I have purchased an airtel prepaid data card from airtel office in madinaguda,hyderbad in feb 2012 and when i tried to browse internet
it gets disconnected every 2 minutes and when i go and complain in the same airtel office they tell try in a different laptop, when i tried in a different
laptop but it is still the same they tell that it might be signal problem and when i told them that i get good signal for my mobile at my place they asked me to give a try and come back and in case if the problem persists they promised that they will change the sim as it is sim problem. Today when i went to thier office and told them that I still face the same problem they totally tell a different reason and say that the airtel data cards have known chip problem and after purchasing the data card the chip has to be changed and they have only one service center where this chip can be changed and that is in khairatabad.When I questioned the person why this was not told to me when i bought the data card the person who sat in the counter told me if it is me i would have told you. Is the way they treat a customer ? I had to leave my data card and sim there as it is of no use to me. I paid Rs 1800/- for the data card and Rs 675/- for the sim card and after paying so much of money I had to leave it there with even using it ?
If they clearly know that they have a problem with the chip in their data cards why can't they rectify the problem before
selling the data card to the customer, or else they should stop selling the product itself when they know that it is a failure ?
Why should they cheat the customer. It is waste of my time since i had visted their office 3 times to get it rectified and finally had to
leave my datacard and sim with disappointment . I wasted my money and time by buying airtel data card. I am writing this complaint , so that atleast people like me will not be cheated in near future.

It is shame on the part of a company like airtel cheating it's customers like this.

    I am using airtel for last six years. Airtel gave lot of surprises. They also did frequent customer satisfaction surveys. But these days they are robbing my money. they frequently changing the rate cutter plans without informing. I paid around two hundred and forty rupees. now my other mobile cost is 60 paise and airtel cost is 10 paise. actual thing is without ratecutter my mobile cost for other mobile is 50 paise.

    Airtel please dont be evil
    They are doing more than that. They set you a service, no intimation sent, no information that money is being deducted, and they quietly take the money.
    Once caught they only refund the money for the last 3 months as they have the records for that period. For any wrong deductions before ...its not their headache.

    Just wanted to check if there are others out there who have experienced the same AIRTEL LOGIC
    I posted my complaint in airtel presence. Your request has been acknowledged. Your reference no. is PR[protected].

    aircel is providing 80 rs rate cutter for 6 months.
    with that you can make calls aircel to aircel for 10 paise and other mobiles for 30 paise. this is just an example.

      I am using airtel no. since 4 years until last few months.
      I faced lots of network problems and due to my hectic schedule and some uncertain personal problems, i never got time to keep on complaining,tracking and being in waiting queue.
      Later I was recently surprised with a monthly bill amt of 4k and with total of 7500 of last 2-3 months which i intentionally didn't paid until and unless I could have got the reasonable waiver after cross checking.
      However my no. was barred from outgoing and incoming service but i still kept my sim on though I had my other reliance no. working.

      However to my very big surprise, on Sunday(Holiday) dated February 26,2012,my friends, relatives,paternal uncles calls me up and says they are getting calls from so called Airtel agents Pankaj Shashtri and a lady complaining, abusing and insulting me about my bills and asking me about my whereabouts.
      I was totally depressed and furious to see such unethical irresponsible behaviour and such a disgusting unprofessional attitude of recovering.

      Later on same day, the lady also called up my elder sister and asking her to pay the bill.
      My sister was being insulted at personal level, later my brother-in-law when took over the call, she insulted him as well and ask their address so that they can get them in trouble if they or me doesn't pay the amount they ask.
      My sister has nothing to do with my mobile no. and bills. Why they called her, my cousins and friends?
      I totally lost my social respect with just
      My loving parents were nomore since 2 years due to unfortunate heart attack.
      These people weren't even scared to go analyse my personal life,my personal connections,insulting my social respect.
      It was beyond patience when the lady even insulted my sister's emotions arrogantly saying as if 'we have lost our parents, this is why we don't have culture and roaming like frauds and cant afford bills"
      Look who's talking about culture and manners?
      The guy, today Feb 27, kept on calling me, and simply laughs when i shout back.
      When I warned about my police complaint, he is not bothered for it, seems like Airtel and these agents have LAWS in their pocket.
      I do agree, bills are pending but I had bills regularly since 4 years.But is this the way to recover ?

      Now, I want to sue these and worst company Airtel and show them what they deserve to mentally,socially and personally harass me?
      My sister will submit complaint to Airtel office for such personal,unauthorized,unreasonable and threatening call to her and thereby I am going to take legal steps ahead starting from this Consumer Complaint forum.

      I have the callers's name, no and their few call recordings.
      If anybody authorized from Consumer complaints or legal panels will get back to me for proceedings, I would like to get in touch asap.

      Airtel — Excess bill and unethical and irresponsible behaviour

      I have a long outstanding issue regarding excess bill and its subsequent activities sponsored by airtel. Though i had contacted several person from airtel regarding this no one is sincere enough to resolve the same. I had already pasted my complete issue in another thread. I am writing it again hoping someone might be able to resolve the same. please contact me on [protected] if you feel you can resolve this issue.

        Dear Sirs,
        My wife Geetu Bhambhani has been using Airtel services since last 10 years, and she took 2 add on cards one for myself having number [protected] and other for my daughter Nikita having number [protected].
        Nikita is a student, there were outstanding payments on her account for Rs 10505 as finally claimed by Airtel for last 3 billings of 3 months. Her credit limit was Rs.3000/-
        As nikita must have been in shock for such amount of billings, and because of fright she did not disclose this to us.
        Finally my wife geetu, my self, started getting calls using abusive language, threatening. My parents, Nikita’s friends and our relatives started getting calls, telling them to give message to nikita that she should pay the amount, or telling them that nikita has given your number to collect payment.
        First of all from where did they get details of nikita’s friends and our relatives? why did Airtel divulge details of nikitas contacts to their collection agency? why were the agency authorized to use the contact details? This is totally breach of our privacy. Were the agencies authorized to use foul, abusive language and threatening? What is the guarantee that the details will not be used and misused by their agencies.
        We complained to Airtel Customercare and their Nodal Officer, but in vain, though we received replies but they were not to the context of the complaint but vague and we were shunted from one email Id to another.
        No one in Airtel is bothered to address the mail.
        After trying all the sources we were finally invited by the assistant manager service experience mr. manish umrao, at the Airtel office at Malad to settle the case. After hearing our case he just said sorry that these unpleasant things have happened, when I asked him that you had called me to settle the case how did he propose to do so, he was also indifferent to our complaint, our trauma, misbehavior from the collection agencies, threatening, gave the answer as “pay the outstanding dues and the case is closed”.
        I am also giving you the copy of original complaint for your reference in this letter.
        Original complaint
        This is to inform you that I have been using Airtel Sim card number
        [protected] for about ten years and I had taken two add on numbers,
        1) [protected] being used by my daughter Nikita,
        2) [protected] being used by my husband Mahesh.
        There have been dues pending on [protected],
        I have received call from priya from this numbers 64539403 asking me
        that there is an out standing amount of Rs.10500/- since last 3
        months, and I have to pay that immediately.
        When I told her that I am in Baroda and I will be coming in the month
        end, when I come back I will sort out the matter, where upon she
        started screaming that “ I will see to it that you pay the dues
        immediately”. Again I told her that I am not there when I come back I
        will sort out the matter, but she refused to listen and said that “ I
        will see to it that how you don’t come from Baroda within an hour and
        make the payment, I will send you a legal notice then let me see how
        your don’t come from Baroda”.
        Some one had called the land line number of my In-laws house and asked
        for the address saying that they are calling from Courier Company and
        there is a courier for nikita.
        In less than an hour one of the collection boys had gone to my In-laws
        house at Dahisar west, and asked for the cheque, at that time my niece
        was at home she called me to confirm that a boy has come for cheque,
        when I hold her that she has not told any body to collect the cheque
        from you than how come some one has come to collect the payment.
        The boy called the executive and gave the phone to my niece, priya
        started screaming at my niece to pay the amount on our behalf and she
        should collect the money from us.
        Are your collections people supposed to ask others to pay the amounts
        on our behalf?
        There were many calls from this number to me.
        Then they called nikitas friends
        1) on 22nd OCT Dhariya oza and started asking questions about the
        relation he had with nikita and told him to ask nikita to pay the
        outstanding amount.
        2) on 25th one Irfan sheikh had called my husband on cell no
        [protected] and asked him to him did he know geetu Bhambhani, when my
        husband asked him why are you asking and who are you, Irfan sheikh
        simply said that this lady is fraud and she has done fraud of
        thousands of rupees, my husband told him that you have become a judge
        and have passed a judgment that she is fraud, irfan said he will tell
        every body that she is fraud.
        3) on 25th Irfan sheikh had called nikita”s friend prachi jain, she
        called my husband that she had received a call from airtel, and they
        told her that your friend nikita has given your number as alternate
        number and there is a outstanding amount and ask nikita to pay the
        dues.
        4) on 29th Irfan sheikh had called nikitas friend leena verma.
        5th on 29th Irfan sheikh had called nikitas friend Krishna Kamal
        5) on 29th Irfan sheikh had called nikitas friend Vishakha Sodha.
        6) on 29th Irfan sheikh called my in-laws land line number at Dahisar,
        my son attended the phone , Irfan sheikh asked him that there is out
        standing payment my son told him that you have been told that the
        payment will be made why have you called on Land Line number, don’t
        you have their cell nos please call on those numbers, Irfan sheikh
        told him that she is fraud be careful with her. He repeatedly called
        my cell as I was busy with some family function my son who answered
        the phone Irfan sheikh inquired if he could speak to Geetu Bhambhani
        or Nikita, My son told him that when you have been told that your dues
        will be paid then why are you calling again and again.
        7) on 30th Irfan sheikh called nikita on her Vodafone number, and
        asked about the payment, he further said, when I have informed your
        friends and have sent messages through them then why haven’t yout paid
        the amount, Nikita told him that when I had told you that the overdue
        amount will be paid in November then why have you been calling
        friends, you are not supposed to do so. Nikita further told him that
        she has lodged police complaint against you, Irfan sheikh told her I
        don’t bother, you complain any where, I am asking for payment.
        The credit limit set on the ad on phone was set at Rs 3000/- then why
        did you not disconnect the phone when the credit limit was crossed,
        why did you let the amount to stretch to Rs 10000/- or Rs13000/- which
        your agents have been claiming.

        I say that if you have appointed this type of collection agent then
        what is the future of your company as:
        My Daughter Nikita’s contacts details have been divulged to third
        party. Are you authorized to do so? What is the Guarantee that the
        phone numbers of her contacts will not be misused?
        Your agent has maligned our name in the society by contacting my
        daughters contacts and informing and asking them to ask nikita to make
        the payments.
        Your agent has threatened my husband that he will post one boy at our
        kandivali address and one boy at my in-laws house to collect the
        payment.
        Your agent is threatening my daughter on her Vodafone cell also.
        You have disturbed and threatened our privacy by giving our contact
        numbers to your agent.
        Your agent has sent a collection boy at my in-laws house at Dahisar
        and threatened for payments.
        You have not even sent me a simple letter of recovery and have asked
        goonda type of agents to collect payments.

        I say that you are using ‘Goondaism’ on your Airtel customers, and
        maligning our name, in society, which has caused us mental torture
        and harassment.
        Is this what the Airtel brand is all about?
        Then why I should not file the defamation against Airtel , also post
        the details on Face Book, in print and electronic media about my
        family’s suffering.

        Thankyou for the courtsey extended to me during my visit to resolve our case.
        Out of the 55 minutes we met I spoke to you about 40 minutes on the
        subject and pointed out about the no reply to our mails regarding the
        complaints we had made, we were just shunted from one officer to
        another but none of the officers replied to our complaint, all the
        mails I had forwarded to you from my wife Geetu's ID for your
        reference.
        where as you had assured as the case had escalated now it was your
        office, which will settle the case and we should meet when I was in
        Mumbai.
        And surprisingly without hearing you have sent us a legal notice.
        and very sorry to say that your reply after hearing me " pay the
        amount due and the case os closed"
        When I again pointed out the anguish, trauma which we had gone through , you
        Finally you said that you have forwarded our case to the redressal committee.
        It has been 10 days now since we met and I havent recieved your mail
        as yet and I have lost all my patience
        Sir this leaves me just helpless as none of the officers are replying
        to complaints.
        I have no other option but to go to the court. And now we shall meet
        in the court.

        Vodafone — Collection agent abusing

        I had a vodafone postpaid connection. I got an 'SMS' saying that I'll be getting a discount if my bill amounbt goes above Rs. 1510/- which I didn't get. I complained a lot of times with their customer care but it didn't work. What they rather did is disconnecting my line and now they are continuously making collection calls to my alternative number and one of their collection agent also used SLANG, ABUSED me and also scared me over the phone. These people are really very irritating. I have complained about this issue with their customer care also. Kindly take the necessary action.
        They are doing more than that. They set you a service, no intimation sent, no information that money is being deducted, and they quietly take the money.
        Once caught they only refund the money for the last 3 months as they have the records for that period. For any wrong deductions before ...its not their headache.

          I am staying in Hyderabad Tolichaowki area, in this area if I am going to buy any recharge coupon then every store keeper who is selling the recharge coupon asking 1rs extra on every coupon, when I ask why it is so then they are saying that service provider executive is charging extra so only we are also taking... ever this is the max retail price this is the problem with every one..

          Please do something for this, I don't whether the service provider is taking extra money thats the reason store person is charging extra or store keep it self charging extra, this is the problem of max. place of Hyderabad.

          Please help us.

            This is Balasubramani from Trichy. I have been using Airtel network for the past 2 years, number is [protected]. Five days back my Airtel number has been blocked. I have called to Airtel customer care regarding this problem on Friday night. One customer care officer has received my call and told, we have called you yesterday for address verification. But you didn’t pickup our call. Thus why we had blocked your mobile no. After that I had made lots of question regarding that problem to that customer care officer. But he hasn’t given
            me a proper answer. Then he has transferred the call to his manager. The manager also said the same. And then finally I have requested to manager, I will submit my id proof to my nearest Airtel office. But he has told it is not possible, because once blocked you won’t get back your mobile number. I had requested so many times but they can’t understand my problem. I have been mentally upset by what he had told. I am a job seeker; I have given my mobile no to my friends, family, relatives and my resume also, I have not been able to make and recieve any calls and mgs etc.I have phone call interview on coming 05.03.2012. Please give me back my mobile number. If you won’t give me, my carrier will be spoiled. Please take care this issue seriously and do the possible as early as u can. I hope, i will get better solution for that.

            Deactivation of Number

            I am sartaj my Mobil number was [protected] I have submit a requested to deactivate my number on 22 of December in uttam nagar after paying all dues it was Rs.1743. But there is no response from their side. Neither I use that number after 22 of December nor there is any incoming and out going calls on that number. And I don’t know why they are regularly sending me monthly bills.
            How many times I have called to customer care but they are not taking action by saying that your number is activate and pay all the dues then this number will be deactivate.
            Please help me I have fed up by receiving monthly bills.

            I had taken a Airtel prepaid connection in March 2009. Mobile No; [protected]. Sim Card No:[protected]. Subseqently, they had wanted an enlorement form to be submiited with Address proof and photo which was done in 2010 and again in 2011. However, they do not give any acknowledgment for the same. Now, again on 16 thJune 2012, my mobile was suddenly deactivated, the screen showing " Sim registration failed" without any prior information. I went to the Airtel office in Annanagar,Chennai - Reachh Telecommunications who said that I had to submit my address proof and photo along with the prepaid enrolment form again.. I submitted it again and this time took a acknowledment of the form which was signed reluctantly by the staff at Airtel office.. They said it would be reactivated in 48 hrs. Since it was not rectivated even after 6 days( nobody answers phones there), I had to go to the office again. This time they said that I had to take a duplicate Sim card as the old Sim card has become invalid and for that I have to submit my address proof and photo again. I was vexed ! Why should a customer be made to suffer so much for no fault of his? I just walked out of the office. There is nobody on 121 also to address my problem. Can any Airtel executives help?             I have been in touch with Airtel since last 16 days for activating my number which was barred for no reason.

            Below is the enitre history of my case and also attached follow up mails with Koramangala branch.

            In the month of march i have done a Mobile number portability from Reliance to Airtel for my number [protected]. Airtel has collected all my documents at my office and sent in their person to do address verification to my residence and same was completed immediately after i requested for MNP.During Verification process he demanded for my ID proof which i have produced and also i signed on papers what he brought as proof of verification. My number has been converted to Airtel from march onwards and two bills has been generated since then.

            Now surprisingly without any information they barred my service, when i approached their outlet in Kormangala to get clarity i was told that number has been barred due to pending address verification. On my first visit(30th April) they were not ready to register any complain about my issue wherein outlet manager (Ganapathy) has committed to get the issue resolved by next day but there was no action from him. He even gave his mobile for any assistance but he never responded to my call on that day where I made more than 50 calls to reach him

            Again on next day (1st May) i visited their office and demanded for service request registration number after long struggle i managed to get one and Ganapathy committed to clear the issue within 24hrs and 2nd time also he failed. On my third visit (2nd May) I demanded for solution and this time they convinced me saying that due to some internal miscommunication on my address verification(between agency setup for verification and Airtel ) information didn’t get captured in their system properly so they requested for another Verification for which i agreed.

            Without any pre intimation verification guy had come to my house on Saturday (3rd May) when i was not in station. He called up on my alternative number and i told him to come on Monday or anytime in that week but he never turned up neither responded to my calls on weekdays. On Tuesday when i called Airtel customer service i understood that my number has been totally discontinued. Again on 9th May i went to kormanagala outlet to get clarity on why number has been Discontinued wherein they said since i was not available at home address verification has been failed. I was not convinced by the justification given by them and i demanded a solution on same day at any cost. I did went aggresive and said i ll not leave the place until i get a solution but nothing happend except store people convinced me saying they will get my number activated by next day. Attached below mails from Syed Khadri who attended me along with branch manager Ganapathy, Outlet Propreitor Jois.

            On Friday i, e 10th Evening they sent a person to my house to collect another set of documents stating that without which they cant activiate my number. I did gave them and signed a new application form but since then there is no progress and when ever i call up outlet people they come some excuse saying deposit is not approved, reactivation approval has not come etc etc. I seriously have no clue how long will this drag and who can sort out the issue.

            Adding to above i did called up customer service and registered a complaint but till now no one has come back nor resolved my issue. I also given a written complaint in Airtel website but no response on that as well. On Last week i did registerd a complaint in consumercourtforum.in after that couple of people called me from your Delhi office and asked for case history. They promised to come back with solution within 48 hrs and its been 5 days now no response yet.

            If airtel is not capale to handle such situation then i am least bothered to continue with you network just let me know accordinlgy i ll swith to better service provide as there are lot many options availabe than Airtel in our market.

            All i wonder is when there was a verification done by your agency and i did signed on papers produced to me why they are claiming for another verification. Also if there is internal issue why should they penalize me by deactivating my number for more than 15 days now.

            Also i need a proper justification in written for deactivating my number even after i produced all the doucments and complied to all the rules of your company and TRAI. If they claim that address verification is not done then how can you allow me to use for 2 months and also bill me for 2 months when TRAI says without address verification number cannot be activated and let me to use for 2 months. It is very clear evident due their internal miscommunication they disconnected my number and caused me so much trouble and monetary loss to my business.

            I looking forward for a proper justification, immediate activation of my number and compensation for the loss they caused to me.

            I am available on my alternative number [protected] for any clarification.
            I wish to have the land line and internet No [protected] be deactivated immediately.

            REASON:- We have taken a new connection with wi-fi facility bearing No [protected].

            Pl do the needful at the very earliest.

                Dear Sirs,

                I have been charged Rs.299 for the renewal of the monthly Blackberry plan. which i have now been using for one year.

                One day before the renewal date, i sent a De-Activation request by SMS to 121 (airtel).

                But next day i noticed that i have been first charged Rs.299 for the new month, and few minutes later the BB plan was de-activated.

                I have been complaining them, but i find it very difficult to reach the right person who really has the powers to correct the problem.

                All the customer care executives will feed you with same excuses and scripted messages, which in real have no solutions for you.

                I hope airtel will solve my problem urgently, as i have to travel and my BB is not working !!

                Monthly Plan to operate BlackBerry on Airtel — monthly plan charges

                Hi, I have been using the montly plan (INR 299.00) for getting my BlackBerry connectes to internet thru Airtel services, since 14th instant. Now i wanted to shift the monthly plan to INR 399.00.
                I was following up with Airtel customer care center for getting a help in transferring the balance amount from the money deducted from me to shift to new Monthly Plan , so that i can start at early from today

                Air tel cust.care is not giving a satisfactory answer and need help, hence, this complaint

                  I am very disappointed by the service offered by Airtel and the worst is that no body is there to listen, all gives you the false statements. Airtel is cheating me from last 3 months, i have taken a Airtel Prepaid 4 years back, i never activated any service, and they are deducting my amount for some or the other reason. Airtel is a fraud company... Since last few months I am being charged for Rs. 18.00 every week for activating some or the other services. I have never requested these services and now I have been threatened. Moreover the customer care executives agree to their mistake for wrong deduction of amount from my account and after that too give excuses for not refunding my deducted amount.
                  Even if i have deactivated my hellow tune service 4 month back still every month the airtel deducting Rs20- from my account.Every time contacting costomer care but no use.

                  Since today morning, Airtel has started sending me SMS 'Thank You for downloading MP3 using Airtel WAP service. You have been charged 15 Rs'. I received 15 such SMS in matter of half an hour. More than 300 Rs were deducted today for services I never used. At present, to avoid my account to become zero, I had to switched off my mobile phone.

                  This is pratap reddy. . What my problem is i recharge for internet balance with rs 250 which gives 8gb internet surfing with 3 months validity. Last week when surfing, my balance will be deducted from main balance(rs30). Then immediately i make a call to customer service and talk with employer. Then he forward my call to Divya Teja who is working as a supervisor. She told to me your access point is changed thats why your amount deducted from main account. After sometime she told that she will add rs20 to my account after one hour. But till now they can't add any amount to my accouont. Actually i don't know what is access point. After that incident I am trying to know what is access point.
                  The access point is automatically enabled when sim is replaced. They cannot send any message about access point when sim replaced. how can i know about that. Please take action if airtel is wrong, otherwise leave it.my mobile number:[protected]

                  I Naresh Singh Mobile Number-[protected] is very dissatisfied with airtel. On the day of 26th of Jan 2011, I activated a internet of 50MB free by Rs 5 and same amount deducted from my account. But after that Rs 5.70 and Rs 39.
                  And 27th of Jan 2010 Rs 9.70 is also deducted from my account as browsing charge if 50MB is free what is meant by browsing charge. I used internet wef one year ago but browsing charge was 30KB per 30 paisa.
                  I used less internet but more amount deducted. Why it is happened? Call me and give reason. I think that is fraud of airtel.

                  I again got recharged on 31.01.2011 by paying Rs.110/-.Ther was 30 ps. deduction after a bell ring sound.I could not understand for what that amount was being deucted.In that way daily Rs.4-5 was being deducted.I approached the mobile recharger . They could not clarify.They checked and informed that none of other services are activated in my mobile.
                  On 17.02.2011 I got recherged by paying Rs.249/- and for internet I paid Rs. 98/-.I did not make a single call.But , at night there was a message that 'Call cost is 267/- and balnce is 0'.

                  Please help me to reimburse my money that was deducted illgally.

                  1.This is complaint regarding airtel forced deductions from customer account in the name of Value added services on 22.2.11 thre was Rs.60 in my moms acc .
                  2.On 22.2.11 we recharged the account by Rs.149 . by thursday ie 24.2.11 they amount left was Rs.130 .Rs.60 was deducted from her account .on calling Customer CAre it was said that some ranbir kapoor service has been activated. and it was assured that Rs.60 will be reimbursed by 26.2.10 and the services will be deactivated.
                  3.Nothing was done till 28.2.11 rather Rs 52 balance was left , Infuriated i called Airtel Customre Care to the reasons behind the deduction and the senior Exec cut the call ,I called from another number again senior e xec put the blame on us and cut the call and till date nothing has been reimbursed.

                  5.I sent a mail at nodal office and airtel [protected]@airtelindia.in n i got a reply the email id has been changed.

                  4 MY QUESTION IS that IS AIRTEL SO HUNGRY TO LOOT THE HARD EARN MONEY FROM THE CUSTOMER .

Every time they stop every Value added services , but the condition is always same. They promise that they have stopped every VAS but again i recharge and the amount is deducted. Once i opted for MNP, then they call me and then told me that if you cancel MNP then we refund your money as well as decrease your call rate also, so i cancelled my MNP request but again they neither refunded nor they have removed VAS from my mobile no. The situation is same and now i decided not to recharge it and carry a additional mobile...It is little bit cumbersome but i have to do it... Plz take appropriate step towards such clever company. Really i am getting annoyed from this AIRTEL.

                  Thanks for your attention towards my matter, 50rs is refunded in my main a/c balance, but the situation is same, Again my 5 rs is deducted. I complained and customer representative has told me that something activated from Airtel live, i Don't know when i subscribed something from airtel live, but i requested them to stop it... CC gives me reference no. ROVAD[protected] and it is said that your subscription service will be closed till 17 aug, Hope it will be stopped... and my problem will be resolved.

                  This to inform you that airtel has deducted Rs 220 from my main balance instead of deducting it from internet balance and after i logged my complain they have only refunded Rs 101. And
                  balance is still pending after calling in there customer care they first said that you will get your balance by 23 december,2011. And then when i did not got the balance they again took my new complain and they are saying that the problem will be solved by 27 december.
                  They should the balance immediately because they know it is there fault.
                  Please look into this matter.

                  They are doing more than that. They set you a service, no intimation sent, no information that money is being deducted, and they quietly take the money.
                  Once caught they only refund the money for the last 3 months as they have the records for that period. For any wrong deductions before ...its not their headache.

                  I was deducted ₹45 today for downloading a game i didn't ...i called the customer care but all they can do is tell weird and fake explanations...i hate Airtel, , , , cheaters, frauds...
                  my airtel prepaid no [protected]. Deducted 99/- two times with same timing and date for downloading berryboom-android. But in reality I havnt download it. Please rectify this issue.

                    I have been using a prepaid Airtel sim ( No.[protected] Mobile No.[protected]) listed at Thiruppur (originally purchased as post-paid) since Nov. 2010. At the time of initial application for the sim and again at the time of changing the post-paid connection to Prepaid in May, 2011, I had submitted all the required documentary evidence of residence, central govt.service etc.I was getting the bills in the first months at the address provided by me as long as I was using a post-paid connection.After switching over to the prepaid connection , I have been recharging the account regularly. Yet, to my disbelief and consternation, I was shocked to receive a meassage that my connection was deactivated without any notice though I have fulfilled all the requistes. The deactivation was done abruptly and rudely in violation of all the established norms of customer-service provider relations.It was high-handed and atrocious.I have been using this number for nearly two years and all my numerous contacts are aware of this number only. This sudden deactivation has left me high and dry as it is an uphill task to inform all my contacts about the deactivation. It may even cast aspersions on my integrity as a customer.Subsequently, when I tried to get a duplicate sim on the same number, it went futile as the dealer at Pondicherry (B.P.Communications,) tried but failed repeatedly in his attempt. My calls to Nodal Officer through Customer Care evoked a monotonous and indifferent reply that the connection cannot be reactivated. He cited the reason that there was no address proof. My question as to the earlier submission of documentary evidence went unheeded. It is the most shocing behaviour on the part of the Service provider.No courtesy.No rules and regulations.This kind of irresponsible and provocative responses will bring down the edifice on which the company has been built. The company should realise that customers are the actual pillars of the company.If no action is taken even at this stage, I will be constraned to move the cnosumer courts.I still look forward to a positive reply.

                      This is sivakumar. I purchased an airtel data card before 20 days, Same time i took airtel broadband connection also. both the service was very badly provided with very worst response. the customer care employee placed my call regularly in hold and without any intimation they would cut my call. when i asked for their EMP ID they did'nt provide me, the next case in data card is all of a sudden i got a message as network registration denied. i contacted customer care and asked them to help .they told me to tell the data card sim(mobile) 10 digit number. i couldnt get the number because when i put the sim in the mobile and trying to call to another number it gets me mobile network not available . i told this stage to CC people (Arputha raj and kiran) but they told we cannot help you without 10digit number. i had the sim no and serial no. application no but they told they cant help. am really frustrated with Airtel service and am exhausted completely. they are not ready to help and the network is also very poor. it automatically disconnects. the interest they showed on sales of datacard and broadband is completely missing at the time of technical service. Airtel Company should TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION. Else stress due to this Customer care and airtel people will take me to any mental depression . In case if am depressed and taking any serious actions on myself, the cause and complete responsibilty is AIRTEL.

                          I have subscribed a la carte pack with selected options yesterday n received a call today in the afternoon from airtel saying that my a la carte pack will be activated within 1 hour but still it has not been activated and the old pack which is the economy pack is still activated instead.

                          For the reconfirmation i have called on airtel digital tv customer care number and the person says that in their notice neither the a la carte pack has been activated nor they have any such information in their system.

                          Its already more than 24 hours and still no activation message i have received yet.

                              I want to bring into your notice that since day 1, I was facing problems regarding my new connection for[protected] regarding internet services. The problem was that since day 1 i was not getting the guarantedd speed of 2mbps and the next day i was informed that my limit of 30 GB was over, I dont know how could they say that because i never download such. Moreover on my selfcare account it showed that download was only 124 MB and this airtel didn't believe and harrassed me economically.
                              I was amazed to see that AIRTEL people gives many commitments but only for making blury image of AIRTEL. I made many complaints for its solution but nothing came up. Since many mail were forwarded, many calls were answered and visited AIRTEL office but nothing processed regarding cancellation of my number. Then I had to take a step to lodge a complaint at CONSUMER COURT then only was my connection dismissed.

                              All these transaction were between 23rd and 31st Jan,2012

                              I was also given commitment by AIRTEL HEADOFFICE EMPLOYEE that my bill would be waived off and my DEPOSIT of Rs. 500/- would be surely refund, but as stated earlier I dont believe any such committment for AIRTEL and now I came to know by calling customer care that lien has been exercised on my deposit and there is no refunding details for that. I assume this is fraud on part of Airtel to adjust my deposit against a bill for which a customer was economically harrassed by the department. I was committed that i have to bear no bill + i would surely get full refund.
                              I was also informed that bill liability would be beared by the sales person and not me but it seem that AIRTEL never does the job as to commitment...

                              They only gave me this reference number[protected]..

                              I was given a date of 27th February 2012 that the problem will be resolved by this date, but as expected from earlier frauds, no-one took a step regarding this complaint of mine with ID[protected].
                              As a matter of fact, I called up the customer care a few days earlier (ref. no[protected] and came to know that the matter in complaint ID 11868230 is not what I complained for. From this I suppose Airtel Staff wants to cover the their irregularities.
                              Moreover if we look in THE CONTRACT ACT, 1872 - Airtel is required to refund Rs. 500/- + Interest and inconvience charge. But AIRTEL thinks that consumers are not aware of any ACTS.

                                    My colleague Mr Roy, had procured a prepaid SIM card ([protected]) from Airtel in the year 2003 from Barrackpore, Kolkata. Suddenly they have deregistered his number on 16 Feb 2012 without any valid reason. repeated inquiries at customer care centres at Tollygunj, Kaligahat, and Parkstreet have yielded no fruitful explanation or reason and the centre employees say that the number has been deleted from the computer.

                                    The validity of the SIM was till June 2014 (valid for lifetime) and regular recharge has been done till date. The balance was more than 200/- on date. Photogragh and proof of residence along with the KYC was also submitted last year and there wasn't any issue till now.

                                    Refusal by the customer care to check out the problem is a rude shock to him. Deletion of the number being used since the last NINE years is a real problem to relatives and acquaintances who have this number and are unable to contact him. It is requested to look into his case.

                                      I lodged a complaint on Feb 25 and one representative called me next day and confirmed the problem but closed the compliant without my consent.This amounts to misbehavior by the representative and could lead to serious action from the customer.

                                      Airtel has no business to remove channels at their will without the consent of the customer. Such action could be treated as cheating. This channel was being aired since more than an year. No feed back was collected from me before the removal.

                                      I request Airtel to take immediate action and restore the channel immediately
                                      Seriously we are also missing this channel. And customer care is not giving proper response that when they are giving back this channel. And mostly i want to know the reason why it has been removed with out consent from customers.
                                      It's really pathetic we missed "Dhamunna channel" & very good news channel. Insted of this they should remove SAKSHI or NTV or TV5, no use of it and these are totally self dabba channels.
                                      I have called to customer care so many times, it' will up soon but not result as of now.
                                      [protected] is my customer id..I'm one of the above dissatisfied customers of Airtel for the same reason. It feels like I'm being cheated if they remove channels at will without the consent of the existing users. This has been 3rd different experience with Airtel (2 mobile connections in the past and DTH now) that they cheat on customers after they pay for the service. Looks like they take customers for granted and not care for them anymore after getting the customer and money. They are missing the logic that a consumer can choose to go out and be a bad "word of mouth" publicity. It's a shame that they cannot accommodate the most popular news channel of the region that too a free one.
                                      I am not recommending Airtel to friends anymore. They are not pro-customer. How come they air channels like TV5/NTV and remove ABN. cant believe!!!
