My company has it's head office in Kolkata and is running a PF trust for it's employees .Within four years this company has reduced the basic salary of it's employees nos of times which has resultd in reduced PF deduction and the prospective loss of Gratuity on superannuation.

I wish to know whether any company can violate the provisions of PF act with respect to reduction in Basic salary that may effect the terminal superannuation earnings of the employee.
