Airtel — deduction of airtel prepaid balance without any information for undelivered services

Sir myself Dr. Dharm Gopal Gupta using airtel SIM (No-[protected]) since last two months which was ported from BSNL. I am also using airtel 2G internet service in my mobile. On date 19/03/2013 morning 7:30 AM , i was reading the times of india newspaper online. Suddenly I received a message that "thanks for downloading Val_fun_01 from airtel you have charged Rs 99.0." and 99 rupees were deducted from my main balance. I am very careful while using the net i never click on any such message or service even then they deduce my balance. This is really a mental harassment. What is this ??????/ In last 20 days two times I have been charged 5 rupees (each time) in a similar manner. Sir i want very strict and immediate action against such harassments. Sir it is not all about 99 rupees but this is about the harassment they are causing to the consumers. These companies are supposed to work for society but it is very disappointing and hurting that they always harass the poor people (poor means innocent- as they do not know consumer rights etc.).i have neglected these things many times but its too much. Now i am ready to take this matter in the court. So sir i hope that i will get an immediate justice. Thank you.

Dear Sir/Madam

I am a user of Airtel mobile service with the #[protected]. This is a lifetime prepaid account. I make a lot of ISD calls from my phone and thus I recharge my account with the top up option of Rs.555/-, almost after every one or two days. On 19th December, 2007 I went for a “ISD pack” offered by your company and paid RS.505/- for that. The transaction ID for the same is –[protected]. The balance for the same is still not credited to my account.
I called up the customer care unit of your company at [protected] yesterday evening and the person there was unable to help me with any information as your system was not working at that time. I went to a shop who offers Airtel services and did a normal top up with Rs. 555/- again and asked about this special packages. They told me it will get credited to my account after 48 hours and I will be getting my balance by 72 hours time maximum. But as it was more than 72 hours and I had to make an ISD call urgently so I called up your customer care unit again at 3 in the morning today.
The person I spoke to for the 1st time was not at all of any help and said there is no transaction reflected on his system against my account after 15th of this month. And when I told him about my urgent requirement so he transferred me to his supervisor who didn’t receive the call.
I disconnected and went ahead with all your voice instructions to connect with your another useless customer care person who gave me the same information with an additional information that I need to go to the dealer through whom I have done the transaction to solve the problem as they cannot do anything there even with the transaction ID I have. And further he connected me to his supervisor who again did not pick up the phone !!!!
I hung up and called your customer care again (don’t you appreciate my patience !!!!) this time it was another person with a little bit different information- I need to go to the Airtel office with my complain and no one else can do anything as that is the company policy !!!!
I hope whoever is reading the email will understand how much frustrating this is. I hung up and got a message within 3 minutes of that - I am unsubscribed from the “hello tune service”. What a great customer service.
I called up your customer care again and thank god this time it was someone who gave better news. My transaction for the ISD pack is reflected at his system and I will get the balance in my account by latest 23rd December, 6.00 p.m. GREAT !!!! at least someone has updated me. When asked about the “hello tune” (which in a very suspicious manner got unsubscribed at 3 in the morning) he said – it can be told only after another 6 hours as there is nothing about it at his system yet.

I am really amazed with the type of people a company like Airtel has to deal with its customer. I really want to hear from the higher authorities what they say about this sort of incidents. I do not intend to go on with a service provider who has this class of system to attend their customers. And I would surely take this matter to the consumer court if needed and if there is no immediate action after this email.

I would like a responsible person to contact me to resolve the issue as the call centres are not helpful at all and are totally ignorant.

Hope to get some response which will change my ideas.

I am having an Airtel prepaid connection for last 4 years. From last 3 months they are deducting a 25 rs charge for Friendz Chat which i had not applied for any subscription. And when i called thier customer care 121 for asking this service to be stopped and disconnected they never attened the call as by having a long wait the call gets disconnected. Could you please look into this issue and advice me to deal with this fraud??

Airtel — prepaid balance less without any information

Sir, I has airtel prepaid No. [protected].On the 24 apr09 .i wont use my cell suddenly i check my balance Rs100.less. So i am contact your customer care officer. he told me within 24Hrs it recharge my money Rs99. now already three days nothing to get.Pls check. replay me No[protected].

on 18 august 09 at 9:38am I got a message from airtel :
& at same time my 55 rs deducted, but I don't know why. i talk customer care but he not giving me right answer.so thats why i sent u this mail pls as quickly as possible for u pls return my balance.i hope that u understand my problem.

AirTel — deducting extra rupees from prepaid balance

hello,
my mobile no. is [protected]. I am using Airtel Prepaid connection. Is not activating any schemes except hello tunes n lower calling rates. But Airtel is deducting Rs.0.30 anytime in a day more than 20times from last 8 days. I s gone to Customer layout which is situated at paldi but they are not able to solve my problem.I gv written complaint over there. their staff told me that you got the complaint number via sms but still i didnt get it nor my problem was solved. plz as soon as look after it.

Im using airtel mobile service from several years. My mob no. is[protected].
From last two weeks the service provider deducting my balance under the activation of Spiritual Tips sms service, but that was not activated by me. Airtel deducting my balance by renewing the service without any pre-information. I dont want any additional services on my sim.
So, requesting to refund my balance which was wrongly deducted as soon as possible.

I have Airtel prepaid [protected]. on 7th november i did call to 5664466 for about 4mins which is suppose to charge @ 12/- perminute but I loss 220/- rupees balance just for that one call. Customer care didnt provide satisfying answer?? Can Anyone help Me?? What should I do?? Where should I complain further??

dear sir/madam, i am a user of airtel prepaid mobile and i m very fedup with the customer care services. actually on 16th february i was having 73 ruppes balnce in my account. and i activated 5 rupee plan for internet and without using internet my total balance was deducted...after that i called in customer care but they were just kidding with the customers and was taking it like a fun.they dont have enough knowledge about there work. and did not solved my problem..
so... i want a clarification and my balance details...
otherwise i am not going to take any of the services from your company..

I agree to outsource those thing which don't add value, or unnecessary increase investment but 1 thing i want to say that, i am airtel user, there were no problem in using of it but right now from few months Airtel doing idiotic things. they deduct money from balance. whenever i try call on customer care then its take too much time to connect and then i file a complaint regarding my balance deduction, then customer care try distract me. when i asked them what are the reason you deduct money from balance without informing then they said there is scheme activated on your number and it is subscribed by you. while truth is that i never subscribed any scheme by myself. when i told them please deactivate my scheme and never try to activate on my number but they didn't listen my request and they are still continue with and activate any scheme without giving any information.
i want tell one thing if Airtel thing that he is growing as comparison to their competitor then his thinking totally wrong. They cheating customers and earning money by doing their idiotic things. I am only the victim there are many customers are facing problems as like me.
If Airtel thinking they are very clever then it means they are foolish. they are insane in their work and in their scheme.
Me and my known persons are going to switch to other company. one promise i want to make it that in future i will not use airtel.
I have 1 request that please forward my complaint to the top management or to the owner of the company because i don't have any contact for conversation to the top management.

continuous messages from [protected] that matrimonial s services has been renewed in your mobile and you have been charged Rs 1 for 1 days of service. My balance is decreasing day by day. I have never subscribed for this service. Please get deactivated this service from my mobile no [protected]
