i would like to file a complaint of the removal of animax from your service..
its a really good channel in which my niece and nephew adore..
its absurd to delete this channel as i see many useless channels on all the time and its a pain!
as customers we should be given an option whether to keep or remove a channel.
maybe i think its time for airtel dth to give us that chance and reconsider the removal of animax or any other channel as such.

Totally agree. The removal of animax was unwarranted and the addition of those regional channels. I am a die hard viewer of animax and i threw my tata sky box just because airtel had animax and look what happened
I agree with you. There are so many useless channels like Enter10 and MyTV which should be removed. I don't see how they think that Animax is loosing popularity. This channel is NOT meant for kids but for teenagers and adults. I'm 18 and I love the shows. If the people are illiterate and can't read the subtitles or understand english then it's too bad. Bring back Animax asap.

Why was Animax removed in the first place. I haven't found the reason for it.

Well whatever maybe the reason please bring it back because that's the only channel i like to watch the most.
In the newspaper, it was written that animax has been removed because of its continuous loss of popularity, If you ask me, I know that many kids in my locality watch animax, Even on facebook, i have many friends that keep talking about animax, And at the end, Animax is the only channel i watch when i get bored studying. So please, put it back on airtel digital tv. I would be very thankful if you do so.

The airtel services should immediately give animax back as my frnds with digital tv are starting to buy videocon d2h and i am thinking of that to the whole neigbourhood here was of airtel but after its removal half is videocon d2h i am NOT lying.

seriously!!!what the heck is going on?????i agree with all other airtel subscribers who are disappointed with the removal of animax.Seriously its no fun watching the episodes online and i too have stopped watching tv.i watched animax not only for entertainment but also because it inspired me to draw and now its affecting my only hobby very badly.please bring back the channel asap.and for the popularity, i think you should check out the animax fan page on facebook.

Guys the bozos at airtel marketing have taken the decision and believe me you will find lot of complaints. They come from the culture who thinks anime is equivalent to cartoons. They rather have many hindi movie channels that show dubbed versions of all other language movies than to put something meaningful in their list of channels.
Anyway do send mails to airtel [protected]@airtel.in and unless they know there is a huge customer base who wants animax they are not going to do anything about it.
I specifically asked for the channel before switching from tatasky but now I am stuck with airtel for a few months. I am switching to videocon after this.

I want animax back on airtel digital TV. Airtel digital tv suddenly remove animax . Please bring animax as quickly as possible ...
Guy's, The only reason they removing Animax is because they doesn't show any ''Indian Cartoon'' like CN, Pogo and Disney channel does !
The popularity thing is just a Excuse !
I mean, Pogo is more popular then Animax !

Look at CN, It no longer show's a single Anime !
It only show Indian cartoon & Some old Show (like Tom & Jerry ) !
Pakistan CN is much better !
They want the same thing for Animax but they can't do it !

Indian cartoon's really suck- no point wasting time on 'Chhota Bheem' and the other stuff the quality of animax is unparalleled and thus the decision to remove is stupid to say the least. i would only say after the reduction in the quality of CN and Pogo this was the only channel could look forward to but guess that won't be the case any longer?

whats the point in even complaining ?! I asked dad for airtel DTH only for Animax Channel . I want Animax channel back because I love it !! since they've stopped broadcasting that channel I feel as if they've BROKEN my HEART... please start broadcasting it again because its us the customers who has the right to choose our favorite channels !! Its a HUMBLE REQUEST from us i.e. the customers that you please please please start broadcasting the Animax channel back .

Animax should be brought back. it was unnecessary to remove the channel in the first place. We being the viewers should have full freedom of chosing our own channels! And removal of Animax was violation of our rights. please bring back that channel.

I agree chota bheem and other indian cartoons are not in par with Animax. Animax is at a whole new level. I love Animax. It stimulates fantasy and inspires and kindles our hearts... Helps explore eastern ideas, thoughts and culture. Once CN was so good with nice cartoons and few anime shows but now it has been tampered with some of the repetitive indian cartoons which spoiled the CN's reputation. The Idea being inculcate the indian culture in young minds with indian cartoons like ramayan and other shows(with CN as the medium of transportation).

enough of all these nonsense...

My Request is ... Please Enable Animax in Airtel (and if possible restore CN, Disney XD to its former glory-> I mean, unaltered by local shows)

    I have been using Airtel DTH since July of last year.I recently moved from Mahalingapuram to Sholinganallur and Airtel came and disconnected the service at the old place.After moving to the new place with the dish and settop box I raised a reinstallation request.There is a mandate at my new apartment that none of the wires should be hanging outside and all the wiring has to be concealed.There is provision for having one DTH connection alone so tatasky came and installed it promptly and we are using that connection for our TV in main room.Airtel engineer came to my premises and tried doing the reinstallation in my bedroom but since he mentioned that it is not possible for him to conceal the wiring I decided to cancel my connection and return the dish and settop box.I have been trying to explain this to your customer care executives in the 1800 number provided and they don't seem to understand my request.It is really strange that your customer care executives start talking in hindi first without even understanding which part of India the customer is calling from. Anyway I was finally able to talk to a lady yesterday(March 5) who spoke in english and I explained that I want to disconnect the service.She raised the request for the same and the number is 16727294.But as expected no one has responded to this request as yet.I requested the lady to put my account status on hold until the request is attended so that my account balance does not reduce due to the daily burn rate.But I see that airtel promptly reduces the amount from my account balance in spite of me not using the connection.Also I believe I'am eligible for a refund for the dish and settop box as the reason I'am not able to install airtel at my new home is because of the concealed wiring.I hope someone would address this issue and disconnect the service asap and give me the refund i'am eligible for.

    AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — connection of dish disconnected.

    at evening of 30th April, 2010 suddenly picture of my TV disappeared. I checked all channel but no picture appeared. My ID No is [protected]. The setup box is unable to receive signal. Kindly look into the matter.

    Thanks for the response.I have not got any response from Airtel as yet on this issue.The available balance on my account is now Zero Rs and it is really unfair that all the while the amount was being deducted even though I was not using the connection.I should atleast be refunded the balance which was available on my account as of Last Friday(March 2) along with whatever I'am eligible for after returning my settop box and dish.

    The services have been disconnected due to zero balance on my account .While airtel is prompt in doing this the request for cancelling the service which I raised 10 days ago has not been attended.Hope you look into this. Issue seriously and provide me with the refund ASAP.The settop box and dish are with me and you can send someone to collect the same anytime and process the refund.

    FYI I keep getting calls from different airtel numbers but it gets disconnected the moment I try to answer it.

    My complaint has still not been attended to after two weeks of waiting.The services were disconnected due to zero balance in my account but I had submitted the request for canceling the service even before that.Iam tired of talking to your customer service executives as they don't seem to understand anything and keep repeating the same thing over and over again.Iam cursing myself for choosing airtel as my DTH provider as I have only had bad experiences since I purchased it

      Greetings.

      Past one week my Blackberry Internet Service is unavailable and AIRTEL seems to be out of Answer to my questions. Each time i call them they reply by asking me some questions which has answers i know past 10 years. Sometimes they ask me if i am able to see EDGE in Small or Caps bla bla.

      When i am saying BIS is unavailable past one week then obviously EDGE will be in Small letters only. Now in the end they blame Blackberry by saying CDMA Handhelds with GSM Support has some issues from RIM itself which also is a wrong. I have also mailed RIM for the same.

      I am not at all satisfied with their Service this time. They seem to have this WHO CARE attitude towards their customers.

      Can Airtel answer me or return my 400 Rupees which promptly they deduct each moth for BIS Plan ? I am planning to move on to Vodafone along with my Friends...

        Airtel Prepaid — Automatic Balance Deduction

        I am having a prepaid airtel connection [protected] in Mumbai region.

        Many times some unwanted services (VAS) are automatically
        getting started on my mobile. My prepaid balance is constantly being deducted
        for such unwanted services which I never want. Many times I called on customer
        care & requested to STOP these services but after few days/weeks again some
        other/new services automatically start & deduct the balance.

        Can you please necessary steps to STOP such undue balance deduction against Airtel?

          Hi,

          I have recently taken the corporate airtel postpaid connection, my connection was activated on 25-feb-2012. My plan had the 200 mb free data usage. However yesterday[protected] , I was shocked to see my unbilled amount rs. 8417.[protected] and I got a message that your airtel mobile usage of rs. 5758 exceeds the credit limit of rs. 1000, pay rs. 5500 within 6 hours to continue the service. My services are now stopped. I called the customer service several times and none of them is able to explain me why I am charged so much. I have also previously used the internet data packages of 1gb at rs 98 and even in a month I was not able to finish the total usage of 1 gb. I am also 100% sure that I have not used so much of the data I.E within a span of 5days I cannot finish 200mb o[censored]sage. After talking with many customer care executives (5-6) and after mailing to them I got to know that GPRS is calculated on prorated basis. This was not earlier informed to me by any chance. I enquired the representative who sold me this card and who sits in my office about it and he is also not aware of it.

          The other question is when my credit limit is rs 1000 why my services not stopped or I was informed when I crossed my limits. Please help me, this is all is really shocking and increasing lot of stress. I am not in position to pay any of such huge amounts.

          Further my services (outgoing) are stopped (on[protected] even though my unbilled amount is increasing Rs[protected].

          Airtel — High unbilled amout for unused service

          Dear Sir,

          I got the Airtel usb internet connection (999 unlimited plan) on 18th september and the sim got activated after 4 days. Since then i've been using this service continuously, after few days i've been receiving messages from 54321 and all of them says that i've been charged with some amounts for downloading games, wallpaper, animation, music,etc from AIRTEL LIVE WAP sites. Why in the world would i go through this wap sites to dowload stuff !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i got unlimited download plan with fairly good speed connection and i can donwload as much as i want through my connection. I've never made calls but i've sent an sms just once. I dialed 121 and it says my "current unbilled amount is Rs 63 till 29th Sept" and then i found it to be Rs 642 the next day.I'm totally speechless

          It would be very kind of you if you could rectify this disaster.

            Sir/Madam,

            I Mohammad Ekhalak Akram, S/O Iftakhar Husain, have been using a number [protected] since last eight months under Airtel service as a prepaid customer. I had come to Airtel service from Vodafone service after doing Mobile Number Portability. I had submitted my valid document that is a photocopy of my voter ID card (ID No. BR/17/093/207431), to Airtel office at the time of Number Portability.My number was closed for 48 hours in the month of December 2011. After that on demand from Airtel i once again submitted my same document to the Airtel office, then they restarted the service. On 2nd of March 2012, I lost my SIM card of this number([protected]).The number was closed by customer care service after my request. When i contacted to Airtel office for doing reissue of the same number ([protected]) to me. They are denying to reissue the same number to me because they are claiming that Airtel has no document on this number.

            Sir/Madam, My first complain is that How could my number was Ported to Airtel without my document?
            My Second complain is that How could Airtel has been giving me service till 2nd of March 2012 without my document?
            My third complain is that Where is my document either Airtel is misusing it or has lost it?

            I want justice in earliest possible time.

              I have done activate of 3G plan for 3month 500MB free ..after my plan is get deactivated i have called customer care and they informed me that the plan is still active and after the end of the Month they will deacitavte other wise complete GPRS usage will be charged as per 10p/kb ,i have waited for some days and i got finally bill which showns complte GPRS usage has beeen charged 10p/KB, which is too much

              customer care is not sending any messages on the activation and deactivation of the plans and they are either informing the things when i am calling them after bill get generated they are telling me to pay this much amount

                Airtel — non responding proper feed back

                Hi all
                My friend purchased an airtel prepaid card on 25th of April he submitted all my documents in Airtel office which is opposite to Abirami mega mall purasiwalkam chennai.

                After there days his outgoing was disconnected, We called Airtel customer care and they said that my card is been deactivated since they didn't received my address proof which we submitted in the Airtel office. So he asked the agent whether he should submit his address proof again she asked him to wait for 72 hours so that the issue will be fixed.

                Then on Friday the 8th of may we called back the customer care to check the status and they said that they didn't received the address proof yet. So we went to the Airtel office where we submitted the address proof and they said that they have processed it and they even provided the LC number which is 99. So we called Airtel back and gave them the LC number but the only answer we received from the customer care is it will take 72 hours.

                Then he received a mess form the Airtel stating the number is been activated but still he was not able to do outgoing since the number was not activated. So once again we called customer care and this time we didn't received a proper response form them they where keen in disconnecting the call.

                So we asked them to connect the call to supervisor and they connected to Frankylen and he promised that he will call us back with he solution by 12 pm on 12/5/2009 but we didn't received any call. We called back and they provided Nodal office number to give a complaint but that number is always busy.

                We called back the customer care and now they are not responding properly and we have wasted more then 15 days to fix the issue but still the issue is not fixed.

                Let us wait and see who in Airtel is going to take responsibility to fix the issue.

                Bharti Airtel — Unresolved Network Issue & pathetic Customer Care service

                Dear Sir/Madam,

                I Mr. Lalit Hingorani have been customer of Bharti Airtel Cellular service for around 5 yrs now & all my family members have been users of your cellular service. But the treatment that I am getting these days from your customer care executive & the time they are taking to resolve complaints are pathetic. I have been facing netwrok issues at my residence and my office. despite regular complaints I havent seen any action taken for my complaints. I have informed the executive who calls for airtel servoce feedback about the same issue yet I havent seen any response. My work place is at Powai Hiranandani & even though my phone show full network when people try to call me they get the message that my number is out of n/w area. I stay put at mulund(W), near Nirmal lifestyle and I have n/w issues even here.If i move from 1 room to another while on call my calls drop. Despite giving the complaints n mumber of times no one has bothered to look into it. On top of that when I called up your customer care, the executive said he cant take my complaint as the systems are down. The executive and the shift officer ill treated me. When I raised my voice for not having the issue resolved, the shift officer says that he will put a note of bad conduct against my account. 1st of all when I asked for him the shiftofficer was not on his flor during his shift hours and on top of that he tried to put a blame on me. Also he said that if you raise your voice your complaints will never get resolved. Is this the kind of service you provide to your cutomers. Your customer care executives are not even bothered of loosing a customer. They are ok if you tell them that you would disconnect the service.I have been trying to contact the nodal office n number of times but either she is busy on another call or her number is busy. The nodal officer doesnt even have the courtsey to give a call after seeing n mo. of miss calls from the same number. It would be great if some actions will be taken against n/w improvement immediately and also provide lessons to ur
                customer care executive's and shift managers on how to treat customer.

                Airtel — Unresolved complaints

                I have a landline[protected] for over 4 years. This phone had the IDD and STD facility.

                I have been away for 8 months and on my return I find that I am unable to make any IDD or STD calls.

                I lodged a complaint with Airtel and am told that I do not have the said facilitites in my phone and that the same would be activated in 4 hours.

                Even after 7 days, the problem persists and each call to Airtel I am given a new complaint number. On follow up with Airtel yesterday,I was told that though I had made a request the same has not been activated. This would take 4 hours. This morning, I am still unable to make calls and I am told that the STD facility has been activated on the 9th of Dec and there is no IDD facility on the phone.

                Inspite of Airtel's confirmation that the STD facility has been activated I am unable to make STD calls as I am unable to dial beyond 124 to activate my STD lock.

                Apparently, Airtel does not maintain a history of the details available for a given number and the log of complaints. Each time I am given a new complaint number.

                Airtel — Reimbursement of Subscriber Enrollment charges

                I applied for the Broad band airtel connection in the december 25 2009 and paid Rs.500/- to the sales executive who collected the money and requirement document for new connection. after 5 days the technical team revert back to me that it is not feasible to provide a connection at home. then i asked how should i get the refund of the amount paid. Airtel customer care replied that the amount will be refunded back to me with in 15 days from the date of cancellation. Until now i did not receive any amount by way of cheque and i am continuous calling the airtel people from past one week and response is poor.

                It was escalated to the escalating team of Airtel and still there is no solution. I am totally vexed with the response of airtel.
                Hi sir,I have been using Airtel for the past 11 months. I am very unsatisfied with the customer service.I am facing a problem and when i contact the customer support regarding that problem they says me that will be resolved in 4 days and even after 4 days the problem continues and when i try to call them i couldn't evn make a call to the customer service. They have disabled that service on my phone.If i wanna talk to them regarding my problem i have to call them from my cousins or my colleague's phone.Will you please look in to this issue. I was being harassed by their service and by their behavior on phone,they abruptly disconnects my cal when i ask about my problem .My number is [protected].Hope some one will help me through this issue
                I am trying to get my Airtel 3G services re-activated after paying my Bill amount of Rs 4494 for the month of May - June 2012, but the services are not activated still. When called [protected] the following happened:

                1. First Customer care officer said you have paid in credit card so the status is in Pending and will be active within 4 hrs. - I said ok and cut the call.
                2. Second officer said me to call 12134 - he said i can call this number from any mobile or Land line. - I tried and nothing happened.
                3. Third officer said remove the sim and reinsert - I tried Nothing happened
                4. Fourth officer said call [protected] or [protected] - I called [protected] and i was redirected to [protected].
                5. I called [protected] and here they redirected me to the first number [protected].

                Airtel 3G is pathetic pathetic pathetic pathetic pathetic. Frustrated to the core....
                I am working for MNC, submitted all relevant documents to have my airtel prepaid sim connection get converted to airtel postpaid CUG connection. It's been a month but still the request is not processed properly. When I contacted them, they told me that they are having some issues while processing. Also they updated me that they never took this kind of request because of this system issue. Rather than fixing this system issue, they are updating that Number portability or new connections works properly. It has been escalated to their manager still no luck. Now they are not even responding to my calls or messages. Can this issue be addressed please ?
                I repeatedly have issues with Airtel Broadband and a while back in getting a new sim card.

                About Broadband - I was given an assurance that the issue with my broadband will be fixed over and over but until yesterday there has been continuous disconnection happening (Intermittent connection) right from the day 1 and for a few days there was no internet at all. Finally, it all seems to be working for a day but I can't give a confirmation on the fix however I asked them not to charge me for the days when no internet connection was available.

                First 5 days after getting the internet connection there was an outage and they are ready to revert back only those charges but not ready to revert back the charges for days I haven't been able to use the service.


                Existing SIM card # since 2008 - [protected]

                About New SIM Connection - About 6 months back, I had applied for a new SIM connection and the number was [protected]. I work in DLF. I provided all the proofs that were required. Onsite tech visited my house address twice and completed the house verification however he could not complete the verification of my office address.

                I made several phone calls to Airtel and specifically told them that without an original Govt. ID proof nobody will be allowed inside of DLF.
                The tech from Airtel visited DLF and returned without even calling me as he was not allowed inside without Govt. ID proof.
                I called Airtel again and spoke to a few supervisors and requested them to have the Onsite tech to call me when he his at the DLF gate so I can take him inside as a visitor to complete my verification. Which again Airtel failed to do.
                I was pretty frustrated by them and complained to the same supervisor about it but all he had to tell me was "AIRTEL ONSITE TECH WILL COME ONLY WITH HIS AIRTEL ID CARD AND IF HE IS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE, THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING". I then had nothing to say and I asked him how does the process go for those who work in DLF in getting a new sim connection. He replies, "The guy from Airtel for that area takes care of it and he does not have that person's phone number".

                I sent several emails to Airtel regarding this but never got proper response.

                the Airtel ID card and not any other govt ID proof which is mandate to get
                inside of DLF.

                  Hi,

                  I bought Airtel Digital TV (HD) about 10 months back and have been regularly recharging on time. We went out of station between Jan 10th and Feb 10th. When we came back we found that the Digital TV was not working. When we went to the apartment terrace to check the Dish Antenna we were surprised to see that the Antenna Receiver was missing. It was professionally being removed, I guess by an Airtel technician. When we called Airtel customer care (which has very poor service), they said that customer id number doesn't belong to me, and also the registered mobile number was recently changed to some other number. We were surprised to hear this and when asked why it was changed they had no answer. They transferred the call twice but none of the representative was able to provide clear answer. In fact they said that we need to pay Rs. 260 to replace the Antenna receiver. Why should I pay this amount ? The customer representative said that he will inform this to senior manager and someone will call us within 48 hours. Now its more than 2 weeks and nobody from Airtel has bothered to call us. We are unable to watch anything on our LED from past few weeks.

                  I would request to take action against Airtel's unprofessional act and poor customer service. I want this issue to be resolved as soon as possible with no charge.

                  Dish TV — disconnection of the antenna

                  The antenna was shifted from its destined position which resulted in a loss of connection.
                  Do send some one to fix the problem !!!
                  Foe alignment you need to contact dishtv customer care either by mail or through call.

                  my airtell mobile (number [protected])outgoing called were barred(disconnected) from last one week. when asked for reason it was been told that we have not submitted the id prof. but the fact is that from last 3 years we have submited the id xerox. and 1 month back we had asked for it again and we submitted again without any problem. even after submiting the prof my outgoings are been disconnected. i've given again the ID prof two days back still the problem is not been rectifies. when i call the dealer and his manager MR HEERAPPA from HUBLI he replies it'll be done. we have been useing this number from last 8 years.

                    My name is Bijo Samuel and i am using this Air-tel from a long period my phone number is [protected], Today i received your service message that RC with 155 with full talk time, so i did it, but when i checked the balance it was not there, so i talked to the retailer about this problem and they called 12144 to confirm this. This retailer is running a medical shop at that time they were very busy and asked to talk to the lady of the above mentioned number, while i was talking she told me to stop the loudspeaker of the phone, I told this lady that the loudspeaker was off and i was talking through the handset. but she did not believe me and she insulted me very badly. I went to your Pattom branch in Trivandrum to complaint against this matter. I have a request that please don't allow your staff to behave like this to your customers. I like your services very much please don't repeat this with others.

                      I Have given a complaint with regard to generation of bill even after disconnection of Broadband service on 18/02/2012 to the nodal officer through mail and I got a reply that my complaint would be processed by 22/02/2012 but I am yet to get any response with regard to my complaint. Today I got another bill for the month of February. I have disconnected my Broadband service on 22/12/2011, yet I have received bills for the month of January and February, 2012. Please resolve the issue and cancel the bills for the month of January and February for which I have not availed Broadband service.

                      Facts :

                      I have been using Airtel Broadband service for over 2 years in vellore, Due to further studies in Chennai I requested disconnection of my Broadband service on 22nd December 2011 and I gave a letter to the Airtel customer outlet at vellore regarding the same. I informed the lady at the customer service desk to cancel my BB connection immediately, since my bill date is 27th of every month. Then on 24th December I submitted the Airtel Phone Instrument and BB Modem and got an acknowledgement regarding the same in a letter.

                      I paid my December BB bill in January. In February I received yet another bill for the BB Service. I went to the customer care centre and asked them about it. I related the situation to the lady, for a brief moment she panicked and then told me that the cancellation has been done only on 9th January. I showed her the acknowledgement copy of submission of Modem and to that she replied that it takes 10 days for cancellation.

                      I cannot understand why it takes 10 days for cancellation of Service, Where the data could be processed immediately. I asked the lady to let me talk to the seniors. She led me to a person who is about 25 year old. I then related the situation to that person. The person pointed me to be seated and then for about 10 minutes he kept me awaited over his personal matters. He told me that I have to pay at-least Rs. 110 for the cancellation has been made only on 9th January, 2012. I told him I am not responsible for his and the lady's sluggishness and hence I will not pay the bill. He told me "You have to pay the bill, there is no other way".

                      AIRTEL BROADBAND SERVICE — billed after disconnection of service

                      I have surrendered the SIM immediately within the 24 hrs of the issue of the SIM because they couldn’t provide me the USB device for broadband. I was keen on taking the Airtel broadband service, but because of the above reason I dropped myself.

                      AIRTEL BROADBAND SERVICE — Disconnection of the broadband service

                      I am using the airtel broadband service and vacating the house. So I called the cancellation department of airtel to cancel the connection as aI will moving out of my current residence. I called the cancellation department several times and the maximum they would do is give me reference number after refernce numbers. I have been following up with them since november and till date my connection is active. When I last called them up, they told me that my coonection had been deactived since 3rd december but when I called them again after few days to verify, I got to know that they have again activated my connection. I dont want to pay for something which I am not using. I called them again but they spoke to me very rudely and said that they dont know why my services were resumed. They also assured me that they will act on my complaint promptly but till now there has been no resolution. The last complaint number that I got is:

                      Airtel — Broadband service - No response even after 10 days

                      I needed Internet Connection at my place on urgent basis so as to handle my international clients from home. I requested AIRTEL executive to visit me to collect money and documents from me so that I can get AIRTEL Broadband service at home situated at Krishna Apra Garden, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad.
                      The AIRTEL executive confirmed that I'll get the internet activiated within two days of application.
                      I applied on 19th of October and he (excecutive) mentioned on my Application 'installation date' as 21-oct-2010.
                      For the same, he collected INR 500 cheque from me. Same was realized from Bank and money was transfered to AIRTEL account on 23rd Oct'2010.
                      But till now, I haven't received any installation of Internet at my home. My international clients called me careless for not responding them on time. AIRTEL has caused my bad reputation among my clients.

                      Please help to make sure that AIRTEL should return my installation fee along with damages caused to my reputation.

                      Airtel Broadband — Delivering faulty modem - twice and pathetic service response

                      As a last attempt to get some decent service from Airtel I am writing to you.

                      I have been an airtel customer for about 11 years now and it would be sad to move away from you.
                      I have a mobile connection with you, a landline , an IPTV and a broadband with airtel as part of their triple offer. Since i bought that I am faced with such poor service quality on the braodband and IPTV that i am compelled to write here.

                      I had raised a compliant on 9th Jan 2011 for my modem not working I was given a time of some 8 hours by which the service would get fixed. Which means no broadband and IPTV for a day. A technician came on 10th Jan 2011 and gave me a modem with in built wireless which worked for an hour and then the wireless part failed. I reopened the compliant on 10th Jan nite and yet again the technician came next day and put in some bogus modem which worked for a few hours and then would not power on at all. Its power button had to be taped up to make it work. I have again registered a complaint and am by now totally frustrated. I received a call back from airtel who said they would look into the issue but i see no action post that. I need to work odd hours as I am in Info Technology field and this is seriously making me miss my work and productivity.

                      I would sincerely request you to look into the matter.

                      Airtel — Airtel broadband services billed after disconnection

                      I was the customer for Airtel landline number [protected]. i had a tariff month 499+ taxes past more than a year they changes tariff plan with out my notice 599+ tax. I spoke to customer services and they never gave response to me then i asked to disconnect services. they said for re-location charges free of cost and they agreed to shift network to new mentioned address. after few week they came up with there is no network in the new address. on 23 April i asked to disconnect services. then also they generated bill on my name.

                        Nice lines, but do you ever followed them?

                        I have lots of complaints for you, but you don’t have proper customer support to hear them. Finally one of your branch-level managers suggests me to go for portability. It’s really funny, isn’t it?

                        I am suffering from many things provided by “a friend called airtel”.

                        I was having a plan which offers me 1paise/sec calling. But suddenly from June2011 you started charging me 1.2paise/sec after asking for reason you replied, “Sorry sir, but you recharged with a voucher Rs45 which makes your call for 1.2paise/sec, it’ll be for one month..! Do you need any more help…? Thank you for calling airtel… Have a nice day.. ”

                        But you charged me for six months and more with the same charges.

                        I was used to it. Then you started debiting Rs1/sms instead of 50paise/sms. This time I decided to go for mobile sim portability. I ask for it.

                        Suddenly your department woke up, saying, “Hey our friend is living us, stop him, convince him..!”

                        Then your retention department made a call to me, asking the reason. I explained him everything above mentioned.
                        He said, “Dear friend of airtel, I am offering a special plan to you. The plan is for six months. You’’ll be charged as airtel-to-airtel 1paise/6sec and airtel-to-other in India 1paise/2sec and any landline call 1paise/sec, Rs1/sms…..This is free to you for 1 month, from next month you’ll be charged rs1/day as a charge for service for 5 months…”

                        I said, “OK, give one more chance to my stupid friend”

                        The day you called was 16th Jan 2012. You promised that it’ll be start within 72 hours.

                        Again I made a call to ask you on 26th Jan. You replied, “Dear (Stupid) FRIEND, the service is already activated from 19th Jan”
                        I said, “I am not getting any benefits of the call rates you mentioned”

                        You promised to reply in 2 days, but this time too, “Tie tie fish”
                        I said to myself, “POPAT”…..

                        Then on 19th Feb. You started charging me Rs1/day for service you promised me.
                        I made a call, you said nothing.

                        I report to nearest branch of Sinhgad road, Pune-Maharashtra on Feb 22, 2012. He is promising me to resolve my problem since then.
                        On 27th Feb, the manager (Mrs. Smita Madale, [protected]) over the Sinhgad Road branch, I talked with her too, explaining my issue. She again promised to call me back in 30 minutes, again same story, and no reply.

                        One of the next afternoon, one of the customer care executive (Mr. Mayank, [protected]) over there called me and said, “Dear (Stupid) sir, your service will be freshly started within 48 hours. That is from 1st March your six month service will start”

                        I was very much happy; you can’t imagine I updated my facebook status too... 

                        And yesterday I made a call to the branch-office again, he replied me as, “Dear (stupid) friend, I suggest you to wait for Monday, March 5, 2012, if are not notify please go for portability”

                        I am still laughing at these responses from a friend.

                        I am using airtel from past six years, but last six months are “ohhhhh”. I don’t want to explain them to anyone more.

I called customer care they stopped the service on 4 th and assured that my money would be given back in four hours but i havent recieved my money still ...                             Hello Airtel Customersupport,

                            I have Airtel number [protected] for several years and since last week it is suddenly showing as "Inactive SIM".

                            I had international roaming enabled on this number as I am currently in Kenya.

                            I tried to topup credit on my number, hoping that this is related to zero credit but unfortunately the Airtel recharge page gives me an error that my number [protected] is not a valid prepaid number.

                            Please help ASAP.

                              Sir i have applied BB Connection before two months and i asked to change my plan from home UN limited plus (750 per month) to home 125 but they said minimum 3 months plan should be used i also accepted and used BB in unlimited plan but they changed the plan to 125 with out prior intimation and my 2nd month bill comes above 2000rs now i unable to pay the amout i request you to change my plan same ul plan and send the bill i hope your helping to me reply as soon as possible TEL NO :[protected]

                              I had registered a request for change of my plan from Rs.1399 to Rs.799 plan five days ago and they had said that the plan will be changed within 3 days and gave me a complaint no.10469681 but they had not changed the plan yet and 7 days has passed.. i called them again and they registered another complaint 33458750 but i dont think they ll change the plan..                                 Sir on 3.3.2012, 99rs was deducted from my account from mobile no [protected]. When i called customer care they told me that i had activated hungama wap content which actually i havent activated. They told me that i had activated hungama wap content by browsin Airtel Live which i havent opened and they also told me that the money will not be refunded to my account and they are forcing me to accept that i had activated the service. I got a message that 'Thanks for using Pack Purchase subscription service from Airtel. You have been charged Rs 99." So it is my humble request you to sort out my problem. Thank You

                                I do not understand what is this service and why the company deducated Rs 99 from my mobile account for such a service( Pack Purchase subscription Service ) which I never demanded

                                So your goodself is requested that the above amount should be credited in my mobile account ([protected]). Please do the needful in this regards.

                                  Airtel charged me incorrectly for 6 months rental for 3G in Aug 2011. I filed a complaint and asked for refunds. For this Airtel mentioned that we will provide the refund in the form of Cheque but this cheque never reached me. This cheque was also not encashed by whoever the receiver was so AIRTEL did not loose any money. Now, I have raised lots of complaint and called 100s of times to Airtel, talked to escalation manager, floor manager, Nodal officers etc but no resolution yet. Following are some of the Service request numbers: 39402640, 41540077, 41578525, 41710832. Following is the interaction ID with Nodal officer (Mr Vinay):[protected] which has the latest context. Please note that I have informed in clear terms that I will not make any payments to AIRTEL till this issue is resolved and it has been 5 months now since AIRTEL is working on this issue. I was also not expecting any kind of disturbances in mobile services as this is a corporate connection and I as the customer is not at fault here. Rather I am the one who is doing all the follow ups which is really disappointing.

                                  Despite the above clarification Airtel has barred my outgoing calls and 3G services. Airtel presence team from Delhi is also involved but I am not sure why they are not able to resolve it. The issue has simple solutions:
                                  1. Cancel the old cheque and issue a new one. Provide me the tracking ID of courier by which the cheque is being sent.
                                  2. Simpler solution is: Directly adjust this amount (Rs 2063/-) in current outstanding amount and I can make the remaining payment.

                                  The irresponsible behavior from Airtel is really disappointing on this long pending complaint and I am not sure why Airtel presence team is also acting like deaf n dumbs. Anyone knows what else I as a customer can do? What is the next level of escalation?

                                  To add to above comments: I am not going to settle down with 2063.00 as I was tortured by Airtel for 4 months. I was the one who had to do all the follow ups with Airtel presence team and those follow ups were not on toll free numbers. So, unless there is a sufficient compensation in addition to the amount due from Airtel to me, I cannot consider this issue as resolved.

                                    I was using the airtel number more than 8 years, how come you people blocked and deleted my number without informing or sending text. When I went to your customer service they said it was informed to me by call and text, and later it was deleted from our system. Airtel Lairs
                                    IF you want the same number again than you should go for billing (postpaid) what’s the cache!!!

                                    Lairs, no body tried to inform me neither by phone conversation nor text message, what was your intention to block my simcard number; I had a balance of 58 rupees, how come you people deleted my number from your system. This is under the Airtel Law!! Show me you’re Law Terms and Conditions, Public Service or Personal Service. Im really pissed off from your Damn Things you’re really doing with loyal customers, or you need me to sue on you?

                                    i have got the Airtel mobile number[protected] . i am getting the sms every day that your subscription has been renewed for games and rs 5 are deducted from your account . While I have not subscribed that package ever. pls pls delete my name from that service . i dont want to avail that facility in near by future . pls thanks.

                                    Airtel — my no. deleted before 90 days

                                    i am customer of airtel since 5 yrs , i removed sim card on 21/may/2011 and put it againn today and i found that the signal was not coming , i contacted C S , they told me that ur no. has been deleted becoz i didnt use it , they said that if i dont use iwithin 90 days , then ur no automatically gets deleted but today is 5/aug/2011 , its been not even 90 days and they have deleted my no , which is unfair , coz i am their customer since 5 yrs and they should appreciate that , when i last time recharged it , its validity was till june 2013 , still they deleted my no , i want my no back , any how else i am gonna hit cosumer court.

                                    I had been out of INDIA for 80 days, and I was not aware of the rule that in 3 months the number will be deleted.

                                    I have been using my number for the past 6 to 7 years.

                                    I had called the airtel customer care number before completion of 90 days, and they had told me that the number has been deleted and it cannot be got back.

                                    Today I went to airtel office near my house and they are saying that the number could have been activated if i had come before 90 days.

                                    I got wrong communication from the airtel customer care , and they have not logged when I had called them and the conversation between us.

                                    I dont know whether airtel can do something like this to a customer who has been using their service for so many years.

                                    This problem was due to wrong communication from the customer care agent.

                                    The agent in the office spoke very rude as well.

                                    Please help me in this regard.

                                      I am Vijay Praveen Kumar & i have the airtel sim with number - [protected], which is andhra pradesh number & is currently under roaming in karnataka & on 1/3/2012 morning i got an sms from airtel stating that as this number is not being used since 3 months i need to start using to avoid disconnecton of the same. with immediate effect i have started using the number & made calls as well. when i received another same sms on 2/3/2012, I have checked on the customer care number - [protected] on 2/3/2012 with Mr. venkatesh & Mr.Naveen as well if my numbers ok to use & was reassured that as i started using it & could see 4 calls been made recent, the sim is active & they asked me to ignore the sms received as well.



                                      But i was shocked to notice that the sim is inactive this morning & when called the [protected] number i was told after 16 minutes of call by Mr.Subramanyam that the sim is recycled & passed on to his supervisor Mr.mani, who very ubruptly stated that he is from cisco & got nothing to do with the previous associates reassurances on my sim being active & my number is recycled now.



                                      I would like to bring to your kind notice that this number has been updated as the only contact number a week back in my resumes & is the only way of contact with many companies for me now & even all my bank accounts & other services have been linked to this number & hence keep getting all sms's to this number itself & hence request you to reinstate the number for me as early as possible.



                                      Hope to get the positive result as early as possible from your end.

                                        We are giving regular complaints to Airtel, regarding signal problems at our home, but till date no action has been taken, several engineers have visited the site and found the problem, but no action has been taken till date, please do the needful.
