SUB:AIRTEL SIM No:[protected] from Hyderabad.


For the purpose of my IPAD I had taken the above SIM card on 14th Dec.2011 in Hyderabad from the Banjara Hills Branch of the AIRTEL office. After using it for two weeks I decided I was not going to use the same. I went to the Madhapur branch of AIRTEL office and asked them to disconnect the SIM and settle the bill. I was asked to pay an amount of Rs.760 which was paid at the counter at about 3pm on 18th Jan.2012.I reconfirmed from the person manning the counter at the Madhapur office regarding disconnecting and I was assured it is done and was told to throw the SIM. I did so and walked into Vodafone office and bought a new prepaid SIM on the same day.

This complaint is to inform you regarding the constant harassment from the AIRTEL office regarding the outstanding payment and today there was a call from their legal cell. Each time they call me I asked them to put me to any senior and explained to them that I disconnected the service and am not using the SIM any more and settled the bill in the Madhapur office after disconnecting it.

After explaining the same to the legal cell they said they 'll find the details and called back to say that the SIM was not used but it was not disconnected after the payment and the monthly rent was however credited to my account, so he asked me to pay some amount and settle the bill.On requesting that he should put the same in writing and send me an e-mail he refused to do so.I request you to please look into the issue. I refuse to pay the AIRTEl as it is not my mistake and if it is the mistake of the executive sitting at the desk on the said date, I'm not paying for the same.

I'm constantly disturbed and harassed for the same and request you to please take some action.I would in fact demand an apology from them for the constant harassment and compensation for the same.

My name is Harini . I had an Airtel postpaid mobile connection (+91-9900XXXXXX - Bangalore number) . This year in June I relocated out of India and I wanted to disconnect my line. I called the customer care in mid-June this year and checked on the process. They said that just before leaving I should call and inform that I want disconnection. I asked what I should do with the SIM..if that should be returned and I got a reply that it would not be necessary. I said I wanted disconnection from the 30th of June and they informed me that I should call on 30th and request for the same.
As I was advised, I called on 29/30th of June and requested for disconnection and then left India.

Now one of my friends and then my father got a call and was informed that there was some outstanding amount pending to be paid. Firstly I am disappointed that I was not informed about this earlier. And it was really atrocious that from my frequent call list, they have called my contacts asking about this. I think this is an invasion of privacy as it could really spoil my reputation. My dad informed the customer care executive that whatever the outstanding balance is as of 30th June, he would arrange for it to be paid if they would send a itemized bill for the same. He also gave the agent the address to send the itemized bill. We are yet to receive a bill after this.

I am extremely disappointed with the way my call list has been checked and calls have been made to my contacts. Me and my family have been customers of Airtel for a long time and I am really shocked about the events that have taken place. It would be good if you can directly correspond with me instead of disturbing members of my family etc.

I have taken a new number from Airtel [protected] in the month Oct 2008. This number is given to me after 15 days of shuffel with various other numbers, which could not be activated due to various reasons. Finally they have activated [protected]. After two days, I have recived a call from Vishnu...who claims that this number belongs to him and asks me for details like who had given me this number and various other questions. After that one of the Airtel Showroom manager(Malkajgiri) had called me and enquired about the same questions(who, where and how i got thsi connection). After that, i was relaxed and never received any call fro any one. Now to my surprise, i have received a message from airtel stating to pay the due bill, other wise my out going will be barred. For this reason, i have registered on Airtel and found that there are other numbers exists on this account and there is previous due. The very next day they have de-activated my connection. Now when some one calls my number, it says the number is invalid. I have decided to go for HUTCH connection and will never come back to Airtel being this kind of harrasement has been done to me. I would also suggest others, not to take Airtel since they charge some hidden charges as well.

Airtel — Mobile bills even after disconnection. And no responce even after repeated calls

I have unsubscribe the airtel mobile connection ([protected]). and got the recipt of disconnection request, and I was to get my deposite back. But airtel people keep sending me bills. and i mailed them many times stating this connection is cancelled with no responce from them.
they keep sending me notice and I have replied to the contact person on this notice. they said it will be taken care. As I have all the recipt about disconnection.
but finaly they send me a notice to appear to court.

I guess Airtel does not want to pay me back my deposite so they started asking me to pay mothly rent even after discontinue the connection.

Such a shame ful act from airtel when its clearly the case of ignorance of there staff. and we have to suffer.
I HAD TAKEN AIRTEL PREPAID CONNECTION A FEW YEARS BACK ( [protected]). AT THAT TIME, FOR LIFETIME INCOMING FREE CONNECTION, RS. 99/- HAD TO BE PAID EVERY MONTH. I DULY PAID RS.99/- FOR SIX-SEVEN MONTHS. THEN, A SCHEME WAS LAUNCHED FOR LIFETIME INCOMING FREE CONNECTION ON A ONE TIME PAYMENT OF RS.400/- OR SO. I WAS ADVISED BY THE LOCAL AIRTEL OFFICE TO GO FOR THE NEW SCHEME AS STAYING IN THE OLD SYSTEM WOULD MEAN A LOSS OF 100/- TO 200/- RUPEES. ACCORDINGLY, I MADE ONE TIME PAYMENT TO HAVE LIFETIME INCOMING FREE FACILITY. RECENTLY, MY PHONE SERVICES HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED. ON ENQUIRY, IT WAS REVEALED THAT IT HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED BECAUSE THE PHONE WAS NOT BEING USED FOR OUTGOING CALLS TO THE EXTENT THE COMPANY DESIRED AND THAT IT WAS IN LINE WITH TRAI REGULATION. I FEEL GROSSLY CHEATED. I HAD A BALANCE OF MORE THAN RS. 200/-. BESIDES THE COMPANY HAD TAKEN MORE THAN RS. 1200/- FROM ME FOR PROVIDING LIFETIME INCOMING SERVICES.
I have opt for airtel post paid connection 10 days before([protected])
. All the documents necessary has been submitted. Personal verification also done. Based on these the sim card got activated.
After one week o[censored]sage one message has come, address proof (attested copy with Company seal )is not proper hence provide the same, other wise the out going facility will be disconnected without mentioning timeline.
Then everything went on their way at last they acheived their target of providing me as * sim card message error*

If any anthing they required prior to card activation it should taken up with customer and it should be activated.
The service provider will give a "bull sorry" for the happenings on the 121 and respective outlet services.
Now my card is disconnected, until rectified i should wait no other option left out.
Taking airtel connection takes 10 days for activation . i think opt for other good service provider .
We want to disconnect our number which is[protected] due to bussiness closing . we called your helpline number last 20 days but no response was showen to it and we also visit your jalhander office but they didnt gave us good responses due to your office server down . pls disconnect it as soon as possible otherwise we will not pay any proceeding bill payments

I am an AIRTEL customer for the last 5 years & always having an credit balance in my AIRTEL ACCOUNT. My no is[protected].
My connection has been disconnected for the last 10 days & I am repeatedely complaining but no action has been taken so far & I do not know the reason for disconnection also & I have a credit balance .
My one more query is pending for almost 3 months, ie An amount of Rs 600/- has been debited from my bank account & has not been credited to my AIRTEL account & the hard copy proof/ fax copy & complaint regarding this has been repeatedly given, but nothing has been done.Apart from this I have A credit balance & my line is disconnected for no reason.

Thru their telemarketing agents I purchase sim card with special number. For this special number I paid Rs.2000/- as a premium as per their demand. Subsequently i received bill for Rs.67/- and the same has been paid immediately. After this my sim card was disconnected without any information. This special number I have purchased for my new business. But I could not start my new business till date and now I am incurring a heavy loses.

I visited their offices but they are not giving any reply or solution.

i have an official postpaid airtel connection - [protected] in Delhi. The same i intended to disconnect due my transfer wef 01 sep 09. I visited airtel outlet at canaught place and requested to disconnect the number. they had agreed to do so. After that i surprised to find the monthly bills. Due to my transfer, i received the old bills now. Now I requested to do the needful and disconnect the connection ([protected]) with effect from 01 Sep 09 and settle the bills.

My Name is Vishwanath saxena, I have tried to get my cell no [protected]. disconnected permanentaly so may times but same has not been disconnected timely and now airltel is charging me rental which is on 2500/- + tax per month for additional 2 month .
I had tried to submit disconnection via 121 customer care but it never responded . i tried writting a mail to Airtel executives but none got replied .
Now Airtel is tring to force me to pay the rental for those additional months and thretening me that they will go to some recovery agency and mishandle me focefully .

to forcce me they are trying to melign my reputation by calling people in my call list and asking them to threten me to pay immidiately ealse face the consiquece.

Person who are involved are Miss soniya and Mr Sahil Dogra.
Pls suggest me if i should ask Police for Protection too as i have been thretened of misshandling too.
I had asked for disconnection of my internet and fixed line no.46546796 on 15th march 2010.I keep calling Airtel helpline who keep assuring me that it is under process.I have also been informed that I have asked for reconnection not once but more than once.I have all along been assured that no rental will be charged after 15th march.It is 8th may today and Airtel helpline informs me that it has still not been disconnected.
I wish to state that:
1. I have never asked for reconnection .It is just a figment of Aitels imagination.
2.Please arrange to refund all amounts paid by me towards rental after 15th march 2010.
3.Please investigate as to who gave the go ahead for the reconnection.Certainly not me.

i recently purchased an Airtel sim with the no.[protected] after submitting all my required dox.It was not funny when i realized that my sim was barred for all incoming and outgoing calls. after contacting the local 198 i was ordered to go to the distributor who sits only 60kms away and i had to run from the retailer to distributor to resubmit all my dox once again else i was told that i would have to forfeit all my money in the a/c. i did as was told else my nmbr which i had shared with all my biz colleagues would change and eventually the loss in many ways would be mine , hence i had to succumb to the blackmail - harrassment and torture.
the dist and r.m. assured me that things were in order qand hence i cud go back home with the verbal assurance that there will be no future problems.
this happened between 25th and 28th may.
and then not too surprisingly after 15 days my nmbr was pushed out of the system confirming my fears that no matter how hard u try pathetic organisations will always remain the same on the pretext of procedures and helplessness - wonder if the telecom ministr who is getting fat commissions and fatter biz which we are giving him has something called systematic functionalities lined up not to mention if he does have a remedy to resolve this concern that has resulted in this loss mounting to a crore.he will hardly take a look at such loopholes forgetting that futuristically speaking some day his ministry will be responsible and answerable for this trauma.

I received an sms on 25th November 2010 asking me to resubmit documents regarding address proof and ID proof for my mobile number [protected].
I re-submitted the relevant documents at Airtel resubmission centre near BDA complex, Indiranagar on the 26th of November 2010 ( Form no[protected].
On 27th I got another sms stating that I should submit my documents otherwise my outgoing will be barred.
I have been using this number since 2005. For the first two years as post paid and then the rest as pre-paid. I fail to understand why Airtel cannot keep track of the documents submitted when buying their sim cards. I want to know why the customer gets only three days to submit forms?
I have a balance of Rs 1000.00 in my account. What happens to that? Will Airtel repay me my money with interest?
Its high time Airtel stops acting stupid as the main person behind its success: the customer, can easily spend his/her money elsewhere and bring the company's balance sheet into loss.

Iam using 02 Airtel connections and i recently submitted same proofs in Malakpet for two connectins. But Airtel disconnected one connection ([protected]) and they are saying that proofs are not submitted by me. At that time amount is 170/- aound in my connection. i asked to transfer of refund my amount to Airtel. I sent several mails to airtel and nodal officer of airtel also.but no use.

I Routhu chaitanya Airtel mobile phone no[protected] postpaid holder would like to complaint about their unlawful action of disconnecting my phone . I have paid the bill amount of RS 5000/- approximately in airtel franchise office at pedawaltair visakhapatnam on06.05.2011. Immediately they have restored the connection. But within couple of days again they have disconnected the phone. I have sent my friend to Airtel office at visakhapatnam pedawalltair office with the bill. They have seen the bill and restored the connection for few days. Now again they say that amount is not credited to the account.I T must have been erroneously connected to another account or some body has commited fraud. I therefore request you to enquire with the Visakhapatnam peddawaltair office and restore my connection as early as possible.
I have paid the amount due on this phone on06.05-2011.U have disconnected the phone three times. In spite of the in formation given to you over phone your customer care center never bothered to verify the facts.It is only when i have given the complaint by email u have responded. It is disgusting.After paying the amount also is it necessary that we are subjected to this humiliation.Please be careful in future and don"t hurt the customers sentiments.

I recently ported to airtel from vodafone as I bought apple iPhone 4 from airtel and wanted to keep the old number which is [protected] As requested I provided all documents to my local dealer last month. Services also started immediately but for some reason which I was later told fail verification. incoming and outgoing got disconnected on 13/06/11. I went to my local dealer but I was told to go to airtel relationship centre. I went to aurotel in Yusuf Sarai, new Delhi. They didn't take my documents saying I didn't buy sim card from them. I called customer service from there and asked the to talk the person. Again he didn't take documents even customer service person on the phone asked him too. Then i was told the issue would be sorted out soon. Evertime I call since then I have to repeat everything all over and then call is put on hold, finally disconnected after 15 minutes. It happened 14-15 times. I then submitted two piece of documents at airtel distribution centre at malviya nagar. I didn't get any feedback and I am suffering for last 6 days with no incoming or outgoing calls. Don't even know what calls I am missing on. Can't go back to vodafone because of 90 days rule. Don't know what to do. I have running around for last 5 days. I wish I didnt port to airtel. Please contact me on [protected] alternate number.

I am Arviend Bhiide n I have Mobile Prepaid [protected]. I received sms saying I hav 2 resubmit enrollment form n I submitted in Kondhwa Relationship Office on 7th January 2011. But my mobile connection fr incoming n outgoing is disconnected since 8pm on 7th January 2011. I was assured by Relationship executive that all in order n service will continue. Its sad that Airtel Service is causing so much inconvinience 2 genuine customers who hav same Mobile No. since years.If Airtell wanted 2 hav documents, they shd give enough time 2 customers. Ad hoc disconnection is just a rude way of handling customers. Honestly I am unhappy with the ways of Management which are like Government Agency.
I was using an vodafone number from a long time. On last December I got my number port from vodafone to airel and before porting i submitted my mothers voter id for address and id proof. after switching to airtel, they asked me to submit the address and id proof. I did submit it thrice after switching to airtel.
after that everything went fine.
Last month i,e on Feb 13th they disconnected the service. when I enquired, they reasoned that the address and id proof that is provided has not been accepted.later when I demand for the service, they said that the number I was using cannot be provided. And for further details you to contact the vodafone centre. when I contact the vodafone centre they said, we can't do anything in this, sorry.

Totally I lost my number and lost my contacts with others.
please try to help me out in solving this and help me in getting my number back

No action has been taken on my complaint. I'm disappointed with the way the airtel is working...
I have taken new Sim of M.No.[protected], [protected], [protected] on[protected]. and company is charging monthly rent on which period i have not used. and i have informed to company several times but they are not doing any thing.

2. I have submitted one application on[protected] on Agra Cell Phone , Kamla Nagar, Agra for Postpaid Connection to Pre Paid Connection of Following Numbers :- [protected], [protected], [protected]. but till today company has not taken any action .

I was a postpaid customer of airtel for the past one year having a security deposit of Rs 300.00
I have converted above mentioned number from postpaid to prepaid on 24 april 2012 by clearing outstanding bill, submiting fresh application with passport copy and photo @ airtel office in frazer town bangalore. Within a day it was converted to prepaid.
Suddenly on 6th of may outgoing call facility was disconnected. When i spoke to customer care executive he says document was incomplete and have to resubmit the document
i have resubmitted the document on 7th may @ airtel office at frazer town bangalore but still nothing has been done

This is to inform you that I wanted to surrender my Airtel Mobile number. But neither on airtel outlet center nor on 121 customer care is listening me.

As on now 27 Oct, 2012 my mobile outstanding bill is Rs. 744.

Firstly, I went to Uttam Nagar (Delhi) airtel Service center on 26 Oct, 2012 they said If I return my Mobile number I would need to pay, my outstanding bill and I will keep getting my mobile bill for 1.5 months until connection closed. Moreover they asked me to pay Rs. 850 as my outstanding bill Rs.744 and about Rs. 100 for other charges.

When I revisited to sencond Airtel Outlet on sector-4, Dwarka 28 Oct, 2012. I requested to Mr. Sandeep (staff) that take my Mobile SIM, Total Mobile outstanding Bill and my application to disconnection number and give me a receipt. He replied that he had submitted me request and after 10 days I would get a call from customer care for asking me reason of terminating the connection. After that further process can take place.

He was not ready to take my Mobile SIM, Total Bill and Application. He also said there is no provision to disconnection connection instantly. I’ll have to go through long procedure It may take upto 1 month than I’ll have pay outstanding bill (whatever will be up to on that day).

I recently received a SMS having a Reference No: 46734210 and will update me further on 6 Nov, 2012 about my connection status.

I am surprised and disturbed why they don’t simply disconnect my connection.

Hope you could understand that they simply want me to continue Airtel service, even I do not want to continue it anymore.

I was using airtel broad band for more than year during after a month i was not satisfied on thier billings then i asked to get me a hard copies for my bill they said they will be giving through courier but i was not getting it but when i asked customer care they said it was delivered to my address and my watchman got it signing it but we dont have a wactman then i dint pay my bill for a month then disconnected my service but the bill was genrating for months suddenly they were asking for 5000+ for + months rent but i wasnt using the connection.the line was not active. When i asked them calling they where telling me that its not matter weather the line is active or not u hav your connection so yyour billing will be generated then i requested a discnnecion but they where telling you cant disconnect the line if you hav pendings. my complaint and question is can they charge customers for inactive line..? There was not active line.

    I am also using land line and more then 4-5 Post paid no's of Airtel.

    Few years back also i complain that your software which you are using for billing, In that Tax calculation system is wrong. At that time you have a plan that if any error in bill you will give discount of 100/-. So lots of months you give me discount. later when I talk to your resignal office in Jaipur they agree that some error and they will solve this problem.

    If you wish you can check in the same phone no. by same name (Rajeev Parashar) old details.

    Now again same error is coming in your bill. Today when i Talk to your customer care department that say its error of just 2 Pisa.

    According to my information you have 152.2 Million customer as on 2010.

    If you Charge from every customer even 2 Pisa, This comes 30,44,000/- every month

    Now I not have my all present bills, Just sending you my 4 bills details. If you relay wish even I can submit 10 Years old bills also which I have till now with me.

    Also your customer care persons don't know that what actually billing process. You can check the today's recording. According to her Tax money charged before discount. I requested to stop my phone that also she refuse.

    Personal — Wrong Tax Calculation

    I have paid my total outstanding well before the due date 16May08 of Rs8567.00 .
    I got confirmation message from the Bank that my amount of Rs.8567.00 has been credited to my account and my due is Rs.8566.11.
    But still showing some outstanding to my account.How and why its coming.
    On this regard I put many complaints to the customer care but still it can't solve it out instead saying form the next statement it will deducted
    so wait for the next statement.Now it already two months and Bank suspened my card for the this due .
    Its nothing but poor Bank and worst customer care.Instead of solving out the problem you are running after the customer for the wrong tax calculation.
    Hope soon you will soon recheck the deatils and sovle.

      I had booked one Airtel Dish Tv through on line booking after getting the confirmation from your customer care centre that channel Zee Jagran Channel is available in your Dish. On 9th instant, the Dish was installed at my residence and the payment was also made through on line for the same.

      To my surprise, I find that Zee Jagran Channel is not aired through Airtel Dish and this fact was communicated through phone to your customer care at Bombay. On my query, the customer care informed that you do not have Zee Jagran Channel hence, expressed your inability.

      I contacted your grievance cell also who informed that they are checking up with your Mumbai office and let me know so far nothing has been done.

      In view of the above, you are requested to take back the Dish and refund the amount paid by me after getting the confirmation that Zee Jagran is aired through you. You can kindly go through the recordings of the conversation between myself and your customer care at the time of booking to know the exact position.

      It is once again indicated that this act of yours tantamount cheating hapless public and liable to be prosecuted under Indian Panel code. To avoid such a situation, refund the amount paid by me immediately and take back your Dish Antenna at the earliest as I have lost faith in you.

        Hello,

        Airtel has certain budget on advertisement it seems. They give the add that we have these all are plan, when we approach them they say that there is no port available in your area. Sorry for the inconvienance. These are the standard statement used by the customer care team.

        I guess by getting the call to the customer care number they are increasing the revinew of their mobile service. But as the customer we are reaching them for utilizing the technology efficiently. We are spending our precious time but they dont bother about it.

        Since they are grown in the market they dont worry about the customer needs. Again Worst service from Aritel.

        Note: I have used Aritel Broadband in my earlier house and they were not able to transfer to my new house. The number which I used was given to some one else.

AFTER 3 DAYS WHEN I AGAIN TRIED TO CALL THEM THEY DIDN'T PICKED UP MY CALL AFTER 2-3 DAYS I RECEIVED A MESSAGE THAT MY REQUEST FOR POSTPAID CONNECTION CAN NOT BE PROCESSED. SO I AGAIN CALLED THEM FOR REFUND OF MY PAID MONEY THEY DIDN'T PICKED UP THE CALL AND EVEN THE AIRTEL COSTUMER CARE PEOPLE ARE NOT HELPING ME OUT AND MY 300 RUPEES IS IN DARK.             I deposited 98 Rs. in Airtel money (airtelmoney.in) a/c, now when I want to transact with this a/c they are asking for Mpin which is shown expired, when I contacted to customer care they are saying you will get new mpin when you provide us right date of birth details but they are saying date of birth is not matching with their data, so I don't understand how I deal with it when every time I provide the right d.o.b., My airtel no. is [protected].
            I know and remember by old mpin but they are saying it doesn't matter.

                Airtel - Digital TV — Mishandling of customers with inappropriate information

                we got airtel HD Digital connection free with our Sony LCD Bravia on 16 Feb 2011. After making hundreds of calls, we were able to get our customer ID created at the name of my husband, Shakaib Azhar Chaudhry, customer ID [protected]. Later after recharge of INR 1000 for installation, we gave all the details like TV model no, serial number, card scratch and PIN two times to their customer care executive, who fixed an appointment for next day i.e 18 Feb 2011 at 5 pm. I took half day off from work to get it done as customer care executive dint have have time after that. Neither engineer did not turn up at the assigned time nor informed us. When we managed to get customer executive again after making n number of calls, executive says, our account is not active and asked for all details again. Can they expect their customers to carry bills or required numbers after giving details many times plus they say they can’t help. O the top of that ask for details again and expect us to keep waiting for another day for installation. When we insisted they said you can talk to our engineer, whose number they gave , turned out to be incorrect.
                And I am still making calls to airtel customer care to make their executives understand the issue and lodge complaint. Hopeless.


                This is the heights o[censored]nprofessionalism from such a big brand. This clearly shows India companies need to really upscale in terms of quality to think even to survive in market and compete with extremely professional international brands

                Airtel — mishandling of customers account

                Hi Sir/Madam,
                This is to bring to your kind attention about an incident of misuse of privilages given to your internal/external employees.
                Yesterday, at approx 07:45 pm my number was barred.i called up 198 services to enquire about the reason.i was informed that the number has been barred because the phone or sim has been reported to be lost.There were no further information given about the incident.enquiring further,i could figure out that it was done by one your employees mischievously.As i was informed,theres no notes on the account to specify the reason or the callers details.It just gives the executives name.im 110% sure that it cant be somebody of my aquaintances,good or bad.It has to be one your employees , internal or external.
                I demand an investigation about this whole incident.As per my understanding,privilages given to employees,at no time,must be misused,to cause customers inconvinience.
                I also demand a compensation for my losses i incured having to go through the inconvinience of not having the services available.
                Also,regardless,i would love to bring this to the notice of the consumer court to get into further investigation.its very sad for a company as huge as Airtel to be loosing customer for incident very much similar.there a lot of instances happening where customers informations are misused , shared , privilages being used , which sooner or later might cause huge financial loses and might get the reputation at stake.
                I have faced same problem from deepak soni . I did a lot of email to him about my complaint but he never reply to me.

                I purchased airtel DTH connection on 23 june 2012 but i could not continue with DTH connection. I just email him to refund my amount back.
                but till date i didnt get any response back from him.

                  I have Called Mr.Kiran Bhopal ([protected]) sales/marketing person from Airtel to place an order for Airtel Digital TV (setoff box). I have called him on 2nd June, 2012 to place an order and always he was saying call me after 2-3 days and the installation will take place only within ½ an hour. Then one person came on Wednesday Dated 13/06/12 from Frontline and collected the cheque and promised that today before 8:00pm the engineer will come and install the box. Then I have received a call from Mr.Aslam at 4:30pm and he said the engineer will be there within ½ an Hour. Every hour I have called him and the practice was he was keeping me hold for 10 minutes and phone got disconnected and he never calls me again. I have called several times to Frontline they also saying that within ½ an hour somebody will attend the call. Then I have got the about 4-5 Sms and it was regarding thank you for selecting our product etc. Again I have received one SMS and the sms was like your complaint Mum [protected] will be serviced by our engineer Mr.Vijay Chikhalkar and his contact no. is [protected]. I have called him and he also replied he will be coming within ½ an hour. Also I have received a SMS saying your call has been closed successfully thanks. But unfortunately no body has come to my place. Then again I have received one more SMS like Installation manager call for install [protected] at 8:20pm. I have called him and he said I have not received any call from my office and he is not aware of such installation and now today it is not possible he will come only on Friday or Saturday. On their promised I have not gone anywhere and sitting at home but the work never completed.

                  I have told that installation manager to come next day early in the morning to complete the work after long discussion with him and with frontline he has promised that he will be coming at 10:30 Next day on Thursday morning Mr. Dutta Installation engineer started the installation and it took almost 3 hours and by 2:00pm he said that your box has to be kept power on and the connectivity will happen within an Hour. After 2 hours noting happened and I have called Engineers, Airtel office, Frontline office but noting happened.

                  Then the person from Frontline came to receive his receipt book which he has forgotten at my residence and he found that the setoff box which Airtel has supplied was not correct one. They have supplied High Definition box instead of General box which I have applied. So connectivity will be happened only on Friday when they will replace the box.
                  Now the question is when I have applied for general setoff box then how they have supplied high definition box.

                  There is no co-ordination between engineers, between sales/marketing teem. No communication between frontline and airtel. While getting the order they promise several things to the customers and they asked us to fill the contract form with all our details but those details never goes to engineers or installation manager. Those details which we are giving to them with proper address, contact no etc. then also the engineers will call you and they will request you to send Address through SMS.
                  From last two days I have stopped all my day to day work. I was simply sitting at home and waiting for installation manager to come and install and finally noting happened so far.

                  This is really shameful and bad service given by Airtel. I will request them to improve the service skill and don’t make a habit of mental stress to the customers and fooling them.

                  Please see that if you can do some change and action on the same.

I was very surprised to know that it get cancelled because not using for last 3 months. Last 4 years I am working in Oman and when ever I am coming on vacation am using this sim and still using the sim here in Oman as well. My last recharge done in February 2012.                           NUMBER DELETED, RECHARGE AMOUNT LOST

                          I had purchased airtel 3G dongle with 3g sim card for Rs. 999 from Mobile Store, Colaba. The number is [protected].

                          After using it for 1 month, I recharged the card with Rs. 750 on 12/12/11 for 3G internet.

                          After 2 days of Recharge, my prepaid number was deleted from airtel database. I went to Lower Parel Lobby quite a few times, but to no avail. I was given a new sim card saying that the number will be activated on this new sim card and I will get Rs. 750 recharge back.

                          But nothing happened. I sent complains on 121 but nothing.

                            When asked about the refund status, they said I will get a call from airtel with in 15 working days and cheque will be confirmed.
                            It been 20days now. when trying to reach the people, they never pick up the call. I have called them nearly 50 times.

                                Airtel has provided a bill of 4500/- instead of 750/- which is the plan. Airtel resists to correct this bill by providing a reversal. Technical details provided prove that the bill plan communicated to me and applied at backend are two different thing.
                                bill details provided for March 2012 is as below. The below bill was given for a 7Gb data usage for the month of March. By the time the case was logged with technical team, the second month bill too was generated with same figure. Even providing the written communication with the Airtel team on Plan change requested and plan change applied and communicated to me did not make a difference.

                                Hello Rakesh Ranga,
                                I see your message that the issue described above is resolved. I disagree. There is no resolution given for the above mentioned issue. I got a email as early as 23/Jun/2012 from Airtel to pay up 9233 due for 2 months of datacard usage. Please see the attachment along with this post. The screen shot of my home page in Airtel login is as per attached. It still says to pay up Rs. 9233.00 for 2.5 months of Data Card usage where as the charges as per my plan should be 750*2.5 = 1875/- or 2000/- max. Please check and get back to me as to what resolution have you provided.
                                From my inteaction with the technical team i could find that the plan change raised for
                                B2B Datacard 899 Plan to Plan 3G Datacard 750 Plan
                                was wrongly applied as some other plan. The plan change asked for and applied as informed me was 750/- Max monthly rent for 3.5 GB usage and rest unlimited with a reduced speed.

                                  I am Aurko Ray currently working as the Area Business Manager for Hindustan Unilever...This mail is pertaining to two of my mobile numbers which were from the Karnataka circle (Bangalore)..The numbers are as follows

                                  [protected]- Platinum Number
                                  I had used both these numbers for a period of 18months.My payment track record has been impeccable to say the least and this is something which can be corroborated and validated from your records..However from the month of Jan 2012 I have moved to Hyderabad and since then I have been using an Hyderabad Airtel number ([protected])....As there was a delay in the activation of my Hyderabad number, I continued using my Bangalore number ([protected])..However from the Month of Feb 2012, I have ceased to use both my Bangalore numbers.

                                  In the meantime I started getting calls from your collection department regarding the non payment of my dues...The outstanding payment for both the numbers put together was in the range of 12K...However I spoke to the concerned person Mr.Pandian ([protected]) stating that I was willing to settle both the bills for an amount of Rs 8k and asked for a waiver for the balance amount...Mr Pandian at that point in time stated that if I make the payment before the 31st of May he can waive off the remaining amount..He stated that since he has collection targets he was willing to waive provided I made the payment on or before the 31st of May 2012 and he also made it clear if I make this payment in the month of June I would have to make the entire payment....To be honest I was quite happy with the settlement figure since I was not using the numbers any which ways and I felt a lot of those charges levied on my account were unreasonable.

                                  On the 31st of May 2012, I made a payment of 6k for my [protected] number and a payment of 2k towards [protected] and called up the collection agent Anitha ([protected])...She assured me that I will not be getting any more calls for both my numbers and also she would be sending me a settlement letter confirming the payment,the subsequent waiver and the cancellation of both my numbers...However after a lull for a period of 2 weeks or so I again start getting mails regarding the non payment of my previous dues and since I had these conversations in good faith I assumed these were auto generated mails and never paid too much heed to it.

                                  In the meantime I also started getting umpteen number of calls from one Mr. Syed ([protected]) asking me if i would like to convert my Bangalore numbers to prepaid...I categorically told him that I was no longer staying in Bangalore..I also updated him about my payment of 8k and asked him to cancel both those numbers (he confirmed that he would be doing the same)...On the 13th of June 2012 I again get a letter from Airtel regarding the non payment of my dues and they ask me to contact Mr.Syed [protected] for any queries...Now this is when I press the panic button..I called him up to only get a shocker saying the numbers were not yet cancelled and that it was still showing as 'LIVE' on your system...I immediately call up Anita ([protected]) the agent who was coordinating earlier, she tells me that my letter is under process and that she would be sending me a letter by the end of the day....Not convinced with her reply I call up Mr.Pandian, however this time the phone gets answered by Mr. Joshua who tells me that he would call me up in the next 10 min... Since I didn't get a revert from him I called him up 48 times between 745pm-830pm (not exaggerating!!!!)..Not once did he have the courtesy to answer my call or revert seeing those missed calls.

                                  I decided to take matters to hand and I visited your customer center at Begumpet (Hyderabad)...I spoke to the manager of the center Mrs. Preeti Sehgal ([protected]) and explained her my situation...She in turn tried Mr. Pandian number and even then he didn't the phone...After a few more tires he finally answers the phone telling her that he would get back with the details by afternoon and it was 1140 pm already!!!!..While i was still at the Airtel office I get a call from[protected] saying that my waiver request was not accepted and I still have to make a payment of 3k...I immediately call up Mr. Pandian and he just goes back on his word...He tells me that he had never agreed for a waiver in the first place and I would have to pay the outstanding amount.

                                  Is this what customer service is all about...Since I was dealing with a company like 'Airtel' most of my conversations were in good faith..I expected that since i already made a payment of 8k I would be getting a settlement letter confirming the same and they would also cancel my numbers which I have been crying hoarse about...Is this how you treat your loyal customers????...Are you guys only operating to collect dues from your customers...You should in that case stop pumping so much money towards your various campaigns trying to create a feel good factor and re emphasizing customer service and support..At this juncture I don't know who I should be dealing with this matter...I am totally distressed by the kind of treatment meted out to me..The worse part is when I am trying to explain my situation to Anitha, I hear her giggling away to glory instead o[censored]nderstanding my situation and perhaps empathizing with me..Your customer service sucks PERIOD!!!!..They are neither courteous nor can they speak basic English..The standards are appalling to say the least.

                                  I would expect a more positive response for a more responsible authority to reaffirm my faith in your system..I would expect people to be more courteous!!!!

                                        i was using your postpaid service, but currently i am residing in saudi arabia, so i requested to disconnect the service, due to this reason i requested your officer through letter on 11/01/2008 at AMBATTUR ROOTS branch and also requested on 121 service for the same, and also advised to adjust the remaining balance in the amount i have paid to Airtel as ISD fixed deposit which was the amount of Rs.5000/- for the last bill.and the service was disconnected on 12/01/2008, But these days i have recieved few letters from airtel on my residing address, and i am not aware of the details of those letters, i kindly request you to send me the soft copy of those letters on my respected email id.

                                        i am using airtel for 3 years i like to change my plan i have asked nearly more than 5 times none of them are responsing me the correct answer for my plan change
                                        I have a domestic connection with Airtel. My tel number is[protected] I have been travelling abroad for the last few months and hence have not used my telephone as I do not have International roaming. I have never requested for International roaming either. Airtel has now sent me a bill for Rs.17000 with International roaming to the tune of Rs.13000 +.

                                        I and my wife have called airtel and spoken to numerous representatives. We have been told that they would get back to us. Despite this now we cannot get through to Airtel as the number[protected] diverts us directly to a bill payment reponse and the number[protected] is now unreachable through my airtel ( I think it is blocked ).

                                        Now I have got a message to pay or else my telephone will be taken off the signal.
                                        Airtel - call me and fix this problem - I have made too many calls and have been very reasonable. I am surprised at the complete disinterest of your customer service agents. I will not pay you a incorrect bill so please sort this out or I will have no recourse bu to move the court against you for harrassment and blackmail.

                                        Since I planned to shift to a new place i called up Airel CC to do a feasibility check

                                        the airtel company was not any action in the case of tawar faseliti in the villege-tamta.tah-pathalgaon.dist-jashpur(c.g.).plese give the servise of airtel in my villege

                                        My Airtel no. is [protected] (Gandhinagar). I have recharged Rs 96 for 40 p (A2A) and 40 p (A2O). But today the call charges are Rs 1.50 per minute. I contacted customer care, but they didn't response and cut the call. So check this mistake and refund the extra charges made till now.
                                        My Connection Account No.is 148657, connection being in the name of Mrs. Suprabha Sahai. I have paid a sum of Rs.1100 as of 3rd September, 2009,but my connection still remains disconnected. Also, on my repeated enquiry, they suggested I pay installation charges, and I have given a sum of Rs. 400 on 14th November'09, However, the person in concern, some Mr. Shivpal is now conveniently ignoring my phonecalls, and I am unable to contact anyone at Airtel.
                                        Please disconnect this connection with imeediate effect.
                                        I recharged internet card but in my cell GPRS is not connecting i called to airtel so many times but all people are saying please wait for 1 day 2day 3 days we will activate like that they are saying. No one responding what is this.

                                        I recharged my mobile with a special sms tariff voutures but it didn't activated and due to which all my balance reached nil as i send messages.
                                        i registered a complain on 17/03/2010 and they assured me that i will get a call from them at 2 p.m. today(18/03/2010) but they didn't called me and when i called back they were unable to solve my problem and put off my call twice.

                                        No response for airtel activation.
                                        Delay of receiving call of customers.My Mobile number is [protected] i tried from other number that is [protected] for asistent but no response at 1.09pm on 31jan2011 till 18 minutes again i tried at 3.46pm for 6 minutes but no response from this no.[protected] I lost Rs.8 without any serrvice.how much i can spend?.Please response customers quiockly.

                                        Their call center is a tragedy - no agents to pick calls. Many calls get dropped.
                                        On the rare occassion they answer it gets 15 to 25 minutes to hear - Thank you for waiting.
                                        My call is unresolved for 36 hours despite promises to send engineer 30 hours back. And agian today 10 hours ago.
                                        My advice stay away from AIRTEL if you are planning DTH.

                                        Well after 8 calls (of which only two got answered & rest got dropped), I am still waiting for an engineer.
                                        Each call goes on endless hold with a sick music tone for 15 to 20 minutes. So till now I have spent 160 minutes of my weekend time on airtel call center.
                                        They have no way of knowing if a call is closed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The gentleman at other end was asking me " Oh nobody contacted you?"
                                        My weekend also just evaporated waiting for their engineer.
                                        As a customer & a senior mahagement professional my final view is that Customer Service is not in Airtel DNA. In future I will avoid Airtel - probably even for my company requirement.

                                        How long it will take to solve a complaint of 27th March 2011? It is 10 days now, no resolution.
                                        first of all i personally suggest you to all don't used airtel network it is one of the cheap network

                                        Hi i also facing the same problem . for past 1 year i spoked with the airtel manager also regarding my complaints . they will tell with in 48 hours ur problem will be cleared.Nothing will happen . for past one year airtel cheated amount from my prepaid is nearly Rs.400+, if they want to activate the service they will do automatically with out any notification. Very worst customer service. if you raised a request or complaints in airtel customer service the will give the application or process number.The problem is after u can't reach the customer care through ur phone. u have to call from some other airtel number ... not poor service. Worst service in india

                                        I'm Karthik ([protected]), I raised a complaint to airtel customer desk, about charing excess amount in the bill. After few weeks, one of the executive called me and found himself that there was a an billing error & said that he will be back with the exact amount to be paid.
                                        Again, few weeks later, Waive off team called me & asked me to pay just the rent,such that they can close the issue.
                                        I paid the corresponding amount & got the bill. Now, they have sent an mail stating that I have to pay the amount or have to face the case legally.
                                        When I spoke to the corresponding team lead, he said that he has no proof about Waive off calling me..
                                        From airtel site i get to know about recharge of 44 in which i get 100
                                        std min. And 20 extra std min. But when i recharge i get nothing

                                        I need to convert my Airtel prepaid number to post paid.
                                        convert docomo post paid to aitel post paid.
                                        2 new post paid airtel sim.
                                        want to whether tata land line can be converted to airtel landine if yes i want to convert if no want to know details like prepaid landline is available ?
                                        i want to do this by end of this month and get connected by airtel next month . i want to get these connections as corporate on name of our parlour regarding we connected call center and local airtel office several times no no proper response Airtel tele caller jothi number [protected] contacted us said that she send executive to our place regarding this
                                        executive by name srinivas came home explained process only one document was missing multiple licence receipt and he promised us after we get receipt he come and give new sims he collected Rs 500 advance and didn't gave any receipt . we applied licence fee receipt after few days we contacted them tele caller said she will send executive in 1 hour its being few weeks we are being waiting yesterday when we call she said after 5 mins she will call after some time i called her foe almost 10 - 15 she dint pick my call.

                                        I want to help me get above mentioned points asap or else you will be losing business and get bad name to company through word of mouth n ...
