hi all,
I've applied for 3 times to have an airtel broadband connection and got calls from [protected]. While every time the tele caller executive told me that she wud give my contact details to the concerned sales executive, surprisingly enough i never got any of the call.
Last day i.e.[protected] i again got the call from same number,and this time the caller introduced herself as Ms. Bharti, and when i told that i've already done these formalities_giving mibile no, address, email id, name_on web site, she affirmed me that within 24hrs things wud be ok.
I also checked through airtel website that my present residential address is under their coverage area.
I just wanna know, if airtel can't provide me broadband then i started expliring others like sify,mtnl etc...

i had applied for a new connection of airtel broadband about 20 days ago and an executive named ubaid came to my home ad took my documents but i didnt gave me any reply for a week then one day some wiring man came and wired the connection and told me that some technical people would come and start up my connection then i called up ubaid and told him about that he told me that he was not well and gave me the contact number of mr mukesh patel his team leader he told me that it would take barely a day or two now it has been almost 10 days they both are not picking up my call when i went to the airtel office those people told me to contact them but they are not replying can anyone please tell me what to do
i am book airtel broadband 11/06/2009 from no. 1764563 receipt no. 711685 amount cash ad. 2100 ph. [protected] [protected]

i have been subscribing to your website for the past 15 days and given the name,my phone number and all the details but none of your customer care has given the response in regard to the new airtel broadband conenction so please inform the customer care to give response to the customers who have subscribed

I applied for a new Airtel Broadband connection on 25-Apr-2010. Enrollment SEY No. HY246596. Installation charges was collected from me. All documents were provided and formalities finished. Verfication call was duely attended by me. Waited and waited but go no call from anyone. Called on the same number from where i got the verification request, said everthing is fine, he will get back to me. In vain. Called on representative's number, he said that application is denied. I said DP is in front of my house. He said "Its still not possible" without explaining anything and spoke rudely to me in return ?? I was confused. I asked about my money. He said that a cheque will be sent after 15 days?? I asked why so late, application says it will take only 7 days to take action. He did not reply anything. Till date 13-Apr-2010 (18 days) not heard from anyone about the denial of connection or a cheque. If connection was not possible, why keeping my money for so much time?

I guess this is called taking someone's money, cheating and not returning back.

Airtel Broadband — Regarding new connection

At that time the Airtel Representative told me that I will get connection with in 2-3 days but when I doesn't got connection I called him again then I got a reply that It will take 2 to 3 days more. Now its more than 25 days still i haven't got the connection.

AirTel — Airtel Broadband New connection

Hi Sir,

I have given money to Airtel executive on 12th November, 2010. Airtel broadbond application number 183199. He promised that, on 15th Nov, you will receive a connection. I called on 16th Nov to Airtel helpline, they said the application has not been updated in database. They again updated next 3days i.e., 19th Nov, 2010. I was calling daily to airtel help line. Please take an high priority.

This is Chandrashekar from the below mentioned address, I have requested for a broadband connection from Airtel, Agent name called Ravi Kumar has took all documents on 16th Dec, 2010 and he said form will be logged in immediately and connection will be installed on 20th Dec, but later when I called he responded there is some line issue and it will take 1 more day, but till now there is no response, kindly look into this issue and fix it ASAP.

Airtel Broadband — Airtel Broadband New Connection

To whomsoever it may concern

One of my friend told that Airtel is giving good service and that makes me to think for a connection in the place of BSNL. I have made my booking July 14,2011 and was promised that i will be getting the connection by 25th July. But till today I have not get the connection. All the cable and wiring works have been completed in couple of days yet no connection. Your representative Mr. Rahman (his contact number: [protected]) had interacted with me in the beginning and my attempt to contact him was failure for the past 3 weeks. Then I was able to reach Mr. Ashok ( contact number :[protected]) and he updated me with a story for allotment of phone number and he promised me that the connection will be given before the end of August 06,2011. August 08,2011 has been reached and I have not get my connection nor a courtesy call from your representative for the delay.


Give me an answer to my simple question. ARE YOU GOING TO GIVE THE CONNECTION TO ME OR NOT? I do not want to hear any more stories. Hope you understand what I mean. Is this the way you are giving new connection. After paying the amount for the connection, you are expecting that the customer should beg for the connection?

Just giving some acknowledgement will not resolve.You have to interact with the person who works on the issues.

Today an interesting thing happend. My complaint reference number 2418056 has been closed because as per the message which you sent to me that the issue has been resolved. I do not know which issue he refers. If he refers about the new connection to my home, it is not completed and I did not get the connection yet.

When I spoke to your representative Mr.Manikandan[protected], he updated me that he cannot assure when he could give the conenction and reason he mentions as "techincal back end problem". he said he cannot resolve the issue and he will repay the amount.

Now tell me, what is the action you had taken for the past 10 days. As per your mail, it is noting the complaint... and will not do any action. Is this your motto

What your addressing here is complete non sense. If my number is not reachable how in world your customer care executives are calling me. Even last week from your appellate office division called me. As you say if my number is not contactable how the communications are happening right now. Atleast cant you people check your database or past history of the customer before making such non sense claim????

Neither your people are resolving my issue nor accepting your failure to provide the connection to me. is there any intention for you people to give the connection or simply drag the issue...???

Airtel Broadband — NO NEW CONNECTION

i had booked a broadband and fixedline connection online on 4th october by paying rs.500 online through my debit card.The necessary documents were collected on the 6th from my house.Till 12th i got no response from your side so i registered a complaint with the customer care with complaint no.5551202..now the customer care are saying that they have no record of my transaction and coLlection of documents..my application no.is ONDELHI00004685 AND TRANSACTION NO.[protected].PLEASE DO HELP ME ....OR REFUND MY MONEY
Hi , I have subscribed for a new Airtel broadband connection on the 12th of March 2012 .. i was promised the connection within 3 working days .. it has been a week and the connection has still not been installed .. I have visited the Airtel consumer store several times over the last week. The Airtel Employees have been promising the connection everyday but no such luck yet .. Everyday the same response is provided that they would connect the connection by the end of the day but so far nobody has called or provided any response regarding the connection . I have wasted a lot of time and several calls regarding the same .. i was under the impression that Airtel had good customer support but it is pathetic these days .

I enquired with Airtel regarding a new Wi-Fi Broadband connection for my house. The service agent from Airtel says that the port in your building is full. You have to arrange for 3-4 people to install a new port at your building. Whn I enquired regarding this in customer care, they said the service agent cannot say this. We will look into this matter in priority. But have never heard again both from Airtel abd from it's service agent.
This is one of the very irritatating and stupid reason given by an Internet service provider. Never expected this from Airtel.

Kindly suggest, what else I can do.

    A request was given to activate a duplicate sim([protected]) to sector 35 chandigarh branch in morning at 10 am. But despite of repeated follow ups and calls the number is not activated even after 12 hours of the compliant. We have talked to Deepa, the concerned employee at [protected] but she was very rude and put all the blame on systems and disconnected the phone call without even bothering to reply back the customer properly.
    highly dissatisfied with the services of airtel.

      WORST POSSIBLE SERVICE

      I Vikas Choudhary resident of Bhilwara is using Airtel connection and my no. is [protected].I had requested the service provider for Do Not Disturb service on my mobile number to avoid disturbance from business promotors.

      I feel sorry to say that no action has been taken by Airtel against my request and I am being disturbed by SMS from TM-Ar_Se regularly. Inspite of my repeated request to Airtel to make arrangements to stop business promotional SMS or Call to my number no action has been taken.

      I beg your goodself to take action against Airtel the service provider and oblige.

      i was running this number [protected] from last 6 (six) years., suddenly from Saturday 08.05.2010 after 2 pm my incoming & outgoing facility terminated, i rush to the digital electronics(local air tel distributor), they all misguide me for 2-3 hours and at last 8.30 they told me that u must submitted your id proof with us by Saturday, now its not possible to continue this mobile number service, i present my id proof and address proof with original documents, but all is vain,

        The blackberry id "raj.[protected]@airtel.blackberry.com" was allocated to me when I took my connection with Airtel. Airtel allocated this id to someone else while I was still using your service. Somebody has manipulated my overseas clients and duped them for USD 50,000.00 by sending an email from my black berry id. The money was transferred using Western Union. My clients are seeking compensation for the money lost. I have since then disconnected my service with airtel as they are not taking any responsibility. my number at that point was [protected]. please help!!

        I have been a customer of Airel since 2005. According to Airtel record my ststus is "platinum". My average biling per month Airtel has been around 35,000.

Airtel allocated this id to someone else while I was still using your service.         Airtel has become one of the worst Indian companies. I was also a customer of Airtel Mobile/Broband/DTH, and the service offerings are getting worse each day. In US this company would having been paying fines to the customers because of the services and the way they respond.

        For Blackberrry services they charge a good amount compared to AIRCEL and RELIANCE. I too have disconnected BB services from Airtel.

        My Rated for Airtel: WORST. They dupe people.

        This Rajsharma is a fraudster that Australian Tax office and Federal police are chasing for having stolen close to 30 million AUD from large number of investors through a scam operated by him and an accountant called Nancy Keep. He has laundered that money into overseas banks through fake commodity trading.

        He ran away from Australia and lived in Bangalore for sometime. Ex employee of Infosys. He has ruined lives of many people back in Melbourne

        He essentially ran a Ponzi scheme and took away large amounts of money over 8 years of time. If anyone knows his whereabouts in India or in UAE, please contact ASIC or ATO using their website links.

        We also believe that he has tried to run many businesses to dupe investors in India

          I HAD PURCHASED AIRTEL DTH SERVICES ON 25/10/2009 VIDE ONE OF THE DEALER (MR.VINEET) . THIS CONTACT WAS OBTAINED FROM AIRTEL DTH SITE. WE PAID HIM RS.3510/- BY CASH FOR THE ONE YEAR PACK ALONG WITH MUSIC PACK .WE PREFERRED AIRTEL TO OTHER DTH AS AIRTEL HAD WORLD SPACE WHICH HAS STOPPED WORKING NOW.AFTER A MONTH WE RECD A CALL SAYING YOUR BALANCE IS NEGATIVE PL REFILL.TWO DAYS I WAS BEHIND THE DEALER & VARIOUS AIRTEL OFFICES & NOS WASTING MY TIME & MONEY TO TELL THAT I HAVE PAID FOR A YEAR. AFTER ASSURANCE FROM THE DEALER THAT HE WILL LOOK INTO THE MATTER AFTER 3-4 DAYS THE CONNECTION WAS REVIVED.THE DEALER TOLD US TO IGNORE NEGATIVE BALANCE MESSAGES .TODAY IN THE MORNING I RECD A CALL SAYING THAT MY BAL IS NEGATIVE.THE SAME HISTORY WAS TOLD TO HIM ,BUT HE TOLD US THAT REFILLING WAS FOR 5 MONTHS ONLY.AFTER THAT TILL NOW MY WIFE & SON HAVE BEEN CONTACTING VARIOUS AIRTEL PERSONNELS WHO ARE GIVING THE SAME ANSWER & ASKING FOR DEALERS DETAILS.I HAVE ONLY HIS MOBILE NO ([protected]) WHICH IS SWITCHED OFF.AFTER VARIOUS FOLLOW UPS WITH NODAL OFFICER ,WE HAVE RECD A MAIL YESTERDAY REFUSING THAT I HAD PAID RS. 3510/- & THAT ONLY RS.1750/- WAS RECD BY THEM.             Delay in the Airtel DTH connection.it has been now nearly 4 days , that i havent recieved any call from the engineer.


            Customer compliant number abruptly closed with a message " successfully resolved engineer related problem "


            Many time I have called to customer care, no proper response accept for one statement " Sorry maam , it will be done by today evening ".

            I have been hearing this past 4 days. very bad customer service response.

            I have complained many times through mail and call, its has been about one month I am facing problem but no body come to install .

              I am sorry to inform you that I m unhappy with the Broadband services provided to me by Airtel.
              I stay in Maruthi Nagar (BTM 1st stage).I always face frequent disconnection in my net connection.Most of the time it gets disconnected when am doing some important work.I have raised complaints regarding the same many times in the last 3 months. Everytime some rep. would walk into my place and say everything is working fine from your end and needs to check the box kept outside.I get the net working for some time and again the same issue.

              Even the customer care person do not know how to behave with the customers.Instead o[censored]nderstanding what the customers problem is they are more interested in 'Shouting at' the customer. Mr Bharath P is a classic example for this (Ref: Complaint No:[protected]/May 3rd).On May 1st I had raised the same complaint and was shocked to know on May 3rd that there was no such complaint logged (What a service !!!! )

              I want a permanent solution for the frequent disconnections that am facing.Hope I wont have to interact with people like Bharath P again.If this time I don't get a better service then I would have to look for some other better service providers.

                      I purchased a LG LCD last month with that I got Airtel digital TV activation kit. I called Airtel digital TV toll free number and got my customer ID [protected]. I also recharged my digital TV account with Rs440 North Pack and this was confirmed to me by the Airtel digital TV customer care executive.

                      Before, talking to the executive, I followed the IVR instructions, as per which, it asked for my “Activation Voucher” number. I entered that number and the IVR relayed the following information back to me after this I still kept calling the customer care number and when after almost 10 unsuccessful trials I got to speak with an executive, who told me that “your activation kit 16 digit numbers is already activated. However it is not reflecting in system”. They also confirmed that activation kit Sr no. [protected] is activated against my customer ID [protected]. Airtel digital TV customer care executive told me that they had already sent a mail to the concerned department to resolve the issue and activate the connection on high priority and that I will receive a call from them in the next 12 hours. This incident happened on the 28th of April and it is 2nd of May today, I haven’t received any call.

                      I have been following-up with Airtel, since long time now and every time I call Airtel, I am told the same thing that the Concerned Department will get back to me, but the concerned department has not got in touch with me till now. I am still waiting for the activation and installation.

                      Now, whenever I call the customer care number and explain the situation to the executives then they just put me on long hold or forward the call to somewhere else, and the call gets disconnect after some time and I don’t get to speak to anyone.

                      This has happened for more than 20 times and is really annoying. Please help me in getting the connection.

                            2. April 27,2010-I paid the money through internet on April 27,2010.
                            3. I recieved an e mail
                            4. I called the customer care the next day telling details of payment ,plan name etc and it was agreed that installation shall be on May 1,2010 at 11AM .
                            5. April 29 or 30 -I called (Ms Ruby sales advisor) on april 29 or 30 and asked for phone no of the person who will install the phone but that was not available on your computer as told by Ms Ruby sales advisor .
                            6. I have recieved a courier with activation and recharge cards
                            7. May 1,2010-I remained at home leaving all other important meetings but Nobody turned up on appointed date and time.
                            8. I called customer care and was informed that the name of plan is missing.I told him the name of plan.He asked for the numbers of my recharge vouchers but not my activation vouchers.I told him those.But nobody from your so called great telecom company cared to call me in all these days (April 27 to May 1 2010) if anything is missing. I asked for when installation shall be done, or whome shall I compain. The person put me on hold 4 to 5 times and then the phone was disconnected.
                            9. I again dialled a girl picked the phone who told me that the name of plan has still not been entered, and the servers were not working. I that was so how could she tell that the name of plan has not been entered.
                            10. I now want to know when will my digital tv be installed? What is the phone /Mobile no of person who will install the dish? What is the Phone Number of the person to whome I can send my complaint?
                            1. My Airtel digital Tv customer ID is [protected] installed at july, 2009 super value pack.
                            2. I have received a called from customer care during april, 10 regarding enquery of channel viewed by me and next day maximum paid channel loded in my package without my concent.
                            3. After few days of repeted calls to customer care I have made a written complaint to him then he disconnected the few of important channel already cover under vale pack also blocked with paid ones.
                            4. despite repeted calls my original vale pack services is not installed as yet.

                            kindly look into the matter and provide the all free and all those channel coved under value pack may restored at the earlist .

                              Strange as it may seem - I am fed up of Airtel Telemedia Services provided by the Varak Group in Mahalakhsmipuram, Bangalore.

                              As a partner in the firm I had subscribed to Airtel 4 Land lines and a DSL Modem. The Airtel group asked for an advance of INR 2000 for the 4 land lines and INR 1000 towards DSL Modem. I agreed on my part.

                              After the cheques were issues - they informed that there is no feasability in the place of my business and said that they will refund the amount I had invested with them as advance. I recieved INR 2000 cheque back - but am yet to recieve INR 1000 cheque from them. Its 3 months since I gave them these details ans have not seen sight of this.

                                i also agree with u. im a prepaid airtel subscriber. recently i was charged by airtel for"TAL2ME" services ie NADIRSHA EVENT no:5050515 through incoming call. i picked that call n i disconnected that call. after i received sms that Rs.15 have been charged. i didnt press any other button or * while on that call.

                                Beware everyone about thi airtel fraud!
                                Why am i being chargeed for my incoming calls in my Airtel prepaid connection??? the customer care executives are not equipped to handle this problem.Where do i go now? Frustrated!!!

                                  I am unfortunately a customer of Airtel digital tv and having quite bad experience with customer care executives and the service they give. I had call for 5 times for a single request and each time call will atleast last for 30 min and they just put me on the airtel music(put me on hold). Irrespective of holding such patience, they can not arrange for a engineer who can de-install the dish from my old flat and reinstall it on my new flat. both the flats are 10 min distant by car. No engineer appears on time its been 3 days its on.. still they say they will send the engineer tomorrow which is never ending I think. so, Dont get a airtel tv if you are often shifting!!believe me, you will end in frustration!!

                                  I am the "MOST MISFORTUNATE AIRTEL DIGI TV CUSTOMER IN THE WORLD " !! From where do i start ... it has been a nightmare from the day my relationship with AIRTEL began.. wether it is teleco, broadband or DTH .. I think "AIRtel" leaves it all to the AIR to tell the customer how to find a solution to their problems.. I dont even understand why do you guys have a CUSTOMER CARE.. It should be called.. CUSTOMER ??... WHO CARES ???... OR CUSTOMER... I DONT CARE !!...

                                  For a company who has been scaling up the BRANDING activity & the promoting FOOLISH Promises like recording soaps for the arrogant wife..its high time they start getting their BASICS right..

                                  My issue is as simple as the spelling of AIRTEL.. i have shifted from Chennai to bangalore & i want someone to come & REINSTALL my AIRTEL digital TV.. You first need to call your so called CALL (or DO NOT CALL ) centre & listen to your boring AIRTEL music which blares away like a crow in your ears for a minimum of 30 minutes for each call.. then you WARN the customer that YOU WILL RECORD THE CALL..& suddenly..everyone forgets to pick up the call..i think they get too tired everyday by PLAYING THE LOUD MUSIC & go off to SLEEP when a customer calls..This is my second week in Bangalore & you guys dont seem to care.. I HAVE A GREAT IDEA.. I will drag you to court & make sure YOU BECOME A NATIONAL SHAME .. I expect immediate revert on my complaint from AIRTEL's end & want my connection to be reinstated with immediate effect before 12 noon.

                                    I have been using Airtel Postpaid for the past 3 years or so. An excellent product but poorest customer service.

                                    I wanted to change my Mobile number for personal reasons and approached the Customer care, who told the process will be completed in just 6 Hrs.
                                    So I went to Thrissur Airtel Office near HDFC Bank and gave a written request with the new number and the necessary amount for the process.
                                    The guy at the airtel office was telling that the process will be taking about Four days to complete. So I immediately contacted the customer care who told the process would not take more than 6 six hours not need to worry.
                                    Even after 24 hours the number did not change, what a hell is going on at airtel, the higher authorities are not aware of this incompetent staffs.
                                    Please act now or else you will be loosing a good amount of your customers to other Mobile companies.

                                    I need my number changed at the earliest .

                                    Airtel Postpaid — Poor and Negative Service

                                    I am a user of airtel for quite a few years. i had an issue of duplicate sim issue as i lost my no. on receiving my sim i was said that the no will be activated with a few hours. i waited for 56hrs yet no response.going back to the authorized dealer who issue the sim....they made me wait for 2hrs 30 mins not because they were busy working but they were busy with their personal stuff. finally i came to know that the entire issue was that they didn't forward my sim details. over that the people on desk state that the customer care people provide wrong information to customers of which they are not responsible. along with people over desk complain each other that they are sick of customers issue, couple of customers have come to there desk multiple times and have same issue..but their issues are not forwarded and they are repeatedly asked to fill up the same form again and again such an unprofessional environment carries

                                    Airtel Postpaid — POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

                                    I had new airtel connection activated on 22 jan 2008 and my no is [protected] since then netwok is only one point and complaint given to customer care 121 and they had given complaint no but no use.my complaint was not attended.hence i had appealed to apellate authority incharge of tamilnadu .No developments.
                                    AIRTEL is providing poor network poor customercare.I had used BSNL.AIRCELL,HUTCH,and also RELIANCE .Best operator in network and service is BSNL.IF AIRTEL WILL NOT RECTIFY MY PROBLEM I WILL BE SWITCHING OVER TO BSNL
                                    its the worst service provider i have ever come across in my entire life.From past 2 weels i m unable to make any calls .And if after trying for hours and hours the call gets connected it will get disconnected in few seconds with the amount deducted from your balance.Also the connectivity shows high & good on my phone inspite of that I am not able to get connected.When I try to call up customer care again it does not allow you or give you an option to talk to the representative.You can just browse to the 4th option or sometimes just keep selecting the language for ever.I even tried calling the other cell which was next to me & had a good connectivity it still shows error in connection for hours and hours.During an emergency this can prove fatal.I would advise everyone never go for airtel.Its very very annoying.Its better to switch to other service provider.

                                    Airtel Postpaid — providing poor service to customer

                                    hey, i have an airtel postpaid connection. and i have an data card postpaid connection.actually the problem is, my connection has been discontinue due to negative veryfication. This is done by the man coming to our ntpc dadri township by airtel moblile.he did't got our address .and he has been back to the office and cancelled our connection. And the next day he came to our township and got our home address and did all the adress verification correctly. and now 6 days have been passed my AIRTEL internet service is still is not working because of the mistake of the silly person sent by airtel to verify address.

                                    I THINK WAT DO I DO..? NOW
                                    all the mistake comitted by the airtel man nd our connection got disconnected, after the he got verification correctly.

So when i enquired with your office at Ahmedabad they informed me that i can contact any of your office in the state of karnataka and get a fresh sim by surrendering the present one . When i personally called on your office near R.T.O circle mangalore at about 7 15 P.M on 9 th january . the attitude of all the 3 lady staff who are at the service counter was discoutious . They bluntly refused to issue new sim without address proof even though i showed them my visiting card, pan card and also informed them that for address proof i will get a letter from the mangalore G.M of syndicate bank or the ration card copy of my brother who stays here followed by letter given by him . But all my efforts were invain . So now with heavy heart i have decided to surrender your sim and get from some other company . i just wanted to bring this to your notice as i felt that this is the fate of a top executive of a bank and what will happen to the common man .

                                    airtel/postpaid — Poor Customer Service

                                    [protected] is my mobile number. i have lodged a request to the airtel coustomer care to disconnect my line for my personal reason. 11th april onward i have been calling to do so; server updation cant be done was their constant reply. till 17th april their server was in updation and as per the request i cleared out my unbilled and outstanding worth of 4500/ on 20th. the same day a lady namely Uma called up and suggested me change of number (She suggested [protected]) and gave me the confirmation it will be activated in 48 hours.

                                    it never happend and again i called up the customer care and they said they will escalate my request and gave me the reference number 27265548. i even said if my request is not yet attended i will never even pay a single pie as my bill for the bill to come.

                                    then a rep called up and said your new number is active, i asked him back when you dialled my old number [protected] and now speaking to me, how could be my other number will be active? it rang bell only then he told me back, sir you asked to change the same number sir by scraching his head i guess. he dropped the phone uttering many sorrys.

                                    yesterday (4th may) agian i called up to the customer care Ms Bhuvaneswari picked up and she is asking me to go the show room with out even acknowledge the mistakes from their side. she says your new number is not active and you have to go the show room.

                                    stil my request is not attended.

                                    i am filing a case against this careless Airtel customer care in Consumer forum for causing mental disturbance and inconveience caused under all the article number possible.

                                    let them go to any court and let me see them there...
