My friends and I, we bought 2 pre paid Clay sim cards for Thailand. The network horrible, the quality of their services was really bad, literally no signals anywhere !! And talk about call rates, they were expensive. We actually used local phones to call home. Its a bad idea to use Clay Sim Cards!!

It was a big mistake to have used Clay Sim cards for my travels to Singapore. For a company with such poor customer support who don’t have any reasons for regular call drops or being charged for data that wasnt even activated is sure to fall in the worst category of service providers. I have never wasted so much time trying to get my number working than i did wth Clay Sim Cards. Never using them even in my dreams..

I was travelling to France and this sales guy from Clay Sim Cards delivered an Italian sim card inserted in the France pack. What pains and frustration i had to go through my travel, first with the wrong number, hardly receiving any signals and calls and then finally switching to my Indian number and having to pay a crazy bill. The first and the last time that ever anyone used it from my company and my social circle as well.

If you’re looking for a good international sim card, clay sim cards is definitely not the answer. I was in Thailand, and after 2 days of trying every antic possible with the sim, it began to register the network only to come and go over and over again.! So practically i was without a number even though when i had one!!! Cherry on the cake are their customer executives who are rudeness personified.. I am never recommending clay telecom to anyone ever again!!!

I was travelling to US for work and was recommended by my company to use a clay sim card for the same. Hence, i called for a BB plan since i use a Blackberry. It so happened that the sales guy said that the sim would get to me the next day with a proper BB plan activated. When i got to US and started using that Sim card, i realised the BB plan wasnt activated, yet we were being billed for the same and when i called up that sales guy, he had the guts to tell me then that Clay BB plans aren’t available. Using their pathetic services wasnt enough that i had to deal wth their legal also.

By the time i started my Clay sim card in Singapore, for whatever reasons it got blocked and flashed sim invalid number. I had to call up the customer services from a calling booth and spent some good amount of money just to get through their superrr busy â€œ TOLL FREEâ€ number.And when i demanded a reason for the invalid sim, the guy on the call said that the sim couldnâ€™t be used as its crossed its validity!!! I mean what the hell... Such a pathetic company, that to make money, they dispose their dead inventory on the customer.

They are the worst when it comes to network coverage and billing ethics. I was using their sim card for Singapre and it was a basic plan. I had given my credit card details only as a guarantee and had clearly instructed them not to charge the card. I did not even get the bills, but an amount of 15k was deducted on my card against the sim usage. After much raucous, they mailed the bill 10 days later and it was all wrong. Its a total waste of money seriously plus added headache. DISGUSTED

I had opted for a UK sim card from Clay Sim Cards with 10GBP plan which entitled me for 500 free minutes call back to India. I was told that the minutes wud show in the bill but will be discounted in the final amount. When i saw my bill, i was charged for every second for all the calls that i made to India. NO FREE MINUTES !!! Clay Telecom is a CHEAT and despite so many calls and emails my bill still isn’t discounted off the minutes.

Never Using this again!

Clay Sim Cards have false claims and pathetic customer services!! Pretty much all that i experirnced on my 3 day trip to Thailand with their sim card. Never using it again in the future..

You will be penny wise and pound foolish if you ever happen to choose Clay Sim Cards for any of your international travels. They will flash all nice and affordable rates while closing the sale but ultimately charge you a bomb with minimum promised spent, and flagfalls and what not. Clay Sim Cards have the worst customer support people on their rooster.. I had taken a clay international sim card for US and despite all my efforts of trying to get the sim working, there was absolutely nothing.. So i landed up calling their â€œEFFECIENTâ€ customer centre. It took them 15 minutes to answer my call and then another 5 minutes to transfer to the concerned deptt who in turn didnt know how to help me so kept me on hold and ultimately disconnected my phone! I was literally on the phone for 30 minutes with no respite from their customer care ppl. With such a horrible experience i doubt that i will ever use/ recommend such services to any person!

Beware of Clay Sim Cards and their affordable tariff tricks! I bought a clay sim card on the pretext of affordability and convenience. And it was total ! I was travelling to Singapore for a Business conference with a couple of other associates and on ones recommendation we used Clay sim cards for calling purposes and also for emails. It was by far the worst services that i have ever used!!! I am so glad that i had taken my Indian number for emergency which actually turned out to be the one that i used., cz the clay sim card refused to register any signals or calls. The data for which we already paid a bomb was acting like regular EDGE services! Guys its nthing but total disappointment using a sim from clay!!

I am currently in the US studying and it thot it is apt that i write my experience o[censored]sing a Clay Sim Card. My dad got me a student plan from Clay wth the view that things will be very convenient and will be relatively cheaper infact the sales guy also told me that its damn affordable.. i will get to talk more for lesser money !! All bloody !! Total NONSENSE!! My father got a bill for 30k for a month for calls being charged to their number when its late night in India, and for random minutes. I have call records in my phone that prove otherwise! My dad had to prove their fraud of overcharging minutes with my records and his own phone records, and got a refund thereafter!! Never use Clay Sim cards for anything ever !!

Clay Sim Cards have the most corrupted billing system. I got billed for 25k for a 3 day trip to Singapore where i hardly used the phone for any international calls. With already pre-activated data plan, there was no way in hell that this was true. It has taken me enough days to get the bill rectified and finally i have realised that they not only fiddle with the final amount, but also over charge everything!

Use at your own risk and be assured that you will definitely be billed thrice the actual amount!! I had used Clay Sim Card for Thailand and experienced every word that i just wrote. Poor signals across the island, therefore calling was actually impossible. Customer ppl had no idea about extending any support! And finally when i scrutinised the bill i saw that some calls were billed thrice with gaps of few minutes! Guys just be careful of Clay Sim Cards.. Not worth it !

After such a pathetic experience with Clay Sim Cards, its worth it that everybody who wants a true review abt their services should read this review as well. I was hesitant to use Clay Sim Card for UK, but for my family’s convenience i took the same. When i landed in UK, inserted the sim card and hoped that the sim wuld start working but Nothing happened, tried everything, but nothing. The customer care did something and somehow i got some bare minimum signals but then the phone would work for a few mins in the day and would just not work for the rest. My idea of convenience had turned into a horrifying experience with zero response/ support from the customer team!! Such are services from Clay Telecom!!

Never use any Clay Sim Cards because these ppl have no business ethics at all. I happened to use their sim card for HongKong and i strictly instructed the sales rep to use my credit card details only as a security and not charge my card whatsoever. Firstly, their services were quite pathetic and then when they went ahead and charged the entire bill on my card without even sharing the itemised bill, totally proved that their services are horrible. !! Never recommending Clay Sim Cards to anyone in the near future.

Really bad network service

I had used clay sim for Hong Kong and i have to admit they had some terrible network services. Barely any signals and constant customer calls was just really irritating
