I have been contacted by Citibank credit card sales team they asked me to buy an Insurance Policy of New India Insurance. I already have health insurance from the same provider and coverage was also good, so I said I am not interested. They said that if I am not claiming anything for entire year then I will get 20000 back. I said how is that possible, as a premium I am just paying around 7700 and I will get 20000 back. I said since I already have policy so I will never claim and can get 20000 back. It does not seems practical. Then he said that your name has been chosen by lottery and that is the reason you are getting this unbelievable offer. I confirmed this many time and he says yes that I will get 20000 back. Now when I am claiming the money after one year they are saying that 20000 will be added to next year policy as bonus. This is a pure case of cheating. They never even send the Insurance policy document and didn’t get my signature and deducted 7700. I am asking them to furnish the voice recorded between myself and their representative but they are not able to provide it. I don’t know based on what they deduct the money. I want to take this matter to highest possible level.

    Greetings of the day,
    I Manish Kumar Malhotra, resident of N-C-10 canal colony okhla village new delhi-25([protected]) is a saving bank account holder
    (account no.[protected]) in citibank nehru place, but recently when i checked my mini statement of account i have found that bank is debited Rupees 280/-every month from my account and then i went to bank regarding my complaint but the lady at there told me that i have not maintained the minimum balance of Rs10, 000/-whereas my account is a zero balance account.i have lost a huge amount of money from my that account, since i was not monitoring my satatement considering the bank is a reputed and faithful financial institution but the amount is in thousands.
    i request you to do the needful as soon as possible because i am in big financial crisis.

      Dear / Respected Sir,
      i was having a city bank bank credit card No.[protected] last 2 feb 08. i have made the settlement with these bank all the full & final settlement letter Ref: [protected]/920603 from them. I paid full &final payment on 4 feb 08by cash. there are no issues from my side. i need to know my present status in your criteria by these bank as they submitted. or please tell me the way how can i be totally free from these kinda harassments. as per todays position, i have applied for a loan of Loan Angeist Property but ICICI bank has pending to approve.as i am having all my accounts in ICICI for last 3 years approx and doing good transaction . i need to know the exact reason or other way, how can i be free from these situations? please guide me properly.

        sir,
        I m receiving the bill from your bank for above card, but i m sorry to say that i have never applied and not received for the same.For regarding the payment several times, i m receiving phone calls from your bank and everytime i m requesting that kindly stop sending me the bill and cancel the card.
        but nowadays threaten is given to me that bank will pickup me or my family.for this matter i met with your bank person Mr. Harshit on 19 nov.08 with the application, he has given me assurance that he will resolve the matter and that i have to pay Rs 1000 for the settlement and i will get the No dues letter from the bank, i was angered for the same.
        from 20 nov. daily i m asking for the letter no correct answer i am getting, one day he told me that letter has come and his man Mr. Ravi Rana will delivered the letter to my house on dated 24 nov.and also Mr. Ravi Rana told me the same.but still i have not receive the letter.
        nowadays i am mentally disturbed, so kindly resolve the matter.

          Dear Sir,

          My name is Gagandeep Mohindra and my Date of birth is 23/11/1982. Address :- GH-8, Flat no. 308, Meera Bagh, Paschim Vihar, ND-110063

          Even though I have cleared all my dues with the Citi Bank (Loan A/c no LCBC[protected] & Citi Financial after taking the Loan, It was foreclosed due to the ECS is not getting cleared (Bcz of ECS mandate form was not sent to my bank and the service issue from banker side) written letter of foreclosure & apology letter is also sent by both the banks. In this regard Both the Bank has sent me a letter pertaining to the foreclose of my loan A/cs, they have also informed me through an email & the hard copy of the same is also with me pertaining to foreclosure of both A/c's, Now I am mailing the same to banks but no any positive response is received

          Now, Recently I have applied the Credit card from Standard & Charted Bank, the Application was got rejected due to my name is appearing in the CBIL due to the reason that I have settled the loan instead of foreclosure.

          Sir, Please look into the matter urgently and please remove my name from the default list and please also confirm with Standard & charted Bank pertaining to my credit card Application, As I am already a credit card holder of more than 4-5 banks with a credit limit of Rs 1 lac above is assigned on most of the cards & not even a single due is there on any card as of date. In addition to this a Citibank has also provided the credit card having a limit more than Rs 1 lac, & Even a Loan offer is still there on the same card of Rs 108000.

          I hope you will oblige my request and do the needful at the earliest.

            W.e.f March 2007, they reduced my points eligibility from 1 point per Rs 125 of new business to 1 point per Rs 150 of new business.

            They raised my credit limits twice in last four years only after INTERVENTIONS FROM THE R.B.I's (Reserve Bank of India) Banking Ombundsman acted on my complaints. This was inspite of my then good credit standing while my friends' credit limits were raised without any such problems. Without RBI's intervention, they asked for my financial details like Form 16 and Salary Slips which is against all justifications and law.

            Then when I asked them to send my ORIGINAL (credit card) statements by courier intead of postal mail due to irregular service in my vicinity, they offered me statements by email and by ORDINARY POSTAL MAIL instead of by COURIER for reason/s unknown to me. I have some of the DUPLICATE statements available for evidence. Phone calls made by me can be traced to their customer service numbers[protected] and[protected]both working 24 hours * 365 days from Gurgaon).


            Recently, due to some unavoidable reasons, I was unable to make the minimum payments for three months (July - September, 2008) since I was in USA on an official trip (September and October, 2008) and was in a preparatory mode during August. Even then, 4 payments totalling Rs 4, 000.00 was made be me. I admit that during this time, some heavy purchases took my billed amounts (unpaid liability) on this credit card to apprx Rs 84, 000.00 (Indian Rupees Eighty four thousand only). They did not send my bills for September and October to my billing address in defiance of my instructions, and, instead of the bills, sent in recovery calls in defiance of RBI guidelines from unknown numbers.

            The interest payments, late fees and government taxes on such interests and late fees during June - October 2008 have totalled more than Rs 11, 000.00 (Indian Rupees ). Added to this, they have declined to give the points for the new business generated during the billing month ending November 21, 2008 for "non-payment of dues".

            I want action as follows :

            (1) The entire late fees +interest + applied taxes from June 2008 - November 2008 (Rs 11, 200.00 appx) be removed and reverted back to my credit card & all negative remarks (if any) in my credit report/s sent to CRIBIL be expunged under written intimation to me;

            (2) My credit limit be raised from the present Rs 1, 88, 000.00 to Rs 4, 00, 000.00;

            (3) A cash compensation of Rs 5, 00, 000.00 (Indian Rupees Five lacs) only to be sent to me by way of a Demand Draft payable in Delhi at my communication address;

            (4) My address for communication be changed (after they call me at my mobile # [protected]) to SRD 4D, Shipra Riviera, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad-201010.

            I may be called on my mobile phone # [protected] anytime any day.

              There was an outstanding of Rs 6776 on one of my Citibank Credit cards. The due date was 19/11/08, however, due to some preoccupations I deposited cheque on 22/11/08 and immediately from the ATM, i called up their helpline and gave the details of cheque / bank name etc. However, since 24/11/08 till today i.e. 25/11/08 evening, I have received 62 calls from two numbers [protected] & [protected]. I gave them a piece of my mind after receiving 22nd call today morning but after this also they have been giving me missed calls. I have created an excel file of the times of calls from these numbers and I wish to submit the same to consumer forum and seek compensation from (already drowned) Citibank DSA for the mental harassment from having to receive phone calls from these two numbers. There are different people calling all time.

              I am also recived frquant call from [protected] but no buddy speaks.
              Since 30th March 2009 till date I am receiving Misscalls from [protected] and when I try to contact caller disconnects . really this is a mental harrashment, I do also register my complaint to Indian consumer complaint forum to take necessary action against such notrious agencies.

              Now after reading this blog I came to know that it is Citibank DSA who is calling.There are to numbers from whom I get missed calls every day.
              Immidiately after that, they call me on landline & nobody speaks.
              This is a mental harrassment.
              I was planning to lodge a police complain about this mental harrassment.I dont know what to do.
              I have settled all the dues of Citibank & closed the card.
              After closing the card also they were calling me.Once I clarifed everything that there is nothing pending from my side & one fine day they said OK.A
              After or months this missed call harrassment started.
              I really do not know what to do.
              hi its the same thing with me...they keep calling and nobody speaks and they give miss calls too !
              the other numbers are ending with 300 / 800 / 900 very disgusting the whole thing. Even though my payments are very regular and on time !
              Dear friends dont worry I have been also the vitim of same had to invest 1200 rupees as bribe to find out the location of the number which got traced out to Citibank Office at Mahakali Caves Road, I will be going there on wednesday to settle this one to one. Seems like they tell you that this call is being recorded for qulity and but there is no recording of the same. All those who wish to join me are most welcome to meet at the following address

                My loan account number is E[protected]

                Initially I paid my EMIs by ECS (via ABN AMRO) & then got it changed to PDCs (issued by VInay Dubey, my ex-husband). When we filed a case for separation Mr Vinay had instructed his bank not to encash any cheques so since that date I am making payments without any hitch. Two month back I requested your customer care to return those cheques which are lying with you (issued by Vinay Dubey). They told me to opt either for ECS or issue fresh PDCs & then we return those checques to you. I have filled up the form & till date your people has not intiated the process of sending ECS mandate to my ABN Amro bank & continuosly chasing me for payments. Cheques issued by Vinay Dubey are none of your use. I don't know for what reason you think those cheques are kept with you for security reasons. When you can't encash them then what is the point of keeping it like this. Why can't you simply return those cheques. Your people has lack of information. They are not updated with their processes & harrassing customers like anything. When I completed all formalities for ECS, they are now saying to cooperate & give PDCs as you people have some issues with ABN Amro. Why am I always suppose to understand. I delayed my court hearing for two months because of you people. It's really not acceptable. Not to test my patience further. I have no hassles in making payment I just want you to return those cheques. Also let me know how you gonna compensate me for these two months delay. I have paid my lawyer extra.

                You should have policies that are customer friendly. I appreciate if you return those cheques as soon as possible & continue taking EMIs on a daily basis.My contact number is [protected]

                  My Cousin Brother who is a bussniness man recently started receiving calls from CitiBank Personal Loan call center executives regarding the recovery of personal loan which he has never availed from any of the bank .. :) It seems like some fraud person has used his detail for availing the loan from citibank and cheated the bank but isn't it a mistake of bank too?? Why they have not done the proper verification? Any ways kindly help me by providing the Citibank Personal Loan Escalation matrix ... Thanks & Regards,

Everytime they call me and ask my name my DOB and confirm some FRAUD address which doesn't exists. This is going on since 3 yeas, i am realy feedup with this calls

                    i have availed a personal loan in Nov 2005 for a period of 3 years and this will come to end by this november 2008 at the time of giving me the cheque they have told me verbally that i need to pay for 36 months installments and i gave ECS for the same but to my surprise i was told that i have to pay more six months as i took the loan for 42months

                    this is not the first loan i took infact after seeing my repayment of my earlier loan they have given me the loan (at that time they told me that interest will be very less as your repayment is good )

                    when the executive came with the cheque and told me its 36 moths now they are saying i am still due of rs. 25, 000 in which 19000 is principle and as on date i have not received a single document from them when i ask them to show the proof of delivery of the welcome kit they are not showing i feel they are practicing unfair lending policy ( there is no paper what so ever given to me) ..

                      my father had a credit card for which the recovery agent from Citi Bank Credit card group called and abused on the phone a lot and i have a recording of it as a proof for the RBI i need to know where n how can i lodge a complaint or file a suit against this and which law/rules governs these kind of banks...

                      Citibank/Credit card — Agents Behaviours

                      Dear All,

                      The below complaint sent to you on behalf of my mother the credit card holder as she is old lady.

                      As mentioned above :
                      The owner of the card : Eptisam Aly Yehia Aly.
                      Citibank Card: [protected].
                      Country : Egypt.

                      First Complaint:

                      My Mother the card holder did not receive August 2009 statement , so she asked me to call your respectable call centre to inquire about the reason of that delay that may lead to delay payments and that wasn’t acceptable from my mother side , I contacted them to inform about non-delivered bills ,one of your agents answered me , got my request and promise to reprint and send the bill without any notification of any extra charges ; surprise that call not uploaded on your recording system as after few weeks we did not receive any statements and the new one[protected] issued .

                      Regarding that I contacted your respectable call centre again to inquire about that delay and really I was surprised that my previous call not documented at your system and the new agent informed me that to reprint and send bill I will be charged 20 le , that wasn’t acceptable as really we did not receive the statement , I asked him to investigate the case at your great system but he astonished me with his answer as robot that my bill delivered and if I need other one I will be charged extra fees with no exception , so I asked him to transfer my call to higher position with more authority to handle my complaint , he did, as my call transferred to Team Leader : Amgad Adeeb who handled my complaint but also we with insist that we received August statement , but with more debating with him , he convinced to send investigation request to confirm the delivery as updated on your system that bill delivered to door man although my mother living at compound with no existence for any door man except securities , Amgad promised to check by himself and feed me back with 3 days .

                      After 3 days exactly I received call from delivery company regretting about runner mistake as fake delivery and promised to report that results to Citibank to resend the required statement , Amgad contacted me again and apologized for that mistake and bills will be send ASAP.

                      My mother received August & September 2009 on the same day.

                      I appreciate if you checked the above complaint as I was surprised from your system behavior as some of our calls and inquiries not updated and that really bad image for great enterprise as Citibank, regardless the bad impact on customers history on your system.

                      The worst part is your agents behaviors as it looks they did not get the basics of customer service behaviors and rules as step on customers shoes or even be on his side with basic concept (Customer always right) , your agents missing a lot of Customer Service Behaviors that reflected on your image and impacted your reputation specially here in Egypt.


                      Sorry for not mentioning dates , but I believe if you checked your system you will find some of my calls or inquiries.



                      Second Complaint :

                      As previous complaint and non-delivered bills , the 2nd problem raised , as my mother upon receiving her bills she checked the billed amount and description of each , she got extra amounts 24.99 LE repeated twice at August bill with description (PAI OS FAMILY 50) , she contacted your call centre as I was not at home with her to inquire about that extra charges , they informed her that is Insurance fees , as discussion done between my mother and your respectable agent as she did not have any back ground about that insurance or its conditions , she informed that she did not set any deal or sign any contract , they informed her that Tele-sales contacted her and set deal ; fake one sorry for that words but actually no deals done as explained from my mother as actually she received call inform her about new offer for insurance and she was not interested , agent offered her to send the offer via courier to check it , they did, my mother received the offer she did not even check the envelope as she refused the whole idea of insurance .

                      Crisis started when she re-contacted your call centre complaining from that extra charges and she did not set any deals with any Tele-agent , so they informed her they will submit complaint to concerned departments to check her case and hear the recorded call between her and your Tele-sales , we were surprised when we got the feedback as they insist that the deal done via phone and the amount confirmed to be deducted from her account monthly and that was totally wrong and not happened , even in dreams, and she should inform your bank with cancellation within 30 days from deal date not specified as amounts at August statement deducted twice (27-July& 20-Aug).

                      As my mother disappointed from your feedback and worst treatment can ever any customer get , she asked me to call your call centre again on her behalf to check that case and to waive that amount as she denied any deal done.

                      I contacted your call centre , my call received by your agent :Amr Khalil Mohamed Fathy dated 31-October -2009 at 7:30 pm .

                      Call details as below:

                      Verification with my mother data , after that I started to explain the case to Amr ; he was in defensive position from the beginning of the call , as I asked him to listen to the recorded call that prove the deal as that is the only clue for that case , he told me that is out of his scope and he is not quality to hear calls , so I asked for alternative to send to them again with my complaint addressed Deny of deal , but he shocked with his answer as he told me that the case almost closed as per first complaint and other department feedback that amount should be paid with no exception to waive it , I tried to discuss with him the problem again and inform him that I am working in the same field of communication and most of time I did presentation and sessions for new comers to educate them Customer Care Behaviors but he neglected my conversation telling me that what I am saying is out of scope of the call , unbelievable, so I tried again to push him to send complaint but he insists not to do anything as case closed and amount due as it is obligatory payments.

                      Dear All, as above I need your support and deep investigation specially in the second case and did your great usual effort to waive that amount that reflected at August and October statements and I wish you did more effort to choose your representatives as they are the only best tool to keep your reputation that of course beside your wonderful and magnificent products , also I need your action towards Amr as he is a bad image of your respectable Enterprise , I hope that you hear the call with Amr , I admit I was so angry and maybe I said bad words but was intentionally due to his bad behavior.


                      At the last have you reached that level of neglect and DISRESPECT to your client, that you're telling them to go and dig after his problem and back off your shoulders if he wants his problem to be solved, that he is the one who should call your company to solve it, and that you are no more caring nor bothering yourself with him any more to assist the customer?

                      The complaint is I was holding a card no.[protected]- which has been expired and all the payment was made before the last amount Rs692/- which was paid vide cheque no.361425 drwan on standard chartered in due date. unfortunately we put a application to the bank for the closing of our a/c for certain reason, and the a/c was closed, and there after we came to know ourself that a small amount of cheque of citibank was issued which may be not encashed -this we came to know through the the statement recd from the bank- immediately I feel to ask your bank for the same to collect the same from my office or to deposit in your bank(Remember I did not recd any call from your bank for the same)- the reply was not good they started charges for Rs.300/ extra, ok I told them to pl send the statement to make payment but till date no statement was recd only messages are being recd for making payment which has been gone up to Rs.1341/- why all this --now kindly note the credit card has been expired/closed- and if you want your payment kindly send your correct amount-show your genuineness be a good bank-waiting for a favourable reply.

                        i had citibank silver credit card, recieved statement of full amount used, after speaking many times to customer service, i was assured for an investigation which never happened and I have been charged for the amount i never used.

                        Dear Account Manager,

                        My name is Vishal Mourya. I am CITI bank credit card customer.
                        I was offered Health Insurance from your side during January 2008 saying it’s free and i would not be charged any amount for this insurance. Despite my asking for any hidden charges i was told this is free. But As the statement came i was charged around Rs. 14000.00 for this Health Insurance.
                        I called to your customer care immediately and complaint for this event and said them to revert back this amount back in my card and told them i am not going to pay this Insurance card amount. They agreed on my argument and assured me to revert the amount.

                        But in next month i was again charged for this amount with added interest in that. I called again customer care and again registered my complaint. But nothing happened and i kept on getting statement and calls from your credit card department for the amount to be paid with added interest.

                        With my repeated calls to your customer care i have also given written application to your bill collector to revert back my all amount with interest. I have the copy of written complaint made on 15/11/08 to your branch manager.

                        Now despite doing complaint many times nothing happened and i am still getting calls from your credit card department to make the payment and my amount is increasing with interest day by day.

                        Now i am getting mentally harassed by this act of CITI bank credit card department and i want CITI bank to revert all amounts as soon as possible with all interest.

                        Please make sure my payment get reverted and i don’t get any further calls from your credit card department.

                        I have been wrongly charged for some of transactions which I have not done. I am being charged an amount of Rs.40, 000 including interest for late payment. I am not sure how can this happen. I never lost my credit card nor I gave it to some one. The only justification Citibank is giving is that I was in Canada when this transaction happened and all this merchant outlets are in Canada. I dont know how to prove thatI never did this transactions.

                        I am the satisfied user of Citibank Credit Card.for past 2 years am using the card only for Indian Oil Patrol Pumps. Reason is that my credit limit is only Rs.10000/-., which do not purmit me to buy any good products offered by many mfgrs. I have requested at CC phone lines but of no use. First of all, we never demanded this card. This was issued, when I purchased my Esteem Car 4 years ago.
                        My only complaint is that the credit limit to be increased to Rs.50000/- min, otherwise there is no point to continue with citicard. I am also using HSBC card which has got the limit for Rs.72000/-.
                        Hope you will understand my view point. Kindly revert for the said complaint.

                          I, Himmat Savaliya resident of Mumbai holding Citibank Credit Card for a long time and one day I received Citibank Statement dated : 21.08.2008 with details giving 8 transactions for total Rs.45872.66 which was shocking for me as I had not utilised the cards for the said transactions.
                          After that I took up the matter with the concerned dept. in Citibank and as per their rules I filled up CARD MEMBER DECLARATION FORM which is for complaints pertaining to misuse/wrongly debited of credit card and as per their instructions I had faxed the same to them on[protected] on 16.10.2008 at 1847 Hrs and again on 1847 Hrs and had confirmed with them then they told that they will investigate the matter and will let me know. Later on 25.10.2008 I again recived call from Citibank asking me to clear the outstanding immediately and then I told them that my matter is under investigation and I have not received any reply from them then they told me that the charges will have to be paid under any circumstances then I told them about the fax then they told me that they have not received any such fax and once again I faxed them the same on 25.10.2008 at 1019 Hrs and spoke to Ms.Prabhjyot & Ms.Sonali and informed them that I have once again faxed the form and again they told me that they will investigate into the matter and inform me. After that different people from Citibank started calling me and have started pressuring me for making the payment, I also told them that if I have used the card then why don’t you give me the copy of the charge slip then they say that it was pin based transaction of which I am totally unaware since I have not recd any such pins from them and now I am fedup and request you to kindly look into the matter and help me out.

                          I am the life time member Citibank card holder since 2000 and regular payment makster since the period. My transaction for Laptop purchase I have to use Citibank and payment for minum due for the month I have paid less Rs. 150/- where within the due date due to shortage of money inthe account.
                          But citibank charge late payment penalty on RS. 150/- amount RS. 450 toal. Please give me a legal
                          guidance whether a consumer is regular payment master and once the payment made wihtin due date
                          Is it legally agree to pay late payment charge against payment made.
                          Please take necessary action as I am not satisfied with the service they provide for the last 2 years.

                            I hold a Suvidha Saving account with Citibank (A/C No [protected]). I am not able to make cash deposits in my own account in the home branch of the account or any other branch of Citibank because the bank levies a charge of Rs 100 + service tax even if it the customer walking into the bank to make a cash deposit. I have tried writing to the RBI Ombudsman but the website there isn't functioning too well. Please look into this as this is the most absurd charge in banking history that I have come across

                            Citibank Na — Daylight Robbery

                            Hi,

                            Citibank Has charged me Rs 200.00 on 10th August 09 without even informing me that they would be taking the money out as a renewal charge.

                            Secondly, they have also dishonoured my cheque because there was insufficient funds due to them withdrawing Rs 200 & then they have also charged me Rs 250.00 for the returned cheque.

                            When i called up the customer service lady today @ 1:25 Pm, i was put on hold for 15 minutes & then hung up..

                            Can anyone help me in terms of how to take this up legally as the bank doesnt seem to care about people...

                              Hi,
                              My name is Aradhana Singh . My problem is that i keep receiving call from one of the tele caller of Citi Bank from the number 67194000. It started 2 months back when one on the guys from asked me to take credit card. I told him that i am not interested since that the onwards he calls me 10 to 12 times a day and when i answer the call he hangs up.
                              I have registered my self with DND.
                              People like him are the reason why we as customer dont want to receive calls from tele marketer.

                              I would greatly apreciate if some one from Citi bank takes the matter and mails me or else i have no other option to the matter to the Court.

                                I had got a Citi bank credit card made in 2004 September'04 which was supposed to be free of charges then i started getting bills for charges & medical insurance.I started calling up on the phone banking services, but the request was not entertained. Then i had written a letter to their office in Chennai.After submission of the letter i have not received any bill for the same. But in past one year i have started getting the sms on my mobile for the outstanding balance.As on date the bill amount is Rs.312, 330.88. The important point to note is that i have never used the credit card for any purchase, then how there could be any outstanding amount. In 2005-07(mid) there was no communication from citi bank. Moreover now i have been only getting sms & no bill.

                                2 months back I've taken an account in Citibank Suvidha for my salary credit.Where ever thay asked directly/through phone/or any other communication I haven't ever requested for a credit card .
                                Last week Friday (23rd May) I got a call from Citibank person that he want some information to send the free credit card.Very clearly I told him I'm not interested and don't send to me.Then he started raising on me and started speaking in Hindi which I can't follow, and then disconnected the call.All the time I repeated "I don't want any type of credit card at any cost even free"
                                And again on Last Monday (26th May) I got a call from[protected] around 11 am asking the same and to him also I very cleary mentioned "I don't want the card and don't send to me" and the call got disconnected.
                                2 days after 28th May I got a message "Your request for CitiBank credit card has been approved.You can receive it within 5 days" and today the courier person is asking me to collect the card.I didn't accept the card and send him to return it back, with the reason.

                                These people are specially trained to behave like these to customers ?
                                Just think, we are in our own pressures of work, family and all .keep on calling and behaving like this and wasting our precious time ...will it make any reputation to the bank service ?
                                I'm struggling like anything to pay another credit card amount which crossed lakhs, seeking other ways, even loans to pay the money ..These all stories I've told to the people who they called up me regarding credit cards and still they are doing like this way.
                                Please please please ... let us allow to live peacefully, Its a humble request...
                                i read this article..and this umber is bugging me sor few months to me as well...they seem to have a dialer which keeps on dialing the number again and again...so many times i have told them on[protected] i dont want any credit card thy keep on calling...within 24 hr they will call and sy that they will send the card...my advice ...put this number in the call screening...your phone wont buzz...they sometimes call from another number[protected] ...all the agents are males and very rude on phone...seems like their team leaders puh them for card sells ...CitiBank has done very bad thing by allowing these people to call their suvidha salary account holders/customers...they are ...some r illiterates..absolutely no respect for you.

                                be careful with such callers and specifically tell them i don't want any credit cards ...they record calls as i know...if you shy on the phone and hesitate and dont come clear ...they will send yu the card and later u will have to thousands of rupees in terms of joining fees, ..annual fees...and what they sy to you is lie...they do charge you for cards...its nort free..may be free only if you us the card for certain amount in an year ..it could be as high as 50 000 Rs which is not the case always...so you end up paying 1000 s of rupees in terms of fees..just think...y would someone call you to give you something for Free...

                                I have also been getting calls from 67194000 and 67394200 to buy Citi bank Credit card from the pathetic tele callers of Citi Bank. Several times a day they will call. I have already closed down my Account with them and registered my cell phone number with DND.

                                Any one who wants to know where are these number of, the Number 67194000 and 67394200 belongs to Andromeda Marketing they are official Telecalling department of Citi Bank and they are located at Kislon House, Chandivali, near Picnic Hotel Andheri-east.

                                Please do go over there and register your complain with them.

                                I am fed up by the frequent calls from these numbers.

                                Citibank is playing cheap tricks by doing these spam calls for which I have never asked for Credit card..
                                Allmost daily, I am getting bogged down from these two numbers... and Citibak shoudld be sued up for making unwanted calls..

                                Citibank CEO, President wake up... In the next few days, they have to pay for the number o[censored]nwanted calls they make to the esteemed customers who should be respected.

                                But today (27-Mar-2009) is the worst day. I got 20 blank calls from this number. Between 2pm to 3pm, I got 10 calls.

                                Few times ago I had applied for CITI BANK Credi card, and it was denied due to negative feedback from CIBL, I asked CIBL to provide the info then they asked for contract no which has been provided to CITIBANK.

                                Currently I holding two credit card, and I have no due in any of the credit card, still I dont know why my name on the list of CIBL.

                                Proably out of my knowledge I have a bad relation with any bank, and I dont want to make bad relation ship with any bank, I want to correct it.

                                Thats why number of time I asked CITI BANK to provide the contract no, so that I can give that contract no to CIBL and then they provide me the name of the bank with I have bad relation and I go to correct it.

                                However CITI BANK is denying me to provide that.

                                As per RBI rule Bank should provide that info to customer, so customer can improve their relation ship with any bank and he will not have any trouble in future.

                                Request you to please help to solve my query asap as I need to apply for home loan as well, and I will not get home loan until my name removed from CIBL list.

                                i took the credit card in the year of 2005, and i used the total card amount of 21, 000/- and paid some amount. after that i asked the manager for settlement.and i got the settlement for Rs.24000/- and manager gave me the settlement letter and collected monthly 2000/- @ 12 months, all these amount i paid through cheques and 3 times cash, i have all the bills with me, Astonishingly after 4 years, i got a mail from your bank that i am due to ur bank an amount of Rs.33, 300/-.

                                Hence i am bringing to your kind notice that why, your bank managers create panic situations to the customers, i am going to file a deformation case against the bank for 10 crores compensation, why because, how many customers are facing this problem through out India, is this the way of running banking institutions? i will proceed through Human rights commission, and other legal actions against the bank, if my problem is not solved

                                I Have already spoken to city bank many times s never applied or received a credit card but did complaint to city bank when received a statement. My parents as well had a word with the and they said they are investigating as card was applied on Feb 2007 which makes me non-eligible for the card as my Date Of Birth is 19 February 1988. When called today they said that the credit card acct is closed and still in investigation as card cannot be applied at a age before 21 years.I have also lodged a complaint at the Walkeshwar police station as citi bank kept calling my old grand parents and abusing and harrasin then on calls and by visiting them to threaten to make a payment. I am 9 months pregnant and had applied for a personal loan from Fullerton bank but city bank informed informed them that i am a defaulter and not to process my loan. Please look into the matter personally s I had applied for the loan for my delivery.

                                My credit card was hacked and some body stolen 1,02,000/RS from my account, i was reported to city phone officer with in 10 minutes.

                                till they are saying that once merchant has claimed then only they will start the dispute process. It's clearly showing that some body has done 1,02,000/Rs T/xs with in 10 minutes.

                                  This is to inform u that somebody has Mis-use of my credit Card online of
                                  Rs 12999 on 28 jul 2010 at around 3pm using my credit card details was made on the website ie on future bazar.com. I received an alert SMS for the same, as i had not done these transactions i was shocked and immediately called up citibank and spoke to mr shushant from customer care and informed them about this fraud transaction and requested them to hold the transaction & block my credit card.

                                  so kindly do this at the earliest...

                                    It has been almost 2 and half working day in the Citibank since my request of wire transfer has been received by them. I am very disappointed that till now I didn't hear a word from them, given the fact that I have contacted Mr. Prateek (employee of Citibank, Hyderabad, India) personally 2-3 times on phone. I have to say that I am not feeling satisfied with the Citibank services and due to the lazy communication between client and service provider.

                                    Above all, I have suffered enough due to carelessness of Citibank employees and those instances I have already communicated to them verbally (for e.g. they have provided a wrong information to me that I can do the money transfer from Paris Citibank retail branch without any problem but when I came to Paris I got to know that there exists no Citibank retail branch in Paris and then they were asking me to go to London to do the money transfer, what a joke!).

                                    As I have already informed them that I am require my money urgently, such ill-handling of my case is extremely inappropriate, this is what I think. However, they might have their own constraint while processing my request but at least I expect a mail from them mentioning when the money can be transfer, about processing time and their own constraints. In fact I have tried reaching to Ms. Jayamangala (another employee of Citibank, Hyderabad, India) on 40005830/31 several times but nobody picked up the phone; which made me call to Mr. Prateek on his Mobile Number. Sorry to say but I do not see any fruitful outcome of all this.

                                      I Sangeeta w/o Sh. Amar pal taking a car loan of Rs.1, 90000/- from citi bank for purchase a Maruti Omni on[protected].my husband Amar pal is given ECS facility for return the lone EMI
                                      Rs.4232/- per moth. In the month of November 2006 &December 2006, citi sends wrong Memo
                                      To my banks. Means memo sends in the name of SANGEETA SINGH, ECS only the name of Amar Pal A/c No.[protected] is correct. Again May 2007 third time wrong ECS memo send my
                                      Bank, all three time we are deposits in cash. On 17th May 2007 again send ECS and deducted extra EMI from my bank. When I approach for refund the extra EMI Bank sends only Rs.3109.
                                      Rest amount Rs.1123/- bounce penalty.
