[Resolved] Airtel Broadband — NOT WORKING SINCE INSTALLATION - 9 DAYS | |
An airtel broadband connection (256 Kbps) was installed at my residence (H No 123, Sec 17 A, Gurgaon) on 30 Nov 07. The Airtel landline no is 4013517. I have been calling Mr Mohit ( I believe is Asst Mgr Mktg) and whose mobile no is [protected] every alternate day. A technical support personnel has visited me in this regard but in vain. Twice, I have requested Mr Mohit to withdraw the connection as I will be charged for these 9 days even when the connection is not working. 90% of the calls from this landline have been made by me to the company reps for getting the connection repaired/withdrawn. Airtel Broadband — Broadband Installation
Hi,I have applied for a new broadband connection on 06.02.09. The sales agent Mr. Jayaprakash (FSO code BSHR58260, Contact No. 91 [protected],[protected],[protected] collected 500 RS and promised me that i will get the connection on the very next day. Also i got the receipt with ref no. BA 0191985.
But till last Saturday nobody contacted me regarding this. When i made a call to the agent, he promised me that he will send somebody for the installation on the same day. But nobody came. On monday again i called him. He said that he has send somebody to my appartment for installation. I rushed from office to home and waited till 9 PM. Whenever i called him he kept saying that they will reach in 20 min.
Today morning he promised that at any cost the installation wil happen today itself. I took a leave and sat at my home expecting them. Now the time is 10.45 PM. I would have made 10 calls to him today itself. Each time he said that the installation guys are here itself in the area and doing the cable work. By 10.00 PM he called and told that they will come in another 30. I denied them coming at the late hours and asked for the refund since i have wasted my time. He plainly told that he will come tomorrow and will give the money back.
I have couple of questions to the Airtel management.
1.Dont you teach something about customer centricity to your agents. Dont ur agents have any shame in telling repeated lies to the customers?
2.Do you people value the time of your customers?
3.Do u think that it is worth making beautiful advertisement without giving the proper service?
4.Are u giving any special training to your agents to be customer centric only till the time they get the money in their hand?
I dont really know wat will happen to this complaint. But as customer i will have many other options other than Airtel. Like many other unsatisfied customers i may tend to choose one among them. I still have a broadband connection in my name in chennai which i still havent terminated even though i got transfered to Bangalore. I am very sad to tell that, for getting that connection also i had go through a painful process like this. But this time i will make sure that none of my collegues, friends or relatives will think about Airtel again.
I cant able to work in internet today afternoon for about 20 minutes later it starts slowly and gets its original position. Dont do this again we are in urgent work.
Ya your are right! these guys dont bother about the customers time, value and they speak as they wish...they dont get trained gud management or trainee.
I really don't know your complaint will taken care by consumer complaint people or not dont know how it going to work, any serious step will taken against airtel or not? i think this forum is for just time pass.

I am Nitin Singhal, Airtel no. 45637263. My broadband suddenly stopped working in 5st of August and they are telling that bymistake they have stopped the servce in place of someone else request on other number, but due to manual mistake ur no. is stopped, we have requested Airtel several times to rectify the problem and do not charge for the period, but they keep on giving dates for solving the problem till today and now given another date, like our Indian Courts,
We requested them several times that we want to talk to their seniors but they donot entertain, there is no airtel office we are stuckup there is no help, MTNL was better that we can go to exchange and get the things rectified but here there is only one toll free no. which is of no use, just to take connections,
No Customer care, to hell with it, we are planning to drop this connection and go for MTNL again, if not rectified in this month.

This is Anup Dogra my Airtel Number is ([protected]) and i have suffering from Airtel's pathetic services from Feb 2011, and again from last 15 days my phone is not working, what the hell with your services its really horrible and IRRITATING. Every month there is a issue. This need to resolve ASAP. Also please let me know the reason if you cant provide the services then let me know, i will look for some other option but this is really not acceptable. Why would i pay every month in which 10-15 days my phone not work.

Hi I am using internet/broadband (No: [protected]) of airtel from last 4 years. We always face regular connection/internet/ issue which gets frequently disconnected . we have given complaint several times to customer care and their technical department.Now also it is not working for 3 days, I have lodged a complaint , no response from their end.Not even a call.Planning for disconnection.

Sir,My number [protected] broad bend not working in spite of repeated complaints at 121 and sending emails to customer care of Air-tel [protected]@.....
and I am being charged for this period. Local Ariel representatives expect some favours in return. Very poor state. Kindly do something.. Thanks!!
