it is a unknown number that is no number.

I have submitted all my documents and deposit of 500 Rs. for converting my prepaid to postpaid. At the time of confirmation call, they were giving us different plan than what they told us at the time of submission of all the documents. We want 199 plan with some local min. and sms free. Please do it if possible othetwise return our deposited amount. That person came from Andheri Airtel Gallery.

First of all i got a SMS services for Rs 53/- and then i got a balance for Rs250/- for SMS and every ISD Sms that i send was deducted from Main Balance instead of SMS acount from 12th December 2008 till 03-Jan 2009.. I called them several time and filed a complaint but it wasnt sorted my main balance was not adjusted with the SMS balance, And now for the past 3 days i keep getting SMS from http://m.igfun.com for the services that i have never activated o[censored]sed and they keep charging me Rs10 everyday. for two times they have return me the amount and accpted their fault and now they arent doing anyting and just blocking my Phone call to customer Service.. Please help us in getting away from this Conning Business Airtel has started.

I have an Airtel SIM (post paid) which has been blocked few days ago. I purchase a new SIM from Ganpati Plaza Airtel office Jaipur. They told me that i will be registered with in four hours, but it is not registered yet. I am unable to received any call which are important to me.I paid my all bill at time but how irresponsible they are...?

Now i want to claim for that how can I ? tell me please...

sir, i am satisfied with air tel services from last two months i had complaints so many times but not appropriate resolution given to me ..
i have a subscription of 1 year pack from 4 august OF HELLO TUNE but my hello tune was unsubscribed on 13th December automatically only in 4 months & 9 days .actually on 13th December i called in customer care to change my hello tune but rather to change it the agent reactivate my hello tune..and my hello tune pack was lapse. i have complaint so many times but i got benefit of only 45 rs after that again 20 rs was deducted ..sir please kindly check and gave me remaining benefit of 7months subscription ..I also complaint at nodal officer and appellate officer but no resolution given to me they only told that reaming balance will provide you but no balance gave me...reference no nodal officer gave to me:[protected]

Dear Sir,

I am working in MNC (Bharat Aluminium Co. Ltd.) at Korba, Chhattisgarh.
Mr. Naveen and Mr. Prabhu, 2 people used to deliver the post paid bills and
collect the payment. They both are not punctual for the last many months.
But now this month they say that they will not come to deliver or collect
the payment and we would have to collect and pay the subscription at the
airtel shop out of Plant. About 150 person are airtel customers in this Plant.
This is embarassment to all of them. Airtel management should instruct the
persons to continue to deliver the bills. In case no solution is sought this will damage
the prestige of the Airtel Family which is famous for CUSTOMOR CARE.

Airtel is misusing the telecom facilities and sending unwanted service messages without registering for it. I am receiving messages from 54321 daily esp. love messages without ever subscribing to it and on top of that Rupee 1.50 is being deducted from my account without my knowledge. I'm in US since last september. so I'm not able to contact the customer care to stop this service which im not subscribed for. I want to immediately stop this stupid messages from airtel to my mobile no. [protected].
Today on 8th March 2011 at 10.27AM I got a missed call from a number [protected]. That was from Pakistan.I called back and a man picked. he told me that He is calling from DISH TV . He said to me that you have won a lottery prize of 15 Lakh.

I already know that its a fake call I cut it.

Airtel has a habit of activating any scheme on a person's no. on their own without even taking the permission of the customer. It has so happened with me not once, not twice but many times that they activate a scheme and send a message after few weeks stating you have so and son facility on and you are being charged this much monthly or daily. This is not acceptable. Airtel had activated some scheme of 'Hungama'. On complaining the customer care apologized and said this would not happen again. I trusted the so called customer care who is supposed to take care of the customers but it was astonishing for me to know that even after the complain when i checked after a few days the scheme was still on. On complaining again today, this hopeless female told me it would be done in 4 working hours but still nothing has been done. I had called around 9 am and it is 2:30pm now. This company is losing many customers and I guess will lose me soon even though I have been a loyal customer of Airtel for over 8 years now. This was my 1st connection and I have maintained it ever since but with this annoying attitude of the customer care and also the weird policy of the company, where they activate any scheme as per their wish, I would definitely not want to carry on with their service.
My connection is deactivated. When I called AIRTEL help deks, I was adviced to visit a Airtel Store with required documents, so I did.
I visited Airtel Office at Sector 25 Noida on 11th Feb 2012 with all documents. The staff their is not able to solve my problem , asked me to wait till thier Vishal sir reachs. Mr Vishal who reached at 11 AM , after addressing few other customers attended me, but that was frustuating experience.

He suggested to take a new connection forgetting this one even though I was carrying all required documents.

I am confused why there is two different version between help desk and Airtel store, if this is not possible to re-activate my blocked number, (as per Mr. Vishal) why helpdesk asked me to visit the store.

Hi, I just activated the 38rs whatsapp pack, then I started using whatsapp alone from my mobile. then I realised that I have been charged from my main balance and I called Airtel customer care. One of the customer care executive gave me some instructions to use that pack. I followed his instructions and started using the pack again. Then I again noticed that I have been charged from my main balance. I lost around 16rs. Again i approched customer care. they deactivated 'Whatsapp' pack and refunded only the amount i spent to activate the pack but not the deducted amount. Again they are asking to activate internet plan to continue using whatsapp. I had a very worst experience ever. I never expected this from Airtel. Very disappointing. If you could solve my problem, I'll be thankful to you. Thank you.

    I like the Airtel network very much. I want to convey the idea that I want neither those services nor those service messages on my phone. I'm hereby requesting, just stop sending me those stupid service messages with useless offers.

      Despite my several requests to the Airtel for MNP from 24th May, 2012 till now my request for MNP has not been completed and have been creating problems on flimsy grounds and not allowing me to migrate to Tata Teleservices providers. My cell No.[protected] and my name is Ashok Kumar and i request the concerned authorities to take immediate action against the above service providers and see that my MNP request is completed at the earliest.

        I ordered on Airtel Digital TV Connection ID No. [protected] on 26.06.2012 for a package of 'Value Sports' which is Rs.165.00 per month on Toll Free Customer Care No. of the Company But they started a package of Rs.248.00 p.m. plus Rs.13.81 extra deduction per day. I made a call on customer care number but Mr. Dixant said that we cannot change the package.
        Company provided us HD Set Top Box whose rental was Rs. 175.00 per month under 'Value Sports' but now company has changed its rates to Rs.248.00 per month without any notice. Mr. Dixant was saying that higher rental will be charged on HD Set Top Box.
        Company should exchange our HD Set Top Box with simple Set Top Box if it has changed the monthly rental rates.

            I would like to bring to your notice that we are bearing the installed airtel mobile tower on the roof of H-89,vikas puri without any prior permission from respective authority or negligence of NOC undertaken from us.


            We would like to bring to your notice that installation of mobile towers in residential area is not authorized by the Deptt of Telecom. As mobile tower emits RF radiations and is harmful for health. The dangers of people suffering from ill effects of radiation are many, such as cancer and brain tumor.                 I was a core airtel customer. But now I have been made to rethink my decisions. I had taken Airtel 3G dongle about a year back. Recently, by looking at the airtel website (attached screen shot) I made a recharge for Rs. 250. As per the website it says 1GB data usage with validity of 1 month. But when I reached my PC to check the recharge, I had received only 512MB of data usage. When I enquired about this with the customer care their reply was not at all satisfactory. I had to call again for the same and the person who received the call forwarded me to his supervisor. He immediately provided me with nodal officer's mail ID, saying he can only do that for me.
                After this I mailed to the nodal officer, who did not answer my query, and after wait of around 4 days, nodal officer replied me for more details. I replied back with the details and for this I got a mail from nodal officer saying he has escalated the issue. This is the 5th day since the escalation and I have not yet received any answer or solution to my query. I am pretty sure Airtel would never be my suggestion to any of friends, if this how they interact with the customers. I am hoping for a resolution at the earliest.

                  Please find below my experience for purchase of a new Airtel DTH connection which is in complete contrast to their current TV campaign. My local cable service provider is much more efficient and responsive.

                  June 29, 2012 - I book 2 connections (HD recorder and normal DTH connection) through your call centre and make payment. I am assured that I will get the installations in 72 hours
                  July 1, 2012 - I dont get any call, so I call and lodge an email complaint. Basis the same, I get a call and am assured that the installations will happen the next day
                  July 2, 2012 - Nothing happens. I write another email and also send an email through your grievance link on your website. I get a call and I am assured again that the installations will happen the next day
                  July 3, 2012 - Different day, same story - NOTHING HAPPENS!
                  July 4, 2012 - I get another call and again I am assured that installations will happen the next day at 10:30am
                  July 5, 2012 - AGAIN NOTHING HAPPENS!

                  Airtel should stop its current TV campaign as it is not what Airtel DTH is about. They should sort their back end and then claim that the Airtel digital experience is superior to cable TV.

                    AirTel released below advertisement few days ago.

                    This offer is valid for Mumbai and Maharashtra customers. When I called AirTel Hadapsar, Pune office, he asked me to visit Hadapsar office with paper advertisement. I visited AirTel office along with paper advertisement but that guy refused to provide me data card. Reason being offer not valid in Pune.

                    Advertisement clearly says offer is valid in entire Maharashtra. I sent complaint email to AirTel on 21st June. They responded lately and by the time offer got expired.

                    Now, they call me and say offer is not valid anymore.

                    AirTel Hadapsar, Pune office refused to provide me data card without proper reason and AirTel responded lately. Because of their mistakes and i was not able to utilise this offer.

                    What do I do to log complaint against AirTel?

                      On 28/05/2012 we came to the airtel relationship centre at mettupalayam road vadakovai Regarding changing the name in our bill from Manappuram General Finance and Leasing Limited to the Manappuram Finance Limited,they received the letter and assured that we will change the name from the nest bill onwards.But we received the bill in the next week in the name of Manappuram General Finance and Leasing Limited only.when we went ther again they said that we can't change the name in the current bill,they also said that it will be changed from next bill.On 04/07/2012 we paid the previous bill amount of Rs.1190 Landline No.[protected].So we request you to change it as soon as possible.

                        02/07/12 . i contact customer care many time but they are not responding . when i last contact to seniour customer care on 02/07/12 in about 2 to 3 pm,he tell me your complain is registered and shortly inform you by sms and resolve shortly or upto 05/07/12 ,but no response by customer care. i recieve sms by AK-AIRCCM on 04/07/12 at 1.13 pm

                        AirTel — SMS problem

                        Im residing at Kolkata. from my prepaid([protected]) and postpaid([protected]) nos from last two days im unable to send sms to a particular Delhi { idea subsc} no -[protected].

                        most surprisingly ur cust care from kolkata is total failure in solving the problem. im totaly dissatisfied their service, cust handling and attitude.

                        i also got similar problem with airtel not able to send SMS since more than three months my job demands regular sms due non cooperarive approach of airtel officials i took addn bsnl connection which is working fine with same phone set.
                        Airtel company has very very poor customer grievence cell but their claim is very tall (bogus).[protected]

                          I am in abroad on employment basis. i am using my airtel number on international roaming. however airtel has revoked my number into free recycle list without any notice. They claim that they had called me but I haven't received any such call. and now the number is revoked and this seems to me a serious security issue as all my bank are connected through this number for mobile banking.
                          I had called the customer care and they say they can't do anything.

                          Please guide me.

                            I purchased Airtel DTH changing from Tata Sky thinking it would be great also Airtel provides more tamil channels and now I find myself in pathetic position, when Tata Sky was installed, I never knew there is something called activation since everything was automatic, smooth and fast, the moment it was installed it was working beautifully, Airtel was such a disappointment I purchased through sales agents from Customer Care, the moment they sold me the connection I could never call them back, my number was blocked as well. The installation happened after 2-3 days, then after 3 days it is still not activated, I made endless calls, everytime I was promised that someone will call me back, mails will be sent to higher tech teams, the activation happens within 4 hours etc, but nothing happened.

                            I bought HD connection, I was told since I was a postpaid Airtel customer I would get HD box for 2299/- and get 1 month south economy sports pack with lifetime free Tamil channels. Impressed with this I made a regretting mistake, if Airtel could not fix the technical problems since it is already too late for a TV connection pls refund my money and take the dish and box I could at least use my existing Tata Sky connection.

                              I am Vinod Tanwani, customer of Airtel Digital TV from last 20-24 months (customer number -- [protected]) . I am facing disconnection from yesterday. Today I called customer care to resolve the issue. (ref no[protected]
                              I told them that my preferred time to visit service engineer is 7.30 PM, they told OK.
                              I got call from engineer (from number [protected]) and he told me that we will visit my home at 5 PM, I told him that my preferred time is 7.30 so come after that.
                              He was extremely RUDE, he told me that I will not come at 7.30, I dont know what you talked to customer care, then I disconnected the phone saying that I will talk to customer care.


                              I again called to customer care and explained the situation and also complaint about that RUDE engineer , customer care executive said that they will send some one at 7.30PM today,
                              No one visited my home till 8 PM, I again called customer care, and now they are saying that my problem will resolve on 6th JULY !!!!


                              As per me TATA Sky and other provider's customer care service is much better than Airtel.


                              Other Concerns regarding Airtel digital TV:
                              --> Whenever I call to customer care, every time i have to wait for 5-10 minutes, so many times call cut happen in between wait period
                              --> They charge 100/- for any engineer visit, even thought there is airtel fault, as per my view this is wrong, other providers dont charge for engineer visit.
                              --> half of the time, website of airtel digital TV doesn't work

                                i have been filing complaints from since February nt to add useless zapak n big flix amount to my bill as i hv nevr subscribed..
                                everytym da customer care guy apologises n corrects da bill,,i m fed of dis now
                                dis time dey hav crossed da limits..
                                dey keep calling n say u hv lot of outstanding amount to pay...i xplain dem da whole situation bt stil nothn happens
                                dey file a complaint n assure me to fix da problem widin 48 hours..
                                n widin 48 hrs a new customer care calls me n says me to pay da bill again i xplain da whole thng,,,n he files da complaint...
                                n dis goes on n on,,
                                dis ol is happenin frm since 2 weeks..

                                i would change airtel in dis continues.....

                                  I had booked for a new Airtel DTH connection on 2nd July 2012. I made the full payment of Rs 1640 / - via credit card online on 2nd July. After making the payment I was told by the sales person (Mr. Sugat Salve from the central sales and mktg team in Mumbai) over phone that my installation would be done within 48 hours. I also got an email from Mr. Khan Salman (Team Leader, Vertex Customer Solutions India Pvt Ltd - backoffice for Airtel I guess!!!) confirming that the installation would be done at my premises within 24 to 48 hours. It has already been 48 hours and I have still not received any call regarding installation.

                                  Moreover, I have tried calling back on the customer care number [protected] to check the status. However, as soon as they hear that there is some complaint the phone gets disconnected. I do not know whether the call center guy is purposely disconnecting the phone or there is some technical issue; but since the call works fine till I make my complaint, I believe that the call center guys are disconnecting on purpose. Having to dial through all the options (dial 1 for english, 2 for new connection etc etc) each and every time is very painful and at the end of it when the call center person disconnects the call purposely it is very very irritating. Is there no option for consumers like me than be at the mercy of these corporates who make false promises all the time?

                                    Respected Sir,

                                    I had one mobile no. [protected] (Tata Indicom) and by MNP on 3rd April'2012 choose to portability in airtel.
                                    I have taken the no. and submitted my complete documents to M/s. Ranjan Enterprises, Jasidih, Deoghar.
                                    On 28.04.2012 my no. was disconnected temporarily without any information.
                                    After complaint, they informed that my documents was not complete so disconnected. I requested to re-submit my documents again.
                                    I have submitted once again to Area distributor Mr. Ranjan Pathak of M/s. Ranjan Enterprises, Jasidih, Deoghar and again my no. became start.

                                    Suddenly on 29.05.2012 it stopped working. After complaint, customer care executive told me that my no. deleted permanently from airtel database.
                                    In between neither they have called nor I got any sms from them.

                                    After several emails to following email ID:

                                    nodalofficer.[protected]@in.airtel.com
                                    Miss Sugandha from appellate Bihar airtel office called me back and informed to resubmit documents to any ARC to get the no. I've informed her that I'm not able to go to any ARC because of health problem. So suggest some another way.
                                    She told me to resubmit the documents to Area distributor and inform by email.
                                    I have made it and emailed to all above IDs.
                                    But after waiting so many days no resolution provided by them and only auto reply email I am getting from them.
                                    Again after long discussions, Mr. Ashok Sharma has suggested me to submit the documents in ARC at suitable time and then I have submitted my documents on 29.06.2012 bearing AEPF No. 34160205 in ARC, Patna to Mr. Sachin (On Duty).
                                    He has given one SIM no.[protected] (H 5) and told me that it will restart within 5-6 days.
                                    When till today I have not seen my no. working, Email sent to all again
                                    They called me and suggesting that I need to go again to ARC, Patna to talk with them as address is not verified.

                                    I am working in a company as Business Development Manager- East and always being on official tour to so many locations in the states of Assam, Tripura, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Bihar.
                                    The no. is old and it is distributed in my personal and professional network. I am completely feeling exhausted as suffering due to not able to connect by them as my no. is not working.

                                    Airtel — automatically FHM@5 ACTIVATION

                                    i do not how but [protected]@5 has been activated on date 15/08/2011 in my number [protected],and continuously deducting rs 5 from my acct.main balance with a message that you have been renewed the [protected]@5 service but truly i do ,,not even know what the service is about and how i renewed it,when i call customer care about this ..first they tell that this service has not been activated and disconnect call,again when i called they continuously disconnect my call,at last when i got to tell them about my problem they told me that we just take your request and we will take action in another two days . but this will tend me deduct more 10 rupees from my acct.and also i am not sure about them weather they will take some action .and if also they deactivate the service this time can i be sure that it will not activated automatically further..PLZ DEACTIVATE IT QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE

                                      I had recharged with amount Rs.333/- (Full Talktime) from airtel website "https://pay.airtel.com/PrepaidOnlineRecharge/mobileRecharge.jsp" on 29th May 2012. The recharge was not successful and i didn't receive the refund on my credit card till date (i.e 4th July 2012.). Airtel customer care provided me in incomplete details and misleaded me by telling me to go to customer center which also didn't help me. I then mailed to airtel nodal officer which contacted me on 18th June 2012 and asked me for my credit card statement till 16th June 2012 to be mailed at airtel.[protected]@in.airtel.com" and told that he will contact me in 2 - 3 days. Till date (i.e 4th July 2012.) I have not received any call from them and when i try to call back on the number (i.e [protected]) from which the nodal officer had called, nobody answers it.
                                      I kindly request you to please solve my issue and help me. I have already gone through a lost of stress and mental agony. To top this all airtel starts any service without any confirmation and keeps deducting the balance when contacted customer care, they tell that I have only started the service using their wap services.
