My name is Sanjay Singh Sehrawat, I'm citibank credit card customer since more than 10 years and all of a sudden my transaction got declined. When i called customer care they told my card account is closed during a internal review.

I asked for the reasons but they didn't told me any reason. It's very insulting that how can citibank suddenly close the account. Since so many years i always acted like a loyal customer and use to make timely payment and didn't had any issues. Kindly help to resolve the problem and reactivate the card.

Sub- Available credit limit closed in my 3 Citibank Credit Cards No.-(1)4386xxxxxxxxxx92, (2)4386xxxxxxxxxx89, (3)5546xxxxxxxxxx45.
Available credit limit in all my 3 cards has been closed. On line enquiry vide no.[protected] dtd.02.08.2020. it is found that on internal scrutiny checking some non compliance has been found and as such available credit limit has been closed, without any notice to me. I am holding these cards more than 30 years. I am really shocked that how without any notice by letter or mail how these cards are closed, that to in this COBID19 crises time when these cards are much more required. Please reconcile the case and arrange so that the cards can be reactivated for reuse. I have deposited minimum amount due in the current month also before due date. On line statement for the cards are also not possible to generate on line now.

    I havent taken any services from amazon and its 999 deduction from account without my permission and i would like to know what kind of transaction it is and also need my refund back to my card.

      4386 xxx0 xxxx 2197 - i have applied for personal loan through citibank app. Interest is around 11% rs. 7271 on monthly basis which is finally calculated as per emi calculator. Now i found on my 1st emi they are charging 391.63 rs. Extra as gst on my monthly emi. So now i have to pay 7271 + 391.63 = 7662.63 rs. Monthly. When i had applied interest was 11% but on payment now it's 16.5% interest. Now i could go with cancellation because they will add 3-4% closure charges.in this pandemic situation citibank is not helping to reliable customers they are cheating for loan charges. I had checked also charges of icici and indusind bank they are charging amount as per loan calculator and they are not taking any extra charges to customers. If citibank said 11% then they should charge 11% only, whatever the interest and gst charges that all should be included in monthly emi. Please help to solve this as i can cancel my loan for this wrong information.

        I have been charged a late fee and other igst and annual interest charges during this pandemic.

        And there is no way to reach out to the customer support, nor mail or call.

          Unfortunately, i opted for a credit card and used it to purchase a device using the emi option with the citibank credit card.

          I have been charged unexplained interest on amounts / late fee charges during this current pandemic.

          Despite all this, the current issue or the main point i would like to bring into the light is that i was trying to reach out to the customer service through calls, email, and their official website. I am unable to take a single step forward after clicking a button. I cant write a mail, cannot connect with them through call and there is simply no option on the app to reach out. All i get is self assist stupidity and pages of information from them.

          I feel this is highly unfair to lock the customer when payment periods are approaching and leaving them 0 option to clarify their doubts. What option would i have instead to just pay if they charge me a hefty amount, which they are anyways now?

            Please note that my card no. Xxxx xxxx xxxx 7674. My bill (Statement date: may 11, 2020; and due date: may 28, 2020) includes interest charge and igst 18%. Since you announced that during the pandemic you won't take any such charges, my question is why do you do this. I request you to reverse these charges.

            Secondly, please note that i deposited the check well on time at one of your designated collection center. Due to the covid 19 pandemic, entailing shortage of service staff, i assume, my check was collected after about a couple of weeks post the due date. Since i never defaulted on payment of my bills — my payment history would testify — you may trust me. Thanks.

                I would like to draw your attention towards a lingering issue with my citibank credit card ending with 6642, since 25 march 2020. My card has been deactivated since the specified date and i have been pursuing your support relentless via multiple channels to get the issue sorted. However, the card remains inactive.

                I have failed to receive any conclusive justification from citi support as to why the card has not been activated despite my clear payment track records for the last 12+ years and also clearing out the latest outstanding amount.

                To summarise the background for this issue for your reference : an older card ending with 9429 which was requested to be closed had an outstanding of inr 148, for which the statement was generated after the card was closed. As i was informed that the credit limit for this card would be transferred to my card ending with 6642, i believed there were no outstanding. As the closed card was not reflecting in my account and credit limit was transferred, i had no ways of validating.
                It was only on 25 march 2020, i came to know that the card has been linked and not closed and the outstanding of inr 148 has triggered deactivation of my actively used and paid card ending with 6642.
                After repeated followups with support teams, there was no conclusive response and i was being asked to clear the outstanding on both cards, which i have alreday done. However, despite all this, i'm being informed that the card cannt be activated.

                This untimely deactivation of the card and having to repeatedly followup to get this sorted has been extremely stressful and troublesome. I would like to request you to please look into this matter as i always maintained a clear payment track records with citibank and have a green cibil score.

                    This is b. Srinivas my card no.[protected], i have received a bill of april, 2020. Statement column date 18.04.20 interest charge @3.50% (42.0% annual) and igst total an amount of rs.517.78/-. I cant understand how can you charge this amount in my bill.
                    I request to you please reversal the above said amount immediately, my card is absolute free of annual fee from beginning.

                    I humbly request to you earlier bill also (March-2020) have received interest charge @3.50% (42.0% annual) and igst total an amount of rs.1306.93/-

                    So i request to you please reversal the two months excess amount, i already contact the call center number of times finally i paid the entire amount, but your authorities to consider the same and reversal the my paid excess amount of rs.1306.93 and 517.78 immediately.

                      Hi team
                      I need your help to solve this issue. During this pandemic rbi has promised that there would be no charges that would be added by the bank. However citi bank has charged me the late fee and interest charges also.

                      All of the above there is no way to reach them or contact them. Its been almost 15 days but they send automated email but no reply to my questions

                      Please help.

                        This is to confirm that refund for amount 11627 rs has been successfully proceed on 5th april and it should reflect in my account by 15 april as per policy of bank but amount not reflect. Refund ref no 841386.
                        I placed order with total amount of rs 11627 from amazon by citibank credit card on 23 march 2020 by emi option, but due to lockdown my order was cancelled and amount has been refunded successfully on 5th april2020 but still emi is on which should be closed as per policy said by amazon, kindly close emi and also refund the charge levied.

                          I have recd sms from your side that credit cards dues will pay in may 2020 from feb. To may 2020 as per rbi guidelines due to covid-19.
                          But in your statement of march-april 2020 you have charged late fee and igst. Hence i hereby made payment "under protest".
                          Please waive the late fees and reverse the same in next month statement.

                          I have recd sms from your side that credit cards dues will pay in may 2020 from feb. to may 2020 as per RBI GUIDELINES due to COVID-19.
                          but in your statement of March-April 2020 you have charged late fee and igst. Hence I hereby made payment "UNDER PROTEST".
                          PLEASE waive the late fees and reverse the same in next month statement.

                            I am since last 5 years your credit card customer, i am regular payment of my bills. Regarding this card citi bank giving me second life time free credit card of number 3639.

                            In this card citi bank charged annual fees, while of giving card executive said me this is life time free card, so why annual fees charged??

                            Please i request to you waiver this annual charges as soon as possible.

                                4 days before, on 18-apr-2020, i recieved a message that my account got debited rs 4200.
                                The message was "purchase subject: mcupos 18apr0000 card no.: xxxxxxxxxxx 18apr20 163849 google *petr\1600 amphitheatre ref:[protected]"

                                But the amount did not debited from my account.
                                And yesterday (21-apr-2020), my transaction statement got updated like amount rs4200 debited. And the amout also really gone.

                                I m sure that i have not done any transaction on that day.

                                My citibank statement also updated like:
                                The transaction message is like "purchase subject: mcupos 18apr0000 card no.: xxxxxxxxxxx 18apr20 163849 google *petr\1600 amphitheatre ref:[protected]"

                                Kindly report me soon and refund the corresponding amount.

                                      The duedate was 02/04/20 and we have deposited the cheque dated on 30/03/20 so why the late fee and additional charges has been charged.so please reverse the payment of late fees and additional charges.
