Hi,

I'm very disappointed in the way my case has been handled.

I had asked for my services to be discontinued on Jan 30th post which your technician came home either the same day or the next (I don't remember exactly). He took the set-top box, hdmi cable, charger etc and said that I will get my cheque in 20 days or so.

When I called your center on Feb 7th I was shocked to see that my services were still active and the your customer service rep said that he'll follow this up and resolve. Today when I called back after a month, I was shocked to see that my services are still active on your system and my credit balance which was INR 7,500 when I disconnected my services is now at INR 6700.

I'm furious now and the delay in getting my own money back has been annoying. I spoke to your senior supervisor today Mr Puhin Pal and he said he'll speak to his team and get back to me in 2 hours. I asked him for his supervisor or higher up and he said they were busy with other errands and said he'll ask them to call me back. I insisted that I have their name to which he said that he cannot give out their name. How can that be a policy where they cannot give out their supervisors name when he is going to call me anyways in 2 hours? Is this true? Can they not give the customer their names?

I feel that your company is just shying away from responsibility and am sorry to say that I will never go back to Airtel in the rest of my living life.

I will give you an opportunity to resolve my case and if I don't hear back from you'll I'll go to the consumer guidance society and also sue you for damages and mental harassment. My contact information is below.

It's been 2 months now and I've still not heard from Airtel reps or supervisors and no one is talking about refunding my money. I need my money with damages paid for for all the agony and frustration and long hours on phones and MORE.....

    Dear concern,
    Myself Dr.rumit patel, I am customer of airtel dth, currently I was upgrade my normal dth with HD dth from airtel service dep. They committed to give me 10HD channel free for 15 days. After installation any HD channel was not display hence I was call them and they was demanded 24hr for activation.
    Although after 24hr my HD channels are not activated and when I call them those people disconnect my phone after listening complains. I was calling them already 15 to 20 times.
    I was purchased from credit card and Miss Anupama Mishra was involving as a airtel dth sale executive.

      Airtel activated VAS (cricket service) on my mobile number [protected]
      Airtel has activated this without my permission or confirmation and is stealing my money every day since[protected]
      I never check sms in this particular number and so it took time for me to know that Airtel is stealing every day.
      Today[protected] i called customer care to lodge the complaint.
      A lady picked up the call and said she will cancel the service and refund the money to me. i asked why this happened and she was not able to provide an proper answer. she said i will transfer the call to higher official and was put on hold for long time. there was no one to answer me from the other side.
      after this i made a call again from my other phone and this time the same thing happened and for a change the person told me that he will refund only one rupee.
      This is pure cheating by Airtel.
      Airtel do you think i am a fool. to receive one rupee why should i spend more than that. (calling customer care is a charged call)
      Approximately i have spent about rs 5 calling customer care (adding the call from both of my phones)
      So i demand here 14rs +5rs=19rs + a sorry saying such cheating will not happen in future.
      Luckily i have recorded the call made to customer care.
      SO i will fight until i get justice.
      Will wait and see what compensation Airtel is going to provide for the tension caused by them to me.
      19 rs seems to be a smaller amount. but all i want is justice and show the truth to the world

      Bharti Airtel — Confirmation without consent

      Bharti airtel has activated the mobile bazaar application to my account without my consent. This is the second time in less than two months that they have activated some application or the other on my account without my knowledge or consent, and deducing money from my account on daily basis even now. They are also repeatedly disturbing me by their unwanted advirtisments to my number via calls and SMS, despite my activation of 'do not disturb' option by their own customer care executive two months back.
      Kindly let me know, how to submit an official complaint against such repeated annoyance to the regulating authority. Along-with that kindly let me know, how to discontinue this application and get my money back into the account.

      Airtel — VAS services activation without my permission

      Dear Sir/Madam,
      I have 2 Airtel Freinds card, on last saturday i register a complaint for unwanted VAS activation on No [protected]. now same is happening about my other sim [protected]. I called customer care before 3days they deactivated ACTIVE Vas without any refund but from Yestarday my daily deduction is Started once again. So I request you to make Permanent solution of my problem.

      Airtel — activation of vas services without confirmation

      On my mobile, my service provider which is airtel activates unwanted vas services without my confirmation. When i contact them upto their appellate authority they didn't reply any of my mail.
      I informed Airtel presence that i made a post here and i got the ready made reply from them.
      Mr.Rakesh Kumar i have already mentioned my mobile number in my first post. what else do you need to solve a problem caused by Airtel.

      This is a natural tendency of Airtel. They are the worst money suckers in the telecom networks. Port to Vodafone. Vodafone is costly but service is excellent.
      They assured to deactivate the VAS and return the amount with in 1 hour. but about 1 day has passed still no one has provided a solution.
      Again i got a reply from Mr.Rakesh Kumar. that too was a ready made mail.
      Airtel we expect a tailor made solution and no one wants your ready made emails. it will only increase the anger of customer.
      Try to solve my problem Airtel.

      Till date they have not refunded me nor they have replied here with proper solution.
      They are afraid to reply in this public forum i guess.
      Today again they activated cricket service.
      So i sent the below email to them.

      "Again you activated cricket service today on 31-mar-2012 (earlier you activated on 16-mar-2012)

      Approximately i have lost RS 20 as on today (including the charged calls made to customer care)

      The problem is caused by you so take some responsibility and pay me immediately.

      Credit me immediately on my number [protected]

      If my complaint is not solved today i am planing to take this issue to TRAI and consumer court.

      I have recorded the call made to customer care which will be the main evidence in this case.

      So contact me immediately on my other number [protected]

      I also want you to send me a print of my balance history starting from 1-march-2012 to my email so that i can exactly know how much you have stolen from me.

      Still no reply from Airtel
      Mr.Rakesh Ranga do not test my patience.
      VAS is still active. my problem has not been resolved
      As on today you have to refund me Rs 25.
      From now on i will be sending 1 email every 24 hours until you solve the problem.
      I will not leave you airtel with out a sorry email showing my balance history and additional compensation
      Today Nitu karwal from Airtel made a call from the number [protected] and provided only Rs 20. Do you thing i am a fool. i have lost about Rs5 just by calling customer care alone. i have lost more. where is the additional compensation for the mistake and trouble caused by you. Your representative has spoken to my sister today. i want you to speak to me on the number [protected]. will take to consumer court if you don't do justice for me. send the stolen balance information immediately to my below email

      I think consumer court is the only solution for this problem. You have not even refunded the stolen money fully.
      I demand additional money paid by you as compensation for stealing and causing tension to me.
      spoke 2 Mr.Krishna from airtel and found tat airtel needs 2 pay me 46 more rupees. it i am not alert, airtel would have refunded only rs 20
      People please be alert and do not believe Airtel or any telecom operators.
      Too much loop holes in India.
      If TRAI thinks it can take severe action to solve issues like that. (even 2 times confirmation via sms can stop them stealing)
      Poor rules by TRAI. i think rules are made with loop holes to help the cheating telecom companies

        After applying for Airtel al-a-Carte pack I found I'd landed in most difficult bandwidth. Despite my submission of application for the same they intentionally didn't change my account from ULTRA PACK to a-la-carte. This intentional misdeed of theirs resulted in squeezing out of all the amount from my account. within 12 days my account was suspended. This was not real problem. problem started when i contacted them. Their executive one after other came with different excuses. One of them assured me for refund within four hours another came with ridiculous sounding rebuttal to his partner that they can't refund. Call after call they keep on passing the bucks and kept on harassing me sometimes asking me to forward the mailing conversation I'd had with them. i did that. But nothing happened. They just seem to remember three phrases " we are sorry for inconvenience", "what's your good name", "we will surely help you". The way they harassed me I can just imagine how much they would be harassing relatively lesser equipped rural brothers and sisters of ours. this experience of mine with Airtel is so bad that I am compelled to post, "if you plan to purchase DTH don't consider Airtel".

        Dear Sir / Madam

        My name is Suresh Joseph. I had been using BSNL prepaid connection, my number being[protected]. I had by portability moved from BSNL prepaid to Airtel Prepaid. My id details and ration card details had been given to the shop. On the bases of the need proofs I had been given Airtel sim with above-stated number during the first week of November 2012. I was told that after the BSNL goes of from your cell, then I should put the Airtel prepaid sim. So on 8th Nov, I changed my sim to Airtel.

        I had been using the Airtel Prepaid sim from Nov 9 - to 29th of November 2012.

        On 29th of November 2012, suddenly incoming calls were barred and with a day or two outgoing were also barred. When I had gone to Airtel showroom at Abmattur and called on the prepaid hotline, I was told that, I haven't submitted my address proof and photo. I was told that number has been totally cancelled.

        I would like to ask you Sir / Madam will you simply give give portability to a BSNL number unless you have received valid documents of address proof and photo. Please do not think that your customers are fools and that you can take them for a ride.

        In December, I went to your main office at near the BEACH Railway Station and gave them the sim card and I was told by your staff that the sim card that was offered by you and the[protected] is mismatch. I never got any good response from your Office.

        On 9th December, I was given a new pre-paid sim card from your Ambattur showroom and was by Mr. Shiva told that the Airtel people have to recreate my number.

        In the meantime, I kept visiting the the Airtel showroom and spoke many a time on pre-paid hotline. Even though complaints after complaints had been taken down, until this day 14 January 2013, the number stands cancelled.

        The mistake I committed was that I made a portability from BSNL to Airtel thinking that Airtel will give a good service. They are worser than BSNL.

        Second Compalint.

        I had take a postpaid Airtel Connection number being[protected]. I was told that per month it will be Rs 349/- per month. Even after sparingly using it, the amount came more than Rs 800/-. After paying the dues on 9th December 2012, I had given it in writing that my number should be changed to prepaid. The request had been given at the Airtel Showroom at Ambattur.

        I had given my address proof and passport size photo for the number to be changed from postpaid to prepaid. I had filled up the application form for making into prepiad. I was told by Mr. Sharavan, one of the staff that it will be done in two days time. However, even after repeated requests, even this month also, I received the postpaid pill for Rs. 393.82

        Its is heart rending to state that a contact agreement that was done between
        Anboli & airtel for Internet Lease line in December 2012 has not been honored
        till date by airtel.

        A cheque for Rs. 2, 02, 248/- (CSB No.507941 Dt.21/12/12) was issued to
        Airtel and we were hopeful of the implementation in 4-6 week time. Mr.
        Rajkumar, Assistant Manger, Airtel, Pondy was reminded of it more that 15
        times. The condition remain status quo after the erection of the tower In June.
        We are sorry to state that the performance in delayed in whole ten month as
        even after elapse of pressure that airtel will not comply with the contract.
        Our deposit in kept ideal in Airtel.
        Hence we request that out deposit amount be refunded along with interest.

          That I use to sale mobile recharge cards as well as E-recharge too. A massage came to my mobile from the mobile no. [protected] that “RETAILER BEEN GIFTED TALKTIME WORTH RS 5,555.00 ON YOUR BEHALF AMOUNT PAY TO CAMPANY 121 IS RS 5,555.00” at 10:25:24 am. I thought that it was a company’s call, therefore I started to proceed step by step to get the money by paying about Rs 6000.00 as per his directions to different mobile numbers as listed below to get increased gifted amount of Rs 15555.00.When the gifted amount did not come to my mobile then I came to know that I have been cheated by the cyber criminals.

            sir, my father had given my airtel card for conversion from prepaid to pospaid on 26/3/2012. But fortunately on the next day my father's visa came of Abu Dhabi so they went on 28/3/2012 so we have call the representative of airtel who had convinced us to stop the conversion on 27/3/12.now they had given 72 hours for conversion and still 72 hours are not finished. the airtel representative who had convinced us to change sim from prepaid to postpaid , now she is saying that it causes us penalty and our commission we will not get and saying whatever you can do you are free, i have no fear. the representative name is ms/mrs namrata. her mobile number is [protected]. We are not getting proper response from our nearest airtel store also. Their all staff are misbehaving with us .. my father's number is [protected].. please give us justice and take appropriate action against them on ms/mrs namrata.. i am living in Baroda-gujarat.

            Airtel Mobile — Misbehaviour of their representative

            I was used the airtel mobile previously and logged the request to close my connection But they did'nt Now after 3 months they generated the bills and ask me to pay the same. But i m not interested to pay them. Today one lady speak with oakwords. Kindly do the needful

            Hello Sir,
            This is in regard to misbehaviour of one of the representative in Airtel customer relationship shop at Kormangala near Maharaja hotel. The name of the person is Aziz as he told to me he was screaming at me("Go and Compalin") when i told that you didn't gave sufficient information regarding Mobile Number Portability(MNP) .

            Please take a strict action against him as it leaves a bad impression infront of the customer.

            I was normal but after sometime giving wrong information . I told him that i will complain about it than he started screaming at me.
            Throw airtel.
            We don't want to convert from prepaid to postpaid as you have written here.. we have to just stop the conversion temporarily. as soon as my father will come after 2 months they will inform Airtel to convert it into postpaid. we just want to stop the conversion quickly. because for 2 or 2 and half months my father's airtel number [protected] will remain dead. we will make 1 or 2 call so that SIM doesn't expires. though you have given good facilities but we would have to pay the bill unnecessarily if postpaid SIM starts because the SIM will be of no major use till 2 months.. so i request airtel to stop the conversion as i have mentioned earlier to all the Airtel representatives, they are not listening to me and just saying rubbish for their 1000/- rs commission.. so please stop conversion temporarily, as soon as my father will come after 2 months from Abu Dhabi we will surely inform Airtel to convert it to postpaid.. And our Airtel number is [protected] not [protected]. This [protected] airtel number is of that lady of your company who had misbehaved with us.

              Sir, I often call to airtel care but I never got satisfactory reply. I think airtel care officers are not bothered to help customers. They are just enjoying at care centre. My findings through conversation with airtel care are that airtel care executives are lazy, stupid, non cooperative, and having lack of proper information. I appreciate airtel for its service and rents but I really want to abuse airtel care executives. Think over it that airtel service is good but people are not getting proper information from call centre, then what is use of good service if customer's can not use it properly.. I have decided that I will report the matter to airtel HIGHER AUTHORITIES if the same is going on. AIRTEL is not paying them for non cooperation with customer's.And they should know it all payments are adjusted through customers.U should know it why I m frustrated on care centre because I had pUrchased a coupon from karan nagar and i have rub it but unfortunately 2 digits got missing i called airtel care two times for airtel help , but no one has cooperative tongue. I would like to tell u bullsheet replies and lame excuses o[censored]r care executives.

                I am a proud owner of your airteldth, But today I am totally dissatisfied with this company, Because the cheating done with me



                I want to bring this incident to your attention










                I am a customer of airtel DTH

                I recharged airtel DTH on 05.04.2011 with amount of Rs. 1800 which is Full Year Recharge as per instruction given by their Call center executive



                Then there is offer we get 2 month free subscription if we recharge for whole year





                But now today they are claimming , my balance is going to Nil



                When we asked for free months offer as per their scheme



                They told me ,"It is not given to you because 1st reason they give - your payment required Rs.2100 but you recharge Rs.1800, But when I asked to check records , this amount is confirmed by your executive. Now they check & said you are right sir , your amount is Rs. 1750 for 1 year & You add Rs.1800



                But we cannot add free month subscription to you , Because


                Now the 2nd Reason they are giving,"Sir, you have never intimate us for that you have recharge for Full Year. So we cannot give you free Offer"





                When I am confirming them that This premium & after every thing done by Your Teleexecutive , & my Calls after recharge is there



                & also there must be some system in company when they himself see full year recharge , himself add free offer.



                But executive say we cant do & when I asked to check data




                Now they are saying we are not able to See Fy 2011 Data. But able to see data of fy 2010





                Sir :- This is clear cut cheating case of customer money

                  i want to complain about airtel service provider regarding network.i am using airtel prepaid connection from 3 years,now from December 2011,i just shifted my room in wadgaonsheri Pune,here i face that network issues,i have so approx. 10 times call to airtel customer care service ,every-time they replied that your problem have been solved,we check that area and your problem has solved,but when i check they not solved my problem,after frustrated this issues ,i plan to portable airtel to vodaphone then i request to airtel that do my portablity request accept,they reject my portability request and said me that in two days we resolved your problem,but there is no solution
                  i want to resolve this problem or i want to case to airtel service provider,

                    Mobile Airtel internet service is a money cheating service.Taking the money from the account without any intimation and also showing false internet usage in the MBs and for that they are giving some stupid explanation by them.Some of the Customer care units giving the correct answer about so that money has taken unnecessarily and we will connect you to high authorities and they will retrieve the money.But they are giving some stupid explanations.Whole people of the country is robbed by Big companies with some false benefits and false hopes.For some 50s rupee that individual will not go to court and he can't fight against big company.The Government have to check this out.Drops of water will make ocean and one day will sink the whole subcontinent.

                    AirTel — Airtel Cheating the Customer Money

                    Airtel cheating the customer money in the name o[censored]nlimited broadband. They are selling in the name o[censored]nlimited but they are reducing the speed after some time.
                    This is a natural tendency of Airtel. They are the worst money suckers in the telecom networks. Port to Vodafone. Vodafone is costly but service is excellent.

                      I have bought a duplicate sim in Hosur and a new airtel sim at other shop in hosur itself!.But none of it has been activated!

                      They are repeatedly saying "server down".Is this how an reputed company works?

                      Try to resolve the issue!

                      And if possible please give any Other regional officer mobile number instead of giving the 121 or 198.

                      Because they are taking complaints and repeating the same dialouge once again and again.

                        it is me diwakar Shukla, a combatant member of Indian Air Force and presently posted in New Delhi. i'm residing in Rajnagar II of Palam colony near Baba ramdev mandir. for smooth communication i'm using Airtel GSM since July 2011 and i was satisfied with that but since last Thursday on 22 march 2012 i'm facing nil network problem inside my home which is hampering my communication from my home as well as office. i lodged complaint vide complaint no. COUTL [protected] dated 23 March 2012 in Airtel costumer care and 42811653 dated 26 Mar 2012 in Airtel Nodal Office but they did not given any satisfactory solution till today.

                        In view of the above it is my humble request to rectify my matter from Airtel for smooth communication.

                        i have an airtel gsm connection which from last one year is not working in my office at chembur

                        Airtel GSM — No Network

                        I Stay at Right Bhusari Colony , Kothrud Depo,Pune-411038.

                        When I come closer to my Society where I stay My SIM Shows no Network.
                        Everyday I call customer care i get reply that its a temporary problem going in.

                        It will be ok in 24 Hrs.

                        I cannot change no as I have applied same number everywhere.

                        AIRTEL are just making me as Looser.
                        definately this type of problem occurs frequently
                        Rural customer have been bullffed with all soughts of price game and after buying SIM, many times to submitt their id proof even after submitting still they get rejected, Due to their company norms, customer care always give blind answer check with your distibutor, or area manger. It is the time for a customer to act wisely and kick this who make hell customer life it is better to switch to another company.

                            This is my first month with Airtel and and i am sad to say that i am so dissatisfied with the broadband connection. while buying a new connection, they assured me that i would get the best of the services but now all i got is nothing but false promises.

                            Recently my Airtel connection was disconnected, to be accurate enough, it was disconnected on 27th February. I had called up the Airtel customer executive and she stated that i had exceeded my quota amount, although it was the same day i got the message that i had reached 100% of my free usage. The customer executive than said that my outstanding amount was 4000 Rs. I was shocked to hear this and i contacted the nodal office and the Appellate TN a couple of time but all were in vain. Nobody gives a proper explanation on the alert i had received from Airtel. It has now been 1 month and i have made a couple of calls and mails. Inbetween all these, i was called by Airtel customer executive and i was told that a waiver has been accepted and it is enough that i just pay 1500 Rs . trusting them, i paid them the amount. Today i received a call from the appellate stating that my outstanding amount is 6000 rs eventhough my connection was long ago deactivated

                            I advice everyone to stay away from Airtel broadband...

                            Frm last two billings, i hv been getting billed for SMSs which I hv never sent.                             We have a landline cum internet connection from Airtel. A few days back we got the bill for last month (billing cycle: 26 of every month). The bill amount was Rs. 19677 of which DSL usage charges are Rs. 17832. In the first place the bill amount is exorbitant. The bill amount has always been within Rs. 1000 always.
                            On top of it, we have been charged for downloading on 23, 24 And 25 January as well. But we were out of town from 23 Jan to 26 Jan. When i checked the unbilled amount for this month, it was Rs. 10205 for just 6 days (26 jan - 1 Feb) (Which cannot be)

                            I did contact Airtel customer service. They have given me a waiver of 50% on the DSL usage charges and made me opt for Unlimited Usage plan (26 Feb onwards). But that does not solve the problem because there is problem with the bill itself and the company is charging me incorrectly this month as well. When I said they have charged me for the days when I wasn't there, they refused to do anything in that case. They say they cannot do anything about next month's bill and i shall have to wait till I get the bill. (By then the bill amount would become much higher)

                            I want them to provide me the correct bill so that I can pay the actual amount. I also want them to check my bill for next month as well because already they charged a big sum there.

                            I was using a post paid connection with Airtel on my mobile phone. This was a corporate connection availed at the airtel kiosk in our company.

                            I was using this number in Chennai, Tamilnadu. I was transferred to Maharashtra in Oct 2008 by the company i work for and hence called Airtel customer care (in Oct 2008) to place the number in safe custody till my return.

                            Customer care replied that to place the number in safe custody I had to pay all outstanding amounts. I paid the same on the airtel website and the airtel person confirmed that my number will be placed in safe custody. After a week or two (in november 2008) i saw that my number was still not placed in safe custody and called airtel customer care again. This time I was informed that Safe Custody is not possible as the option is available only if I submitted a written request, in person, at the Chenai Airtel office. I obviously couldnt go to Chennai just to submit this letter.

                            So I decided to cancel my connection with airtel. I went to the airtel office (Airtel TCS) in Aundh, Pune, Maharashtra and spoke with one Ms. Shonali. I paid balance outstanding of Rs. 56/- (Rupees Fifty Six only) on Dec 20th 2008. I was told by Ms. Shonali that the monthly rental for my connection will be waived off since Airtel gave me wrong information about safe custody which further delayed the disconnection by one month.

                            Subsequently the connection was cancelled on 18th Dec 2008. I received a bill in Jan'09 asking me to pay the monthly rental charges of Rs. 499/- when the same was waived off by Shonali from Airtel. I was asked to call[protected] / [protected] for clarifications. I called the above numbers and got connected to a lady on the second number. I explained the entire problem and she promised to call me back in 2 days but it has been over 3 months and no one called back. Now I have received a legal notice from airtel for no fault of mine.

                            1. I was given wrong information on safe custody - no one called back to give me correct information.

                            2. disconnection process took over a month so Ms. Shonali put in a rental waiver request as the delay was not from my side.

                            3. Each and every payment from the time the connection was activated till disconnection was paid on time.

                            I am in no way at fault since I had contacted airtel several times requesting for disconnection and now i am being harassed with a legal notice.

                            I lodged a complaint with airtel customer care after being on the phone with them for over an hour and they promised i would get a call back from the billing team. No call yet. Its been over a month.

                            I am shocked that a company that boats of being one of the top players is stooping to such low levels and harrassing customers for no reason at all.

                            For the past 2 months, I having facing many issues with Airtel.

                            When I joined EMC, I gave my personal credit card for Auto-Debit. After a few months my bank replaced my credit card and I started paying for bills via online at Airtel website as Airtel did not have my updated credit card details.

                            Recently, I gave Reddy (Airtel rep) a photocopy of my American Express credit card and filled Auto Debit form again. I do not know how it happened, but Airtel charged 36000 on my personal credit card. Can you please find out from where did they get this credit card number?

                            Another query regarding my bill, I had an outstanding bill of Rs.40000. I paid Rs. 15000 online from Airtel Website. Now my outstanding was Rs. 25000. But Airtel charged my Rs. 36000. Please get in touch with Airtel and get an explanation on why did they charge Rs. 11000 more.

                            After the extra charge Airtel was reducing the money every bill and the last bill mentioned -8500/-. April-09 bill shows Rs1500/- charge and there is not acknowledgement of Rs8500/- which Airtel owed me.

I even got a reply stating that tariff has been changed for both the #'s, however which I noticed that only for one # the tariff has been changed and they were billing the other # with the old tariff. When I lodged a complaint with them after 15 days they came back stating that I sent a sms and not an e mail though I have emails and building some stories in the wrong usage of the word.                             I used Airtel mobile for almost 4 years. My billing plan was in advance rental. I renewed this plan on 2009. This tariff was not reflected in June 2009 bill and they reworked the bill on August 2009 after many complaints. They informed that they can revoke the late fee charges only after paying the reworked balance. I also paid the same. But they did not follow their words. These are documented in mail. They charged late fee for more than 10 months. Finally they disconnected the service even the advanced rental period was active.
                            They used to charge bills even after the disconnection and send persons to my home to collect the payment. I asked the person to give split up detail of the bill amount. But they failed to provide those details. I told I can pay the bills only for the actual amount except any late fee charges. They said they will come with the final settlement letter. But they never come back again.
                            Some new persons contacting from airtel and they are harrassing nowdays without knowing the billing errors. They are behaving like decent thieves. They do not do genuine business nowadays.

                            There are lot of mail communication between myself and airtel but nothing resolved the issue. They simply ignoring to provide the requested information to cover their mistake. This is a kind of modern robbery.

                            I have been using airtel number [protected]- this number is being used for quite a long time and I never had an issue related to billing system..though I was sometime bad in paying bills- with delay. Bad habit, but I was charged most of the time for my bads...no regret.. Now what I see before my eyes is unbelievable. I see bill that is generated worth INR 25k ? Do I see that correctly ? Yes I do. I am surprised...someone spoken to me from airtel couple of months back and said he would be activating 3G service on my number called flexishield ? Not sure what it was. He said that would cost me some 700 INR where I can avail 2gb data+unlimited 3G exp.....Was that guy from airtel was right ? He said my 3G billing would not breach 2000 INR in any condition......above all my credit limit is limited to 4400 INR. How come bill has crossed that too? Its all a pain n headache for me in simple words...and certainly a shocking change introduced by airtel for customers who are loyal and using their services for long time like me.                             also visited my house.
                            All of them seem to be blaming back end team of your organization.

                            I would like to know who is part of this backend team. Is this team
                            accountable to some one. If yes why is no action has been taken. Just to
                            remind of various issues which I have been facing


                            1) I have till now received three different bills with 3 different plans. I
                            just applied for 1 connection
                            2) The issue has been reported and it has been more than 25+ days, and no
                            action has been taken.
                            3) for past 3 weeks internet is not working at my home and no one is looking
                            into it.
                            4) I have visited your customer service center on 100ft road, Indira Nagar, and
                            your Manager Mr Andrew is well aware of my problem, still he is unable to help
                            me and no one with higher authority is helping him to solve it.

                            Following are the immediate actions which I want from your side

                            1) ReleaseUnblock my internet line so that my daily work doesn't get affected.
                            2) Please send a installation engineer at my home to make sure that problem is
                            fixed and net is working.
                            3) Since I am unable to use your service for this month, please dont bill me
                            for this period.

                            Hi,

                            I own Airtel landline with broadband and had requested for change of broadband plan.
                            Airtel was able to change the plan only in the month of November 2011 where as they started charging me for the new plan from September 2011 itself.

                            When I contacted Airtel customer care they say that as per system the plan migration was done in September, where as it was not.

                            I was able to get Airtel technician to fix the problem at Airtel's network in November

                            I need help in making sure Airtel corrects the same and gets back to me

                            Hello,

                            I have an Airtel Broadband connection([protected]) at my home. I'm enrolled in Rs.1299 plan which entails 2mbps till 25GB and 512kbps afterwards. Last month, within 3 days of billing period, I was informed that the 25GB limit has been crossed although I didn't download that. I checked the bill detail online and found that the usage was in bursts of approx 3GB in an hour which is actually impossible at 2mbps. I called the Airtel customer care and explained them the situation. Even after repeatedly explaining them how this much usage was impossible, they kept on insisting that i made the usage and I must buy more to get better speeds. I even escalated the matter several times but they all said that they could do anything in the matter. When I checked later, the bill detail was removed from the website. And now, somehow they have charged me more this month for no reason.

                            Now, this month's billing cycle started on 8th Jan and again the same thing has happened. I got an email/sms alert telling me that my quota of 25 GB is over. I am really frustrated with this. Please help.

                            My parents have had Airtel connection for many years now. Their monthly bill never exceeded Rs.500 per month. Couple of months ago, they received a bill of Rs. 5000. When asked, they said the applications used on the phone have been charged to my parent.

                            When told that my parent do not have an internet connection, they just ignored it. My parents gave them in writing that this bill is disputed but Airtel refused to accept the letter. They have been abusive, high-handed and just plain nonchalant about treating their 5 year old customer.

                            We even paid 2,000 rupees to close the matter. The customer guy told us that the accnt is closed and we can cut and throw away the SIM cards. Later we saw the prank - the receipt does not say "accnt closure". Now they have started harassing my relatives (which I believe is illegal) asking for our new numbers.

                            Never knew Airtel could be such a horrible hair-raising, eyebrow raising experience!

                            We have bought a new corporate connection from Airtel (Airtel IP Infocom) in Aug`12 after paying RS 300.00. Initially they have provided us incorrect plan and charged according resulting we have to pay more which was not agreed. After many follow ups they have changed my plan with new additional charges of RS 300.

                            Airtel has agreed with us that we have five corporate connection numbers are mention are below under one account where we will not be charged for calls between these five numbers as they come under CUG.

                            I have a complaint regarding the misguiding which is going on with the internet plan which I have taken.(CUG plan taken for corporate employee's from Mumbai ) and also incorrect billing due to not activating the data plan in the system by the CSR inspite of calling 198.

                            I have been using Airtel GSM services for the past 6 years as prepaid connection.

                            Recently in the month of November 2012 I converted prepaid to postpaid under CUG plan which I took from Mumbai,Maharashtra.

                            I have activated the plan as below by calling on 198 on 5th November 2012 and asking to activate the plan 98 GPRS 1 GB free:-

                            Rs.149-49 = Rental
                            Rs.98 GPRS for 1 GB free.

                            Later on I had received 3 Welcome calls from Airtel call centre and I confirmed the above plans with both of them and they said the above is the plan activated.

                            Then I started making data usage from 17th November 2012.

                            Then I activated daily usage by sms SUNB to 121 and activated daily alerts for usage.

                            In those usages I got very high values which I confirmed by calling on :- [protected] and the person said the same thing that this is the plan and I need not worry for getting those high values.

                            So I further didnot ask anyone.Then started using internet on my mobile only after confirmation.

                            Later that day I got a call from airtel call centre that my internet usage is high and I asked the CSR what is the plan currently showing in the system, CSR said its getting connected to Airtel Live and Rs.98 GPRS is not the plan.(This call is dated 26th November 2012)

                            Later on 27th November I called 198 and raised a complaint, the CSR activated the plan and promised the charges will be waived off you need to call on 13th Dec 2012 somewhere around in evening when your bill will be generated. (When I asked about this complain they are saying they dont have any complain raised on this date).I even asked the CSR it shoudnt be like:- later you all will say that the customer has activated the plan from today.Ensure you are logging this complaint and he said yes.Now they say they dont have any such complaint number.

                            I kept raising issues/complains since then and have been to Airtel office in Mulund West two times but they too couldn't solve the issue.

                            Almost every day I have called 198 about what is the resolution.I even dropped so many mails to appelate.mumbai and nodal officer also corporate customer care but to no use :-

                            So I finally got frustrated and decided to port out since the charges for data usage from 5th November to 26th November are invalid charges which are wrongly being charges, this is due to the CSR mistake that they did not activate the plan.

                            Moreover I asked them to check the 3 welcome calls but no one is ready to check them wherein the CSR confirmed the Data plan(that is the proof I have got).

                            Expecting to get some help in this matter, I am really exhausted in chasing to resolve the issue.

                            Its the CSR's mistake and I am being charged wrongfully for it.

                            If I calculate the exact bill amount its 497 Rs.All the above amount[protected] Rs.) is charges for the data plan within period 5th Nov to 26th Nov.

                            You have to cancel and regenerate the bill for Dec 2012.
                            This pertains to Bharti Airtel Landline & Broadband connection : Phone no[protected], Account No 12246362.
                            My bill dated 3rd May depicted a payable amount of Rs 1171.50, which was cleared vide a payment of Rs 1172 (receipt no 67040177 dated 3rd May). Surprisingly. the June bill depicts a payment of Rs 160/- only. When I called Airtel customer service, I was told that someone else's cheque for Rs 1012 had bounced and they have erroneously debited me for that. I may mention here that all my payments are made through credit card, so the question of a cheque bounce doesn’t arise.
                            Over the past one week, multiple calls and mails to Airtel have proved futile, as their call agents are not smart enough to even understand the issue. Five Service requests[protected], 33687404, 33716514, 33731480,[protected] raised by me have been closed with a remark – “Customer Educated”.
                            They continue showing an outstanding of Rs 1012 in their records.
                            BILL NUMBER[protected] OF MY POSTPAID MOBILE NUMBER WHICH IS [protected]. THIS IS TO INFORM YOU THAT I HAVE AUTO RENEWAL 2G 1GB INTERNET PACK ACTIVATED ON MY MOBILE NUMBER AS MENTIONED IN THE BILL AND ALSO INFORMED BY CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE ON 18 MAY 2015. HOWEVER DUE TO INCORRECT BILLING AND AN AMOUNT OF 3747/- HAS BEEN CHARGED FOR INTERNET USAGE AND THE INTERNRT PACK ALSO HAS NOT BEEN AUTO RENEWED AS WAS DONE BY AIRTEL LAST MONTH . IT IS ADVISABLE THAT THE SAME MAY BE CORRECTED OR I WILL BE FORCED TO APPROACH CONSUMER FORUM AND CHANGE MY SERVICE PROVIDER.

                              This is in response to Airtel's horrible customer care service (which they now call Platinum care).
                              Airtel is troubling many of the customers with its wrong billing for postpaid customers and unnecessary balance deductions for prepaid customers.
                              The prepaid customers are experiencing deduction in their balance for the services which are activated by airtel itself and not by the customers, there is daly deduction for for many services which are not even shown active on mobile when we try to stop any such services. When we try to contact customer care there is noone at other side to answer our calls.....if they answer our call after hours or sometimes even days of calling them, they say that we have been using some services...but how are these services shown on their server if they are not shown on our mobile phones?? this means there is some internal problem with the servers or this is some cheap trick used by Airtel to take money from its customers.How is it that airtel could see such services activated and person actually using the mobile cant see it active on their cell phones? what is the use of such service of being there in the first place....
                              Airtels customer care is adding to customers didsatisfaction day by day.
                              IS THIS ETHICAL WAY???
                              IS THIS THE WAY FOR A COMPANY TO GROW....SPECIALLY FOR A COMPANY WHICH PROVIDES SERVICES AND CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE IS THE ONLY WAY SUCH COMPANY COULD GROW WITH???
                              MANY PEOPLE ARE HAVING PROBLEMS LIKE THIS BUT THEY DONT KNOW WHERE TO RAISE VOICE AGAINST THIS...

                                I have been using Airtel service since i started using mobile phone and i WAS proud to be associated with Airtel, but this is not true anymore.
                                Airtel is troubling its customers very much since a year or so.
                                I myself have been a victim o[censored]nnecessary balance cuts several times in last few months without using any services.
                                On 27th march 2012 at about 1.25 AM (i.e 0125 hrs) i did a recharge for 3G data plan of 675rs which promised 2.5 Gb of data for one month, but when i did the recharge i got only 1310 Mb of 3G data.
                                This is very frustating. Paying huge amount for a 3G data pack that too not giving what is shown is irritating.
                                When tried to contact customer care they had put my call on hold after listning to my query and then disconnected my call, then from same number customer care doesnt respond at all.
                                I tried to call from another airtel number then again same thing happened.
                                Airtel customer care is not at all responding and not at all rechable.
                                People at Airtel galleries are very arrogent all over maharashtra and not at all intrusted towards solving customers problems, this is the responce i have recieved from many airtel customers to whome i consulted before sending this email.
                                This kind of service is not expected from a company like Airtel.
                                I want this resolved ASAP.
                                I am paying for the services which i wish to use not for the mental stress caused by such bad services.

                                  This is really sorry to say that the best operator (as told by people around) has the worst response to customer complaints.
                                  I have got Postpaid connection of Airtel in Delhi circle. Paying bills in the range of 15,00 to 2,000 per month. I have got an internet connection active on phone with Rs 198 Airtel Plan.
                                  Everyday I get the message from customer care that my unbilled anount id Rs 18,000 or 19,000 etc excluding discounts. This does not clearly tell what is my actual unbilled amount as on date. I should be knowing it very well that how much I would be supposed to pay Airtel for my use.
                                  And when I contact customer care service , they say they cant tell it and it can only be calculated after the full cycle of bill generation, in my case the bill gets generated on 8th of every month.
                                  What the hell is this!!!Why cant I know in the middle of month that how much I should save for paying bills!!!
                                  This month, they disconnected my internet service which I got started on 22nd March and on 24th March customer care is telling I have used 2GB of data and my limit is gone.
                                  Is it possible in any way at any speed that I can use 2GB data in just 2 days????
                                  Where is common sense??
                                  I am really in trouble..Why did I opt AIRTEL!!!
                                  Now when I ask their customer care to file in RTI..they answer..its your will..
                                  What is this??

                                  IF you use 3G service and watch all movies then with in 2 hours you can utilize the 2GB data.
                                  Confirm you are in 2G plan and not using online streams directly without modifying from Google.
                                  I also use airtel and my monthy bill comes only 500 to 700 but unbilled SMS alert will show upto RS 6000.
                                  I know i can use upto Rs7000 include in 2gb free(98Rs).

                                    Airtel DTH Service and behaviour desperately bad. STOP subscribing to it.
                                    GO FOR OTHER DTH SERVICES APART FROM AIRTEL.
                                    I bought the Airtel DTH an year ago, ONLY because of two particular TV channels, Angel TV and GOD TV, which were available with Airtel. All on a sudden four similar channels were combined together into a single viewing window, which is really unbearable to watch. We couldn't watch a single programme there. In spite of several complaints made, Airtel is completely unresponsive.
                                    Initially the lame excuse was that there was a solar flair and it will last for a week's time and then it will be alright. Now even after two months, the same status of screening four different channels(including GOD, Angel TVs) in a single window continues. Now the response from the company is that it's enough to hear the sound and no need to view what's inside. What a bad service.
                                    Should a company of this much repute behave so silly?
