Dear Sir,
I draw your kind attention to the following facts:

That I am your customer since 2005 you can verify from your records. I opted Plan 699 at that time in which No Free Calls were allowed.
even speed was very low 128 only.

That I was kept under same plan even you were offering Plan 649 with Rs100/- Free Calls with speed 256.

That when I came to know about this after one & half year of your launching of Plan 649 with free calls at double the speed through your service engineer who was regularly attending my complaints of very low speed. He questioned me why I have kept Plan699 at 128 when better Plan649 with 256 speed & 100/- free calls is available. Please verify from your records that on my complaint to this regard I was told that I should have been in regular touch& opted the new Plan as it was not companies responsibility to Inform about it to Existing Customers.

That the customer's opted Plans are never changed without their consents so the mistake was on my part that I did not opt New Plan 649 at 256speed & Free Calls of Rs.100/- per month. So I was left with No option to remain a sufferer for the past Two years as mistake was indicated on my Part by Airtel.

That now without getting my consents I have been shifted to Plan749 and got a bill for Feb Month as per new Plan. I wish to know why I have been transferred to a new Plan when my existing Plan for the last few years is Rs.649/- monthly rental & Rs.100/- free calls to any Net work.

That I have been charged for the calls also during this period & enhanced bill have been raised for which I have made payments in time as per my Plan649 in Protest so that my services are not got effected.

That I wish to know is it not a Bureaucratic action on part of Airtel. How company can force a Existing Customer to a new Plan without getting consents of the Subscriber. Take in consideration both the cases & take your decision as per Consumer Laws as your action is totally Illegal & Unwanted.

That I wish to remain in my existing Plan649 please amend my previous bill accordingly & don't put me under Mental Harassment by your unwanted action.

I humbly request you to kindly take an appropriate action to avoid unwanted litigation otherwise I shall be compelled to handover the case to my Mom Mrs.Veena Sharma (Advocate) to seek Justice from Consumer Court & TARI as per existing law.

Looking forward for a healthy customary relationship between Service Provider & the Subscriber.

My all telephonic complaints have been turned down by your relevant officers in this regard.

Any loss due to interrupter services till the case is solved will be to your account.

    After implementation of new billing system all bills are inflated and you will be forced you to pay those.
    Today, I got a call from the Airtel office( Achutha M S – Airtel Karnantaka) to settle my account by Paying Rs. 3000 ( Actual Amount) in place of Rs. 7500.( According to them) and agreed that they had problems with billing systems. Also, he agreed to reconnect my broad band Service with in next 48 Hrs. but now they are forcing me to make the remaining payment and till that time my broad band service will not be reconnected .

    Hi,
    On 17th of March, 2011 i applied for Airtel Broadband Connection. After waiting for about 10 days i didn't get any update regarding the status of my application. When i called customer care they told me that it's not possible to provide broadband connection in my locality. But by that time they already withdrew the amount of RS. 699 from my account. Now when i am calling them for the refund of my money they are simply ignoring my call.

    Request you to please do the needful.

      Hi,

      Channel 529(Abn news) has been removed from Airtel DTH services from past 20 days . When i checked with customer care, they are not sure why this has removed and also not sure when it will back. Please let me know the reason why it has been removed and from when it will available.

        Sir, I am writing to you in fear. Given that in our country, many people with political influence run service agencies, they can physicall harm us for raising a complaint. So please help and tell us how to get our service without facing any problems.

        I am writing to you on a complaint I had made on 10.03.2012 to the Airtel customer care for which no action has been taken till now. The worst part is that a fraudulent activity has been done by Airtel which not only demeans your company but also make a fool o[censored]s as a customer.
        The person requesting this service in a 66 years old lady and her 82 year old husband, whose source of passing time is praying and watching the TV. I had to suffer the indignity in the hands o[censored]nscrupulous Airtel staff and agents, all because I decided to go with Airtel rather than a more honest service provider.
        We had ordered for Airtel HD TV on 7.03.2012. The receipt number is 51272. We paid the money in advance but did not get any response. After a lot of contacting different numbers, the service people came on 10.03.2012. This was to be an additional connection to what we already had in my son’s room.
        They however did not bring the entire equipment, and the receiver and power cord were missing from the box. They said that they will bring the receiver the next day and wanted us to sign the forms stating that all work in done and we are satisfied with their work. But this was not right as all work was not done. So when we refused to sign the document, they took back the set top box, promising to return the next day with all equipment.
        On the very same day we called 12150, the customer care, and a women on the other side refused to file our complain stating that we don’t have the name and number of the serviceman. How can this be a reason for not recording complaints? We are not complaining against a person, we are stating that we did not get the product we ordered.
        However she (Ms. Archana or such) refused and put us the line to Devaraj who called himself the manager of the customer care. He promised that the complaints (mentioned below) would be taken care of and solved the very next day. The complaints were
        1. The service was ordered on 7.3.2012 but not active even on 10.3.2012
        2. The set top box did not have a seal, it looked like it was used earlier
        3. Not all the items mentioned on the cover were in the box
        4. We lost service as the old set top box was removed and when replaced, it did not work
        The solutions he provided were
        1. Service will start on 11.03.2012 morning
        2. New sealed piece would be given. Devaraj would himself register this in our name and check if it is an unused piece
        3. All items will be provided
        4. As a compensation for the loss of service, the validity of the service will be extended by 2 days
        He promised to call in the evening after talking to the technical team. But he didn’t.
        The next day 11.03.2012 went in wait. We made many calls to the customer care, and every time all the service agents refused to take the complaint and give a complaint number stating that it is already in process. Then why the hesitation to give a number.
        The following day, 12.03.2012 unfolded the fraud of Airtel. An honest official told us that in the official records it is mentioned that the set top box is already provided, and activated and working since 10.03.2012. This is an utter lie.
        How can I either get my money back or the service provided, in such a way that the providers will not spoil it in a fe months.

          I am Airtel customer for more than 7 years. We recently shifted our house within Erode city. Though the place is within the city limits, the network reach is worst. There are many Airtel users in that street (4 connections in our family itself). The person on the other side could not hear what we speak. The tower point is as low as one and rarely two points out of 4.

          If the same scenario continues, we may have to switch to other network.

            My mobile doesn't work
            i have no outgoing call in my cell, airtel provider.this problem occurs in last 72hr.i am also complain it but does not work.

            I am a customer of Airtel DTH and belong to a small city in sonebhadra. my receiving box is not functioning since last 20 days beside several complains it has not been taken care and it is in the warranty period also. this is the third time that it is not working properly.

            i have login the complain every where but no action has been taken till date and you are my last hope. i have also taken 1 year subscription.

I complaind regards the same they had come to my place and checked their was a problem at the cable outside my premises they had given me a complaint number i.e., 53909040 the person informed tat thel line vil be rectified by 4pm ven i called them [protected],[protected],[protected],[protected] i was rigged 20rs just caling these numbers only computer message i was to endup they asked me to wait and wait but no one picked for ur knowledge the last number provided my me was tat of appellate authority and also of a nodal officer . I think they r mending money by this way ilike to bring to the notice to the TRAI tat the practise of putting recoded voice to be stoped any way they are charging then why they charge from the begining? Why cant they charge from the time customer care people start speaking its extrorbitryly charging . Why TRAI doesnot look in to this day robery from the network people

            This is regarding my Airtel Broadband, am using Airtel more than 3 years. Recently am not getting proper service, frequently its getting disconnected.

            Last 4 days my connection not working.

            I have created complaint to Airtel, But Issue not resolved. Also am not getting proper update from them.

            They are not aware of the impact for customer. Seems poor responsible….

            Hi, Airtel work dedicatedly for its customers but the same is not done by employees of Airtel. The best way to get your complaint resolve is to call nodal officer and file your complaint there. Your problem will be resolved in 24 hrs.
            Hi, I also faced the same problem quite some time back and ended up in closing the connection. Poor service.
            Airtel service was good, But not now...

            Am also facing same issue but am not getting solutions... Poor Service...

              i buy a airtel postpaid sim from nangal your dealer on 2march on this sim envelope only sim no.[protected]F is written and no mobile number is issued or written on this sim , dealer say that company contact your on your alternate no. [protected] for your mobile no. choice but still date 12 march no call from airtel punjab i can receive for this regard , i deposite all neccesarly document related to sim . number of time i going to dealer in this case but dealer say there is shortage of mobile number so your sim is not activated but sir if this is happen It is not the duty of company they personly contect the customber and excuse the custombe I also contact the customber care help line no. but they know nothing in this regard. i also contact on this no.                 I am bearing Airtel prepaid connection – [protected], on which issues of balance getting deducted by activating useless services automatically. Couple of days back Rs 45-50/- were deducted,

                Such kind of incidences are occurring quite frequently now a days, this is really frustrating of every time calling the call center & getting the services deactivated, I guess this is being done intentionally to generate the revenues by this way or the other.

                Could you please look into this to get this resolved

                  I have been using Airtel prepaid service from 2007. When I took the card it was friends card.
                  My validity was supposed to expire on 6th March 2012. So I asked the customer care which is the voucher for extending the validity and my friends plan should be as it is.
                  So the customer care suggested me to make recharge of Rs 110/- so that my previous plans would be as it is. I have recharged the of Rs 110/- some where on 28th or 29th feb or on 1st or 2nd march, I do not remember the exact date. Also last year in month of April I have made recharge of rs 26/- (call charges 1rs fro 1st call and 40paise later on, friends plan as it is.)

                  But from 6th march I have been charged 1 Rs for every call I made also in Happy hours (10:00pm to 06:00Am and 3:00pm to 5:00pm) I was charged 1Rs.
                  Please tell me how my plan got expired even after extending the validity?

                  I have been using your services from 2007 and you are not providing me any good service. How can I believe that your company belives in customer satisfaction.
                  You are just trying to fool me and other customer.
                  I will have to thing to cancel all my service(including DTH, Prepaid and postpaid mobile connections, data card) with Airtel. Even I would recommend my friends and relatives not to take any services of Airtel.

                  Even the your customer care support do not have manners to talk to customers. They are saying I have not made any recharge in the month of Feb and march nor do I have made any call to other Airtel number for which I have been charged 1Rs instead of 10p. What a bull and lie statement you are making to me.
                  If you do not want to provide any kind of good services to your new as well as old customers just tell them clearly soory we cannot provide you any service instead of telling such statement and lying to customers.

                    Activation of VAS without requesting
                    I have a pre-paid mobile ([protected]) connection provided by Airtel. The service provider has activated Airtel Gyan Pack service on my mobile connection and debited Rs.14/- till date even when I did not ask for its activation. It is unfair by the service to activate any service without consumer asking for it. Please arrange to DEACTIVATE it immediately & REFILL the deducted amount at the earliest.

                    Airtel — activating paid services without request

                    airtel has activated the tamil portal services to my number and deducted Rs 50 for activation. i have not given any request for activation of the same and the customer care executives were also not able to track the details.

                    last week the same kind of incident happened for airtel jokes and i got refund subsequently.

                    AirTel — Activation of VAS

                    On Date 12.04.2011 & 14.04.2011 VAS servise is activate & Balance is Deducted without any prior information.This is happened in two times.
                    I am contacting to customer care but call is not connected to him.
                    I am called on 14.04.2011 from my friends no.([protected]) but my call is disconnected from customer care executive without giving any information.

                    Airtel — Starting of paid services without any request

                    My mobile number is [protected]. I don't know how persons sitting at airtel dare to start a paid services in my mobile phone without my consent. I have stopped a service called Cricinfo 10 times but again they start it without my consent. Now I have decided to take the help of consumer court.

                      getting calls from unknown number

                      I am getting unknown calls from these 2 numbers- [protected], [protected]. When i receive calls from these numbers nobody speaks. I get call from these numbers no. of times in a day.When i try to call back i found these numbers switchoff. Please file a complaint against these numbers so that i dnt get further calls.

                      I am call center employee i have 2200 rs balance against my postpaid connection ([protected]). i got a call from agency lady ([protected])and she told me your mobile bill pending submit your all dues. i am reply her i will pay on 8 march. suddenly i my child result has been declare and i have to go school and i have to purchase all books & stationer from the school this is compulsory, only i can purchase from the school. After that i got call against same lady executive and she call me continuously on my number & before that i told him i can pay 8 march all my dues. But she threatening to me & my all call detail sharing with my friends, my father, my wife & also my relative, in spite of she already have my alternate number. i warned many times her. But she did continuously and she is not talked in manner. She many times use abused language with my father and with me. Also she called my wife & give a number which is mostly dialed no. by me. this connection purchase by only airtel to airtel for sales call purpose. And also blackmailing to me, if you not make a payment. “Agency Lady spoke: I will do again”. My relationship with my wife in trouble and she right now left for own her home. I want take very very very very strict action against Agency and also agency lady. Call detail sharing with other people I think is illegal. So it is mean Airtel sell connection for customer benefit or blackmailing to customer. I want take action within 24hour. My first priority – problem should be solve from direct Airtel officer either I would prefer to Delhi Police and telecom ministry.

                      Airtel — Blackmailing & Threatening

                      Hi,
                      I would like to get some clarifications legally..There is this collection agency in Chennai trying to get their payment from me for their services.But since i got married i planned to terminate the card and close my account and had sent a letter and cheque which they claim they did not receive and thus they asked me to send the payment again..as there was no debit in my account for that cheque i decided to send the payment again.Meanwhile they had called my mother in law and had harrased and thretened her and had used abusive uncouth language and have insulted her and our family for the delay of payment.he later called my friends and my husband as well and have given false ideas like i ve asked them to pay my bills..which is just not true.they later called me up and comment about my personal life (like was my love life exciting and how it was and things like tat)how does he even know about my personal life..my msgs sent to my husband before marriage..My question is...Can Airtel Ruin my modesty and my respect in my in laws house and wit friends and relatives After i have told them to collect the payment from me personally or i can pay through any mode..Is there anything i can do to this kind of behaiviour and mental torture given by them.Kindly help me wit this rude uncivilised behaiviour from Airtel.

                      Airtel — Misuse of call details

                      Hi, I recently closed my Airtel connection, got the bill with a due date 15 days later, but the Airtel collection centres started calling people I used to call frequently and ask for the bill payment even though the due date is still 4 days to go.. They have not called me at the contact number given (home landline) even once.

                      my name is anurag goel. i am a retailer in the cantt area and i am fed up of the services of airtel . we dont have proper dse visit in store
                      if i am using demo of outside distributor airtel is blocking my demo and if i am using demo by my own distributor he is not providing me the value i am asking value from last 21 may and today is 24 th may and i have not received value till now... may be this is a service of airtel but i ont think so its a proper service

                        I'm using 98 rs Internet package and every month 98 rupees will be deducted automatically,this month it got deducted with 98 and Internet package is not activated,
                        on 9th march i was having 250+ balance and now it is .9 rs due to the above specified problem,

                          i have taken airtel connection in friends plan in 2006 with a call charge tariff of 60 paisa per minute. For many years i have an offer with a call charge of 50 paisa per minute .. now all on a sudden they are changed it to 1 rupee per minute without any prior notice. Now nowhere in india is having such a tariff for local calls. This is cheating and if no further action will be taken . we will make use of number portability and its a bad thing for such a big company..My number is [protected].

                            Airtel 2G GPRS service is pathetic. Firstly even after getting full signal on my micromax dongle i was not able to connect to the airtel network.

                            Secondly the Customer care service of Airtel is further more pathetic. They hardly solve any issues and keep on directing to newer numbers and keep you waiting . This has become a new source of revenue for Airtel as this is charged @50 paise for 3 minutes.

                            Thirdly i was accessing my internet smoothly on my linux machine but after 30 minutes of accessing internet i was getting "SIM Card registration failed" message and the customer care service did not show any interest in resolving the problem.

                            I guess Airtel India is hell bent in making money rather than giving satisfactory service

                              Bharthi Airtel - Messy Company making unsolicited calls..


                              Over the last few weeks, we are being continuously disturbed between 1-4PM everyday in the afternnon by unsolicited calls from "Airtel Digital TV". We have tried all means to sensitize this issue with the customer support teams and have failed. They keep asking us to dial some other number everytime, indicating very bad customer support. None of the persons are capable o[censored]nderstanding the issue and resolve for us. They infact told me that it is not a Airtel Issue, but a BSNL Issue - classic case foolishness. I have been using BSNL for the last 15 years and there has not been one single issue like this Airtel Digital TV Issue.

                              I have aged parents at home and this disturbance is not acceptable at all. We have no interest in having any of these sevices from Airtel..

                              I visited the kumarapark/seshadripuram airtel office to get details on who can support this - to my surprise none of them knew how to resolve this issue for me..they put me on to a IVR and also tell me some departments wont work on saturday's and sunday's.

                              Customer support for me in this case from Airtel is pathetic and sucks, 100%!

                              Is there anyone who can help me address this ?

                                Last one weeks I was received the flash message during messaging is RC 35=35 FTT in main Account! (Without any conditions apply)

                                Then today (27/02/2012) afternoon I wish to recharge my main account with RC 35 using full talk time offer then my account is credited with Rs.35. Thereafter my plan was totally changed to all network calls @ 1.5 P/Sec. Whenever I wish to call to 198 toll free number service was blocked. My call is totally not reach to our customer care officers calling 198. The uninformed changes by your side I am bothered above that.

                                  airtel chor is a big cheater, i had a balance of 14 rupees , i had activated daily internet plan ( i.e 5 rupees), the plan was activated, when i started browsing my whole balance was deducted, i made a complaint regarding this the executive told that u should browse with AP mobile office , i browsed with airtel live (which is by default) . this airtel chor are cheating people by how to earn money by confusing people. THIS IS NOT THE CASE WITH VODAFONE , IN WHICH VODAFONE LIVE IS DEFAULT, VODAFONE IS FAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRR BETTER THAN AIRTEL CHOR.

                                    My mobile number [protected] which is in Idea network is applied by me for porting to airtel on[protected], they give a sim which they say that it is TN HLR1 sim, because this number is ported back again to Airtel( before Idea it is Airtel sim), after five days I received a SMS that the porting request is accepted by donor and number will be ported on[protected], ya at that day the idea sim get deactivated and airtel sim shows network, I was asked already to dial 123 and to select language to activate the sim, when I try to do this the IVR guided me to enter your airtel prepaid number, when Input my number, it says that it is not valid airtel number, I tried several times but all in vain, I contacted the customer care for about 20 times on[protected] and 5 times on[protected], but my sim is not activated, ie I dint receive or not able to do outgoing calls, but I receive some messages, The customer care officials just say something but din't say any valid solution, I contacted the Airtel official too, all saying same thing it will be activated after selecting language and they also guided me to recharge various recharges like 33,35,70 or 48 when I called them but none of the recharges are succesful, this is not only my personal number but also official number, I missed many important calls and also I am very much frustrated because of this, I want the full details of the Customer care officials and their higher officials and also the details of showroom officials their manager and all, I want to lodge a complaint in consumer court against all of them for their careless attitude and for frustration caused by them and loss of Important calls. I din't see such a useless network before, their aim is only money and not customer satisfaction

                                    Hello,

                                    I had ported my number into Airtel about a month ago. Since then, my phone kept getting disconnected every 3-4 days. I have visited the customer service center 8 times. I have submitted documents twice. About 10 days ago I was given a replacement SIM card which has still not started working. I added funds to the SIM card but it still says I dont have enough balance to make calls.

                                    The customer service center people tell me that they have done everything from their side. I emailed [protected]@in.airtel.com, and they said it was because they have not received my forms. They asked me to contact the Nodal Officer if my problems are still not resolved.

                                    The current status is - my number is not working. It is very strange that Airtel would trouble customers who are porting IN to the service.
                                    After porting from idea to airtel, outgoing is not working on my phone galaxy note 2. Please fix this issue as early as possible. mob. number: [protected]

                                      This is regarding Mob No [protected] in name of Bharat Business Channel Ltd which we discontinued in the month of Nov’11 due to signal problems. Bills pending for the same (total amount due was 5928.44 as on[protected] was paid through cheque of Rs 119675, cheque no 622438 on[protected].

                                      Now we have applied for re activation of this Mob No in individual name of Santosh Kumar Dwivedi, CAF also has been submitted two times but the same is pending till date. We are regularly in follow up with yourself & Mr. Narendra for the same but no action has been taken till date. Even phones are not being picked up by you people ,I am feeling helpless ,if any issue is there ,at least I expect that you inform me accordingly.
