Dearest One!

Greetings from an aggrieved Customer!

This is Vikram Sethi.I.E Prepaid customer of Airtel. i.e. [protected] or [protected].On 30 Apr.2010's night . I got too many problems from Airtel and that's
why I had to call to 121 or 198 for making complaints or conduct inquiries.Yesterday, I needed an emergency help from
customer care Executive.But, what I found was my number was blocked and was unable to talk to customer care executive on 121 and
198.Due to that I faced a heavy inconvenience and didn't get any help from Airtel. I visited the Retailer and He also was unable to help me
and told me to contact customer care executive.But CCE was not accessible from both of my numbers [protected] and [protected].

Then I made a call from a Airtel Postpaid number of any helpful stranger on the road and Talked to customer care executive.He told me I am unable to help you and asked me call to Prepaid helpline and When I told CCE's number is blocked and I need an immediate help. Then He gave a number [protected] and assured me that this will be definitely helpful and soothing experience and you will be able to talk to CCE. But this time too, I was unable to talk to CCE from my AIRTEL numbers and Then I called from TATA INDICOM'S number [protected] and pressed 9 to talk to customer care executive voice says this number is invalid.This time too you got flunked heavily to serve a customer
and harassed and looted the customer. My 3 minutes from TATA INDICOM got wasted on a PATHETIC 121.

121 and 198 both numbers are meant to harass and annoy customers. These both numbers are in DOGHOUSE. They don't give adequateoptions and mislead the poor customers.Format is completely designed to nark the customer.It doesn't give a direct option to talk to customer care executive. Its our right to get customer care AIRTEL is legally entitled to serve this 24*7 without any restrictions and why do AIRTEL block CCE numbers???????? What do they think??
Are we idle or Jobless? And we are fond to call 121 and get TIME-PASS from hellish and most devilish 121 service of Airtel.

From 10 May, AIRTEL is making this helpline paid.Don't we know its wicked strategy to loot the customers by making an excuse that some insincere customers do time pass on 121 and 2nd feeble excuse they give is that they can't afford the call centre's expenses,
which is a damn white lie!!! Don't we know BHARTI GROUP needs a huge money on the account of BHARTI- ZAIN deal in south africa.

Its good to explore business and will make BHARTI GROUP an Indian Multinational that will of course make every indian Proud,But by plundering Indian customers you are accruing money to buy South African company.Its a hall of shame and most denouncingact!!!! TRAI'S Permission to Airtel to loot customers by charging them on talking to CCE is also denouncing! and making the Indian
consumer more insecure!!! Its absolutely abominating and repugnant act of BHARTI GROUP. But don't dare to forget Portability is about to come and customers will get power once again.

Your Internet speed is absolutely sucking!!! Some times It takes 3 to 5 minutes to open an already optimized Well-Renowned GOOGLE.CO.IN . Vas services get activated without customer's consent.Balance gets deducted without any sms notice or any message Retailers and AIrtel Relationship
centers are just for showpiece on the Roads and unable to help and ask to call customer care and what a bloody Irony!!!!!!!!! Customer care number is blocked!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And bloody hellish MISGUIDANCE is given to customer who presses 9 for talking to CCE. An automated voice says'' send sms in 130 characters
about your problem and inquiry and we will take care your concern with in next 24 hours''And when sends and an SMS to 121 He gets the same annoying menu.Hence its Phone's Battery,Patience,Temper and above all his most precious time gets wasted. In this way Airtel is be fooling and snubbing his innocents customers.
Who gave a right to AIRTEL to exploit us???????????? If you can't serve us in a decent manner,Then shut the company down!!!!!!!Where can we find a support!!?????

I know,They will not be able to understand the customer's anguish,Because it didn't happen with them!!!!!! They have n't got in any emergency. Suppose you are in emergency you need AMBULANCE,POLICE,FREIND'S SUPPORT OR DO ANY URGENT E-MAIL and your network sucks!! Then what will you do??? Ofcourse you will try to call 121 to inquire!! But what will you do when by pressing 9 your call gets disconnected and suck your blood badly!!!!! Even Customer care executive was not accessible on [protected] from TATA and other operators.But regret to think that I am barking at a knot (AIRTEL) and I know very well they can't understand our problems until they get trapped in any terrible fix!! Only THE WEARER KNOWS THE WHERE THE SHOE PINCHES!!!!!!! But sorry they haven't worn any uncomfortable shoe yet!! I am sure that when they will recieve this
complaint an executive on the other side will answer in a lifeless robotic wording.
WE REGRET FOR THE INCONVENIENCE CAUSED TO YOU'' and his job gets done!!

Today 30 APR. 2010 at 05:50 A.M., I made a call to 121 and luckily I was able to talk to CCE and On asking He said you can talk only 2 to 3 times a day or in 2 days and if you call again your
number will be blocked. But when I asked him why this repugnant behavior towards customers?? Somebody must have a genuine or emergency problem? Then?? He said I can understand and its injustice but nothing is in my hand and when I requested to talk to senior one He put me on hold for long time and Call got disconnected from AIRTEL'S side.
You can see very vividly what a blinking cruddy services AIRTEK is providing!! and I am sure that from 10 May their executives will put us on hold for long time and eat our HARD EARNED MONEY recklessly!!Thousand of customers have gone through these problems. If you search on GOOGLE with keyword AIRTEL COMPLAINTS you will get to know!!!! But AIRTEL'S who cares attitude sucks!!!!!

I am gonna to write a BIG COMPLAINT to Consumer forum,CNBC TV18'S BEWARE AND OTHER MEDIA. I have no hope from AIRTEL'S Unprofessional and misguiding system! I need a justice.We the consumers want Best!! Due to such devilish acts of yours our country is developING and never gets develoPED.Due to very few insensible customers who call 121 for TIMEPASS, You are not supposed to kill all customers mentally.Your conversations are recorded. Why don't they take serious actions or issue a SMS warning to all customers that If some one talks indecent or improper his connection will be disconnected and then they will have a recorded proof and It will soothe an honest customers.
Change must be brought to system and stop blocking and avoiding customers. Customer is a King and You treat us like a cut-throat dog!!!Why We Indians always do a compromise!! Don't forget that Airtel is getting paid to take care o[censored]s!!! Its our right!!!


To sum up, I know best that You will not do anything and I will have to send my complaints to TRAI, Consumer forum and Media for making pressure.
Whatever! I had to release my frustrations and anguish which I got yesterday from AIRTEL.At least It will make me light and calm and boost my confidence.But sorry to say AIRTELhas been failed in your endeavor and has lost its charm!I am surprised about the CEO Sanjay Kapoor's Interview to economictimes In which he said''our ethos to build a lean and mean organization'' Sorry to say He should have said '' our ethos to build a mean organization''In which they have been successful widely! Congrats to AIRTEL!!

Prepaid Mobile — fraud conversation by cce

Dear Sir/Mam.

This is regarding to fraud conversation done by one of your customer care executive "Gaurav" .

Yesturdey[protected] I have to recharge my prepaid number with 598 rs. and I make a call to customer care executive(gaurav) at around 4:30 pm to conferm that mey i recharge it through ICICI bank site. He has assured me if I recharge your mobile of Rs 598 I will get 598 Rs talktime. Via internet/ICICI bank also.

But after successful recharge i had got only 532 rs. after that I have make a call to talk with seniour officer of customer two time both time cce has disconnect my number after here my query. this is indication of airtel such a best brand in india started to make full of customer which is not fare.

Please go through my all conversation done with cces, and reverse my all 66 Rs.

AIRTEL AND TATA — HARASHMENT

Dear Sir

i port my air tel number [protected] in Tata Docomo last 40 days before but today outgoing barred my mobile number as going in tata care offcice they say this outgoing barred due to bill not paid of airtel company but i already cleared my unbilled amount + 50 Rs extra when i port my number now airtel and Tata Docomo not gave any response plz help for this.

    My 3 years old airtel prepaid mobile number issued to someone else

    i was using my airtel prepaid number since last 3 years and suddenly it has got deactivated 15 days back when i was out of station and since i came today and saw that my sim is not working when i called on my own number someone else picked the phone and started saying bad words and said he got this number issued 15 days back how its possible i dont understand my number is [protected] which is distributed...

    Dear Sir,
    With ref to my Yesterdays mail in which Mr Jagdish one of your officer having PH no [protected], said that the same No will start working by today i.e on29.04.2010 by 5:30 pm , but the same is not working till now . Further his no [protected] is also switched of after 7.00 pm today .because customer is there to suffer .

    Is there any other person whom I could contact because you are creating a nuisance or are you tring to fool me out.

    I was a regular customer and I was also paying me rental for the whole year in advance .
    It seems that the company is a fraud , if i do not pay bills on due date you charge Interest , are you also going to pay my dues when you have stopped my phone.

    Further I am suffering a lot because of your incompetent staff like Sanjay Singh of your airtel outlet in Arya Nagar , Kanpur , I am going to your office , making calls to you , wasting my time what about the expenses that I will bear on just a simple connection, and it might be a case why should you big officers look in such a small case of pre paid , hardly paying Rs 100.00 a month on recharge

    Sir look in there matters and please make me a written reply whether it is going to work or not or I have to take some legal action aginst it.

    I am giving you a - Mr Jagdish a mail , please go through to it also

IN THIS REAGRD I WAS GIVEN A COMPLAIN NO 2579160 WITH A TIME FRAME TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE BY 1.30PM ON 29TH APRIL 2010. AT ARROUND 11 O CLOCK I AGAIN TALKED TO THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE TO MAKE ANOTHER REQUEST FOR SPEEDY DISPOSAL OF THE MATTER AND AT ARROUND 11.30PM I RECEIVED A CALL FROM ROURKELA CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRE Mr.SUKANT MOB NO.[protected] TO HELP ME RESOLVE THE ISSUE OVER THE PHONE AND ULTIMATELY IT ENDED IN FUTILE. THEN THE EXECUTIVE TOLD ME TO TRY AFTER 10MIN AND CALL HIM IF THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS.AFTER 20MIN ALSO THE PROBLEM COULD NOT BE RESOLVED AND I CALLED HIM BACK TO CONVEY THE PERSITING PROBLEM ERROR CODE-B0001 NO SIGNAL. THEN HE ASSURED ME TO SEND AN ENGINEER Mr.HAREKRUSHNA TO VISIT AND THE PROBLEM WILL BE RESOLVED, BUT TILL 5 'O' CLOCK NO SUCH PERSON TURNED UP, THEN I CONTACTED THE CUSTOMER CARE CENTRE AND CAME TO KNOW THAT MY COMPLAIN OF ABOVE HAS BEEN CLOSED SUCCESSFULLY WITHOUT RESOLVING MY PROBLEM WHICH WAS SHOCKING TO ME.THEN I TALKED TO THE EXECUTIVE Mr.NILESH WHO TOOK MY CUST ID AND I AGAIN NARRATED HIM THE ENTIRE EPISODE THEN HE POINT BLANK SAID PLS CALL AFTER 1 HOUR AS I AM UNABLE TO ACCESS MY SYSTEM THIS IS DELIBERATELY DONE TO AVOID MY COMPLAIN. WHEN I WANTED TO TALK TO HIS SENIOUR OFFICER HE SAID NO YOU CANT AND I DONT HAVE HIS NUMBER.

      IT WAS A HARASSING EPISODE THAT OCCURRED WITH ME BY THE SERVICE PROVIDER.THEN I REVERT BACK TO THE MOB NO.[protected] AND TALKED Mr.SUKANT AND WHEN I CONVEYED HIM MY APATHETHIC CONDITION AND FOR WANT OF AN SUPPORT ENGINEER ENTIRE DAY I PASSED IN HOME SITTING IDLE WITHOUT ANY ENTERTAINMENT. TO NOTE TODAY WA MY MARRIAGE ANNIVERSARY AND WE COULD NOT GO OUT FOR DINNER OR CELEBRATE AS WE WERE WAITING FOR THE ENGINEER Mr.HAREHRUSHNA. EVEN AT 7PM I WAS AGAIN ASSURED BY MR.SUKANT THAT BY 10 "O"CLOCK NIGHT I WILL DEFINITELY SEND THE ABOVE SAID ENGINEER OR I WILL PERSONALLY VISIT YOU TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM, BUT TILL 10 'O' CLOCK NONE OF THEM VISITED AND I KEPT ON CALLING THE CUSTOMER CARE CENTRE FROM MY REGISTERED MOB NO.[protected] BUT IT ALL ENDED IN FUTILE AND THE REPLY OF THE COMPLAIN STATUS AS USUAL "CLOSED SUCCESSFULLY'. THEN AT ARROUND 10.30 I CALLED TO Mr.SUKANT FROM MOB NO.[protected] TO KNOW WHETHER I SHOULD WAIT ANY MORE, BUT THE CALL WAS PICKED BY A LADY AND IN REPLY SAID THIS IS MY PERSONAL POST PAID NO SO IF YOU WANT TO TALK TO Mr.SUKANT THEN CALL IN THIS NO AT 10AM TOMORROW.

      WHY ALL THESE ?? AND WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS SUFFERRING CAUSED TO ME ?? I WAS HARRASSED AND GIVEN MENTAL TORTURE AND A SPECIAL OCCASSION OF MY LIFE ENDED IN A DIRTY NODE.

      EVEN NOW THE ERROR CODE-B001 SIGNAL ERROR !!! WHEN THIS WILL BE SOLVED ? WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MY THIS SUFFERRING ? I CALL UPON YOUR ESTEEMED AUTHORITIES TO LOOK INTO THE MATTER WITH A SERIOUS NODE AND HELP ME TO GET RID OF MY MENTAL AGONY.

        Hi,
        I had recharged for Rs. 52 for getting SMS benefits on my mobile connection. It's validity is one month. I had recharged this on 28th March 2010. I stopped getting benefit of this SMS pack on 12th April. I registered a complaint in customer care (complaint no.[protected]. They said that they will revert back to me with solution on 16th April. I used to send SMS thinking that I will get my money back once they rectify this issue as they had said this in the beginning. I called them on 19th again saying that it has not been addressed (complaint no. [protected]). They said that it will be done till 21st of April. I still kept sending SMS while I was being charged for each SMS. Each local SMS was worth 50 paise and STD SMSes were 60 paise. I called back to customer care on 23rd April. They said that they can't refund the money. I was shocked. They said that its validity can be increased but they can't refund the balance. So, I stopped sending SMSes and sent only when necessary. They said that it will be done till 28th (complaint no. [protected] and [protected]). I started getting the benefit of free SMS from 28th April.
        But I have lost more than Rs. 100 in this whole fiasco. I wanted my money back but they did not do it.

        I have reached a conclusion that this is their new money making scheme. Offer customers some pack which offers free smses. and then stop the service. Customer who is facing this for the first time will do the same thing like me and will end up paying for SMS. They will get good sum of money. Then they will start this again and will extend the benefit for few more days. In between they just made a good sum of money by laundering it. I would like to bring this into notice as I have got to know that they are doing this for many customers and just think if Rs. 100 multiplied by 1000 people (assuming at least 1000 people are using this service and facing problems) they can easily make money worth one lakh. They are looting us in the name of free SMS while other service providers are providing this service at very cheap rates (without doing these cheap activities).

        I want that strict action should be taken against them.

        Airtel — False Messages for E-recharge

        I have received Identical messages on 2 cell # I own. The messages sent were from "Erecharge" saying "received a payment 420/- on 10/10/2009 at 10:38", which surprisingly quote a receipt # too[protected]. I have not made any transactions on both the # i own, and are postpaid numbers.
        In past also a severely bad experience was faced due to charges levied on internet usage (internet downloads) from one of the mobiles which were never actually done. Even worst was interacting with Airtel customer care, who were first in denial mode and were forcing me to make payments. Finally after struggle with the customer care, and proving that the mobile from which the downloads occurred were not from the any of the models I possess they reluctantly reversed the charges.
        For now I want Airtel guys to know that we already have a dial-up internet connectivity from Airtel, and we would never require internet usage on mobile. So please take a note of this and excuse us from all such inconvenience and please act.

        Airtel — Fake Recharge

        Hi,
        I recharged for Rs.52 and i never got the sms package. Airtel never provided the SMS package because of which i lost my last remaining balance. I'd like to also bring to the notice that many pepole are also being ripped off with this scheme. Some times they say its a technical problem or sometimes they say the recharge has never been done. I'd like to bring these tghins to the notice of the officials and i request them to do the needful. Also other Airtel custoumers beware.

          I have charged Rs.20/- as per SMS received from 56060 under servuces from Airtel that "you have for downloading MCpack on http://10.2.34.47/OTA" where as I have not downloaded any thing from this site. I don't have any idea about this site. One complaining regarding the same on 198- customer care number. They are replying only the same that I have been charged for the same. It is surprising that without requesting anything Airtel charges me Rs.20/-. It is their system that by default they do like this and charge to customer.

          Please do write to Airtel to give me credit of Rs.20/- back.

          i have also been charged rs. 140 same way. The service is ridiculous.
          I HAVE CHARGED RS. 40/- FOR MCPACK SERVICE ACTIVATION, I HAVE NOT ACTIVATED IT. I HAVE DON'T IDEA ABOUT THAT SIDE AND I HAVEN'T REQUESTED FOR THAT.
          PLESE RETURN MY MONEY BACK.

            My Prepaid mob no. [protected] is showing as INVALID from past one week.

            I have purchased that sim recently (before one month back) and in this period they had bared my incoming and outgoing calls because of verification.

            After that it was working properly and suddenly it was showing as INVALID.

            when i called to customer care they told that "your document has not been submitted till now "

            if document not get then how they did verification. so i have lodge a complaint on consumer court. please reply me to this mail id chocolaty.[protected]@gmail.com

            On date 13/07/2010 my sim card [protected] misplace . i have done complaint to police station & collect to complaint copy on their. All the document submitted on their for duplicate Sim card [protected] but airtel outlet not to provide same sim card provide to me [protected] that is different number. i have submitted to all document for [protected] mentioned on the paper for this no

            Airtel — alleged invalid document

            I got Airtel moile prepaid connection in May 2007 having mobile no. [protected], and have now received a sms ststing that I need to submit the documents in the nearest dist. without writing the date of activation in the form.
            It is strange as I had submitted all the relevant documents ( including Driving Lisence & photographs), and I am receiving such meesage after 3 years of getting connection. Please let me know what the matter is,
            from last 4 year i was using [protected], Two months back on mobile it shows ragistration is failed but for reason i am in mumbaai and i am unable to submit document whn i reached in my native palce i go for to submit documet, in that store two there person are so rude not giving proper answer and an i used to call on 999 and 888 they also provide me wrong information each time, the person are rude that not issue but i want my number back you delet my number

            and to submit document in you store is not first time i think i submited my documet 2-3 time all time after some time due to registration fail problem i have to go for that store in my native place

              I am writing to tell you guys that I am so damn pissed with airtel. I have been calling for the past two days and there is no response to my complaint.

              I have raised a complaint stating that, re wiring needs to be done (The wire was blocking the front entrance and it had to be moved to the side. I have called last night twice and I spoke to a manager and he claimed that it would get rectified within half an hour and this call was between 2030hrs and 2110hrs (please check your call recordings).

              This morning I called in for the same issue, the first girl transferred me back to the IVR (Both calls between 0810hrs and 0835hrs) and the second girl by the name Geetha said she would transfer my call to the manager, but the line has been quite for the past 10mins and still no response.

              I’ve been charged Rs.100 for the service (What service – NO CABLE, the WALL SOCKET not fixed back and it’s just hanging there, No response form anyone). I am very very very disappointed with you guys.

              I am a consumer of Airtel DTH, Airtel post paid and Airtel broadband and I have been promoting you guys to my friends and kept telling them that you’re the best, but today I just realized that AIRTEL is one of the WORST SERVICE PROVIDERS YOU COULD ACTUALLY HAVE… thanks for proving my friends right.

              I want my airtel dth to be disconnected and taken away as I am very very very unhappy.

                Hi ... My Airtel number is [protected]. I have been using this number for more than 6 years now. This is an Airtel Prepaid Friends connection in which the Calling rate was 10p/min for local airtel and messaging 25p/sms. In the month of January I received a message from Airtel stating that if i recharge with Rs. 42 voucher I will have reduced calling charges during Roaming. As I was going to travel out of town I went ahead and recharged with the Rs. 42 voucher to save while I would be roaming. The following day was shock when I realized I was being charged Re.1 / min for calling and also Re. 1 for sms. I immediately called the Call Center to find out the reason. I was informed that I had recharged with Rs.42 so my plan had changed. I got irritated and told them that there was no information about the plan being changed in the message sent by airtel and also the dealer from whom i recharged did not inform me about any such condition. The Call Center executive told me that nothing could be done and told me visit the local Airtel Office. The following day i visited the Airtel Outlet on FC Road only to face more annoying customer service. The person there had no decency to talk and kept avoiding the conversation by telling to send an email to their nodal officer in mumbai. I then decided to write their Nodal officer with all details also including the misbehaviour by the Airtel Executives. I mentioned that they cannot go ahead and change by Plan without informing me. I also informed that though Airtel had a compromised network in Pune and the service isnt upto the mark I was just sticking with Airtel only because of its plan. And this is a very unprofessional way of making modification of service to an old customer like me. The nodal officer replied back stating that as the recharge has gone through nothing can me done. I don't understand how can such big company like airtel do such things. They should mention such details along with the message. This is a complete fraudulent activity by airtel as they are making changes to user plans by misguiding users. I was unable find a platform to bring this into light but now that i have come to know about this website I hope this message is received by the Authorities in Airtel and customers and also create an awareness so that Companies like Airtel don't take everyone for a ride . I guess a lot of people are being misguided by Airtel through wrong information. If anyone can guide me with information about taking up this issue with higher authorities. Thank you.

If any such is there, kindly give me my application No. with time and date please. I request you to kindly refund the wrongly deducted amount to me within 24hrs of receipt of this mail. If I dont get refund within the time stipulated, I am prepared to take legal action with damages certain.

                    I had done a Rs.75/- refill on my Airtel mobile connection on April 22nd 2010. After an hour, Airtel guys changed my tariff plan with out any prior information. I have been following up with several customer care executives till date. But, I always got false promises.I have spoken with several Senior Supervisors / officers various times but all in vain.

                    On 23rd April 2010, I spoke to senior officer SANDESH. He took my complaint & accepted the fact that it happened due to AIRTEL'S fault and also apologized stating that I will get my tariff plan back in 48 hours.When I followed up again on 26th, I got an awful reply that Airtel do not provide service to any of its customers on weekend's. This was the statement by another senior supevisor Mr.Mudadsar.
                    This particular gentleman was unable to resolve my query & he forwarded my call to Mr.Naren Patel. As expected, I received false commitments from him too.

                    I am literally pissed up with this kind of support / feedback received from one of the established organization in Telecom Industry. This is simply pathetic & absurd replies.

                    I need to sue Airtel big time.Airtel have cheated me.

                    Please let me know what steps are needed to be taken further.

                      AirTel — Refused to refund excess payment

                      I was having a personal Airtel no [protected] apart from my Airtel CUG no - [protected].



                      I was having some pending dues with my personal number and I paid the same on 30th April 2009 but due to some missunderstandings ( As the last five digits are same "16165" )the vendor deposited my payment of Rs.2500/- in my CUG no - [protected]. When I bring this under their notice they promised me to do the adjustments from their end and ensured me verbaly that there would be no problem for me to face in future.



                      Due to this my dues were still reflecting in Airtel account and they Informed me through their leagal department through a notice dated 6th June 2009 and on this communication I again deposited a sum of Rs. 3044/- ( Including Fine ) against my personal number.



                      Due to above said reasons a Sum of Rs. 2500/- has been updated in my Airtel CUG number [protected].At first they communicated to me that the reversal of the sum can be done only from corporate service provider`s end.

                      at this I contacted to my corporate service provider and didn`t get any support.



                      Now Airtel is not refunding my amount nor they are ready to give any sort of compenciation.They are offering me to repurchase the number and only then they will reverce the amount in the same account.Now when I already have CUG services why should I purchase the old number once again and why can`t they simply refund my cash of Rs.2500/-

                        I am experiencing very slow speeds on my Airtel Connection. I use internet generally on my mobile phone itself and I have found the speed to be very unsatisfactory. I am using one of the newest Android handsets, rest assured ...the problem is not with my mobile phone. I have the [protected]@Rs98 pack activated on my mobile. But with the current speeds I dont think I will even be able to use 300-400 MB. I am using your EDGE network and to the best of my knowledge the speeds are supposed to be much better than 2-3 KBps than i am getting right now. I suspect you are throttling the GPRS Unlimited plan users. Just to mention than I recently switched to Airtel, from CUG Vodafone plan (for which my company was paying the bills), just so that I can use the internet without hassles. Is this how you plan to get loyal customers?

                        The problem reported by puneet on 28 apr 2010 is not fully resolved .

                        In some places the problem is fully resolved, but a lot of customers are still experiencing the problem due to overloaded towers and airtel did nothing to solve this.

                        I am a postpaid customer.I reported the same problem on march first week 2010 to the nodal officer of kerala Mr Robin. every time i called him he said they are working on the issue & will resolve it in a week. Nodal office told me that the tower i use is over the capacity.

                        It took 3 months for airtel to make an improvement in the gprs speed.Even after that the speeds are pretty low, it just improved nothing else.

                        the speed of aitrel gprs before they introduced 98 pack was 160-200 Kbps even in peak time & the speed right now is still below 100 Kbps and highly fluctuating.

                        The only way airtel can resolve this issue is by Removing the 98rs Gprs pack & upgrade their servers and towers & start the pack again. so that the other customers not get affected by it.

                        I am now using Tata Docomo for gprs which gives me a speed of 160-180 Kbps even in peak times.

                        i live in chhattisgarh korba i m facing the same problem with 98 pack of 2GB in airtel pre. the speed is toooooooo slow so i call to customer care and complaint for very slow speed they register my complaint & given complaint number 00200200 & said problem is solved in 3 days but they do nothing i m still facing the same problem so i decided if the speed is not improve before 25th june i switch to docomo which provide good speed as my friend said.
                        Airtel's a great brand but the GPRS is terrible...moreover they arn't bringing 3g to punjab according to the bidding results... cmon guys u call this brand reputation??? why cant airtel do something about simple edge speeds? and if no 3g in punjab airtel is definately gna loose customers in this area...

                        AIRTEL/GPRS — Wrong information/negligence of giving service

                        My problem was that i was unable to use my Yahoo mail on my Mobile i.e in Nokia E71. I was using it later before one and a half month after which i was suffering a hardware poblem for Camera so i dropped in the service centre and i recieved it two days before i.e on 26/11/2010. Finally i inserted the sim and was configuring my mail but my mobile is showing the message for a long time stating that Connecting to server or testing network connection and the i was unable to configure my mail. Now i called up the Airtel Call centre in which a girl was assisting me in rest of the configuration part yesterday i.e on 27/11/2010, i did it and it was not told by her that the airtel doesnt support yahoo.com site as it is the secure site and the user is required to pay $20 yearly for yahoo.com site to be used on my Nokia E71 mobile. she asked me to continue further using yahoo and in the same way also told me that for future problem contact on 12118 for technical issues. now i started using but the same problem was occuring while i am coneecting the yahoo mail it is not getting connected. today i.e 28/11/2010 again to the call centre and had a word with girl and asked me about the problem, itold her and she asked me about my model no, I said Nokia E71. she was not having handset knowledge because she told me that there is two model in Nokia E71 one is Nokia E71 normal and other is Nokia E71 Music but there is no such model as Nokia E71 Music. it was her first mistake. after which she said that yahoo.com is the site which you need to pay $20 yearly and interrupted her that i was using yahoo without paying anything except 98 rupees as my rental for GPRS to Airtel monthly. but she denied my words saying proving there is no such system o[censored]sing it without paying, i was completely upset as i used it later and noe someone is proving that i am saying false and i request her to transfer to a sophisticated technical whose going to guide me and she transfered my call to a guy whose name was Mr. Devendra Solanki and again he said the same words as the second girl but i asked him continuosly to check the updates and give solution as i was using it later also but he didnt did so. and while giving me some information he he get irritated saying that i cant do two work at a time better what i am saying you write that. so this is not a cutomer service part that i am getting after bearing Rs. 98 Rental and even if am not talking of my mail than there is another problem that am unable to use web browser, whenever am calling to a reciepent he gets wrong identification in terms of my number which shows in the recipents mobile screen. i want the output at any cot because they chrged me .0.50paise for per three minute and was talking to them since 15-20 min. that to thrice but still its not working. consumer should be treated properly and should get every updates, output in a positive manner and sholud listen but not interrupt. will be waiting for your positive feedback.

                        i totally agree with the complaint. i am currently using an iphone 3gs and i tried the 98rs pack on my iphone. It is a shame to use airtel net on a smartphone in my region(punjab). how can even one think o[censored]sing 2gb with such a speed even in an years time???? i had also migrated to airtel from vodafone this year using MNP. now i think i will have to switch again to aircel or some other service provider that provides 3g services in punjab. if the problem is not adressed well in time airtel will lose many customers in this circle...

                        Airtel — Unrealistic GPRS Usage

                        Hi,

                        Am an Airtel Prepaid User from Bangalore.Recently I received a huge bill amounting to more than 3 K and all it had was charges which were related to my internet usage.I had a similar issue with them last time to for which I made them reduce my bill (which I wasn't quite satisfied with).After this incident i installed a software in my phone which actually keeps a track of my internet usage including the websites i visit and stuff that i download(which i never did).All i do is check my mails and use Facebook.I called up the customer care and they told me that my usage is more that 4 gb for the month. I don't understand that just by checking mails and using FB can usage amount to 4 GB.According my my phones records i have hardly used 100 MB in the whole month. I called up the customer care many times and they took my complaint and they told my that i will be getting a call in 48 hrs which i haven not received yet and it has already been a week.

                        Please help me with the issue above asap. I can also produce the log generated by my phone if a proof is needed.

                        I recently switched to Airtel [protected]@Rs98 which is horribly slow... with this speed i think no body will ever be able to use more than 200 to 300 mb per month. if the company cannot provide the full usage value of the pack to customers, the company is going to really lose out on customers for being fallacious with such unrealistic fraudulent schemes. I feel that the network (Reliance) that i was using earlier was considerably faster than the present Airtel pack that i'm using. I request you to kindly resolve this issue which is really affecting millions of individuals suffering like me out there!!!

                          Hi I don't know why airtel is deleting the number which was in use for over 6 months giving silly reasons like the address verification was not correct and the documents were not submitted so on.

                          I contacted the Mysore Airtel Customer care stating them that my father has purchased a prepaid sim and all the documents have been submitted which was required. They then asked which all documents have been submitted, imagine we have to remember about the documents submitted for over 6 months!. I told that there are a variety of documents like rationcard, votersid, driverslicense, passport, PAN card, and however stated the address given in the SIM card application.


                          Later they told that the address was not matching and the details are not correct, so they have DELETED(RECYCLED) the number so that cannot be restored. I have given the same number in resumes, to professional contacts, imagine the kind of material as well as professional loss i am incurred with. is there no law in this country?

                          My father Sathyanarayana.S. has purchased the sim with all the requisite documents and address verification done, otherwise the number would not have been in use for 6 months and more!. I have talked upto the level of supervisor Vijayendra in the Airtel Customer Care number, Mysore which cost me over Rs.20. at the end of it all, the problem is not even resolved yet, I want that number to be restored. Kindly can someone suggest the future course of action to be taken.

                          Dear Friends,

                          I think these people who replying as the name of Customer Care exicutive in this forum are fake. Dont believ them.

                          You can try to contact Nodal Officer when Customer Care officials and Relationship officials are fails to accept your reactivation request.

                          But you should contact them within 3months of your number has been deleted or deactivated.

                          There is one more authority even if Nodal Officers fails to activate you mobile number back, that is Appellate Authority.

                              coordinator who has promised me that he will provide me with data card on
                              payment of Rs 500. He provided me Payment slip with APS receipt No 231513
                              .SP/DP no[protected]DST009 , FSO code=01326

                              FSO name == MANISH/DHIRAJ. FSO Mobile Number==[protected]

                              Ihave the payment slip record with Name : BHARTI AIRTEL LIMITED and MALAD(w) ,
                              interface 5Th floor link road office address.

                              He has also affixed stamp of FARVISION SALES SERVICE, MUMBAI. I am unable to
                              contact him as he has put his cell in switched off mode.

                              He was carrying ID card of AIRTEL alongwith him

                              He has also taken m address proff and voting card details with him. He promised
                              me he will provide the data card within one day.

                              Hence i request you to take necessary strict action against him and please
                              provide me my 500 RS or data card whichever is applicable


                              Kindly treat this request at earliest as the mentioned sales coordinator is

                              airtel/data card — 0 speeds on card, inability to resolve issue, non-closure of account despite repeated oral and written instruction, continued billing

                              I purchased an airtel data card last year and right from the very onset I have had very low connection speeds despite all the promises to the contrary made by the salesperson (Abacus Communications, South Extn, New Delhi) and in the literature that accompanies the card. Within a few months the speeds dropped still further, only reaching a maximum of 8-10 kpbs. Despite repeated complaints to 7070, the technical complaint desk the issue was not resolved.

                              Furthermore, by January 2008, I stopped getting any connectivity whatsoever with the Data Card at my workplace and the customer care executive and the technical help desk alike assured me it was only a temporary problem caused due to over load on the server. At home every time I attempted to use the card it would work until I opened a url and then hang, still connected at 0 speed. If I attempted to disconnect and reconnect, I would have to reload the driver all over again. It is obviously impossible to keep rebooting every time I wanted to move from one webpage to another and so I began complaining. During the course of that month I have lodged complaints at 121, 7070 and the Airtel Relationship Centre from where I purchased the card. No action was taken. After an extremely frustrating month of speaking to ever-changing customer care agents, in February I demanded that my card be discontinued as they were unable or unwilling to fix the problem.

                              Yet again, no action was taken and I continue to receive monthly bills and daily calls from various airtel officers regarding "pending payments". As there was no usage possible on my datacard and I had requested that the card be discontinued, these so-called pending payments are to my mind highly unethical. Finally, extremely harrassed with the constant calls, I discussed the issue with a Mr Pawan and agreed to pay Rs 1000 Rs as final payment (for whatever little usage I had in terms of trying to get the card to work, finding speed dropping to 0 and then having to reboot the driver) with the agreement that the card would now be conclusively discontinued. A Mr Rawat came to my residence and collected the money assuring me that once this amount was logged into the system that day, Airtel would immediately send me a letter confirming the discontinuation of the datacard.

                              It has now been 18 days since that day and I have not only not received the letter but also received a new bill for this month. It is obviously not against the scheme (599 rs a month) as the bill for this month is Rs 347.37. I had called Mr Rawat regarding the pending letter on the 7th and he assured me it was being sent to me, there had been a delay in processing the paperwork. I called him this morning and he tells me he is on his way to drop the letter off and the delay was because he was out of town.

                              I am now exceedingly frustrated and annoyed with Airtel's cavalier attitude towards their customer and with the constant and outright lies told by their agents. I expected a company with the sort of legacy Airtel has to be more scrupulous in their dealings and am highly disappointed.

                                Respected Sir / Madam,
                                I, Tripti lohiya D/o Shri Santosh kumar lohiya, Age 23 year, kampthi line, Rajnandgaon, having Airtel Broad Band connection with User ID & Customer Acct. no. 14467116 .
                                On dated 20/08/2009, I did disconnection the Airtel broad band connection after paying settlement amount of Rs. 800 with reference to Receipt no. IN 77474 dated 20/08/2009 and I also surrendered the modem together with payment of Rs. 800.
                                Now after disconnection of broad band on 08/04/20010 I received call from Mr. Ashok Rana having mo. No. [protected] saying that I am Delhi district court clerk and here is case file against you & his Advocate Mr. Chandra kant oberai (mo. No. [protected]),that told me , I have not paid bill amount Rs.1380 i.e. up to nov. 2009, they tortured me for payment of bill. If you will not pay the bill we will file a suit of 420 against you in Delhi court & we will issue today warrant against you due to fear of them I paid the amount of Rs. 1380 dated 08/04/2010 Receipt no. CA98988645.
                                Now sir, I want to know from you?
                                What is happening?
                                What kind of people, you are engaging for recovery of the dues from customer? Since I had disconnected the broad band connection on 20/08/2009 & after disconnection I am receiving call for bill from the airtel depots that I had not made payment after 20/08/2009, since I have surrendered the modem on 20/08/2009. Now how can I use internet there after.
                                Your recovery agents Mr. Ashok rana & chandkant oberai without lessening us only tortured me for making payment of bill which I have not used. I go under mental presser and paid the bill.
                                Please take necessary action against them. And grant the refund of amount which I have paid, i.e. Rs. 1380
                                If you will not take necessary action against them then I will be obliged to go court against the airtel departments.

                                Airtel/ MO — Recover payable charge

                                Sir, I recharged my mobile for Rs. 395 on 23rd january. But after this recharge the mobile office facility was activated on 4 Feb. I want to get my payable amount which was useless for me. Because between 23rd jan. to 4th Feb the mobile office facility was not available in my mobile. I have talked many times with customer care executive of Airtel but they told me that we already have sent MO setting at your number. They also said that whatever charged has been detection at your mobile number between 23rd jan to 4th Feb well be refundable. I have written complaint against it. And my complaint no is[protected]. Actually I have paid approximately Rs 150. My mobile no is [protected].

                                  Hi all,

                                  Airtel in chennai is cheating people by deducting money without consumer's knowledge by subscribing them to the paid value added services. Even though i have not enabled any service pack and all, they are

                                  I have been charged for a few subscription packs regularly without my knowledge - eg: Animation Pack - Rs.15, McPack - Rs.15 two times. so totally Rs. 45 in one month.

                                  I have not enabled any cricket pack and all, but one day i have received one message, which tells, your cricket pack validity is closed by today and please recharge your cricket pack today, like that i have received.

                                  If Airtel is reading this, please refund the money or I will have to report this matter to the consumer court.

                                  My prepaid balance is getting deducted for a services which I never activated.

                                  When I called to airtel call center they debited back amount which has been deducted and told me that all services have been deactivate.

                                  but after few days again I same thing happen.

                                  After talking to nodal officer of airtel I got very poor response.

                                  They are not ready to accept tihere mistake. They are saying that I have activated the services and thats why they are charging for that.

                                  On one hand they are saying its not there fault and on other hand they debited back my balance.

                                  I am planning to go in consumer court now.

                                    Since the day I have taken the connection I have been facing the problem of frequent disconnection. I have mad numerous complaints to Airtel customer care which has resulted in work arounds to provide temporary solution but the problem has never been fully rectified. The maximum time after the providing a work around the connection has worked is a day.

                                    Even after repeated complaints for a complete solution no one has been able to resolve the problem. I want to file a complaint against Airtel to refund the money which I have paid for the services which I have not received.

                                      Please go through the mail which i had sent to you on 24th June 2008, after several complaints made to 121 and mail sent to Air tel121 through email, As of today nothing had been done to set right the Narasingapuram/ Ritchie street towers.

                                      I have contacts With HNI`s and VVIP`s. Every day i contact or they call me. As i am in conversation, the voice brakes as well as get disconnected. What would they think is i am avoiding them. A few of them miss understood me and stopped contacting me. Hence i am the loser.
                                      As this number i am holding from day one of my mobile, i am not in a position to deactivate it. If you are not taking this seriously. Then i shall forward this complaint to Consumer complaints forum and all forward copies to the Media.
