[Resolved] Airtel Broadband — Litigation moved for not paying the bill for which i haven't used the broadband services | |||
Ref: Airtel Landline No: [protected] I am submitting this complaint because of an embarrassing experience vetted out from Airtel. The only fault from my end was that I opted for an airtel broadband connection. I was using the connection ([protected]) till April 2012 and requested authorities to transfer the connection as I was moving to a new location. Now suddenly litigation is moved against me for not paying a bill of around 4183 for which I have not used the connection. My claims are based on following points 1. The airtel representative, who came to transfer my connection, gave a new connection instead of initiating the transfer. 2. On citing this, a complaint was registered against the representative (A reference no can be found against my connection details) 3. I had informed about this incident to CC and they promised that will disconnect the connection. 4. The disconnection request now in understand, came to existence only by month of August. When I was called recently to settle the bill, I had told them that if I have any charges outstanding against my usage I will settle it. I understand that I have already paid bill for whatever data usage done, and the amount of 4183/- is the rent accumulated even after requesting a disconnection. On requesting disconnection of fixed line, I had continued patronage with airtel by taking an airtel 3G connection, and I hope you respect the customer feelings and close this issue soon. Hope the resolution to this issue will be expedited.
I am receiving calls from your collection department almost on a daily basis, asking for the payment. If i have any data usage registered which remains unpaid, i am ready to pay, which i am sure is not existent.

Hi,
I am still getting calls from people introducing them as people from advocate office (Delhi), and asking me to settle the bill amount.
This is really intimidating experience, for a simple reason that i opted to take airtel connection.
Please resolve this matter with proper resolution.
