My Citibank credit card number [protected] got expired on June 2020, and bank had issued new credit card ending with 0077 on my registered address but as I have moved to out of country since then I couldn’t receive new card. But I am receiving statements on new card numbers .So till Oct 2020 I was making payment through my bank account on old card([protected]) and it was accepting payment.

But January 2021 I tried to clear outstanding balance and made payment through my bank account but I got bounced back.
So from January I was unable to make payment, even I had word with one of Customer service they told me kindly raise your concern bank will waive off interest and fees whatever have been charged after January.but so far I have not got any revert from bank, no reply since last 2 years, only third party keep calling me for payments.My cibil score also got decreased because of this who is going to take that responsibility.

    On 2/28/23 I deposited a check into my savings account I received from one of my tenants. On 3/1/23 at 0630 I was able to pay a bill and log on to my account. At 1000 my account had been restricted and all access to my account was blocked. I contacted customer service to inquire about my account and was told it was restricted due to the deposit of a stolen check. I told them it was not stolen. He stated that it needed further investigation and call back in 24 hours. I have called and spoken to numerous customer service representatives to be told that they need to verify the check by the maker but every time she calls they tell her that the phone number she’s calling from is not in her name. They have already taken the funds from her bank but state that the check is unverified. They sent me an email on 3/2/23 stating that they are closing my account and no debits or credits can come through but they accepted my direct deposit on 3/6/23. They now have everything locked in an account and will not give it back for 30-60 days.

      I have never received credit card ([protected]) from Citi Bank and never used it. But here my overdue amount is showing as 699rs from long back. which is hampering my credit score. After calling several time to CITI bank they are not removing my overdue amount and not giving NOC. Harassing me so much. I need a NOC for this from CITI bank immediately.

        I added my CITI bank account to bank kyc in epfo portal. It's status is showing as verification under process. I need to complete this verification bit earl. Need Bank support on this.
        I visited my nearest branch and had a talk with customer care executive but didnt get proper response

          I have opened a brand new NRI account with Citibank India on January 3, 2023. Initially, my account didn’t have any money. I started setting up the ACH payment for remittance.

          Part 1 - ACH payment - I tried to setup the ACH payment last week on 1/9. On 1/11, my local USA bank processed by transacting $0.18 (debited and credited the same amount). I did not receive any notification or email to verify the initial transaction from either side of the bank. I saw the transaction at my local bank portal. I kept on calling Citibank to know the transaction status from Citibank end but with no avail. They kept on telling me your local USA bank should validate. Post local bank validation, I should be all set. I see my savings and checking account both are listed under my Citibank account listings but “REMIT NOW” button doesn’t work. It is in an inactive status. I cannot transfer money from USA bank to India bank.
          So, I called bank again, on 1/16, they told me - oh you missed the “Verify now” window to validate both the accounts that you registered with. Your both accounts that are listed under Citibank account is of no use. Because I didn’t click “Verify Now” button on time. How on earth I would know that something is waiting at my end to verify? No one told me when i was inquiring about that transaction status? There was no email, text or communication to me to notify that something needed to be verified at my end. In this case, ACH transaction was waiting for me to be verified.
          I logged in every single day to check for messages or email. I didn’t find any communication under my login! Now they are telling me, I missed clicking the “Verify now” button on time and now it’s too late?
          They then raised a ticket to now delete both the account (checking and savings) to start fresh. Now I need to go and create a new account to establish the connectivity with the USA bank to activate the ACH payment. Which means I need to wait for additional days to complete the process if everything works accurately to start using my account.

          Part 2 - I have activated my Debit card. My savings account has balance as one of my friends transferred fund to my account. Because my ACH payment setup is broken. I was trying several times to recharge my Airtel mobile number with the Citibank Debit card. Airtel charged amount is way less than what I have on my savings account right now. The online transaction would decline every single time. I called Citibank 10 times... every time 40/50 mins wait, and the issue is still not resolved. Many times, it so happened, when my call arrives to a point when I only have 1 min left to get on the line to talk to the Customer Rep, my call would simply disconnect!!! C’mon guys!!

          The answers that I have received over my several attempts to speak to a rep:
          1) First, they said, I have no money in my account, that's why debit card is not working. Deposit some money on the account, card will start working.
          2) My friend transferred some money. Customer Rep says Oh, you have money now? we have requested to lift the block on your card. Wait for couple of hours and try again. If card doesn't work, then call us back again.
          3) Card didn't work after 12 hours. I called again. This time the answer is your ACH payment process didn't take place hence debit card will stay blocked.
          Seriously? WHY?
          4) Another employee called and told me in between that – I don’t have a KYC; I didn’t submit the Axis merger consent. All of them were given as part of my brand-new account creation. Later, they realized that part at least, called me and apologized for the miscommunication.

          I'm frustrated to the limit!!

          Worst part is every call the customer rep would say something different to me. Every single time!!! No consistency to the answers that i receive on my problem statements. Every single call, a different answer!!! Employees do not even know the common rules of their system before they can guide their customers accurately. It’s extremely frustrating. They are severely lacking training to handle customer service !!!

          Bottom Line on TOP - My ACH payment link is broken; My Remit button doesn’t work. I cannot transfer money from my USA back to Citibank India. My Debit card doesn’t work as it is blocked. I cannot add a Payee to my list to pay out fund even though I have a balance. Add Payee feature is blocked, Everything is declining on me.

            This is in regards with the issue that I'm facing since from a very long time. I was trying to load the money to my Airtel wallet account. I used my Citibank account for this activity. However, the transaction couldn't be succesfull and when I spoke about the same to Citibank, they told me the amount has been successfully debited to the beneficiary account which is Airtel in this case and then I spoke to Airtel payments bank customer care about it, they said the issue is caused by the Citibank and not them. It's almost about 2 weeks now, still haven't got resolutions for the same and when I initiate the conversation with Airtel they blame Citibank and the same with Citibank they blame Airtel. It's going on a loop since from a very long time. Please help me with this issue. I request you to take strict action on both Airtel and Citibank for there hopeless services.

              During Deepavali Amazon offer, I placed order on New 5G Mobile Phone
              with exchange offer using, NO COST OF EMI FROM CITIBANK ORDER NO[protected] Dated 19/10/2022 and subsequently cancelled the order. The merchant refunded money back to Citibank card on 24/10/2022.

              December statement showing the EMI of Rs 8366.46 plus int and CGST and SGST

              I called the Citi Credit card section, but there is answer is EMI is reflecting the statement means I have to pay even though money is refunded by marchant

              Please help me to sort it out the issue

              Are the telling you that the credits recieved are not settled against the min due amount?

                Hello Sir/Madam,

In this case it was not possible because it was not wire transfer. I requested my Canadian bank to do investigation they did all things they can, they provided investigation report too but from citi bank side i always getting same message just about TT copy or MT103 apart from that they never said anything once they asked me
                1) Remitter Reference, Value dated and amount.
                2) Transaction reference (Starts with G ref or K ref).
                3) 5 digit WL Client ID
                I provided this all details still they send me email saying that Upon investigation, our team has confirmed that we would be unable to trace the funds without the MT103 copy. So i dont know whats wrong with these people they just dont want to resolve issue. I am attaching all emails and investigation report from my scotia bank which clearly mentioned all transfer details. I never got any investigation report or any details about research by citibank about transaction on their part except same email. So far from last more than 2 years i am communicating through emails with citibank but they send same reply they send me in there very first email. if i required i can provide every single email i send to them.
                I am really hoping to get help from this platform.

                  Compared to all other bank they are CITI really best but only draw back is they never call back they never reply on calls for the concern.
                  i have been waited for whole day for their update and to give update bank doesnt have time.
                  i understand bank is having many other work to but which you promise to do you have to stick on it.
                  there is a difference between 24 hours and date 24th. in call its communicated as 24 hours especially by evening 7 i will get a call back their senior supervisor will call back but that 24 hour or that 7 PM didn't happen only.

                  its been 48 hours where bank least bothered to response for e mails and not able to connect through phono support agent.
                  even if we call definitely they wont provide the update and will get back in 24 hours is not resolution where do you know you will not come back.
                  Your apologies and 100 really sorry for the inconvience caused wont change the story. need support not your sorry.
                  i do know you guys are working on issue and how and what you working? which stage it is? we want to know we dont have any extra super power to see our own need proper communication.

                  if not why they cant even reply to e mails and calls not able to connect.

                    Hi I'm highly aggrieved by Citibank regarding credit card amount no proper settlement and everyday torture from Citibank call center people. Because of this amount my Siebel score has been decreased now I'm in a big trouble and financial crisis earlier my siebel was very good because this credit card issue no banks are providing loans to me. Call center people Sometimes they say one amount next day another employee will increase whatever comes to their mouth they are increasing amount. Many emails sent no managerial level person is contacting. No proper settlement everyday torture. please save me from this call center torture. They are wasting our time.I lost many loans because of this issue. I hope at least i get some proper resolution on this from you.

                      I have been Citibank's customer from more than 10 years and this is HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING act that they have blocked/frozen my Salary account without even a single call/message communication.

                      I don't have words to define the tragedy that I am going through because of such an incautious act from the team/person. The respective team did not even follow the proper RBI guidelines to reach out the Account holder or at least get an acknowledgement and consent before Blocking the account.

                      This is really embarrassing that Citibank would have such policies or people in departments who take these decisions without thinking about the consequences a common person would face.
                      I am not much hopeful but still requesting if someone can understand this irresponsible behavior and work on my query asap.

                      I will share further account details and facts in further communication.

                        My credit card with Citibank no [protected] is closed 2 years back. I have the closure letter and the confirmation that it is closed. Still i keep getting statements at my address mentioning that I have to pay dues. Kindly get this sorted.

                            I ordered a Laptop through Amazon using EMI option with CITI Bank Credit card and paid 32506.4 rs but Amazon did not delivered the product and refunded the amount 32506.4 rs back to my CITI Bank account. And as per Amazon the EMI should be auto closed in this case but CITI bank is not closing the EMI and asking me to pay 30000 rs extra to force close the EMI. I am unable to understand why they are asking me to pay extra 30000 to close the EMI whereas the amount which was deducted from CITI Bank account has been already refunded back.

                                When card is offered it was mentioned it was free. But when I checked my cibil score it is showing pending amount for city credit card though i have not used this card.

                                  Dear Sir/Ma’am,
                                  This is in relation to overdue balance shown as payable by Citi Bank against the Citi Bank Credit Card no. “[protected]” on CIBIL Score Portal.
                                  In this regard, I would like to mention that the above-mentioned Citibank credit card was issued in Nov 2017, wherein, I have not done any transaction on this credit card till date.
                                  Also, I have applied for closer of this card in past. However, the bank has not closed the credit card and charged annual maintenance fee year-on-year basis, which is now shown as outstanding for INR 1556/- as on date.
                                  Further, I would also like to mention that said credit card was expired in Jan 2020. I have tried calling Citi bank credit card Customer care department several times, but they are not entertaining the call as credit card is expired as on date.
                                  Considering the above, to clear outstanding payment of INR 1556/-, I have also made following payment on expired credit card as under:

                                    I made a purchase from Turkish Airlines online and cancelled within hours. I only got a partial refund from them. It seems my credit card company, Citi Bank, , is not very strong in this department and i will close my card at the end of the promotion of 0% without making any more charges. I have more seroius cards that have not let me down.
