1. I purchased a phone of Rs26499 on 17th May 2020 from Amazon via their mobile phone application. The screenshot of payment which is showing order number and payment method is attached.
2. The product was damaged and I asked for refund. Amazon initiated refund on 9th June 2020 and gave me a refund reference number which is 75503720162040267345145. They said I will get this refund in 5 working days. They also said this refund reference number is given by the bank.
3. When I didn't received refund even after 5 working days, I called Amazon customer care but they asked me to contact Central Bank of India and to give them this refund reference number.
Central Bank of India customer care executive asked me to go to branch directly and lodge a complaint. I went to Central Bank of India's Jind, Haryana branch, met the manager. Manager told me they doesn't have process of receiving of complaint. He doesn't know what to do. He never heard of this kind of complaint. I called Central Bank of India customer care from the bank, who spoke with manager and then both of them recommend me to send a email to [protected]@centralbank.co.in and asked me to wait for 2 working days. I mailed them on 19th June 2020 and its 4th day, I have not received any communication from them. The snapshot of mail is attached.
4. I called customer care of Central Bank of India again and he asked me to contact Amazon. I called Amazon and he asked me to contact Central Bank of India and suggested me to write complaint on this forum.
5. I request you to please look into this matter and help me to get my money back.
Note :- the bank complaint was mailed in the name of my father Joginder Singh Malik because debit card was his. And I purchased phone from Amazon with my account on the name of Aman Malik
