[Resolved]  ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — Unnecessary Charges

I am holding an ABN AMRO freedom card from the past two years and currently I had got a call from tthe bank for one of their promos of Holidaying for which I ha drefused but still got a charge of Rs. 4500/- on my card. Later after I had made a complaint I got a call as an apology from the bank personnel and a reversal statement verbally. Just today after 10 days I get a call from the local bank for the collection of the dues and that the pending amount is still 7000/ - plus which includes the promo charges. It at times is so difficult when you get such calls when you are amidst a meeting and at the same time when you explain you still get a reply that they are not aware of the reversal and would only reflect in the next statement. Does that mean that a customer would be bullied till the next statement is made or is there any system of stopping this.

I'm also facing lot of problems with these ABN Amro Delhi marketing guys... these guys keeps on calling me disturbing me. I told them I'm not interested in the their offers and not interested in paying some more money for this offer. But still these guys keep on calling many times in a day. I opted for "do not disturb" option in ABN Amros web site. I got a message that it will come into effect after 30 days. So, here I need to bear there harressment for 30 more days. Now I stopped picking up their calls. Feeling a little bit peace of mind.
I am holding a ABN AMRO credit card no: [protected]and I have a problem with ABN regarding the payment Rs 12000.00 made directly to the aviva life insurance (I)p (ltd) on october 2007 . Without knowing this, I also paid the amount Rs 12000.00 to AVIVA LIFE INSURANCE through cheaque . That cheaque was cleared on 06.09.07. In this case I had complained aviva life insurance to retern the amount immidiatly which was taken from credit card, and they told me that they have paid the amount to ABN on november 2007 .For few month you didn't asked anything, but from few months back again you are asking the amount After gatting a call again from you, we were shocked and we contacted aviva and their reply was that they have already paid . so I want you to solve this problem as soon as possible.For clarcallification call [protected] .

ABN AMRO Bank — unnecessary charges in my bank statement

I was recently hit with a charge of Rs. 4500 (WIY FEE - 3 NIGHTS 4 DAYS AT RCI RESORTS) on my credit card and i believe this is unfair.I received atleast 30-40 calls last month from ABN AMRO sales department. I told them initially that i dont need it but again they called up saying you are our privileged customer and its free of cost for you . We have chosen your name from the lucky draw. I asked them repeatedly if i will be charge for anything and the answer was no. Executive told me you will receive a call from another department and they dont know anything about this package and lucky draws.You dont have to tell your credit card numer number to them.

I asked the verifier if i will be charged for this and she said we will not charge anything unless and until you receive the package and deposit it in ABN AMRO bank.I was unaware that i will receive charges in my statement without being told. If someone is repeatedly saying no to the package that means he or she is not interested in the deal.

my name is A Suresh Rao and i am a credit card holder of your bank for freedom credit card since 3 years and i had a good
relationship from so many days. hence from yhe third year i am facing many problems from your bank as i used to like the relation before
one year i stopped spending from my credit card but after i pay the repayment amount till six monts but the amount was still showing
to pay as high it was shown before and every month i get a total amount bill with high late fees and high intrest, i pay every month the
due but i dint pay two monts due as some of the person call me and promised me to pay revise the late fees and all extra charges, but it
dint happen i called the call center and registered for this but it din't happen so long nay how i am not in the way to pay all the due
as ther is no due in my account and i am not helpless to pay in future as my job is not with me so long and i am working in a small compney

using bad words as it broks my picture and even my family.

ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — Largest fraud in ABN Amro bank with my Credit card (Card No:-XXXXXXXXXXX8327)

Could you please look into the below mentioned matter? Kindly look into this and save me from this fraud.

Someone from ABN Amro bank has changed my all the credit card details like Address, email & Requested for LOAN on card.

But For the same, Bank has sanctioned the loan of RS:-100005, (One lacs and five thousand) without any proper verification.

My Card limit is only Rupees:-25000.

ABN AMRO bank (Credit card Department) does not have proper proof like documents, cheque details, recording for requesting loan, for requesting address change, for requesting email id change.

Now ABN AMRO Noida Collection department is consciously giving me call for the loan amount

This is one of the largest fraud in ABN amro bank

Need Date, timings?

Q3) when End user or Credit card holder had called to ABN AMRO bank (Credit card Department) for requesting LOAN on CARD?
Need Date, timings and Recordings for the same?

Q4) When ABN AMRO bank (Credit card Department) or head office or Verification debarment has made a call from bank to Credit card holder??
Need Date, Timings and recordings and on which Mobile Number?

Q5) How ABN AMRO bank (Credit card Department) had made this Stupid mistake? I mean If Credit card Limit is only Rupees 25000 then

since one year iam not getting statement, lot of times i requested to send the statements, but i didnot receive . After repeatedly asking for statement at last they send 2 months duplicate statements . every month i am paying . they dont send statement and they will charge fines of Rs.600 or Rs.700 .i think this they are wantedly doing this to collect fines rather than principal payment . with this kind of abn amro crredit card we are facing lot of problems. also they have blocked some amount stating that you have taken some insurance policy. How they can do this without proper document ie, without signature, they are saying that this will be done through voice recorder . in fact i didnt opted for that insurance policy. this is straight away a big fraud. Till now i dont know what is my actual balance and how much i have paid since 1 1/2 year.R.B.I should interfere in this kind of frauds .

Subject: Regarding the issue of payment of loan taken from your bank

This is to bring into your kind consideration that I have taken a sum of approx 8000/- loan from your bank and have paid the one time charges at the first transaction of my installment, regularly every month before the period of the installment date I used to drop the cheque in Jayanagar ATM center in Bangalore. Many cheques has been cleared and two cheques knowingly your bank has stop proceeding the cheque, When I checked with the customer care executives of your bank they gave unnecessary subject regarding those cheque such like no proper card no was written and date was mentioned as last months. When the same checked with my Xerox copies of the cheque which was presented by me to your bank it was correct. Due to your bank mistake I have paid late fee charges too for those cheques and even though I have given one cheque to the collection executive of your bank by hand.

Due to this problem I tried to clear up the total due of the loan taken, for that when I checked with the customer care operator the guy told me that there is a balance of 4450/- which I have to clear.

I made up mind to clear the total loan amount in one short; when I checked with the operator for the same he said that for preclosure of loan the bank take charges of 2% extra on the balance amount. A cheque of Rs.5000/- was drop in the ATM cheque collection box with a date of 11 Sept 2008 and a letter attached to it asking your bank to refund the balance amount after deducting the loan amount with extra charges you charge for the preclosure of the loan amount.

Now at present after 4 months of preclosure of loan, I got a call from your bank tellecaller that there is a balance of 1400 which I have to pay again after the precloser of loan. This is a dispute amount which I have not to pay any more to your bank regarding that loan taken. Kindly check the details and refund my balance amount as soon as possible.

No more issue should be there for this loan, kindly rectify and for assistance you can call up on my mobile no [protected].

Make sure that there should no nusense happen one again with this issue.
