It is almost 1 week since I tried changing my package to A la carte package.I have spoke to customer care agents .Theses are the various suggestions they have given by the different agents ,, they said:
1.plz turn on dth when changing it online
2.Plz wait 48 hrs
3.plz register an id in the website and log in
4.plz try again
5.server is down do Pl try this website

6.Around 5 times ,agents told me to wait as they were transfering call to supervisor,,but no supervisor picked the phone even waiting holding for almost half an hr.
All tricks in vain.I seriously doubt whether they have ala carte package.May be they don't want to change to a smaller package.Any help will be appreciated.thank you.

Its been over a month and i have been trying switching to ala carte. I have signed in several times on airtel website in an attempt to activate ala carte but nothing happened. have also spoken with the customer agents and they keep making false promises that your problem will be resolved in the next 24 hours.
i have been put on hold several times and the agents never get back to the call. i am really frustrated and plannig to switch to other service provider after lodging a complaint in written airtel against.
I dont want their god damn set up box and want a refund as soon as possible else i am heading to consumer court.

    I have aritel connection [protected], previously it was a pre-paid cell and due to some people who does ad for post-paid I did the mistake of conveting to post-paid. From that day till today I am suffering of that mistake.
    Always I pay the bill via net using HDFC netbanking gateway.
    During the month of July also I paid via HDFC bank and it was charged twice and took one month of fight after giving all the reference number to make my phone active. Last time I took the pain followed up to resolve it. That time it was handled be Vaishali- Hadpasar branch
    This time also it’s the same story. In the month of October History repeats it self, I gave all explanation ,details to Kishore- Hadpasar branch , took 10 days to make the phone active in the month of Nov , I hardly called any where due to such a issue

    Where as AIRTEL website shows only ----> Self Care Payment Debit A/C - Bill Desk 19/10/2007 606.74 --> Where did the 1213.48 money go?
    Now this month Dec from last two days 18th nov , no incoming and outgoing. No information also of previous complaints and where my previous money went.No information that service will be stopped.
    If you call customer care no manager no executive even Hadapsar branch no resolution to escalate.
    Let me know if any customer care really exist in Airtel.

    i tried to get PUK no for my mobile No [protected] but not helped by the customer care . i spoke several times to customer care no fruitful result got. I am using this connection from west bengal zone. i spoke to a lady named zuma and thereby her head . I am surprised to note that the rude bahaviour delivered to me being in customer care services. I feel i should leave this dirty connection and therby its people.

    This is to bring to your notice that the Airtel service is deteriorating day by day.I am not able to receive calls as the service is pathetic and sometimes even I am not able to make calls.This same problem is arousing with many of my friends.

    If you are not serious with this issue than you are bound to loose a maximum of your customers as we are also thinking of switching over.

    Please do look into this matter and do the needful ASAP.

    I took a new connection one year before. Initially Airtel announced their network is very good. Within few days the network was down. The voice clarity is not clear. I made the payment Rs.300 every month (Excluding Call Charge, Rental Only). I called Customer Care People. They informed us. “There is some network problem. It will be rectified very soon”. After six month also the Problem is not closed. I asked to close my connection. They asked to make the payment everything. I made the payment. Almost two years has been completed. I am not yet received My Initial Deposit. I visited Airtel Relation Center Every Month. Spend the two hours time to meet ARC People, but there is no use. Finally i took the decision. In Future, I should not take an Airtel Connection and not to recommend also.

    Regret to inform you that I am one of the Airtel users vide Mo. no. [protected], not getting the service as I was expected with you and for that, only I switched from BSNL to Airtel. It is very sorry to say that but the service, which I am getting, is much poorer than BSNL.
    Sir, few days back i have taken one Airtel postpaid connection. In which many problems i am facing, someone which i am jolting here. When i used to make a call in any no. of BSNL, BSNL Landline or Vodafone, repeatedly its saying network is busy and it will take minimum half an hour to make a call or more than that or sometimes I am not able to get it. And most of my colleagues complaint me, they are not getting me in my no. either network busy problem or switch off, not reachable like things, specially from BSNL, BSNL Landline, Vodafone, etc. One more thing which come in my knowledge is local BSNL users cannot make a call to me without using "0" or +91whether it is a local no of BSNL.

    I have already given you three-four written complaint in your mail id & [protected]@airtelindia.com, which is enclosed for your ready reference. And I got system-generated mail this no. does not exist.

    Hope you will understand my problem & do the needful on urgent basis
    I am using airtel services from last 1 year but the level of service company personnal are giving is something which cant expect them to.

    From last 5-6 days i am calling 121 daily 4-5 times
    but i am still listening that A machine said " Type AIRTEL ans Send it to 121" i am not getting one thing that if I wanna talk to customer care executive do I need to have send MSG.

    And in a situation when company has deducted 11 re from my mobile without having any balance and I am thinking that wheather Should Recharge my Card or not
    i sub meeted my document i d proves but now my number is totally disconnect because of when ever i call the operater say ur calling numbers is wrong and then few second the ring is start. what is this? when i submeeted then only they given me a connection na plz i request to u. take a action.

    Airtel Service is the worst...worst, No where you will experience like this.

    I have requested to get a statement of my bills of airtel, and i have made a request on Feb 1st week,
    For this request, i have spoken to almost 20 to 25 airtel staff, and 7 floor managers,
    each time when i call they just tell, wait for 3 more days, 3 more days, and it just kept on going,
    i almost spoke 5 to 6 hours on this, and lost all my energy, all the managers promised me that they will call me back and update on this, nothing happened unless i lost all my energy, Nothing would have happneed like this to anybody, so bad experience, have heard the same from many people.
    I certainly knew that there was some gap where they are updating the ticket, and the people who is supposed to take up the request to process the request, and i tried to make them understand,
    but they did not have any common sense to understand it, and they never followed it up

    Airtel — STD call should be free or it should be reduced fron 1 rupee

    Plz pay attention to this complain... These my STD usage had gone so high that its not beneficial for me...Other CDMA company are ofeering RIM RIM STD calling free... I can't use RIM because my trust is only on AirTel... So kindly solve my problem as soon as u can...

    I am using Airtel from 2001, usualy i have given this Airtel No to everybody for my bussiness. service they are providing is wrost to wrost. I am doing most of STD calls and due to poor service i am loosing 2 to 3 thousand rupees per month only on Airtel & this complain i am giving for the improper activity by this service provider. As I recharged my mobile with Rs 40/- card for local calls which will cost me 60ps instead of Rs 1 on 6th of may and recharge another card on 21st may to reduced STD calling rates from Rs 1.5 to Rs 1/min . After recharging this STD card they stopped my local 60ps charge without any prior information.

    I am helpless because my Mobile No [protected] i have given to everywhere, if i changed my no i may loose big oppertunity.
    I am requesting the concern authority to look into this matter seriously.

    Airtel — Not getting incoming calls & detecting auto balance

    Hi sir,
    This is Sachin K. Sharma. I stay in Lonavla (Pune). Last 5-6 days im facing problem from Airtel services. Last one week I'm not getting incoming calls. And also decteting balance. I ask to airtel coustomer care center @ 121 why balance is detecting they are telling u have called international call but i have not called any international call. In that case i have lost rs. 34.00 rs. approx. I think some one is hacking my sim card. I need soulation. Please help me & reply soon of my complaint.

    I have been locking the my mobile when ever it is not in use.On 30.06.09 When I tried to open the lock it suddenly went on to some idiotice message from air tel asking for the caller tunes.When I checked the account a sum of Rs6.00 has been recovered from my account.     I m attached with a corporate house as Chief Administrator. After joining in this organisation we had taken a 27 nos of airtel connection.
    Infact in my family we all are airtel users.
    Initially i was really satisfied with your service but its the worsts service you people are providing to your loyal customers.
    Your Customer Care Service is turning into a garbage area.
    Executives doesn t know how to speak to there customers.
    They don t have any etiquette s and manners. They just take call to reduce the call pressure. not to resolve the problem of your customers.
    I have recorded few interactions with your executives you itself check it.
    I have recharged my phone with a recharge denomination of Rs.94- on 10th Nov 2009 at an around 10:30 PM.
    And according to this recharge denomination i should get 100MB free GPRS from 8AM to 11:59PM and 2GB free GPRS from 12 Midnight to 7:59 Am.
    I did got the service but only 100 MB not 2 GB.
    i made Several complains in ur Customer Care Department but all in vain. No body was able to rectify my problem.

    Airtel is sending this kind of adult SMS even without me subscribing to such content.

    I am a user of Air Tel DTH.I am regularly using it from 6-7 months. But now it is not working properly. I had registered a complaint to Air Tel DTH Customer Care request no. 5407613 dated 13.02.2011.The customer care replied that our complaint would be attended at 5:26pm dated 13.2.2011.But our complaint was not attended till 5:30 pm 14.02.2011.So I again call at helpline. They responded that please contact [protected] if our case is not resolved. When I contacted the dealer he responded by saying that from where u purchased your Air Tel DTH. But he did not resolve our case. Then again I called to customer care and they responded by saying that our case would we finally resolved by 5:00 pm dated 15.02.2011.But instead of that I got the message that our case has been resolved. But no one came to our house to check the system and not even it is resolved. I am being exploited by the dealer and the company.

    Today( 18.03.11) I have re-charged my Airtel DTH at 12:40 pm. And now 10 pm (at night) but still no one chanel is coming. Really it is very bad experiance of Airtel DTH. Since installation I am getting problem again & again. We have another connection( of my brother) of TATA Sky that is running perfectally without any service issue. Airtel DTH service is very very poor. Being a customer I would suggest to every one please do not instal Airtel DTH. Their customer care executive makes false commitment to customer. Which is very bad. I am going to complaint in Consumer Court regarding the Service of Airtel DTH.

    the service of airtel is very pathetic.....the customer care is completely uneducated and its been pricking even more after they have started charging to speak to customer care. i dont understand when they are charging what is the harm in providing the service for the same...when you dont charge or provide free service....it can be understandable at one point but not everytime....thank god to number portablility i m switching to vodafone otherwise i would have definitely found out another option too....it is a very basic and common sense ..people being in the service industry and not providing service...i dont know how to try to justify your ownselfs in your own industry....it is clearly the carelessness and casuality the company is going through.....this is completely unacceptable.....customer care not even talk properly after keeping on hold for quite a few minutes.....they directly disconnect saying they are transfering the line but god only knows which way do they transfer....they themselves doesnt feel a poke...as a human being too...the lethargy and laziness and cheapness is to the peak......atleast pay some respect to humanity....even this is lost to the core....world will come to an end someday ..but what about the karmas...god is seeing all o[censored]s in all the angles...its not a 60-80 years life which we spend..its a lifetime life which we deal with the energy around...beware people......

    I have been using airtel DTH for 2 years. recently i shifted my home. for over 2 weeks this people have been promising me installations, but the installation of the connection hasn't happened even after 2 weeks. Every time i call them , they give a time resolution but they never show up. i am demanding my money back, still they are not ready to refund the amount also. God, pls save me from this people. .All i want now is justice.
    I had given my contact a long time ago and for 2 weeks ur engineers kept on delaying it. Specially one Mr. Gunasekar (cell no [protected])who was originally assigned with this task, had even switched off his phone on the day i told him to come. However it got resolved on 9th april. I was really dissatisfied with the unprofessional service quality i got from airtel

    Off let AIRTEL service is going down day by day, My ID [protected], kindly note we had taken this connection with South Package from day one... Last couple of month we are receiving the SMS message from back end saying that TAMIL TOP UP activated in your account under promo offer will be discontinued effecive from 20th APRIL 2011, to view they are asking us to pay Rs. 30/- per month...

    Why all of sudden they have to stop this service? since we had already viewing till date South package, May I know the reason why? Also request your back end team to kindly activate the service immediately without any further reminder...

    Airtel — Airtel sucking my money and time but no service

    I called Airtel customer care on the following issues:
    1) Mobile Internet is not working well that means working for only 20-30 seconds and remaining idle and again i have to redial the connection.

    for this problem, i called many times.. they always respond to one thing... your settings problem, we'll send settings and some will say... we'll guide you to set the settings... but my problem is not the settings.... Connection continuity is my problem... atleast i called for 15 times... every time they say... we are giving settings now... apply now... it will work... i[censored] have any problem... call to 121 or 12118...

    After sometime... i called and said the problem... and i asked to Please connect to your Superior... i can explain what the problem is.... that guy said.. "i'm connecting sir ... pls. wait... " me waited for 10 minutes and last call disconnected... i lost money as 0.5rupee/3mintes many times.. but i didn't get the solution...

    Some say like your billing message will make like... so call to 121 and deactivate that... i had called to 121... for complaints call 198.. i again called to 198... there call 121 message... at last i tried to connect the person ... there a message saying for any complaints dail *121#

    Sir, Airtel is sucking my Money and my time... but i didn't get the solution....

    Kindly note that I had requested for channel addition via request no 8202983 dated 21-05-11 and recd SMS from AIRTEL side that for further channel add ons, dish alignment shall be take place and soon engineers will visit my place.

    But till date nothing has been done. I have complint to AIRTEL customer care cell n number of times, but the answer I get that my request will be sorted out soon.

    This hopeless service was never expected from AIRTEL. I am rethinking of change my service provider if my request is not met immediately.

    If someone in AIRTEL listening, please do the needful immediately.
    I Applied For Network Portability from Airtel by sending the required message for porting on 16th June 2011.
    After 1 day on 18th at noon I received call from Airtel Care and they said that not to leave Airtel Service and offered me schemes (Airtel to Airtel at 1ps/6sec for 6months, to Other 1ps/2sec for 6months , 370 msg free for 1 month , and 40rs Talktime).
    So as they said I cancelled my porting request by the message.
    I was told to get the schemes started untill 48hrs, but nothing happened .So i gave a complaint regarding this to the Airtel Customer Care on 20th June.
    There also I was told to get the complaint solved within 48hrs (before 24th Noon) , but nothing happened.
    After that I tried to talk with the Higher Executives but always the line was disconnected directly from airtel and i was left unanswered.
    Very Bad Customer Care Service by Airtel.

    Airtel — Hike in call charges without any prior info

    I have a Airtel prepaid connection with 1 paise/ sec call tariff to any where in India. They have hiked the call charges without any prior info to 1.2 paise/ sec for all calls (Local/STD). When ever they launch any new product they would promote those by calling and send messages to our mobiles. But when they have changed the call tariffs, they dont even have courtesy to inform the customers. The same has been confirmed from the call centre executive.
    Being claimed as one of the largest subscribe base in India this is the condition of the known operator.
    When no other opearator hjas changed the tariff only Airtel has done it.
    this is very pathetic...

    Hi this is Atul. Few days back my brother received a call for post paid connection from AirTel. My brother ordered the sim card a person from AirTel come to our house to receive Id and address proof & after checking the documents he provide the sim card for Rs.300/-. After that on a fine day one another person come to verify my address. But now they are call us & told that the documents are incomplete & they are going to disconnect the number. I had given a photocopy of voter ID & Light bill. At the time of receiving money they don't find any problem with documents.
    Why this mobile service providing companies don't find any problem with documents at the time of receiving money.

    I changed my address around 15-20days ago,
    requested for de-installation and re-installation of the digital TV STB.
    De-installation was done immediately, the very next day I called.

    But I've really been struggling to get the installation done !!!
    It's been more than 9 days since when I've been calling the customer care number daily.
    All they do is promise that "it'll be done immediately, today itself our engineer will call you",
    but I didn't get any calls.
    An engineer called once and was very rude on the phone and told that he doesn't serve this area.

    I called up customer care again and they told that the engineer didn't respond because my number was not reachable.
    (Might be possible - accepted).

    I then provided an alternate mobile no. and provided a landline no. too so that the engineer won't make this excuse.
    Still, I didn't get any call.

    I called up the cust. care again, and one of their senior officials promised that the work done by 12pm that day,
    and guess what, I waited till 12.30, went late for office just waiting for a call.

    The same story has been repeating time and again every day !!!
    Am really fed up the quality of service of Airtel TV!
    This is the first time I'm having such a horrible experience with a private organisation!

    I just recharged my account because the Airtel people told that it is mandatory for the shifting process,
    and it's a waste now as it's pending since 10 days.
    What kind of pre-paid service Airtel is providing. After trying hell lot of times to speak to customer care executive, its a waste of time.
    Are you people running off ... better Airtel should close its shop.. If they continue the same shameless service , no doubt customers will have to opt MPS.

    This is Venugopal, Cust ID:[protected], Recharged for the account on Last Sunday(18-Mar-2012) for one year subscription. After that the service is not getting resumed. I called to your Customer care.
    They Raised a Ticked on (18-Mar) Ticket number:[protected]Video Problem)- This was closed by your engineer by the resolution as "No issues from Customer End". But nobody come to my place or even contact me regarding this issue. But yourself closing the ticket without resolving the actual problem.
    Again I spoke to Customer Care (on 19-Mar), and they told this info and again raised a new ticket number:17178882 for "Wrong Resolution" and ask the one day time.
    but again there is no Response from your end after that.
    Again I spoke to your customer care on (on 20th-Mar), Again I spoke to your customer care and there is no proper response, Executive tell one reason, after that I spoke to next level of point of contact. that person tell the different reason. Again I spoke to your Zonal officer. He told another reason and ask for a day and commit that he will fix this issue boy EOD(of 20-Mar). After that there is no response from him. Today again I spoke to your zonal officer, then again he ask one day time.

    I don't know what your executives are doing. There is no progress towards to fix my problem. Every time the y have lot of reason to tell me. It make me lot of fustration.

    Please tell me If you can't resolve this issues, than I will go for the necessary legal action. I don't want to wait anymore. If we did recharge for a day means you disconnect your service right, then why the hell you are taking this much time to resolve this issue? and who is responsible this week wastage of service. I need the money refund for these days.

    now airtel network is very bad espesialy the customer care executives not pick the calls quickly and they do not answering properly for the complaints from the customer needs and the service provide from airtel network is very slow compare to the vodafone especialy gprs service.
    i'm using airtel sim for around past 8yrs on wards. only airtel service since i was like their service much at that time. bt now a days it's going to very worst in service.
    1) i'm using their message and call booster pack regularly. but last time when my sms booster pack ends, i dint activate that service. n i dint sent any messages since they were cutting 75paisa/sms.& i dint top up my balance too. i was maintaining just 10Rs like that for around 3 months. but after that when i was top up my balance for 100Rs. but suddenly the second day they have cut Rs.38 in my main balance & sent a message as "you have been successfully recharge your sms booster", but i dint activate that. then was called to customer care n asked they just replied as "it's a auto renewal pack, and msg has come before two days of renewal.if you are not interested means you can stop the service via reply to that message". but the fact is they dint sent any messages like that and i dint activate that service

    2) like that i'm using their hello tune service too. while starting to using that service they told me that, they will cut 15Rs for downloading charge and monthly rental is 30Rs. rental is not a problem, but just before few days they had cut Rs.15 in my main account. while i'm asking to customer care regarding this, they had replied that " now our system has changed, that we will charge Rs.15 as downloading charge for every three months. " but as a service provider they should inform to their customers about their plan change. but they dint...

    now a days not only youngsters, all are liking to set hello tune and to use message n rate cutter service. but if they are doing like this means how we can interested to use their service???? their customer support also not good. while recharging every time they are cuting some amount as 'PF' amount. but if asking regard this means no one customer care executives known why they are cutting that charge. now they pushed us to hate their service as much as how we loved their service....

    We are getting the worst customer service from airtel landline and broadband services. And I am fade up of trying what to do next to get revert from them. The whole complaint I have mentioned in the following mail which I have sent to airtel and even after mailing them I haven't got any revert back from them.

    My usual bill amount varies from rs.1500 to rs.2000 but this time When I checked the bill details in that there is some premium number mentioned and instead of giving the details of premium no.the only thing is mentioned is amount which is rs.4979.00/-
    I was shocked to see the bill amount and was confused what's this premium number is?
    Though I made the payment for the bill but I raised the query and my wife contacted customer department somewhere on 2nd July. My wife told them to give me the details of premium number which I have dialled and also another complaint regarding the awareness of premium number. My complaint reference number is. 35323746 and 35324136 between this I talked with many customer executives namely..Vinay, Mohit, chetna
    They told me that your query will be resolved within few days but for my surprise it did not got resolved within the stated time period and when I called them back they said that your request have been closed..when I asked "why"? The reply was even more shocking..they said that nobody was picking up the phone at your house. I must tell that I have never come across such a bad services and big liars as my wife remains at home all the time and rest I had given them my mobile number too, but they never contacted.
    I again booked the complaint and this time they told that you will get a personal call from our supervisor and also that this issue will be resolved by 11th July and another one on. 16th July. But again for my surprise no one called up and never got any mail. Than I again called up yesterday and talked with chetna she told me that you need to mail us at [protected]@in.airtel.com and you will get the resolution with four working hours. But again nobody has called up within four hours and the day has passed.
    So here I am mailing you for the same. But for my surprise airtel team has not come up with any solution yet and I am really upset. Incase if I don't get the resolution and if the arrears are from your airtel software system than I surely need airtel to refund my money back or else I need a proper explanation for the same else I am, hoping to discontinue with airtel landline and broadband services.

    I have sent the above mail to the airtel team and still I haven't got any revert back. Kindly please see in this matter and if there is something which airtel is hiding their mistake than we should surely get our money back.

    This is to bring in your kind notice that due to service issues and network coverage I was facing problem through Airtel and I have ported([protected]) to you (VODAFONE) as my service provider.Anytime my number is been put in restriction and as a result I am not been able to access my mail and not been able to receive my calls.
    When I inquire about the problem I have been told that I have previous due from Airtel but that is not true and I have produce the copy of bill payment to one of your service executive at Airtel Gallery at Chakala on 22 nd March 2014and still Problem is not been solved.Even I wanted to have a word with the store manager but I have been told that it would not be possible. I don't know what was the reason manager was not interested in meeting dissatisfied customer as Manager(Ms. Talwar name given by the staff ) was very much there in the cabin and its ever more surprising being at the customer service they don't have time to meet and resolve customer issues .When I ask for the manager business card I have been told manager don't possess Business card
    I am surprised that simple issues could not be resolved by such a big service provider in India .
    My number was blocked since 21st March 2014 20:00 hrs to 22nd March 2014 16:00 Hrs and again on 24th march 2014 since 11:00 hrs my number are blocked and feeling helpless.

    I already complained [protected]@in.airtel.com about wrong SMS charges.in month ago one SMS came from ur side to recharge 26 and get low local call rate k.then i recharge 26 after that i loss my free message.first 1.50 rupees for 3 messages then 17 free then 10 paisa stiil 100 message.its happen after i recharge 26 as per ur guidness.and i call 121 and no response came, then i mailed [protected]@in.airtel.com.and still problem not solved they told to recharge 53 and again i recharged 53 after that im loosing 1 rupees for every message.what's going on here ha sir?...why u giving wrong info to customer ha? what is the problem about my previous tarrif ha?..and they told we have taking time time once says 24 hr then says 48 hr then now saying 72 hr.why u people taking this much time to solve one problem. no one response and caring about my concern.still suffering same problem. now reporting u sir k.take action for this...

        If Govt. thinks applying Digital Addressable Systems (DAS) will improve customer viewing experience than I believe without setting standards like what bitrates, bandwidth, compression etc audio/video quality of both SD & HD channels are not going to improve the viewing experience of consumers instead it’s going to suffer a lot. I have experienced the same with Airtel DTH #1 Worst/Pathetic DTH provider in India. Airtel use MPEG4 DVB S2 technology but still provides inferior quality for both SD & HD Channels this is due to heavy use of compression in place and the end result is picture looks dull, gets blurred many times, audio across all channels are same be it SD or HD effected with heavy DRC or some other compression techniques used by Airtel on a whole poor viewing experience. In fact Airtel charging more than any other DTH provider but still provides cheap services at a very high cost. Airtel Fake Advertisements are everywhere to attract consumers interest in them who are unaware of their cheap tactics and hidden Terms & Conditions which protects them every time and all the burden comes on consumer and this is due to Govt. fault in policy making which must protect their Janta who choose them to rule and the end result is consumers have to pay the price. My request to Information Broadcasting Ministry/TRAI is to take steps against such companies especially Airtel to either return my money or improve their services and heavy fined them/cancel their licenses for humiliating their customers for availing their services.
        I have taken this issue up with Airtel Higher Officials before taking this step and the answer is we are the No. 1 DTH Provider in providing the best viewing experience and there is no compression on Audio or Video we have put in place. This means the broadcasters are using obsolete technology or cheap standards to beam their channels or Airtel again lying about this just to save them from consumers? I don’t think so but as per Airtel Technical Team this seems to be the answer. One thing can be they are not much educated in DTH Sector or saving the company from consumers.

        with respect to inform you that i am customer of airtel since 9th nov 2008 and my no is [protected] name as SANJAY DHAMELIYA AHMADABAD and in last month they increase a rent for me so i call customers care and ask about that and they told me that you have also activeted Hindi plus top up and i say stop that top up and tell me which channel i Can see now so they told me 5-6 and not ready to tell me all the channels and i see after half an hour of that phone call my all Hindi plus channel's gone but also gone my star plus channel so on 4th december2009 i again call to costumer careand make a complain to this and no was 1570331 on second day they call me and say that your complain has been solved and you can see that starplus channel after half an hour right now updation is going on so right now you can not see the channel but after some time you can see that channel
        after that i wait for 2-3 days and on 7 th December i again make a complain with no 1584672 and next day same reply that your problem ahs been solved but still not able to watch star plus but rest of channels ware OK
        i wait for Star plus till 9th but not solved till that day i make a complain to them on 9th and no was 1594673.they reply me that all channel are OK but starplus we have to check to your box and card so we will send a engineer to your home tomorrow at 10 am i wait for that engineer till 10 and that person calling me and telling me that you have passed 1 year so my visit not comes in free visit for that you have to pay me i said don't come if i have to pay for and ask him what i pay its a company fault i said to company to stop my top up any why they stop my package channel for which i am paying now also its a company fault and company has to send a person or not that they have to decide i want service for what i am paying its not my fault its your technology fault and why customer has to pay for fault technology use by company its not a mettor of pay but company cheating to customer in such a way so please show me the way what to do next.

        DTH COMPANIES — ADVERTISEMENT IN DTH

        Sir/Madam,
        I would like to point out that DTH companies, are earning double from advertisement & also from the consumer. As we as consumer is paying for the direct to home facility for the downloading of the content hence the company is earning. Second also earning huge amount from advertisement. Why is it so, company if are willing to earn from advertisement than customer should be provided free.

        Dual mode of earning is totally wrong.

        Second issue how come news channels are broadcasting advertisement & stating that this news is sponsored by this company. This is case for all the news channels, government or private. This is very objectionable and should be stopped immediately.

        Hope action is going to be taken in this matter.

        My customer id is [protected] and I requested to all of you. Plz never buy Airtel DTH its really painful experience. I have Airtel and i am suffering since i bought. Very bad service, customer care is useless. i feel handicap i have no option to do anything.

        AIRTEL DTH HD — Video quality

        I have recently bought a airtel hd-dth connection # [protected]. Engineer from Airtel visited for an issue on non-reciept of certain channels and since then the quality of the picture had deteriorated substantially. I want to get the issue resolved permananently and want somebody from Airtel take this issue seriously. If not, I would request Airtel to refund my annual payment as well as the cost of the stb.

        I have boosted my mobile with Rs225 booster and i am being charged with 10ps. messaging other carrier networks. When i called one of your customer care number, they mentioned they had posted the revised plans in news paper. But when i get the balance, the notification states the Rs225 "old plan" status! Are we fools here? Is there no transparency in Airtel services? I need a proper explanation for the misleading!!

Neither I received any call and nor any of my complain resolved by AIrtel... Ah God they are very good at cheating... CRAP... No. 1 Fraud Company operating in India and the Govt. don't have the Guts to charge them or penalize them for cheating customers rather torturing them and to be honest cancel their license forever...           I have bought airtel digtal tv since past one and half month only. however, its showing error code 2:please re insert or clean card. I have complaint on 21st still now no one has reported or solve problem.

          None of your service man is visiting only asking for 100rs charge.


          and when i got number of thane dealer and service man Salman they r not picking up phone after talking once.And getting fake promise everyday same your problem will resolve tomorrow. Even i talked with nitin vagh on 27th still same problem.


          I have called to customer care everyday and lastly i got decision its better to quit instead of calling everyday and waste my and yours time.

          Airtel DTH — No Service and Response

          1. Raised a request for relocation to mumbai from bangalore some 15 Days back.
          2. For this I had to increase my acc balance to Rs 500 from Rs 200.
          3. As informed the executive , the Engineer was supposed to come on 01-05-10 by 3:00 PM but no one visited or called.
          4. On Saturday when no one came/called I called up the call center and informed them about the problem.
          5. The Executive raised a Complaint about this problem ( Ref[protected] and said someone will call u regarding this.
          6. No one called.In the evening i called the customer care and tried to get an answer I tried to reach the floor manager but even after calling more than 15 times could not reach him.
          7. Finally the executive told me the engineer will come tomorrow 10:00 AM (100%), but next day no one came.
          8. Next day I again called the customer care around 10:00 to find out the problem the executive told me the engineer will come by 1:00 PM.
          9. By then I already had vacated the house and left the DTH dish.
          10. the same day i called again around 4:00 then executive told me that engineer will come next day 1:00 PM and also i will arrange a call back from the back end team
          11. But no one from the back end team. By then i knew that no one is going to come so i called on 4th of may again just check.
          12. I was told that engineer was supposed to come by 6:00 on 4th but as usual no one came.

          Airtel digital T.V. — No Service

          Hi,

          My name is Suraj Singh Shahani & I have an Airtel Digital T.V. connection since Oct’09, & I have never faced any Problem the way I have received recently, since past 4 weeks half of my channels are not coming, when I call up the customer care & register a complain, however I got an answer saying these channels are not being provided by Airtel Digital T.V., my question is if was getting these channels from past more than an year, how come suddenly they disappeared, & now the Customer Care no. doesn't take your call forward than the IVR.

          Secondly I told 1 person to activate 2 channels for me, 1. Zee Classic & 2. Movies Now (which I am eagerly waiting for), he said he will activate it, & 2 Weeks down, still no channel, & suddenly all my channels disappeared, it is not worth it spending so much amount & not getting any service, I always pay upfront I recharge for the whole year & I am very disappointed that even after taking the time out of the busy schedule & calling & getting nowhere.

          Thirdly & the most awful experience of my life with Airtel Digital T.V. was when I was in the mood to watch movies, I called up not once, not twice, not thrice, but 4 times to order the movie, & guess what it never got activated, 2 times the customer care hung up the phone while I was on hold, trust me while writing this mail I could have been more ruthless, but maintain the dignity & respect for another individual who is just doing his job I am being very polite & not using foul language, even when I called the customer care I am sure you have my recording of my calls if you can trace even 1 foul language I used against your executive despite being super upset, I promise I will never call customer care again,

          Just wanted to bring to your notice what happened with me, I did not expect this from them, there was a reason I chose them over Reliance, Dish TV, etc., cause it was the experience, but the experience I got was a very bad one,

          I have waited too long for them to revert & your customer care no. doesn't work, I WANT TO CANCEL MY SUPSCRIPTION ASAP, i have paid full money in advance for year, please cut the formidable charges & please return back the rest of the money & please take back your Set top box & that sattelite dish,

          You & your Service is Pathetic & i will never ever & i mean ever recommend anyone for an Airtel Digital T.V.,

          This has been the worst experience of my life, My Cable guy doesn't give the clarity or sound that you give however the most important thing to me which he provides is service, which you guys i am sorry to say are very very very very very poor,

          PLEASE CANCEL MY SUPSCRIPTION ASAP

            The unavailability of the channel is very sad for me, i used to watch this channel like most of the times, the anime was very good in comparison to other cartoon channels, i tried calling the customer care service to re install the channel but now its been months and now i really want that channel to be included, now i hardly watch teevee now and my family is eager to change the service and install other brands finding no option as they are unhappy too with the type of channels available in limited packs, just wish they include some channels too asap, animax first for sure, its very POPULAR among us too

              My mobile number is [protected]. I can not make out going calls on roaming. The sim card is from Lucknow U.P. i am in vishakapatnam andhra pradesh. i have made numerous complaints to their Lucknow office from other phone and wasted a lot of money. they gave me complaint number [protected] and [protected] . i have visited their "Main office Vishakapatnam Sripuram" i was attended by Ms Lavanya after waiting for 30 minutes and she cud not help in any way. This was on 23rd Jan about 1745 hrs.

              My post paid no is not having outgoing facility from 29/12/2009 at abt 12PM. I have tried to contact on customer care and talked to Mr Abhimanu but twicely but he was unable to solve the problem. It will be better to say that he even not tried to do something regarging this.               Airtel, Punjab — Repeatedly asking for stopping a service and no response for past 1 month

              For past one month i have been repaeatedly calling airtel to stop a service on my Chandigarh, Punjab mobile number. Inspite of assurances, nothing has been done in this regard and i am loosing amount each day from my balance. A simple question- will airtel refund me the amount they are deducting each day. I am currently based at Hyderabad and use the Punjab number only for one month when i go home.               This has been a real harassement on part of airtel customer services and above all, while i was communicating to one of the executives, they used abusive language, which no doubt is beyond the acceptance of a customer.               Airtel service spoiled my carrier.

But I have given Local address on Letter head pad of my company Larsen and Toubro Limited, Construction , Infrastructure and Xerox of PAN card then also it was block for temporary service. How ever on 27 Jun 2012 again I have deposited fresh xerox copy of following documents, through retailer shop from where I had purchased the pre-paid SIM. Till date it is not made by the Airtel Company as a usable .

Now when I make calls to my system number, it says number is temporarily out of service. I want to start using my number again. Please reactivate it soon.

                    It seems there is a problem in your system which is generating wrong information of data usage. I have reported this to Airtel on 17 May 2012 (You can check with intraction ID in your system).
                    They said they will check and revert back but no response came from their side,and next month I received bill of amount.. for the month of May
                    then i recieved a bill for the month of May 2012 saying Bill ampunt as Rs. 4494.

                    Jun 3 2012 i recieved a massage at 10: 24 am in the morning saying that Your approximate 3G Data usage as on 03/06/2012 is 4840.83 MB. On saturday i am sure i have hardly browsed for 1 hour or less.

                    That should be arround 80 MB max.
                    I have question to you.
                    1) What is the speed of datacard provided to me.2) Data Card provided to me Can we download 5 GB of data in 1 hour or less.

                        I am using Airtel connection on my mobile and I am using internet on my phone by airtel. I took 14 day subscription of internet pack at the date of 20June.

                        At the date of 26 and 27 June when I was using my internet on my phone that time I had 190 RS in my mobile but after using internet 190 RS had been deducted by Airtel while I had internet pack and also i had 1.90MB left

                        so that’s why I called to customer care and submit my complain at the date of 27 June and I got call from Airtel company at the date of 28 June about deducting money, They said to me that 190 Rs was wrong deduction so thats why we are returning 60 Rs and we are doing another complain about 130 Rs but after 2 days I did not get 60 Rs also waiting for 130 Rs.

                        I called customer care 50 times but they did not give any answer about my 190 Rs
                        So Plz help me.

                            I had bought a new prepaid sim of airtel with number [protected] in march 2012.
                            I was using this sim in my airtel dongle in order browse internet. Further i was getting the sim recharged for Rs 750 from past three months.
                            However the company blocked and unregister my sim on 28 june 2012 without intimating me. When i contacted the customer care on 198, [protected] and airtel nodal office delhi-ncr, i was told that i ve not used the sim for last two months and hence it has been blocked.
                            Further my 1.5 GB data and money in the sim has also lapsed.
                            You are requested to kindly to get the justice done so that this does not happens to other customer.

                            I am a very old customer of Airtel.I have a prepaid number of airtel.Now i have lost my cell phone and I have been calling for last one day on Airtel customer care number but nobody is there to picj the call.When finally someone picks the call, they say that its postpaid customer care number and i have to go to prepaid customer care number.

                            And the worse is that there is no customer care option when you dial 121 from prepaid sim.They don't provide prepaid members the facility to talk to customer care executives.

                              Based on a job requirement advertisement in Telugu daily newspaper EENADU published on 18/06/2012 for Airtel contractor jobs, i was asked to contact at [protected]. Call was picked up by some fraud person named Shekar Reddy. He asked to deposit Rs 1050/- into SBI account [protected] and said interview will be arranged next day. I deposited the money but then on he is not taking the call. He directly disconnects the call.

                              I am filing this complaint to create awareness among everyone to be aware of such FRAUD people like Shekar Reddy(Mobile No. [protected]).

                                I am Sai. I am using air tel postpaid plan. Two months back i.e in April They changed my account number of bill payment with out any request from my side. And Then for The duration of 20th April to 1st may They charged The bill on daily basis. I have two Value added services (Internet pack & Message offer) with monthly rentals of Rs 99 and Rs 98. But in The bill They are asking me to pay complete charges of This two value added services in That duration, which is usually I pay monthly. But here They are charging This amount just for The duration of 10 days. And I paid These charges in The May bill and again They added These amount as one time charge in The bill of June and asking me to pay which I have to pay two times. This happened not only for me. Who are using air tel postpaid plans ( I am saying in The case people who are just around me) They are also paying extra amount like This. So could you please tell me is This cheating or not and suggest me with possible solution.

                                i was alloted a number [protected].i feel it disgusting to use this airtel service
                                iam getting a regular false bills from the past three months regarding "airtel live music on demand" ,without my subscription to it.
                                to prove it ,i was using nokia 1100 model phone which is not compatible to it .i have complained many times for which i was given a waiver of 60 rs on jan 2nd. again the same problem is repeated and i was charged 30 rs unnecessarily for which there was no reply for my questions raised at 121
                                ihope to reply as soon as possible and grant 30rs waiver
                                I AM CANCEL MY NUMBER AND THEY CONFIRMED AND NOT CANCELLED MY NUMBER AFTER CONFIRM PLEASE HELP ME

                                  I have bought an Airtel Digital connection for my TV on 21/06/2012 from Great Eastern Trading Co. (Baguihati, Kolkata), Order No. 2114979, VAT No. [protected], Tax Cash Memo No :19/1213/02755 . The Airtel personnel came and installed the dish and set-top box and they got full payment but there is no signal from the set-top box. I called them repeatedly and they told me that they will come my home and fix the problem but no one came. For the last two days they also not receiving my phone call. when I am trying to connect customer care help line of Airtel, it's not connecting and no one is answering. After the installation of the set-top box I got no signal ever. I bought this from a TV shop but they are not taking any responsibility because it's the matter of Airtel company.

                                    writing to Airtel on 27/06/2012 and talking to them have resulted nothing. they have not done any thing regarding pending conversion of my mobile no. [protected] from prepaid to postpaid since June 08, 2012. urgent action is pending from their side. if they are not able to provide the postpaid services on my mobile no. [protected] then please revert my money deposited for post paid account. u r serives are totaly frustrating. u all are simply cheating me. Airtel custumer care will simply give some ref. no. and ask for 72 hours for action. nothing has been done.

                                    The AIRTEL company had cheated me by giving one type of assurance at the time of buying the airtel bundle phone, but now the assurance is neglected. Here dont spend ur money with airtell
                                    in Tamilnadu.

                                    Many a times my balance gets automatically deducted and while talking to the customer service I get response like I had requested for a particular services (VAS) or for caller tunes etc which infact I had not. After lot of arguments with the customer care executive they refund my deducted amount. But this kind of activity is regualarly noticed. Yesterday again they deducted my balance saying that I had used Internet from my mobile which I had never tried and after complaining to the customer services the response they had given to me was now you will not get your money refund go and complaint where ever you want.
                                    Airtel has found a very cheap way to make money, They might be making money cheating their customer but really degrading their name in the industry.
                                    Viewers never go for AIRTEL Services. They are big cheat.

                                    well i am your old airtel costumer of panipat but still i am facing problem from airtel and even your officers for costumer care is not solving my problem



                                    i have no [protected] which is 3 or 4 year old number and last month your airtel costumer care officers has been activated some NOP servicesin my this number without getting any request message from my side and after 15 days they deducted 70 /- Rs from my account that time my sister has calleed and request for deaactivation and refund of my balanace but they refused and even my father has tried no action has been taken



                                    well yesterday it again happened and when i tried to call your costumer care first time they assured me that i will get my balance refund in 4 hours but after 4 hours when i called SOME OFFICER named mr Neeraj refused me directly and when i said i will take action they talk rudely



                                    This is not a case of 140 Rs but what services you all providing your officers in costumer care dont know how to talk and this is completely cheating with costumers that in end we are only the suferers



                                    I HOPE YOU WILL SEE THIS CASE AND TAKE APROPIATE ACTION OTHERWISE IT WILL MAKE ME FORCE TO TAKE FURTHER ACTION
                                    Under my company, I have 5 connections from Airtel. Due to some wrong information provided by the airtel agencies to airtel, Airtel has generated the wrong bills. I paid according to proper amount but 1 of my phone got disconnected by Airtel. Also on my personal number outgoing to customer care barred by them. I have sent many emails to different rank people. Have spoke to customer care many times but no body is bothered. I am feeling cheated with a bunch of people in Airtel.

                                    This is regarding extremely poor sevices provided by AIRTEL.customer care executives.I went at thier company showroom in Mayur Vihar phase 1 New D elhi to gather info about validity and top up schemes.The customer care executive didnot give me details about all offers and overcharged me by 100 rs. I believed what she told me and got my mom's number [protected] rechargedby rs 295 to get a lifetime validity offer on 14-07-08. later i got a msg from airtel saying that the same offer was available at rs 196 till 15-07-08. I got back to her to enquire about this...and this ridiculous female tells me that I should have told her about the offer...i mean how rubbish is that ??was it me to tell what schemes company is offering??

                                    i had bought a sim card from airtel they gave me a ten digit fancy number then only i accept to buy that airtel postpaid connection. they asked me to pay Rs.300/- for new connection and i paid it, they were finished all formalities and they gave me that sim card what they assured(fancy number). the next day they told me that, the number was released to others so i give you other number. and i accept those request but still they are not change the number and they not give me any response for that, this is very bad process

                                    REF: To ur Letter dated 6th May 2009 Ref No : 13182554

                                    Dear SIR.

                                    I was in receipt of your above mentioned letter where in you have so kindly written in you have so kindly written your stereo-type blaa – blaa – blaa to make me understand that I owe you an amount of Rs 5207 on my Id . No 13182554, Tel Ph. No. [protected].
                                    I would hereby wish to bring to your kind notice the actual antecedents of the matter and my grievance for which the said amount had been intentionally with held by me.

                                    The facts of the unfortunate episode are as under:

                                    That I, Mukesh Kumar Bhalla have the above connection since the last 2 year approximately under the Rs 299 plan and my payments for the bills generated on this number have never deferred.

                                    That on the 24th - 27th of February, a kind hearted & a very caring gentleman from your respectful organization contacted me over the telephone to acknowledge me that my data usage was exceeding the free limit every time and that I should better opt for your Rs 699 plan so as to avail free data usage services on this number .

                                    That after understanding the benefits of this plan, I decided to opt for the same and on his request agreed to the activation of the said plan.

                                    That, when I got a confirmation from him, that the request had been forwarded for the activation of the said plan, I asked that noble soul as to when would the plan be active?

                                    That the said gentleman told me that it would be active on the 5th of March i.e. from the date by billing cycle.

                                    That, since 5th March, I used your data services right & left only to find out in my next bill that I had been billed for Rs 5207 as date usage charges and simultaneously Rs. 700 as date usage charges in the next bill, an amount totaling to Rs 3900 respectively, for which I registered my concern two times and finally withheld my payment.

                                    That then started your process of firstly, disconnecting my no. and then gentleman and ladies form all odds in your organization trying to resolve the matter and make me pay the bills.

                                    That finally a sweet gentlemen by the name of vishal mittal posing to be from your organization walked up to my office with a letter in his hand saying that I was given a discount of 50% on my bills which were Rs. 5700/- at that time, as a trial to resolve my matter and to maintain a relationship.

                                    That, and if at all you people agreed to your mistake and discounted my bill, then it shows that this may not have been done for the first bill and if these kind of mistakes are committed very often in your accounting solutions, then it means that it is a fraudulent practice.

                                    That, I would wish to advice you that a fraudulent practice is a malafide intention punishable under IPC section 420 and not a valued customer whom you write to, the that you have written to me.

                                    Nevertheless I paid a sum of rs .2870 to shri vishal mittal vide receipt no.1877305 dt: 15/05/09 who was also carrying a letter dt: 15/05/09 ref no. may’09 / haresh anand /vs/187 who corrected the matter of the letter and said that the connection would be activated the same day.

                                    The need to correct the letter arose when the matter said that it was full & final payment to close the connection whereas I wanted to continue with the connection.
                                    Now my office accepted the corrected letter because he requested me that he would have to travel all the way back to okhla and in any case the phone would just be active and all this would be a wage exercise.

                                    He also collected an amount of rs 500/ in cash from my office as he said that it is to be submitted in cash for my request to shift the connection to another address (8a/20 wea, karol bagh, new delhi 110005.)so that it could be done instantly, for which he did not issue a receipt as it was supposed to be issued by some other dept.

                                    NOTHING HAPPENED AFTER THAT TILL DATE.

                                    I tried to inquire about mr. vishal mittal who never came on line after collecting the money and is not from airtel.

                                    It latter came to my knowledge that it was some mr rajender (his associate)who corrected the letter as I was not physically present at my office when he collected the money.

                                    IREGISTERED MY CONCERN NOD : 19910302 IN THIS REGARD WITH THE HELPLINE BUT AGAIN THE SAME THING, NOTHING HAPPENED AFTER THAT TILL DATE.

                                    Therefore, I hear by request you to kindly look into the matter and activate my phone at the earliest, failing which I would have no other option left but to approach the TRAI & the consumer disputes redressal forum for justice, mental agony defamation and claim the losses from you occurred due to the negligence of yr people and disconnection of my telephone line.

                                    Hello this is shahid khan i am using a airtel number from last 3 month's, after activating my GPRS 25 rupees unlimited pack, I found the airltel company is a cheater and a fraud, The company debit rupees 25 daily from my account but after charging rupees 25 for my unlimited GPRS pack they also charge me 30paise for per 50kb, i have complaint 10 time in airtel gallary but the only answer is we can't help you sorry sir. I have called airtel costumer care minimum 50 times and given complaint but all the time answer is that the problem will solve in 4hours. I have been charged 300 to 400 from last 11/06/2009 till now and now i am fedup from all this if any one can help out.

                                    It is very sad to write complain against company like Airtel. Last Saturday on 13th one executive Mr Karan Kapoor pune([protected]) visited my home with new Postpaid offer. They have taken 530 Rs in advance and given a SIM(sim nuber[protected]/imsi [protected]). He has confirmed that number will be activated in 48Hr. Since Monday I am daily following with the executive and he is giving me false commitment every time. After several follow-up I asked for my money back. again he has given me false commitment and since today evening he is not receiving my phone.

                                    I am already having one number of Airtel and Airtel digital TV at my home and having faith in company. Please arrange activate my SIM or back the money otherwise I have no choice other than complain in consumer forum or in media.

                                    This is to bring to your kind notice that Airtel which professes to be the Best Service Providers in the Country are actually the biggest cheaters in the country...to prove this again please see mail forwarded mail below dated 2nd August and special attn to highlighted matter too..

                                    Again to top there continous efforts in cheating us, Airtel has gone and Debarred outgoing calls on the Mentioned Number from 20th August inspite of having told them hundreds of times that the amount of Rs 10000/- they claim unpaid is already paid and mail to the same has been sent to them and the same has been referred to them too. I have tried to convince them that the Payment has been made at thier Airtel Gallery in Santacruz and the Bill Number too has been forwarded yet these people just dont wish to see reason and have asked me to go thier gallery at Santacruz. Is it not the duty of Airtel to confirm details at thier self appointed galleries and do they have a right to harass us so.

                                    Again to day i have been to thier relationshiop centre at Santacruz and spoken to the Supervsior Sunil there and he called up some Number from the Hotline 888 and Spoke to Ashok who after some deliberations with Sunil finally Agreed that then payment has been recd and the Outgoing would be activated in the next 4 Hrs. This was confirmed by Mr Sunil too. After this between 3:30and 4:00 I have spoken to Anjali and Bakan and Tanveer and Adam and to each of them i explained my predicament and these people said the matter would be rectified shortly and the outgoing activated.

                                    Its now nearly 4 hrs since my last discussion but these poeple at Airtel are thick Skinned and Deliberately out to cheat us common men. Thier best way to harass us is to keep sending us to this and that galleries and refuse to listen to reason. In this case i request your immediate your attn and demand harshest penalty for the Company and Demand Immediate Cancellation of My Money Rs 10500/- and Rs 1 Lac in Penalty for Causing Loss of Goodwill and Mental Agony. Dear Sir Pls take this on priority and take strict action against them for default in services.

                                    I shall also exercise my rights to bring the matter to the Notice of the General Media through Mass media and all other available channels of communication .                                     This is to bring to your kind and urgent notice that services of Airtel are getting worse day by day and taking customers for a ride .
                                    Inspite of repeated complaints and reminders the people at airtel seem least bothered about taking notice of regular complaints and instead choose to ignore them as per thier convenience .

                                    I had requested a change in bill plan somewhere around 5th of July to DAP400 and they said they would do the needful from the coming bill cycle of 26th July onwards. Again i tried to contact them but they said there was some problems with them and they were undergoing maintainence till few days . Again on 14th July when i called and requested for the same, the concerned executive informed me that the request was taken and the needful would be done from the 27th of July as per the billiing cycle . I had got the reference number[protected]
                                    for the same .

                                    Now yesterday when i called to confirm Shweta the executive told me that they were sorry but no such request is thier with them. This is very disgusting and totally unreliable . This is taking us for granted and i strongly suggest they stop making claims of being the best provider in the country. If i were to be asked Airtle is one of the worst service providers in the country lately and they can only get worse.

                                    Another instance is recently i purchased a new premium connection of Airtel ([protected]) from their galley at Santacruz on 02/07/09 and paid Rs10000/- as premium number via my credit card and have recd bill NO 276858 for the same. But i was shocked to receive the bill for the same amounting to Rs10000/- plus which is really shocking and when i call the customer care they say go to the ARC at santacruz and check out the problem with them. If this is not unprofessional and actually trying to cheat then what it is. If i had paid cash and lost my BILL ETC i am sure these cheaters would definitley not accept anything.

                                    There are many more instances for which i dont have time to explain as they can actually see form their log about my complaints. I wish to inform the concerned authorities at AIrtel that i shall be taking this matter to the media with all proof and the mailers sent to them over the last few months and also i shall explore legal action against these company AIRTEL which is out and out trying to cheat the customers.

                                    i had been told by the local dealer " for Rs. 49 recharge 100 SMS-s which include local and national SMS-s for 30 days". after i was recharged by Rs. 49/- i was sent only 24 SMS-s which include local and national SMS-s and after that they started charging for my SMS. then i want to speak with the airtel customer care executives there is no response. i have been frustrated by the service of airtel.
                                    I activated international roaming on my airtel sim before flying to Mauritius.While activating the international roaming facility, I requested them to provide me the billing rates for Mauritius. I have advised to visit the airtel website for the same.
                                    While I checked the rates : Call back to India using Emtel (Local Network - Mauritius) was at Rs 34.49/34.99 per minute.With these rates in mind, I made few calls to India. On the second day of my arrival, I received an sms saying the outstanding was Rs 18000 plus. I was shocked and when I went through my mobile log..the billed amount and usage didnt add up. On my return to India, I requested

I contacted customer service at 121 and brought this cheating to their knowledge on 21st April 2010. I got a confirmation on my cell at 11:29:56 on[protected] that " your service has been deactivated successfully ...". I was told on 20th April itself by the customer care that I wll receive a message at 3PM, but unfortunately that 3PM never happened till 24th April 6:16PM, DESPITE subsequent reminders also on daily basis. In response to my reminder, I was adviced through a message on[protected] at 19:43:18 that my request reference no.is [protected].

                                    Please note that airtel has caused me a lot of harassment and till this moment I have not been credited back with the amount unduly and unauthorisedly charged. I recharged my mobile with recharge coupon Rs. 20.00 and i started sending sms and after sending some SMS i checked my main account balance , i was in socked they deduct Rs.1.00 per SMS after that i called to Customer care center ,they told that it was for voice SMS it was not for text SMS(But in SMS this was not mentioned), i complained about it to customer care but they did not take any action about it.

                                    I was also pushed a HD Airtel Digital TV on purchase of Samsung LCD at the time Diwali.

                                    I have applied for a new Airtel DTH connection online and there starts my misery. After repeatedly calling to Airtel Customer Care for one week, they failed to do the installation. They give me so many false promises which made me took leave and wait in my home for service guys to come and do the installation. Finally the reply was "WE HAVE MANY CUSTOMERS, WE ARE NOT SURE WHEN WE CAN COME AND DO INSTALLATION".

                                    That was the last thing which I expected from a company like Airtel. I decided to go for cancellation and asked for refund. Airtel Customer care was so happy to do that and promised me the refund with in 10 days. Now it is almost one month, I have not received the money but only apologies and assurance from Airtel that I will get my money with in 10 days. Not sure when this 10th day will come.

                                    1. I Colonel N S Bhasin am a serving army officer and an airtel customer. I have been a repeated victim of their cheating ways. I have two airtel phones both in my own name ([protected] and [protected]).

                                    2. On both these phones airtel has been automatically without any demand from my end been activating services like GYAN, JOBSEARCH and YARANA and many more. Sometimes I get to know that they have turned on some such service which I unsubscribe but even then they have already charged me for the month/ week etc.

                                    3. Whenever I have complained to their customer service representative they say that they are helpless and can only help by disconnecting the service for the future. Today when I called them they put me through to a 'supervisor' who refunded these illegal deductions of Sep 2011 for one phone no - [protected].

                                    4. In view of the foregoing, may I request that this matter be looked into and such unethical (cheating) must be dealt with seriously.

                                    5. I would also appreciate if I could get a penal refund for both my phones.

                                    On my Mobile No.[protected] (Pre-Paid), I had received a call from Radio Mirchi on 06.11.2011 for some subscription but I had not followed any instruction told by them, even I had not disconnected the call. Now I had received a message that they have deducted Rs.10 for one week.
                                    I had requested to Airtel to refund the same but they denied to refund.

                                    STILL WAITING FOR DISCONTINUE THE FALSE SUBSCRIPTION !

                                    On the 14th of October i purchased an Airtel Sim Card which offered me free 50mb internet services every month for 6 months. The scheme also consisted of 300 Local + National SMS every month for 6 months. After one month o[censored]sage , they deactivated these lucrative services. On calling the AIRTEL Costumer Care , the officials simply refused to take any action saying that the scheme has now been called off. Such an unexpected behaviour from the most prestigious network of India , Bharti Airtel is a setback for me.

                                    I am Airtel DTH user for last six months but the monthly package has been gradually reduced by the company for last 3 months .
                                    As per the practice monthly package should have been of 30 days as per their advertisement, where as company is providing us the package for only 25 days or less
                                    last month we recharged our dth on 30th oct12 now they say that your validity for the monthly package will expire on 25th Nv 2012 when contacted they say that since you have opted additional pay channel therefore monthly period will be reduced. It is worthwhile to submit that I opted an additional pay channel for initial two months only and paid extra to them accordingly but they continued to subtract the amount from my subsequent monthly packages for that additional pay channel without my consent and thus has been reducing my monthly period. It is a clear cut cheating of the DTH provider.

I have taken Airtel DTH service two years back from the DTH lots available at that time in the market (TATA, reliance, sun direct, Videocon, etc) mainly due to the base plan which was offer to me as permanent pack and with an assurance of best service in terms of channels as well as service.
                                    2. I took this connection mainly for my father who is an aged and retired person and is at home and is much depend on the tv channel mostly (news and sport) for his entertainment.
                                    3. On 22/11/2012 my channels ESPN, Star-Sports and Star-Cricket was removed from my base plan and was replace it by SONY-SIX and TRACE-SPORTS. My father was very annoyed since he was to watch India vs England cricket match.
                                    4. On finding this I contacted the customer care of Airtel and after much discussion with their executive and team leader and told them that no approval or consent given by me to change my base plan and this is clearly a breach of trust and contract. After much discussion i being told that needful will be done and my plan were activated again very next day.

                                    5. However from 27th nov 2012 onward I started receiving sms from Airtel DTH that my sports channel will be discontinued from 30th nov 2012 and i need to pay 25 Rs monthly rental if I need to activated the same.
                                    6. Kindly note I have not approve or given any consent to change my base plan and this is clearly a breach of trust and contract.
                                    7. Please note I have paid till 12th dec 2012 for all my channels.

                                    8. I would like this to be resolved and the channels ESPN, Star-Sports and Star-Cricket be again introduced and SONY-SIX and Trace Sports be removed in the base plan without any extra charges on monthly or yearly basis.

                                    9. Requesting you to kindly look into the matter and please do the needful ASAP.

                                    Cheating in service change

                                    I am D.Oliver vedha sing an ex-navy recently 20days before i changed my AIRCEL service to AIRTEL i gave all documents regarding that they took everything and they deactivated my number and none is responding in both service...
                                    i am totally fed up with both the service because i am holding this number for so long that is 10 years..if i miss this number then i will give complaint and commit suicide for sure...
                                    its a challenging warning and they have to face the problem....the number i gave for changing service is [protected]

                                    I purchased Airtel internet card for Rs 97 on which 2GB internet for day and 2GB internet for night was mentioned but they only gave 650 MB internet pack. When I contacted customer care they told me that we have changed our internet plans. But there are no terms and conditions written on card.

                                    Leading communication title may be good for fools to grab their money. You people are good at cheating. Many newspapers witness that. I have a disgusting case here. I am unfortunately also a user of Airtel with number [protected]. I have two airtel numbers but this one I have kept for internet purposes only. I usually go with plan of rupees 200 for a month. On 14th of November 2014, 11:50 pm, I made a 3g recharge of rupees 51 because I was in Srinagar. Unfortunately recharge was successful but no benefits were given. I called upon customer service to talk about it to which he said that airtel hasn&#039;t provided me the benefits. I said to him that I would be going back to my village on 15th where 3g does not work, so I made a request to refund me to which he agreed. Today was this refunding date. When I called customer service today he disgusted me by saying that benefits were given and used. There wasn&#039;t even an element of shame on their part. Cheers with cheaters!
                                    Airtel deducted Rs.35/- from my main account balance on 30.03.2015 at 11.20 am (my mobile Number [protected]). They sent me an SMS which said - &#039;LAILA service has been activated for 7 days. I never subscribed for such a service. Airtel cheated me with Txn ID - N[protected].

                                      Actually I dint post this to complaint on airtel i just wanted to appreciate the technology evolution airtel is utilizing. Easy Recharge through our own mobile is a great thought. Some case or the other may go wrong as it can go wrong with a few cases but over all motto is really gud.
                                      I went for easy recharge my mobile no is[protected] on 5/6/10 at malviya nagar from ht e shop from which I took my prepaid connection but instead of that i entered no[protected] which is nonexsist . I asked the concered person that you please recharge with correct no he said that he has got the message that it has been successfuly recharged and the money has been reduced from his account , if the no is non exsisting then how it will get recharged please let the airtel recharge my account with 100 Rs so that i can value for my money
