Poor connectivity across Europe and pathetic signal reception! Most of the places the sim could barely get through calls and customer services wasn’t that much of a help. I guess they need to be educated on telephone manners!! Clay Sim cards are just a piece of crap.

Poor signals, over exaggeration of their services which actually are pathetic is what best defines Clay Sim Cards!! Worst experience ever using this horrible clay international sim card. Never recommending this to anyone !!

    Glad we bought these 2 pre paid Clay sim cards for Thailand. Not only was the network horrible, so was the quality of their services, With barely any signal on the beaches !! Local calls were more expensive than otherwise and recharging the damn number was a pain!! Total crappy pre-paid service

      Clay Telecom has crossed all limits of cheating!! Bought a sim card from them for US and on standing instructions of not charging the credit card, they went ahead and first charged it for close to 25k and then generated the bill. On screening the bill, the billed dated was wrong ( 10 days before i actually took the sim) with wrong tariff charged on the same, when i actually opted for zero rentals, they charged me 30$. Please realise the customer is not an !! Totally disasppointed with this crappy company

        Dont fall in the trap called Clay Sim Cards. As a student i can say, this was the worst telecom option that i ever used for UK. Being an addict to my BBM i considered their services cz i thought it wud be easy for dad to clear the bill in rs than the heavy pounds, and it turned out that these buggers robbed us in Indian rupees only. Slammed a bill of 23k for nothing at all!! 23k for just bbm!! What the hell !! My dad had to get this sorted and disconnected !! Total sham !!

          Whatever number that has been mentioned on the website as the customer care number cant ever be reached or have some respond to endless calls that one makes. I finally had to dispose the dead international sim card from Clay telecom cz apparently i could not get through either numbers mentioned on teh website. !!! Totally feel cheated and honestly quite pissed off !!

            I strongly dislike Clay sim cards for a very simple reason, first they will chase you down to buy a sim card if at all yo decide to try their services, and then once the sale is closed they don’t believe in taking the ownership for anything, which is quite a piss off!! I took their post paid sim card for UK and suffered major signal issues and also with the data which just didn’t seem to work!! After 10 calls to the customer care and a equal number of mails, did they think of responding once saying they will fix it!! That fix never happened !!! Waiting to catch hold of the guy who will take the return delivery !!

            Charged on credit card with out invoice money not refunded one month

            Bought mobile sims for my visit abroad, was debited/over charged on my credit card before invoicing and still not refunded one month now.This is a totally fraud company please be careful do not trust and give credit card as gurantee.

              Worst company, unprofessional with an added icing on the cake – worst customer service !! I bought a Clay sim card – a post paid connection for my vacation in Brazil and i was told that its a zero rental plan but when i got my bill they had charged me a set up fee and also a rental of BRL 50. The crooks that their customer execs are, didnt have the decency to act on the incorrect statement and hung up.!! I am never ever going to recoomend this clay sim cards to anyone...

              We have tried to contact this person variouus time, but he never shared his details.It seems a fake complaint, we have checked our database with all name which the complaint has been rised by same ID but there is no any such customer in our databasee.

                Worst customer experience ever with clay telecom. Clay telecom has the rudest customer care ppl, who will never believe you when you make a complaint against them. I had taken a pre paid sim card for Malaysia and when i was trying to recharge it, it kept on deducting the money but i never got a dime in my number. When i told the customer care execs they refsed to believe me and called me a liar instead.!!! Very rude customer care ppl who ill- treat the customers

                  Clay telecom is the most poorly rated on its customer services as well as its sim services. Having reached my destination – Germany!! Now that i am here, my sim card doesn’t seem to register on any network and getting through the customer service is one pain in the !! Guys its really frustrating to use a sim service that doesn’t seem to work in the first place. Really regretting my decision of going with Clay sim cards

                    I was travelling to US on a business trip and decided to use Clay international sim card. Having burnt my fingers, let me warn you that clay telecom has alot of hidden charges that they do not disclose at the point of signing up a client. I took a plan for 10 days with everything activated, but when i activated my card landing in US my data services wasnt working. The customer care said that it would take about 6-7 hours for it to start working which was pretty unrealistic in the first place. The story doesn’t end here. when i got my bill it was a bloody shocker – clay had charged me for 15 days, something that i wasnt informed of and also for the data that i didnt use. I totally agree with everyone else who says Clay sim cards are a bad choice !!

                      Imagine when you pay almost 5k to setup your email service on ur bb and it still doesn’t work. And thats exactly what happened while i was using clay sim card. My email service didnt work while i was on a business trip to UK. It took more than an hour to get through the busiest customer care that they have and then another hour to prove that i had paid for the services. Thanks to the worst and the most unresponsive customer service team that my service was activated after 4 days of my 7 days tour !!! Officially blacklisted this company!!

                      If wish there were some place where i could formally lodge a complaint against the pathetic customer services rendered by Clay Sim Cards. I bought a sim for Japan and paid 99$ for unlimited data plan. Turns out that this data never got activated!! I tried doing everything possible that the cust execs asked me to, but all in vain. Moreover, i was bombed with a bill of 10k for 5 emails and a whatsapp texting!! Technically these cheats took almost 6000k for data activation and charged 10k over and above!! Never use their services ever!! OK
                      I happened to use Clay Sim card for UK and let me tell you it was the worst that i have ever used
                      in long long time. My sim card wasn’t working ever since i landed and despite
                      several calls to the customer centre, they just said rebooting the phone is the
                      only option that will work which clearly wasn’t working for me!! A bunch of
                      sitting behind teh phone and making it worse!! Apparently the sim never
                      worked but these guys were pretty quick to send me the bill worth 1000rs for
                      something i never used!!

                        On a trusted friends suggestion, i took a clay sim card for my business travel to UK. And Clay sim was such a bad experience. Firstly it said that the sim registration failed, for which i contacted the customer service and they took ages to fix the issue. Then i got some random sales promotion call on my UK number, a number that was with a handful of ppl and then when i came back, i was charged 3200/- for one call. How screwed up can a company be.. Clay sim seems to be inefficient not only their processes but also their services.

                          The Clay SIM card company has the most misinformed and rude staff. I was travelling to the US for work and wanted a bb plan activated on my phone. Apparently in the sales guy mind the plan he sold to me was valid and when i landed in US and saw that it wasn’t working, i called up the customer care staff of Clay. Not only rude, but disconnected the phone on my face. Disgusting you guys. Never recommending anyone in my company or otherwise as well to use a Clay SIM card

                            I was in Malaysia, when my clay sim card stopped working all of sudden. I had to run to the booth to call the customer services and instead of fixing the issue they said it would 3 more days as the sim had to be registered again. I was back in 3 days and the sim was pretty much useless for me. Seriously stop selling products or services that you don’t have!!
                            On 21st Mar, 2014, I had purchased 2 SIM Cards from gurgaon:-
                            1. Rental Card for singapore
                            2. Rental Card for malaysia

                            My credit card of HDFC/master was swiped for 2 deposits of Rs.5, 000/- each (Rs.10, 000/- total), on the assurance that this would be released after my return and surrender of the rental SIM card.

                            For reasons best known to your company, this amount was blocked again after a month, and upon enquiry I was told that it will be released soon.

                            I have now received a statement from my bank where the amount of Rs.10, 000/- has been debited from my account and I am being asked to pay the sum.


                            This amounts to GROSS MISUSE, NEGLIGENCE, and FRAUDULENT activity on behalf of Falcon Services/Clay Telecom, and is cause for remedial action from our side if not corrected IMMEDIATELY.

                            2nd point: The rental SIM MALAYSIA function at all. It was a serious problem since I did not have any means of communication in Dubai, and upon repeated follow-up from my office we were told that I would be compensated for a local SIM card which I could purchase.
                            I am still waiting for them to refund the amount of Rs. 10, 000 charged by them .

                              Clay Telecom is the worst company when it comes to business ethics. First they overcharged my credit card without my permission and on having produced the itemised bill it was all charged for wrong dates of travel!! It took me 35 days to get the issue sorted and it was like taking a bullet to the head. Such fraud and messed up system. Will never recommend Clay to anyone ever in my life!! Sick experience!

                                I got a sim card from Clay Telecom for my parents travel to Europe for 10 days. They said they wanted my credit card details only for security reason and would block rs 5000 as a company policy. 2 days post returning the sim card, they sent me a bill first with the wrong dates, when my parents were still here in India. Having got that corrected, after several calls to the customer care, i get my card bill with that amount being charged. I again had to go through the process of calling them and explaining my case and proving with the customer sheet i had that it was wrong. Its such a mental harassment to deal with such . Spare yourself the pain o[censored]sing Clay services !!!

                                  Dont even think o[censored]sing Clay sim cards for any of your travels abroad. Recently i went to Germany for an official trip and chose to use their post paid sim card with some data plan activated to access my emails regularly. I couldn’t have been more disappointed with their services, but their cust. care execs topped it for me. Rude people to deal with, and with absolute no knowledge whatsoever. Horrible experience and would never use Clay ever again in my life.

                                    Never ever get yourself a sim card from Clay telecom!!! These guys are nothing but big cheats!!!. I took this sim card from them for Australia a month back and was charged for duration after having returned the card. I have been chasing clay telecom customer care team to make my refund by they never even care to respond and the refund took forever. Please guys never use clay sim cards!!!

                                      Deposit amount of Rs. 5000 had been charged on my credit card, which was not supposed to be charged. I was told that it was deposited as a security amount. My invoice amount has already been charged from my credit card and they charged deposit amount also. After several mails to concerned department nobody responded me back. I registered my complaint on consumer complaints and it got highlighted on web. The team replied me in the minimum possible time. My issue was taken at high importance level and the team initiated speedy process to resolve my issue. My deposit money was credited back to my account within no time. Add to that, Clay Telecom waived off my last bill amount also, which was of Rs 1400/- INR. Overall i had good experience using its services. Many thanks to Clay Telecom for giving good services. And special thanks to consumer complaint team, which is helping consumers in getting their issues resolved in fast and speedy manner. Indeed, Consumer review sites have helped in increasing the strength of customers and they can easily get in contact with the companies and can resolve their issues. I would like to recommend these platforms to my other friends also, who are being trouble by companies for one or the other reason.

                                        I used Clay Telecom for get SIM card for my parents trip to Europe. Clay was very quick to deliver the SIM card and quality of phone service was good in Europe ( except few places ). Good Customer Service story Ends here. I returned SIM card on 2nd August, in 2 days after my parents returned from Europe trip. I received Invoice on August 7th with Rental Charge of INR 2399.85 and in my policy document rental amount was Rs 0.00. I sent email to Clay Customer service that Invoice is wrong as it has rental charge and it was never signed by me. I submitted copy of agreed Phone call Plan which showed 0 rental charge. I did not get any response so i sent email to complete Clay team which was involved in giving me SIM card. I received call from Clay after 2 days that issue will be resolved today itself. ** Every Clay customer service person says that issue will be resolved today itself and they will personally look into the issue. On August 22, Clay charged my Credit card full amount without removing rental charge. When i called clay customer service about this and i was told this issue will be Taken care by billing team... Today itself. On August 26, I called sales person Muzammil Hussain about the wrong invoice and why it is not resolved. I was told i need to sign few documents and i need to pay invoice amount before Clay can reverse credit card transaction. I submitted new documents on 27th august and i got response from Clay that issue will be resolved Today itself.... On August 29, I called Muzammil Hussain again to check the status of invoice. I was told Clay has month end load of generating invoice and it issue will be resolved ....guess what....Today itself...:-) On August 29, I received email from Customer Service that issue is resolved. But i noticed no invoice was attached so i asked for updated invoice. I was told that invoice will be generated.... Today itself...:-) so only GOD knows what issue was resolved. On Sept 5th : Clay Did partial refund on Sept 5th and again i was told problem will be fixed today. I am still waiting for Clay to fix the invoice and reverse credit card transaction. In this process i must have sent 7-10 emails and 10-15 phone calls, every time i got assurance but nothing was resolved. I have never seen such a bad customer service, People just make false promise and lie with sweet language. update : Got full refund on Sept 13th 2013 I interacted with following team from Clay who only gave false promise everytime.
