Hi, This is regarding one of your ATM at khar linking road, West View Building. Every morning when i leave for office and visit the ATM No one is allowed to access the ATM. & the security asks everyone to wait out for mins.. I really dont know what happens inside. There's a lady who keeps taking rounds god knowns for what reason...9.30 am is the office time when everyone is in a hurry.. & during that time this nonsense happens everyday :( . Secondly there are very few Citi ATMs located.. & this one is on my way.. today i had go all the way to Bandra Hill road for another ATM I would request you to please Intervene into this & take action

    I received a call on 27th Jan 2015 around 1:05 pm regarding a new VIP credit card Citibank was offering to its "Special" customers. The person gently asked permission to explain the schemes in a minute and I agreed. After the advantages of the card were put forward, I thanked the person for the information and said that I did not have such requirements as of now. Upon this he started convincing me to take the card and try it out for few months. I still kept my calm and thanked him again and asked not to force the service on me. I told him that I know my requirements and I don't require any cards. To this he reacted in a very improper way. He snapped saying its better he stopped convincing me as he is wasting his time. Also adding that my time is clearly not getting wasted since I am just saying thank you clearly meaning that I am not capable o[censored]nderstanding anything. After this he hung up the call. First of all, he kept convincing me for minutes together as opposed to the 60 seconds he promised and added to that he is complaining I am wasting his time! Is this the way you talk to your customers? Just because someone is not interested in your products, would you be rude and disrespect the person whom you few minutes ago addressed as privileged and special? This is sheer un-professionalism and arrogant behavior. Please give proper training to your staff as this kind of behavior is completely unacceptable!

      1. I am a Citibank client in Melbourne for a few years and I have had no complaints or issue with Citibank, whatsoever. 2. As you know, for NRIs like me visiting India once a year so, the typical usage of Citibank cards is indeed great. 3. Me or more than me my wife, she does NOT use this card for any online purchase - none till now. We use it primarily to shop personally when in India. Being cautious, we used to reassure that our card had been rightly debited everytime we used the card and we have had no issues with that at all. 4. This habit, I think I should redefine my cautious to a slightly more finer level - whether we use the card at all or not, looks like we should check the card statement. I confess I did not see it warranted so much caution and I will accept that lack of judgement. You bet I will redefine my 'cautious approach' everytime, from now on! 5.This is what happened. My card has been debited - dunno who is the retailer 4 times - each time worth close to[protected] on my card for some online purchase. As I said before, this was in times when I was safe and secure in Melbourne, Australia and since I didn’t know I have not used my card. 6. The moot point is - at least I realised it now and asked Citibank to address my grievance. Please, no insult intended, Citibank was gracious and methodical in responding to my grievous call with a systematic and poignant reply with all the nice bells and whistles that Citibank regrets my experience but cannot take up the matter as it is almost 2 years old. 7. I am sure this must be the first line text book answer for zillions of complaints that your bank must be facing. Pity it did not address my worry. 8. Very quickly I raised an alert and equally efficiently Citibank got back - in less than 3 days and explained to me how this is out of their scope. 9. My questions were unanswered on: a. Where is my acknowledgement/approval for authorising the purchase? what is Citibank's process for authenticating a purchase on line. I do see these days you have an email/mobile or whatever approval - what was in state those days - Nov 2012 to be precise. b. Can Citibank give me the contact of the retailer - at least tell me who it was. Negative was the answer as the officer says - it was appalling to hear from a professional bank - that the first line officers cannot, yes, CANNOT see anything ebyond the Gateway address. 2 years - I dunno about India - in Australia every Tom, Dick & Harry and his dog, let alone the Financial institutions - should hold micro detail record for 7 years! Is Citibank treating such demands crazy? c. I wanted to know, now that I have complained, what would Citibank do - I wanted to know the systems and processes that it would take - to make sure this does not repeat to me or many of the Million odd clients you have.         Sir, I have received a home loan from your bank and my loan account number is 700808. I have received a statement againt my above mention loan for financial yera 2014-15. But this statement is not showing that this is a home loan and this certificate is given to me for the purpose for income tax rebate /claiming deduction under Sections 24(b) & 80C ------ of the INCOME-TAX ACT, 1961. because of these lacuna my office is not accepting the certificate. Kindly clearly specify that above mention loan is a home loan and principle and interest statement are issue for the purpose for income tax rebate.           Hi, I spoke to an executive well in advance and gave information about my BT that I had chosen through my SBI account and stated that I would be late to deposit the amount as I was supposed to receive a cheque from the SBI bank which was delayed and when I got it, I had no time to go and deposit the same. I called you guys again to send some executive to my place to collect the same, but was informed that you do not have such facilities. Hence, I had no option but to wait until I had a week off from work. And, the citibank does not have its ATMs at every location that you may go and deposit the cheque or amount whenever you wish like other banks. I request you to please waive off my late payment charges and the interest as I will not be able to pay any extra amount than the amount of my EMIs only and the purchases I made.             I have withdrawn 2000 rupees from a citi bank atm in DLF1, tower1, rajarhat, newtown, kolkata using my Axis bank atm card. Among them all 4 pcs 500 notes are torn and pasted. When I call back the number customer care number mentioned their, they told go to nearest axis bank because your atm card is of Axis bank. When I called even visited the Axis bank the refused to take because this is from citibank atm.I am still in between and no body want to take it. I am frustrated and harased in between them. Citibank should be punished for putting damaged note. Give me proper guidance.

              This is complaint against representative had been sent to my house for collection of money, as he was trying to get into my house force fully, and also hit Watch Man of may premises, the individual was very rude and abusive . Hence this is not acceptable . There is an outstanding on my card which minimum amount i am paying from longer time . I have informed Citibank team that it will be paid soon . still they keep on calling from various numbers from morning till evening [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], , [protected], . As this is not a process of collection also they have threaten my family to open the door and tried to bang the door. This is pathetic and Radiculous way to of collection . Also against the safety and security of citizen of India .I want that person to be called at Police station first, hence i am not going to pay single amount to CITIBANK .                 It was 9/1/2015, an old age person around early 60s went to CITIBank, gandhibazaar, bangalore branch for banking purpose. As a regular exercise of taking token and waiting for his number. The CITI cash keeper skipped his number and called the next token, The old man asked the employee, why they skipped the number but the employee was reluctant to give the answer and asked to take a new token. The employees behavior is act of low morality and it would affect the morale of Indians . It is a condemnable act and CITI bank employee having this kind of gesture would lead to downfall of the organization

                  My credit card ninumber is [protected]. I was issued this credit card 1 year ago n was told that there is special scheme for your company and no membership fees will b levied.. Now at d end of the year they have levied 1200 as annual fees n now they are telling there was no such scheme and the same can not be reversed. They are asking stupid question like from which number you got the call. As if i would have save that number from which i got call one year back. They are not ready to do anything about the mis selling that their sales executive are doing. Request you to take strick action on them. They even dont reply to the register complains. Every time we need to call and ask the status. I have registered complain SREFF14080660. I didnt get any reply. I again called dem n now they are telling the same cant b reversed. I have requested callback from higher authority. Still waiting for same.

                  Similar case here. I did not even use that citi credit card ever and did neither receive any communication from Citi through out the year before getting a bill with annual maintenance charges.
                  I have called Customer care multiple times to stop/block my card and still I have not got my request entertained.

                    Dear Sir/Ma'am 1. I have a citibank card No. [protected] since last 16 years.During my posting at Kharagpur WB, in the month of Sep 14, I thought of an addon card for my wife.On speaking to citibank customer care, I was advised that the bank executive shall visit the customer at the registered address. As my regd address was my permanent address of Thane distt, on the advice of Citibank executive I changed my address to my residential address of Kharagpur 2. On contacting again with Citibank customer care, I was told that Kharagpur is not covered by Citibank addon card team and as I visit my parental home in Thane every year, i again got my address changed to Thane. 3. I visited Thane on 26 Dec 14 and on the same day a request to Citibank was made. I did not receive any call till 30 Dec 14. On confirmation I was told that the request has been closed due to no response on 30 Dec 14. It is pertinent to note that no call/missed call was received at the registered mobile . 5. On 30 Dec 14, the problem was registered and Citibank was to confirm why and how the call was closed. A new request was also registered on 30 Dec 14 again. As I have come to Thane for a limited number of days I kept on contacting Citibank for imm response to my second request placed. On 03 Jan 15, however to my utter surprise this request was also closed due to non response without any call/missed call on my registered mobile . On asking who made the call from which number at what time. I was told that I shall get the info within 2 hrs on my registered mobile, however no information has been received till date. 6. I was again offered to make a new request for the job with 05 days as the target tine. As I am to depart from Thane on 06 Jan 15. I refused the offer as the Citibank response to the request is very poor. 7. In between when I contacted Citibank on 01/02 Jan 15, I was told by the Citibank that by mentioning your problem you may send the form directly at Chenni also. This process was never informed to us by customercare during numerous calls made before. 8. In view of above, I request you kindly consider the following:- (a) Wrong guidance given by Citibank is a cause of great concern, which misguided the customer. (b) Why both the requests were closed on making calls on fourth day. What is the policy on making call by Citibank. As understood the target time is 05 days and officer is dutybound to contact atleast 03 times. In both the cases, as per customer care, Citibank tried to contact on 4th day only to make all the three calls. However, no call/missed call has been received. Pl explain (c) Why efforts to get the contact details of any Citibank executive in order to complete the process within my 11 days stay at Thane should prove to futile as this being a special case of a customer with good track record and posting all over India, (d) Why no information/call received from Citibank after finding out what went wrong with both the requests. (e) While taking complaint or request why request/complaint number is not given to customer. (f) Why it should take 04 days for the Citibank to callup customer in today, s world. 9. Ultimately now as I head towards Allahabad for my duty. How can I get addon card for my wife 10.                           To whomever it may concern, I have been making regular payments towards my credit card bill but still the outstanding balance shows no changes. Key points: 1- My minimum balance fluctuates every time. 2- High interest charged to the EMI amount. (which is interest free). 3- 11% interest is charged on the indian oil card i[censored]sed in some other petrol pump. I don't understand this, coz even government does not charge me like this. EXAMPLE- If I fill fuel for INR. 200 then i am charged 222.00 on the statement but i receive message of Rs. 200 debited from my card. whereas if i use my card in indian oil pump i should get subsidy but i dont get any benefit. 4- Without any communication my Interest Rate was hiked from 36 % to 42 %. Which is not acceptable by any means. 5- If i make a payment for my card in the counter ( offline payment ) they charge Rs.100 as handling charges. This is pathetic. 6- If i make a payment of Rs. 6500 on total amount of 29500 (twenty nine thousand) the amount come down only by Rs. 1500, leaving the balance 28000. But when i make a small purchase the total balance shoots up like a rocket. I went with all the bills and statement to the MG road branch but there was no one to assist me. they said you have t o speak to customer care. They talk like machines. I have asked so many times that i need some person in physical form so that i can explain it properly. I cant even go for settlement as my credit score will come down sharply. They give loans and then charge abnormal interest rate and then they play with our credit score. This is a huge trap to fraud the young people, This needs to be stop. This reminds me of the LANDLORD rule during the olden times when the money lenders use to give loan to the farmers with high interest rates and eventually the farmer paying only the interest and the principal amount remaining the same. This credit card scam is Robbing and Raping people financially. I seriously expect an answer.

                            Hi Sir, I have HDFC Salary account from May 2012 with account number # [protected] I have following loans. Loan 1: Bank Name: HDFC Bank EMI Amount: 2769 EMI Deduction Date: 5th of every month Loan 2: Bank Name: CITI Bank EMI Amount: 3516 EMI Deduction Date: 5th of every month Every month the EMI money will be deducted from HDFC Bank account. Unfortunately I have not maintained the balance for the month of November. I paid 2769/- HDFC Bank loan EMI by cash on 28th November to HDFC Bank representative. I paid 8000/- CITI Bank Loan by NEFT Transfer on 6th December. (As the CITI Bank customer care executive told I paid 995/- additional as late fees) Following are the ECS Transactions happened from the respective bank for the month of November. HDFC Bank: 05/11/2014 - 1 Time 06/11/2014 - 1 Time CITI Bank: 03/11/2014 - 2 Times 13/11/2014 - 2 Times 01/12/2014 - 2 Times Following are the total deductions from my account: ECS DR Return Charges[protected].09 EMI DR Return Charges[protected].00 ECS DR Return Charges[protected].26 ECS DR Return Charges[protected].61 ECS DR Return Charges[protected].70 [protected][protected][protected]------- Total Deductions = 2373.63+ 995 (Late fee for CITI Bank) = 3368.63 Really should I bare these charges of rupees 3368/- for the total EMI of rupees 6285/- ? If I call HDFC Bank, they say these deductions are because of ECS fail and not ready to return any amount. How many times a bank can try for ECS in a month for one loan? What are RBI guidelines on Loan ECS and ECS Charges? If I contact bank ombudsman, should I need lawyer to take up the case? Attached the bank transactions details to this complaint.                                 Sir, My name is Parminder Singh Arora. I applied for citibank credit card a long back (around one and a half months ago). I also submitted the documents required for the same. However, on 21 Nov 14, I received a letter from your side (dated 17 Oct 14) stating that they are unable to process my application due to non receipt of required documents. I also tried several calls on the number mentioned in the letter[protected], but it is of no use. I could not talk to the customer care executive. Your representative has already collected my documents. Please send your representative to verify my residential address or kindly let me know the exact reason, why I am not able to get my citibank credit card till now. The reference number written on your letter is[protected]/89. Please contact me as soon as possible.

                                  I am your credit card holder since last fifteen years, but sorry to say that credit card loan that you claim be sanction in 48 hours, , delayed by months together, may be mistake of your courier company, as claimed by u, indemnify bond taken from me for no fault of mine 15days back, nothing done so far, yet to receive, First time in fifteen years of relationship I have to think that I am with a wrong bank and looking for other efficient banks.

                                    Beware of Citibank issuing credit card and ready credit line products without your consent. I have recently opened a Citibank salary account, which I was forced to do as I did not have any other option, since I have already undergone a pathetic experience with Citibank earlier. In this specific instance I would like to bring to your notice about issue of credit card and ready credit line facility by Citibank. First of all I have never requested for these products and have never applied and while opening the suvidha account had specifically told the representative to exclude me of these unwanted products/ services. In-spite of all these I have got sms's communicating that my credit card has been approved and further sms’s telling that I have been approved for ready credit line of Rs. 5 lacs. Both of these products have come out as a surprise in-spite of my utter refusal towards them. It appears that this is a systemic failure or an intentional mal-practice followed by Citibank to increase the sales of these products. It could be at a bank level or representative level- I don’t know, but such practices are creating nuisance for the customers. I have already contacted their customer care and they could only help in cancelling/ closing but were clueless on how it could happen in the first place. This issue is not isolated to me, but many of my other colleagues are also facing the same issue and feeling harassed by this. Further I have been dealing with other banking companies like ICICI/ SBI/ HDFC and have never faced these frustrating issues with them. My only advice is to be aware before getting into any commitment.

                                      Sir, I am very sorry to inform you that you are not interested in issuing your valuable creditcards to the customers like me residing in VISAKHAPATNAM, Severak times i applied online for the creditcard with reference to the mails received to me. But in the online application, in the address bar, when citi is seen, i am getting angry and got annoyed that the only developing industrial city in andhrapradesh like visakhapatnam is having this type of discrimination of not having the facility or privilege of getting a creditcard from a bank like CITIBANK. Please look into the matter and inform the latest .                                         Dear Sir To day at12.31 pm I have received a sms towards payment of Rs.14534 from my credit card no. 5546xxxxxxxx6601 for insurance. First of all who authorise to pay of Rs. 14534 for insurance from my above credit card. Without my knowledge the payment was made I am not responsible for above payment and also state that I will not pay to citibank It shows very ugly to make payment with out my knowledge Several times phone calls received regarding the insurance payment Totally I have objected and also said that I am not interested for payment of insurance Now I have decided to close my credit card No. 5546xxxxxxxx6601. I have to state that no amount is pending for payment. I request that clearance may please be issued for no amount pending payment from me so that I have sent the credit card back to you for closure. If no reply received from you regarding the withdrawal of payment of Rs. 14534 further action will be taken from me Expecting your reply with in hours. Regards rajagopalan [protected]
