Hi Sir/Madam,
I have taken a Airtel Digital TV connection on 27th April 2010 from your DSA: Vriti Infocomm ( Agent Name: Ashish Contact No.[protected]) and paid a full amount of Rs. 3850 for Rest of India Mega Plan. After numerous request from the Airtel Customer Care, an executive finally came to install the setup box(STB ID-[protected] View Card No. [protected]) on 4th May 2010 but the reception was not there as they claimed that there was some server problem which will be resolved within 5 hours. After not receiving any reception for next 24 hours we logged a complaint in Airtel Office for which the service request reference no. was 2633780. Today that is on 7th May 1600 hrs I received a message from DTH247 which says that this particular request has been resolved. But by now that is by 2300 hrs my connection is not yet activated. When trying to contact Airtel customer care I have received some rude reply to all my problems. I have already talked to Mr. Eswar, Mr. Vijay Kumar Supervised by Mr. Arun Kumar (nandi durga road, bangalore official id -dthnodal.[protected]@airtel.in ) and many more customer care executives .All the time either my call was disconnected or the executive didn't provide any response. Please help me to lodge a complaint against Airtel in Consumer Court.

    I would like to bring to your notice that I am using the Airtel DTH. bearing customer id [protected]. I have logged a number of tickets on their call center number 12150.

    Ticket numbers:
    2630743, 2622752, 2491149.

    The problem with my set top box started when I plugged it on after 2 months, to check If I need to check the validity date. I saw it was not working and giving me error B002. I immediately called 12150 after few troubleshooting the Engineer reset my box to factory default and disconnected my call. Now I am in a helpless state, logging tickets after tickets with no action from Airtel End.

    If I call to 12150 and ask support representative to connect me to any responsible person in Airtel or provide me their manager contact number so as to check with him about negligence they will drop the call or put me to queue again to speak with another support representative and providing whole details again and again.

    Moreover I want an explanation from Airtel why they are deducting my account balance of Airtel DTH connection without rectifying the fault.

      I had changed my present Airtel DTH programmes package in March 2010(on my Airtel T.V. connection ID No[protected]) as per the latest broucher available with the dealer namely M/S Anjana Electronics,Pallavpuram,Meerut (Ph.No.[protected])which includes all channels of english news plus.But at that time when i wanted to see my package at home some chanells like cnbc tv 18 was not shown to me .I enquired the dealer how this channel is not comming.He complaint the matter to the distributer and after many discussions and negotiation between them, i have received all desired channel as per my opted package not informing me that it is only for one month.dealer has told me that airtell accept their mistake not sending latest list of channel broucher to the dealer.Now i came to know on 1.5.2010 that approx.Rs.38/- are debiting from my account for seprate english news chanelles.what is my fault .I opted package as per latest broucher available with the dealer/distributer at meerut at that time.Why airtel waived one month charges if they were not on fault. I also mailed my complaint at the adress of [protected]@airtel.in that If my complaint wil not get redressal in one week i will becon free to move consumer redressal court for the same.But they could not reply till date. In this matter I had also made registered three complaints on their customer care Tel Nos.[protected].complaint registration Nos are- 1.2589390 Dt.30.4.10,2.2604748 Dt.3.5.10, 3.2628028 Dt.6.5.10.But could not get redressal to my complaint till date.Kindly help me for the same thanks.

        This is related to deactivation of international roaming facilities in my mobile no. +91 [protected]. In this regard I already complained in airtel customer care for last seven days. Bur no action has been taken till date. For this reason I am unable to recharge rs 38 in my phone. My reference no. of complaining in airtel customer care are given belw. Please do something.

        Airtel — Roaming facilities

        I have applied for enabling roaming faciliy on my telephone no.[protected] on 09 January-2009 as the user was going to Australia on official visit. after necessary preocessing I was intimated that the facility was enabled. After reaching Australia it was found that the SIM was not working. I called Airtel executive Shri Dharmendra Jha[protected] on 18/1/09 about that and he assured me that It will be rectified soon.

        On monday(19/1/09), again Mr Dharmedra and Mr Manish[protected] of Airtel office, assured that there is some problem and it would be rectified soon(made 5-6 calls during the day).

        After several attempt somehow (as most of the time his phone is engaged and he never takes pain to call and inform the status))I got to talk to Mr Manish today (20/1/09)and the reply was same that they are still trying to make it work.
        Now half of the tour is over and I am still waiting.
        As I am not a technical man I do not know the correct terminology tobe used here. But I want to say in simple is that I have a prepaid internet connection which I accessing through bluetooth via my cell phone. I am living in Orissa. Whether I can access internet from other states while on roaming from the same cell phone?

          according to dealer they providing us their digital tv for rs 1800/- with 3 months free subscription of mega pack but after installing and payment they said that it is a mistake done by our dealer and they give us 3 months free subscription of economy pack for same charges. the name and address of that dealer is

            Past 1 moth my sim card rejected, i had use this card past 3 years now it self rejected before 3 weeks i ll inform and write the complaint letter to airtel office mettupalayam division, no responce to give the (new sim card),always told no sim card available ,i ill walking to 5 times to this office now i ill give the no to all my personal and official activities,so kindly arrange provide the sim card and take further action.

            Airtel prepaired card — No Response from Airtel

            I have a Air tel prepaired customer (No. [protected]), But Air tel is cutting ring back tone and education alert cost 30 + 10 Rs resly for 10 days.
            Above sevices activated without any demanded from me.
            Air tel 121 service is problematic not responding/ connecting.
            This is happening form last 3 months.
            I wants my money back.

              Dear Sir,
              I am Vinod Prajapati existing costumer of Airtel Digital TV my
              costumer Id. Is [protected]and my register mobile No. is [protected]/
              [protected] I purchase your set top box on 03 JULY 2009. I make my
              house
              G +1so I re-installed my set pot box with service engineer. But my
              problem not resolved yet compay service engineer told me your set top
              box is not working and we have to repair it or troubleshoot it, and he
              tell me we will come in half an hour but no one come yet it passes 15
              days. And when I talk to costumer care executive he give me a
              complain no. 57573891, and one thing that your service engineer and
              costumer care executive they are only giving the assurance to our
              costumer not services they are not cooperative.
              I am so tired to forward reminder to them and I thing I have to move over other services provider, I am forwarding daily one email to this
              [protected]@airtel.in but no any one reply me.
              sir I am also request them, to please send the charges applicable for the
              replacement / repair of our set top box because if the charges
              affordable to me. So I purchase it from you other wise I didn't want
              to purchase it and I am not a rich person to purchase new connection
              in every sixth months. And not REPEAT AGAIN A BIG MISTAKE.
              Please do needful action as well as Possible.
              This is really frustrating and extremely painful that such a
              prestigious brand is spoiling its own name. I do not know when they
              are going to resolve my problem and how many times I need to follow
              up with them. I hope this nightmare ends soon and I do not have to
              repent more. I will not suggest any people to buy this worst DTH
              service.

              SUGGEST A WAY TO HAVE THESE PEOPLE TAKE MY ISSUE SERIOUSLY.

              My ID No.[protected], i have called two or three times with ref No. 23886852 wherein i was communicate that a engineer will come to your home to resolve the issue & after resolving it share the code no. no body comes till date to solve the issue. thereafter i also call & i was assured that your complaint will be solved within 4 hours. no reference no issued neither any body comes to solve the problems even after a period of 4 day. finally requested again to resolve within 3days otherwise forced to take legal action

                I was transferred from Chennai to Pune 20 days back and since then I have been trying to get the Dish TV installed. I had lodged a ticket to get the dish uninstalled in chennai and installed in pune. No one came to uninstall in Chennai and no one has come to install in pune. AND ON TOP OF IT, THEY ARE REDUCING MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT AS DAILY RENTAL WITHOUT ME USING THE SERVICES. MY BALANCE HAS GONE DOWN BY 300 RS IN THE LAST ONE MONTH. NOW THEY WANT ME TO PUT MORE INTO IT - AND STILL NO ONE HAS COME TO INSTALL IT. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

I told him that the insentive amount has not been received by me then he asked me to send certain massages at airtel live. As informed I have done it and after that I have been asked to deleate all massages. I have done that also. I found that appx. 1800/= Rs. Has been deducted from my flaxy amount.

                      My Airtel Mobile No[protected] which has been converted from post paid to prepaid through your Airtel Relationship Centre Cambel Communication, Patna Complex, Gill Road, Adajacent Kiran Hospital, Near Janta Nagar Chowk, Ludhiana on dated[protected].It was converted successfully after submitted all the required documents. It was working very well. I have changed my tariff plan by recharged with Rs 36 on dated[protected].On dated[protected] I have recharged by Rs 100.But on dated[protected] after noon my outgoing calls barred without any warning or information. I approach to customer care 121; they told me due to your doc. are incomplete outgoing calls barred. On dated[protected], my sim shows as invalid sim. I again contact to customer care through mail, they reply to me due to Negative verification dated on 25/04/2010 deactivated your no & also told to me to submit all the doc. to nearest Airtel Relationship Centre. As per your requirement I resubmitted all the doc. required by you to your Airtel Relationship Centre Cambel Communication on dated[protected]. I have request so many times to your coustomer care & Airtel Relationship Centre Cambel Communication to reactivate of my Mobile No. But on dated[protected] I again visit to your Airtel Relationship Centre Cambel Communication to know about my current status, they again told to me to re-submit the ID-Proof.

                      Airtel Prepaid — without information sim barred

                      i purchased a airtel prepaid [protected] at pudupattinam, kancheepuram dt on 10 09 2008. At that time my photo id and ration card copy was submitted and after that only i got the sim.But after 20 th of october suddenly the airtel sim was blocked by AIRTEL network.When ever touch with customercare of airtel saying the word no address proof for the sim. THE distributor no. is PP 224 PUDUPATTINAM KANCHEEPURAM DT TAMILNADU.TAKE NECESSARY ACTION TO ACTIVATE THE SIM AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.THANKING YOU. MOHAN.G KALPAKKAM 603 102

                      i have taken a prepaid airtel connection one month back.But presently it is not deactivated.
                      my number is [protected]. Within two days i had submitted all the required papers before activation. when i asked the airtel customer care for reason he told me that at the time of confirmation of my id details the mobile was switched off.

                      And as per their request i resubmitted the copy of my ID proof and passport size photo. It has been two days since my resubmission of ID proofs but till now my phone is not acitvated.

                      Therefore, Please do the needful to get my number activated as soon as possible. Otherwise i will be prompted to switch to some other mobile subscribers.
                      i m not able to make any call even on custmer care
                      i'm also having similar problem.My number got barred and these airtel guys are not activating it even though i resubmitted proof.

                      Airtel Prepaid SIM — complaint against barred call and negative status

                      i bought a airtel prepaid sim from a trader sarvodaya communication at the rate of 33/- and then activate two times for 30/- and then recharge it for 150/- bt company barred my sim without any reason. then i go to find the reason , bt there is more non cooperative staff and hopeless airtel service system. Then tell me ur status is negative and ur sim never be activate. Then i go to my distributor bt his computer says that ur status is ok . Plz tell me why my sim is bolocked and where is my money can i get it or u did hajam my heard earned money. I[censored] have a little bit of self respect plz active my sim i[censored] want my identification i m ready for it bt plz activate my sim my No. is [protected]

                      I am Md. Aftab Uddin, Assistant Manager NABARD, Chandigarh had purchased a prepaid SIM from Chandigarh sec-35c. The no. is [protected]. But after 3-4 days the said no had been blocked.I have submitted requisite documents three times, two times at retailer and one time at Airtel showroom near sec35 A chandigarh.                         I am using Air tel mobile connection number is [protected] from the year 2005. On 5th onwards it is displaying SIM not registered. Then I approach the Air-tel Relationship center in Kakinada and take a new SIM on submit my proof and 25 rupees payment and they told it will activate after 4 hours. After 5 hrs again I approached the center and asked to activate. Again they gave new Sim instead of old Sim and told now it will activate after 1 hour. But till today morning itself its not activate.

                        On 6th morning I went to Relationship center and asked them my number has not activate. They have told this number has not activate, it has freeze. I also approached the customer care so many times in these two days, But they are telling only it has to activate in your town.

                        This is too much. I am mentally worried for the last two days without working my number.

                        Kindly activate my number as soon as possible.

                          sir,
                          i have been given broadband connection value combo599 on 16.3 2010 saying that there are only two offers right now ccombo599 ie 128kbps and combo499 64kbps ,i accepted for value combo599 as this more speed .your representative told me that if pay Rs3000 u would get one month free acess .Now i have paid Rs 3000 as 6 months rent .the speed is very very slow i am not able to open one website easily .i thought of downloading a 45 minutes movie it took me 3 days .it is really shame .my phone number is [protected] my contact number [protected] email id [protected]@rediffmail.com

                          I recevied a mail from your company and i was shocked to see that there are hundreds of offers for broadband .i called up to same representative and i told him that i have received a mail from ur company and there are so many offers than why did you insist me to go for value combo599 .then he said that day they had only 2 offers .so i had to give ,Now he says he cannot change or migrate the same offer for 6 months .i have seen one offer in your mail ie combo499 1mbps please help me out to change my plan.
                          It is really a shame that the person who spoke to me regarding the plans, he too says they had only 2 plans on the day i opted ie combo599 128kbps combo499 64kbps within a week i received a mail, there were plenty of different types of plan .whom shall i trust .only 2 plans for mysore city on that particular day that was on march 8th 2010 .than why the hell they send me a mail with 100's of plans .this is totaly cheating with the consumer, i[censored] dont change my plan i would go to consumer court.

                            I had recharge my mobile no + 91-[protected] whose service provider is BHARTI AIRTEL on date with Rs 50 & trans id [protected] on date 21/4/2010 at 9:30 PM for message pack but still 15 days passed this recharge is not activate on my no i complain customer care several times fot this but they did not give me any satisfactory ans my complain no are as follows-

                            complain no 2:[protected]
                            against this two complain i did not get any responce from AIRTEL officers then i call NODAL OFFICER named Mr RAMESH and Mr VISHAL for this but they did not give me any satisfactory answer as im i continously give follow up to they they also REGISTER MY NO IN BLACK LIST OF SO I AM NOT ABLE TO CONTACT CUSTOMER CARE SO I REQUEST YOU PLEASE DO NEEDFUL IN THIS MATTER

                              Dear Sir, I Md. Anis, my Digital TV customer ID is [protected]. i did request to airtel DTH Customer care executive on 2/05/10 to cahnge my package, he replied ur package will change with in 45 minutes but when i check after 45 minute my package was not changed. I again called to CCE and he said SORRY within 3 Hrs ur package will change and plz note ur complaint No. Like this every day i call to CCE about my problem but no response... this is 5th day but they are not taking any response and when i call them they say Plz wait i check.. OK VERY SORRY AFTER 3 HRS ur problem will solve but nothing.

                              Airtel DTH - worst service I have ever seen. I installed last month one Airtel DTH to view world cup matches.
                              On World cup final day it was out of order. I registered the complaint immediately and requested them a lot. Today is third day and I have called more than 10 times at their service centre but in vain.
                              Now I am planning to go to Consumer Forum.

                              Please resolve my this problem...

                              we want to change our dth package as we registered to 225/month pack we want to change it to 175/month package.

                                Im consumer of airtel mobile since 4year .network in some part of nagpur is too weak .and insome part it is strong.network in dattatray nagar, ayodha nagar,manewade,ladikar layout,durga nagar and many more is weak so that we are unble to use its service in emergency .company represtative replies us to do varius setting in our moblie n such other nonsense tips. . but they are charging for sevice with provding proper service.
                                please look in this matter.

                                  Last Month I re-charged for Rs. 500 on my account. Within a couple of weeks received a SMS saying amount is low and askd to recharge. When I looked at the statement within three days after the last recharge they've deducted around approx. Rs.275 saying subscribed to some channels. Those channels are not subscribed my nor watched by me. reached the customer care for than 10 times, every time the call will get disconnected when they say that they'll look at the account or when they're not able to answer my question. Wrote couple of mails to [protected]@airtel.in but no response. Even today I called up and spoke to Prabhakar but got disconnected as usual.

                                  The statement for the creadit amount shows date in 2009. Not sure what it is? Below are the entries on the statement

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I was using Airtel number [protected]. I conducted airtel-121 to activate the services (Airtel-Airtel 10 paise and local SMS free service), and the airtel customer care executive told me that it wil be activated in 24 hours and i got SMS also to my mobile. This happened in the DEC-09 bill cycle. But the requested service was not activated on that number and the bill was generated wrongly for DEC-09 and JAN-10. I didnt check the bill details for DEC-09 and made the payment but i found this problem in JAN-10 bill cycle and communicated the same with Airtel. They told me that they will solve the issue. But they have not solved the issue and and they didnt give any discount. I was not at all intimated about the status of it. When i communicate airtle, everytime a new person picking up the phone and i have to explain the complete scenario. but no action taken yet. The person told me that discount has been given. When ask for the split-up they dont provide me the split up. And they just ask me to make the payment. Please look into this issue and solve it. My e-mail address [protected]@yahoo.co.in

                                        Hi,

                                        I got message from Airtel 54321 stating that "Thanks for downloading Value+Pack" from Airtel. You have been charged Rs.15.

                                        Now I had not contacted Airtel for any Value pack, neither did I download anything. Then why have I got this message?

                                        I tried calling airtel Customer care thrice since yesterday evening and when I dial for English, I end up talking to Customer care representative who talks in Hindi. And when I asked them, they say their system does not show any details of the Value pack added on my number and the are unable to provide a solution for it and just hook up...
