[Resolved]  Abn Amro — Personal Loan- Threatening Calls

I had Applied for a Personal loan (Loan No: 9476694 ) and the Loan was disbursed on 31'st May but I received the DD on 3'rd June and found the letter that I had to pay my First EMI on 13'th June. While I got the DD encashed on 7'th. I requested the customer care to Revise my First EMI date to July 13'th. In the Interim I started getting calls first from the Channel partner Who facilited my Loan and then from a Land line NO:[protected], , This Guy was Very Abusive. and told me To Take the complaint Back or else my CIBIL Records will be screwed. I told I as a customer can request in case of any difficulty and this is not a Police Complaint I have made.
When I returned back the call to the above no it was answered by the sales Manager for personal Loans. He Was apoligotic and he sweared that he was not aware of the Call. With this I could conclude that there is
1. No Data Security of the customer
2. Any channel Partner ( supposed to be rival of the other channel Partner ) can call the customer and Abuse.

Can some one Advise if there is a Appropriate forum to Address this and a legal action be Taken

ABN AMRO CREDIT CARDS — MENTAL THREATENING FROM BANK.

Respected Sir,

i got a call from ABN AMRO bank Delhi branch.regarding panding amount against using credit card.But as I know i dont have any credit card.As per person of bank, they issued that card on march 2003.and that time i was student of first year.I asked them to show me any photo i.d on which they given me credit card.but they said they don't have that much old documents.how stupid kind to talk it is. They told me that they will declare me permanenetly faulty customer.In 2003 i did't have any photo i.d.Name of the person is Jatin sethi.and No is [protected]..What kind of sevice it is.
Now i am very upset that, i am not having a single card but they have data.They call me two to four time.

please Do somthing.

I am Pankaj Gupta, I have taken Personal loan from your bank. My Personal loan A/c No is 9426928 . I want to foreclose this account for this I have talk to Customer Care about foreclose this account & I asked them to tell the correct balance amount to pay so that I can send the cheque to the bank. Two times I have send the cheque to the bank as given address in delhi with the amount tell by Customer care, both the time bank has refund the cheque because of insufficient balance, I have also mentioned my contact no on the letter with the cheque, my question is if in the cheque their is insufficient balance written so, bank must call me and tell about the balance amount.

Now third time I have call to Customer care and the people working in the call centre dont talk properly with the customer . again i call to customer care and conform the balance amount, now I have send the cheque with the balance amount tell by customer care plus 4500/- excess so that bank take the amount and refund the balance.

My experience with your bank was really bad.
I got mental stress on receiving your Good Life Programme card. It is use less. A false information was given to me to get my enorlment for the card. Kindly cancel my card and refund me the fee. Mobile [protected]
Please cancel my card and refund me amount other wise i have no option but to defame the image of ABN Amro bank in Media and knock the door of law.

I had Applied for a Personal loan (Loan No: 9173462). The Loan was disbursed on Jan 2005. Post that close to 30 months i have been making payment without any misses. Later due to my accident leading to financial diffuculties and personal problems, could not make payment on time. Even then i have ensured that payment is within a week by Cash.

After 6 months i received a call from an executive from Delhi ABN AMRO saying due to my track record for last 6 to 8 months, we are changing the auto debit facility from 15th of each month to 1st, which makes payment even more difficult for me to pay as my salary is later than the date changed. Does an executive have authority to call and change the payment date ?

Due to my missed, i started receiving calls to make late payment charges on this loan account. I made arrangements to pay. Till date i have made 3 times payment towards late fees. Jan 2009 i made a payment of Rs. 7060/- towards late payment as mentioned by Mr. Manish from Delhi upto 31st Dec 2008 (he did not give any receipt but gave his mobile no. and said if anyone calls from Delhi on this issue i can refer his name) and he said no one would call me anyone asking for payment.

Within 15 days i received call from Geetha another ABN AMRO executive asking me to make a payment of Rs. 6500 towards late payment charges for loan account 9173462. When i told her i have already made the payment, she insisted me to make a cheque payment for this amount to avoid my name reflecting in CIBIL though i told her that i dont have that much money now.

Bank executives started callin on my mothers mobile no. and disturbing her. she is a school teacher and she is being repeatedly called for making payment. She is in middle of her school exams and results by this continuous disturbance (she was called nearly 25 times) she is mentally disturbed and not able to concentrate on her school work.

For last one week or so i have been getting calls from asking for this payment. Since last 3 days, i have received nearly 40 calls asking for payment of Rs. 5000/- to be made by credit card only even though i said i would make a cash payment. Mr. Yogesh (calls himself Supervisor) informed me to make arrangement to make payment either through my Credit card or some others card (Relatives and Friends), but by card only. I told him that i dont hold any credit card and do not know of anyone who would agree to make payment through Credit card.

I requested Mr. Yogesh that due to the number of calls that me and my mother have received, we are mentally drained and disturbed not able to think what and why and where i am going, to give me weeks time so that the entire amount will be paid to clear the loan with ABN AMRO once for all.

I request the bankers to give me sometime to think, so that i can make arrangements as soon as possible to clear the entire loan amount. Also let me know if there is any forum where i can address this request so that my parents are not disturbed.

I m also in a similar situation of harassment from ABN Amro Bank; and I m seriously pursuing them for an explanation from their Banking authorities. I ve also roped in the RBI for the same – RBI has advised me to wait for 30 days and to see if I get a satisfactory resolution of my complaint.

i have already made the instalment of my personal loan in july but according to the bank branch they are charging late payment fee.the collection department are agree with me and they are accepting that i have made the payment at the time.so there is no any matter of charging late fee.
so i want the revert bank regarding my problem as soon as possible. pls kindly do the needful as sooon as possible.

With respect to this i want tostate that i hav also recived same type of notice byAdvocate, Mr Jitendra K. Zha on 20/9/2007 but iwant to state with regret that the said matter was settele by Bank Coolection Officer, Mr RANA ROY In between MAY2006/ JAN2007 Who was working with Pune Branch but he could not manage or get&forward to me clearance leter from his concern authority since till today though repatative fallow up with him at his Pune Fatima Nagar branch now he might be transferd to their GURAGOAN or any other branch.The concern should give me his detail trace or ask him to rember the case history&should stop these mental harassement to arrange clearance certificate& to stop further gugallary activities.In addition to this your high court advocate canot given his &your contact preson phone nos.SO GOD SAVE ME from this.
