I applied a citi bank credit card . They wrongly updated my phone number on the address and i am unable to get the CITI bank credit card. when i called the courier services they said that bank updated Phone number wrongly . When i called them their response is very harsh, they said i entered wrongly while entering the application. If entered wrongly how can i get a verification call for the card..

    I used my HDFC ATM card to withdraw Rs.2, 000/- at Citi bank, on 03/03/2017 at 17:19, But money was not dispensed. I received the slip with SER No.009266 stating "0614 Dispenser failure". But the money was debited on 03/03/201. I request you to kindly arrange to get back Rs.2, 000/- .

      Dear Citibank,

      I am not citibank account holder but i am frequently getting calls from your customer support team (credit card sales team i believe from mobile numbers). I have put my number on DND.

      so firstly, even after putting my number in Do not disturb - DND, i am getting a call from Citibank for credit card and secondly after listening patiently to your sales team false promises, after taking my documents for second times, it has been rejected twice.

      Hence requesting CITIBANK to not to call me further or else i have to take strict action for the same. This is serious mental harassment from customer point of view.

        Hi i was using Citibank credit card. And as always had submitted an advance cheque in there drop box. I don't know how but they lost the cheque. I got a call from there end on next day of the due date. I paid the payment through neft. Thereafter i called as well as emailed the customer care ample of times regarding the matter but no resolution was taken out. Now they have made a bill of 15000 out of that late fee n interest on it. Moreover the company is just making misuse of cibil score n blackmailing for it on daily basis. Kindly help as it's just a mental torture for us and no regulations for the safety of basic consumer.

        I am not able to perform any transactions with my credit card. Also not able to login to my account. Please check and update. Very urgent. I am facing the issue since yesterday. This is causing many problems. Otherwise i should choose other options.

              This is Mohammed Asim Nawab holding a salaried account [protected] with you people from the month of Feb 2016, i hereby write an email to inform and escalate about few things i faced from Citi bank credit card department and dint get a resolution but just got false commitments and just a negative and a rude response from your downstream, here is the clear conversation below, [protected] is the reference number for the credit card application and contact number is [protected]. I had applied for credit card probably after 2 months from the day i opened an account in your bank and it got rejected due to internal cretirea and policies and i was really fine with that, after few months i got a call from the citi bank sales deparrtment asking me if i was intersted in having a credit card from the citi bank and i went through the procedure of accepting the terms and conditions and was on a call for more than an hour and i was informed that i will be getting credit card in few days and after that i dint get any kind o[censored]pdate and i was waiting like a stupid and i had to call and find out that my card was rejected and i got to know that they had just sent an simple email about that, i was really not happy with that beacuse i got credit crad from other banks with whom i dont even have the account, but still every bank differs and i respect your protocols but still this was not the way, this was the past, again i got a call from the sales team on Jan 2017 asking me if i want the credit card, i told the person clearly what happend and i told him that i really dont want to get disappoint again by the same procedure and the person told me that this time it wont be rejected and its been APPROVED sir, i got a bit hope and i told him clearly that if i get a credit card from citi bank i will be happy and i just want to keep 1 credit card and cancel the other bank credit card and when i spoke about the limit, he told me that i will be getting a good limit than what the other banks have offered me and i went through the same procedure for an hour and he told me that an executive will be coming to collect the documents in 5 days and i got a message on my phone that an executive will be coming in 7 days to collect the documents, and i was getting credit card from ICICI bank which i applied to buy an Iphone 7 as i had broke my phone and as i got to know that i will be getting a credit card from citi and was assured by your sales represntative i canceled the application from the ICICI and was waiting for 7 days with the documnets for your executive but no one showed up and i called again reaching the agent and got to know that it was rejected again and was really pissed and unhappy about that and i had to speak to a seniour about this and i spoke to many people and i dont everyones name i am sorry, i reached grevience officer Mr.Anthony and to be frank he was kind of rude to me and i asked him to listen to the call and get back to me with the rsolution and i asked for the compensation for my loses, if i would not get a call from citi bank i would have a Iphone 7 by now and he told me that calls are not recorded and lied to me and he had taken 3 days time to response and i asked him for his seniour and he told me that my seniour will give the same response, my question is what is the difference between him and his seniours then, he is not suppose to speak in that way being in a bank profession and i asked for escalation and i got his seniour and i dont remember her name and she heard everything from me and took 3 days time and came back to me and she tells me that the call has been recorder and i was just getting sorry from everyone nothing else and was on a call for atleast an hour with each one and she tells me that she heard the call and when i asked her questions she was blank because she was lieing to me, she had got email about the call from back end, why cant she be honest and tell the truth and i asked for escalations again and i got 1 more lady who again heard everything and took time again and called me asking me something again she told sir i will call you back in 10 mins and dint get a call for 2 days and i called again reaching the agent, explaining everything anf i got in touch with Ms. Cicil Talwankar from mumbai who told me that she is the highest point of contact and heads the escalation department and explained her everything and again she took time and got back to me and the lady who told who will call be in 10 mins called me after 2 days asking me so many sorry and i explained her how hard it is to reach her and going through again explaining the agent to transfer to seniour, cicil got back to me telling that commitment was not given and speaking about the terms and conditions, when i spoke to her something about limit she tells me that nothing has been spoken about the limit and she spoke in the way that i was lieing and i asked her to check again and she called be back again accepting that there was a conversation about the limit and i told her franklyi want it to be compensated and i dont want any sorry again, she took a long time when she had nothing to shut my mouth she started speaking about the terms and conditions and even i spoke about your compensation policies, my question here is why am i getting different tals from different people, some one tells calls are not recorded and some tell calls are recorder and whatever i tell what i have spoken to sales guy has he has not spoken like that some tell yes he has spoken that, is this CITI bank, seriosly, and cicil dint give me resolution she just gave negative responses and tried to shut my mouth by speaking terms and conditions and tried to manipulate me thinking i am stupid and taking out the fool out of me, she again took time and got back to me telling me this the end of it, "SORRY" and now its more than 36 days and i get "SORRY", according to you people resoulution should be provided in 7 days and if a person is reaching the highest point of contact that means there is a lot of problems and is not happy/he is not stupid and i asked her to escalate it to her seniour. but she tells me i am the highest i am sorry and all those and she asked me to write an email and i here i am writing an email.
              I had no patience to write an email and i believe in end to end telephone conversation and i told her the same thinh that you give me a resolution or you escalate it and arrange a call back from your seniour, this particular conversation went upto 2 days and she was just trieng to make my shut my mouth, whenever i speak about Citi bank mistakes she doesnot speak anything about it, finally cicil being a seniour thinking that no one will get to know if it will end here and DISCONNECTED the call and end of the conversation, i called by again reaching the agent and promised a call back from cicil in 20 mins and i get no resoponse and i called again reaching the agent and promising a call back from cicil on mar 2, but cicil never ca;l back thinking that i will try for few days and i will be quite, is this the way the customers are treated, is this the way you VALUE YOUR CUSTOMERS and seniour hangs up on me, this is the way all the cases are close rite?? when no resoultion given they just hang up, to be frank i had option to open salaried account in ICICI but i prefer a good service so i took CITI bank and here is the service which i got, i want to escalate this particular thing and want a resolution and i expect a telephone conversation abou this from the seniour of cicil because we get no proper response from email and writing a email is really frustrating, and i have spoken to o many people and so many hours and so many days and yet i get a very bad response by hanging up on me, i really want this to be taken seriously i expect a telephonic response as soon as possible and i want to launch an official complian against cicil, please listen to all the calls, all the respponses and check everything about the case and please get back to me as soon as possible.

                There is a Citibank fraudulent activity on my Citibank account no xxxxx.
                I had done a Rs.35000 IMPS transaction on a HDFC account today morning with reference number xxxx.
                The money has been debited from my Citibank account but never got credited in HDFC account.
                I tried calling multiple times to your Citibank customer care but they just disconnect my call without any resolution.
                When I ask them where is my money they do not have any answer for the same.
                When I ask them to let me speak to their manager they simply disconnect the call.
                All they ask me to do is contact HDFC bank. I spoke to HDFC bank and they have confirmed that they haven’t received any such transaction request.
                So where is my money???

                I need a resolution asap on this as there is no support from your customer care.
                This is a complete fraud that Citibank is doing with me.
                If I don’t get my money back in the next hour, I will close all my business with Citibank and choose some other bank. There are better banks who provide better service than yours.
                I have another bank account which is a salary account (xxxx), I think I have to close this account as well.
                I need a resolution asap, else I will sue Citibank in the consumer court for this FRAUD.

                  Dear team I had received a call from [protected] on 12.25 pm, 12.27, 12.28 (Dated 1.3.2017), where she said we are calling from bank online reward points department and she asked the credit card details for the purpose of giving additional reward points and cash back. I gave the card number and she asked the cvv & otp when i checked the sms completely till the transaction done. After she told me within 2 days the reward points will credit in your card. After 2 hrs later i checked & the amount of rs.4800 debited in my card (twice). I checked with bank, they told the amount transaction done in some other merchant, immediately i blocked my card with help of bank executive. I tried to contact that person but they are not picking calls. Time of call and OTP -12:36 from citi Bank to Vodafone Bill Desk and IDEA Money, MPESA 4800/- each total of 24000 / - Please request you to help me on this matter to get back the amount. cancel this transaction or please refund the money .                     I am a customer of citi Bank with Salary account, I refer Citi bank credit card to one of my friend and she applied as well on same link then I got a Citi Bank referral Dashboard by email where It shows Applied in process .After 2-3 days on of Citi bank executive came on office for document collection and asking only Voter card and said no need of Pan card, after 3 days my referral friend got an SMS for Application reject, and next day same citi bank executive came office and asking that we need Pan Card as well and you have to fill a new form as well and she done the process on same time and card was Approve within 2-3 days . Now Citi Bank customer Care denied to give that referral amount because of that executive has fill the document and your referral Application was rejected .

                    This is just making customer fool nothing else .

                      I did the payment 1622.20 using city bank credit card for pizza hut payment online. for Home delivery .but order number is not generated from pizza hut so they did not provide me. I called the city bank customer care and they told me provide the call back against dispute payment, but did not take any action till now also not back money. I got the statement where they charged 1622.20 which should be void.

                        I have ordered for a gift voucher through citi bank reedem points and it was routed to WOOHoo.in. I didn't get my voucher till now. If I conatct woohoo they are saying to contact bank and when I call you people are saying to conatct the woohoo.in

                        What should I do here?

                        I have been calling from 22nd December and Citi ppl will say contact Woohoo.in and Woohoo.in will say contact CITI. WIth out order# how could I contact the Amazon?

                        I have requested for the order # from citi bank which was needed by the wohho.in and it should start with WO it seems. But, Citi ppl gave me the tx ref# as the order which already I had.

                              Hi I got a call from the number [protected] and was told that I am eligible for a Cash Back Credit card. I showed interest as the number showed in true caller as CITI bank. A runner boy named Kishore came and collected my documents and had a BPA 0510315, which I am not able to track.

                              Kindly suggest me what should I do as I have give photocopies of some of my identification documents and payslips .

                                CITI Bank had taken the complete amount from my Savings account without my permission and any intimation for the payment of my Credit card. When there was a minimum amount due which I been paying on every month, this unauthorized transaction from my savings account has been done and that amount has been taken for my Credit card payment, . That too this was happened on Saturday and when i checked with the customer care person, he had confirmed that amount will be released on Monday for sure but that was a false info. Without my permission that amount was taken for my credit card outstanding. This is really unacceptable that how come they can wiped off the whole amount from my savings account and giving me a false info as i had given a standing instruction for whole amount. But until today (Tuesday) the amount was not reversed and got a message saying that amount has been taken for credit card outstanding. So without my notice, these people had taken my money from the savings account and giving all false information.
                                Since from Saturday, i am running out of money and i am literally helpless now. Thought only few private banks are worst in service and security, but never thought even CITI Bank will be one among.
                                Really lost all my good thought and belief i had on CITI Bank. So this shows anytime these people can take all your money without your permission and intimation. This needs to be taken into serious notice to the govt and take some serious steps on these private banks

Saying the manager will call me in 3hrs but no one has called and later they said in 30 mins but even that not happened. Really such a worst service and response from CITI.
                                Somebody please suggest how to proceed this legally.

                                  Sir appended below please find the email replies of the bank regarding my representations for not getting of my reward of Rs. 2000/- against referral of my friend for issue of credit card. The replies of the bank are self explanatory, and no clarification required. On reading the replies one can come to know that the bank is befooling the peoples by their referral programme.

                                  Citibank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                  Citi bank is cheating the customer with the service tax on the interest part without any base document by the govt.I asked many time to show the details, what basis the service tax has been charged in the interest potion.There is no Answer from the Citi bank.

                                    Citibank — Referral program for citi credit card is a fraud

                                    CITI bank has a program to provided 2000 cashback for customer that referred a credit card to others.

                                    As part of it I referred one of my friend who has got credit card issued and using them for a while, but I didn't get cashback.

                                    The bank told me that your friend has not applied through the referral link whereas my friend told me that he has applied through my referral link infact I have personaly guided him to apply from my referral link send to his email but the bank didn't respond through the link besides the bank contact refree on his No. and process the case for issue of card.

                                    This is completed fraud, since he had applied only once and that through the referral email. But the service guys that processed his application has rejected it intentionally and applied a new one and approved it.

                                    Sir I request you to kindly look into it so the other people may not get trapped into the scheme.

                                    This is not a Genuine program looks like, i referred some, but non of them got credit card even after submitted the documents what ever they asked for.

                                    even after submission of Adhaar car details also they are asking more support for address proof. funny thing is they asking for AIRTEL Post Paid statement for address proof, is this is more genuine than Adhaar? Citibank People only can explain.

                                    didn’t understand, why this referral program launched by CITIBANK, when they don’t want to issue credit cards through this program.

                                      HI - I am Citi bank member from more than 8-9 years. I am well satisfied with bank.

                                      In Mid Dec 2016, country club invited us to their office and lured by offering many offers after showcasing the presentation. They told that they have tie up and we can pay using citi credit card

                                      Executive had informed that if i use my citi bank credit card, i will get a 24 months interest free emi. One of the reasons why i have taken this membership is due to the tie up with citi bank. I trusted that citi bank has done its due diligence. SO i paid Rs 40000 using citi credit card.

                                      They Club) had promised many things which i later found are wrong. They do not even pick phone or entertain us and in terms there is mention of increase of AMC every year by 10%. Also they had earlier told that we can use DAE hotels on per night basis but when i contacted them they told that if i woudl use it for 1 night i woudl need to pay for 6 nights..

                                      SO i want you to refund this money and take it back from them.

                                        I keep transferring amounts to a Citi Bank Credit card ending with 6112 owned by Avik Das and the citi bank reps keeping calling us and telling that they have not received payment even after 3 days. Not sure why NEFT transfer / Visa money transfer takes so long. Causing unwanted tension as the amount transfer is huge.
