Please help me, I am getting calls from so called airtel collection DEPARTMENT for money, people not only call to me but from my call list they r calling my family, friends, collugues and using abusive words, this is to much, when I had all ready paid my bill please see below for details

I would like to make a complaint against the unethical behavior of Airtel Customer care.
I am a prepaid customer ([protected]) from last 3 years.

On 16-12-10 I received a message from Airtel which stated:
“Exlusive Unseen Videos & Images of HOT BIG BOSS GIRLS Click http://202.87.41.147/hungamawap/airtel/89343/promo.php3”

When I clicked on the given link I received a message which stated
“Thanks for downloading JGame Pack from Airtel. You have been charged Rs 75. Join GamesClub at http://gclub.in”

So as you can see that I received a message which said me that I will be getting Images & Videos and Airtel then charged me for a Games pack (75.00rs).

This kind of fraud is completely unacceptable. More over when I tried calling the Customer care (121)
I spoke with one of your Sr. Associate (Shashikant Sahani) who was not at all helpful and was very rude.
This is not at all acceptable from Airtel that they are recruiting such kind of manner less and rude people.

I just want to file a complaint against this fraud which happened with me.
I was told something and was charged for something else.

Please do let me know the further stage of escalation as I won’t be keeping quiet until I get my money.

Hi,

I would like to make a complaint against the unethical behavior of Airtel Customer care.
I have paid the amount and then also why they are calling my friends number. Ask the representative who collected the cash from me. And I don't want this to be repeated again.

Airtel payments bank freezed my wallet money and they are neither unlocking my account nor giving refund to the source. My registered number with airtel is [protected]

i had number [protected] it was a postapaid number then i wanted to convert it in prepaid i gave that document to store (Amit communication ) they ask me to pay the postapaid bill first then i paid all outstanding amount i have a bill of that number.. i have a payment recipt. they ask me to wait for a 15days it is be 3 to 4 month now and that number being used by some other person. i had been to that store where i gave my documents a number of time however i didnt get a proper responce. i told them that i have purchase this number for 12500rs. i told them i want this number back they told me it is not possible now i feel this is unfair to me pls help.

Now said sim services blocked by the company due to non availability of indentity since September 2010.

Airtel — Hello Tune automatic activated & Amount deducted

my Mobile no [protected] Airtel Prepaid and they have automatic updated Hello tune and amount is deducted my my prepaid accounts.

Kindly immedaite deactivated the same and my money will be refunded prepaid account.

Airtel — auto depletion of balance

In my airtel prepaid account everyday some 2 rupees or 3 rupees is getting deducted for Value Added Services, which i'm not aware of.

When i call customer care number 121, i got this information that some VAS is active.
Most of the time i'm not getting connected to customer care by dialling 121.
If i get chance to talk to customer care executive, the call gets abruptly disconnected.

Airtel has started and is doing all types means and measure to earn quick money from people to provide caller tunes.

My mobile was switched off in November 2008 and was switched on in January 2010.

On switching on I found 1000 missing from my balance.

On repeated request they have just refunded 90/- and have just a simple answer that we have only 3 months record.

This is a life time validity connection and I have been robbed of my money.

True Ashwan, Even my number got deducted with automatic activation of Hello Tune service and they deducted 30 rupees first and when I sent an un-subsribe sms they further deducted 10 rupees for that single SMS...

if the CEO needs money they can come and beg ?

what is the status on this?

it's been a long time but still waiting for a revert.

also the Hello tune was activated on the [protected] for 3 months however company has rembursed only 50 rupees.

Airtel — stupid calls

I have received a call from [protected] an ISD no. may be of Dubai the call was from Airtel's head office. He told me, his name as RAMESH and asked me to call back as i have won some prize from AIRTEL.So i made him a call back, then he asked me-my name and address - i gave him the information -then he told that i have won a prize of 10 lacs of rupees .
I thought may be it is true. then he asked me to make another call to [protected]. but i didn't make a further call, thought to ask customer care or to search on internet of any such offer then i came across of this website, so i also posted my comment. i have been charges around 10/min when make him a call. i really cried a lot bcoz of loss of my Airtel balance on such a stupid thing.
This is such a ridiculous things, people have touched the baseness, they making fool of innocent people. be careful every one. AIRTEL please take some necessary actions. as AIRTEL may lose their customers. I m going to discontinue this connection and of my AIRTEL frnds as well.

This is the same with me here. I have a so called 512 Kbps and the new plan is way too pathetic and horrible. They just reduce the speed if you access more than 8 GB data to 256 KBPS. That is so harassing to the customer and doesn't serve our purpose at all. There is no point in giving an internet connection if you want to reduce the efficiency of the network when the rest of the world is moving at lightning speed.

My surfing speed sucks to hell. Even composing a simple email gets stuck for seconds together in between and the browser says "page unresponsive". Is that a 512 KBPS connection? I doubt so. I don't even trust www.speedtest.net anymore and I think it is completely rigged.

I was a great fan of Airtel earlier but I have to change my views on that sooner or later. I may just have to shift to another connection or probably migrate to Europe or even to the Philippines to avail better internet services. None of them work fine in India. Corporates with increasing profit in their businesses just don't want to serve their customers anymore. Be it Vodafone or Airtel, all are same. I am totally disappointed with Airtel. Say whatever you want to clear your position, Dear Airtel service provider, you will never be able to convince me that you are a great service provider. This is my final impression about you and you guys will never improve. I have lost every bit of admiration I had for you. Thank you for serving me for so long, but it is going to end soon.

Airtel — pathetic browsing speed

i have taken a package which entitles me to 4 mbps , but since the day of installation my surfing speed has not been more then .5 mbps , on repeated complaints to airtel. they opened a complaint , but status was "resolved" in a few days to my dismay ! till date my phone has also not been installed , no dial tone ! :(

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Pathetic customer service by Airtel's Agent

I had submitted my contact details on the Airtel Website for purchasing their DTH service 'Digital TV'. By next day had received a call in response to the details submitted. The calling personal confirned that he was calling from Airtel and explained me all about the product. I was assured by this representative that the connection will be installed within 1 day of making the payment.

To my horror, after making online payment (step by step procedure communicated by the sales repersentative) I realised that he was calling on behalf of a dealer (Connect India/Vriti). I realised my mistake of not verifying his credentials before making the payment. I had made the stupidest mistake of my life, totally dumb of me.

Anyways, have been following up constantly with them and they just don't respond back. Have also put in my cancellation request, but still no response. Am not sure if I will get a refund ever or not, but everyone else should take care and not make a stupid mistake like me.

We have called Airtel DTH people several times several complaint no one turned up and also no update or call from their side. My DTH is under warranty period, local distributer ask Rs 350/= for re setting
Airtel’s pathetic service. Executives are rude, they don’t have enough information handy with them and keep us on hold for a long time, which is irritating.
Several time we call them they give us fake promises of resolving the issue. Yesterday morning we called and they said by evening it will be alright, but nothing happened. Yesterday night we called and they promised for today morning, again same story. They are keep on pushing the problem rather than resolving it.

Your service is one of the most crappies and pathetic service I have come across. I have logged a complain for my Airtel DTH on 2nd April 2011, the day there was final match of World cup. All of sudden the DTH stopped working and this is not the first time this has happened. I have logged many complains from that day and till now I have no resolution for it. Everytime I make call to Customer care they tell me that it will be resolved by tomorrow. If I ask them to handover the phone to their supervisor then all they do is to disconnect the call. I think its complete hopeless case.

Would request if there is provision to return the Airtel DTH device and get some money back. If that is possibel then please do update me about it. I will my service provider changed as soon as possible.

I, p.s. sundaravaradan bought airtel dth with recorder as its packages are cheaper to me (I am already having TATA SKY and having very good quality pictures)and installation done on 6-3-2011. id. no.[protected], from day one I have problem viewing channels because of overlapping of clolours at regular intervels. I made many number of calls to customer call and their mechnic visited twice and replaced HDMI cable. but of no use. they could not find what the fault .Now I want the set top box be replaced as early as possible as i am unable to view any channels at a stretch as it is very glaring and overlapping. This is Rajeshwar & my A/c # is[protected]. I am using this Airtel DTH service since nearly 2 years. Recently one Airtel technician came to my home and asked me whether I am interested to use this service as they are introducing 50 more channels. I have agreed for that request & then they have changed the Dish antenna to other angle. Once they left from my location the channels are not clear & blank screens got started on my television. I am facing this issue since 20 days. Later I have recharged with 650 rs(unfortunately). Once i have recharged, the channels are completely vanished. Mostly I am facing this issue at eve timings. I have tried to reach Customer care thru Mobile/email, but no proper response. Most of the time the cc executive disconnected the call in the middle of the call, Finally I have spoken to the cust care executive today, he was saying that I need to pay more 100rs(to pay to technician) to resolve this problem. Is there any justice in this?

I used to have Tatasky connection your people came after calling them many times at night and said disc and cable is finished temporary we are connecting with Tatasky disc and next day they will come and install Airtel disc. After two days I spoke to your executives many times and logged complain to your call centre not yet solved. Sorry to say if this is your service quality then god will help you to survive in long run. I never had any problem with Tatasky since 4 years.



This is not a service problem this is ethical problem. Try to find out what they have done with my dics and cable?????????????????

I have kept all the logged complain no.s If necessary I can share.

Looking forward for reply why disc is not installed yet? Are you saving money?

I requested for new Airtel digital connection and got connection in a day also debited amount from my A/C. I have got the customer id [protected]. When engineer came then he said that can not put DTH because of some satelite issues. I immediate request for disconnection but did not get my amount credited since last one month. When do I call Airtel customer care then first thing able to get connected with the Agent in half an hour and then they say it will be credited very soon. Somehow, I find the Airtel DTH commitment level and service level is very bad and the right word would be pathetic.

I am not sure when will I get my amount back.

I doubt, any senior personality of Airtel is investigating all the problem or issues of a customer.

I am facing issue with a relocation request raised. I have waited for the engineer taking leave yesterday (9th May 2011) as he was scheduled for afternoon 2:30. After enormous calls at around 8:00 Am today (10th May 2011) I atleaset got to escallate to a seniour person. After this also, I didnt get any proper response (none actually) from them till now. Just now got a call from some one asking is my issue is resolved? They only dont have a proper internal communication. That person is not even dure what my issue was. He is asking whether signal is not coming wen I raised a request for installation. I dont know how they can send customrs from pillar to post. if it was some other country, would they have dared to do thid to any customer?

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — REG NOT PROVIDING CONNECTION

I have paid a sum of Rs. 1590/- through SBI online banking to Airtel Digital TV for cable connection vide order No. 3510730 on 31st May 2011. Even after 15 days neither they installed Digital TV nor my money refunded back till date. I have sent 8 emails to Airtel authorities but no reply received. They are also not responding to my phone calls. Please help me to get my money back against the cheating of the company. More over company denied me TV entertainment for last 15 days for which they may also be directed to pay compensation. My mobile connection is from Airtel. Even then they ignored me.

Now I am afraid of approaching any other dish TV providers as if they also cheat me like this, I will incur heavy financial loss.

This Monday two persons came to my home for migration that is changing the orientation of dish. After changing the orientation, I am not able to see any channel and my set top box is completely dead. I

Airtel Digital T.V H.D — Out of service since a week

Airtel's customer service is pathetic to say the lest. My HD stb has not been recieving signal since five days. First they refuse to take down the complaint, later after a lot of insisting they bother to take a compalint, but till date they are not bothered to sort it out. the techinical guy says no stb available in the city so wait. What do these people think they are doing us a big favour. Airtel has confirmed it is only good at advertising. Once they collect money for the product, they are not bothered. If you aren't capable of resolving the copmplaints then stop selling the products, atleast don't make these false claims of being the no.1 service provider in the country. I Have airtel DTH Connection bearing consumer number [protected] with Registered Mobile number [protected]. On dated my set top box gone faulty. It was frequently OFF. I lodged my complaint with call center no [protected] vide complaint number12263887 dated 27-09-11 and complaint number 12340879 dated 30-09-11. On dated I recieved my settop box, but the set Top Box delivered to me is faulty. It is frequently on /off while watching TV. My complaint is already 05-day old and I have paid Rs. 100.00 to Engineer for Repair purpose. On dated 01-10-11 when contacted to call center I was again given complaint number 12368663. Every time after complaint I have been given a mobile number for contact purpose [protected] which is always swithced off. This is the height of harrassment to the subscriber. As I am harrassed by not providing the services and payment have been made and further my Validity is also deducting. It is hereby submitted that I may be compensated for the complained period.

Airtel — Never takes customer complaints seriously

I had recharged my airtel prepaid card [protected] with a Rs 95 sms pack and despite of that Airtel was deducting amount from the main talk time account. I called the customer service number but every time they would just say that the complain is registered and it will be rectified soon, however it is not been rectified to date. This is the second time i ma facing this error please look into it asap.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Very very poor Service

I had given a request to update my Normal Digital TV's STB ([protected]) to "HD STB". Request was raised on 04/11/2011 morning. Customer care said Engineer will come on same day evening and replace it.

But without any resolution the complaint got closed. Again I called to Customer care they gave 4 dues till 07/11/2011. But nothing happened. Then on 07/11/2011 one representative said " Complaint got closed and I have to raise a new one"( till now no one told me this).

So I raised a request once again and I received a complaint number with Local service center mobile number(Tripur-[protected]). When I called them, they They asked me to come to his office and collect the new DTH by submitting the Old one( For this why should you have a Customer care?). I got frustrated by this.

I hate the service provided by Airtel Digital TV. I am planning to change my service provider if it is not resolved within one more day.

Airtel DTH — Called many times but no response

I have taken new Airtel DTH Connection on 21-04-12, through sales excutive Mr Rohit and that time manager also talk to manager at that time, and after discussion i have paid amount and then confirm me that i will get connection with in 24hr but today after 5 days also no responses, i call many time to airtel customer care on talk to Mr Rohit, Mr Rao, Mr Avinash , Mr Jagdish , ms Priya, Ms Pratibha, they do not give proper responses, and they are disconnecting my call, so I am fedup calling.

Airtel must see, what they are doing. They are spoiling their image which will lead them to loose their business as well. I am also one of the person who is suffering from the harassment of Airtel DTH services.

I recharged my DTH last week, since that day my DTH has never worked. Whenever I called Customer Care to lodge compliant, Customer Care says that their System is down or it is upgrading, they never answer you properly, they keep call on hold for several minutes. The day from where, I am facing problem, no single Engineer has visited my place.

I would say, Airtel is a worst service provided. I would suggest you all, better to switch Tata sky or Dish TV...

Sir I { Manajit Kalaskar } have been using your mobile service from last four years.{ Mob. No.- [protected] }
I was using airtel Friends plan was happy with it then I requested retailer to recharge for call rate reduction (i.e. 40paisa local 60 paisa STD ) but by mistake he recharged for Per second billing, because of this my friends plan got changed but it happened without any prior intimation.
Latter on I called customer care for resolving this issue but they told me that I can't restored my friends plan. Then I went to Airtel service center but all was waste.
This really pathetic service & customer care from airtel.
