Dear Sirs/Madam,
Appreciable service from CITI bank till last two months but unfortunately since last two months money is deducted from my account since the balance is < 1.0 lac. But I have never declared to maintain such balance anyway if there is any process to change it please do it since I have retired and would
not be possible to maintain such balance.
Please reply the mail since nobody is responding to calls.

    I am Sanket Lunge ([protected])
    Two weeks back your executive "Shruti" called me for citi bank corporate credit card.
    I gave her my proofs and photo. As per our communication i was supposed to get credit card confirmation call from citi bank. But i didn't get any call. also on 25/05/16 suddenly i receive credit card delivered message which i haven't received. On 26-05-16 i blocked the card.

    But here i want to bring your notice that it big security gap point.
    1. No credit card confirmation call.
    2.You delivered my card to wrong person.
    3.Who will be responsible if card missused

    Now going further due to security reason i don't want to continue ant relation with citi bank.
    Citibank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    After raising complain quickly got call from [protected] number but that man disconnected the call inbetween without listening me...looks you don't respect customer..

      This issue is few years old as I was a customer with Citibank, due to some personal reasons I had to quit job and go back to my hometown, and due to the reason I could not afford it as well I sent request to cancel the card, but was not done for which I got to knew after 4 years when I came back to capital and tried applying for the new card.

      I have been trying to contact them and get issue resolved as to what happen, due to the fact issue is quite old I am unable to find any correspondence for same.

      I need serious help here.

        I have been using the citibank credit card for 5 years, I use to pay minimum bill on or before due date and rest use to clear before next bill generated.

        In feb 2016 statement I got charged for that and then I called and informed they reversal the same and informed to clear total payment before or on due date.

        After a month I have received a notification that interest charges can be levied on your account or card if you paid minimum due amount on or before due date. to test that I have paid minimum and clear remaining before next bill, In my next bill they charged almost 5K extra. which I don't want to pay.

        I didn't get any call, email from the bank and the interest charged was not reversal. But it was marked as resolved here. It was not resolved.

          I taken the personal loan in july 15 & i paid emi regularly up to may 16. And also i paid all oustanding amount rs.5752229.00 with tax & interest & also prepamnent charges on dated 10th may 2016. Citibank bank commited to me bank will be send a closing llatter after clear cheque & draft. As per my bank statement both are cleared & credited. But till date ciitibank not provide me a latter or no due certificate. Pls give the tell me why it is late. When we give the late payment bank is take the panulty. Pls i want my personal loan closing latter. Pls do the neccessory.

            Hi,

            This complaint is to address how hdfc bank and citi bank are harassing me.

            Background:
            I took personal loan of rs 55000 in 2014 from hdfc bank. The hdfc loan account number is rs 27867221. As agreed the emi rs 1266 was supposed to be deducted automatically under ecs from my salaried account which is citi bank. The ecs mendate was rejected due to signature mismatch. Due to my busy schedule i could not follow up with the bank until may 2015. But in the meanwhile i paid the emi via billdesk. With great difficulty i managed sometime and on 15th may 2015, i went to citi bank and got my signature verified. Also, submitted a copy of verified signature with the hdfc bank, sahakarnagar branch. The ecs mandate was approved and the loan amount of rs 1266 towards personal loan account number : 27867221 went through successfully. However, in the month of july, i again got a message on my mobile stating that the ecs mandate has been rejected. I raised so many requests with hdfc bank and citi bank but none of the banks taking the ownership of resolving this issue.

            Hdfc have told that they are not responsible as there is problem with my salaried bank which is citi bank. Citi bank have confirmed that there is something wrong with hdfc side. But both the banks agree that ecs mendate was approved in the month of may 2015 and emi of rs1266 was deducted automatically.

            I have few action items for both hdfc and citi banks.

            1) how many times does a customer submit ecs mendate? If the ecs was approved and emi was deducted in the month of may 2015, why are you harassing me and charging me the ecs mendate reject charges for no mistake of mine.

            2) i am plannning to close this loan now, but i am not ready to pay the charges which hdfc levied for ecs rejection.

            3) both hdfc and citi bank need to do an extensive investigation and come up with facts as to where the issue is.

            I am sick and tired of following up with the banks. Never expected such disgusting service from banks claiming to be the best in the market. If there is any shame left, do take some ownership and try to solve the issue asap. I want both the banks to coordinate and get this sorted instead of asking me to follow up.

            I am not sure where the problem is. In the Month of May 2015, I visited the Citi bank got my signature verified and also submitted a copy of the same with HDFC, Sahakarnagar. The signature mismatch issue was sorted long back but again HDFC is highlighting that they have received a mail confirmation from vinoth2.[protected]@citi.com that there is signature mismatch. Please look into it on priority.

              I am an Citi Bank a/c holder, while working in 3G - Malad Mumbai in Yr. 2010, I had started a Citi salary acct which aft leaving the org., was converted into savings acct, from last yr every month I am being charged Rs. 700/- for non maintaining a min balance of 1 Lakh p/m.
              Today's Times of India - Business section carry's information saying that bank should not be charging such amounts. I already spoke to customer service without any help or reply on the same.
              I would kindly like your help on this ridiculous charges getting scraped from my account.

                I would like to inform that i used cti bank atm card to withdrawa amount inr 10, 000 from punjab national bank atm machine on 12 mar 2016. This atm is located in sector 51, hpcl petrol pump, noida (Gautam budh nagar). Due to some technical fault, machine could not withdraw money but at the same time amount got debited from my citi bank account. I called citi bank immediately and notified the event. They told me that amount will be credited back to your account as your transaction was not successful.

                They also done the investigation and told me that transaction was successful.

                Now i am following them for the 2 months but they are not helping me out.

                I also visited to punjab national bank. They are also helpless.

                  This is the worst credit card i ever used. I tried to pay Minimum amount due on due date. Payment was rejected by CITI people and levied Rs.700 for unknow reason. When i contact for the same, i got irresponsible and irrelevant answer saying becoz of ICICI bank payment bounced. So i requested for reversal of charges as there is no mistake from my side. They denied for that. To avoid all this, i directly approach bank paid all the amount in cash form. Stupid thing is again they charge Rs.250 for cash processing charges. Don't use this card. They have less brances and less business and so maximum they are grabbing from their few cusomers. I going to surrender card and advising all you people be aware of all hidden charges and best is to avoid this CITY BANK CREDIT CARD.

                    I have raised request for new ATM Card/Pin on 20 April 2016 since my existing card got tempered.
                    I received the ATM card via Blue dart. However didn't receive my ATM pin.Since i did not get any updates i called the citibank helpdesk
                    and they gave me reference num ex[protected]in and told me that it was dispatched via speed post. I didn't any intimation from the post office.
                    On visting the same on 29 April(infotech hinjewadi post office, pune) i came to know that they have misplaced my document.
                    I already raised complaint with Indian Post (Complaint Num:[protected]). I reapplied for the ATM Pin and this time it was coming from Bluedart([protected] ).
                    Its been endless wait of two weeks now and iam yet to receive the ATM Pin.
                    I have salary account in citibank since last 8 years. Would appreciate a quick resolution as I am not able to use my card or internet banking

                        My salary account has been locked the day before i was traveling to other state. I went to withdraw money from atm and got error: temporary failure. I checked my mail to understand the issue. And found a mail in last 17 hrs stating that my account has been locked as mail was undelivered to preferred mailing address. My address was still valid and not sure why it did not reach to me. I called customer care help desk. What a customer care service from citibank!! He keep me on hold many times stating that he is transferring the call to manager and later after 5/10 min he informed that there is no manager to attend the call. I even informed that that account should not be locked as it is a salary account and my mailing address is still valid. The response was to upload the document again and it would take 4/5 working days. What should i do till that time? Do you care about that??
                        I have no money and was traveling to another state other day. Only one branch is there that is too far from my working place. It was a frustrating moment for me. I send couple of mails but there is always a auto generated mail stating that my query would be resolved in 4/5 days!!! What would i do till that time?????? I need to withdraw my money. I have provided my employers certificate stating my employment is still valid and insisted that citi bank can verify my official mail communication address. I even submitted the hr letter for my present address ( i have stepped into my new home on feb last 2016). Not only that i uploaded all the other relevant document - postpaid broadband connection bill ( as a proof for my current residential address) and also the registration certificate of my new home. Note that my current mailing official address is still valid!! I called customer care many times...I was kept on hold many times and the same reply they tried to contact me but could not. I asked to call me many times if not reachable 1 time. Not only that every time i wanted to talk to senior management, i was kept on hold for long and reply was same " no manager is available" . Why does they pay for then????? What they do??????
                        Does they feel the pain ?? The urgency when a customer is calling from another state?????? Have spend more money calling those stupid people but hardly there was any solution!! While i was traveling a got a call from citi officer
                        Stating that i need to submit the govt address proof for my official mailing address proof!!! Huh?????????????? I work in an mnc, and how come i can provide a govt address proof for my office address?????? I have no way but shout with frustration!!! If you don't understand the pain of a customer then there is no point continuing a service!!! A cheap service i would say!!! Citi bank never reply to customer problem!! What if i am unreachable??? What if my balance becomes 0 as i am roaming??? Their only reply is that they tried to reach but found unreachable!! Is this the service we are looking for????? Today again, i have provided scan copy of voter id ( permanent address proof), pan card, postpaid broadband connection of my new home address, hr letter stating my new home address, registration copy of my new home..Hr letter stating my employment till date...
                        I am in another state, still i tried to manage to provide all the documents. Should i again wait for another 4-15 days????????
                        Then i should say..."good bye citi" i don't want your service anymore!!! I am going to post this story in facebook as well.The world should know!!

                              Dear sir,


                              this is vamshi, my suvidha savings account number is [protected] and this is active since 6 years,

                              I recently travelled to Lagos Nigeria and update my mobile number +[protected] to the bank .


                              the issue is I got an sms on 13th April that Citibank has blocked my account on security reasons . I called the support and updated that iam travelling on 14th April back to banglore to India and had to pay my bills so they raised a request to unblock it ( RFC[protected] and assured me that I will be supported . I had to wait for around 4 hours and I had no response then I called Citibank again and they said they will arrange call back from the manager (NSR[protected] and I was under tremendous pressure as I had to pay my hotel bills and had to leave on 14th to India . I did not get a call or even normal response instead I was given insane and rubbish answers by your support team

                              you can understand my position when I was running every corner for getting my account activated in order to pay my hotel bills . I didn't even receive call from Citi bank support as assured . finally my colleague paid my bills and I reached india . after coming back india I contacted citi bank customer care they also committed that I will receive a call back from their manager, but in vain I didn't even receive call or SMS from Citibank till now

                              when I approached my company EMC hr, they advised me to go for legal action as they are large requests from emc employees to change their salary account to ICICI bank because of poor customer support from Citi .


                              till now I didn't receive call from Citibank .


                              I am waiting for your reply on this

                                Today 28 unauthorized transactions have happened with my citi debit card number at gurgaon. I am only holding the debit card and not shared with anyone else, but all these below unauthorized transactions have happened at gurgaon near delhi, india.
                                Below are the lists of transactions. Amount of rs 71999/- got deducted from my debit card. I got my card deactivated by calling citi toll free number. This deactivation happened only after the amount of rs 71999/- got wiped from my card.
                                I checked online and to my surprise complete amount got wiped out from savings account. I am much tensed now and so pls look into the matter on high emergency to recover the complete amount of rs 71999 to my savings account. Once again confirm that i havenot shared my debit card/pin/password to anybody else and i am only holding the debit card
                                I am staying at uppal, hyderabad, india but all these transaction happened at gurgaon, near national capital delhi, india. These transactions started 2:14 am india time. Sms messages keep pouring to my mobile as the unauthorized transaction happen at gurgaon.
                                Today and tomorrow holiday in india and can't reach to nearby citibank branch begumpet india to lodge the complaint. Also, i took utmost precaution not to share my debit card / pin/ password details to anybody but still all these 28 fraud unauthorized transactions have happened. Debit card is with me only.
                                Pls raise an alarm and escalate this matter to the highest level, investigate and see that the deducted amount get credited to my citi bank account number immediately
                                Also if we carefully observe below transactions, the date of transaction is 15th april but today's date is 14th april. I don't have any money now in my savings account and pls look into the issue on very high priority immediately and see that the amount get refunded to my savings account

                                Citibank — Cheap service

                                I set up a standing order on my citibank credit card for it to be automatically paid through my bank account on the due date which did not happen, because of which i was charged a late fee of 700 and my CIBIL report was also impacted

                                  Sir,
                                  Myself, m. Pamodh kumar, applied online through citibank payment gateway. Amount of rs.211.45 have been debited from my account, but transaction have failed. Date of incident is 08/04/2016. I request for the company to credit the amount as soon as possible.

                                    To all senior case managers citibank greivance cell department i am a respected doctor from india and my name is dr sanjeev varma i hold a citigold account together with my wife dr sunita varma (Prime holder) and sanchit varma with account no.-[protected] my citigold world card no.Is-ending 5307, i am a frequent traveller and am in canada and usa since 01oct2015 the debitcardending 5307 was used sparingly only for few smaller transactions of rs[protected]/-only as your records will show i travelled with peace of mind relying and trusting citibank secure banking system but to my dismay and shock on 15th oct) at 7.19 pm while i was in sparta newjersey (With my card in my physical possession) i got a series of sms messages intimating me o[censored]se of this card at a single particular place (Jorneyey1315 bro) with 5 transactions incurred within 20 mins of amount varying between rs 15, 764.06 to rs 29, 248.53 with a total amount of rs 115987.82/-( more than one lac fifteen thousand) i acted immediately and called the international citibank number and talked to a mr partha and in fact while i was on the phone the last two fraudulent transaction of amount rs 29248.53 /-and rs 26663.97/- took place and then my card was deactivated at my request i was given the reference number for my query as -[protected] and dispute claim no.-sreff15046784 as is amply clear from above facts it's fraudulent transactions and i am sure your investigating team will reveal these are clearly fraudulent transactions on my card used without my permission and strangely bypassing all the promised security processes that a customer is entitled to . I am personally not only financially affected (It's a huge amount) but my trust and faith in citibank is shaken there points are self evident that citibank should have exercised more dilligence before authorisation for these repeated unusually large transactions were given. A few points- 1) the card was not lost or misplaced and was in my physical possession throughput so how has it been used fraudulently 2) after the first transaction of amount rs 15764.06/- why were the subsequent repeated transactions of such unusually huge amount authorised without the customer getting any notification 3) thankfully i was not asleep and on receiving the sms indicating fraudulent usage, i was able to immediately notify citibank and get my card blocked, but what if i was asleep or unable to receive the sms why there were no internal measures and red flag warnings generated by citibank to prevent misuse i am a professional and expect a early andsatisfactory resolution of this issue as a citibank and mastercard holder it's my customer right to be protected and compensated against this obvious fraudulent card use.                                       I tried to transfer amount of 20K to my own ICICI account. However, from citibank account it got transferred to the account which is not mine, due to typo error in account number. Account name is not verified & got transferred.
                                      I am taking followup since 17th November 14, however I didnt received amount back to me.

                                        My credit card payment due date is 4th April, but the minimum due amount was deducted from my account on 3rd April. And I paid 100% due payment on 3rd April . than why the extra charges apply on my credit card . please refund the amount deduced incorrectly .

                                        Also after deduction of money and 100% payment, in account statement the payment date is mentioned as 4th April which should be 3 April as I did the payment on 3rd April.

                                        For the past two days I am getting OTP on my mobile which I have neither asked nor performed any transactions in any POS using my credit card. Yesterday, I have complained about this to the City phone banking officer. Still, I have received another OTP today. Kindly verify this to protect my card from any possible misuse.

                                        Tried to call on customer care but no response . Not expected this from citi bank .
