MY NAME IS PARESH. I HAD PERSONAL LOAN WITH CHOLAMANDALAM DBS.
I REMEMBER SETTLING MY ACCOUNT WITH THEM BY EARLY MID 2008 ITSELF. OFCOURSE I HAD OBTAINED THE RECEIPT BUT NOW AFTER 2 YEARS GAP. NOW THEY ARE THREATING ME AND MY WIFE ( WHEN I AM NOT AT HOME ) ASKING TO PAY A SUM OF RS.15000 . SINCE IT IS MORE THAN 2 YEARS. I DO NOT REMEMBER WHERE I KEPT MY RECEIPT. THE PAYMENT WAS MADE IN CASH. IN THESE LAST 2 YEARS. THEY DID NOT MAKE ANY CLAIMS NOR ANY BODY VISITED. MY PLACE NOT DID I RECEIVE ANY PHONE CALLS.

DUE TO LOSS IN MY BUSINESS, I SHIFTED FROM MY JOB PLACE. BUT MY RESIDENCE ADDRESS AND PHONE NOS. ARE THE SAME. I ASKED FOR THE STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT WHICH THEY ARE REFUSING TO GIVE AND INSTEAD USING UGLY FLITHY LANGUAGES, WHICH I AM SURE IS NOT AN BUSINESS ETHICS.

KINDLY ENLIGHTEN ME WHAT SHOULD BE DONE. THEY ARE NOT EVEN GIVING TIME SO THAT I CAN SEARCH THE RECEIPT IF AVAILABLE ( WHICH THEY ARE DEMANDING NOW.

    I Kaushal Mehta had applied for loan against property and got it disbursed on Dec 24, 2009 my Loan Account No is X0HERHE[protected]. My First EMI started on 5-Feb, 2010 and I was given the money on 25 Jan, 2010(well that is not the issue) the issue is Cholamandlam had promised me a life insurance policy from Max New York Life Insurance for which they had already decucted the Single Premium amount of 65,000 from the loan amount but till date they havnt given me the First Premium Recipt of the policy documents, when been asked contimiously to Mr Tejas Mehta (Branch Incharge of Surat) he has no answer to it and asked to call up their Chennai headoffice.

    We are already paying interest for the amount that is not been borrowed by us.

    Can anyone help me.

      My name is Sathish Kumar residing in Avadi Chennai. I was taken Personal Loan from Cholamandalam DBS my Loan Ac No. is XSEGABT[protected] on 05/09/2007 taken amount is 34500/=. My first EMI false very next month 05/10/2007 till date from my account amt was debited exat date up to November 2009, due to financial crises iam not able to pay further emi's on Feb 2010 finaly company executive came for settlement and i asked for settlement they gave letter also after that in April 2010 Emi hit in my back account that time fund is there so it passed 1783/= i was suprised and i asked the call center they replied you loan is still active if you closed pls contact nungambakkam office they will close. I went nearly 7 times to meet concerned officials but i meet 7 personal each time after repeted call and follow up i got message from 1 personal this letter is not authorised therefor you loan Ac. is still active i have evidence till date every month EMI is hiting my bank and ecs bouncing in bank also they are putting charges and from DBS also call is receiving you outstanding amt is so and so. I got irritated every time tell me any way to come out of this pls.

      CHOLAMANDALAM DBS FINANCE LTD — EMI taken twice and refunded With wrong initial.

      Sir,
      Kindly note that I am your customer (code: j614) since 1999 for loan for (Agrmr.No. 16860-0 dated[protected]Agrmr.No. XSEGCH[protected]) maruti Omni. Till date I am continuing as your customer by having a personal loan. In between 10-2002 to 04-2008 I had three loans and they all have been cleared without any remarks. In my current personal loan on 6th Jul 2009 my installment got bounced due to unavoidable circumstances. Hence one collection agent called and came to my house on 14/07/2009 and collected Rs 3217/- and issued a receipt having no.[protected]. after that on 16/07/2009 an amount of Rs 3217/- has been taken again for the same payment from my Axis bank a/c under ECS facility.

      After complaint they had returned the amount by post on 01-08-09 for the amount Rs.2184/- after deducting Rs 1033/- as bounce charges. But they had sent the cheque with a new initial. My full name is A. Jamal Mohamed but they had sent the cheque as A.R. Jamal Mohamed. When we deposited the cheque it got bounced due to mismatch in my name. When we spoke to the customer care they informed that in the agreement my name is mentioned like that only. At the time of the issuing the loan amount the cheque is given in the name of A. Jamal Mohamed only and it is also cleared in the axis bank a/c. But now they are saying that the account is in the name of A. R. JAMAL MOHAMED. Kindly inform us how it is changed.

      Please note that 1) the EMI has been taken twice is the mistake of yours 2) the cheque is issued in the wrong name is also the mistake of yours. When we spoke to the customer care they are not even bothered to feel sorry for the mistake committed by you. And instead they are asking me to come here and there. I want to know why unnecessarily I have to roam here and there because the mistake committed by you.
      Already I had suffered a loss because of the 2nd EMI clearing as I had issued another cheque to another party based on that amount which I had in my account then.
      I wish to inform you that I have full faith and respect on the cholamandalam. But because of the mistakes of few employees my long association with your group has gone sour.
      I request you to kindly take action and rectification on my issues.

      •i have not received any acknowledgment of paying of personal loan, and NO DUE certificate for the same. For me it is important to got this certificate.

        no response for preclosure of loan

        hence I am trying to contact his mumbai office but sorry I am fail to contact them, then
        i have try to there channai office but no one is responding to guide me how I can make
        the payment and close my loan account, for preclosure of loan account...

        Sub: Post Dated Cheque Dishonoured by my Bank

        With ref to the above, we came to understand that, you have presented a post dated cheque, instead of cheque dated 5th July 2010, in the month of JULY, and our bank informed, they have dishonoured a post dated cheque.
        You are informed here with that, we are keeping sufficient funds in the Account and in order to present 5th july 2010 cheque, if your office presented a post dated cheque, it is your fault and liability and kindly present the correct dated cheque, the funds are there with the Account.
        You may be aware that last 27 months cheques cleared from my Account without any bouns.
        In the mean time, you have not informed us officialy that the cheque dishonoured due to your mistake, and however a girl from your Madras and a boy from Cochin, claiming so, asking over phone for cash for the dishonoured cheque, where in your welcome letter and in terms and conditions, you have cleary instructed not to give any cash.
        Even though, on faith, I have informed the both that if they come with the bounced cheque, along with a letter from the Cholamandalam DBS, very well they can straight away collect a new cheque, and I could not understand that, even though, a post dated cheque, by mistake, very well you can present my july 2010 cheque , which is with you.
        Also it is to be noted that 05July 2010 cheque No.763413 up to 36th month instalment cheque no.763421 are continuous and proper in favor of Cholamandalam DBS Finance Ltd, and you have acknoledged the receipt, without any fault and all the cheques are crossed without any overwriting and correction from my side.
        Also here with please note that, if any cheque bounds, due to your fault, it is your liability, and due to any delay in getting the payment is your risk and liability and we are not liable and not responsible to pay any charges thereon.
        In future also, please be kind enough to inform, if any thing, in black and white by regd post only, in your company letter head, signed by a reponsible designation and any phone calls pretending your staff, and request for a cash, or payment in some other Account are not entertained by us. Hence we like to inform you clearly that, if any cheque bourns due to the reasons of yours, delay in payment due to the reason of yours, are not our responsibility and we are not liable for that and we will not pay any charges extra.

          Dear Sir,

          I am a victim of a fraud by CholaMandalam MS.

          I had a car policy with them which expired on 30th June, 2010.

          Around 11th of June,I met their agent.They indicated the premium to be paid which I paid by cheque and was cashed as well.

          By 30th of June, there was no sign of the policy.I followed up with the agent and he said there was a delay but not too worry, I would get a cover note

          Around 1st July 2010, I got a cover note from the Mumbai office (which is valid for 2 months).

          Subsequently, the Mumbai office called up saying that my policy is NOT Approved and has been cancelled.The reason that I had 3 claims the previous year.

          Is this legal?Can an insurance co cash my premium, issue a cover note and then say that the policy is "rejected"?

          Please indicate how can I take legal redress in this matter.

            Dear Sir/ Madam,

            I am prakash Dubey , i joined DBS Cholamandalam Securities LTD and later transfer in DBS DIstribution Ltd. i left the company in dec 2009. and completed all the necesaary documents even i send my PF form to the company , but still i am waiting for my PF settelment everytime i call the company i get response that it will credited next month but now its more than 15 months to submit my PF form but i have not get any response from either my compony or Pf office , company location is chennai.

                My car was insured by Cholamandalam DBS iin the year 2009-10 and this year even after repeated requests they have not insured it till date by saying that my car is more than 10 year old.

                I have contacted them one month before expiry and they told me initially that they will renew the insurance . After that they kept on telling me that they will send some one or other and passed the time till the expirty date. After that they are not even responding to my calls. If Chola was not ready to insure the car they should have told me in the first place at least one month before expirty so that i could have searched for some other insurer though i do not understand why chola is not ready to insure cars more than 10 years old for which they have been giving insurance. Secondly they have kept me assuring that they will send someone till the expirty date has passed. And after that they are not responding to my calls. The Karolbagh office gave me false asurance and the name of the lady was Ms. Renu and the number is 39813114 .                 But there is no response from their side i gave all the hospital documents to one of their employ mr mantosh kumar ([protected]) even he is not picking up my call. I have called there call center several times they just say its under investigation. I have send emails to them regarding this but still no response.
                Also when i went to the indusind bank those who have sold me the particular product say they cannot help, and they also refused to renew my policy saying that the plans have changed and it cannot be renewed.

                Please help me and suggest me what to do, feeling helpless.

                  Without information ECS was presented:
                  Loan Account No. XSEGERR[protected]
                  Borrower – Veeraiah Kasula – General Stores Owner

                  The aforesaid loan has been taken as on 8th May, 2008 from Cholamandalam DBS, for a period of 3 years for an EMI of Rs. 4512/- to be represented as on 5th Of Every month to be started from June 5th - 2008.Till the date all EMI’s were cleared properly.

                  As on 5th April, 2010, one of the EMI got bounced as there was strike going on in Hyderabad city and banks were closed & we were not able to deposit the money in bank. For which we called your customer care after two days, which told us that there is no system of representation of EMI which we asked for and we were told that some will call us as an when they will get update on EMI bounce. After 5days we got a call form cholamandalam DBS regarding EMI bounce and they told us that an executive will be sent and payment can made to that person. We asked about EMI bounce charges on the call the person told that there will not be any EMI bounce charges for the first 2 EMI bounces, however we were clearly told that in the beginning that the EMI bounce charges will be there but they did not communicated the exact amount. An executive was sent by cholamandalam as on 14th April, 2010 and payment was made to him in Cash vide receipt no.1890133 to Mr. Suresh (Ph: [protected], [protected]) and we also asked him about the EMI bounce charges he also told the same thing as above. So my emi for April which was bounced got cleared and no amount was due on behalf of myself.

                  As on 20th April, 2010 when I checked my SBI bank account No.[protected] from which cholamandalams EMI was cleared through ECS, there was an entry of representation of EMI of Rs.4512 of choalamandalam DBS. As I thought my EMI is up to date I have issued a cheque of Rs.6000/- to others was bounced and the person whom I issued the cheque called me and started yelling at me. This all because of you guys and because of not proper customer service.

                  When I called customer care toll free no. of cholamandalam on[protected] around 4pm, Indian Standard Time as on 23/04/2008, and talked with executive he told me that there was a technical error from cholamanalam side and due to which the emi has been represented...and they are sorry for the inconvenience caused to me, When I asked for a complaint no. she said there is no system of complaint no. Loan account no. is only complaint No. and they gave me the Hyderabad office contact numbers to contact them for refund of mine extra EMI paid for that month.

                  When I called them and gave my loan reference No. they told that they haven’t got any information regarding the ECS representation and were telling that if we have any proofs of bank statements they asked us to come with those things. I went there and provided the bank statement of my bank they told that we will get an checque of EMI in 10dys which has come and they were telling that we have to pay the EMI bounce charges in reply to that we told them what we have been communicated with there agents on the call which we have got form cholamandala DBS.But the Team leader of Hyderabad office was saying that as this was the mistake from there end he told he will forfeit the EMI bounce charges but he failed to do so and they were also collected the interest for EMI bounce charges and refunded the remaining thru checque No – “019591”[protected].

                  And I have taken the statement form Cholomandala DBD and in that there is no entry of ECS re-presentation on 20/04/2010 where as it should have been in there records, however they have an entry of the refunded checque I don’t know why. If they do not have entry of ECS representation they should not have refunded checque. I don’t know why? Even I am attaching the copy of that statement with this complaint.

                  Here I have a question for you as communicated to us by the agents that there will not be any EMI bounce charges what would be my situation at the end of my loan period? I have paid a interest of Rs.49/- towards EMI bounce That may look small now. How much they would have done by the end of my loan period by calculating your unknown interest rates.

                  I THINK THIS IS A REALLY GOOD PLAN OF YOUR COMPANY TO SQUEES THE BLOOD OF CUSTOMERS.



                   There is a mistake in your system, first you say there is no representation of EMI then you represented it.

                   Payment has been made, but the system was not upadated...Updating system is your job, not of customers. I don't operate your computers.otherwise I would have done by myself.

                   Your executives accepted that there is a clear technical error in your system due to which the EMI was represented inspite of saying no and inspite of making payment.

                   A lot of inconvenience has been caused to me. And has to listen to the yelling of persons to whom I have issued the checque.

                  Compensation has to be paid on the following grounds:

                   For inconvenience which has been caused to me due to disnonour of ECS without consent and due to technical mistake in your system.

                   Wastage of Time in talking and arguing with your customer care executives.

                   Writing this email and sending it to consumer court.

                   Towards my personal checque bounces charges.

                   And most important spoiling my bank statement and bringing down the reputation and goodwill of myself.


                  Kindly take down my written request for foreclosure of this loan and refund me the compensation amount.Your sorry is not enough. If I delay your payment and say sorry then you will accept my sorry only with late fees charge Right...so similar rule is applicable to you.

                    Hi i m Ravleen Sethi i work with TV9 News channel.
                    My father Mr.Inderjeet Singh sethi took the loan from Cholmandalam DBS Ltd. 5years back and we are the non defaulter in paying ECS to them for our loan amount Rs.100000.
                    We made the final settlement of the loan amount on 12th April,2010 at cholamandalam mumbai office at 502, 5th Floor, Timmy Arcade, Makwana Road, Andheri East,Mumbai -400069

                    The lady named Ujwala took our cheque & gave us the confirmation receipt on the spot
                    but these people deducted our money from our bank account through which we used to pay for loan ecs.

                      The mail is attached for the problem I have faced no body from the company has contacted me. When the company is not ready to serve the customers why I sould visit their office always.

                      Dear Team,



                      Some executive has given a call to me and told me that they are some instalment due from my side. He said the manager will revert on this for the same, But nobody has contacted me till date. I have losed my patience. I have already forwarded this mail to the consumer forum and now not ready to pay a single rupee. As per my knowledge not instalments were pending. Further I have not received any statement for the due amount. If sent request you to provide me the courier details or postal details.

                      I Vijay Kumar Gupta bearing Two Wheeler Loan Account No X2WHMLP[protected] Feel very bad to write this mail on your service provided at Ameerpet Hyderabad Branch.

                      I visited Ameerpet Branch of Cholamandalam on 13 March 2010 for NOC to make the due payment but no body is available at two wheeler service counter. When I enquired with security guard about the concern person he replied that the person Mr Srinivas went for tea. I waited for one & half hour and one again asked the guard about the person he replied that he is on leave. I am confused whether srinivas went for a tea or he is on leave. Then I asked him that I want to meet a Manager of that branch, security guard replied that the manager is on leave. I asked who is the next person to escalate the same. I tried to lodge a complaint on toll free number they have lifted the call but suggested me to write the this mail.

                      Further I requested to provide me a contact number of manager but nobody has provided me any number.Further there is no escalation matrix available in the office. If the manager is not available then you cannot stop all the operations at branch. I cannot take a leave every week and cannot visit

                      This problem is not only faced by me but by all the persons visited the office on that day.
                      I have a list of six persons who have faced the same problem on the same day.

                        Hi,

                        I June 2008 I took loan(x2whdtw[protected]) for my bike Splender NXZ. in the name of Sachin Bhardwaj. I have make ECS arrangement for the payment of my monthly installment.

                        Installment get deducted smothly for first 2 months and after then on next 3 day i used to get calls from the cholamandalam executive that ECS can not be cleared, Kindly make the payment in cash to our executive. I was having sufficient balance in my account all the time.

                        When I ask for why it didn't get cleared, the answer I got that there is some technical fault through which we are getting issue and it will not happen next month, your money will get deducted through ECS after words.

                        Again on the 4 and onwords months I got call from the executive that ECS is not cleared and please make the payment in cash. I have filled ECS form again for 2 times in hope all this technical fault will get cleared but no luck

                        Now my all the installement are cleared. Now when I ask for my NOC they asking me for additional money of Rs 3500 for the latepayment which is not my fault.

                        This is due to their technical fault or whatever from their end.

                        I have a kind request to please Provide me my vehicle NOC ASAP.

                        If my request is not going to fullfill within a week span time im going to ask for the componsation of Rs 6000

                        Kindly send me the NOC at my address which is with you.

                          FYI: the information which was told my receptionist was, "Meenakshi Sundaram has a personal loan with us, please ask him to maintain a balance of Rs. 2462 in his bank account for the EMI for the month of November against the personal loan he has availed with Cholamandalam".
                          Adding to this surprise, my receptionist conveyed this to me in front of 10 people at my office.

                          I had a personal loan with your Bank which has been pre-closed recently. The check has cleared the Bank and I have a receipt for the payment made.

                          Today, I received a call from your Bank at my office telephone number –[protected]. The call was regarding a remainder of my EMI for the next month, which is due on November 5, 2009. The reason for me to lodge a complaint is because of two reasons.

                          1.I should have never received this remainder call as the account is pre-closed. You were very prompt in taking the money out of my account immediately. After the money being taken out, I receive a remainder call for the next EMI which is not due at all.
                          2.This is the most worrying part as the call was attended by the receptionist. The person who had called should have asked for me and spoken to me regarding this. The receptionist had answered that Meenakshi Sundaram (ME) is not available at his extension currently. The person who spoke from your Bank had told the receptionist that my EMI is due on November 5, 2009. Please ask him to have sufficient funds in his account for the personal loan. The person has also told the amount as Rs. 2462/-.

                          This is ridiculous and painful. A Bank cannot disclose my personal information to anyone and that too at my office. I need a couple of things and I am asking very politely.

                          Firstly, find out the person who called me today at around 11.00 a.m. and take necessary / corrective / disciplinary actions to avoid this.

                          Secondly, compensate me with Rs. 5,000/- immediately. I mean it, YES, FIVE THOUSAND rupees. If this is not considered seriously at your Bank, a formal complaint will be lodged in the police station and a consumer forum for a Bank disclosing my personal and banking details to a third person without my consent. With this complaint, time and the effort that I have to take, the compensation amount that I will quote in consumer forum is Rs. 20,000. The choice is yours.

                          Please revert ASAP and if you are not the right person, please provide the respective authorities phone number and/or email address.

                          If this is not resolved in 5 business days, the above said complaint will be lodged with the mentioned authorities and a copy will be sent your office and Banking Ombudsman.

                          I am a resident of Kalpakkam and my broad band connection with phone number[protected] is not working for a long time and the complaints are totally ignored by the BSNL local office with irritating replys.BSNL bills and payment formalities are regular and is shameful to indicate such behaviors from concerned officers.                           cholamandalam dbs — ECS prior date cheque transfer

                          I have purchased my bike in the year of 2007 thru cholamandalam finance,as per norms i must pay the ECS amount of Rs 1633/- on 6th of every month i paid the amount 23 months on a right time.In the mid term one month DBS people were processed my cheque 1 day earlier due to unsufficient fund my cheque got returned for that i have been paid my bank Rs.500/- as a penalty and DBS people were asking a amount of Rs.500/- as apenalty and also such a long time no one did not informed me if i failed to make the particular ECS amount i will charged interest for that, after my conclusion DBS people were forcing me to pay the amount of Total Rs 2523/- to collect my NOC certificate.See if a genuine customer is facing such a kind of problem then what is the use of raising a complaint in redressal department,Sir atleast wave my penalty charges to clear my outstanding unneccessarily am not ready to pay any more interest for DBS already i made more amount as a interest.
                          After login complaint as of now i did not get reply agains on my problem, then why the people beleived your department that you will help us for the same.

                            The message below has been sent 3 (Three) times to the said organisation, but so far nobody has even bothered to make a curtsey call.

                            Sir,

                            I had taken a Home Equity loan of Rs. 50 lacs vide agreement no.X0HELIN[protected] disbursed on 07.07.08 with an agreement of 2% forecolosure charges with an enhancement of Rs. 20 lacs in March.09. The enhancement is enough to show my good credententials and a good maitenance my credit. But when I cleared my loan in Sep.09, I was pained to note that such credit was not maintained from your side and I was charged 4% as foreclosure charges. Such a treatment was just not understandable at all. I have a very strong feeling that I was being penalised for maitenaning my account in a perfect and impeccable manner. This is something totally unjustified and against the terms and conditions of the loan agreement. This is also likely to affect any future relationships and endorsements as well.

                            Kindly refund the excess charged amount from me in this regard at the earliest so as to avoid any future unpleasantness.

                                i made many attempts to get loan cleared certificate from cholamandal dbs finance company in hyderabad but faild in vain.I belive that the company closed down their personal loan operation, even when they shut down theiro perations they must do their proper communication to all the costumers but they did not do that.I applied for a home loan wiht anohter loan compnay but they are asking me the loan cleared certified from chola dbs since they the compnay is not reponding my calls, emails, personal appreance to their office in hyderabad am unable to get the home loan.

                                looks like the cholamandalam company need only their money and intrest they are not bother do to any further formalites to their customer whom pay their dues on time..

                                I cleared my loan al most 3months before with out any bouncing or delay in my payments, idont understant why the comnpany is not value their good customers.
                                i request the concern department to courier my loan cleard letter to my new addres follws.

                                Myself Pradeep Agarwal, son of Mr. Kashmiri lal Agarwal and Mrs Shakuntala Agarwal, my phone number is [protected]. I have filed a health claim for reimbursement under Chola Ms for my mother, my policy number is ibl-gold-001972 and membership number is a408277a/b/c.

                                But there is no response from their side i gave all the hospital documents to one of their employ mr mantosh kumar ([protected]) even he is not picking up my call. I have called there call center several times they just say its under investigation. I have send emails to them regarding this but still no response.
                                Also when i went to the indusind bank those who have sold me the particular product say they cannot help, and they also refused to renew my policy saying that the plans have changed and it cannot be renewed.

                                Please help me and suggest me what to do, feeling helpless.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  This mail is in regard to the Renewal of Motor Insurance Policy, which was already with Cholamandalam MS General Insurance. I am having a Hyundai Santro Xing Car, having registration Number DL 3CAL 6719. My wife is the owner of the car. The policy was supposed to renew on 14th May 2009. On first instance against cover note a cheque of Rs. 7279 was issued. By any means cheque bounced and the same was intimated to us. Again new cover note bearing number 7573294 was issued to us after having the vehicle inspected by the authorised agency agent hired by Cholamandalam MS General Insurance. For the same Demend Draft of Amount Rs. 7279/- issued by Central Bank of India was given to the insurance agency. Since the cover note was issued by Faridabad Branch. One more thing I would like to mention here, is that cover note issued is bearing date 22.05.09, whereas bank draft is valid from 23.05.09 to next six months. Now almost 60 days are over and I have not received Insurance Policy. For the same I have spoken to their executive many times.
                                  Now for more than 60days I am running my vehicle without valid policy.
                                  I feel that this is the case of deficiency of basic customer service by the agency. ANd even negligience on promise, where as the company initiated to approach me to avail their services.

                                  I would like to know who is bearing the mental harrasment and waistage of time everyday staying in touch with them to know the status of policy to be issued.

                                  Is there any helpdesk for the same to eradicate my problem with the insurance company.

                                  Hoping to get positive response and feedback for the same.
