Sir/Madam,

Myself bought a new Carrier AC (Split 1.5 T, Duraedge plus K+3s) on 21.03.2015 from Vasanth & Co, Rajaji road, West tambaram, Chennai 600045.

Till today i have registered Eight complaints (Complaint no[protected] about cooling problem and water leakage to customer care. Three times service engineers came and tried to sort out the problem. But its waste of time and waste of energy. For timepass they are cleaning the AC and telling only stories, till now same problem is there. And the behavior with customer is very rude.

An engineer from carrier midea contacted me and advising to switch on AC two hours before and then enter the room. Who will bear the EB charges and is the right way from carrier company to guide like this for the scrap machine.

Regarding this issue, i have sent detailed mail to carrier customer support on 07.11.2015. Carrier service engineers came and again checked. They told some technical words which i can't able to understand.

Here I am registering the complaint against carrier midea to replace the machine which is under warranty and no one else need not to come for service. Cost of machine is Rs. 37500, my hard earned money. Carrier midea should not try to cheat with these type of scrap machines to customers.
Carrier Midea India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Split ac water leakage

I purshased the Split ac 2 month ago. Water is leaking from the front panel and i registered the complaint on 17th august but didn't get any response. my customer id is 91224923. I am reachable at +91-[protected]. Thanks, Yagnehs

    I had purchased 1 tonn split ac of carriermidea from avonaire solution mohali. on 26 may 2015. it worked for one month and started giving error of EC i put complaint on customer care Customer ID is : 91452299. People came from service center and said there is gas leakage problem and charged me rs 1500 for gas. since it was under warranty. problem persisted, i again complaint and team visited and said there is PCP problem. which so far has not been resolved. i have been suffering from heat and harrasment from the last one month but my complaint has not yet resolved. it is 7th sep of 2015. this is so pathetic and worst experience i hav had with carrier midea. I am suffering from heat since i had spent full money on it and my ac is still not working.

      Hi i have bought a carrier split ac 1. 5 ton. I had bought with an extended warranty.
      One year the services were to be chased but eventually got done. The problem started when the extended warranty started.
      I had complained on june 9th for water leaking. The technician came and charged me for cleaning and said the cooling is not happening. He billed me for it and i paid without any discussion. He assured me that he will come and solve the cooling problem.

      Since then i have been following with croma care and nothing is been happening. Everytime i am assured that someone will call.

      On 24th july which is after more than a month and a half i got a call and was told that someone will come and attend the next day.

      Again a false promise and no one has called or come.

      Today again i called and i am assured some one will attend to our grievences. It is frustrating and i don't know why i paid for extended warranty.

      If the company cannot provide the services why take extended warranty.

      We are a ccouple who are working and every time we have to either take an off or go late for work.

      I am hoping that the problem is solved at the earliest.

        the noise level in my split ac is so much then the normal, even after complaining 2 times in costumer care the problem is not solved, the technician is ignoring the problem by saying that, the noise level is normal...however all the relatives of mine point out this problem in my ac whenever they visit home.

          Dear Sir/Madam We had purchased three split AC'S for our office i.e Bank of Baroda ludhiana, partap chownk, 1st floor.The AC, S were not working untill the last month and wre throwing dust when we called your servise deptt and were told to shift the out units of the ac on the terrace for which the charges/estimates given by the Company were very high.So we got the shifting of the out units from outside at a lower price.However the AC'S are working now but the problem of it throwing dust inside persists.On calling your office and informing about the same as it is in guarantee we were told by Mr Nirmal that it is out of guarantee as you have got your out units shifted from outside.We would like to inform you that that we have purchased AC'S from your Company.moreover te entire contract of AC'S was given to your Company having more than 10 AC'S and it is only your after sale service that matter and if we get such kind of responses from your people it is very sad.If mere shifting of the out units cancels the guarantee then in that case we would have to report this to our higher authorities and accordingly move to consumer forum.Kindly resolve/reply as soon as possible.

            I purchased Carrier Novello 1.5 tonnage AC in march 2014 in Jamshedpur. AC did not work right after it was installed. Since that day I have called and followed Customer Care, local service centre as well as regional service manager. Its going to be 7 month but still no solution. I requested them to replace this AC with new AC but no use. What should I do. its 7 month and no replacement yet. I would like to get compensation too along with new AC with new warranty. what should I do very much disturbed and upset on this. Where should I go, to whom should I contact. Customer care is useless they have only one word to say whenever you call to whatever serious problem you have "your problem will be resolved, your concern has been forwarded to concerned department".Please tell me what should I do ?

              Hi, I have purchased a Carrier inverter split AC in April this year from Vijay Sales. it was installed a few days after. Ever since its installation, we have had water leakage problems. I have made at least 10-12 complaints in the past 4 months and at least 5-8 times your technicians / engineers have come home, checked & reportedly fixed the AC, and have reported to me that the AC is fixed and will not leak anymore. However, water leakage problems continue. The last complaint was made on 12th August. It is 25th August today and neither has a technician visited my house nor has anyone called back. I have made at least 3-4 calls to the customer service helpline since the 12th and they keep assuring me that a senior technician will visit my house the very next day. However, nobody comes. All this is on record in your customer service database. In case this AC is not sorted out tomorrow, as confirmed to my by Carrier Customer Care just now, I will be returning the AC to Vijay Sales and filing a complaint and a suit for money-back and damages against Carrier in the Consumer Redressal Forums / Consumer Court. This quality of AC installation and this poor quality of customer service are clear indications that Carrier has lived out its quota of pathetic quality products and services and should not be in business any more. Atleast not in India.

                I purchased a window AC of the Carrier company from the dealer on 08-7-13. It started malfunctioning from the start of this season. I made several complaints then it was attended by the customer care and uninstalled the machine and took away on 02-06-14. The complaint was registered with complaint no. 91244567. There after the AC is with the service center and I am getting no response from them. We are suffering in the hot summer without AC. The AC is under warranty for one year.
