thats why i applied for Portability request from Airtel on 27 January 2012. after that i got my unique porting ID that is (AZ287845). then i decided to select Vodafone on 2 February 2012....

no service for payment at airtel outlet & harrasment

I was a postpaid customer of airtel from may 2011 to august 2012 .
I stopped using the number. I called the call center to help me close the service.
At the Thane airtel office they told me not to stop it but they offered me to convert it to pre-paid without any charge this was done over the phone at the airtel office they disuaded me to cancel the service.I agreed as I need not pay monthly charge.

False Rates on Airtel Rate Cutter

I went to one of the Regular Agencies where i top up my Airtel account.
I have had to call dubai very frequently , that i enquired about Ratecutter package.
The Airtel Leaflet (authorized) showed 1.2 paise/sec for a 14 rs/- package.
I wondered that's a good offer comparing to older packages...

Airtel has charged me Rs 5 for a local SMS when I inquired they said that I have sent an international SMS and gave the last 4 digits of the number I gave them the full number and also old them it is one of the local real estate agents. AIRTEL GPRS Wrong Charges Deduction & Rude Behaviour

Dear Sir,
I am Mukesh Sachdev. I am using Airtel Mobile Services with GPRS. I am having GPRS renewable scheme every month.
So I was surfing net even on last date of scheme. But After 12:00 am. Airtel deducted 105 Inr. from my account without any Warning.
Airtel didn't even warned me that its your last day of GPRS or for renew you should not have use GPRS for an hour.

For that I complained to Airtel...

I have a DVR connection and a normal connection.
Last year in on 12th Mar. ’11 I had asked for the connection to be temporary suspended for 6 months from the 30th of Mar ‘11
On the 30th Apr ’11 I got a msg that my balance was zero. When I called back I got to know that you’ll were still deducting a daily charge even though the call was registered. I was promised a refund of Rs. 325.

But it regretted to say that after that all calls charged at Rs. 00.60 per minute...
