I too came across the same issue. They taken 20+days to fix it. :-(

    I am senior citizon.i have request to 60000/- to convert 12emis. you have converted that amt in 12emis and also you have told the rs 5674amt of each emi. i have recieved first emi of rs4634/- charges rs225/-. at the of second i have recievd information emi rs 5674/- and charges rs 524/-.At the of time of emi no information given reg service tax.my credit no [protected].iwant to pre closure of my emi due to wrong charges.so please pre close this account and inform the preclosue amt .

    I've applied for credit card online with application no [protected] and submitted the required documents 10 days ago, while i was told that the card will reach to me within 7 working days, i haven't receive any call for verification and when i check the application status, it shows documents collection pending. What is the solution?

      I had taken a loan on Citi Bank Credit Card and had requested for pre-clouser on 13th Oct were as my statement generation was on 15th Oct agent said they will take the pre-clouser request post the statement generation. On 17th Oct call the customer care and got the final figure and transferred the amt on the same day which was communicated to the agent (which included 3 days adv. interest payment) but when check in Nov account is still showing as Load still active, then called the customer care on 13th Nov, they had taken the request [Req. No. 5917] and closed till that time amt which i paid was laying in the credit card account. In Nov bill they are charging the Interest for the whole month, saying we haven't received any confirmation from your side so, we were holding the amount and they are not willing to reverse the interest amount, pre-clouser was above 5Lac's which is not small amount.

        I had requested to your phone banking officer for waiver of the penalty and interest charges towards late payment, which was agreed . But in the current bill there is no indication of these reversal, which is quite surprising.

        Would once again request to honour your committment towards reversal of the penalty and interest charges.

          I recently cleared my outstanding credit card bill with a payment of 57800Rs
          I received a e-statement again that I have still 1200Rs due left.

          I want the citi bank management to know that I am in Canada right now and I did'nt even use the credit card here..Then why fooling the customers with new bill?
          I man you guys gave me the last month e-statement which said 57, 600 due.I added 200Rs extra and asked my uncle to go to ur bank and pay it there directly and he payed it and now you issue me a e-statement again that I still have 1200Rs due..I dont undestand why is this bill issued and I want to know it immediately.Followig is the e-statement..

But now I am receiving the message that the credit card (NEW) will be sent in the Hyderabad address and in Hyderabad address I will not be available and the address is changed to Tamil Nadu.               Hi,

              Iam an nri and holding fixed deposits in citibank nri account.
              However today morning 11/11/2016 after logging in i can't find the deposits which i placed.
              I requested the customer care however they said it takes 2 days to provide resolution.
              Holding deposits and not able to see is really frustating.
              I really advise to take necessary action on citibank and request all the customers to avoid using citi nri.

                I had a loan availed against my Citibank Credit Card. The EMI gets charged against my credit statements. My EMI gets paid through payments to my credit card account. I have been having this loan for about 2 years now. I had some excess funds and wanted to pre close my citibank credit card loan. I made payments for the remaining amount including pre closure charges to my credit card account and requested citibank to close the loan.

                Strangely Citibank says, the excess payment I made cannot be adjusted against the loan. I can only adjust it against my credit card spends. So now I am forced to use the excess cash (intended to close my loan) only to do new purchases and continue to pay interest on the loan, which I wished to close. Even after repeated request they say it cannot be done. This is unfair. Citibank officials say that only way to preclose the loan is that I have to call citibank call center and make a request to preclose the loan. Which means I need to pay interest for atleast another month while my money for preclosing the loan is already with citibank.

                Please note -
                This loan is availed against credit card.
                All payments to this account is done only through credit card payments.
                I have already made payment for the remaining amount + interest + pre closure charges to my credit card account and requested them to pre-close. But they say that I cannot do that and I have to continue to keep the loan and implicitly keep paying interest.

                  I got a call from CITI Bank on July 2015 regarding loan, and they told me to pay 25k to insurance based on insurance we wil offer 5Lakh, after that 25k + 15k for CITI Bank account opening again 40k for account opening again 26500 for dealer code remove again 31k + 30k remove, after this you have done two time so told me to pay one time 61k, again 15k to remove the dealer code and finally 15k to release the amount, so totally I have paid 283499 again thy asked me to 80k, I have not done till today I have not got any updates and thus # are not working [protected] & [protected] Rohit [protected] Sandeep, Requesting you to pls help to get my amount back.

                    Fraud transaction happened on 11-oct-16 citibank card, rs 6, 500.00 was spent on your credit card 4386xxxxxxxx2801 on 11-oct-16 at ebay india paisa pa.
                    I never done this transaction however i asked to citibank people they told me to contact ebay to get more information about your transaction like, what was the product and what shipping address given for that, and if possible to cancel the transaction. Citibank gave me the transaction reference number : 437285

                    However, i sent a email to ebay people asking about this transaction details, so i have received the below email from ebay

                    This is with regards to your recent interaction with our customer support team about the status of your missing payment transaction.

                    We have checked our records and can confirm that the transaction was rejected by the gateway due to technical issue. So you have to contact your issuing bank for your missing transaction they will assist you better for the same.

                    OMG again i got a call from citibank [protected], his name is sandeep jain. I am very much sure again this guy simply making fraud call to me asking just login to www.bankyfaciliy.in site in order to get your claim.

                    Please citibank people do something and take some serious action to the same.

                    Still I am waiting for the response .. again i got a fraud call on 7th Nov 2016 from [+91 [protected]], She is saying i am calling from citibank and since you raised complain against citibank for your dispute transaction 6, 500 rs, however we are going to revert your all the money in your card before that could you please provide me all the card details including your card number, date of birth, expiry date and cvv number.

                    Once she asked me these details then i informed her saying that citibank people can't ask my cvv number for anything however i understood this is the fraud call.

                    I don't know what's going on here... here i have highlighted my card details and transaction details then fraud people are getting information and calling me and asking all the details.

                    Citibank please resolve my issue orelse i need to stop using citibank card.

                      I Sri Suman Roy, a credit card holder ([protected]) of your bank. This is a letter to lodge complain about my credit card bill which has not reached to me till date.

                      The bill date is 4th November 2016 and to clear the bill I need to receive the hard copy of the bill to get the information on the amount of money to be paid. Though I have got that information through SMS from bank. But then also I need to receive the hard copy.

                        I have requested for a Citi Bank credit card. But they denied my application after collecting all the details from me. They called and get all my personal informations over phone and now they are telling, they cannot proceed with applications. I tried calling citibank customer care service and wanted to talk to an agent. They kept me on hold for almost 20 minutes. After that they themselves dicsonnected my call.

                        Citibank is such a WORST SERVICE PROVIDER. Guys, Do not go for Citibank products.

One more account ready credit account was opened by citibank without any prior intimation and now in CIBIL CITIBANK has updated that for that ready credit account there is an amount of 6k due. That amount earlier never being told about and not about account also.

                            1. I have take personal loan of 10, 00000 on Nov 30 2015 and they deducted first EMI on 1 st Dec 2015, with in one day they deducted EMI.
                            When i approached them they told me with in 48 hrs amount will be credicted.
                            But i called 6 times in 10 days but haven't seen any response from them, but when i got final personal approval call they told me my first EMI Date will be Jan 1 2016 but they deducted on Dec 1st only.
                            I called many times but same response, what to do ?

                                Hi Guys,

                                When i went to open the salary account in citibank in my office, the rep advised me to enroll the insurance which will give fixed 8.5% of interest, and this policy is specially for corporate employees only enrolled while opening the new salary account. and it has 3 years surrender period. I enrolled this bajaj life insurance account (EMI of rupees 1500) along with my CITI bank salary account in IBM, I'm paying last four years, while casually searching about the policy in google to surrender, i got this link, and now i'm completely shocked to know the return values everyone mentioned above.

                                And i called to Bajaj life insurance and asked what is my current fund value
                                They have told that i have paid 72000 till now, and 7741 is administration charge and my current fund value is 68682.

                                Also they are telling first year 25% is admin charge, 2 year onwards 6% is the admin charges. But the interest what they will pay is 1.25% per year. Then i asked that means every year I pay should i loose 5% of my invested money guaranteed . And she replied happily yes, that is the policy agreement given to you.

                                This is completely cheating, and why should one invest for a loss, and which never gives me the money what we pay. Even LIC convers life insurance and returns close to 3 times of money we paid after 15 years.

                                I asked will i get at-least what i paid, if i continue the policy for another 5 or 10 years, she said no. you will never get it. I'm wondering why does the reputed bank like CITI misguided to enroll without saying any of this details,

                                  In March 2016 credit card statement I have been charged for transaction which i have not swiped.

                                  Details:
                                  13/02 [protected] ALFREDOS THANE 2968.00

                                  I have never visited such place till date.

                                  I have been seeking details of charge slip with my signature since March 2016 from Citibank which it has failed to provide.

                                  I am concerned for interest and late fee being charged every month in my further statements and amount has increased upto 3540/- now.

                                  Citibank wrote to me twice -
                                  1.letter 1 stating please find attached the chargeslip, which was never there with the letter.

                                  2. Phone came communicating apology for letter w/o attachment.

                                  3. Second letter that charge slip not possible since it is PIN transaction.

                                  How there can be a PIN transaction when I have not visited that place.

                                  Kindly resolve this by taking it up with Citibank.

                                      I would like to inform you that i have paid all the installments in time and there is no due towards the payment of emi. As per the statement issued by you for the period 07 jul 2004 to 29 aug 2011, the dues shown in the statement are 24136.00.
                                      However, whole amount is paid by us and there are no dues. Even as per your letter dtd. 01 march 2016, the net amount due is 20273.00.
                                      All these figures are not relevant as per our records. Kindly check our records and you will find that all the emis are paid in time.
                                      I have visited your baroda branch several times for the settlement of this account but till date there is no amicable solution from your side.
                                      In view of this i would like to request you to look into the matter, and find some way out for the settlement of the account and also i request to return back all my original documents after settlement of the account.
                                      I am also sending this copy to rbi also for timely settlement of the account, because i am very much tired of the letters received from you and feel harassed due to non settlement of the account.

                                        I have submitted my documents before 2 week to apply for a new credit card of citibank.
                                        Still i dint get any card from their side.
                                        They give me wrong commitments that your card will start in one week, but i call to citibank executive for a know status about my card so they don't take my call and never give me response of my call / message.

                                        I worry about the misuse of my personal documents.

                                        They are not telling me the appropriate reason for asking this issue
