[Resolved]  Airtel Digital TV — HELL CUSTOMER CARE

I have purchased Airtel Digital TV on 28th of August 2011 and my customer id is [protected] .
But i realized the big mistake i made by choosing such a irresponsible company as DTH service provider.
I have following concerns:
1. Some time some channels shows the Connection lost screen (Error Code B0001).
2. In rain as well in drizzling it does not respond and hangs.
3. Whenever I called customer care they give me same stupid solutions :

* Restart your set top box.
* Unplug your cable and reconnect.
* Remove any obstacle in front of Dish.


Really a very bad DTH service provider.I suggest never buy Airtel Digital TV.

Airtel Digital TV — Poor experience with digital tv

Hi,

I am sugumar from chennai, I have taken a digital tv from airtel last year Nov.08 Customer ID [protected] for past two days Iam not watching any programmes on my digital tv because of my set top box is not working, I spoke several times in this regard to thier executives Mr.Kingsley, Mr.Karthik and some more, finally they gave the complaint no.734831 dated 28.5.09 but till the moment nobody has come to my house and rectify the problem.I wasted my time to speak with this executives even they are taking minimum of 20 to 25 minutes and they are asking to hold the line

then whom should i contact in this regard and what i will do with is set top box

AIRTEL -Network ; connectivity & service — Problematic AIR TEL

For many years I have been using Airtel connection & for many years I have been complaining about the network problems. It’s been observed that unfortunately there has been no solid action on the customer complaints.

There are several issues with Airtel network

1) Network Problem ( Connectivity)

2) Voice break or no voice.

3) Call drops. (If one call is coming while ongoing call. The ongoing call gets cut)

· Billing needs to be investigated.

It’s unfortunate that there are no calls from the company for the service issues. The customer service has been a major & regular issue.


At times the customer care unit people are unable to provide solutions or they possess a lack of knowledge about the systems.

As I have been suggested; I have got my SIM card changed more over I have changed my handset instruments as well but AIR TEL problems are still the same.

Request to kindly look in the matter. The action taken to fix the problem would be appreciated.
Hope the problems will be resolved

I didnt plan to buy to airtel digital tv.But it came along with my TV.. but when i started using it i realised that i shld'nt have taken that...Its such a sad company..irresposible..I tried 3 days continiously (dnt know how many times) to get in touch with customer care but no luck.I went to airtel relationship center.But they r ready to sale digital tv but not at all ready to help u.. Even they r not ready to give you any other number apart from the one which is mentioned in website..Everytime i tried to go for a top up all of my channels were blocked more than 4 hours whereas they say it'll take only 45 mins.. Its a rubbish...And probably noone can beat the level of poor service...I hav also used Tata Sky..Its cool... My advise is please please please DO NOT BUY AIRTEL DIGITAL TV even it comes FREE OF COST.

DTH connection — Don't Go with BIG TV..Worst Customer Service

Hi All

Dont buy BIG TV connection if you have any plan to opt DTH connection. We are suffering a lot with this service and very very very very very very very very very very very poorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr customer care serivice.Initially setup box software was not update properly and we had to follow up with them to rectify this issue for more than 10 days.After that when we try to recharge the channels the amount are not getting added into our account and still we are follwoing up with them. Our phone bill costs are raised ( keep on calling other customer care no not toll free ) more than what we have in recharge coupon..:-(

Airtel - Hyderabad — Airtel Number Change Request - Worst Service

I am using Airtel post from last 2 years . i given "Number Change" request in Airtel Show room (beside Life Style) Hyderbad on 2nd June 2009. today is Jun 6 th. while giving request consider person told me with in 4 hours it will be change . even after 5 days also its not activated. every day i am calling customer care. they are taking compliant and replying with in one hour its will solved . from last 5 days i am calling customer care regularly. but every day same response .

this is WORST service from Airtel -Hyderabad.

I think, most pathetic service back up of the company.The toll free number is rarely responsive. It is a task by itself to recharge or order a add on for a channel.Mr Mittal, you must take your customer executives to task to avoid erosion of company's reputation.
The toll free number remain unanswered from 0612 to 0625hr on 07 Jun 09. Please pin point responsibility for the callous executive.
If your toll free number is not accessible how do I add on ESPN package to view the T 20 World Cup.Can I do it on net ?

The remote received with the new set on 05 May 09 could never be integrated with my TV.Now the remote itself is not functioning. Can you direct someone to either change or make the remote functional ?

on 6.06.2009 i had send sms for adding ESPN on 54325 mo.at 7 PM. but till 07.06.2009 ESPN is not visible on my tv. your toll free no. is not working from last three days.my id. no.is [protected] & my mob.no. is [protected]. balance is sufficient in my account.

Airtel Digital TV — Unable to view channel inspite of they charge the money.

I am not able to view basic channel as well as paid channel.After putting complain still no response from their side.Airtel is i think has emerge as horible service provider in india.
I strongly agree on the Subject...I am also facing the same problem Not able to reach customercare since 10 day.My requested package are not yet updated..

at last month 24 may airtel send me mesg Az promo they mention that the scheme of 50paise call rate on ur mobile without any condition upto 5 june after my campus plan converted into basic plan i complain again n again to cc but they r telling after 24 hr u r card converted into campus again but after 7days condition is as it is plz help me what to do?
They are cheats. I subsribed Aitel DTH. Even after 12 days no installation. The customer care tele no tollfreeone does not exist. The tolled no simply makes you wait for an executive and then the line goes dead.

Hello,

I bought Airtel digital TV ultra pack from dealer in bangalore. Paid full Rs 2500 with 3 months subscription free for the same on 4th June. Activation happened only on 7th June. Reason given was wrong pin code given by dealer earlier. Due to this they generated two cutomer ID for me [protected] on 4th june and [protected] on 7th June. On 12th June my service went down I was not able to receive any channels. I called up customer care and they said your account is not recharged and needs to be rechaged for Rs 750/-. I called up dealer on same day dealer did the recharge on same day amd asked me to wait for 1 day. Next day also my service didn't resumed. I called up again to customer care and they said it's been recharged by dealer to old ID and need to transfer it to new ID and it will take another 2 days. Dealer also raised the complaint for the same. Till date my service is not resumed and calling cuatomer care is not helping atall.

It's a situation were I have paid full amount but not able to view any channels almost for a month now.

I have decided to go to consumer court now. Lets see what happens. But urge all those willing to take Airtel connection to think twice before they go for it.

BIG TV — Customer care is not reachable

Big Tv sucks. For any issues, the customer care is never never never reachable. Keeps you on hold for hours together with no response.
Never ever buy this. Pay a little higher and go for better service provider

Airtel Digital TV — for signal lost
