My Credit card number is [protected] Citibank Egypt. I would like to reporting an international level, the terrible service quality that I have experienced and still experiencing. I need you to take an action to get my rights

History of the Credit Card:
I am member since December 2003 until I finally closed the credit card on 16th of March 2008.The card was secured with a deposit of total amount 2000 Egyptian pounds that was increased a year later to 2400 Egyptian pounds.

Terrible Service experienced and clarification needed
1-Delaying statements
2-Renewing my card as an extra service for my protection from hackers at the end of 2007. Accordingly, they closed the credit card access without informing me and it took me a month and a half till I received the renewed card that was not activated tried to activate the credit card through the citi phone service that took days to even reach.It was a favour from the bank that means not charging me, however, they did charge me for renewing the card.
3-Phone service that does not provide a service at all. What they provide is waiting, slow and hang up replies
4-Customer service rudeness is outrageous and this is the reason that directed me to close my credit card.
5-on the 16th of March 2008 I received a call from Shady Safouat +[protected] informing me of the payment of the month, however, he was threatening me with claosing the credit card if I did not pay! I tried to talk reason to him explaining my situation but this led to extreme rudeness and impolitness.Therefore, on the same day, I requested closing my credit card and that the deposit covers all the payment charges, feesand that I take the interest after. My request was proceeded however, there were not any interest to be received.I would like to know how on earth this could be.The 2400 Egy. pounds did not make any interest all through the period it was there since December 2003 till March 2008? I demand an explanation.
6- It does not end here.I discovered that they made the deposit 2355 or so instead of 2400 that I have requested.NOTE: (I have increased my deposit with 400 a year later after opening my account in 2003.) All this time I have been dealing that my deposit is 2400. I require a clarification on that case too.
7- Finally, after going through all this and partly accepting. I went to request a certification that certifies closing my account on the 26th of March 2008. This request have not been fulfilled till today. I went today the 16th of April 2008 to receive the certification. I found out that they did not issue it due to petty, unconvincing reason which was that my signature does match!! They claimed that they called me on the 7th, which did not happen, and found my mobile number unavailable.Not to mention the rudeness of the staff working at the custmor service at my branch in Alexandria.

I have reached an extreme. What I require now is the requested certificate and the clarification on the two points mentioned above. Please take all the necessary procedures. I demand an action to be taken.

Hi,

I want to apply for Citibank Metro Credit Card. Please let me the procedure and what is the eligibility to get the card. I sent the message at the given number (METRO) but only received confirmation stating that they will get back to me. However, noone has contacted me yet.

Please either call me or tell me the whole procedure to get the card. I am in urgent need of thid card because I like its features.

i'm out of country now (EGY), spacifically in US, and i didn't pay off my credit card from 2 months,

so plz i need to activate my card as soon as possible, sorry.. i completely forgot to do it before i travel,

and right now i don't know how long i'm gonna stay here in the state, .

Cancel your credit card before you die... (Hilarious!)

Now some people are really stupid!!!
Be sure and cancel your credit cards before you die.
This is so priceless, and so, so easy to see happening, customer service being what it is today.
A lady died this past January, and Citibank billed her for February and March for their annual service charges on her credit card, and added late fees and interest on the monthly charge. The balance had been $0.00 when she died, but now somewhere around $60.00. A family member placed a call to Citibank.

Here is the exchange :
Family Member: 'I am calling to tell you she died back in January.'
Citibank: 'The account was never closed and the late fees and charges still apply.'
Family Member: 'Maybe, you should turn it over to collections.'
Citibank: 'Since it is two months past due, it already has been'
Family Member: So, what will they do when they find out she is dead?'
Citibank: 'Either report her account to frauds division or report her to the credit bureau, maybe both!'
Family Member: 'Do you think God will be mad at her?'
Citibank: 'Excuse me?'
Family Member: 'Did you just get what I was telling you - the part about her being dead?'
Citibank: 'Sir, you'll have to speak to my supervisor.'


Supervisor gets on the phone:
Family Member: 'I'm calling to tell you, she died back in January with a $0 balance.'
Citibank: 'The account was never closed and late fees and charges still apply.'

Family Member: 'You mean you want to collect from her estate?'
Citibank: (Stammer) 'Are you her lawyer?'
Family Member: 'No, I'm her great nephew.' (Lawyer info was given)
Citibank: 'Could you fax us a certificate of death?'
Family Member: 'Sure.' (Fax number was given )


After they get the fax :
Citibank: 'Our system just isn't setup for death. I don't know what more I can do to help.'
Family Member: 'Well, if you figure it out, great! If not, you could just keep billing her. She won't care.'
Citibank: 'Well, the late fees and charges will still apply.'
(What is wrong with these people?!?)
Family Member: 'Would you like her new billing address?'
Citibank: 'That might help..'
Family Member: ' Odessa Memorial Cemetery, Highway 129, Plot Number 69.'
Citibank: 'Sir, that's a cemetery!'
Family Member: 'And what do you do with dead people on your planet???'

Priceless!! Have you wondered why Citi is going broke and need the feds to bail them out!!
i already made a complaint that i have yet to receive renewed credit(citibank indian oil) my earlier card no is
[protected]. but i received a bill i have to pay rs.100/ i do not know whereis the mistake.

    I used the citibank ATM card(MG Road Bnaglaore Suvidha Account) on a HSBC ATM machine(MG Road Bangalore) to withdraw 20000 rupees on March 20th 2008.
    Because of a malfunction of the machine, the money was not delivered; but my Citibank savings account was debited with the same amount.
    I lodged a compliant with Citibank on the same day (20 March 2008, Ref: [protected]), and they agreed to provide me temporarily 20000 rupees till they investigate the matter.
    But on 6th April 2008, they again debited the money from my account, stating their investigation has found the transaction was valid.
    On again speaking to the citibank customer support, they told the matter is closed with them, and if I need I can seek legal opinion or again send my compliant to [protected]@citicorp.com.
    I walked to the Citibank head office in MG Road Bangalore on 8th April 2008 and showed the ATM receipts which clearly states that the transaction was cancelled.
    The executive from the Suvidha department there send the scanned receipts to [protected]@citicorp.com. When I asked them to copy me in the compliant or provide a compliant ID for the same, he said that is not possible.
    Till now I have not got any update from Citibank, nor did my money was given back.

    Kindly suggest what kind of legal action, or any banking ombudsmen compliant or any consumer forum petitiom can be proceeded with.
    levying of 5% on outstaing balance on pre closure of my car loan account number CEJ[protected] is not justifible I am working as Branch Managar in nationalised Bank . Hence kidly look in to the matter and advise me how much I suppose to repay.

    I am writing this letter to confrim the details of my loan, which I have applied as an existing customer. My motor bike loan has been cleared in the year Oct 2008 and got clearence letter too, hence I was given an apportunity for personal loan. I applied with all my douments which were neccessary and submitted accordingly, but unforutunately I was shell shocked when they told me that I have taken one loan of 50, 000 in April 10, 2008 and is under process where as I have not taken any type of loan from my part. Furthermore, what is intersting is that they are telling me that I am paying there amount accordingly, till todate I have not taken any such type of loan then how can this happened to my in my profile. When I asked them give me the details they couln't provide me and I want full details on this or else I will be taking this matter to civil court and things will be different their. Please feel free to ask any questions at any time on my mobile or landline numbers given below in detail. My personal loan has been regected due to this concern, and I humbly request you sir not to send me any sms or any brouchers as an old customer till this is cleared. When you people cannot stand on your words or unable to give the clarfications then what is the use in doing so. Please rectify as soon as possible or else I have to take this matter seriously.

      A fraud has been committed on a Citibank- Shoppers Stops credit card issued but not recd by me. Not only has someone misused the card, what is really alarming, are the phone calls from Citibank officers accusing and threatening.

      The chain of events relating to the above-mentioned card are as follows :

      1. recd a citialert on 7th march, 08 that a Citibank card ref no. [protected] had been issued to me

      2. another citialert recd on 15th march, 08 that the Citibank card ************ 4009 had been dispatched via Blue Dart vide AWB # [protected]

      3. the card was sent to my residence at Worli, but returned undelivered in the first instance since I was not available

      4. later the card was once again sent to the residence on 20th/ 21st march, 08 and even though I was not available, the courier boy took my mothers acknowledgement on the same and without physically handing over the card to her, left. Pls note, my mum has had an accident and was operated upon on 8th march, 08. As a result, she is on walkers and was unable to hold back the courier boy.

      5. I was out of town from Thursday 20th march, 08 and returned on Monday 24th march 08 and on being informed of the same, both me and my husband visited the Blue Dart office at Worli. Spoke to one Mr. Sandeep ( my father had also called this person earlier on). We were informed that there is nothing to worry, and that the acknowledgement had been cancelled and the card sent back to Chennai vide tracking no. [protected]. When we requested them to give this to us in writing, they refused, and only scribbled the abovementioned tracking no as well as the tracking no. ( [protected]) vide which the card was recd by Blue Dart from Chennai.

      6. on Tuesday 25th march, 08, I called the Chennai office, was told to call Mumbai customer service, called and spoke to a lady called Pushpa. She assured that all was fine and that the card would be reissued and re-sent to me by 28th march, 08

      7. thought this ended the matter when to my shock and utter disbelief, a get another sms from Citibank on 28th march, 08 informing me that I had “ a high value Electronics charge” on my credit card and that I need to call the local Citiphone number incase I did not confirm the purchase on the card ending- 4009.

      8. I immediately once again called the Mumbai customer service center and spoke to a gentleman by the name “ Nabil”. He recorded all the above facts and gave me a reference number [protected]. I told him that I didnt even have the card number, let alone the card and was not aware of any transaction made thereon. I also requested him to give me the details of the transactions on the card, what value, which city, etc. which he declined saying he would have to investigate. I also requested him to pls block the card and that I did not want this card. He stated that he would have to re-issue the card before cancelling the same. He also stated that he would send me the CDF ( customer declaration form) which I needed to fill up and return. On asking if I needed to do anything at this point in time, he replied in the negative and said he would investigate and revert.

      9. on 1st April, 08, I got a call from someone named Roshan ( phone no.[protected] once again asking me and checking for facts. He said he alongwith people from Blue Dart would come over and request my mother to identify the courier boy.

      10. on Saturday 5th april, 08, the said Mr Roshan from Citibank and some employees of Blue Dart visited my residence and grilled my mother. My husband was present during this meeting. Though my mother acknowledged that she had signed the acknowledgment and also identified the courier boy, she reiterated that the credit card was not handed over to her. The Citibank representative shared the statement with my husband which included some amounts paid to a “Geeta Bar” and orally they even acknowledged and accepted that I wouldn’t have visited one. However, in order to absolve themselves of any responsibility, the Citi representative asked us to file an FIR. We explained that we couldn’t file an FIR simply because we didn’t even have the credit card number.

      11. Yesterday morning i.e on 8th april, 08, I again got a call from one Mr Naik of Citibank asking me to fill up a CDF ( customer declaration form ). Told him that as I had read and understood the form, the same was not applicable since it relates to transactions in case the card has been lost or some transactions are in dispute. In the current case, since I haven’t even recd the card, don’t have the card number, I really cannot even fill in the form. He said he would check with his manager and revert.

      12. then again at 7 pm, the said Mr Roshan ( phone no.[protected] called and asked me if I wanted the card reissued to which I declined. Mr Roshan then raised his voice accusing me and my family of accepting the credit card and using the same and denying the same.

      The crux of the matter seems to be the fact that my mother has signed on the acknowledgement. But, request you to pls bear in mind that this was a genuine error on her part and she never expected the courier boy to vamoose without handing over the card to her. At this point, I would like to mention that when the card was returned at the first instance, I was categorically informed by Blue Dart officials that they would not hand over the card to anyone except the person in whose name the card was issued, that’s me. So, why then in the first place was the card even given to my mother ??

      The whole sequence of events is really a cause of concern to me.

      Moreover, as it appears, Citi is now trying to absolve itself of the responsibility by using harassment / accusation tactics .

      Citibank N. A. — Not providing photocopy of power of attorney for share transfer

      I have purchased Shares of Reliance Capital Limited on the date 28/10/1998.

      I have got Share transfer form from seller, on which, there is a stamp of Citibank N. A. as a power of attorney holder on behalf of seller.

      When I sent these shares for transfer on my name to company, company reject these application with the objection - Attested photocopy of power of attorney is required as the same has not been registered with the company.

      I have write letters to Citibank N. A., Mumbai, and also contact to Citibank, Ahmedabad branch, but have not got any reply yet. Please guide me what should I do now. I will appriciate ur help and time. Thank you.

        This is to bring to the notice of CITI Bank of INDIA (DELHI) for suvidha account NO [protected], on 16th of March 2008, I have ordered a Pay Order (DD) in favour of GREEN FIELDS SCHOOL for Rs 7, 000/- which I was required to submit for the admission of my son, from the machine installed in the ATM of Citibank. The machine provided me the receipt saying that I will get the DD in 3 working days.

        On 18th of March 2008, I called CITI Bank (PH #[protected] to get the status of my DD, the Citibank telephone executive informed me that the DD has already been dispatched and I will get the DD today.
        She also provided me the detail of courier and their contact number. The detail was,
        DD was dispatched through way bill no 55745 through ABC Xpress couriers and the contact number of courier is PH # [protected].
        I further called Courier Company he gave me another number saying since the courier is for MUNIRKA so you call our South Extension branch on PH # 30684586. Again I called the south EX courier branch and they conveyed me that they have returned the courier back to Citibank on Monday evening i.e on 17th of March to Mr. GAURAV as they were not able to trace my address.

        On 18th March 08 I again called Citi phone office and requested the executive that since the courier is returned back to their Gurgaon branch and my office is also in Gurgaon so I am ready to collect the DD personally from CITI office, He raised an ticket number # [protected] and gave me the address of Gurgaon CITI bank branch and told me to collect the DD today after 5.30 today.
        (Citibank address as per him, CITI BANK Ground Floor, DLF square, M block Jacarandra Marg, DLF City, Phase 2, Gurgaon. PH.# 2565757)

        At around 4 o clock I called the DLF Citibank office on phone number 2565757 and they responded me that they do not handle these types of cases I should speak to citi phone office. I again called citi phone and narrated the entire story to a person named IRFAN he told me that “my case will be looked after 20th of MARCH 08, and the person who have raised the ticket for this did not informed you and we are sorry for that.” I requested the executive that you have done the confirmation from the courier company that the courier has been not been dispatched so please do the STOP PAYMENT of the DD and transfer the amount in my saving bank so that I will go to Citibank personally and get the DD prepared. But Citibank never looked into my request and he assured me that I will get a call from CITI bank by 19th March and they will solve the problem.

        Further to inform that I was not having the adequate balance in my account so I have taken loan of Rs 10, 000/- from Citibank (Ready Credit) @ 26% p.a. for the admission of my child. I am paying the interest on the amount which I am not using it because of the mistake of Citibank. I had gone through deep stress and mental tension as I am not having money for my child admission and the loan which I have taken is also going in waste because of the mismanagement of Citibank.

        On 19th of March 2008, I again called Citibank this time I had a altercation with the executive named DIPTI and again I requested her to please cancel the DD or do the stop payment she refused she told me that you go to the Citibank branch and write a letter for cancellation they will cancel the DD when I requested her to give this in writing through mail she refused to do so and again she assured me that by 19th March end of the day I will get the call from Citibank who will sort out my issue. Till 8 PM I did not got any call from Citibank again at 8.30 I called Citibank and at that time all the Citibank lines were busy so the automated machine took my cell number and gave the message that Citibank will call me today by the end of business hour. Even though I did not received any call from Citibank.

        On 20th morning when I called Citibank this time I spoke to Sweta she told me that Citibank has received the DD at their DLF office and I can collect the DD from there today. She further told me that she will arrange the call and accordingly I can plan and collect the DD by the end of the day today. Till 12 PM I did not received any call from Citibank, I again called Citibank luckily this time also Sweta was on line and after doing the verification she assured me that she is checking the status at her end and she will call me within 20mts.
        Till 1.45PM I did not received any call from Citibank I again called Citibank and narrated again the entire story to the new executive and at the same time I requested her if she can help me to speak to Sweta, but she refused after going through the entire detail she told me that I can collect the Draft today from DLF office of Citibank, and she gave me the Citibank numbers as # 2565757 and 4186001 and told me to contact PARUL CHAWLA.
        She also requested to take my govt approved ID as a proof than only she will hand over the DD.

        I was not having the ID at that point of time but just to get confirmed and convey to Parul that she should keep the DD with her I will come to her office with an ID proof and collect the DD. But when I called Citibank on the above mentioned numbers there was no one who could pick the phone. After trying several times one guy picked up the phone and told me that there is no one in the office.
        Finally I went to Citibank office on 24th March 08 and picked up the draft after 8 days.

        I would like Citibank to answer my below queries and compensate me:-

        1. Citibank should not charge any INTEREST on the amount of Rs. 10, 000/- for the period 17th March to 23rd of March 2008.
        2. The Citibank should also reimburse the amount for man hours time, and phone charges which I have spent to get the DD.
        3. Since the issue of DD takes an hours and as per Citibank I was supposed to get in three working days why I have not got the same even they were not able to trace my address but I was I touch with them, since they were failed to deliver the DD on time Citibank should be suitably charged for that so that in near future there type of mistake will not be repeated.
        4. I have gone through very bad days due to shortage of money and for the admission of my son and further loss of DD has further made me tense and it stressed me a lot because Citibank was completely failed to satisfy the customer
        5. I was getting letters and couriers on the same address even from Citibank from last 2 years I have the proof of those envelops.
        6. Why the Citibank never called me since I was following rigorously for my DD and even after the assurance of citi phone officers that I will get the call on 19th and than on 20th.
        7. Citibank should also be penalized because I was not able to admit my child on time as well as I am not able to buy the books on time which my son should have utilized during this school holidays so I should also be compensated for this.

        I will request that Citibank will look into the above query and compensate me suitably and hope in future they will have better system and will not harm any of his valuable customers.

        It's so awful experience, Citibank should not charge you the interest for that particular time. Besides that they are responsible for the damages and expenses that had been occurred due to there misrepresentation.
        Wondering such a esteemed bank have no values for a lay man citizen and they are trying to expand there business in India.
        Moreover other citizens like us who are motivating the bank to get our hard earned money.
        Let's get together and throw some lights on these issues and force them to listen to us.

        My account [protected] (Salary Account) came to effect from April 2008, and my salary account was changed to a normal account with out intimating to me in July 2008, which I came to know when I spoke to Ashish (Citi bank Associate) today 15/10/2008. At the time of opening the account, I was told that you can draw money from any ATM and it will not be charged. Now I am seeing that there are number of service charges. Please look into my issue ASAP and advise me whether I should continue this account or not.

          Dear Concerned,

          I am holding a citibank credit card# [protected] (new card issued [protected]) in the name of O P Ratra.
          I had booked my air tickets on 31.10.07 where the card was swiped twice for the same booking.
          The amount was Rs. 4150.
          Since the interest has been charged by you on the amount not used by me, I am claiming refund from the agency through legal sources. For this they want to know the exact amount charged as interest on Rs.4150.
          Kindly provide me a consolidated amount charged as interest so that the same may be claimed from the agency.
          I had also written a letter on 26.02.2008 to The Head Customer Card, Citibank Card Centre, 766 Anna Salai, Chennai-600002 but have not heard back from them.
          Kindly send a hard as well as a soft copy so that I can take the refund.

            I have taken Car loan from Citi bank in Jun'03.

            Principal outstanding is not matching as per repayment schedule. On checking with Citi bank, it was conveyed that a cheque was returned unpaid on first instance in Nov'03, hence it has impacted the principal outstanding. They have also levied penalty charges on it.

            When I checked my bank statement, there is no cheque return charges applied by ABN AMRO bank. I have been paying in EMIs in time and no cheques have returned unpaid, hence I am not satisfied with Citi bank response to my grievance.

            When I applied for loan, EMI was to be paid by ECS and I submitted 6 EMI cheques blank dated as security. Due to some issue ECS was honoured ABN AMRO bank and I submitted remaining EMI post dated cheques and it was confirmed that security cheques will be returned to me. On repeated follows with Citi bank, I haven't received the security cheques.

              My name is akriti shakya. i am an employee of I-energiser, Noida.
              i had got this account opened as a salary account from the same company... i was to to receive my atm card and pin number on my mailing address.. However due to negligency of the bank, the card was handed over to an unauthorised person.. Due to which that was person has withdrawn Rs 13, 300/- from my office atm..
              I have been trying to run from the bank to the compnay howewver no action has ben taken to trace that person. When i went to the bank they informed me that i had to lodge a complaint over the phone to customer care, which i did and the reference number for the same is [protected]. i have blocked the atm card also... But the tragedy is that no action has been taken till date in regards to the same... and i would really be pleased if somene can look into the matter and help me in resolving the same for me as 13.300 is a heavy ammount for me...

              Citibank N.A — Unauthorised actions of Consumer Account

              Complaint Against: Citibank N.A

              I have an account with Citibank whose head office is located in Bangalore. On 31st of January 2012 I got
              a message on my mobile that the cheque that was sent to my account, would be sent back without any
              clear reason as to why the bank is taking such actions without my permission or consent. So I called
              the customer service team for an answer and I got through Ms. Sangeetha. U, who was one of the
              representatives, who told me that the name did not match? When I asked her which part did not match,
              she said it was last name. According to the cheque it has come as Jeevan Rajendra where as my account
              is under name of Jeevan R. As you can notice it very clear that there is no major difference in the name
              for them to take this action as only the initial is not elaborated. I understand there are situation when
              someone’s cheque would come to someone else's account but you can also find that in those cases the
              name would be completely different that is when the bank can take this action and stand by it. In this
              situation they could have called me and verified if I was expecting a cheque and from where and after
              cross verifying they could have kept the cheque and waited for me to provide proof of the name to
              collect the cheque.

              This cheque is from the PF Office which I have been waiting for the past 6 months and Citibank without
              my permission or authorization have sent the cheque back the PF Office which is located in Mumbai.
              So When I called them myself and while speaking to Ms. Sangeetha, I identified myself and told the
              representative that it is a cheque that I have been waiting from the past 6 months and it is from the PF
              Office. I also advised her to keep the cheque in the branch for me to come with documents for the name
              verification. Ms. Sangeetha said that she would do it and the cheque would be in the branch for sure
              the day after tomorrow and one of the representatives would give me a call to update on that. As the
              cheque would be in the branch I thought the issue has been sorted out and waited.

              On 2nd February 2012 as I did not get any call as promised by Ms. Sangeetha who had made a official
              request for a call to be made to me, to keep me posted of the situation but I never got a call. Before
              going to the branch I thought I would call and check if everything is in place for me to collect the
              Cheque. But the representative Mr. Aroop Babu (as confirmed by Citibank) told me that the cheque
              has been sent back and there is nothing that they can do about it. I was furious as I was misled by the
              previous agent who had told me it the issue would be sorted out. I asked to speak to a Supervisor that's
              when I got to speak to Mr. Venkatesh TGR who said that he understands that there is an error and he
              would try to get the cheque back from the courier office. He requested a day’s time to sort the issue out
              and spent a week wasting my time saying that he is still trying to get it back obviously the cheque had
              already gone back as it only takes a day or 2 for it to be delivered. So the Supervisor was just wasting my
              time with incorrect assurance that he would get it back waiting for me to give up in the process. He had
              called on 6th and 8th of February to give me the same update that he is working on it. I advised him it is
              sensitive issue and it needs to be addressed with high priority.

              On 9th of February, there was a limit to the extension that Mr. Venkatesh required and I forced him to
              get me an answer right away as to what is happening with the request that's when the Supervisor told
              me that he can't do anything as the cheque has already reached the destination. In that conversation
              I also came to know that I was not talking to a Supervisor as Mr. Venkatesh TGR was just a senior
              agent located in Chennai. I was not happy with all the wrong advice or information and identities not
              disclosed. I clearly requested to speak to a Supervisor or Manager as he is the person who has some
              level of authority to get things done but I was deceived, and wasted my time with a senior agent who
              did not do anything at the end.

              I also spoke to managers 2 mangers from Citibank, on 10th February 2012 I spoke to Karpagam Lakshmi
              who had nothing new to say and had called just as a formality because I had requested for a callback
              and a complaint to be logged. All Ms Karpagam Lakshmi had to say was that she apologized for the
              inconvenience caused by the agents. I asked Ms. Lakshmi to take this error caused by them as process
              update as it is clear mistake from their end. I asked to me give a call as no resolution was provided. Ms
              Lakshmi said she would call back after checking as to what she can do.

              On 13th of February 2012, I Spoke to Ms. Anandhi D who is also a manager, she had called regarding the
              same issue and I was not happy with the call as I was talking to a different person and each time I would
              have to go through the process explaining the entire issue again which is just a waste of time as they
              could have to assigned just one person to handle it. While I was explaining to Ms Anandhi, the manager
              confirmed to me that the agents were given feedback and appropriate training will be given to them
              which basically meant that they accepted their mistake and that would be reason the 2 agents I spoke
              to were getting feedback and special training for them. The manager continued with the excuses the
              rest of the people have been giving all this days and still there is no official apology or resolution from
              Citibank till date.

              So there is lot of breaches from Citibank

              1. They sent the cheque back without verifying with the customer.

              2. On whose authority did they send the cheque back that came to my account number?

              3. The agent I spoke to gave me wrong information by telling me the cheque would be available at the
              branch.

              4. I never received a call back to update me on anything related to the transaction; initially I had to call
              every time though it was their responsibility.

              5. I requested to speak to a Supervisor but was transferred to a Senior Agent who did not introduce
              himself as a senior agent.

              6. The Senior Agent try to assure me with false promises.

              7. They made go through the hassle of applying for the PF Amount again though I didn't have to go
              through that in the first place, which means It would take another 6 months for me get the amount.

              I would request the authorized person to look into the matter and help me out here as the amount that
              I was waiting for was very important for me and the bank thought they can do whatever and get away
              with it. The Bank could have handled the issue in a better way which would have given them the right
              results instead they chose to be adamant about it. So I would request if justice can be served in this
              matter.

                For the past two three months I have not been receiving the credit card statement either by post or via e-mail. I only receive message on the mobile for the amount payable and a mini statement which show the amount to be paid. Due to non-receipt of statement it is impossible to know the amount of purchases (If any) i have made. It is requested that the credit card statement with full details may be mailed to my e-mail address as well as sent by post as a hard copy for further references.                 I Mr. Ashok Khaladkar Credit card No.[protected], My Credit Card payment for the month of Jan 2013 is Rs.610/- and this amount paid before due date ( 6th feb 2013 ). But after next month bill ( Feb 2013 ) there is a charged late payment charges Rs.300/- from your Bank.

                But I paid Rs.610/- in time. Regarding this late payment charges I contact to Citi Bank. But they 3 - 4 times ignored my call and not given any single replay to me. Then I contact to Citi Bank Customer Care Center regarding this. They told me that to send a mail on this mail id. your problem will be solve after 2 days.

                I m holding citi bank credit card. so far so forth I have not received one single bill neither by post or by mail. Only I received the messages are coming in the mobile phone. This month i.e. on 4th November I made a payment of Rs. 7962. Again in this month I have received another message to pay an amount of Rs. 5719.00 on or before 28th Nover'2013. I do not understand about my billing cycle or my expenditure. I feel after paying my due amount I should through out this card. Hell with your service. Even you deliberately printed your customer service no. so small so that no one can understand the number also. I am going to lodge a complain in the Consumer Court. I want to see to an end. You can not cheat the people.

                  Hi,
                  I am unwillingly writing this as I have been forced by the situation Citibank has created for me. I DO NOT expect such an unprofessional and unethical behavior towards a loyal customer of Citibank. This space is actually too small and impractical to narrate to you the kind of harassment that I have experienced. However, I have managed to find little time from my busy schedule to summarize the bad weather at my end.
                  I am using an Indian Oil Citibank credit card ([protected]) from about more than 4 years. On march 2006 I received a call with an offer from your bank of Rs.1, 47, 000/- loan on this card. I took the loan and started paying the EMIs. After about 10 months I started receiving calls from the bank reminding me about the outstanding amount and forcing me to pay the minimum amount payable as soon as the statement generates (which means in the first week of every month). Whereas my last date of payment is on 21st of every month according to the statement I receive. Also it is important to note that from the beginning I have given a standing instruction to my CitiBank Suvidha account for the payment. I was getting these kind of calls in every 2/3 days. I was trying my best to make them understand that I have given a standing instruction to my Suvidha account and they don’t have to remind me all the time. But all my efforts were useless. It was clearly understandable that they wanted me to pay off the total loan amount in one shot. I had taken the loan for 4 years and it was quite impossible for me at that point of time. In due course, I was offered an additional loan of Rs. 99, 000/- on the condition that they will close the previous amount and I’ll have to bear the interests and EMIs of the combined amount (the previous amount + currently offered amount i.e. Rs.1, 15, 380/- + Rs. 99, 000/- = Rs. 2, 14, 380/-).
                  And, now I get calls from Citibank almost every day (Ph no.[protected] for ref), asking me for the payment knowing the fact that all payments are in the form of standing instructions. This has become so irritating that I am losing my reputation amongst my family and friends or co-workers. This is a serious matter for me now and I DO NOT want such calls anymore. Why does anybody have to call me when I am paying EMIs on time? Why should I explain when I am going to pay through STANDING INSTRUCTION? – This sounds so foolish! Or Citibank has hired tele-callers to harass people who are somehow associated with the bank. They have called me uncountable times. This kind of behavior indicates that Citibank wants me to clear all the remaining amount at one go, which is unfair and against the law.
                  I don't know whether it makes sense mentioning it here... The complain section in the Citibank website is something which I think is for fun. Any complains made through this never reaches them... some irritating link error is popped up at your face - seems like they don’t want to receive any complains from you.

                  Such a response forcefully makes me conclude that if this is what they offer in terms of complains then what would be the level of seriousness and professionalism offered to Citibank customers.
                  I need suggestion on this…….

                  Subject: Fraud regarding repayment of loan.

                  Dear Sir or Madam:

                  With reference to the above subject I am requesting you thru this letter regarding the loan, which I have taken for my business purpose Rs. 3, 55, 000/- (Rs. Three lac fifty five thousand only) that I was repaying regularly to Citibank branch Pune. A month back I received a call from Citibank regarding my balance loan to be repaid amounting to Rs. 1, 51, 800/-. As a received the call from the bank, I personally went to the East Street branch and submitted the receipts (photocopies) against which I have paid the said amount.

                  Bank official has informed me that the said receipt amount is not reflecting in the books of loan account in bank system. Then I went to Citishelter Bank premium point, II nd Floor, M G Road, Pune and met with Mr. Peter, Manager who asked to handover originals for verification purpose. So I submitted the required copies to Mr. Yogesh Tendulkar for verification purpose and photocopies were retained by me. The whole case have been carefully listen by Mr. Peter and advised me to call him back after 10-12 days on his Mobile No. [protected].

                  When I called again after 10 days to Mr. Peter he gave me a new number [protected] as this matter was escalated to higher authorities and also informed us that he will be on leave so the matter should be referred on the above given number. When I called on this number I have been informed that the matter has been taken up for approval however after two days this number was just ringing. Finally I once again visited the branch and met with Mr. Yogesh Borate who informed me that I will get back the receipt amount which I have paid i.e. Rs. 60, 000/- & Rs. 40, 000/- however I will not get back the remaining Rs. 60, 000/-. When I asked the reason of it I have been informed by Mr. Yogesh that I should do what ever I want and even Consumer Forum / Court could not do anything against us.

                  When I asked for Loan Account Statement that times my account was still reflecting that Rs. 1, 51, 800/- is still outstanding. I once again call Head Office Manager on[protected] and talked to reception Ms. Surabhi who checked on her system and informed me that the entries are not seen in loan account and gave me a complain number[protected] and requested me to call back after 5 days for taking feedback.

                  Next day I got a call from Mumbai of Mr. Paritosh[protected] saying that Rs. 1, 00, 000/- will be approved however for remaining paid Rs. 60, 000/- could not be traced hence could not get adjusted against outstanding. The reason given was as the original receipt is not with me hence could not be taken into consideration that means based on photocopy of receipt alongwith date / receipt number / signature etc. bank is not ready to given credit to my account.

                  For your kind information please note when I have taken repaid the amounts fully against the outstandings following figures have been seen in my account statement details are as follows –

                  Now can I know why still outstanding are seen in loan statement after repaying the whole amount of Rs. 1, 60, 000/-. I am even not able to understand the behavior of Bank employees / officials. When I am producing the receipts why can’t simply they go thru the dates of the receipt and search / reconcile the statements verses receipts, dates wise, amount wise and receipt number wise and why a client should suffer so much for the misdeeds of the bank official. For a simple matter there were many calls, visits, discussions, and meetings and finally outcome is pathetic. This is not expected from a bank like Citibank who has big name in the market however internally it is worse then any co-operative bank.

                  Before I highlight this matter with your higher-ups & into Consumer Forum / Court, Press, I like to give a fair chance to your branch to take the necessary steps in this matter and resolve it at the earliest. I have relationship with big business lobbies of Maharashtra and don’t think that it is a kind of warning however the cruel reality is before doing any action against you legally take it as a opportunity and revert with confirmations.

                  I am a citi bank credit card holder. I was using my credit card from last 8 month, everything was going normal. One day I got a call from Citi bank credit card department, they offered me some Insurance Plan. They gave me the details regarding the Insurance through call. I denied to accept the policy but they forced me to listen it. I have told them to call me later once I take my family permission, but they din't gave me the chance to cut the call and at that movement they have clearly informed me that they will send a documents regarding the policy in your mailing address and if you are interested accept it otherwise call us within 15 day after receiving the document to reject the policy, this was the pre-condition kept by them in front of me. In this condition, I have given my few minutes to them.But I din't receive any documents from there side.
                  After few days I came to know that something around 9000 rps has been Charged on my Credit card. When I came to know about it, I gave a call to them and have canceled the policy. At that time they din't informed me about any charge for the cancellation. After few month, I came to know that there is a 5800 amount outstanding in my Credit card. I again called them and denied to pay the amount but they are forcing me to pay the amount. They say's that flow doesn't work like this, we dont send any documents. Whatever we do we do it in call. In every 2 day they calls me regarding the same. I want to say that when I was not interested then how can u people start such Insurance and charge for it.
                  Before I highlight this matter into Consumer Forum / Court, Press, I like to give a fair chance to your branch to take the necessary steps in this matter and resolve it at the earliest. My uncle use to work with Times of India group, it will not take much time for me to raise the complaint regarding the same. So please take the neccesary step at the earliest.

                    This is in reference to the conversation the recovery department have had with me several time and I have informed the department about my inability to pay your charges levied on my card. I time and again stated that the good health policy which your company unilaterly charged on my card without my consent and knowledge. As usualy I have informed your office time and again that I will not pay the charges on my card. because the policy was charged without my consent. Hence I hereby request your good office to waive the charges levied on my card at the earliest otherwise I will sent the card to your office Once again I request you no to harass me for repayment.                         Dear Sir/Madam

                        This is in reference to hutch citibank card # [protected], ref # 79603013. I want you to know that I had been offered this card in my company premises via promotional campaing, on the condition that any kind of service would not be activated without my instructions.
                        I had paid my Vodafone bill as usual by cheque # 430398 on 24th jan'08.However, I came to learn that the same bill was also paid through hutch citibank card in my name.
                        I had not given any standing instructions to either Citibank or Vodafone to pay my mobile bills.
                        I have also launched complaint at the Vodafone Store to cease accepting payment through card in my name.

                        I will continue to pay my bills personally through cheques and do not want to avail any credit card facility.

                        Kindly deactivate this card as I will be paying my bills personally and will not entertain any of such services.

                        I had a similar experience. Citibank Hutch card paid my mobile bill amount without my consent. I had paid the bill via a cheque at the same time. Citibank recovery cell is now chasing me for the bill amount whereas they should be recovering the money from Hutch (Vodafone). The the issue is not settled and they have added me into the CIBIL defaulter list.

                        Please be aware of Citibank tactics.

                        I have never taken any credit card from any bank. CIBIL report says I have taken credit cards and used. It badly affects my credit score and if I cannot avail the loan due to this. Please help on this

                          Respected Sir/Madam,

                          I had a credit card with Citibank since 2004, everything was going fine till my problems started in May 2006. I had authorized the bank to withdraw the payment from my savings account with the same bank. However May 2006 onwards, they stopped withdrawing the payment. I came across this is July 2006 that the last two months payment hasnt been withdrawn, i wrote to their email support and got a confirmation from them that the last two months late fee and fines has been withdrawn and they asked me to send an authorization letter along with an address change request to be snail mailed to their head office in Chennai which i did. After that also they did not start withdrawing the payment and since then i have been making follow ups with the bank, no good. End of last year i came to know that the outstanding balance on my card is ~ 50, 000 INR. My case was handed over to the collections department. They informed me that i need to pay 22, 000 INR to setlle my dues to which i agreed. I asked them that before making the payment i would like to see the details of my card since the beginning. To my shock when i saw the details, the total amount including purchase, fine and late fine till July 2006 was 34, 107 and till Mar 2007 i had paid 39, 573 (5000 in excess of what i had used). Now upon contacting the collection manager, when i said this is not right, he offered 15, 000 INR and then came down to 12, 000 INR. Since Januray he has not repsonsed to my mail. I need to know what are my options from here.

                          DEAR SIR,
                          I HAVE ALREADY MADE THE PAYMENT OF Rs> 4992/- THROUGH CHEQUE OF ICICI BANK AGAINST CREDIT CARD NO - [protected] ON 02/07/08 BEFORE THE DUE DATE OF 07/07/2008. I HAVE NOT REGISTERED FOR THE ECS FACILITY FOR THE SAID CARD. CITIBANK HAVE WITHDRAWN Rs. 4911.44/- FROM MY ACCONT AGAIN THROGH ECS . THEY HAVE DONE THE SAME THING WITH RESPECT TO OTHER CREDIT CARD NO - [protected] OF rS. 37660/-. THE PAYMENT I HAVE ALREADY MADE THROUGH CHEQUE AND AMOUNT HAVE BEEN DEBITED FROM BANK ACCOUNT.                           My name is Sinith Mechery .On 29/02/09, my credit card was lost. As soon, I got aware of the same I called your customer service department to block my card. On their request, I filed an FIR.
                          But by the time I was aware of the same, the card was already misused at 'Kalamandir', a Jewellery store at Shop no 7, Utkarsh CHS Ltd, PLot no 245, Fish Market Charkop, Kandivali (W).

                          The activities of the person who misused my card are :

                          1. Rs. 43000/- Time 7.20 Authorization code ; 00975.
                          2. Rs. 10000/- Time 7.21 Authorization code : 0041941
                          3. Rs. 12000/- Time 7.22 Authorization code : 012979

                          All of the above mentioned activities have taken place at the same shop which is 'Kalamandir'. The shopkeeper had submitted a fake license copy claiming to be mine to the Merchant's Bank which is HDFC. Their Risk Management Team has placed the Merchant's money on Hold as is ominient that this is a clear case of fraud.

                          The card was again swiped at the same Merchant the next day. I have alreayd submitted a copy of the FIR and the customer declaration form to your customer service department.

                          I request you to please look into the matter at the earliest priority.

                          I receive calls, saying we are calling from Citi bank Mount road branch, chennai.
                          Offering Platinum credit card, but they are pushing me to take card, but then i am already having 2 credit cards and holding salary account in citi bank, they are asking for the ID proof etc...So i had asked for the contact details of them...but they are avoiding to give saying some reasons like we don't have access to emails.

                          But as per the notice received from banks often, they clearly mentioned not to share any of the details...so i was little nervous.

                            There have been numorous debits from my account from Citibank.
                            One fine day I find that more than 500 Rupees have been swapped out without my awareness, I call the citibank Customer care adn they reply saying that its the "renewal Fees" for my card, I told them that I dont want to use the card, and I want my money back, they then stopped my card and did not return the money now they are saying that I have to pay additional 500 rupees to get another card!! this is rediculous!! one I have already paid the renewal fees, they are not ready to issue a card on that money...

                            I M Anil Kumar My Suvidha A/C no. is [protected].
                            I Hv been writing you mail since around two months but i didnt get any positive response from Citibank. The issue is that i have two credit cards of Citibank, their last four digits are 6003 and 6019, bcoz due to some personal problems( my father expired two months ago ) i could not give c/card minimum amt due on time bcoz of financial crisis in my family. Instead of showing sympathy, Citibank has blocked/ debited my Suvidha A/c no.[protected] Rs- 6894) without my Authorisation Now when i called up citibank officers Mr Ish guleria ( floor supervisor)and Mr Brijender( floor manager) they told me that there are some standing Instructions stating that if i am unable to pay my minimum amt due for c/cards then Citibank is gonna deduct that amt from my suvidha a/c.

                            Is that kind of behaviour does a Citi customer should expect from CITIBANK ???

                            For your kind info. I have not authorised Citibank to debit that amt from my Suvidha a/c I have not signed any document regarding that. In addition to this when i was opening my suvidha a/c in feb 2007 i refused to take any c/card from citi but still citibank made it why???

                            Now that I M already very tensed and if something happens to me psychologically, Only Citibank will be responsible for that and thats why i m writing you this mail for my future records
                            For ur info i m the only person in my family who is earning right now and if citi keeps on debiting from my a/c how will i run my family

                            For now as my salary is gonna credited in another one day I want You to normalise my saving a/c with immediate effect and i promise to pay the amount for c/cards and if you dont then i m gonna file a police case against Citi stating that you deducted my money from my a/c without my authorisation also I may file a case of harrasment and claiming amount in reverse from CITIBANK bcoz of the torture that Citi gave me and my family

                              Iam the customer of Citi Bank Name : Sandeep Kumar B / PH : [protected] and i have been using Citi Card Credit from 2005. Please be advise me inspite of making so many calls to customer care i didn't get proper response and no proper solution has been provided, the thing is i have a loan of 3, 26, 740.00 on my Credit Card No: [protected]. And every month iam paying my EMI of 10, 834.00 on regular basis.

                              And i called customer care to know the formalities for closer of the loan and i was been advised saying rather than settling the loan they will reduce the rate of interest and said they will call me back to confirm me the rate of interest.

                              But till date i haven't received the call nor any email from th past 2 months so i called again on 8th JUNE 2009 but your customer care executive Name : Vijay kept me on hold for half n hour and disconnected my call. Another issue is that my loan due date was given as 13th of every month and now without my knowledge it has been changed to 7th of every month.

                              Kindly provide me the solution fo the above mentioned problems otherwise i would like to settle the loan amount.

                              On 16.11.2010 -Courier boy came for delivering credit card and asked to show ID proof; by the time old lady could climb down the first floor stairs and show ID Proof, the courier boy went away, saying her to be ready with ID Proof to-morrow and he has not turned back till now.
                              Such like harrassment to senior citizens who can't run like atheletes is a matter of grave concern;because the total time taken in courier boy coming and running away was two and a half minutes only. THIS IS SHAMEFUL.

                                I have a savings bank account (No [protected]) with Citi Bank having a cash balance around Rs.19,500/-. In this matter I herewith submit the following for your kind consideration immediate necessary action please.

                                1) That, when I approached Citi Bank, Mumbai branch to withdraw my money, I was told that the account has already been closed. by Citi Bank some months back and a DD has already been sent to me.
                                2) That, when I told that neither I have ever requested for closer of my account nor I have received any DD from Citi Bank side, then I was asked by your representative to write an application to your Chennai office in this regard ( at Anna Sarai Address) to send the check/DD to my new address ( Prageti Verma, R. A. B. S. 18th floor, Express Towers, Nariman Point, Mumbai - 400021) and contact Customer Care after 4 days.
                                3) That, accordingly I submitted the application and called the customer care after 4 working days. The Customer Care Deptt. told me that no application has been received at your office and a day after, when I again contacted them I was told to write another application to the same address giving them the information about my new address.
                                4) That, as suggested I wrote another application and kept calling your Customer Care Deptt. again and again to check if the application has been received at your end or not, but I was told that no information was received and that I should wait for some more time.
                                5) That, when I contacted Smt. Kalpana Chauhan, Service Manager Citi Bank, Mumbai, she told me that it is her personal responsibility to see that my money is paid to me. But I have neither received my money nor any communication from their side.
                                6) That, around four months have passed but I have neither received my money nor I have received any communication from your side. Whenever I call your Customer Care Deptt. I am being told that they will look into the matter and I may enquire after 3 to 4 days.
                                7) That, it appears that some one in City Bank has played a frod with my account and has eaten up my money and that's why a mysterious silence is being maintained. I therefore request you to immediately look into the matter and my money deposited with City Bank must be returned to me at the earliest. Any Check / DD shall be payable to my ICICI bank A/C No:[protected].

                                I am addressing this email to all the email ids I found on internet assuming at least any one can help me on the below given issue.

                                I keep getting calls to my cellphone for somebody called GIRISH. I have been repeatedly telling you over the phone (whenever I get such a call) as that my phone (ending with 554) is mine (Card # ending with 6006) and not Girish. So you are expected to remove that number against GIRISH name. Despite all my requests you have not bothered to do so and continued to harass me for the last 3 Months. I have recorded today's telephonic conversation by two of your employees calling from Mumbai.                                 This is with utmost unpleasant experiences i have countered with the citi car loan dept, i need a clear written justification of why a foreclosure letter was issued to a third party without my consent & i had to undergo severe task myself after rigorous follow up with various authority & counters toget the same.
                                also i am very sure about the gold coin offer, after almost 2 dozenful of emails some executive have called on me & after giving my feedback i am told that i have authorised the third person to receive the letter, in fact all my emailks i have been complaining only one point that if you can issue such letter to third person without my oral or written consent why have you people made me run to various dept, banks & call centre exs. i have not authorised anyone for the same. i need concrete investigation of the matter else i am approaching the required consumer froums, also i need the gold coin which was definately sssold to me, also I have a citi personal laon going on & am regurlarly paying the same, i need a gold coin for the same.

                                to sum it up citi bank owes me 2 gold coin & a investigated reply about the forclosure letter else i shall demand a compensation for that also.

                                On 14th Jan 2008 on the suggestion of CITI Banks Relationship Manager Mr. Nitin Vishwanath, Pune, i choose to go for Birla Sun Life Policy (Saral Jeevan - Fund coverage, Saral Jeevan Life Cvg - Term 20 Pay Reg) through CITI banks credit card.
                                In the beginning only i had made it clear to Mr. Nitin that i will pay premium just one year and will withdraw the amount after its locking period i:e after 3 years. Mr. Nitin had told me that its OK if i pay premium only one year, he had not mentioned of any charges if i don't pay premium for 2nd and 3rd year. Even after i asked him will there be any charges if i don't pay premium for 2nd and 3rd year, he said "NO".
                                Why these Relationship Manager speaks lie to there customers?
                                Now when I talked to Birla Sun Life officers they told me if i don't pay premium for 2nd and 3rd year they will apply me surrender charges upto 15000.
                                What should I do now? These managers are destroying faith of customers and also destroying the name of Bank.
                                From this yaer I will be paying heavy home loan EMI’s, so I am not in condition to continue paying premium of Birla Sun Life. Please stop recruiting such bluffer.

                                These is related to my lost card no.[protected] on dated 18/11/2009.FIR done for the same at Tilaknagar police station.
                                1)Spoke to citibank executive on 18th night the communication done to him to block the card and hold the payment for the vendor as the sign is not mine and he revert that sign is not important with any sign on chart slip they are liable to pay and revert me that one of officer will revert to you on query.
                                2)It was told to your executive were should i submit my all documents. He told there is no need for the same.
                                3)Today morning Mr.Anandi B gave me a call from chennai which was like harassment call were she stated that any sign on chart slip Citi bank is liable to pay to vendor no sign of customer is important on the slip and there is no importance for the sign beyond the orignal card any sign on chart slip we have to pay the vendor. No verfiction or investigation will be done from citi bank.If i have to resolve the issue i have to personally manage the vendor.Chart slip will be provided to me to fight against the vendor.
                                4)Then i gave the call on same no. were i spoke to citi bank officer Mr.klevin joseph who handles credit call escalation as wat he stated.While coversation with him he used to state that these is RBI guidlines states that any sign on chart slip we have to pay to vendor whatever may be the signature.I was telling again and again to all of them that sign is not mine you can investigate but still everyone harp on the same thing that signature is not important for any transaction which i feel is not correct as there is no importance for signature of card holder for any transaction.Even your executive denied to give his own email id has he state that he dont have email id.
                                Even none of your officer were able to give me vendor address were these swaping was done as they dont know the address for the same.Chart slip will be provided to me after 45 days.Many statement done by your officer were against the RBI guidlines they were not sure about the same than why to comment on the same.So such untrained executive creats bad impression and wrong feedback about RBI and about Citi bank.If certain things are not know then that should be reverted later on rather than commenting on the same.For authentitation go through calls made by your officer which has been recored for quality purpose.
                                5)Main query is that officer are rude in there calls not ready to get at root of problem and are unaware of terms and condition with respect to Creditcards so how can they solve query.
                                6)Transaction of Rs 5318/- is not my transaction and its not my signature.So i requets Citi bank to investigate the same as it is vendor fault which have not verified the sign on the card.You can also check my history with your card and the payment done by me.
                                7)Request is to kindly go through the matter and resolve the same as soon as possible.Require for your revert for the same.

                                i have been a long standing customer of citi bank, but i look forward never to bank with citi, as they are ripping me off month on month. I have a suvidha account and i have been receiving my salary on that account and noticed a large sum of money cut every month, so i decided to go to the bank on reaching the bank i was asked to fill out a corporate movenment form as i did, now according to the company rules of DELL international THEY DO NOT GIVE RUBBER SEALS as citi bank is well aware of . A sigature of the corporate HR and a certificate of employnment is what is provided when reaching the bank its simply not excepted.WHY? so that the cust still has to keep getting ripped of[censored]ntil he stopps banking with this bank i would never let any corporate try to deal with this bank.

                                Good Morning! This is in regards to the salary account I have wiwth CitiBank as below. As I wanted to check the timings of one of the branches in Hyderabad (SP Road, Begumpet, Hyd-500003), I wanted to get to know the branches phone number. I found 6666 2484 number on the net and after going through the entire messages by dialing 1, 6 and other numbers from my phone, I finally could get hold of Ms. Glary (this is what she told her name was), after almost 20 mins or so.

                                First of all when I told her that when I took the option to find the location of the branch or any information of the branch, I had to take option 6 and then 2 and enter the pin code 500 003 and after going this procedure 3-4 times, each time I was getting a message stating that the pin code was wrong, this person didn't know seem to know how the customer care number works and asked as to how I went through this process. When I asked the phone number of this branch, she was reluctant to pass it to me stating that it is a rule of CitiBank not to provide phone numbers of branches. What kind of service is this I don't understand? Then she put me on hold for 3-4 mins stating that she would ask her manager to talk with me and eventually came back stating that all the managers are busy and said that one of them would give me a call and it is more than 1 hour that no one has called me.

                                Then she person asks my account number once again and asked for my date of birth and when I asked for the phone number of the branch she said she can't give it and when I asked her as to why she asked my DOB and other information, she disconnected the phone. I don't know as to what kind of Bank I am dealing with, it is my money that I have deposited and maintaining and when it comes to getting to know some information, why is the bank trying to make us follow their rules.

                                Anyways, I feel that this is total HARASSMENT/FRAUD/CHEAT from such a big bank like CITIBANK, trying to hide the phone numbers of the branches as I am not sure why don't like to pass the phone number. Also, as it is my salary account, I will be talking with my Finance People today and make sure that all the salary accounts of my compamy are withdrawn as the way they treated me is not acceptable. I may also go one way ahead of filing a fraud/harassment case against CITIBANK people for the kind of treatment they have given me.

                                  I am very old credit card holder of citibank. Previous month I made a payment of Rs 3200/- with cheque well in time but unfortunately the date on the cheque was written wrong. As a result of which you are charging late payment fee.
                                  It is mentioned that I have always make the payment on time.You are requested to waved off the late payment fee as this is happens first time. I will take care in future.

                                    i have a citibank gold credi card and they have started debiting interest charges on a magic calculation every month. When i asked for clarification over the telephone helpline number, they told they will call me back with the details, nothing happend.

                                    now they are telling they will forward the information to Credit information beauro of India and they will list my profile negative. I told them very clearly, they will have to pay for that too if they does it.
                                    I got this credit card since last two years but not yet receive my pin number to withdraw cashfrom the atm i have send complaint but non of the action has been taken on it
                                    Your call centre staff only for demanding the payments not for any types of compliants of the customer. In one day at least six telephone calls for the delay of the payments whereas i complined many times for the wrong debit done on my card on account of Health Insurance renewal charges . I never agreed for the renewal of such health insurnce. I replied to your staff many times for settiling this issue . Today someboday called and threatened to debit the interest in my account. You should understand the pain of a person is getting six to sevn calls in one day when I am attending important meeting etc and tell such things what will be the reaction of the customer . These types of services I am getting from CITI GROUP . This is the only reason I am not using your card at all . If you can send me final total outstanding on my loan, I will payback in one go and close this card account. After that I will surrender this card for cancellation. I am not interested to deal with such services.

                                      Citibank personal Loan Dept took the ECS amount of Rs 2350 out from my HDFC bank Account while I already Deposited the same on the 6-feb-2008 AS due to some reasons My account was not funded sufficiently. I called Citibank for the same to inform them and they told me that if you deposit this to our collection Office Located at Mathura Road before 7-feb-2008 there would be no late fee charges .                                       I have got a home loan (Loan no 119610) running since 2005 with this bank.It was a home saver loan in which a 0 balance current account was opened in parallel.I was told to trf the funds in this account every month which I was doing .In the course of time the rate of int went up from 8.75 to 11.25 but my instalment remained the same.Then in the month of Nov 2007 I delayed the deposit in account and I deposited 8000 on 28 Nov and 9000 on 29 Nov which I should have deposited by 15 Nov.But instead of treating this deposit as an instt for Nov the bank took this amount as towards OD account which I am not clear.Then I deposited instt for Dec in cash and their executive took it.I was given a receipt and this instt for Dec was set off against the instt of Nov .Thus by this way even now I am back by 1 month instt although I have deposited for every month.There is no hearing anywhere and I am still not clear where the instt has been adjusted to.I wanted to personally visit the branch but they dont want to entertain me on this .Now they have ruined my image in the credit market and I am not able to borrow the other loan.I want a strict action to be taken against them.

                                      Citibank — Policy given without request

                                      I have this card from Citibank on which they have given me a "Good Health Policy" without any request from my side. After a few months they levied charges on that. And then on they kept leving service tax and latepayment fee every month. This is happening since 2005. I have sent then couple of registered posts to their post box no. telling them the issue and that I am beign asked to pay all this amount without my using the card even once.
                                      I have this card which has never been used and has so much amount attched to it. I don't know how to close this whole thing with all the money waived off. Please help.

                                      Dear Citi bank officer,

                                      I have been a citi bank credit card holder during[protected]. I had paid all my dues during my association spanning over 4 years. My statments can be reviewed .

                                      I write to bring to you that the credit card relationship that was severed with citi bank in 2005 merely for levying a meagre Rs 175/-, penal charges for non payment of dues in time during 2003.I had a requested for a reversal humbly, citing the facts that the statment was not received by me in time hence the resultant delay.
                                      Those were the days, when system of telecalling/ internet banking was not very popular.

                                      I did not get a resolve from a bank that Claims "it never sleep."

                                      Finally after harrassing calls, repeated request for reversal during[protected], I stopped using my card as a protest wef 5/2005 and paid my last purchsase thate were megre Rs.47/-. A relationship with a banker who does not vallue the integrtity (for mere Rs 175/) of a client that who has enjoyed a credit worthy relationship running into lakhs, was to end and it did in 2005.I have even prepared the break of the cahrges and by purchases that have been debited to my account during[protected]. I had even requested one of the caller agents that the breakup of my sttament of account could be provided to them which will show that these charges have been mistakenly leveied on my account and are nothing but the build up on interest thereon. Only way to resolve would be to reverse it. Seems this is a good case of mountain out of molehill.

                                      During[protected] I received umpteen harassing calls.Statments that are just churning our figures day in day out without somebody bothering to look at the fine print of the base of these figures.

                                      I have been away from India for past many years.

                                      The amount was at continuesI gather that the outstanding amount per these statements that now show figure in thousands keep being mailed to me randomly.

                                      I just once again request someone to look into the facts of the case, and look at my sttaments during my association and after it has been severed to resolve this issue once and for all.
