I am a customer of CITIBANK for more than a decade. However, they are least bothered about destroying the goodwill built over the period. Very pathetic customer service and redressal of customer complaints. Received sms regarding the dues and paid the same immediately. However, received statement showing overlimit charges of Rs 579.09 plus Service tax. I was surprised to see such charge. Either CITI should have limited the amount as per yr set limit or should have informed me to pay the excess to avoid charges. On 3rd July 15 I got a sms stating that I have utilised more than 90 percent & I have to make payment to release further limits for use. After that sms I have not used the referred credit card Also CITI charged US$ at the rate of 65.97 for booking BA tickets whereas the prevailing rate was less than 64. There may be a variation of 50 p per$ and not Rs 2. Since I am a regular customer & I always pay my dues well in advance as is evident from our track records, kly reverse the overlimit fees with service tax & the excess charged on us dollar conversion Awaiting yr favourable reply atleast here (Mails were sent and no response received) R Murali [protected]

One Year Back I had enrolled for a Citi bank Titanium Credit card (Basic Credit card) . As per the policy or agreement, If I make the shopping for 30K per yr, then there will be no annual charge on me . IF I can not meet then there will be a change of 1k per yr with taxes . But Unfortunately I had lost the card without using the card for a single time, So I have blocked it . Its Quite trivial, if a card is blocked No body can make a transaction . But surprise to see that after 1yr I got a bill . And in the bill they have placed the annual changes with taxes . When I have inquired about it, they are coming back with a reply that the card was Blocked not closed . But I simply believe that they want me to make me fool on technical works . Its Quite Obvious that, once a card is blocked you cannot make the purchase So as the target set can not be meet .and the said bill (annual charges + taxes) you have provided on a blocked card, which dont exist at all . And again, If the card got blocked, why the bank has not taken the step to provide me another replacement card . Without Helping to customer, they are harassing . So I dont expect such behavior from the Global Bank Citi . Who make money by, making fool to the customer . I have attached there reply . you guys can have a check on it . And before going for Citi Credit card, Beware of it . Thanks Manas

I have a citibank credit card. For almost 2 years i have been paying the min. balance due every month without fail but not a single penny has been deducted from the main amount, on asking i was told that the min. amount takes into account the interest etc. and hence it net net doesnt change the principal amount. My total credit due was apprx Rs. 80, 000. I have paid more than Rs. 60, 000 in total thru the min. payments and the total amount has remain unchanged. I made a payment to 30K and now appprox 55K is pending. So basically, for a total credit amount of 80K, in the last 2 years, i have paid 60K (as monthly min) + 30K (payment done) and now I am expected to pay the balance 55K. ie. 145K. Is this fair? Hope do u calculate the min amount? Is the min. amount only your interest rate? Please adjust atleast some of the payment that I have been making every month with my principal amount and let me know the final outstanding. You are fooling customers. I will not pay a single penny till you respond. And I wish to return the credit card. Thanks An extremely unsatisfied customer adeeti.[protected]@gmail.com

Dear Sir, For more than about 20 years (both in India and abroad) I have been a customer of Citibank card ( Name:Dattatreya Sarma Achanta; Card No: [protected]). To-day(July 21 2015) I came to know from my cell phone about fraudulent transactions are made using my card information which I never shared. Immediately I called citiphone within half an hour to stop the delivery of the fraudulent e transaction. The following are the details: i) 456.54 CNY was spent on 21July time: 04:01:58pm at IHERB.com (fraudulent transaction) ii) 456.54 CNY was spent on 21July time: 04:02:29pm at IHERB.com (fraudulent transaction) iii) 456.54 CNY was spent on 21July time: 04:02:55pm at IHERB.com (fraudulent transaction) At 04:32PM I called citiphone([protected]), and request the person to stop deliver of the items on that transaction and also block my card. Again I called citiphone([protected]) at 05:27Pm and again requested the person to do the needful for stopping that transaction and not charge me. As Citibank is an internationally renowned bank and also I informed about fraudulent transaction within about half an hour, I sincerely believe, that the bank is capable of investigating this fraud and do not charge the customers for none of their fault. As I am not responsible for this fraudulent transaction, I request you to instruct the concerned persons not to include this transaction amount in my bill. Please acknowledge this e-mail Looking forward to your early favourable action. Regards Dr.A.D.Sarma Cell No: [protected]

Hi, This is Gyanendra Yadav, I have got few calls in last 1-2 month mentioning that I have been issued one citi bank credit card. Initially, I ignored the calls assuming there is some mistake but Today ( Dated 18th July 2015 ) Caller who was a lady, mentioned My name, My mobile no along with last four digit of Credit card no ( which I couldn't listen exactly and he/she dropped the call when asked to repeat). Caller was asking how I would like to redeem my credit card points which has reached to 5000 points. caller used this no: +91- [protected] to call me. This incident has increased my worries to many fold, I never applied, nor using any citi bank credit card. Please look into it or let me know I need to lodge the complaint with TRI or RBI. Thanks & Regards, Gyanendra

Hi, I hold a Citibank credit card for many years, off and on since I took my first job in 1993. . The company insists on switching me to e-statements without my consent. When I call the service center, they say " we will switch you back to paper, however, you will receive an e-mail in 6 months asking you to switch to e-statement again and if you do not reply to the e-mail, you will be automatically switched back to e-statement" This is an unethical, unscrupulous and blatantly profit-motivated practice by Citibank. It is very well known fact that when a customer does not get a paper statement he will tend to forget to pay in time. Most banking analysts say that the rate of non-payment doubles when paper statements are stopped and e-statements are substituted. In this case, the bank can charge huge amounts as late payment penalties and interest. Customer service flatly refused to switch me permanently to paper statements. told them it is not possible for me to wait and watch for the one e-mail that if I do not relpy, my paper statements will get cut off - I receive so many e-mail every day. The agent basically said that is my problem not the bank's. Above all, I have lost all respect for a bank that does not take consent from customers before forcing them to accept e-statements. They brand it as "go green" but the worst kept secret is it is only greed for profits from late charges and interest that makes Citibank do this. I hope the regulators take note of this and do something to help innocent customers.

Dear Sir, I have issued an Indian oil card from your bank. The agent has asked me to put an application as it is free for one year and in subsequent year you have to pay nominal charges or use it for min transaction of 20000/. I have not used this card till now. As I have informed that you have to use once to activate it. As have not used it at any time I am in perception that it is not activated and hence not used. Recently I have got the message that I have to pay 1140/ as annual fee of the card. This is not clear to me in any way, why I have to pay even if I have not activated yet. Requesting you to close this card and waive the annual fee. Looking forward for your conformation. My card no 5546 XXXX XXXX 7177. Mobile no:[protected]

I applied for a Citibank Card along with all my details and that too at the request of one of their customer service executive. But without even giving me proper details of the application form approval process, they rejected it saying " We have reviewed your application and the annexures provided. We regret to inform you that we are currently unable to approve your application for a Citibank Card, as the particulars provided by you do not meet our internal policy guidelines." The same has happened not once but twice. The recent application form no was [protected]. I gave my id proof (PAN Card), Add proof(Voter id) Still it was rejected. This is not fair as I give my whole details to bank, and I am not even issued the card. My information can be misused and can be illegally reported. Either all my documents should be returned or the card be issued.

I opened the Citibank account in Feb 2010 and it was a salary account. The Citibank executive who helped me in opening the account told me that in case if this account will no more be salary account it will get converted in a saving bank account and the minimum balance (NRV) which needs to be maintained then will be Rs 25, 000. From Feb 2015, this account is no more a salary bank account and I am maintaining the balance more than Rs 25, 000 but then on 28 Jun 2015, I received an email and SMS from Citibank stating to build up the NRV upto Rs 100, 000 to avoid non-maintenance charges. In the same email it has been mentioned "To know more, please visit www.citi.co.in/nrvfaq.htm". On visiting this link again I found the average minimum balance (NRV) I need to maintain for a saving bank account is Rs 25, 000, but on calling the customer care, the executive is telling me that Citibank has revised the NRV limit from Rs 25, 000 to Rs 100, 000 in the year of 2012. So my complaint is firstly, NRV for the customers who opened the bank account with some certain term conditions should not change at later period of time. Secondly, when NRV FAQ document is stating it Rs 25, 000 for saving bank account how bank can ask me to build it up to Rs 100, 000 and moreover this document has been last modify on 1 Apr 2015. Attached is the front page of NRV FAQ document. FYI, Except Saving bank account I have no other holding (FD, loans, demat etc.) with Citibank

ello Team- I was using Citi bank Reward Card ending with 4386XXXXXXXX7021 till the last month. On 04th June I paid minimum due to Rs. 4607 on outstanding . No alert SMS, mail or Phone call I had received from the citi bank regarding blocking my existing card & issuance of new reward EMV card to me. I have shifted to Pune from Mumbai last year & hence the new card is undelivered. No one have given consequences (impact) about this undelivered card to me. Being a citi bank card holder it is my right to get the all the information & impact of each action on my citi bank card but unfortunately no one bother from citi bank to inform me that due to this my minimum outstanding will be the same as my total outstanding which is approx. Rs.91000 & If I don't pay this by JULY 8, 2015 the late fee & interest will be charged on me. When I called customer care then only I could get this information. Recently I had received the new card post submitting my revised address document. Here I would like to inform you please take the case on priority & change the minimum due amount as there was no communication received from bank end & I am suffering due to their fault. Please note if I don't receive the favorable feedback then I will be force to log this case with banking ombudsmen. This kind of service is not expected from the brand like CITI BANK.
