I am the resident of daspara road, (Behind falguni sangha club to santashree pally) thakurpukur, kolkata-700063 consumer no. [protected] are suffering massive voltage fluctuation from past few years, in regard to many complain has registered to over telephone & by written to cesc authority but till now no action taken by cesc, peoples of my area are anxious for their electronic & electrical gadgets and losing their forbearance.
Regarding this matter hope cesc authority will take necessary action regarding this matter as early as possible.

    For the past three days in my area, i'm facing a terrible dread as my current supply is very very bad and it is terribly demeaning the customer care side of cesc. You should know that i have complained 10 times and each time i was told that there is no report of irregular service from my area, bediadanga 2nd lane, kolkata 700039. You must know that i have written this mail from my dekstop and in complete darkness. Shame on you and your service. I suspect there is no responsibilty of yours to take care of this problem and so you are not taking any action. Just send the bill, forget about the service.

      We are facing problems. Every night starting from 11.30 p. M. To till 3.00 a. M. There are power fluctuation. My consumer no. [protected] and lp 48/9/3, kolkata 700 035. We are suffering a lot. My ac units every 10 minutes interval disconnected due to power fluctuation. For last 2 months we are unable to sleep properly. This incidents happen only in summer. Please do the needful at your end.

        We are plagued by massive power cuts for five to six hours on a daily basis which was not the case during last summer. Power goes out in the middle of the night in this intense weather leaving everyone awake at night too. What is even worse is that only a portion of the Rameshwarpur Road, Garden Reach locality faces this massive power cut while the rest has no power cut issues as such. Despite repeated attempts to bring this to Cesc helpline's notice nothing has been done so far to resolve this issue and the daily power cut has made our lives hell in this hot weather.

          Please reinspect to additional meter installation applied by s. Basu (2nd floor share holder) lp 133/4, at 45, green park, block — a, kolkata — 700 055 of... Some illegal works are going on. Earlier some officials told me that 2 water pump side by side and can't be installed at same place. There can be short circuit and it can affect other meters. There is already one water pump and it is supposed that another one might be additionally installed (60%installed) which is very illegal as per deed agreement.. Today some officials just came and refused to talk to the other share holders. The behavior is very bad. They just neglect us and talked to each other. They just behave like as if we are outsider. Please look in to this matter as soon as possible. If any problem or incident due to electrical short-circuit arise then other share holders of ground floor and 1st floor will not be responsible for the incidents.

            Security deposit not being returned by the company

            I had owned a flat in Kolkata and had CESC electricity connection in the said flat. I sold the flat to someone in due course and requested CESC to transfer the connection in the name of the new buyer. CESC transferred the connection in the name of the new owner and claimed that they had sent the refund to the address which I had provided them for future correspondence.             In order to pay electricity bill for the month of april, 2017 amounting to rs.1850.00 to cesc i used icici netbanking facility on 18.05.2017 at about 8.51 pm through billdesk gateway. The amount was debited to my account but the same is yet to reach to the service provider i. E. Cesc. Kindly look into this and remit the proceeds to cesc at the earliest so that i can enjoy the benefit of rebate.

              Customer id[protected]/consumer no. [protected] - bill shows meter reading 19864 since december 2016. When physically cross checked with meter the figure was much below. Subsequent bills of jan, feb, march was for zero unit. But the bill for april shows an "average" consumption of 371 units. Reading was taken for the month of jan, feb and march was in front of myself and it appears cesc was doing the the adjustment for the excess units already billed with zero units in jan, feb, and march. From where the average figure 371units came from? It is tenanted accommodation, now owned by me. My house was vacant for many months now. April average is a penalty on me for owning this portion of the building. Kindly make arrangement to refund the payment or adjust it in future. My meter reading and meter reading in bill had a mismatch for last five month. Which may please be looked into.

                This is the second summer we are facing Voltage issues.

                The standard voltage for India is 220V-240V, whereas voltage in my locality fluctuates down to 174V and stays at 190V to 200V most of the time.

                The result is lights are dim most of the time. Heavy appliances like the fridge, air conditioner, microwave get damaged from running at these low voltages.

                The authorities are saying they need a place to install a transformer which nobody is providing but this is no charity and nobody is going to provide land for free.

                Price per kWh customers pay to CESC is one of the highest in India, at Rs.6 per kWh and such ignorance on their part is really bad.

                Voltage still low.

                As on[protected] voltage went down to 168V.
                Lights are not turning on.

                Voltage starts dipping from 8 pm and stays like that till 4 am. I guess that is because all of the air conditioners in the locality is switch on at that time.

                  I, ashim kr banerjee with consumer no. [protected] is facing power cut at the dead of night for 3-4 hrs since yerterday. We get answer from your call centre agent that "work is in progress and it will take around 2 hrs time to restore".

                  My quarries are as follows :
                  A) why this is happening repeatedly?
                  B) suspected reason for failure at this locality?
                  C) what measures cesc is taking to arrest it - so that we can sleep comfortably in the summer?

                  Hope cesc will update me on this.

                    My m no 5460463 was seperated with one cb now another two meter no 4935793 and 5743120 are connected with my meter with a common cb by cesc personnel. Now i am facing frequent p/failure due to cb trip of in night.,
                    My m. No. 5460463 has a capacity of two 1.5 ton a. C. It was seperated with single cb. But two new m. No. 4935793 & 5743120 are connected with a new common cb by cesc personnel. Since then i am feeling frequent power failure due to trip off of common cb which was newly connected.
                    This fault is already doketed by doket no. 3179839 dt. 19/05/2017.
                    Please solve this problem as earliest.

                    Meter no. 5460463, lp 47/2, state that i am facing frequent

                    Power supply failure since last one month.

                    Problem started after mr. Promod dutta, consumer no.

                    [protected], c. Id - [protected] had installed two, 1.5 ton a. C.

                    We are facing frequent trip off of cb, some times 4-5 times

                    A day.

                    It has been observed that surajit saha, consumer no.

                    [protected], c. Id — [protected], meter was also connected

                    With same common cb.

                    Now meter no. 4935793, 5460463, 5743120 are connected with

                    Common cb.. All those meters connected with more

                    Than one 1.5 ton a. C.

                    Now my question is, earlier my meter no. 5460463 was

                    Connected with one seperate cb of my own.

                    Why cesc has connected my meter with common cb???

                    Now my request to you plz take necessary action and

                    Seperate each meter with single cb as per their load.

                      My consumer no.[protected]& customer id:[protected] under cesc, south regional office, 6 mandeville gardens, kolkata-19. As per your records of current months consumption since units consumed in november2016 : 161, december2016 :130, january2017:136, february2017:172, march2017:125 only. Hence we paid in last bill rs.810.00.
                      How as it is reported in the sms received on 14.05.2017 electricity bill for 04/17 becomes rs.2540 (Net) i. E almost above three times more?
                      In the month of january 2017 we received an sms, that our analog meter will be updated to digital meter, but this has not yet been done. It is our apprehension that old meter is malfunctioning and so we are unduly charged. Why we should be bearing the burnt of cesc defective meter?
                      We demand rationalisation of current bill and no further delay in installation of digital meter. A probe on site of misuse of our connection by anyone is solicited.
                      Moreover connection of our apartment by a temporary tube externally hanging from wall instead of bona fide under ground lay out from cesc public supply underground cable is devoid of proper earthing and in several ac mains plugs earth point being energized are burning out our valuable instruments, - please lay out underground cable restoring proper earthing. The 16 flat apartment may catch fire anyday otherwise causing loss of life and every belongings in flats. Sos. Dr. Debasish paul

                          I Mukti Ranjan Banerjee cus. Id: [protected], beg to inform you that there was some problem regarding meter reading (old types) and for that reason I switched off my meter and consume energy from Saptarshi Banerjee’s meter cust. id: [protected].

                          Regarding the problem I went to your Serampore office then Howrah office on 1-dec-2016 docket no:[protected] with my meter photo.

                          The problem could not be solved, I was informed
                          that C.E.S.C Ltd decided to change all old types meter as soon as possible. After that C.E.S.C sent me (Not payable bills) as usual but in the month of March 2017 (and meter readied on 17-mar-2017 and the unit was 6966 as before) but I received a bill from your end (approx. unit’s bill 186 units consumed bill with amount Rs.1290) of that switched off meter, I did not pay the bill as it is not payable at my end.

                          After that my meter has been changed on (21-apr-2017) and set a new digital meter, still now I keep my meter switch of[censored]ntil the problem solve.

                          I am requesting you please look into the problem and take necessary action to generate a fresh bill as soon as possible to enable me to pay the bill, please do the needful and oblige.

                              While receiving the bill for april 2017 of the above consumer no having customer id [protected],

                              It has obseved that ;

                              1. Unit consumed is 217 which has found to be unusual in last 10 years.

                              2. Replaced meter no 7024227 shows unit 17 which is however moderate.

                              3. Indication of last meter reading 8685 is on too high side.

                              In view of above it is requested to review the case and actual rectification may kindly be done in next month bill.

                                  My consumer Id no. [protected] and I used to pay my regular electricity bill by advance payment in lamp sum amount. By seeing the last monthly bill of April 2017, I felt to make some more advance to my account to avoid any default on my part. Accordingly I tendered a Rs 20000.00 cheque on 02/05/2017 at your Kamarhati cash counter along with the last bill of April 2017. The concerned person at 'May I Help You " counter refused to accept the same cheque and asked my representative to submit the bill of May 2017( which was not generated till that time).
                                  I like to draw your attention in this matter and expecting a suitable reply from your cell for this harassment.

                                    I was trying to make my electricity payment of inr.800 through sbi mastercard debit card today (01.05.2017) evening. My consumer no. [protected] and my customer id is [protected]. After entering all the card details when i clicked the 'pay now' button, it shows that the payment is under process inspite of giving me the payment receipt of the same. The windows also suggested me not to go back and refresh the page. The also said that the payment is under provess and the cesc didn't receive the payment yet. I haven't received any msgs from the bank side or the cesc side that the payment is successful. The amount inr.800 isn't debited from the account yet. I checked the a/c balance twice. I was worried that if i shall make the same payment again, the amount will be credited twice into cesc's account or not. Did cesc actually receive the payment (Inr 800) yet? Shall i make the same payment yet again through online. I was using axis bank payment gateway that time. Please response me back as soon as possible. Shall i make my online payment again.
