Hi,

This is Sourish Sinha here. I have raised couple of complaints ([protected], [protected]) with CESC regarding worst condition of the Electric supply piller.
I already complained that the Electricity supply piller(infront of my house) is standing with almost broken base and it could be completely broken at any time. CESC persons visited the place and understood the situation few ddays back and agreed that this should be rectified very soon for avoiding any accident, though no one is fixing the problem and this is now long pending.
I have already raised couploe of complain though no one bothered to che3ck this out.

    I have no any; but there is a connection of meter on my mobile number in your location.. and every month a bill confirmation comes through messages to me..
    No problem. But the bills are not paid.. because bill gradually increasing and became beyond 15, 000.
    Since 12 months I receiving these message as [protected][protected]...

    Why like this.. who is that not paying the amount on bill ... and why registered on my number..

    I already complaint on a received call from you 4 months ago.

    I think this should be considered and resolve soon.

          Dear sir/mam,
          My consumer no-[protected] and customer id -[protected]. sir my august bill reading was 126 unit, bill reading date — 06/08/16. september reading date — 06/09/16 total unit 176. and this month we received huge bill — reading date 13/10/16 (which is delayed and cause extra per unit charge) unit show 296 unit.
          Dear sir, when i mail this my meter reading not exceeded your 13/10/16 reading which was 5953 (after 14 days) my todays meter reading is 5927 units.
          O sir who the person collect the reading i want to know, that means your man who came to read the meter reading he is very poor to do his job or he produced a concocted reading. kindly recheck my meter and solve it immediately that i can pay the current bill in time. i appeal to the concerned authority to take suitable steps in no time to substantiate the bill amount which is very difficult to be paid. please do the needful. ph no — [protected].

            Dear sir,
            The electric bill that i received against the captioned customer id for the month of september, 2016 appears to be much on the higher side. The bill of earlier months sometimes also seem to be not compatible with my apparent consumption, but in this month it appears to be too high for a nuclear family like us. There may be a scope of mistake somewhere either in meter reading or some slippage somewhere which needs urgent verification. I appeal to the concerned authority to take suitable steps in no time to substantiate the bill amount which is very difficult to be paid. Is it that due to festive season the puja committee electricity consumption is being distributed among common poor people like me.

                  Despite repeated requests and personal interactions about a possible power theft through my electricity connection (consumer number being [protected]), the CESC rep refuse to entertain our plea or even send someone down to have a look into the matter. It has been more than a year now since we have been complaining that the electricity units being charged is way beyound our consumption, but the only response we get is that we have to catch the theft which is highly impractical for us being regular citizens with no knowledge of electric connections as such.                           We had applied for a new connection to our premises at Flat-1, 2nd Floor, Millennium Apartments, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Road, Palta, West Bengal-743122 somewhere in April, 2016. On our application (submitted online) we promptly received an offer letter dated 19/04/2016 (ref-MR no-16/05438/16) for a load of 1 KW (Domestic).
                          After a few days we received a call by which we were advised that there was a technical defect in the offer and a fresh offer letter was sent to us promptly again dated 23/04/2016 (MA Bill-16/05438/16/3/2) for a load of 0.5 KW(Domestic) with other annexures. We were advised to carry out necessary installations as was evident in one of the annexure in red. After carrying out necessary installations/alterations, we finally deposited the offer amount of Rs. 2, 710.00 on 20/05/2016. The deposit was made online vide ref number [protected]. The necessary annexures were also submitted at CESC office at Kamarhati on 21/06/2016. The same was informed by e-mail on 10/07/2016 .
                          After the above, we have been waiting indefinitely to hear about the progress on the case. It is more than 4 months that we have deposited the requisite amount and also have carried out necessary installations/alterations at our premises. But it seems CESC after making promises of addressing consumer concerns at the earliest also loves to sit on applications and in our case monetary remittances as well. This is unexpected of CESC and we are disgusted at the callous attitude of the operating staff.

                            Repeated complaints were made to install a good quality (preferrably of fiber make) meter box in place of the existing 25 yrs. old wooden meter box which is now completly broken & partly eaten by termites. cesc's electrical instalations inside that meter box are also not safe and secured.

                            Unfortunately, due to "legal restrictions", consumer's hands are tied and can not do anything but to wait for the mercy of cesc to do the replacement.

                            Complaint docket nos. are : — (1) [protected] dt.24.816 (2) [protected] dt.26.8.16 (3) [protected] dt.27.8.[protected] dt.06.9.16 (5) [protected] dt.08.9.16 (6) [protected] dt.12.9.16 (7) [protected] dt.20.9.16.
                            Interestingly, during the above period, "three different sets of cesc staffs"
                            Comprising 2/3 persons in each set, inspected the site three times. the fact is -"net result, till today is zero". this emphasizes, there is "no co-ordination" between the complaint receivers, visiting inspecters and the actual executioners. hardly believable, that gigantic cesc could not yet do this petty job. cesc is told to be a 'customer friendly' organisation, but unfortunately, i could not get scope to feel that yet.
                            Being undone, i have earlier approached "grievance redressal officer". and "deputy manager, commercial", north suburban regional offce, 32 bt rd. kol-58, through letters dated.13.9.2016 by speed post., if they can do some help. lastly, wish "long live cesc and its services"

                                    This is to inform you that this month I have been charged with extra 212 Units, resulting the monthly bill of INR 1450. As per your bill I have consume 231 Units.In the billmentioned that previous READING IS 53-& Present reading is Blank.                                       Please note that I am getting notifications for consumer no [protected], Customer ID [protected] on my mobile phone no.[protected].
                                      I have complained earlier also thro emails but there is no result.
                                      The name of the consumer mentioned *RP Prasad* bears no relation with me nor does his address. Please correct the details and stop sending these irrelevant sms to me.
                                      Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation [CESC] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                      This is with consumer no - [protected] and customer id [protected] we are seeing highest bill this month though it seems completely absurd. I have only one air conditioner which is running on 3-4 hours max on average basis daily. Then how come this abnormal amount can come. Please clarify.
