I HAVE GOT YOUR REPLY AGAINST MY COMPLAINT. THEY SAID ME THAT SPEED IS GROWN. BUT MY INTERNET SPEED IS NOT GROWN YET. IT IS 45KBPS. PLEASE GIVE ME ASSURED 512KBPS SPEED, SO AT LIST I WILL CONTINUE.

Airtel Broadband — Very low speed

I was having a broadband connection that was very good otherwise, download speed, upload speed, connectivity speed, etc, except that their service was very poor, they will respond after 4-5 days for today's complaint, sometimes not at all, you have to follow up by spending your precious money, since I needed a reliable constant connection, I changed over to Airtel, which was praised to the skies for service and all, but I happened to know the problems only after getting the connection of 799 home plan, 256 kpbs speed (only half the speed which they are able to and are providing right now), which is causing a lot of problem since I am mostly doing work from home, and the speed is a problem, especially when you use some online programs (I never had speed or connection problem when the other connection was active). Also, these people collect a service tax of 13%, which would add another Rs. 100 to this plan, and I am not sure if I upgrade the speed, will they be able to provide consistent speed or the same half the speed as it is now, really sometimes, I wonder how they do not have a problem taxing a lot of money and boasting good service, but there is no service on speed, there is no commitment on this, what is the use of having a connection that is of no use other than emailing only.

    Hi ,
    Pavan Deshmukh here (Ph No: [protected]). I am using airtel from past 6 years. I have submitted documents to convert my prepaid number to postpaid(CUG [Cybage group]) to airtel executive (Ph No : [protected]).He told me that my postpaid connection will be activated after three days but it won’t.
    One of the executive called me for address verification I asked him that do I need to be at home for verification he replied that it is not mandatory to be at home he will just verify address. He visited my place and one of my friend attended him .
    After all this I received one message denoting that address verification failed .I again called airtel executive (Ph No : [protected]) regarding this message that it was not my fault. Then executive (Ph No : [protected]) called his senior (Rathod or Rathore I am not exactly sure about his name but I do have phone number : [protected]) he took appointment that airtel executive will meet me on 31th of Jan 2012 at my office between 1 to 2 pm for verification .But no one came on that day and again I received message after some day that address verification failed.
    I have messaged all the three executive that I will escalate this issue if my query is not resolved no one replied on message. Then I called executive and talked with Rathod or Rathore( phone number : [protected]). He told me u can escalate this issue and do whatever you want. If you have recording of this call you can verify the conversation between us.
    Again one of executive called me for verification without any idea or further notice. I was at office when I got call for this and it was impossible to reach home and again they did same thing and I received message that address verification failed.
    I called executive (Ph No : [protected]) for the same yesterday (8th Feb 2012) he told he will check and update me accordingly but he didn’t. That’s why I called him today for the update now he talked me for while and cut the call .
    Now I am fed up of all this process and behavior of airte’s executive towards customer I am using airtel from past 6 years now I have made up of mind. Please ask your executive to provide my documents back to me.

    Please do the needful.

      My airtel number is [protected]. i recharged my airtel number from karnataka as i was roaming. the recharge was of rs. 250/- but all the amount directly went into my dedicate accound and not my regular account. because of this, my balance is still showing as 0.00. this is highly unacceptable. I called customer care and they said that the amount has been added to my dedicate account and they can do nothing about it. what is the use of the recharge then. i am not able to make or recieve any calls on my mobile.

      Airtel — DEDICATED BALANCE NOT UPDATED

      I RECHARGED MY PHONE WITH A SPECIAL OFFER OF RS HUNDRED AND ELEVEN AND I WAS TOLD BY THE RETAILER THAT I WOULD GET RS SEVENTY THREE IN MY BALANCE AND FIFTY MINS FREE ON CALL TO OTHER LOCAL MOBILE NETWORKS BUT I DIDNT GET THAT FIFTY MINS FREE. SO PLS TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION IN THIS DIRECTION AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE . AS I DIDNT GET APPROPRIATE RESPONSE FROM CUSTOMER CARE SO IM COMPELLED TO REGISTER THIS COMPLAINT

I called customer care and they said that the amount has been added to my some 3G Pack and they can do nothing about it.       Please this is seriously unacceptable. I needed the talktime not this package, please do something about it. This is quite unfair for someone who cannot afford second recharge for next week or so.

        Hello sir,I am using airtel postpaid connection.I want to raise a complaint against the staff of Airtel Relationship Centre.The staff at Par Marketing (ARC) provides wrong and misleading information against various services.I wanted to purchase one more postpaid connection and the staff told me that would take 24 hrs to get the number activate but it's two days now and the number is still inactive.When I called customer care they told me that the postpaid number gets activated instantly.When I told this to ARC staff they deny it completely.I am facing problems.Please look into the matter.

          sir, my airtel no is [protected]. my problem is i am unable to connect in 3G mode, in 2G mode it connect, but in 3G mode it could not connect. when i am connect in 2G mode it shows unable to connect browser, i have tested in other browser, but the same will appear. My handset is Nokia 500. but in other carrier like reliance, bsnl,aircel it will easily connect, but could not connect only in Airtel 3G. i have complain it airtel customer care, but the problem is not solved. So, please help me.

            I have a airtel pospaid connection, i had free coupons from airtel for 'daily 200 local and national sms free @ 99 monthly
            rental' but the company is charging me for it. also without my knowledge they started a service 'gprs 1GB [protected]@10p/10KB rental 98/-' which i never started.
            My number was out of service as i was not ready to pay the bill nor these guys called me for any queries. Still they charged me extra other than the monthly rental.
            While purchasing a purchased a corporate plan and now the some features of the plan are missing. its not reflecting in their records.

            The day I started using mobile I used airtel...but its the worst service ever. unnecessary charges n fake usage of Internet. this is what i got from airtel. Worst service ever.

            I will be soon switching to Docomo, as my brother uses it.n its a wonderful service.

              ts been more than 1 months a rs 5/- Is being deducted from my reliance mobile no [protected] everyday with a message displaying from AD-54321 as mod vod combine product at 5/- .Wap.Mauj.Com/Utp/L13745v1539x90010v2/Sub/Index.Php?page=reliance_push_alert. If available balance than everyday message from AD-54321 and than deduct my balance and no balance no message. I talk with customer care from Airtel communication(Mumbai) but no response.               Sir, I am customer of Airtel Mob No [protected] which was blocked due to problem in ID Proof. I had sent again my documents for activate the same sim. But Now, a new sim is given to me bearing Mob No [protected]. My bal of Rs 91/- in previous mob [protected] not yet credited in present sim Mob No [protected]. Kindly transfer bal amount in previous sim to new mob no at the earliest.

                My Customer ID is [protected].I've submitted my choices for a-la carte pack ,online on Feb 4,2012,and even after four days my pack has not been changed.I've submitted the channel selections multiple times but it doesn't work.The first two times i did,i got the confirmation email but my package didn't change.After that i have not even been getting the confirmation email,and if call customer care they just tell to submit the request again.And meanwhile i continue to get the pack that i do not want and it's costing me Rs 400.

                  This complain is about the DTH connection availed from one Service providers of Airtel in
                  meerut in Old Saadar in sabji mandi market . The Owner is Mr Suraj gupta [protected] . I
                  have DTH connection Id number - [protected] in name of Mr puneet Gupta . I have bought
                  an LCD on which 2 months Airtel connection was free , Now on 28 th Jan on confirming from
                  Miss Himani who is the coordinator in Airtel office and Mr Yug who was the engineer who
                  visited my Home for getting connection activated . As per tele conversation with Miss himani
                  she told that for normal connection 243 Rs recharge is there and for HD channels 90 Rs extra
                  is to be added . I got Airtel DTH connection activated as per her and gave 350rs for HD+ DTH
                  connection .
                  After my Connection getting recharged,only 2-3 HD channels were coming on TV . I
                  complained about the same to Miss himani and Mr suraj , They told tht there are 11 HD channels
                  which come on HD connection .
                  They confirmed me that they are sending their engineer Mr YUG . He visited home and got the
                  channels activated .
                  Just after 1 week after recharge , now i am again getting messages that my a/c has become
                  empty and i need to get it recharged again , after asking Mr Suraj and miss Himani , they told me
                  that some games channel has been activated and sports channel has been activated by them .
                  Pls confirm that when i have not asked them to activate any such account why have they done
                  that , I have already paid complete amount for HD channels and which were rectified by their
                  team only and everything was done by them . Why should i now bear another charge .
                  Team pls help me and get me a proper solution of this cheating done . i need my recharge for
                  1 month done by them as they have finished my balance whithout asking me and got channels
                  activated which were not asked . Neither they have submitted me any broucher about the
                  channels in that pack .

                  We are also facing a similar fraud.
                  My mother recharged Digital TV-[protected] with Rs 1050 in Dec, 2011. The account has not been credited till date ( feb 16). It is a meerut connection and Airtel Main office in Sadar Sabji mandi has been very non cooperative although they have been visited thrice in past 3 months. Airtel is a reliable brand but its customer service is below satisfactory. When we contacted the shop from where we purchased the connection, instead of helping out owner said " Cut the connection if its giving so much trouble".

                  I have a net pack and during browsing through mobile(server- Airtel) an amount about 103.00 rupees had been deducted from my main account but 34 Mb GPRS balance was still remaining at that time.I had contacted Airtel customer care but 11 representatives listen my prolem and then they just cut the line.Finally one took my complain saying they will made the feedback after 48 hrs. as they didnot have the updates right then.But But . .after 60 hrs when I call again they said that I have no GPRS balance at the time of deduction of the said money I was trying to say that I had the GPRS balance at the time of complain then they refused saying no complain was registrered from my number and cut the line...

                  Its a great tactics of fraudulency ..............

                    Not able to Surf - Binatone ADSL Modem down frequently
                    Hi

                    When I tried to connect internet I get an error message in the browser "Binatone ADSL modem is down" frequently. (#Billing A/C – [protected]_kk ).
                    I have checked the modem (Binatone) and in that the Power and Wi-Fi line show red and green lights. However there is no signal in the DSL button in the modem.

                    I tried many times to reach to the Airtel technical team but they never received the call. It is just 2 months since I got the internet connection.Also the modem is also 2 months old. I am totally frustrated about the service provided my Airtel.

                    Request you to fix this at the earliest.

                      Dear Sir

                      We have made a surrender request for our landline number [protected] on 25.01.2012. The reference number given was 10818464. I received a call from your executive and I told him that I dont want the connection.

                      I again called on 06th Feb, 2012 for enquiring about the status of the disconnection process. I was shocked to hear that the executive who called me had written that the customer wants back the connection and it should not be diconnected.

                      I again made the complaint on 06th Feb 2012 and got a reference number 11311006 for the surrender of phone.

                      So please stop playing all these silly games with me and discoonect the service.

                        Dear Sir,
                        I am with airtel from 2008. Recently, I changed my airtel sim for a new one as my old sim was troubling. But, my new sim is still not activated and my old sim is still working. I tried to contact customer care but the call is not connected and is getting diverted everytime. Why cheating customers like this?? I spent Rs.150 for this. I am writing this as this is my only solution now. Atleast seeing this, please contact me and solve my issue.

                        But, THE SERVER IS DOWN
                        CALL GET DISCONNECTED WHEN CONTACTING THE CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE (121) - ( dialling for four days)
                        I am totally disappointed with your service. Please don't push me to go for other service. I want to be with airtel.
                        Airtel is a stupid network. No use of that irresponsive customer care.
                        It's better to buy a new sim. Vodafone is the best network, in coverage and quality. I have been using Vodafone for more than 3 years.

                          Airtel is increasingly becoming a very unreliable service provider. The approaching festive time like VALENTINE's DAY becomes a painful experience when Airtel advertisements like AD_54321 are LUMPED on your mobile and Rs.2 is promptly deducted from you talk time......everyday !!!! This very lousy way of earning money AIRTEL!!! I am trying to get talk to an airtel official to 1.stop the service. 2 Ask how this happens after i have made them register my number for the DO NOT DISTURB option just last month when I had a similar 3G payment FIASCO. 3.Return the money that has been deducted from my talk time. But ther is no way I can speak to anyone which quite strange!

                          To worsen the matter the 198 or [protected] and their nodal office number [protected] is a total SHAM- your options are either NOT THERE to speak about a complaint or nobody gets in touch after putting you on hold. They are either trying to act smart or ACTUALLY unable to provide a good telecommunication.

                            My father uses Airtel network and had the worst experience from Airtel services. He is 67 years old and uses mobile only to call , or receive calls. But your network is deducting money for all stupid services like Hello tunes , Radio Mirchi etc which he does not even know what they stand for. If i call customer service the IVRS make me so frustrated that I cannot reach. Every time I recharge his number with 333 or 200 , very next day all money is gone! And blame is all on us that we have activated the services. IS it sane!!

                            Your network coverage is excellent but what is the use you make sure that you sue and rip every customer you have. If you cannot make money by call , increase call charges instead o[censored]sing wrong paths and making people to suffer.Recently I was thinking to change his connection from Pre-Paid to Post Paid , but I guess Airtel Network is not just right network to choose. We made a mistake that whole family uses this network.You have kept us disturbed and frustrated all the time by service alert calls, but thanks to Ministry for making DND as compulsory service .

                            I am thinking to port his number to BSNL or may be better trusted network. It may not be of much importance to you guys if couple of connections are lost , but I will make sure that people come to know before they think Airtel. I am just posting it on my Facebook page (&account)and twitter.

                            Between my fathers number is [protected]. Please do not disturb him again, to remind you he his 67 years old. If you have good CRM system trying knowing the age before you activate services like CHAT. What a shame, he receives kind of dirty messages from your network!

                              Since past few days I have been getting an SMS "You have been renewed for JOKE PACK 2419 subscription service from Airtel. You have been charged Rs 1.0".
                              Initially I thought that there is a glitch in your system as there were no Jokes coming via SMS.
                              Later I realised that money was actually being deducted.

                              I have not subscribed to this service. I tried to unsubscribe by the following 2 SMS methods
                              UNSUB JOKES
                              UNSUB MJKE

                              However I get an SMS back "service not available"

                              On calling your customer support, they mentioned that this service has been activated since March 2010, and there is a daily deduction of Rs 1.0. But I only started getting this deduction since the past few days/weeks. Besides I am not getting any JOKES via SMS. Anyways the customer support guys could not provide any useful support and after holding the line for 5 mins also could not put me on to his superiors (Pawan Kumar) because he was busy. He said that is senior would call in 15 mins, but no call has come even after 30 mins.

                              I clearly remember deactivating the JOKES service few years back. After which the JOKES stopped coming.

                              I SIMPLY CANT IMAGINE YOU GUYS SUBSCRIBING FOR ME WITHOUT MY PERMISSION AND ALSO CHARGING FOR IT WITHOUT PROVIDING ANY SERVICE.

                              I want all my money that has been deducted these few years, back. This is so unfair for you guys to steal money like this.

                              There has been no swift resolution. Today again Rs 1 has been deducted. The first action you guys could have taken was to deactivate the service for this number.

                              From what your email states, you have refunded for the 5 months (Sep 2011 to Jan 2012). But what about the money that has been deducted since Mar 2010?
                              Form what your customer support person called and informed, you guys have records only for last 6 months for prepaid connections.

                              REALLY. You are offering me a ONE-TIME BENEFIT? And what about FEB 2012??????

                              You guys have been stealing money from my account without even rendering any service and without sending alerts of the money being deducted.
                              Don't fault me for you not having past records. If one can apply any common sense, one would easily decipher that the money has been cut since 2010 (as your customer support guy had informed me of the activation date).

                              I have to again repeat that you would need to refund the amount from Mar 2010. You guys are not offering me any favors by doing this. Actually you guys should be paying me back my money with INTEREST. That's what you charge ppl. who delay the payment on Postpaid ...right? Why not apply it here.

                              Again...in no un-clear terms...I would repeat...You would need to refund me my money since the date this service was activated by your company, irrespective of you having records or not.

                              There has been no response after a confirmation mail that you guys would look into it.
                              Airtel guys have reverted saying that they have addressed the issue. Where as they are simply saying that they cant do anything further.

                              Is there anyone out here who has faced this from airtel?

                              For Airtel: The concern has not been addressed. You guys have taken a stand that its been addressed as it suits you guys. This is disgusting. Very disgusting. You got to pay the money which you guys have wrongfully taken. Just saying that you dont have the earlier records is not my problem.
                              This is a natural tendency of Airtel. They are the worst money suckers in the telecom networks. Port to Vodafone. Vodafone is costly but service is excellent.

                                  Migration plan as agreed upon has not been implemented. That is payment of charges surrendering service. Continuously disturbing by phone calling so as to modify things as per their ulterior desire. Lastly, it has been requested for instant disconnection of telecom line. It is not known how far Airtel would try not disconnecting the telecom line.

                                    i have taken broadband service from airtel. but its speed is very low. they assure me for a speed of 512 kbps but it actually gets 45 kbps. there is big difference. please do according your assurence otherwise i will quit this connection.

                                      today,6/2/12 I recharged my mobile no-[protected] for mobile internet for amount Rs 98.transaction id is[protected].But usage validity is not updated.It is showing the same validity as 8/2/12 for previous month.So I am very upset.
                                      So you are requested to resolve this matter as soon as possible as because my internet usage validity is till 8/2/12.I dont want to suffer any inconvenience.

                                        Since last 6 months and above, I have been receiving News highlights from various News agents vide their Ref. Nos:AZ-92209 - Times of India, AZ-92202-CNNIBN, AZ-92233- Economic Times, az - 92209-Zee News, AZ-92202--India Today daily every two minutes as such it has become very irritating and the SMS Memory Card gets full with these Incoming Unwanted News highlight daily.

                                        I am a simple person and not a politician or a celebrity nor a journalist to capture news or to compete with somebody for unwanted publicity.

                                        I therefore, request you to kindly STOP this news nuisance immediately. In the past, Airtel service providers had simply charged me Rs.30/- for a horrible ghati song, then Rs.30/- for some unwanted jokes and now Rs.10/= each for news WITHOUT MY PERMISSION and have deducted a certain amount for these services which were never asked by me.

                                        I now, request you to kindly STOP this nuisance immediately and reimburse the amount deducted immediately and take necessary action against these day light theives who are robbing us simply.
