I bought a Airtel Postpaid Connection on April 27th, But still Sim haven't got activated!! Even i compliant to the superior Person Airtel.. Non of the Airtel Guys are not bothered of there customer... and the sim no and mobile no :
[protected] H4-WD,[protected] there is no proper response from Bharti Airtel.Its a very bad and pathetic service!!This the details of Person from airtel sold the sim
Name: Soubha and her no's [protected]/[protected], and she gave me other guy called Mahesh And his no [protected] Both of them not picking my calls no replay for my messages do take actions against those two Airtel executives people who is fooling your airtel customer trusting your company!! in bangalore!! i dont' how many of them are fooled by these Airtel executives...

AirTel — Airtel Worst Customer Service

Dear Friends,

I am posting this as due to AIRTEL worst customer service. Here is my case…

I have filled the enrollment form on 2nd Feb , 2011 for AIRTEL BROADBAND CONNECTION through customer care executive – Mr Pramod , made a cash deposit of Rs.500/-( which as per the normal process would be adjusted through first bill).

Mr.Pramod committed that Airtel Broadband connection will be installed on 3rd Feb 2011 positively by evening . On 3rd Feb 2011 received a call from Mr.DIGVIJAY (customer care executive) that there are some technical up gradations, so will not be able to install it on 3rd Feb 2011 and committed that it would be installed on 4th Feb 2011. I though it’s a reasonable thing to wait for 4th Feb 2011.

On 4th Feb 2011 , called up at AIRTEL Customer service provided them my CEF number , they advised that the details yet not updated I there system. Again called up Mr.Pramod for the same he advised that AIRTEL engineers are on the way for installation , waited for next 1.5 hr – 2 hrs but no one came at my place. Then again called up Mr.DIGVIJAY, when I gave him a reference of a call that he made to me on 3rd Feb 2011 informing about the reason that he gave me related to technical up gradation , on this he completely refused that he hasn’t made any call to me and was very rude talking to me on phone. He then gave me another reason that my connection number has not yet come as due to some Bar code problem.

I still don’t understand what the hell has happened to AIRTEL customer sevice. A bunch of frauds sitting at a customer care department who blames customer that he is telling lie.
Friends think twice before going for any AIRTEL service.

AirTel — Worst Customer Customer Service

This is regarding my issue unable to receive some of incomming calls
sometimes the caller is receiving message either the number does not
exit or the number is not reachable, m facing this issue since last
month or may b more than that once one of my friend complained me that
he was not able to call me at that time i came to know that their was
some issue immediately I logged a complaint regarding the same at
Airtel customer care at 198, they told me that they will escalate the
issue to the concern Dept & will get back to me, after I got a call
from Airtel saying that just switch off & switch on my handset they
have reset my network settings, & will now get all the calls without
any issues.
after 2 days the same issue I faced i again called customer care &
launched the complaint now the representative told me that their might
b some problem with ur handset or with ur sim check changing ur
handset & go to the Airtel outlet & get ur sim checked ,firstly i
changed my handset but the issue was still their so I decided to go to
Airtel outlet yesterday 3rd March 2011 evening around 7 pm I went to
T-nagar Chennai Airtel Outlet ,they guided me to the Postpaid
representative ,I told him m facing the issue about incoming calls he
told me call the customer care no they will assist u ,i told him take
my complaint no u will get my complaint history as the representatine
told me the seme to do after visiting the outlet, after my request of
3-4 times he asked my cell no and started to search the same on his PC
& he replied that their is a TAT of 30 days to resolve ur complaint so
go from here Airtel will call u regarding the same & he was not
listening to me at all so I stepped out from the outlet & called the
Airtel customer care & told them what all happened the representative
told me we will take the complaint & mean while u go to some other
Airtel Outlet they will help u out, I told him i will not go to any
outlet again to get my self Insulted.
While I was getting the connection the representative came 2-3 times
to my home for getting me the connection & at the time of error no one
is helping me out.

So is this the way Airtel handels customer calls.
Even it is almost 3-4 days since i have send this mail to airtel but they have not a single time will to answer the complaint .....i my bill is overdue for 1 day also 100 times they will call but not for the customer's help.....................

AirTel — Worst customer service.

Hi all,
This to compliant that airtel in maharashtra have poor service. I am from tamilnadu there also i'm using airtel, but here when i reach customer care they are not even responding in english. I don't know hindhi or marathi. how to surveys with airtel network i don't know...

Please find the attached Bill for the current month & last bill payment receipt.

Though complete bill payment was done it is showing only 128/- are paid.

& Late payment fee is charged to the current bill.

Please clarify.

    I had an airtel lan line connection and have asked the company to close my connection in the month of march. To make sure they don't irritate me with the billing dates I have maintained email communication . However the company is so bad at closure of connections that I have to finally drop a complaint. I have experienced this even in the past when the connection was bought in delhi. Below is the email communication .

    I have requested them to stop calling me for payment of bills when the connection has been closed. But they wouldnt stop calling me or sending bills.

      I purchased a pre paid sim card(mobile number [protected]) on 10th may2012 from The Mobile Store, munshipullia, lucknow. I used it til 08may2012
      morning. Suddenly the sim card stopped working and on calling it showed not registered on network.On enquiry to customer care they told that there is no information about this SIM except that it is not connected to switch. On enquiry to Airtel office no body is clearly telling why sim is blocked.someone is aying that my document were not sent by dealer though I deposited my passport photocopy and photograph at the time of activation. Airtel C.R.E is saying that I missed the verification call that is why my sim is blocked.I might have missed some call when it was on odd timing as I might be driving or taking bath at that time. Though once I had received one call in which they confirmed my address and my father's name.
      Now they are again saying to submit all the documents to give duplicate SIM.I would be losing my Rs421 balance and 740MB 3G internet which was balanced at the time of deactivation.
      Kindly help me so that I can get again same number and I may not lose my balance money.

          Last week, I have applied for Airtel Broadband connection and the airtel exeuctive contacted and took 501 rupees along with documentation. He promised that connection will be given in 48 hours. It's been 8 days now and nothing happened. Today I called customer care and came to know the they are not giving connection to me and didn't quote any justification. Process is total rediculous.

          Moreover they haven't informed me about the status. I ended up calling many airtel people and none of them given proper response.

          Airtel — Refusal to give information

          I called 121 thrice asking for details.
          The first time i'm given wrong information.
          The second time i get hung up on.
          The third time the supervisor comes on line and says he cannot give out information.


          I have a prepaid and all i need to do is get it converted to a postpaid but they just dont care b'coz i guess they have too many customers and they dont care about their corporate customers.

            Airtel is charging Rs.3/- per day as renewal for NOVOSOL_Cricket Daily subscription service from my balance without my consent,
            I had already requested the customer care of airtel by my mail dated 04.06.2012,05.06.2012 & today on 08.06.2012 but problem is not solved as yet.
            I want that it should be stopped immediately as I do not require this service.
            Kindly stop renewal of daily subscription immediately.

            I much more anoid with some of activity held by Air tel service.
            Like charges deduction in behalf of jokes, ring tone etc etc.
            Even we have appeal for DND activation.
            Many verbal complain we have putted, but no any satisfactory action done.
            We have not done or not interested in such type of jokes & ring tone selection activity and its all.
            When i was choose these network i was very happy but not so far.
            When i complain raise your representative says all time it is made by you. i require only telephonic & sms facility in my phone.
            i requested to please close such type of chip activity and treat it as a last request to your company.
            Other wise I feel much more guilty to discard my connection with Air tel communication.
            Please look after the matter & do needful for the same.

                It is ridiculous that my prepaid mobile number was suspended WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE to me. Until yesterday (07-Jun-12) morning my airtel number was active and receiving messages. I am in Singapore using this number in roaming. I am a frequent flyer and use this airtel number whenever I am in India (Chennai). While in Singapore, I use this for incoming messages from India.
                When I ask about this to the customer care, they say that this number was deactivated as there were no usage for past months or no recharge for Rs.200 for last 6 months. I took this number 4 months ago only and I recharged for 200 when I took the number.
                When a number can be deactivated, why can it be activated again?
                This is really very annoying. Atleast an SMS or email communication should have been made prior to deactivation.
                I received airtel promotional messages yesterday morning also in the same number and evening the number is gone. I had received lots of romotional
                broadcasting emails from airtel in the past. When you send those emails, why can't you send an email mentioning the deactivation notes?
                Is this what you say customer care? This is real stupid process.
                Don't you think that receiving an SMS doesn't mean that the number is in use?
                Customer care officer asks me to walk in to a nearest retailer to get a new number; non-sense. Just because you deactivated my number with no prior notice, you want me to walk to a retailer for a new sim card huh?
                The worst ever network providers are all there in India. Grab money wherever possible and leave customers in hell.

                  We had one account with Airtel Limited. Relationship No. of this account is[protected]Mobile Nos. [protected], [protected], [protected]). We had ported this account to Vodafone in October 2011. Now International Roaming Security refund of this account is Rs. 7079.69. We visited Airtel 3B2, Mohali Office and Phase 2, Mohali office several times. They assured us that refund will be received within 60 days and they are giving no response. And by now over 200 days have passed, but no refund has been received till date.

                    Hi ,

                    My name is Gaurav Kumar and I have an Airtel Postpaid number [protected] , On last Saturday ( 2nd June 2012 ) , I somehow lost my mobile , so I blocked my number ([protected]) using Airtel 121 service , next day was Sunday so , I went to Airtel Banargatta Road office , near to Jayadeva Hospital on Monday ( 4th June 2012 ) and took a duplicate SIM number [protected] , and they told me that this will take at max 24 hours to get activated , It was not activated till Tuesday ( 5th June 2012 ) 1:00 PM , then I called the Aritel 121 customer care , they told me that the SIM is activated from their side , if you getting the SIM registration failure message then you need to go back to the same Banargatta Road Airtel office , to check the issue , So same day I went to the office , the Airtel Guy told that there is a problem in the Handset so you need to check this SIM in some other Handset and he also told me that he doesn’t have spare handset , So I have to go outside and check if the SIM card is working in another set or not . I came back to my office and Verified with 3, 4 different Mobile Handsets but no Luck , every were its was saying SIM REGISTRATION FAULURE , So I went back to same Aitrel office with an addition Mobile Handset to show that there is a problem with the SIM not the handset . Again the Airtel Service guy told me that you need to take a new SIM because this SIM having some issue and for taking a new SIM you need to again provide all the documents like, Photograph, address Proof etc, but photograph was not there at that time with me, but they told me that they cannot help me and without a photograph they cannot issue ne a new SIM.

                    So on next day (Wednesday 6th June 2012) , again I went to the same Airtel Office with the required documents and collected the new SIM number[protected] . And again the Airtel Guy told me that SIM will be activated by end of today. But It was not activated after 24 Hours, So I gain went to the same Airtel office on Thursday 7th June 2012 , and in the office they told me that the SIM will be activated in another Half an hour , But I waited in the Airtel office of an hour but still my SIM was not activated , the Airtel Guy told me that it look like there is some issue in the system and he asked me to talk to the Manager , when I talk to the Manager She told me that she need to check internally there is some profile mismatch , and she asked he to again wait for 24 more hours . So I again talk to 121 and they told me that he has escalated this issue and this issue will be resolved in another 4 hours and the issue number is 44024728 .
                    Again Today Morning I called the Airtel 121 customer care , and they told me that everything look perfect from their side the SIM is very much active , if you are getting SIM Card Registration Failure then, you need to take a new SIM third time and today call interaction number is [protected] . As I am a technical person and I know that no one has able to pinpoint the issue, so I am sure that if I take a new SIM again then nothing will change.

                    Please help me and let me know when should I be able to get my number activated , its more than 5 days now , And still I don’t know what is happening , every time they are asking me to contact Airtel after 24 hours .

                        Dear Sir,

                        I have applied for Airtel Broadband connection last Thursday. The Airtel people promised me to arrange for the connection within a day, but I am yet to get the connection until now. It has been a week since I applied for the connection. I have already paid for the connection and the payment has been passed on[protected].

                        I have been contacting several persons regarding this issue, but they are not attending the call. When I contacted the Airtel Customer Care, they told me that the connection was not feasible in our area. Then how can you pass my cheque before you check the connection feasibility.

                        I am very UNHAPPY with your service and the way your airtel people respond to my service calls.

                        I would never choose or recommend any airtel service to any one, i feel very much CHEATED. I have been used by your executive to reach their monthly sales target, If there is no feasibility why should your executive give me false promise.

                        Airtel Broadband — Complete Cheating and Wrong information

                        Hi,

                        I am a Airtel broadband user from the past 10 months with land line number[protected]. When i took this connection i was told that airtel is providing a new plan of 256 Kbps for 699. so i made a payment of 3 months in advance to take up the connection. immediately within 3 months i got a call that if i make a 100 rs top up, i will get 512 Kbps and 100 free mins for my airtel land line. So i agreed to it.

                        2 months after that i got a mail that as a PREVILIGED CUSTOMER(Which airtel doesn't know the meaning of) my broadband speed is upgraded to 1 Mbps. I have a mail also with me. Last month i was unable to get 1 Mbps. Gave a call to call center and they gave an info that free upgradation offer is not available and backend has made a mistake.

                        This month i was getting a speed of only 256Kbps. Upon registering a compliant, someone from airtel called me saying that there is a FUL of 10 gb per month on the plan that i am using. As per the brochure given to me, it is clearly mentioned that it is an UNLIMITED plan and i hope AIRTEL understands the meaning o[censored]NLIMITED. I tried reaching nodal desk. No one picks up the call.

                        I have all sufficient documents and chain mails from airtel which clearly mentioned no where that there is FUL on the plan. It would be best for me instead of facing this mental to better go for consumer court for justification.

                          My Airtel DTH Subsciber ID is [protected].

                          My HD set top box has been replaced around twice in the past 8 months. For the first replacement i had to make a payment of 750. Luckily, for the second replacement i did not have to pay anything because it fell in the warranty period which is 3 months. The replacement set top box is not a new one. It is a second/third/fourth hand box (which we are not aware of). The second replacement was done on Feb 25th.

                          Yesterday(June 5th) the replaced set top box again stopped functioning. Today the technician came home with a second hand set top box and was demanding 750 again. When i contacted customer care they say there was no other option but to pay for the replacement. This i believe is a new way of providing value added services to customers. The customer care said we promise that this will not happen again. I don't know what kind of promise that was.

                          I did not get my set top box replaced this time. I did ask the technician to leave behind the old box and take away the one he got. I will get the connection changed today.

                            I have an airtel dth from 2011 (Customer ID- [protected]). Last week I have requested to airtel for re Installation for connection and when it did not happen after 3/4 days, I escalated the issue with your customer support team.( Escalation No[protected].

                            Day before yesterday your customer support told me that within 24 hours they will resolve the problem and made a con call with local DTH cable operator and over the telephone they promised that it will be resolved by 6th June before 9.30 AM.

                            As usual nobody turned up and called by 9.30 AM and at 10.30 AM I went out for my work.

                            At evening 4.30 PM engineer called up and told me that he is coming within 30 minutes to 1 hour. Today 7th June 12.38 PM

                            he has not yet turned up refused to pick my call even after I made several calls.

                            Please explain what is 30 minutes or 1 hour as per Airtel standard?

                            I am corporate customer of Airtel and given lot of data business to the company but looking at DTH service I am apprehensive now. The entire experience is nothing but pathetic and Insult.

                              I have a problem with the service levels of Airtel Broadband team. They are extremely incapable, they make false commitments and their technical staff which visited our place is extremely rude.

                              My Wi-fi has not been working properly since 29th May and today is the 10 day since I made the initial complaint to Airtel customer care.

                              Since then I have spent more than a total of 3 hours on phone with the Airtel customer care teams and their Nodal helpdesk teams from Delhi, wherein they have given false commitments about how soon a technical visit would be arranged to my place or how soon my problem will be resolved.

                              Each time you call their customer care or ask to speak to a supervisor or call their nodal helpdesk, you are routed to a different person. Therefore if you make calls to each of the above mentioned continuously for 3 days or more like I have, you would have spoken to 9-10 different people.

                              Add to this the different people who call you back regarding your complaint and the different tech representatives, so you have 15-16 people you have to deal with to get yourself heard.

                              The first tech representative who visited our place called us up and we fixed a time and date for the next day for his visit and he confirmed the same. He then submitted feedback to his customer care department that I, the customer was not contactable and then failed to show up the next day.

                              After my complaint, he finally showed up after 2 days and was unable to resolve our problem.

                              Another 3-4 days or followup with Airtel resulted in another technical visit by another rude tech representative, who claimed that my modem (provided by airtel barely 3 months back) was faulty and said it needed to be changed. He went to get a replacement but did not come back and refused to answer phone calls the same day.

                              When he did return the next day, he replaced my modem with an older used one. Although the internet wifi started working then, it stopped working once again a couple of hours after he left.

                              After that at times it would start working for a few minutes or an hour and then stop again.

                              This resulted in another 2 days of followup calls from my end to airtel, after which the same executive came back. Since the internet was working while he was visiting, he refused to believe that it goes off from time to time.

                              As far as he was concerned, it was working during his visit and we were lying about the internet not working throughout the day.

                              A subsequent call to the nodal desk once again yielded no result, because the nodal desk executive refused to have out problem checked out. She also refused to beleive that the internet stops working for hours together. As far as they were concerned , it was working for the few minutes while their executive was at our premises, so their responsibility ended there.

                              I dont know what to do about this pathetic service level as there are multiple points of contact within airtel and noone has any accountability.

                                  I got online recharge done, through Airtel website. However, even though the amount (rs. 444) was debited from my account the recharge was not successful. I again tried online recharge, and it was successful the second time.
                                  When contacted the customer care, they said it will be refunded in 24 hours, however there is not refund yet, Also now they have stopped responding to mails and the customer care executives don't have any answer.

                                    I am Avinash Veleshala (Mobile no: [protected]) facing a trouble with Airtel service provider and their customer care executives. Due to the network issues at my work area I have sent a message for MNP in May 2012 but later because of few unavoidable circumstances I am unable to change for other network. In the mean time I have received a call from Airtel Customer Care executive and she said that we are the privileged customers of Airtel and they don't want to lose us. So they are ready to activate an offer and the offer details are: local call cost: 30ps/sec, national call cost: 1.2 and 1.5 ps/sec and she gave me some code to activate this offer for my self. I said I am not interested with any kind of offers and she disconnected the call thanking me. But to my surprise that offer got activated on my mobile without my intervention and when I called Customer care executive he said that this is a trial offer for 30 days and you will be charged 1 Rs/day as the rental after 30 days. I asked him to de-activate it but he is saying that he don't have that permissions to deactivate and he is blaming me completely saying that they don't activate any kind of offers without customer's permission. I have called them many times and the response is the same. sometimes they are asking me to stay connected and will transfer the call to their higher officials. But again to my surprise they are disconnecting my call in a minute or two. Hence there is no kind of reply from these people and I got vexed with this kind of behaviour of Airtel Customer care executives. Request you to please help me in proceeding further.

                                    Airtel — Regular Deactivation of Services without confirmation.

                                    Dear Sir / Madam,

                                    My name is Prakash Desai, I have Airtel Postpaid Mobile connection vide Mobile No.[protected]. I have Activated Call Conference on My Mobile various times, But Call conference service is de-activated Many times by Airtel without prior confirmation. I am literally fed up by this service, I am Privileged customer of Airtel since 2001-02, but I have surrendered My Previous Airtel Mobile connection due to this third grade service. You can check my Track Record for my Previous Mobile No. viz [protected]. The same problem was faced by me with my earlier connection. I thought there is Problem with that Mobile No. and therefore I surrendered that old no. and had taken this new connection since february, 2008 assuming that there will be no trouble with this New Number. But Still there is Problem with Airtel, I think they are not at all interested in Customers Complaint or they might willfully doing this Practice of troublling the Customer.

                                    I have again recently given request for activation on Call Conference Facility on 1st of August vide reference no.[protected] and again the request for activation of said service is given on 06/08/2008 But till date the service is not activated on my Mobile.

                                    I also wish to inform you that I am Holding 4 Prepaid connection of Airtel in my Family.

                                    I hereby request you to guide me what to do in this matter or should I switch over to other Service Provider alongwith my Other Airtel Connections in Family.

                                    Please suggest.

                                      I have purchased 3G data card from Airtel on 03.06.2012. They promised me that it will give the 3G speed
                                      With 2GB data for a month in Rs 202/-. But I observed that its speed is even worst than 2G provided by other operator. Airtel being a reputed and trusted operator cheating the customer by giving false statement. Even when I m searching the network there is no such Airtel 3G network. Sir I request that my case should. Be considered sympathitically and either 3G speed should be provided or my money should be refunded
