Hi,

I bought Airtel Digital TV (HD) about 10 months back and have been regularly recharging on time. We went out of station between Jan 10th and Feb 10th. When we came back we found that the Digital TV was not working. When we went to the apartment terrace to check the Dish Antenna we were surprised to see that the Antenna Receiver was missing. It was professionally being removed, I guess by an Airtel technician. When we called Airtel customer care (which has very poor service), they said that customer id number doesn't belong to me, and also the registered mobile number was recently changed to some other number. We were surprised to hear this and when asked why it was changed they had no answer. They transferred the call twice but none of the representative was able to provide clear answer. In fact they said that we need to pay Rs. 260 to replace the Antenna receiver. Why should I pay this amount ? The customer representative said that he will inform this to senior manager and someone will call us within 48 hours. Now its more than 2 weeks and nobody from Airtel has bothered to call us. We are unable to watch anything on our LED from past few weeks.

I would request to take action against Airtel's unprofessional act and poor customer service. I want this issue to be resolved as soon as possible with no charge.

Dish TV — disconnection of the antenna

The antenna was shifted from its destined position which resulted in a loss of connection.
Do send some one to fix the problem !!!
Foe alignment you need to contact dishtv customer care either by mail or through call.

Airtel — Disconnection without notice

dear sir
my airtell mobile (number [protected])outgoing called were barred(disconnected) from last one week. when asked for reason it was been told that we have not submitted the id prof. but the fact is that from last 3 years we have submited the id xerox. and 1 month back we had asked for it again and we submitted again without any problem. even after submiting the prof my outgoings are been disconnected. i've given again the ID prof two days back still the problem is not been rectifies. when i call the dealer and his manager MR HEERAPPA from HUBLI he replies it'll be done. we have been useing this number from last 8 years.

    plz send call hisory of my mob. [protected] for last six months, which is very important to me.
    Dear Sir,
    My name is Bijo Samuel and i am using this Air-tel from a long period my phone number is [protected], Today i received your service message that RC with 155 with full talk time, so i did it, but when i checked the balance it was not there, so i talked to the retailer about this problem and they called 12144 to confirm this. This retailer is running a medical shop at that time they were very busy and asked to talk to the lady of the above mentioned number, while i was talking she told me to stop the loudspeaker of the phone, I told this lady that the loudspeaker was off and i was talking through the handset. but she did not believe me and she insulted me very badly. I went to your Pattom branch in Trivandrum to complaint against this matter. I have a request that please don't allow your staff to behave like this to your customers. I like your services very much please don't repeat this with others.

      I Have given a complaint with regard to generation of bill even after disconnection of Broadband service on 18/02/2012 to the nodal officer through mail and I got a reply that my complaint would be processed by 22/02/2012 but I am yet to get any response with regard to my complaint. Today I got another bill for the month of February. I have disconnected my Broadband service on 22/12/2011, yet I have received bills for the month of January and February, 2012. Please resolve the issue and cancel the bills for the month of January and February for which I have not availed Broadband service.

      Facts :

      I have been using Airtel Broadband service for over 2 years in vellore, Due to further studies in Chennai I requested disconnection of my Broadband service on 22nd December 2011 and I gave a letter to the Airtel customer outlet at vellore regarding the same. I informed the lady at the customer service desk to cancel my BB connection immediately, since my bill date is 27th of every month. Then on 24th December I submitted the Airtel Phone Instrument and BB Modem and got an acknowledgement regarding the same in a letter.

      I paid my December BB bill in January. In February I received yet another bill for the BB Service. I went to the customer care centre and asked them about it. I related the situation to the lady, for a brief moment she panicked and then told me that the cancellation has been done only on 9th January. I showed her the acknowledgement copy of submission of Modem and to that she replied that it takes 10 days for cancellation.

      I cannot understand why it takes 10 days for cancellation of Service, Where the data could be processed immediately. I asked the lady to let me talk to the seniors. She led me to a person who is about 25 year old. I then related the situation to that person. The person pointed me to be seated and then for about 10 minutes he kept me awaited over his personal matters. He told me that I have to pay at-least Rs. 110 for the cancellation has been made only on 9th January, 2012. I told him I am not responsible for his and the lady's sluggishness and hence I will not pay the bill. He told me "You have to pay the bill, there is no other way".

      AIRTEL BROADBAND SERVICE — billed after disconnection of service

      I have surrendered the SIM immediately within the 24 hrs of the issue of the SIM because they couldn’t provide me the USB device for broadband. I was keen on taking the Airtel broadband service, but because of the above reason I dropped myself.

      AIRTEL BROADBAND SERVICE — Disconnection of the broadband service

      I am using the airtel broadband service and vacating the house. So I called the cancellation department of airtel to cancel the connection as aI will moving out of my current residence. I called the cancellation department several times and the maximum they would do is give me reference number after refernce numbers. I have been following up with them since november and till date my connection is active. When I last called them up, they told me that my coonection had been deactived since 3rd december but when I called them again after few days to verify, I got to know that they have again activated my connection. I dont want to pay for something which I am not using. I called them again but they spoke to me very rudely and said that they dont know why my services were resumed. They also assured me that they will act on my complaint promptly but till now there has been no resolution. The last complaint number that I got is:

      Please help me so that I can get rid of this and dont pay money to airtel people as I am no longer using the services.

      Airtel — Broadband service - No response even after 10 days

      I needed Internet Connection at my place on urgent basis so as to handle my international clients from home. I requested AIRTEL executive to visit me to collect money and documents from me so that I can get AIRTEL Broadband service at home situated at Krishna Apra Garden, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad.
      The AIRTEL executive confirmed that I'll get the internet activiated within two days of application.
      I applied on 19th of October and he (excecutive) mentioned on my Application 'installation date' as 21-oct-2010.
      For the same, he collected INR 500 cheque from me. Same was realized from Bank and money was transfered to AIRTEL account on 23rd Oct'2010.
      But till now, I haven't received any installation of Internet at my home. My international clients called me careless for not responding them on time. AIRTEL has caused my bad reputation among my clients.

      Please help to make sure that AIRTEL should return my installation fee along with damages caused to my reputation.

      Airtel Broadband — Delivering faulty modem - twice and pathetic service response

      As a last attempt to get some decent service from Airtel I am writing to you.

      I have been an airtel customer for about 11 years now and it would be sad to move away from you.
      I have a mobile connection with you, a landline , an IPTV and a broadband with airtel as part of their triple offer. Since i bought that I am faced with such poor service quality on the braodband and IPTV that i am compelled to write here.

      I had raised a compliant on 9th Jan 2011 for my modem not working I was given a time of some 8 hours by which the service would get fixed. Which means no broadband and IPTV for a day. A technician came on 10th Jan 2011 and gave me a modem with in built wireless which worked for an hour and then the wireless part failed. I reopened the compliant on 10th Jan nite and yet again the technician came next day and put in some bogus modem which worked for a few hours and then would not power on at all. Its power button had to be taped up to make it work. I have again registered a complaint and am by now totally frustrated. I received a call back from airtel who said they would look into the issue but i see no action post that. I need to work odd hours as I am in Info Technology field and this is seriously making me miss my work and productivity.

      I would sincerely request you to look into the matter.

      Airtel — Airtel broadband services billed after disconnection

      I was the customer for Airtel landline number [protected]. i had a tariff month 499+ taxes past more than a year they changes tariff plan with out my notice 599+ tax. I spoke to customer services and they never gave response to me then i asked to disconnect services. they said for re-location charges free of cost and they agreed to shift network to new mentioned address. after few week they came up with there is no network in the new address. on 23 April i asked to disconnect services. then also they generated bill on my name.

        Dear Airtel,

        You said, “Jaise chai ke sath toast hota hai, waise Har ek friend jaruri hota hai….!”
        Nice lines, but do you ever followed them?

        I have lots of complaints for you, but you don’t have proper customer support to hear them. Finally one of your branch-level managers suggests me to go for portability. It’s really funny, isn’t it?

        I am suffering from many things provided by “a friend called airtel”.

        I was having a plan which offers me 1paise/sec calling. But suddenly from June2011 you started charging me 1.2paise/sec after asking for reason you replied, “Sorry sir, but you recharged with a voucher Rs45 which makes your call for 1.2paise/sec, it’ll be for one month..! Do you need any more help…? Thank you for calling airtel… Have a nice day.. ”

        But you charged me for six months and more with the same charges.

        I was used to it. Then you started debiting Rs1/sms instead of 50paise/sms. This time I decided to go for mobile sim portability. I ask for it.

        Suddenly your department woke up, saying, “Hey our friend is living us, stop him, convince him..!”

        Then your retention department made a call to me, asking the reason. I explained him everything above mentioned.
        He said, “Dear friend of airtel, I am offering a special plan to you. The plan is for six months. You’’ll be charged as airtel-to-airtel 1paise/6sec and airtel-to-other in India 1paise/2sec and any landline call 1paise/sec, Rs1/sms…..This is free to you for 1 month, from next month you’ll be charged rs1/day as a charge for service for 5 months…”

        I said, “OK, give one more chance to my stupid friend”

        The day you called was 16th Jan 2012. You promised that it’ll be start within 72 hours.

        Again I made a call to ask you on 26th Jan. You replied, “Dear (Stupid) FRIEND, the service is already activated from 19th Jan”
        I said, “I am not getting any benefits of the call rates you mentioned”

        You promised to reply in 2 days, but this time too, “Tie tie fish”
        I said to myself, “POPAT”…..

        Then on 19th Feb. You started charging me Rs1/day for service you promised me.
        I made a call, you said nothing.

        I report to nearest branch of Sinhgad road, Pune-Maharashtra on Feb 22, 2012. He is promising me to resolve my problem since then.
        On 27th Feb, the manager (Mrs. Smita Madale, [protected]) over the Sinhgad Road branch, I talked with her too, explaining my issue. She again promised to call me back in 30 minutes, again same story, and no reply.

        One of the next afternoon, one of the customer care executive (Mr. Mayank, [protected]) over there called me and said, “Dear (Stupid) sir, your service will be freshly started within 48 hours. That is from 1st March your six month service will start”

        I was very much happy; you can’t imagine I updated my facebook status too... 

        And yesterday I made a call to the branch-office again, he replied me as, “Dear (stupid) friend, I suggest you to wait for Monday, March 5, 2012, if are not notify please go for portability”

        I am still laughing at these responses from a friend.

        I am using airtel from past six years, but last six months are “ohhhhh”. I don’t want to explain them to anyone more.

            Hello Airtel Customersupport,

            I have Airtel number [protected] for several years and since last week it is suddenly showing as "Inactive SIM".

            I had international roaming enabled on this number as I am currently in Kenya.

            I tried to topup credit on my number, hoping that this is related to zero credit but unfortunately the Airtel recharge page gives me an error that my number [protected] is not a valid prepaid number.

            Please help ASAP.

              Sir i have applied BB Connection before two months and i asked to change my plan from home UN limited plus (750 per month) to home 125 but they said minimum 3 months plan should be used i also accepted and used BB in unlimited plan but they changed the plan to 125 with out prior intimation and my 2nd month bill comes above 2000rs now i unable to pay the amout i request you to change my plan same ul plan and send the bill i hope your helping to me reply as soon as possible TEL NO :[protected]

              I had registered a request for change of my plan from Rs.1399 to Rs.799 plan five days ago and they had said that the plan will be changed within 3 days and gave me a complaint no.10469681 but they had not changed the plan yet and 7 days has passed.. i called them again and they registered another complaint 33458750 but i dont think they ll change the plan..               i am having my airtel broadband connection no. 45032879 in the name of sonia mehta at shop no.82, old rajinder nagar market, near kotak mohindera bank, new delhi-60 with plan of rs.1300/- plus but now i do not require this plan and request to change this plan into rs.499/- pm plan. no action has been taken in spite of my phone requests. kindly interve in this matter and my plan rs.499/- be given to me at an earliest. thanks n regards.

                Sir on 3.3.2012, 99rs was deducted from my account from mobile no [protected]. When i called customer care they told me that i had activated hungama wap content which actually i havent activated. They told me that i had activated hungama wap content by browsin Airtel Live which i havent opened and they also told me that the money will not be refunded to my account and they are forcing me to accept that i had activated the service. I got a message that 'Thanks for using Pack Purchase subscription service from Airtel. You have been charged Rs 99." So it is my humble request you to sort out my problem. Thank You

                I do not understand what is this service and why the company deducated Rs 99 from my mobile account for such a service( Pack Purchase subscription Service ) which I never demanded

                So your goodself is requested that the above amount should be credited in my mobile account ([protected]). Please do the needful in this regards.

                  Airtel charged me incorrectly for 6 months rental for 3G in Aug 2011. I filed a complaint and asked for refunds. For this Airtel mentioned that we will provide the refund in the form of Cheque but this cheque never reached me. This cheque was also not encashed by whoever the receiver was so AIRTEL did not loose any money. Now, I have raised lots of complaint and called 100s of times to Airtel, talked to escalation manager, floor manager, Nodal officers etc but no resolution yet. Following are some of the Service request numbers: 39402640, 41540077, 41578525, 41710832. Following is the interaction ID with Nodal officer (Mr Vinay):[protected] which has the latest context. Please note that I have informed in clear terms that I will not make any payments to AIRTEL till this issue is resolved and it has been 5 months now since AIRTEL is working on this issue. I was also not expecting any kind of disturbances in mobile services as this is a corporate connection and I as the customer is not at fault here. Rather I am the one who is doing all the follow ups which is really disappointing.

                  Despite the above clarification Airtel has barred my outgoing calls and 3G services. Airtel presence team from Delhi is also involved but I am not sure why they are not able to resolve it. The issue has simple solutions:
                  1. Cancel the old cheque and issue a new one. Provide me the tracking ID of courier by which the cheque is being sent.
                  2. Simpler solution is: Directly adjust this amount (Rs 2063/-) in current outstanding amount and I can make the remaining payment.

                  The irresponsible behavior from Airtel is really disappointing on this long pending complaint and I am not sure why Airtel presence team is also acting like deaf n dumbs. Anyone knows what else I as a customer can do? What is the next level of escalation?

                  To add to above comments: I am not going to settle down with 2063.00 as I was tortured by Airtel for 4 months. I was the one who had to do all the follow ups with Airtel presence team and those follow ups were not on toll free numbers. So, unless there is a sufficient compensation in addition to the amount due from Airtel to me, I cannot consider this issue as resolved.

                    I was using the airtel number more than 8 years, how come you people blocked and deleted my number without informing or sending text. When I went to your customer service they said it was informed to me by call and text, and later it was deleted from our system. Airtel Lairs
                    IF you want the same number again than you should go for billing (postpaid) what’s the cache!!!

                    Lairs, no body tried to inform me neither by phone conversation nor text message, what was your intention to block my simcard number; I had a balance of 58 rupees, how come you people deleted my number from your system. This is under the Airtel Law!! Show me you’re Law Terms and Conditions, Public Service or Personal Service. Im really pissed off from your Damn Things you’re really doing with loyal customers, or you need me to sue on you?
                    My bank accounts service relay on my Airtel number used since 8 years.
                    I want my simcard & same number back without cooking new stories, or I will go to Court.

                    Airtel — Lairs at Airtel

                    Dear Sir,

                    Airtel is a lousy company. They are big time cheat. They commit something ask to shelve out money for something else. They will make your life hell and their recovery man are Goondas.

                    I was committed by their TSM ANSHUMAN PATHAK and ZSM SUMEET NARANG who are compulsive lairs and cheat. They will make the company pay for their misdeeds. They should be kicked out of the company and an enquiry be initated against them

                    i have got the Airtel mobile number[protected] . i am getting the sms every day that your subscription has been renewed for games and rs 5 are deducted from your account . While I have not subscribed that package ever. pls pls delete my name from that service . i dont want to avail that facility in near by future . pls thanks.

                    Airtel — my no. deleted before 90 days

                    i am customer of airtel since 5 yrs , i removed sim card on 21/may/2011 and put it againn today and i found that the signal was not coming , i contacted C S , they told me that ur no. has been deleted becoz i didnt use it , they said that if i dont use iwithin 90 days , then ur no automatically gets deleted but today is 5/aug/2011 , its been not even 90 days and they have deleted my no , which is unfair , coz i am their customer since 5 yrs and they should appreciate that , when i last time recharged it , its validity was till june 2013 , still they deleted my no , i want my no back , any how else i am gonna hit cosumer court.

                    AirTel — Deletion of my number

                    HI ,

                    I had been out of INDIA for 80 days, and I was not aware of the rule that in 3 months the number will be deleted.

                    I have been using my number for the past 6 to 7 years.

                    I had called the airtel customer care number before completion of 90 days, and they had told me that the number has been deleted and it cannot be got back.

                    Today I went to airtel office near my house and they are saying that the number could have been activated if i had come before 90 days.

                    I got wrong communication from the airtel customer care , and they have not logged when I had called them and the conversation between us.

                    I dont know whether airtel can do something like this to a customer who has been using their service for so many years.

                    This problem was due to wrong communication from the customer care agent.

                    The agent in the office spoke very rude as well.

                    Please help me in this regard.

                      I am Vijay Praveen Kumar & i have the airtel sim with number - [protected], which is andhra pradesh number & is currently under roaming in karnataka & on 1/3/2012 morning i got an sms from airtel stating that as this number is not being used since 3 months i need to start using to avoid disconnecton of the same. with immediate effect i have started using the number & made calls as well. when i received another same sms on 2/3/2012, I have checked on the customer care number - [protected] on 2/3/2012 with Mr. venkatesh & Mr.Naveen as well if my numbers ok to use & was reassured that as i started using it & could see 4 calls been made recent, the sim is active & they asked me to ignore the sms received as well.



                      But i was shocked to notice that the sim is inactive this morning & when called the [protected] number i was told after 16 minutes of call by Mr.Subramanyam that the sim is recycled & passed on to his supervisor Mr.mani, who very ubruptly stated that he is from cisco & got nothing to do with the previous associates reassurances on my sim being active & my number is recycled now.



                      I would like to bring to your kind notice that this number has been updated as the only contact number a week back in my resumes & is the only way of contact with many companies for me now & even all my bank accounts & other services have been linked to this number & hence keep getting all sms's to this number itself & hence request you to reinstate the number for me as early as possible.



                      Hope to get the positive result as early as possible from your end.

                        We are giving regular complaints to Airtel, regarding signal problems at our home, but till date no action has been taken, several engineers have visited the site and found the problem, but no action has been taken till date, please do the needful.

                          I had charged my Airtel mobile [protected] on 22nd feb 2012 for 80.00 Rs and since 1st march random deductions like 1Re and in excess were noted. on the 2nd of march, I had a balance of 59 Rs and it was suddenly wiped off and got a shock when I checked my balance. I immediately went to the Airtel relationship centre and was given a no. to talk to customer service. I called them up and was told that the deduction was for browsing the internet, but I have been browsing for 2 years on wi-fi and never had this problem. When I mentioned this fact they said it was unique for some handsets like blackberry (I used blackberry 8520 which is 2G) and iphones where for some applications they start using 3g services. I corrected them saying my phone was 2g and not 3g compatible, they said is was a slip of tongue and they meant that I was using 2g services.
                          The whole thing seems fishy and how could some applications use prepaid credit when I always use wi-fi at all times. Me explaining this fact seems to have no effect and they insist my phone somehow managed to use the prepaid credit and change the settings by itself to leave me with zero credit.
                          I'm absolutely disappointed with the explanations which they seem to make up as they go along and I doubt my future prepaid recharges would be safe either. I would greatly appreciate if the issue is brought to relevant persons and my money credited. If there is anything I can do myself, advice would be appreciated.

                            This is in reference to a call made to the Blackberry Airtel Customer Care department(7070) from number [protected] at 02:02pm.THE ATTENDENT TOLD HIS NAME Mr.VIKAS.

                            But I am really very sorry to say the Attendant didn't know the sense of talking , If i am not understanding a thing, he is no one to shout on me and say that i am not knowing any thing in a very rude behaviour and sarcastic manner(bad insulting language) to show the customer down ,really it was bad on his part to misbehave in that way which is not at all acceptable and just hell he also turned some words out which is not resistable at all.
                            With only the respect of Airtel I did not reply him and disconnected the phone.

                            But for sure this matter has to be taken up seriously and some Punishment OR STRICT ACTION should be rendered or else i will just Port my number to some other network but i don't want to do that as i am a customer with airtel since last 12years.
                            or else i should move to the higher authorities if nothing is done to it.
                            If attendant like him stays in the company the company would have a very bad impression.

                            So not to increase the complaint and telling about that worst attendant i would like you to take a strict action so that it is never happens again .
                            Will wait for your precious action and the reply to it. Hope to have a serious action from your-side with full investigation to know the worst of it!

                                Inspite of paying the entire annual rental in advance for airtel landline number [protected], the line has been disconnected since last 45 days which is creating a very bad image of airtel. The customer care team along with “Appellate”, “Esupport” and “Nodal” is purposely avoiding this issue and not replying.

                                No reply to mails, no action taken.

                                As per customer care executive, the permission for this connection is not there in the society. Our simple question is, how the rental charged in advance and connection given if not permission is there? How the connection stood active for 5 months without any trouble?

                                If Airtel is not in a condition to provide support, we have requested a refund of the balance rental paid for the period ever since the connection has become inactive.

                                We expect a call to the user Kalpesh Shah at [protected] with a proper solution. To mention, so far many junior officials have called to give new new ticket numbers, without any solution. We do not have much time and patience to entertain useless calls now.

                                Do you guys think that I am a big time . As an end user, how am I suppose to get permissions for you for an old connection that was working since months. Please stop this nonsense as it does not befit a company like Airtel.

                                I am surprised by the comfort zone in which your staff has been hatching my complains. Somebody please show the responsibility and own this issue.

                                The trailing mail is only tip of the iceberg. Your account of your pathetic services is as attached herewith for you kind perusal.

                                This is the final mail from my end to your department. My next mail will be now be addressed your top management and the Consumer Forum.

                                Do you think we are fool to receive bunch of ticket numbers from you? As per customer care executive, the permission for this connection is not there in the society. Our simple question is, how the rental charged in advance and connection given if not permission is there? How the connection stood active for 5 months without any trouble?

                                Please reply the above queries and do let us know what you are going to do - activate the connection or refund the balance rental.

                                Same here I am using broadband connection but not able to bourse, connection always fails, now ur technician says modem is the problem, u have to change it, it's better u disconnect the internet connection, pls do the needful

                                  I have Airtel Broadband installed at my home with Phone number - [protected]. My problem is that they have upgraded my broadband plan without any prior notice and which have caused me to pay extra 100+rs per month.

                                  My plan was and unlimited plan with speed of 512kb/sec till 10GB and 256kb/sec after that but now they have upgraded it to 2mb/sec for 10GB and 256kb/sec after that. My problem is that i was able to consumer an appreciable speed of 512kb/sec for minimum of 15 days a month but now due to 2mb/sec speed my high speed data limit use to get end within the first week of month.

                                  I have contacted costumer care many times but they are not willing to give any positive response to my problem. Either they have to reinstate my old plan or i want the high data usage to be upgraded to 20gb under my current plan.

                                  Hope airtel will do something about it or i will be hitting consumer court soon.

                                    Airtel digital tv has made me a call on 25feb from mobile no. [protected] , [protected] and told me that i[censored] recharge your airtel digital tv account with rs. 1100 then u got 6+6 months scheme. Then i recharge my account with rs. 1100 and call back to company and told her that i recharge my account then they reply me that u got ur scheme within few hours. Then on next day i call back to company and told her that i didnt get my scheme upto now.. Then they reply me that u got ur scheme within few hours.then on next day i call to company customer CARE number then they reply me that u need to change ur plan and we are changing it aand u got ur scheme within 48hrs. But i didnt got it. Then on 29feb i call back to company customer CARE number then they reply me that this scheme is not valid to u.plz help me.

                                      i am the unfortunately victim of your company i have around 7 postpaid numbers with me in my house .i took due to insist of your company.i want to take attention of the company about certain problems which is a total harrasment to me and my family.
                                      first of all i want to tell in the month of january 2011 executives of your company came to my house and insisted to take 4 numbers in cug plan ,and similarly i took the numbers [protected],[protected],[protected],[protected].
                                      due to these numbers i immediately contacted customer care num,bers and requested and instructed them to disconnected the number [protected] because i am getting some unwanted calls.after two three days i got a call from senior official of your company requesteing not to disconnect number ,but i strictly instructed her to disconnect the number as early as possible.she committed me that the number will be automatically disconnected within 48 hours.the number is disconnected around 20 february 2011.
                                      surprisingly the so called reputed company is charging the bill till date .i really shocked and keep informing about this on customer care but who cares for the customer ,the so called reputed company is interested in making money by fraudful activities by duping innocent consumers .no action taken by company to my compaints.i sent my written application to the outlet r c cellular laxmi nagar nagpur but they refused to accept.i sent several e mails but no response got.

                                      this time company is try to prove they really involved in fraudful activities by charging forged bill to the customers/consumers.they charged around 1600 billed and 3800 unbilled amount to me as airtel live gprs charges excluding other charges.i shocked to see the amount the services which i have never used the com-pany is going on charging the same.similarly i continuosly informed customer care and nodal officer of concerned region but the company is do not have any bother to response.which is shameful in the market.i paid the bill but i do not got any explanation about this.

                                      prior to two months i visited your outlet laxminagar nagpur to migrate my bill plan into 999 advance rental plan.executive informed me the availability and told me to talk on hot line from your outlet.i done the same thing and your hotline executive has instructed me to deposit 999 rs cash at the outlet to activate the plan.i deposited the cash at the outlet but today i recieved the bill of [protected] i again shocked that no such plan is activated on mu number .it is a height of tolerance from a customer /consumer to tolerate such activities of company.

                                      Please avoid airtel postpaid connection as they will charge over the amount, they will charge daily, though you didnt use your mobile on that day. If we ask the customer care then they will reply "we are not responsible and you are using the mobile so we are charging" they will reply with arogant.

                                      We moved to Bangalore from Gurgaon in December 2007. In Gurgaon we had taken Airtel Landline connection with DSL (#[protected]. When we moved to Bangalore we asked for the connections to be deactivated. The phone connection was deactivated on 25-Dec-2007 as per Airtel Records. The DSL connection, they never disconnected. Now they have come to us asking for payment of amount nearing Rs.40,000/- saying that the DSL was not disconnected and had been used (don't know by whom). It was Airtel's failure to deactivate the DSL and someone has been fraudulently using it. Why should I be paying it?

                                      I went to USA for business purpose for the duration of 1 Week. From USA through Dial91 i made calls to india. I made 21 calls in total. But im suprised to see airtel bill. they made charges for 34 calls each call costs 55 Rs. i talked to customer care so many times but the result, as everyone knows waste of time. Then i got the call histroy from Dial 91 with all the evidence i send it to appelate team for the justification. But the team replies with single line our billing is correct. I talked to the appelate representative subramni for about 20 min. I explanied my situation with complete evidence so many time. he also stand my the word " i understand your situation but our billing is correct" I fed up with is issue for the last 2 weeks.
                                      Now i have to pay for all 34 calls whether i made it or not doesn't matter. since it is reflected in the bill i have to pay the bill.

                                      I am not sure if this forum is going to assist / sort out the issue I have. Here goes.

                                      I have an airtel postpaid sim card. I had asked for 2G activation of internet for which I was informed that the charge was Rs.98/- till 1GB. After 1GB, it would be charged at 10ps per 10kb. Now my monthly bill is Rs.1600/-!

                                      I called up customer care. Airtel 3g was activated on my airtel number three months back and there was no intimation about the same. I had asked for 1GB plan (2g) at Rs.98/- per month. Now the bill has been charged at 10ps per 10kb because of 3g. Airtel manager (Abdul) had stated that this is because of a tie up between airtel and sony ericsson, which is none of my concern. Why should I pay for a service that was not activated by me nor airtel confirming that this service has been activated on my number. I would like to know how to go about filing a legal complaint in case this is not resolved.

                                      Its become a routine for Airtel to cheat me when it comes to billing my postpaid number. Inspite of taking the 999 plan per month the company claims that i have used more than 4GB internet usage for the given month while the only use i do is o[censored]sing a few websites like sbi, goofgle, etc, whatsapp and facebook. For my usage it will surely not cross 2GB at the max.
                                      Its been 6 months now that after i receive my bill i always have to call and clarify with them to which they usually verify and accept their mistake but this time their customer call centre executive named Neha seemed to be so adamant about the fact that she refused to agree on this point.Before speaking to her i had already confirmed from another gentleman at the airtel customer service that there has been a mistake in the billing but Ms.Neha refused to even agree to this. Having such a large company and such a mishandled customer service is shame. The fact that the customer has to call up every month keeping track of what the company has billed it is itself a proof that there is no satisfaction . This has therefore forced me to change to another service provider which will in no way affect the Giant-Airtel but it definitely leaves a bad impression. Take your hold people at airtel -it will not be long before everyone is frustrated because of this.

                                        on 24th of february,i had activated a 3g plan costing rs 43 on my number and for that company deducted rs 43 from my main balance. since then my plan has not been activated till today. i registered a complaint to the costumer care executive regarding the problem and company promised me to solve my problem till 27th february evening. But now they are ignoring my number and i am not able to connect to the costumer care helpline. even i am having balance but they are telling me that i cant make calls because of insufficient balance. i am fade up of all such faults of airtel company.
