Dear Sir/Madam,
Compliments of the day and Happy New Year. I am Himanshu Arora from Amritsar (Punjab). I am a subscriber of Bharti AirTel from atleast 3 to 4 years. My Airtel number is [protected]. It was previously a postpaid connection till 24th December, 2007, but on 24th December, 2007 I migrated to prepaid service with the same number. After the activation of this number I got it recharged with Rs.1999 for Two year validity also got the balance of Rs.1779.
From last few days, I was trying to activate Hello Tunes service of One Year Subscription for Rs.200 by dialing *678#, but there was an error coming again and again as "We are experiencing network difficuties. Please try again later." Then I visited an Airtel Dealer for the E-Recharge of Rs.200 available specially for this service, but it also resulted in failure to activate and after that atempt I got a sms from the sender "ERecharge" on 3, January, 2008(Time= 6:41 P.M.) as "The VAS ID you requested is UNAVAILABLE. Retailer may have typed a wrong VAS ID, pls ask him to check and try again. TRANS ID[protected].". At 8:14 p.m., my balance amount was Rs.1722. Then at near about 8:15 p.m. on 3rd Jan., 2008, I again dialed *678# for another atempt for activation from my end and after the appropriate process I got a screen message indicating "Thank you for using *678# service. Press *1 to go one level up." After this I checked my balance amount, it was Rs.1722, means no amount was deducted from my balance and I got no message regarding the request or the activation time to be taken, so I thought it as the failure of that atempt, then I tried this thing atleast 2 times more facing the same problem without any deduction of amount and not even received any acknowledgement message regarding pending or approval for the desired request. After three atempts I decided to call Customer Care at 8:18 p.m. for the enquiry against the failure to my request, but they told me that my request has been approved and it is in process till 48 hours for activation, in addition they told that my all the three atempts were taken in consideration and they'll deduct Rs.600 instead of Rs.200 on the activation of the service providing me three year subscription. So, I requested them to just consider the first request and also requested check my loyality towards Airtel from the past years since my subscription and also told them that it is the duty of the service provider to acknowledge the customer for the Pending or the Approved request after every atempt. They replied me that I must have waited for sometime, then I answered that I tried for three times but even though I had not got any message to wait or either regarding my request is in process. I requested them a lot to help me in this regard and try to cancel my two requests and just activate the service for only one year instead of two and give my rest amount back. They finally told me that they cannot do anything in this regard.
As I was very much worried about loosing my balance of Rs.600 instead of Rs.200 of Airtel number [protected], it has come true and my balance of Rs.600 has been deducted today (i.e., 7th January, 2008) in the morning at about 8:31 a.m., moreover my service has not been activated inspite of deducting the amount. I request you to please call my metioned number and get to know that how a well known company does fraud to its customer by deducting the amount for a service without even providing it !
I again request you to please help me in getting my amount back from Airtel. It'll be a very kind favor to me.

Dear Sir,
I would like to inform you that i have activate GPRS on my mobile bearing no. [protected] but GPRS not working & only web page opening in Mobile set, I have complain many time to customer care executive but he has ignore and told me the services have already activated on your mobile and thenafter the customer care service close on my no. This is not happening 1st time, this is a big networking services in India, I am very hopeless for behaviour of customer care executive.
Please, activate GPRS services on my mobile no for using GPRS services on PC.
