Hi,

I am Ajay Sathe and my no. is [protected].

I am really dissappointed with Airtel. I am using Airtel Friend's sim card since last 5 years. I am using this card since my college days. Now I am working in a MNC. Though I get many cheap and attractive Corporate Plans from many operators in my company, I never changed my sim card because I wanted my phone number and Friends Plan to stay continued. But, today I feel like changing my plan.
Usually, I recharge my mobile with Rs.120, Rs.75 and Rs.60 vouchers. Today, I recharged my mobile with Rs.75 from Internet Banking and I found that my Airtel Friends Plan has changed to Normal Airtel Plan. I called up customer care and I was told that Rs. 75 wala recharge has changed my plan. The person from customer care gently said me that- "This change in Rs.75 recharge has taken place 8 days back and you should be knowing this." Now how would I know this without any intimation from Airtel? When I told him that I m doing this recharge since last many years and how can this change be done so suddenly, he suggested me that from next time, before doing recharge, I should call up the customer care to confirm about what recharge I am doing every time. He told me that now my plan cannot be changed back to my previous plan.
How can Airtel make such changes suddenly without any intimation to the customer? Or are these tactics used to kick out their Airtel Friend's customers?
I want to get my previous plan back or now I will switch onto some other operator. I know this wont make any difference to the Airtel, but I dont want to be with such a operator who are so irresponsible to their customers. And in addition to this, switching onto other operation will atleast give me some intelligent custormer care where I will get correct information everytime I call them. As far as my experience, Airtel has summoned the team of most irresponsible and fool customer care executives who dont have any proper and correct information to give to their customers. And on the top, they charge the customer 50 Paise/3 minutes for talking with their stupid customer care executives.

Please suggest me what can I do now?

Airtel — regarding friend card

i had taken friends card no. [protected] and activated two numbers in it in friends card.its already one month i still have not been able to use friends number at 10 paise pre minute. this is just waste taking friends connection and then not getting the facilities. hope the concerned authorities do something on this, thanking you.

Airtel — not forming group in friends card

Airtel is not forming a group in my friends card. It just says 'application busy, please try after some time'. Then why to give such schemes which they could not handle??
From many days my gprs is also not working.
when i send sms GPRSACT to 511 reply comes as 'service activation failed. please try after some time.' At least forming a group in friends card would be easy i think...
Also relationship centres cant give good services and talking rather rudely..

subject: regarding bad network

I hereby telling you bring your attention towards customers of Devrukh, tal - Sangameshwar, District Ratnagiri.
From lot of days we are facing a serious network problem.
the calls we do get cut in between suddenly.
many times our money gets wasted in frequent calls as we can't convey our message to whom we are calling and before the talk finishes the call ends automatically. In the evening the problem increses very much.
For incoming calls the calling person can listen our voice but we can't listen the callers voice properly and has to tell the caller to speak loudly even though there is no problem in his cellphone.

The another complaint is regarding the GPRS service.
the speed that we get is very low(in bytes per second) for pc/laptop connectivity. On phone the downloads are too slow.
we frequently receive messages o[censored]pgrading of services of airtel but it is not hyappening in realty.
I'm the user of airtel since three years. but this year the problem is at its peak level.
the other network operators are providing the smooth network, better services, and problem free GPRS service. But airtel is lagging here.
If the proper recovery of the network is done then the airtel can glow as the sun over our area.

Hope so airtel will at least once go through the problem and take proper steps as soon as possible.

Airtel — to retrieve old plan

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have gujarat airtel number. I did recharge Rs.96 for getting the plan of A-A 50 STD also. I want to cancel this plan. what is the procedure. kindly let me know
Yesterday, I received a call from Customer Care. Person's name was Akhilesh. He told me that they will try to help me and by 30th of April, 2010, I'll come to know that whether my plan has been changed back or not.
The problem that I am facing is only because of Airtel's sudden change in Rs.75 recharge. And the change was not intimated to the customers. I even checked the Airtel's website. But, there also no updates has been done for Rs. 75 wala recharge. As there was not any mistake from my end, I am expecting a positive action from Airtel in my favour.
I request Airtel to change back my plan and allow me to write something good about Airtel, in my next comment on this website

I am very much dissappointed wih AirTel.I am using my simcard since 3 years.my plan was 150 free sms /day, 50paise/min but know AirTel has changed my plan to 1rs/sms, pulse without any intimation.i called up customer care .The person from customer care named Rajesh said that its because of technical problem it will be solved within 24hrs i waited for 2 days but no change.I again called customer care a girl from customer care said me that now my plan cannot be changed back to my previous plan.
How can Airtel make such changes suddenly without giving any information to the customer?
I want to get my previous plan back or now I will switch onto some other operator. i know it wont makes any difference to AirTel, but I dont want to be with such a operator who are so irresponsible to their customers.switching onto other operator will atleast give me some good custormer care where I will get correct information. very true there should be some forum to complaint for these kind of harassments.airtel customer service is extremely bad and irritating.when we call we have to go through the entire process of options several times, then we are kept on hold to talk to the customer care executive in 50 paise per three mins.which is never ending, we still wait and then the line gets disconnected.This happens every time you call for help and information.
Every customer has own complaints with every operator, airtel had charged unnecessary to customer by activating many VAS services. But after many customer ported them to other operator airtel seems to ok now. customer care facility they make enable disable every time that's frustrates.

I think 4 rs recharge make ur card friends again. check it.

I am using airtel Friends card from last 08 years, same thing happened with me without any intimation my plan has been changed to per second plan also i m not getting benefits of my friends group calling.

Very unsatisfactory behavior from airtel. Their customer care service is not working for customers the customer care executives are working for the company airtel. they do not give correct answers related to solve your problem.

If this is happening with so many people from india it is better to switch to smoe other mobile operator, many are available in market why to stick with AIRTEL then.

    My self Vikrant Swaroop, I m using Airtel DTH services from last 2 years

    Now my concern is that i have make a request to customer care on 15.04.2010 for shifting of my connection from Gurgaon(Haryana) to Ahmedabad (Gujarat)

    My Customer ID is [protected]

    My Complained ID is 2422112.

    But almost 4 days gone i have not received any output from air tel side

    and they are not giving proper reply on this regards
    and every day the amount is deductted from my account.

    kindly resolve this issue

          I have an airtel connection with addon. I have using the same connection from last 10 years, I have received call from AIR TEL NO :[protected] many times in a day using like misscall, today the 17th April 2010 i have received call from the same number at 4:48 eve and i told very rudely to donot call on this number and he is using absuing language.

          Now this is the complaint against Airtel company and there employee which is using bad language with me and my wife.

          Got a call from the same number 10 mins ago (21.4.2010, 11:15).
          In my case there was a woman on the line that talked Hindi, and when I asked for her to speak English - She hung up...
          Don't know what she wanted but she sounded really unfriendly.

            I had booked 1 Airtel Broadband service in the MO December 2009. Since then, I've hardly used it for more than 1 hr per day as the speed of the connection is as slow as a snail's pace. The connectivity is so slow that it takes more than 2 minutes to open up a complete webpage. As a result, I didn't use it for quite a number of days.But recently I received a bill for the MO February & March 2010 which amounts to around Rs 14,000 which is quite unbelievable as they claim to have given me a 50 % discounted rate on that amount. When I contacted them and asked them the reason for such a huge amount, they didn't pay any heed to my complaint and threatened me with legal consequences if I don't pay the bill on time . They also didn't bother to send me the itemised bill of the above mentioned amount, even though I repeatedly told them to do so.

            Hence I've decided to sue them and file a consumer harrassment case against them. Requesting you to kindly forward my case to Consumer forum.

            Airtel — Irregular discounts in billing

            IREGULAR DISCOUNTS IN BILLS if COMPLAINED TO AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE THAN WE WILL DO IT WITHIN DAYS BUT TILL NOW NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. THEY ARE CALLING & TELLING THAT PAY WITHIN HOURS OR WE WILL DISCONNECT THE CONNECTION.THIS IS FOR LAST FEW DAYS.

              I have received a message from the Airtel, to submit documents as required by the DOT for verification. I have received the message on 23.03.2010. I have visited my nearest Airtel relationship center vapi (gujarat) on 24.03.2010, I have given my identity proof, but they also asked my photo. I have resubmitted my application along with all my identity proof with my photograph on 25.03.2010. The people sitting at the Airtel relationship center informed that, my documents will send today and mobile will start functioning from 29.03.2010. Mean while my incoming and outgoing calls stopped from 25.03.2010. regarding this I asked why my incoming calls blocked, the staff's sitting at vapi Airtel relationship center informed that, they try to start incoming by to today evening. when on 29.03.2010 my incoming and outgoing calls was not activated I have visited the Vapi airtel relationship center, they are try to avoiding and saying that, they can't do nothing. The DOT people will do in your matter. I have contacted 3 - 4 times Vapi Airtel relationship center, but the staff's are not maintaining their relationship with their customer. I have called the customer care several times they are advising to meet the vapi airtel relationship center. Till date they are not responding to my complaint nor giving attention.

              When the Relationship people can't do nothing in my matter, when talking to Airetel customer care they are informing to contact nearest Airetel office, When Airtel can't do nothng, why they are collected my documents. Why Airtel given mobile sim when they can't track my documents or status. To Whom I to contact, to who I pledge my complaint.

              What I do, I can't understand, as I am using only this mobile for the last five years.

              My out going and incoming calls are not working. I am not getting any Response from the Vapi airtel relationship center nor the Airtel customer care.

              Plz. help me to activate my mobile no at the earliest, as I am depending only this mobile no for my all contacts.

              Airtel — Not maintaining the privacy of my incoming & outgoing calls

              here i want to complain that Airtel Cellular Co.is not keeping a check on its Franchisees and DSA or Distributers of services as they r not following the strict rules regarding the disclosure of Billing details, Incoming & Outgoing numbers identity..
              as i m an Airtel Pre-paid Customer in Rourkela of Orissa, i m using the Number since last 3 yrs, although the sim is issued in the name of my spouse, but i own the sim & the number [protected].. but i have seen many a time that he asks the Office Staff to give the billing details and with those details my In-Laws and my spouse questions me about each numbers owners and the reason behind talking to them, like why i talked at that number, what was the discussions, wat is the relations between the person I talked and my parents or did i made any complains to them, they dont want me to talk more than a cuople of minutes with my mayka people..
              I m fed up with them as well AirTel Rourkela Office or Customer Service who give them the details etc..
              plz help me out or kindly made the airtel services (Rourkela or Its Head-Office or Customer..) to stop this torture to me or do whatever u think will be the best, to help me out.

                Hello Sir,

                I got a call some days before from +381.
                First time i received in morning around 2pm, but no one talked from other side.
                After a week again i received call at night around 11pm, but this time i didnt attended it as its quite different number. It may contain some threat.
                I informed about it to customer care, they replied "the call was not from our side & suggested me to have police complain".
                So i'm in panic to whom so complain.
                I would like to draw your attention, and trace out the number.

                Have you ever received a burst of missed calls from strange numbers in a short span of time? Such missed calls usually last for just one ring and it is strongly recommended that you DO NOT call these numbers back. This is an old scam that has resurfaced and we would like to warn our users against them.

                These are international premium-rate numbers (IPRN) and people who call them are charged hefty rates which are transferred to the attacker. The trick is known as the ‘Wangiri’ fraud. In Japanese, ‘Wangiri’ means ‘one ring and cut’ and it is believed that this scam originated in Japan.

                What is a premium number?
                Premium-rate numbers are typically known as toll numbers and their origin can be traced to several European countries. Telecom operators offer a limited number of premium numbers which are acquired by businesses. Callers are charged premium rates (higher than regular calling rates) when they dial such numbers and the revenue earned is then shared between the telecom operator and the owner of the number.

                Commercial establishments advertise these numbers for tech support, voting polls, competitions, directory inquiries, weather forecasts and more.

                How a Wangiri scam works?
                Once an attacker has acquired a premium-rate number he gives missed calls to thousands of cellphone numbers chosen randomly. Inadvertently, an unsuspecting victim calls the number back. An individual answers the call and tries to prolong the conversation under some pretext. All this while, the curious caller gets charged a large amount for the call. The rates range from Rs. 50 per minute to Rs. 200 per minute.

                The latest slew of attacks has arisen from numbers starting with a +92 or +381 code. This code belongs to numbers from Pakistan or Sibera but it is impossible to be sure as attackers could have used several masking techniques. Tracing the country of origin of such calls is a very difficult process and it can only be accomplished by law enforcement agencies. It is largely suspected that these calls do not originate in India. Hence, callers are charged international rates for calling these international premium-rate numbers.

                It is an ingenious way of stealing money off victims. Prepaid users will find their credit drastically reduced whereas postpaid users would only come to know of these charges once they view their monthly bill. The best course of action would be to simply ignore such suspicious missed calls and refrain from calling them back. Quick Heal Mobile Security users can also utilize the ‘Call Blocking’ feature to blacklist such numbers and prevent them from reaching the device.
                Same thing happened at my Airtel postpaid connection on 19 Jan 2015.

                Call established for 3 times.But I have not recevied yet..

                Solutions:
                Pleases add +381 to your mobile reject list.
                It will be better for you.

                My name is Punit shetty, I have been receiving calls from 4 different suspicious numbers since yesterday 1st call from[protected] at 12.52am, 2nd call from[protected] at 4.51am, 3rd call from[protected] at 6.22am and 4th call from[protected] at 12.31pm. I am just ignoring it

                Some lady pic this phone she talking about sexy story

                I researched about the ISD code +381 it was written that the number was from Serbia .

                I request all the people who are reading this complaint to not receive the call from all the numbers from +381.

                People who get the call don't receive it . It may be dangerous.

                Today[protected]at 10:27 pm a call from +381 on my mobile no. [protected] which seems to be fake. Company should take action against such arrogated no.

                Today I got the call from[protected] and when I take the call, one girl was another side and said I can't hear you please call back and phone got disconnected.

                i got messages in facebook from an account names namidha savidi then i got calls from +318 and then from +[protected] and then again from [protected]. i didnt hear anything when i got calls from first two numbers but the last number the audio was not clear but i heard something.. i dont think the last one is from that same person or it may be someone else nut its 12:45 so i got suspicious.. help me with this.. please

                  With above subject I used your company sim since 2 years. This is a prepaid Sim and had a currency of balance is Rs.206=00.
                  In January-2010, my sim was blocked the outgoing calls. Hence I requested through your customer care person. Register the complaint and rectification. But he says that, for rectification takes time of 7-10 days. I once again contacted after 15 days to your customer care person and he says that, I had submit the address proof and photo’s etc. My job is representative work and I cannot submit within one week time.
                  Hence it is requested to reactive of my sim. Kindly answer my queries
                  1) I had balance amount of Rs.206/- can it refundable. And transfer to another Airtel phone No.[protected]
                  2) I had not received any dead line to submit address etc through S.M.S., or corresponded from your end.
                  3) It is lack of your end only.
                  Hence once again requested for reactive my sim and do needful.

                      I am an airtel mobile customer, from the past few days i am recieving calls from airtel call centres, in such a manner that,
                      the cellphone rings for just a second and an unknown number appears on your screen and when you call back on suach an unknown number the service gets activated, weather you want it or not.

I complaint about my roaming issues and calling Airtel customer care for more than four days, my complaint wasn't resolved. Apparently, customer care stops receiving my calls.                       I also was suffered with 11 digit calls which started from 54321. I used to get 8-9 calls including missed call daily. I called to Airtel CC to stop these calls from with 54321 initials. They were not able to help and even had not any solution. I checked my all Airtel services. I found that Airtel Friends Chat service was enabled accidentally. These call was made by unknown Airtel friends group to top up their value in their cell. I stopped this service. After that I didn't get any call from 54321 numbers.

                      Yes, I was facing the same problem and stumbled across this solution and found that my Airtel Account has the friends chat activated. I had this deactivated by sending SMS to 121 (you can get the details in airtel website on how to deactivates VAS) and since then all these missed calls from numbers starting with 54321XXXXXXXX stopped.

                      Airtel provides a chat service to their customers, through this service people can make new friend across the India and can contact anyone without reveling their identity. In this process who ever want to chat with some one gets an ID from airtel and using that id he/she can call you or message you and their number will not get displayed. Instead, that id will be displayed to you. Your number might be registered on this service. So, all you need is to contact your customer care executive and asked them to remove your number from that service. Your number might be automatically registered if you have ever used mobile portability service.

                      Another tip to get rid from such problem is to activate DND service i.e DO NOT DISTURB. With this service you wont be able to get any call/sms from company i.e you might not receive offer messages from your service provider.

                        I am extremely dis-satisfied with the blackberry services as provided by Airtel. I requested for a new Blackberry plan and was advised that the most economical plan would be the 499 plan. On contacting the technical support help desk, I was advised that I should upgrade to the 899 plan, which I did. I was out of town for over two weeks, during which my phone was switched off. On returning back I received a huge bill, when I was clearly advised that the 899 plan would be limited to just that amount, 899.
                        As if the experience of being cheated by a service provider was'nt bad enough, than began the ordeal of "poor customer service". One would belive that the congolmerate that Airtel claims to be, would atleast be sensitive to the feelings of long and loyal customer of over 10 years. I contacted the help desk and raised a compliant. A customer rep with poor communication skills and zero customer service skills assured me that my complaint would be resolved in 48 hours. I patiently waited for a phone call, convincing myself that this was an error and could easily be rectfied. Not only did I not receive a call back, I received a message confirming that "my issue was now resolved". I called back the second time to register a complaint, to face the same "sheild of policy" issues. This time, after 24 hours I recieve a "voice of customer" survey asking me if I am satisfied with the resolution received to my complaint. No phone call, no inquiry on my complaint, yet they have the audacity to ask me to rate the quality of service received. Infuriated with the entire experience, I decide to contact their nodal officer. After a 15 min wait I am discoonected with an IVR message stating just how busy their officers are. One would think with the level of customer service provided, they should be putting in overtime! I finally managed to get a hold of an officer, "Tripti" who cannot be identified by any other form (emp code, etc) again due to the "policy sheild". I can honestly say that in all my years (over 10) of customer service i have never met another representative with such poor customer service skills. One would think that the front face of a company when dealing with complaints would be more understanding and honest. She made the unfortunate mistake of confirming that my 899 plan wa activated and deactivated at 5:15 pm on the day that i set up the BB services, the same thing that I have been stating and re-stating through the last week! She then tried a hasty recovery to cover up, to which I insisted that I will cancel my services and refuse to clear the bill, unless by some miracle/ hand of God, she can pull up the recording of my interaction with the agent on the said date and prove that I did not accept the agents offer for an 899 plan. I am still awaiting a resolution.One would think that a brand name like airtel would atleast have a forum for formal registration of complaints. However. post this ordeal I think they just dont care about the "Customer".

                            My prepaid balance is getting deducted for a services which I never activated.

                            When I called to airtel call center they debited back amount which has been deducted and told me that all services have been deactivate.

                            but after few days again I same thing happen.

                            After talking to nodal officer of airtel I got very poor response.

                            They are not ready to accept tihere mistake. They are saying that I have activated the services and thats why they are charging for that.

                            On one hand they are saying its not there fault and on other hand they debited back my balance.

                            I am planning to go in consumer court now.

                              We had requested Airtel on March 4, 2010 to cancel 2 out of the three lines we have under one Account

                              I have received my bill for the Month of march, dated Apr 04, 2010 for the period from Mar 02, 2010 to Apr 01, 2010, and could figure out that my request/ directions were not adhered to.

                              I therefore called their customer service department and spoke to Piyush. He told me that the request was received on Mar, 13, 2010 (whereas it was received on March 04, 2010), but the lines have still not been cancelled. Apparently, there was a retention call made, and someone at our office, as claimed by them now, and we had agreed to continue the service. This is totally incorrect and untrue. I Kunal Mehra, am the only one handling this office, and it is my mobile number that you have on the records for any correspondence. On hearing this preposterous lie, I asked that I get a Supervisor on the line.

                              I have just spoken to someone who is supposedly a Supervisor at the Airtel call centre, called Danish Siddiqui. This bloke did not at best have adequate English Speaking Skills to be on the phone leave alone become a Supervisor. I have no intentions to point out the ineffeciencies in their system or to tell Airtel how to recruit, but I am concerned about the service I have been provided. In whatever broken English I could fathom, I learnt that this guy had neither any intention nor did he have any capability to help me out, and simply was taught to tell the customers to write another e-mail to follow up.

                              If you want your cutomers to send you a mail for every follow up on a written request, your company too should have sent me an e-mail stating that you guys have managed to speak to us and retained the numbers, and thus have put a closure on the so generated request number for the intial request for the cancellation of two of the three landline numbers. It only goes to show how much of time is valued in Mr.Mittal's company.

                              Well the Bottom-line is, WE ARE NOT GOING TO PAY THE RENTAL FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH FOR THE TWO CONCERNED LINES AS THERE WAS NO RETENTION CALL

                              I will be forced to forward this complaint to the DoT, and the TRAI if this is not looked into and resolved in the next 7 business days. I will also be willing to send a copy of this to a well known daily national news paper, and of course have my lawyers take up in the consumer courts.

                              Airtel Landline services — Denial of Service - Airtel

                              Since 11th of Feb, 2008, I have a phone with no dial tone. Incoming calls, the phone rings, but there is no voice. The DSL works fine. The complaint number is 9413433. Whenever I call up customer care, they say that there is digging near Belandur and thus the cable is cut. This according to me is false information since without the loop being complete, the switch would not generate ring voltage. The DSL would not work either. Now Airtel is not willing to resolve the issue. Can somebody help me sue Airtel for denial of services though I have been a long time customer paying my bills on time.

                                I got a Post Paid SIM (SIM No [protected]) for data card from Indira Nagar Airtel Relationship Centre, Bangalore yesterday. The staff told me that the SIM will be activated today (16/04/2010) by 11:00 AM. Since, it was not activated, I contacted the customer care (both [protected] / [protected]). They told me that the number is not yet registered and asked me to wait for some more time.

                                I tried to contact the concerned Airtel Relationship Centre[protected], which was given by their staff yesterday for any query. The again told me that the number will be activated by 1:00 PM. That was also just for an eye wash.

                                Again I contacted them in the afternoon. However, when I contacted, the staff told me that he is dealing with only Blackberry and denied to tell any information (even the alternate contact person then disconnected). I tried to call several times after that, but they just lifted but did not speak at all.

                                I never expected that the Airtel customer care would do this, since it has a good name in the country. So far there was no solution.

                                These people speak so nicely when we go for get new services (Upto getting money). But after payment, they never do as they assured. I requested the customer complaints forum to publish this and take necessary actions, if possible.

                                  Airtel — Int roaming, incoming

                                  Hi, I have been a regular customer of airtel and had activated my int roaming after confirming from the airtel rep.(don't have the name) and the site airtel.in. The reps at irtel do not have any info on the int. roaming charges and nor do they know that their site does not give any info on te int. roaming incoming charges. After going through all of this when i call the airtel customer service, the voice recordin tells me that my unbilled amount is 14300 till the 13th of may. This is not done. I have payed all my bills in time and have had huge bill amounts in the past but this is too much. I also called the T-mobile customer care and they said that the incoming is free from their side and that i should check with airtel... but it was completely useless. Please help... I do not know what do or whome to talk to because no one seems to give me the right information and then will sit on my head for the bill.

                                  Airtel — Reduced call rates not functioning in roaming presently

                                  I'm ur airtel-chennai prepaid mobile customer. My mobile no.- [protected]. Most of my time i.e 95% time i'm in roaming. I've activated ur reduced call rates for roaming in 12-16 dec'09.During these days i've been to other states where i was enjoying with the reduced roaming rates till 23rd of jan'09; but i'm unable to enjoy the same. presently i'm in karnataka. Now i've make outgoing/incomming calls for 1.50/1.00 Rs./min.In earliar mail i've forgotten to mention my mobile no. sorry for that inconvience.

                                  Please do the needful at the earliest as most of the time i'm in roaming

                                  Incoming is not free.

                                  I have an airtel number which I use in US and some Euroean countries while travelling from India to US. Outgoing calls are Rs150 per min and incoming is Rs75 per min. If you send an sms, it will cost Rs25 per page, i.e., 160 characters. The only thing that is free is incoming sms. So, my advice is: don't use your phone for making or receiving calls, any call at all.

                                      I went in for a post paid to pre-paid conversion of my airtel number through the Airtel Relationship centre located at SV Road, Borivali (West) in Mumbai. I was made to go there 9 times to get the work done with utter negligence on the part of the executives sitting in that office simply saying that it is not possible to be done today, etc. sort of statments on a number of occasions when I went there. When it was finally done by giving the amount required to do so, I asked the executives that please check the forms for completeness so that I don't have to come once more begging for your services. My fear turned true when my services were blocked by Airtel without any warning call stating (through an SMS) that the pre-paid enrollment form hasn't been submitted. Without submitting the form, Iam sure my pre-paid services wouldn't have been activated. Though I went to the centre again and they simply said that nothing can be done and I'll have to re-fill the form with all the documents to be attached. I went back home, fetched the required documants and filled the form as I needed the number to be activated. The services started after a day and then suddenly again it has stopped with no incoming and outgoing call facility, that too without any warning call or anyhting. Just an SMS again stating that as per Govt. norms we haven't recieved your pre-paid enrollment form and hence discontinuing your services. I've lost faith in airtel and just wanted to keep my number active so went there 11 times for the same.
                                      In this course of time, I've lost a number of very important business calls, taken leaves from my office at least 7 times for half a day to get my work done. So in all, I've lost several thousand Rupees to go and beg at Airtel's door to get my work done without any concern being shown by the Airtel Employees.
                                      Suggestions, what to be done, anybody?

                                      airtel pre-paid — In-efficient service

                                      I have taken the connection 99804550 in january and I was told that all the verifications will be done within 5 days.
                                      No verification was done and suddenly one day in feb my out going was barred without informing me.
                                      When I called customer care I was informed that my documents were not received. I told I have submitted the documents.
                                      Then after two days out going calls were activated. Now after 5 days I got a address verification call and I was asked when will I be present at that address. As I was out of station I told that I will be available after 8th of march. Next day my no. was barred.
                                      Then on enquirey I was told that the verification was negative so it was blocked and the same no. can not be activated again. Even they didn't refund my Rs.300 which was balance in that sim when it was blocked.

                                      Airtel — Unwanted subscription service

                                      Please stop these unwanted charges immediately as I do not know how this service is added to my mobile no. [protected]

                                      Airtel — UNWANTED SUBSCRIPTION OF PAID SERVICE

                                      I am an Airtel mobile connection holder(Mobile No. [protected]). This service provider is being very unfare to me. Earlier it gave me an unnecessarey subscription to a paid service(sap actresses) which was removed only after a complaint in one of the forum.Now they have given me a paid subscription of BOLLYWOOD BUZZ without my authorisation and are deducting regularly for the same.This is an underhand practice which is not fit for an esteemed organisation like AIRTEL.                                       AirTel — Paid Services

                                      I have been using Airtel,since 2 years(approximately).I used to get some alert SMSs on my mobile.Since I did not subscribed to any services, I believed it is some free service provided by Airtel.
                                      I was never bothered to confirm If it Paid service or Money is being deducted from my Account,AS IT WAS NOT REQUIRED, I DID NOT ACTIVATE ANYTHING, THEN WHY SHOULD I CHECK FOR THAT.Later,I realized balance is getting reduced unnecessarily. When I contacted Airtel,I got to know that, there are around 5 paid services activated on my number.Then I asked them how?Reply was , few are activated by myself (I was Surprised to hear that. Without me Sending a message/call , Airtel claims that I activated it).And they said, Few are through some links in Internet.Again, I did not activated it through Internet even. If a third party can do it from Internet, then WHAT IS THE SECURITY AIRTEL IS PROVIDING?

                                      That is the past story. I complained about this many times.Talked to senior desk twice.(Customer Care Representative connecting my call to Senior desk is another story to narrate - many time they keep me on hold indefinitely saying they are connecting to senior desk.Somehow, calling customer care three or four times repeatedly, every time I manage to speak to the Senior Desk).

                                      Last time, a lady from Customerr care assured me, she will refund all the amount deducted from my account and Will assure that, NO SERVICES WILL BE ACTIVATED WITHOUT MY CONFIRMATION.I was happy and relieved thinking that my time is saved and money is safe.


                                      IT WAS MY FAULT to believe AIRTEL'S assurance.
                                      within days, I got another alert of some film actress. I deleted the message without replying for activation.
                                      next day onwards, getting messages as if I am subscribed to it.

                                      (Note: for all the services activated by Airtel, it happened the same way.Day1 I get message -If you want to subscribe, reply. Day 2 onwards I get alerts as if I am subscribed. BASICALLY, YOU DO NOT AHVE TO DO ANYTHING FOR A VALUE ADDED MESSAGE SERVICE TO ACTIVATE IN YOUR MOBILE.IT WILL GET ACTIVATED BY ITSELF.FUNNY..???).

                                      I AM FRUSTRTAED AND IRRITATED USING AIRTEL, ONLY BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE.
                                      (LAST COMPLAINT REF NO: CPPWC[protected] ).

                                      TO SUMMARIZE:
                                      1) PAID SERVICES GETTIGN ACTIVATED ON MY MOBILE WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE.
                                      2) I WANT TO KNOW HOW MUCH MONEY IS DEDUCTED IN THE PAST 2 YEARS FOR THIS.
                                      3)EVERY CALL TO CUSTOMER CARE IS CHARGED.

                                      I WANT FUND BACK(AMOUNT DEDUCTED FOR ALL THE SERVICES EXCEPT BALAJI SERVICE WHICH ACTIVATED MYSELF,CALL CHARGED FOR CUSTOEMR CARE INTERACTION AND A DECENT COMPENSATION FOR WASTING MY TIME AND FOR TEH FRUSTRAION INCURRED DUE TO THIS).

                                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                                        In last 2 months I got a Message twice in my mobile as -
                                        ""you have been renewed for bolly subscription serviec from Airtel. you have been charged Rs 10.""

                                        I've not activated any Subscription services from Airtel, and there is Info available to deactivate it. please Deactivate it as soon as possible, because unnecessarily i have been paying 20 rs from last 2 months

                                        In last 2 weeks I am getting Messages and updates of football scores in my mobile, Today i have another update message in which they have charged RS:3 for todays match.

                                        I've not activated any Subscription services from Airtel, and there is no Info available to deactivate it. please Deactivate it as soon as possible, because i have not activated any football match package and i have been paying my money for no reason.
