HI am sandeep,

One of airtel customer since 6years now airtel tamilnadu has disconnected my incoming and outgoing without passing any information/giving time limit, I called up customer care they said my number is disconnected because of not providing address and id proof, but am using the same no since 2years but due to some problem with service I, migrated from postpaid to prepaid almost from 3 month am using in prepaid service but on 14th of June around 6:15pm I received sms stating your services will be stopped for not providing document and 6:20pm my incoming and outgoing got disconnected i called up customer care several times from different no but didn’t get any response from airtel.
1st time when called up from my number Mr. Uday picked up call heard everything and told me my manager will call to sort out this issue but didn’t get any response
2nd time one Mr. Prabhu attended call he activated my incoming and outgoing but in 10min deactivated
3rd time connected to miss kripa she kept saying sorry and failed to understand my suffering
these are the 3 calls according to my remembrance but there were two more calls who kept on passing on my call from one to other but finally disconnected without response. MEAN TO SAY TOTALLY UPSET WITH AIRTEL SERVICE.

NOTE; while migrating have given all necessary document as per government rules and as per airtel executive request
Even paid my outstanding bill everything have done everything as per your request but didn’t understand why airtel failed to
Inform me before disconnecting my network

Sir,
Sub: Termination of my Airtel Digital TV services

First of all I would like to bring to your kind attention that I have tried to call your customer care no.1215023 but they disconnect the phone.There is no response from them.This shows how much you care for your customers.
Then coming to the subject,from 25th Dec'2008 I had got a free subscription for 6 months after purchasing a Samsung LCD T.V. Your personnel had come and installed the services for us.Later when I wanted to renew my subscription, I was informed that my voucher was not updated and I have to pay another 1750/-for the 6 months i had used Airtel T.V .Please confirm if I didn't have Voucher how I got 6 months free subscription.Inspite of repeated compliants nothing worked out and I dis-continued using Airtel T.V
Then Airtel wanted me renew my subscription for which I was reluctant.I asked your people to remove the Dish Antenna from my premises.
Then one Mr.Chandru from Global Solutions having office in J.P Nagar,bangalore called me and forced to take up subscription stating that If I pay 3500/-(Three thousand five hundred only)and subscribe for South Mega pack for one year, I will get one more year free subscription i.e 1year + 1year free. So I paid rs.3500/- by cheque on the 28th of Jan'2010 vide bill.no.DTH 170
After that I have watched 3 Hindi movies with the balance I had. Also i have subscribed for ESPN sports channel for watching Foot ball World cup.
Taking above into consideration can you please explain to me why my connection has been cut from 26th of June'2010. Also after repeatedly calling Global solutions, they heve informed that Mr. chandru who collected the money from us has quit the job and I need to contact him.Is this the right way to solve the customers problem as I had given the cheque in the name of Global solutions and not Mr. chandru.
So i request you to give me a valid explanation why my Digital T.V services were terminated.
I request you to kindly look into the matter and ensure that my services are resumed at the earliest.
Also please note if no action is taken from your side I may be forced to take legal actions against you.

Dear Sir,

I am a user of mobile number [protected], which I took in July 2010. I got a message to resubmit the documents which I did in August, even though, the service was again disconnected on September 23rd, 2010 saying to again resubmit the document, which I again did on October 4th, 2010. Today, 08/10/2010, when I contacted the customer care, I was roughly told that they have not received the documents. Its been more than 15 days since I have no outgoing or incoming facility. I would request you to please look into the matter.

THIS IS FOR YOUR KIND INFORMATIUON THAT MY FATHER IN LAW WAS USING AN AIRTEL CONNECTION(CELL NO: [protected]) SINCE LAST 4 YEARS BUT RECENTLY THE CONNECTION WAS DISCONNECTED. WHEN I TALKED WITH AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE REGARDING THIS, THEY ADVISED TO SUBMIT THE INDENTITY AND RESIDENCE PROOF. ALL THE RELATED DOCUMENTS WERE SUBMITTED AT AIRTEL HUB, RUPALI SQUARE , BHUBANESWAR, ORISSA. I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT, THE SIM HAS GOT DAMAGED AND I HAVE TO TAKE A NEW SIM AT THE COST OF 25.00/-. I DID THE SAME. BUT UNFORTUNATELY AFTER ONE MONTH THE SIM GOT DISCONNECTED. AGAIN WHEN I VISITED AIRTEL HUB, THEY WERE NOT RESPONDING ME FOR HALF AN HOUR . THEN I WAS TOLD THAT MY NUMBER IS DEAD AND IT CAN'T BE REUSED. AS THIS WAS MY FATHER IN LAW'S OFFICIAL NUMBER, DISCONNECTION WILL CREAT A BIG PROBLEM FOR HIM. THE SIM WAS VALID UPTO 2025 AND HOW COME IT CAN BE DISCONNECTD BY AIRTEL, BEFORE TIME AND WITHOUT ANY PRIOR INFORMATION.

THIS IS REALLY HARRASHING.I THINK AIRTEL IS NOT INTERESTED TO GIVE BETTER SERVICE. I ALSO HAVE POST-PAID CONNECTION OF AIRTEL WHICH I AM PLANNING TO SURRENDER SOON

KINDLY TAKE NECESSARY ACTION, SO THAT MY FATHER IN LAW CAN REUSE THE SAME NUMBER.

Airtel — Disconnection DTH

Last year I took Airtel Digital TV connection (Customer Number [protected]) and it got expired in on 31st October 2010. The picture quality was no different from the local cable TV, I had decided not to renew after the subscription period. I had called their customer service twice in November about my intention not to renew the connection and sent a email. However last three months, I am subjected to three SMS perday and three calls per day from their call centre. I would have mentioned the same details many times and 90 % of the time I simply disconnect the call. Now, it would be great if they close my account and give relief to me.
Now more than a month has elapsed but things have become bad to worse. I sent a detailed mail but it did not get any response. The airtel fellows have spoiled my weekend for three weeks in a row by promising to come home to take back the set up box but it did not happen. Then I relaised that they were making fun of me for not renewing the cable TV subscription. When I disconnected my cable one year my cablewalla was for more gentle and Airtel DTH takes life out with four phone calls per day from different numbers and they chase you even while you go abroad. They have the full details and what is stopping them from taking the set up box back if that is stopping them from closing my account. From October 31st to March 14th is too long a period and really want to make a official complaint for my mental agony.

Yesterday, 26th june2011, when i woke up, i culdnot make any calls, it was getting disconnected as i was making calls. and incoming calls was coming.

And today, when i went to customer relatioship center. they said your connection is 'Auto disconnected'. they were not able to give any reason for same and said nothing could happen.

Kindly help me, as i have a buisness going and my this number is distributed.

I got Shifted from my previous address where I was having the broadband services of AIRTEL on 13 June,2011. While shifting I made a request for the disconnection of my broadband service but till date the connection is still active and my landlord at my previous address is receiving the bills one after the other. On 28th July,2011 one of the AIRTEL executive also visited my office to whom I paid the Rs. 584/ full & final settlement for my connection and I was promised that the connection would get disconnected on 30th July 2011.

Till date the connection has not been disconnected and my ex-landlord is receiving the bills on regular basis and is not refunding me my security back.

I recently used MNP to transfer my existing mobile number from Idea to Airtel. However, to my horror, this is the worst customer service I've seen. Inspite of submitting all the documents at the time of applying for a change, they disconnected my connection stating that I've not submitted the documents. If I've not submitted the documents, why should they even port my number and immediately after that disconnect it. In this era, they left me without a phone for last 1 week for no fault of mine.

if you check you mails you will get my mail i got auto response foe writing mail and if you disconnect my no you will not be able to contact

    portability & vodafone has sms on dated 21/4/2012 at 11.17 AM vide
    No.VG677412.

    M/s Air-tel had provide me Sim card No.[protected]H3 and facility for
    porting. after that they have stopped my all outgoing nd incoming calls without
    any writing notice. i have already provided the relevant documents to vodafone
    dealer at kodinar distt. junagadh.


    i m having 300 rs. balance at that time. now on approach they have said that
    your no. is deleted. i request you to inter-win in the matter and force airtel
    to restart my services with immediate effects on my above mentioned no.

    i would very much thankful to you for ur kind help in this matter an early
    reply is requested.

      I am airtel prepaid consumer,they on 16.6.2012,deducted Rs 85 in night,as message package,when I asked my consent they said on their 198 service that it when start continue without further consent,when I asked that on 13.6.12 I given message to airtel for DEactivated, they deactivate services and donot returned unused amount. in tis package they offer 6000 call for 200 CALLS per day. but they deativated servive totally.REpresentives"s nature was like a HITLER.
      I given message for PORT with BSNL on 14.6.12 in presence of BSNL Prsonnel,but the did not respond.
      I want to do needfull the matter how they are LOOTING, as adv. of TATADUCOMO.

      Airtel — Deducting charges without consent

      I have taken pre paid mobile connection from Airtel (mob No [protected]). The company has been deducting amounts from balance available on reharge, for services I have not requested for. The helpline provided never connects me to the operator so that I can request for discontinuing for all the services since they are useless for me.

      I therefore request for discontinuing of all the services, including internet services from the service provider M/S Airtel.

        I have last recharged my airtel number on 24 May 2012.
        The validity still exists.

            AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Unable to View the channels

            well i have a free subscription period untill jan 2010,as per the offer ,but they are wrongly deducting Suscription fee amount from my account .Customer care did not have any idea whats going on.they are escaping from my Questions and hung up the calls .I went to the relationship center they also sent me with some not working contact numbers of nodal Offices.

            AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — unable to view channels

            i am unable to view most of the bengali channels ,colors and also lifestyle channels.have filed a complain on 1st sept but till date nobody has attended it.also got uncooperative response from customer care.also my daily subcription is being deducted insipte of me noting the customer care.

              on 25.05.2012 i got my SMS pack for Rs.55 activated on autorenewal. On 14.06.2012 my services were discontinued abruptly. Thinking that may be the SMS quota has finished I again reactivated the sms pack through *555#. Rs 55/- were deducted on 15.06.2012 from my balance, but neither calls nor sms were started. On enquiry through 121 i got to know that my services expeired on 13th June 2012. on 17th june i got my services after paying Rs. 42/- both sms and calls were again started. On 18th again my services have been discontinued. I m getting message that sms barred on this number. I want to know that 1. if the services/validity was expiered on 13th June how Airtel deducted Rs 55/ from my balance through *555#, while lot of amount was balance in my earlier sms pack. 2. why the sms services were not started even after charging Rs. 55/- on 15.06.2012. 3. even after getting the services/validity extended after paying Rs 42/- and Airtel having deducted tha sms Pack amount twice my sms has been barred on 18.06.2012. No services are available on date. Should we think that either airtel has started cheating the customers in this way or not capable enough to manage the business. You cusatomer care had been very very unproffesional, that lady simply cut the phone without listening to the problem. Should I go to the consumer court and the court ask u the full details of my complaint. please take corrective action or as a greived customer I will haver to decide 1. to terminate all my families connections of airtel and 2. to approach consumer court for this cheating of airtel . I hope u will expedite. My mexy mail shall be to ur CMD if not redressed.

                I have Airtel DTH Connection since long time but I have faced very bad experiance from one of the Best DTH i.e Airtel. On 15th June 2012 , I have recharged my Airtel DTH account with 310 Rs. but Company has not given me Bonus 15 Rs.

                As per discussion with them, My Account is suspended but I have seen that My All Channels are working fine.

                AIrtel is doing advertisement for Bonus on early Recharge but they are not giving Bonus on early recharge.

                  I have not subscribed, but still every now and then cricket sms are
                  sent to my mobile. And also Rs. 1 is being deducted from 02.06.2012.
                  Kindly unsubscribe the VAS for cricket and revert the amount.
                  Also cancel all the VAS, I wish to be in Don't Disturb Mode.

                  My mobile number is[protected]. I'm receiving around 30 to 40 annoying SMS from AT-SYCRKT everyday. This is really irritating when i have not subscribed to this service. Please stop sending such messages immediately.

                    User number [protected] ,this is the complaint about airtel unattended bad services of broadband .
                    I logged on my broadbond not working complaint on 10th april 2012 for which technician was sent on 11th april who stole an electronic gadget from my home, for which i logged on complaint of theft on 11th april 2012 ,and i kept calling for services for broadband and theft recovery till 18th april 2012 from a non toll free number nearly 37 times in 6 days for which i did not got any response ,more over i lastly called on 18th april to fix up internet in 24 hours or terminate my services , but after 2 months airtel people are calling for the bill till the date 18th June . I am mentally humiliated i had good experience and respect for airtel as i was its user from past 5-6 years . But now would recommend people not to use its services , would hope to see local consumer authority for the misguidance and theft caused by airtel on me.

                      I am having two airtel prepaid connections, [protected] & [protected] respectively. The call tariff on both of these numbers was 1.2 paise per second On 27th march, 2012 my plan changed to 60 paise per second itself on both the numbers. I talked to customer care number of times but never never got convinced. Most of the times the call was disconnect from their side. Three times I have applied for portability, in turn I always receive a call from airtel, convincing me that the plan of 1.2 paise will be activated within 72 hours. Even I received a confirmation message of the same. But till now problem persists.
                      On 16th June 2012 customer care people told me that by recharge of Rs. 5 my plan will change to 1.2 paise per second, I got the recharge done. After it the tariff changed to 2 paise per second to local mobile and 2.5 paise per second to STD mobile, which is again high.
                      I am highly unconvinced from the services of airtel.

                        I activated 2g data plan for Rs.98 on 23rd April and rep didn’t inform about pro rata basis billing if the plan is activated in between billing cycle. I had called 2 times to confirm if I still get 1 gb data usage after activating and every rep kept informing that its 1gb usage. Later getting bill I realized that Airtel has given free usage data on pro rata basis and charged me for balance data usage. This is mistake from your end .When activating service it’s Airtel’s responsibility to inform us about prorate discount and billing as well.Since no one informed me about it, I will not agree with charge. After interacting with at least 10 reps and 2 nodal officers I got waver of 500rs.But I am not ready to pay the rest 500rs which has been charged for data usage on pro rata basis(which is not my mistake).I am ready to pay other charges except data usage charge as it happened by Airtel’s phone reps negligence.
                        After few days got call from Airtel rep stating all he can do is wave off rs 500 which was already offered by Nodal.He later said he will get back to me and he replied stating same(max 500rs)no use.They want me to pay rs1000 for 200mb data usage(used 200 mb from 23rd to 26th April)its their reps mistake.Why should I pay.
                        Airtel has dropped its standards.Not to forget the prices are increasing day by day for the services.

                        Yes my issue was addressed and resolved.The question is after how many days and after how many phone calls was it resolved?
                        Airtel have grown to global level and has complete range of products and services but to get a small issue resolved I literally have to fight with you all.
                        After 1 months of continuous fight with all you contact center people it was never resolved.But when I wrote the issue to UTV fight back program the issue was immediately addressed.Shameless management people from airtel.You have to hear from press people to get small issue resolved.Cant you resolve it when you guys hear it from me directly.

                          Bought 2 new connections from IP Infocomm vide receipt number 28685- was promised that the post paid connections will become live in 24 hours - it has been 4 days and no word from the service provider- my only regret is that I trusted that AIRTEL would have some sort of decorum/ code of ethics in place - none exist - Airtel us a company represented by nincompoops- Top to the bottom.

                          I can write a 10 page story of what I have undergone in the last 3 days - but that is not going to change the situation on the ground.

                          My only advice is to all consumers - Rs. 600 that I paid for getting the two connection does not matter - I gave my passport copy as address and verification doc, the stress and abuse I got from Airtel representatives - Invaluable !!!

                          Please avoid the following or associated company - IP Infocomm - all telemarketing calls from the so called Airtel Telemarketeers... these are cheap BPO's trying to make a fast buck... with little care about the customer- Airtel is least bothered.

                          Avoid the following numbers - [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected],[protected] and atleast 20 more...

                          I received atleast 20 calls on friday for verification and confirmation of my home address - despite my explaining to each and every who called from Airtel - that the address on my passport is correct - the address given on the application form is correct ... instead of a person coming fro verification- I would end up receiving a call again.

                          They want payment in cash and if you ask for cancelling the order - the AIRTEL POLICY is that my 600 rupees will come back to me after 45 days and to get them I will have to travel 96 kms *2 = 192 kms - going and coming- twice - once to give the application for refund from Greater Noida to Noida and then to collect my refund. KUDOS AIRTEL.

                          The call center compliant - will get me a response in 7 days - the Nodal office will take 45 days to respond- "NOT SOLVE MY COMPLIANT" - 45 days to respond.

                          I guess someone needs to understand that all I asked for was a mobile connection. All docs submitted and payment made in cash- however what I could clearly hear was people laughing at the other end of the call at my pligght.

                          AIRTEL the 100% perfect company. CHEERS !!!

                          One of the worst customer service providers are AIRTEL there have so ad's about how big they business is expanding but when it comes to serving customers there are the worst. Worst are the people who work for the company have no answers to queries and not ready to take any Ownership just believe in passing the blame very conveniently. I had taken a new connection and was told that it would be activated within 4 hours by the dealer since it was friday i gave it some time but when it was not done on saturday i had called the company and was told by the associate that it takes 24 working hours and since that time is not yet passed to wait untill that time frame.

                          Having waited for 24 working hours as of monday and no phone being activated, i called up customer care again and was told to wait before a complaint could be raised. Pathetic service being driven away rather then taking the blame and working on a resolution. Since i was leaving on a vacation i wanted the phone activated to carry it along with me. Called again and raised the complain was told that it would resolved with 48 working hours, still thought since i would be travellling when i actually arrive the phone would be activated by then. Called customer care again and asked for a supervisor who was fit for nothing Ms Sunitha rani, she spoke worse then the house keeping people that work at my office. No responsibilty no ownership nothing typical goverment working indian service. All that she asked me to do was wait untill the service failure would be resolved. She promised me a call back from her supervisor its been 15 days now and am still waiting.
                          The phone got finally activated on the last day of my return to hyderabad, i was left without a phone for my entire stay, i had to wait in queues to make a call to my loved ones back home. Not only was taking the new connection purpose failed, on top of it i was made huge promises from people who could not fulfill them. All that the airtel people have is huge attitude and nothing else. If this was nt india there would be paying millions in lawsuits filed against them. Yesterday adding more spice to the entire saga is when another rep calls up and states that the phone was activated the very next day after the documents were submitted, wonder then why am making this complaint and taking this matter further. Again Kiran had no answers just kept saying sorry and promised a call back from the supervisor all empty promises from people who are fit for nothing getting paid just like that.
                          I am a customer of Airtel since last four years. I have changed my job and moved to a new location but I was using the same mobile no. After setteling down in the city I went to Airtel asking them to give me a post paid local sim. I was shocked to see that they said SIM can not be given to me as I do not have a permanent local address. I belong to punjab and I can not get a post paid SIM in UP. The way things have been briefed to me was shocking and I wonder how this type of company becomes the biggest in industry.
                          I purchased a new connection from Apco (Mr. Dinesh [protected]), and given all my details like ration card and PAN card. I was given a new number after 2 days [protected] and the number was activated after 3 days. I used the service for 5 days and after that outgoing was deactivated and later both the incoming and out going was stopped. I had made several attempt to contact Airtel office 121 they are not giving satisfactory reply. Later on Friday 31/07/2009 I went to Airtel office Peninsula Park where I again submitted my ID proof like PAN Card and Ratio Card Zerox to Ms Shweta. They confirmed that within 48 Hours the services will start. Till now my number is inactive what should I do. Please help me.

                          I Have visited the Airtel office thrice -
                          Day one 30/07/2009 I was told to fill the form again and bring zerox and photo.
                          Day two 31/07/2009 I filled the form and give the zerox copy to Shweta.
                          Day Three 03/08/2009 I went to airtel office and waited for 1 and half hour and left as nobody were ready to attend me.

                          I Want to say that Airtel service is horrible and nobody should opt for such horrible service. Even the 121 service on Airtel you are made to call 10 ~ 15times.

                            Referring your generated bill no.[protected] ,bill date-06/06/12. It was found that call duration for every calls is showing 2 second more then what i have saved all the call details in my phone.

                            I request to resolve the issue and acknowledge.

                                  I m customer of airtel using airetl # [protected] , i have blocked the sim on 15/06/2012, however someone reissue the sim and having the details of my call for prepaid calls. How it can be possible, it means someone is in you company giving the details. I want number to be blocked on urgent basis and no fiurther record to be given to anyone.

                                  Its your comapny duties to maintain the secreacy of customer.

                                  I need urgent attention on my compliant and strict action to be taken against the employee

                                      Please note it is more than a month that I bought internet 3g datacard connection but still am not able to connect to internet.

                                      It is Linux OS and the airtel applet says that is has connected but the browser says page load error and address not found.

                                      I have not browsed even a single page on my Desktop even after a month.

                                      Airtel customer service hung up on me more than once.

                                      Can anybody from airtel call me after 9 pm so that I am at home and resolve this issue.

                                        I have just shifted to Durgapur from Kolkata alongwith my Airtel Digital TV and it re-installed two months ago after paying of re-installation charge of Rs. 200/-. but after a few days signal of my DTH tripped or bad signal. I contacted with customer care with my problem which was just arrived after 10 days of re-installation. But they replied that the service engineer will visit and have to pay Rs. 100/- as a visiting charge. I urged to solve my problem free of cost because of the re-installation was not done properly, but they do not accept my complains. they asked that complain be launched only the condition when I accept to pay Rs. 100/- for visiting. the irregularity is continue in my DTH. I want to not pay again and again Rs. 100/- tip, where as the bad signal starts only in 10 days before re-installation.
