Hi,

I am a resident of South City 2, Gurgaon.

On 29th May, 2012, I filed a request for Broadband activation on my Airtel fixed line number (I had 2 numbers and i wanted to shut down one and get internet on the other number).

But after multiple assurances, follow-ups and days of harrassment, the broadband has still not been activated on my number.

The original service requests numbers are: 16769046 and 16885214. Everytime I make a call to the cust care< i get a new timeline. The docs have been collected and verified but no internet!!!

Dejected, I also asked for a connection closure but the connection has also not been closed. I am getting bills though!

I don't know how Airtel can treat its so-called PLATINUM customers like this...let alone normal customers. I have been with Airtel for the last 8 yrs now and this is what I get from them!!!

I hope somebody reads this and ppl make up their minds judiciously!!

Broadband — Broadband Not working for more than 1 month

My BSNL land line number is[protected]. The broadband service is not working for more than one month. I have made several complaints through 198 and personally went many times to BSNL office at Malkajgiri for registering the complaint. Nobody takes care of the complaint. Whenever I go, officials say that it will be done by 5PM today, but nothing is done. Much of my important work is stopped due to the non functioning of internet. I have paid my internet bill without using it for more than one month.

AirTel — Not Activating Broadband

Hi,

I had requested for my broadband activation on line no [protected] on 18th of April , they commited a date of 23th April to me. It was not activated. i had called customer care about 30 times , talked to floor managers , they also gave me 2 by 2 days committment and today is 5th of May. No one is bothered about my request and its still in Open status as per Airtel. I'm very pissed of the service and commitment they give to customers. They gave me a compllaint number 45353304. They are not taking any action. They'll always say you'll get a call back or updates , but no one calls back. This is hedious on Airtel's part

    The outgoing facility on my number, i.e., [protected] has been discontinued without information. Customer Care service also couldn't resolve the issue. Please look into the matter and resume the service ASAP.

    I received a call from your side stating that my documents are not available with Airtel. After a month and a half of purchasing the SIM, the outgoing facility is blocked without any information and now my documents go missing. This carelessness on your part causing me trouble is certainly not acceptable. I even checked with the retailer I bought the SIM from and he confirmed to have submitted my documents.
    I have another complaint regarding this number. A guy from Gorakhpur keeps calling and claiming that this is his number that went missing 7 months ago. I tried to tell him that I bought a fresh SIM but he just won't listen. He even allegedly visited Airtel Store, which I advised him to do, for confirming that it was my number and not his but the calls keep coming. The SIM has been nothing but a headache for me.
    Please, solve these issues with immediate effect. They are not helping Airtel's image in any way.
    I resubmitted my documents and Airtel Store guy said the service will be restored within 72 hours. It has been4 days now and still the outgoing facility is unavailable.
    It's really appalling to see you turning a deaf ear to customer complaints.
    Are you people listening at all?
    The Customer Care service told me that MY SIM was cancelled without MY consent. They don't know upon whose request was it done as it doesn't pertain their department and there is no such thing as inter-department communication. Do you sell your SIM just to harass your customers or is this any personal grudge against me?

      on 25th june 2012, at 2055 hrs, i receieved a call from [protected]. It came to my knowledge that call is from pakistan. Although i missed the call, but i am concerned about how did the calling person got my number. I would appreciate it if you would look into this matter.

          This mail is in utter frustration after following up with your AirtelDTH customer care for last 14 days. I have upgraded my connection from SD to HD Recorder and even after multiple follow-up to get the new STB installed. Since then it's almost 15 days nothing is done.

          1. I called up customer care.They said that they have logged complaint. No action after that
          2. I called customer care again, they said complaint is being forwarded. Where I do not know. No action again
          3. After that called up customer care several time and the response has always been that some one will contact within 30 minutes but no has ever contacted.
          4. Sometimes have to have to hold calls to extreme of 40 minutes after that call gets disconnected.
          5. Sometimes I get answers that they cannot transfer calls to seniors (other times they are forwarded)
          6. Even seniors do not care to take up the responsibility of attending the customer.

          a. I have paid the money through Credit Card through AVR System on 20th June, 2012.
          b. After following up since 23rd June, 2012, on 25th June, 2012 after 6:30 pm. I was told my transition has failed.
          d. After getting details from Bank it was none that it has failed as Airtel might have not acknowledged back.
          e. Again have done transaction on same day that is on 25th June, 2012. And personally did verified it.
          f. Got call form service team on 25th June, 2012, saying that my installation will be done on or before 27th June, 2012 before 12 pm (after that no one responded on every call they say they are sorry)

          This is harming the reputation of company like Airtel as I know how important it is to make reputation of an company.

          I think Rs 4990.00 has gone complete waste. In case you are listening to this post, I would expect some action.

            I have purchased an Airtel 3G data card on 29/06/2012 and submitted my below proof for activation , Till today it was not activated, and the Response of the workers are very bad

            no i have the instrument and nothing to do with that , i have wasted 1200 rupees

            Purchased from = Jazz Telcom
            Product = Airtel 3G Data Card

            Proof Provided = Voter ID,PAN card, Aaadhar Card, Driving License

            Till now nobody called from the office , Don't what Air tel wants me to do
            Nobody from the customer care is responding for this

            Please dont go with the Airtel 3G data card

                This issue dates back to mid-February of this year. I currently have an Airtel number - [protected] for my iphone on which voice and GPRS services are activated and I have been using this number for one and a half years now. In Feb, I had taken a new number for corporate blackberry services - [protected], for a blackberry that my company provided to me.
                Your Airtel representative - Sanjay - had filled up the form for the new number, but even after a week, blackberry services did not get activated. After one week of follow up, I found out that customer care had activated an 'internet' only plan instead of the requested blackberry plan.
                In trying to get this rectified, this is what happened - Customer care folks activated Blackberry plan on both my numbers from the same date!!!
                So on one hand, Airtel started charging me for BB services on my iphone ([protected]) - I obviously cannot use BB services on an iphone. Till date, Airtel has charged me an extra amount of Rs 1885 for services that I did neither request for nor have used.
                And on the other hand, I started following up for the second number- [protected], as I hadn't received even a single bill and suddenly the BB services were stopped in April. After multiple follow-ups, I found out that your data entry operator made a typo error and the incorrect email ID was updated. I did not even receive the first paper-bill. How am I supposed to pay the bill when the bill is not even sent or emailed to me???
                I am no longer using the second number, as the services were suspended. I have made repeated calls and have sent multiple emails to Airtel to sort out this issue. I have spoken to at-least 7/8 supervisor level people at customer care, but no-one ever followed up. All of them told me that they would call me back with 48 hours with the resolution, but no-one did. The tickets have been closed in your system without providing any solution to me. Now, I am being harassed for outstanding payment on my second number.
                Airtel has done nothing to help - The amount of 1885 on my first number has not been refunded. The email id for the second number has still not be updated. I still have not received any bills for the second number. And to close this second number, I am being harassed to pay the outstanding amount - which I will now till the earlier amount is refunded.

                  On thursday night ( 28th June 2012 ) i have raised a request to " Airtel DTH Customer Care " for de-installation of my dth connection ( old place in chennai ) and reinstall it on my new place in chennai. I clearly told that i am a professional guy and i work Monday to Friday and i will be in office and i will not be avialable in my home. I waited for engineer to come on saturday and sunday ( June 30 2012 and July 1 2012 ), but no one visited my home. So on sunday i personally went to my old home and de-installed my dth connection. Now customer guys ( airtel dth ) on monday without resolving my problem they closed my complaint. They are harassing me like anything.

                    Dear Sir,

                    I have paid the amount (Rs. 1199/-) by cash to an executive from Vertex Customer Solutions India Private Limited on 19-Jun-2012. He said the installation will be done with in 48 hours. But I have not got any call for the same. So I have called the execute to whom I have paid and asked for installation then he said he is working for Reliance DTH not for Airtel DTH.

                    I have complained many times by calling 12148 and send many mails to "Airtel.[protected]@vertexgroup.co.in " to resolve this issue.

                    Please help me out to refund my money.

Tran Id[protected] is generated for future reference and in my bank account balance was also debited from rs 299. But recharge was not done successfully.Kindly do the needful for the same.

                      i sent message to 1900 from airtel...2days before....as requseting for MNP...actually i wished to form airtel to docomo...becoz of heavy deductions and high call rates..
                      unfortunately one representative of airtel called me and asked y ur changing to other opertor...i replied him above the problms...thnhe said dnt wry sir...
                      from onwards u will be charge 1p/6sec to air/air and 1p/2sec to other...thn i agreed for his offer....and he said this offer will activated wthin 24 hrs........
                      bt till not yet.......
                      like this airtel did so many fake promises with me and my frnds.........they make agree customers by giving good offers...bt after cancelling my MNP Reqst...

                        yesterday, on 1 july, 2012, evening, I had taken a top up 3g internet recharge of rs. 750 from airtel.

                        My airtel 3 g dongle number,which is victimized is [protected].

                        As I said it is a airtel 3g dongle which I am using for past 5 months, after I buy a top up recharge of rs. 750 for 4 gb download, I am getting only up to 10 - 80 kbps speed where as for last 4-5 months I was getting speeds up to 1 to 2.8 mbps. I was highly satisfied with airtel services, but now it is way below even 2g internet speeds.

                        Please solve the problem as soon as possible, as I am a web developer I am losing my business, please help.

                        worst connection ever in kolkata.just .don't waste your money
                        airtel 3g in Kolkata is useless. they cant even provide a stable signal which gets very very frustrating and annoying. There are times when i cant even send a simple sms not to mention calls..

                          My name is Chetan and my airtel number [protected] was barred on 1st july 2012 at 12 am... I was not given any intimation about it.
                          When i called customer care and asked why it was barred, they did not seem to know anything about it
                          They also refused a refund or compensation.
                          I am disappointed by this unethical treatment by airtel and by their incompetence.
                          Hoping for quick resolution of this issue.

                            this is the third time i am filing this complaint. i filed the complaint against the unnecessarily charges charged for zapak and big flix .i.e. RS 378-. we won't pay the bill till you send the correct bill without these charges put. these charges were charged in the bill resent by you. so kindly send another bill without these charges put as soon as possible. or else you can cut our airtel fixed landline and internet but we won't pay for these wrongly charges put in our bill.                               During the month of April company provided free extra service for one month without any information to me. In the month of May 2012 I did not requested to the company to discontinue the said service, because I was not aware about that. When I received the bill for the month of May i was surprised to see that company has charged Rs.602/- for said service. I have not paid the said bill till date. I want to make the payment after resolution of the said extra charges which are forcibly added in the bill. You are requested to resolve my problem. I shall be highly thankful to you.

                                I was using an IDEA no.([protected]) for around 10 years, which I ported to Airtel due to its services in J&K, as i am posted there. I submitted all the documents that were asked. It continued for around more than one & a half month, i deposited one month's bill also but then it was disconnected for want of papers again. Since I was not in Delhi it took me around one month to come to Delhi and resubmit the papers. But by that time my connection was disconnected permanently.
                                Now when I contacted the airtel they say that since it is originally an Idea no. it can be given to me by Idea only. But when I contacted Idea they told me that when they don't have that no. as it is with airtel right now, how can can they give that no. to me.
                                Now my questions are:
                                1. When both the companies are passing the buck on each-other, why should I suffer in getting my decade old no. back?
                                2. When I submitted my documents at the time of connection/porting, why company asked me to submit documents again?

                                Kindly assist me in getting my decade old no. back.

                                  It is almost 1 week since I tried changing my package to A la carte package.I have spoke to customer care agents .Theses are the various suggestions they have given by the different agents ,, they said:
                                  1.plz turn on dth when changing it online
                                  2.Plz wait 48 hrs

                                  4.plz try again
                                  5.server is down do Pl try this website

                                  Its been over a month and i have been trying switching to ala carte. I have signed in several times on airtel website in an attempt to activate ala carte but nothing happened. have also spoken with the customer agents and they keep making false promises that your problem will be resolved in the next 24 hours.
                                  i have been put on hold several times and the agents never get back to the call. i am really frustrated and plannig to switch to other service provider after lodging a complaint in written airtel against.
                                  I dont want their god damn set up box and want a refund as soon as possible else i am heading to consumer court.

                                    I have aritel connection [protected], previously it was a pre-paid cell and due to some people who does ad for post-paid I did the mistake of conveting to post-paid. From that day till today I am suffering of that mistake.
                                    Always I pay the bill via net using HDFC netbanking gateway.
                                    During the month of July also I paid via HDFC bank and it was charged twice and took one month of fight after giving all the reference number to make my phone active. Last time I took the pain followed up to resolve it. That time it was handled be Vaishali- Hadpasar branch

                                    I took a new connection one year before. Initially Airtel announced their network is very good. Within few days the network was down. The voice clarity is not clear. I made the payment Rs.300 every month (Excluding Call Charge, Rental Only). I called Customer Care People. They informed us. “There is some network problem. It will be rectified very soon”. After six month also the Problem is not closed. I asked to close my connection. They asked to make the payment everything. I made the payment. Almost two years has been completed. I am not yet received My Initial Deposit. I visited Airtel Relation Center Every Month. Spend the two hours time to meet ARC People, but there is no use. Finally i took the decision. In Future, I should not take an Airtel Connection and not to recommend also.

[protected], not getting the service as I was expected with you and for that, only I switched from BSNL to Airtel. It is very sorry to say that but the service, which I am getting, is much poorer than BSNL.

When i used to make a call in any no. of BSNL, BSNL Landline or Vodafone, repeatedly its saying network is busy and it will take minimum half an hour to make a call or more than that or sometimes I am not able to get it. And most of my colleagues complaint me, they are not getting me in my no. either network busy problem or switch off, not reachable like things, specially from BSNL, BSNL Landline, Vodafone, etc. One more thing which come in my knowledge is local BSNL users cannot make a call to me without using "0" or +91whether it is a local no of BSNL.

                                    I have already given you three-four written complaint in your mail id & [protected]@airtelindia.com, which is enclosed for your ready reference. And I got system-generated mail this no. does not exist.

                                    I have requested to get a statement of my bills of airtel, and i have made a request on Feb 1st week,
                                    For this request, i have spoken to almost 20 to 25 airtel staff, and 7 floor managers,

                                    I am using Airtel from 2001, usualy i have given this Airtel No to everybody for my bussiness. service they are providing is wrost to wrost. I am doing most of STD calls and due to poor service i am loosing 2 to 3 thousand rupees per month only on Airtel & this complain i am giving for the improper activity by this service provider. As I recharged my mobile with Rs 40/- card for local calls which will cost me 60ps instead of Rs 1 on 6th of may and recharge another card on 21st may to reduced STD calling rates from Rs 1.5 to Rs 1/min . After recharging this STD card they stopped my local 60ps charge without any prior information.

                                    I am helpless because my Mobile No [protected] i have given to everywhere, if i changed my no i may loose big oppertunity.

                                    I have recharged my phone with a recharge denomination of Rs.94- on 10th Nov 2009 at an around 10:30 PM.
                                    And according to this recharge denomination i should get 100MB free GPRS from 8AM to 11:59PM and 2GB free GPRS from 12 Midnight to 7:59 Am.
                                    I did got the service but only 100 MB not 2 GB.
                                    i made Several complains in ur Customer Care Department but all in vain. No body was able to rectify my problem.

                                    I am a user of Air Tel DTH.I am regularly using it from 6-7 months. But now it is not working properly. I had registered a complaint to Air Tel DTH Customer Care request no. 5407613 dated 13.02.2011.The customer care replied that our complaint would be attended at 5:26pm dated 13.2.2011.But our complaint was not attended till 5:30 pm 14.02.2011.So I again call at helpline. They responded that please contact [protected] if our case is not resolved. When I contacted the dealer he responded by saying that from where u purchased your Air Tel DTH. But he did not resolve our case. Then again I called to customer care and they responded by saying that our case would we finally resolved by 5:00 pm dated 15.02.2011.But instead of that I got the message that our case has been resolved. But no one came to our house to check the system and not even it is resolved. I am being exploited by the dealer and the company.

Really it is very bad experiance of Airtel DTH. Since installation I am getting problem again & again. We have another connection( of my brother) of TATA Sky that is running perfectally without any service issue. Airtel DTH service is very very poor. Being a customer I would suggest to every one please do not instal Airtel DTH. Their customer care executive makes false commitment to customer. Which is very bad. I am going to complaint in Consumer Court regarding the Service of Airtel DTH.

                                    1) Mobile Internet is not working well that means working for only 20-30 seconds and remaining idle and again i have to redial the connection.

                                    for this problem, i called many times.. they always respond to one thing... your settings problem, we'll send settings and some will say... we'll guide you to set the settings... but my problem is not the settings.... Connection continuity is my problem... atleast i called for 15 times... every time they say... we are giving settings now... apply now... it will work... i[censored] have any problem... call to 121 or 12118...

                                    After sometime... i called and said the problem... and i asked to Please connect to your Superior... i can explain what the problem is.... that guy said.. "i'm connecting sir ... pls. wait... " me waited for 10 minutes and last call disconnected... i lost money as 0.5rupee/3mintes many times.. but i didn't get the solution...

                                    Some say like your billing message will make like... so call to 121 and deactivate that... i had called to 121... for complaints call 198.. i again called to 198... there call 121 message... at last i tried to connect the person ... there a message saying for any complaints dail *121#

                                    Kindly note that I had requested for channel addition via request no 8202983 dated 21-05-11 and recd SMS from AIRTEL side that for further channel add ons, dish alignment shall be take place and soon engineers will visit my place.

                                    But till date nothing has been done. I have complint to AIRTEL customer care cell n number of times, but the answer I get that my request will be sorted out soon.

                                    This hopeless service was never expected from AIRTEL. I am rethinking of change my service provider if my request is not met immediately.

                                    I Applied For Network Portability from Airtel by sending the required message for porting on 16th June 2011.
                                    After 1 day on 18th at noon I received call from Airtel Care and they said that not to leave Airtel Service and offered me schemes (Airtel to Airtel at 1ps/6sec for 6months, to Other 1ps/2sec for 6months , 370 msg free for 1 month , and 40rs Talktime).
                                    So as they said I cancelled my porting request by the message.
                                    I was told to get the schemes started untill 48hrs, but nothing happened .So i gave a complaint regarding this to the Airtel Customer Care on 20th June.
                                    There also I was told to get the complaint solved within 48hrs (before 24th Noon) , but nothing happened.
                                    After that I tried to talk with the Higher Executives but always the line was disconnected directly from airtel and i was left unanswered.

                                    I have a Airtel prepaid connection with 1 paise/ sec call tariff to any where in India. They have hiked the call charges without any prior info to 1.2 paise/ sec for all calls (Local/STD). When ever they launch any new product they would promote those by calling and send messages to our mobiles. But when they have changed the call tariffs, they dont even have courtesy to inform the customers. The same has been confirmed from the call centre executive.
                                    Being claimed as one of the largest subscribe base in India this is the condition of the known operator.
                                    When no other opearator hjas changed the tariff only Airtel has done it.
                                    this is very pathetic...

                                    Hi this is Atul. Few days back my brother received a call for post paid connection from AirTel. My brother ordered the sim card a person from AirTel come to our house to receive Id and address proof & after checking the documents he provide the sim card for Rs.300/-. After that on a fine day one another person come to verify my address. But now they are call us & told that the documents are incomplete & they are going to disconnect the number. I had given a photocopy of voter ID & Light bill. At the time of receiving money they don't find any problem with documents.

                                    All they do is promise that "it'll be done immediately, today itself our engineer will call you",
                                    but I didn't get any calls.
                                    An engineer called once and was very rude on the phone and told that he doesn't serve this area.

                                    I called up customer care again and they told that the engineer didn't respond because my number was not reachable.
                                    (Might be possible - accepted).

                                    I then provided an alternate mobile no. and provided a landline no. too so that the engineer won't make this excuse.
                                    Still, I didn't get any call.

                                    I called up the cust. care again, and one of their senior officials promised that the work done by 12pm that day,
                                    and guess what, I waited till 12.30, went late for office just waiting for a call.

                                    The same story has been repeating time and again every day !!!
                                    Am really fed up the quality of service of Airtel TV!
                                    This is the first time I'm having such a horrible experience with a private organisation!

                                    I just recharged my account because the Airtel people told that it is mandatory for the shifting process,
                                    and it's a waste now as it's pending since 10 days.

                                    Again I spoke to Customer Care (on 19-Mar), and they told this info and again raised a new ticket number:17178882 for "Wrong Resolution" and ask the one day time.
                                    but again there is no Response from your end after that.
                                    Again I spoke to your customer care on (on 20th-Mar), Again I spoke to your customer care and there is no proper response, Executive tell one reason, after that I spoke to next level of point of contact. that person tell the different reason. Again I spoke to your Zonal officer. He told another reason and ask for a day and commit that he will fix this issue boy EOD(of 20-Mar). After that there is no response from him. Today again I spoke to your zonal officer, then again he ask one day time.

                                    I don't know what your executives are doing. There is no progress towards to fix my problem. Every time the y have lot of reason to tell me. It make me lot of fustration.

                                    Please tell me If you can't resolve this issues, than I will go for the necessary legal action. I don't want to wait anymore. If we did recharge for a day means you disconnect your service right, then why the hell you are taking this much time to resolve this issue? and who is responsible this week wastage of service. I need the money refund for these days.

                                    now airtel network is very bad espesialy the customer care executives not pick the calls quickly and they do not answering properly for the complaints from the customer needs and the service provide from airtel network is very slow compare to the vodafone especialy gprs service.
                                    i'm using airtel sim for around past 8yrs on wards. only airtel service since i was like their service much at that time. bt now a days it's going to very worst in service.
                                    1) i'm using their message and call booster pack regularly. but last time when my sms booster pack ends, i dint activate that service. n i dint sent any messages since they were cutting 75paisa/sms.& i dint top up my balance too. i was maintaining just 10Rs like that for around 3 months. but after that when i was top up my balance for 100Rs. but suddenly the second day they have cut Rs.38 in my main balance & sent a message as "you have been successfully recharge your sms booster", but i dint activate that. then was called to customer care n asked they just replied as "it's a auto renewal pack, and msg has come before two days of renewal.if you are not interested means you can stop the service via reply to that message". but the fact is they dint sent any messages like that and i dint activate that service

                                    2) like that i'm using their hello tune service too. while starting to using that service they told me that, they will cut 15Rs for downloading charge and monthly rental is 30Rs. rental is not a problem, but just before few days they had cut Rs.15 in my main account. while i'm asking to customer care regarding this, they had replied that " now our system has changed, that we will charge Rs.15 as downloading charge for every three months. " but as a service provider they should inform to their customers about their plan change. but they dint...

                                    now a days not only youngsters, all are liking to set hello tune and to use message n rate cutter service. but if they are doing like this means how we can interested to use their service???? their customer support also not good. while recharging every time they are cuting some amount as 'PF' amount. but if asking regard this means no one customer care executives known why they are cutting that charge. now they pushed us to hate their service as much as how we loved their service....

The reply was even more shocking..they said that nobody was picking up the phone at your house. I must tell that I have never come across such a bad services and big liars as my wife remains at home all the time and rest I had given them my mobile number too, but they never contacted.
                                    I again booked the complaint and this time they told that you will get a personal call from our supervisor and also that this issue will be resolved by 11th July and another one on. 16th July. But again for my surprise no one called up and never got any mail. Than I again called up yesterday and talked with chetna she told me that you need to mail us at [protected]@in.airtel.com and you will get the resolution with four working hours. But again nobody has called up within four hours and the day has passed.
                                    So here I am mailing you for the same. But for my surprise airtel team has not come up with any solution yet and I am really upset. Incase if I don&#039;t get the resolution and if the arrears are from your airtel software system than I surely need airtel to refund my money back or else I need a proper explanation for the same else I am, hoping to discontinue with airtel landline and broadband services.

                                        If Govt. thinks applying Digital Addressable Systems (DAS) will improve customer viewing experience than I believe without setting standards like what bitrates, bandwidth, compression etc audio/video quality of both SD & HD channels are not going to improve the viewing experience of consumers instead it’s going to suffer a lot. I have experienced the same with Airtel DTH #1 Worst/Pathetic DTH provider in India. Airtel use MPEG4 DVB S2 technology but still provides inferior quality for both SD & HD Channels this is due to heavy use of compression in place and the end result is picture looks dull, gets blurred many times, audio across all channels are same be it SD or HD effected with heavy DRC or some other compression techniques used by Airtel on a whole poor viewing experience. In fact Airtel charging more than any other DTH provider but still provides cheap services at a very high cost. Airtel Fake Advertisements are everywhere to attract consumers interest in them who are unaware of their cheap tactics and hidden Terms & Conditions which protects them every time and all the burden comes on consumer and this is due to Govt. fault in policy making which must protect their Janta who choose them to rule and the end result is consumers have to pay the price. My request to Information Broadcasting Ministry/TRAI is to take steps against such companies especially Airtel to either return my money or improve their services and heavy fined them/cancel their licenses for humiliating their customers for availing their services.
                                        I have taken this issue up with Airtel Higher Officials before taking this step and the answer is we are the No. 1 DTH Provider in providing the best viewing experience and there is no compression on Audio or Video we have put in place. This means the broadcasters are using obsolete technology or cheap standards to beam their channels or Airtel again lying about this just to save them from consumers? I don’t think so but as per Airtel Technical Team this seems to be the answer. One thing can be they are not much educated in DTH Sector or saving the company from consumers.

                                        with respect to inform you that i am customer of airtel since 9th nov 2008 and my no is [protected] name as SANJAY DHAMELIYA AHMADABAD and in last month they increase a rent for me so i call customers care and ask about that and they told me that you have also activeted Hindi plus top up and i say stop that top up and tell me which channel i Can see now so they told me 5-6 and not ready to tell me all the channels and i see after half an hour of that phone call my all Hindi plus channel's gone but also gone my star plus channel so on 4th december2009 i again call to costumer careand make a complain to this and no was 1570331 on second day they call me and say that your complain has been solved and you can see that starplus channel after half an hour right now updation is going on so right now you can not see the channel but after some time you can see that channel
                                        after that i wait for 2-3 days and on 7 th December i again make a complain with no 1584672 and next day same reply that your problem ahs been solved but still not able to watch star plus but rest of channels ware OK
                                        i wait for Star plus till 9th but not solved till that day i make a complain to them on 9th and no was 1594673.they reply me that all channel are OK but starplus we have to check to your box and card so we will send a engineer to your home tomorrow at 10 am i wait for that engineer till 10 and that person calling me and telling me that you have passed 1 year so my visit not comes in free visit for that you have to pay me i said don't come if i have to pay for and ask him what i pay its a company fault i said to company to stop my top up any why they stop my package channel for which i am paying now also its a company fault and company has to send a person or not that they have to decide i want service for what i am paying its not my fault its your technology fault and why customer has to pay for fault technology use by company its not a mettor of pay but company cheating to customer in such a way so please show me the way what to do next.

                                        DTH COMPANIES — ADVERTISEMENT IN DTH

                                        Sir/Madam,
                                        I would like to point out that DTH companies, are earning double from advertisement & also from the consumer. As we as consumer is paying for the direct to home facility for the downloading of the content hence the company is earning. Second also earning huge amount from advertisement. Why is it so, company if are willing to earn from advertisement than customer should be provided free.

                                        Dual mode of earning is totally wrong.

                                        Second issue how come news channels are broadcasting advertisement & stating that this news is sponsored by this company. This is case for all the news channels, government or private. This is very objectionable and should be stopped immediately.

                                        Hope action is going to be taken in this matter.

                                        I have recently bought a airtel hd-dth connection # [protected]. Engineer from Airtel visited for an issue on non-reciept of certain channels and since then the quality of the picture had deteriorated substantially. I want to get the issue resolved permananently and want somebody from Airtel take this issue seriously. If not, I would request Airtel to refund my annual payment as well as the cost of the stb.

When i called one of your customer care number, they mentioned they had posted the revised plans in news paper. But when i get the balance, the notification states the Rs225 "old plan" status!
