Hi Sir,
I am using Airtel network with the number [protected],few week back i have activated for DND(do not disturb) services by calling airtel Customer care, the executive who took a call said it will be activated in 7days,
On june 23rd 2012 i got marketing SMS from HDFC bank number was [protected], I have called to customer care and logged a complaint regarding this executive said that my complaint got register and will get a feed back call, but till now i dint get any call from Airtel,
Today again i got a call from[protected] lady spoke to me and said that she is from HDFC BANK and offered some personal loans, I asked her "from where did you get my number..?" she said my office gave a database i asked for a senior person she disconnected the call.
I request you to please register my complaint and investigate on this, I want necessary action should be taken on Airtel,
Airtel has become a poor service provider and pathetic customer care service they are handling.

Airtel HD TV — No installation of Dish once money is paid
I have bought a Sony TV and got a airtel HD Dish TV activation kit. I was asked by call centre in Airtel to recharge for another 2000 Rupees to get the connection booked.I paid the money. That was on 1 st March 2010. Then i called to book a installation. The airtel employee in call centre promised a installation within 48 hours. Later I got a sms saying installation booked for 28th March 2010. I immedieatly called and was told that it is a mistake and they will ask their backend team to install with in 48 hours.
3 weeks have passed and no one bothers to come. I have called the call centre at least 10 times , every time they promise to get it dine in next 24 hours but nothing gets done.
Toady i.e. 18th March they are not even picking up my call on 12150 ... i simply hear sms CALL to 54325 and call gets disconnected.
They are big cheaters and i would advise everyone not to choose them . I'll keep posting any progress on my case if it ever happens.
