sir,iam Kedar Patil had purchased airtel digital tv having customer id [protected], on 16/04/2012 i had registered complaint at airtel digital tv for stb not working properly customer request no.17898153,happy code 703,but still now no one had visited our home for stb service,5 days have gone and we still are unable to watch tv ,they have sent sms giving engineer mobile number [protected] but he is not at all lifting our call since 3 days,please do help us in this regard

This is one of my life worse experience from any service company. Last 3 days I had continuously follow your near outlet([protected]), but they don't have any experience to talk with customer. I had called more that 10-15 times & I got reply our engg will visit in 30min.

    i had made my payment of rs1800 of my airtel broadband connection([protected]) on 24rth of march 2012...but due to some technical issues my payment has not been yet updated.....Airtel called me several times to send my bill soft copy....m sending it from the link what airtel have suggested...if airtel still fails to update my payment then disconnect my service please...m sorry for my rudeness but i can't let it go my rs 1800..!
    MY AIRTEL BROADBAND BILL VERY HIKE WITHOUT ANY SURFING.SOMETHING VIRUSE PROBLEM GENERATE ULTIMATE IN CONNECTION .WHEN WE WORK OFFLINE

    I had given my problem many a time to coustomer care but there has been no action taken, my complaint is that there is a wrong deduction of amount from my account on date[protected]. i was having a balance of Rs. 475 app. and after deduction of gprs connec. charges it should be Rs. 225 but it was Rs. -30. This is for the second time my balance has gone like this, in the month of september also the same happenend but it was resolved few days later.
    pl. rectify my probelm at an earliest.

But i am getting the bill on Nov and When i check with callcentre, they said your connection is still active, first pay the bill. and they have told us that , the refund will be returned after 60 days.

    This mail is marked to tell you people how hopeless your service is. I am thoroughly annoyed by the level of service that you people have. To be very honest this is the most pathetic response, any service provider can provide, you people are carrying out your service in the worst manner. No other organization can have this disgusting level of service.
    I am calling you people since the month of November for a hard copy of my Bill. I just wanted to change the Billing mode from e-mail to paper. And surprisingly you took 5 months to do that. And the best part it is still not done. For one simple request I am calling you people since 5 months and still no solution provided. I must have called you dozens of times.

    Whenever we call you its another side of Hopeless Service, calls are placed on Hold without even informing us. People are rude enough to disconnect the calls, if they do not have any solution. They transfer the call to wrong department intentionally. They place call on Hold and never turn up. They do not even have a customer centric attitude. The was our call is escalated is a real ugly situation.

    I am really Sorry to say that I am a Customer of such a Firm.

    I have got an Airtel post paid connection in the month of March from Dwarka Airtel Shoppe and I opted for Airtel 444 plan. But now I am facing some problems with my Airtel connection billing.
    • I was committed that in this plan no CLIP charges will be there in my monthly bill as its free under Airtel 444 plan.
    • Moreover as per the Airtel 444 plan, first 444 calls will be free but I was charged for them as well
    Please give kind consideration to this complaint else I am not going to pay bill until I get the confirmation on the same and will go to court for charging me in a wrong way.
    I hope that you will understand this and take this complaint seriously.

    I have one AIRTEL Liofetime validity mobile phone. It was found since last few days. That They are deducting Rs 10, 20 or 30 on regular basis for the service which i never had subscribed for. The sample SMS is as follows:

    'YOUR SUBSCRIPTION TO THE ON DEMAND SERVICE HAS BEEN RENEWED (30 RS, 30 DAYS, 30 MIN FREE.) CALL 543213.


    On complaining to the customer care department, they told me that i had subscribed for this service. but Truly, it was not at all subscribed by me.
    The airtel or its staff for their personal benefit are subscribing on behalf of the customer without his/her (customer's )knowledge and likewise they start deducting money from mobile.
    I have another BSNL Excel prepaid phone and never had any kind of cheating by the BSNL.
    I think all the private telephone operators are seeing their company going into dark due to reduced profit margin and thats why they have started this kind of cheating business.
    Today after talking with customer care, I mysel[censored]nsubscribed it. Now i hope, they will not deduct in future.
    I am using Aitel mobile for the past two year. From jan 2008 i subscribed to free browsing in my mobile with a charge of Rs.99/month. But in my April month bill they charged Rs.738/- for browsing only. Lot of time i gave a complaint to customer care but there is response from Airtel. I fought with customer care many times for this issue. I didn't pay my bill with out solving that bill issue. Now they disconnected my mobile connection. Now i am facing lot of inconvenience without that mobile no. Pls help me. What can i do?? Can i give this complaint to TRAI???

    I was surprised after seeing my current bill dsl charges. On 4th September, 2009 it was showing Rs.1589.85 and on the next day i.e 5/9/08 Rs.479.34. We use the system only for limit purpose and also for very limited time.Please clarify immediately why the billing was more for that 2 days.Please reverse that amount immediately. Otherwise I want to give stop instructions for my ECS debit and disconnect my connection.
    Please also let me know whether I can see the download charges daily to see the correctness.Before
    taking airtel connection I was using Hathway (in Chennai) with 1 GB download I didnt pay any extra charges in 7 years.After coming to Bangalore I had taken airtel connection with 4 GB.At any cost it should not exceed 4 GB in a month. I have reported the matter to your officials also through phone.
    Please send the revised bill otherwise I will not bear the extra charges.

    For my billing period from september 12 to october 12 I used to get messages from 'Nazara ', daily, telling me that I am charged Rs 30 for some services which I have downloaded.When I got this message, the first time itself I called customer care and complained that I haven`t done any downloads and I don`t want to get any future message like this any more.The customer care executive told me that it won`t repeat anymore.But again it came and, I complained.After my third complaint the person who talked in regard of airtel told me that they can check it only when the bill comes.
    When the bill came I was additionaly charged Rs 650 as download charges.When I complained they told that I have transfered data!!!.After that they were ready to raise it as a complaint and I was told that I wilkl get a call back.I called customercare again after two days and I got the same reply.Now they have additionaly charged me Rs 100 in the next bill as late fee and when I called back they told me that they cant do anything about this and I have transfered the data.
    Kindly help me on this unfair charges levied on me.

    I already call the customer care and longed the complaint but no action

    Hi,

    I used to get my Airtel PostPaid bill on 12 of every month (sometimes delayed by a day or two) but I did not receive the bill for the month of April. I waited for around a week and then I called Airtel on 121 and they said normally the bill gets generated on 8th of every month but this time it got delayed due to certain reasons and you will get it by 24 - 25th.

    I waited till 30th and then I called back 121 and they said our record shows it has been delivered (a lie it was never delivered). And then they made me raise a request for duplicate bill. I did that on the call itself and they said I will get a bill in 2 days time.

    Nothing happened I called back on 4th and the same continued they raised another complain and said 2 - 5 days. Nothing happened and I asked them to escalate the issue, the escalation team assured me that a bill will be delivered to me withine 48 hours but again no progress.

    Now when I call they do not connect me to the escalation department and keep saying "Trust me sir you will surely get it in 72 hours" If I ask them to connect me to the manager they disconnect the call.

    I got the number of Nodal officer from 121 and noone picks the call I counted and tried that number in business hours for 100 times each time it keeps ringing.

    Can anyone tell me what should I do? I need hard copy of the bill as I need to claim the same.

    Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

    For the past 2 months, I having facing many issues with Airtel.

    When I joined EMC, I gave my personal credit card for Auto-Debit. After a few months my bank replaced my credit card and I started paying for bills via online at Airtel website as Airtel did not have my updated credit card details.

    Recently, I gave Reddy (Airtel rep) a photocopy of my American Express credit card and filled Auto Debit form again. I do not know how it happened, but Airtel charged 36000 on my personal credit card. Can you please find out from where did they get this credit card number?

    Another query regarding my bill, I had an outstanding bill of Rs.40000. I paid Rs. 15000 online from Airtel Website. Now my outstanding was Rs. 25000. But Airtel charged my Rs. 36000. Please get in touch with Airtel and get an explanation on why did they charge Rs. 11000 more.

    After the extra charge Airtel was reducing the money every bill and the last bill mentioned -8500/-. April-09 bill shows Rs1500/- charge and there is not acknowledgement of Rs8500/- which Airtel owed me.

    My name is Bhupendra Kumar using AIRTEL # [protected] having more porblem regarding billing, discount and bill plane change.
    I had put a request to change my bill plane as on 30th of March 2009 on phone as well thorugh email but not yet change it is still 444 plan going on my mobile whereas I placed a request to change this Airtel199 plan from Airtel444 plan.
    Airtel billing department charged me on continuously basis since November 2008 and I was puting request to get them reverse on monthly basis but no action taken from their side.
    the amount was charged Rs. 50.00 since November 2008 to March 2009. I asked for the disocunt but not yet given. Also the late fee for three times also.
    Comlaint # 3 is regarding the dailer tone are coming automatically on my mobile without putting any request on customer care or on line.
    Complaint#4 - I am not going to pay the bill for this month until unless my query will get closed.

    Airtel had disconnected my services without any prior information stating that the bills are not submitted and they realize this after 3 months wherin i already submitted the bills, that was my official number and sudden disconnection wihout any notice brought me a loss of my whole work and job, i would have files case against but again no time for that coz they are on a habit to cheat customers, but surely if i get any such chance i would fight for the same ...

    I am a customer of Airtel prepaid Mobile (Mobile No. [protected]). I had opted a scheme of deducting Rs.2/day for reducing call rate. Meanwhile, on the receipt of a message from Airtel I have recharged with Rs. 64/-on 2/11/09 for getting " 1 SECOND PULSE RATE " for the next one year by discontinuing the scheme of deducting Rs.2/day. I am now enjoying the ! Sec. Pulse rate from 2/11/09, the company is continuing the deduction of Rs.2/day. This cause a considerable financial loss to me. I am therefore to request that scheme of deducting Rs. 2/day should be discontinued immediately.
    I was committed to way off the amount charged on one landline number -because of incorrect information about one Bill Plan however it is not being implemented. Whenever I called customer service, your system does not work. Sandeep, Sapna, Amit, Mohit.. These all executives should be fired out of your company because they are ruining your repo. if anything is committed, it should be implemented. I need confirmation when the amount charged on this number would be wayed off.

    Airtel — 444 Bill Plan wrong billing

    I had bought the 444 plan. Airtel has charged me for services which were included in the plan. I have lodged a complaint but Airtel has not done anything about it.
    Airtel have reduced the Phone rates but billing is still being done at higher old rates.Customer service representatives and even supervisors use all tricks to insist for payment of the faulty bill. Today is the second time in last 3 months that I had to argue with them for nearly 40 minutes to make the correction. This clearly reflect dirty practices and intent to cheat customers at Airtel.

    I am forewarning the Airtel clients to seriously look at the bill and compare the rates with the published rates at their website.
    I have a mobile connections of airtel or i am using gprs services plan 50Mb free but last two month still they will charges extra charges for this services, 700/- & 150/- but i am use in my limit so please do the need ful ASAP

    I have been paying my airtel landline bills via ECS thru my Citibank credit card for the last 18 months. In February, Airtel mentioned Citibank declined payment of Rs 15672/=. Hence I paid thru my HDFC credit card. When I enquired at Citibank, they said payment has gone to Airtel. So this payment got credited twice, but Airtel says HDFC card declined. Since I did not get any credit back from HDFC, I enquired with HDFC who gave me their reference no for the payment to Airtel. Airtel cut my phone connection unnecessarily which caused mental agony.

    Last month again a payment of Rs 1296/= has gone thru my Citibank card which Airtel says it has not come. Here again, I have given the Citibank reference no for proof of payment. Airtel has again cut my phone.

    Though I have talked to Aitel, sent mail, there is no resolution of this problem.

    Please help to escalate.

    I got a new Airtel prepaid. As soon as I recharged my account with Rs.150, they deducted Rs.10 every 10 days for Auto Tips, which I never activated. Later they started deducting Rs. 10 for Hello Tunes. I called them, they told me we will credit Rs.40 on 2nd July 2010. I made a call from Airtel gallery. However still they have not given me credit. And the Airtel Gallery owner says they dont have a system in gallery to see the prepaid mobile options. I want an answer as its not a matter of Rs 40, its a matter of ethics as along with me there were people who earn about Rs 2000 a month.
    I have a landline no. [protected]. I am using the no. since last 7 years.but last few months was very stressful for me because Airtel continousely send me the wrong bill again and again but after making a lot of complaints no solution is given to me.
    i AM using internet service for more than 3 years. I have requested for shifting of connection from vakil new street, madurai to viswanathapuram madurai du;ring ju;ne/july. Due to internal administrative delays, connection was shifted/transferred only in august end. Date of activation was also not informed. Accidentaly I checked connection on 16.9.10 and found working. I used it for 3 days. Aferwards, connetion was blocked for nonpayment of rental arrears. REnt was not paid beca;use connection was not used during july, august 10. and shifting/transfer of connection was delayed by Airtel
    They agreed to settle for RS1800 for arrears rent upto 25.8.10 which was paid with shifting charges of Rs 300.
    now still they claim rent arrears of RS1211 and also going to claim rent for aug/sept 10 during which time, connection was blcoked and was not in use byme . Actually I have to pay rent only from intimation of date of activation because I am not a daily user/operator. I am agreeable to pay rent ffrom 25.9.10 onwards though I am using net only from today . Justice and prudence should prevail.

    I had been complaining to the Airtel Nodal Officer and Airtel Appeallatte regarding 2 bills sent to me. I have been sending mails to the emails addresses mentioned but are not bothered to reply back.

    I recieved 2 bills from Airtel
    1. One Bill in my name at my old address which I was staying 2 months back of which my bills have been cleared.
    2. Another bill has come to my address with another name and my address.

    I have kept on requesting them to rectify it but they never got it rectified and my broadband & calls are bieng blocked.

    Its been about 4 - 5 months I have intimated My Service Provider to disconnect my line. As this was not done by them (for their incompetancy) I had pay Rs 3000 odd to settle my dues. I took all confirmation from them stating this to be my last bill, which I eventually got from them and the payment was made. I am still receiving my bills.

    Last month i registered a request for number portability in Aitel, then i got a confirmation message from aitel.On next day got a call from airtel Number(Airtel number [protected])for asking whats the reason for my request.Me then explained reason. then that executive gave an offer to me.Offer saying that Aitel to airtel calls have cost 10 paise/minute,to other mobiles 30 paise/minute,STD 50 paise/minute and also said monthly three thousand something sms free.Also said to send one request(request format is one like CNCT or CNPT i'm not sure i forgot that that was did for a 1 month before) to 202 number for activating this offer. but i didn't get sms offer as said by airtel more over they are charging 1 rupee/sms.Actually that format was to cancel my number portability request.they cheated me.I called many times to customer service for getting refund but they didn't gave refund
    my mobile number is [protected] and i have received a bill of more than rs 8000, i used airtel 3g services for a week and this charge is for exceeding my limit. but what i am saying is the moment i received an sms that i have used my limit of 250 mb i called airtel and stopped 3G, i have complained so many times most of the time i was assured but customer care that this is unbilled usage and when i receive my bill i wont be charged now i have received my bill and it states i have to pay 8800 and out of which rs 8000 is for 3g service...this is unacceptable, for no fault of mine i have been charged this amout...i have followed the rules and cancelled 3G the moment i received and sms from airtel.....I am not going to pay this amount and am ready to go to even court to settle this matter.

    Customer care always say that they will get back but no one gets back.Please please help me

    i have been using Airtel Postpaid card for years and now they have come up with an option of converting a Postpaid card into Prepaid and have the same number , hence i visited the Borivali Airtel gallery and told them about this and they started giving me dates saying come after the bill is generated , we dont take request on month end , and so on , the last time i visited them the road out side Airtel gallery was undergoing a construction work hence i entered the gallery and everyone started saying the gallery is closed due to that work which is going outside the gallery, but in any situation the Airtel Gallery was not affected as in the Electricity was working , Phone lines were working , Interent was working so why were the tech not working and they said due to the work going on the gallery is closed , hence i told them if it was closed the shutter should have been closed as you guys are not doing any work , hence i counsulted the Manager , i informed him that this is the 4th time i am coming for the issue and still you guys are not helping me and then the Manager said ok let me see what i can do and he took my application form and all my doucments ( application form to convert postpaid into prepaid , pan card , house agreement , light bill , house possesion letter , internet bill and mobile bill and all had my names on it ) and the Manager in return said non of these doucments are valid onl Pan card is valid we need agreement of the house which is less then 2 yrs not more then 2 yrs , hence when i informed the Manager at the time of getting customers to take Postpaid all documents were valid and now not valid , so he started saying the sales department is different and so on , hence i informed if he cant help so no one can , so i told him i wont pay the bill of this card and he said its fine do what you have to do , and left me helpless , and now every month i am getting bill worth 450+ as it is my monthly rental without me using that card i am still paying for it , hence i think of taking their case officialy and bringing this into limelight as todays its me tomorrow it could be you guys......so please help me and call me on [protected]
    i got a phone plus internet [protected]. my phone and internet is not working from feb 19 2011. airtel have some problem in cable system. on april 13 they resolve the prolbem now they barred my phone for non payment. i paid in jan 25 and then i paid on april 13. the nodal offical and applette officer promise me to wave off the extra which my phone and internet does not work. so far today it is 12 of may my phone and internet doesn't work. i send so many emails and phone calls but it is all in vain.
    Airtel send me an calling-offer with capping plan via sms and later they charged me per call for all the calls made and sent me a bill close to Rs1800.When called about it I was told that the offer was withdrawn and they denied sending the sms and asked me to visit an Airtel outlet which I refused and they miscommited on resolution several times.
    When finall called to cancel the a.c I was offered a refund of Rs150 and told that I've to visit an Airtel outlet.I told them that I've just been home from hospital after a major operation I was told by a guy named Neeraj in retention that I can either go visit a Airtel outlet or payup the whole bill.
    AIRTEL is otherwise known as FRAUDTEL...

    I have been calling airtel for my no. [protected] as in the month of may i had internet plan which is for Rs.198 and i get 3GBs of data and after that 30ps per 20KBs.
    I called them up in june several times to upgrade it to the unlimited pack, but they did nit have any information regarding that and moreover i was being told the i need to have the rental plan of Rs.349 to get the unlimited GPRS plan on my phone,
    I called them on 24th of June again to get this changed to 5GB GPRS plan which is for Rs.300. And when I called them after the end of the billing cycle on 27/06/2011. I inquired about the same and the rep said that i can have unlimited GPRS plan without any extra rental plan on my current rental plan which is a corporate plan of Rs.99(rental).
    And now they have billed me for Rs.7,900 approx. which is way higher than my usual bill which is Rs.1,000 approx.
    I have a credit limit of Rs.5,000 and i got an SMS from them when i was using my GPRS service that i have exceeded my credit limit and my phone service will be suspeneded, which was never done. and last time I check my phone and the unbilled amount was more than Rs.49,000. Ideally Airtel should have barred my service, but they did not.
    And moreover there are couple of international messages they show on my bill, and i don't know whose no. is that and when inqured they simply replied that as it showing on my bill it means i have sent those meeages.
    Plesae Look into the matter as I am very upset with the service and they charge for the customer service no. as well.
    airtel executive has call me that my usage is above my credit limit, my credit limit is 1200 Rs they asking me to pay 2100 Rs because my usage is above 1200 Rs. They told me that my unbilled amount is 2800 rs. They stop my outgoing facility 4 times in a period of 15 days. Every time i spoke to customer care for unbarred my number. Now my bill has generated, my bill amount is 785 Rs that I have paid on 9th july. So i have complaint about that matter they mentally harassed me.

    The credit limit on mu cug no. was Rs. 1200. But due to some reason the the credit limt got exceeded. But the company concerned did not bar the services immediately. My point here is that what is the use of a 'CREDIT LIMIT' then. If you don't bar the service the moment the limit is crossed then its purpose is nothing but to lead customers astray. Airtel also stopped my other no. on non - payment of the bill. There is no provision of checking the data used in postpaid no.You get to know the data you have used only when the bill comes. This is cheating the customer in broad daylight. All of this has caused me great inconvenience. It is highly irresponsible attitude that Airtel has displayed. I would like immediate redressal of my complaint. I will not recommend Airtel to any mobile user out there.

    I have got a new mobile phone couple of months back and configured to use WIFI to access Internet. First couple of months bill came fine. One month I got a bill for Rs 3700/-. When contacted Air tel help desk they told me 100 MB GPRS free pack was activated on my mobile. They have agreed that I haven't requested for this, but came as free with my mobile. No one has informed me about. I haven't agreed or asked for this plan.

    How can a provider can add a costly plan without my consent? I have another mobile office where I get 5GB for Rs 750/-, here I have to pay Rs 3700/- for 500MB.

    1)they wrongly activated a Rs 1000 plan. they were asked to activate a Rs 2000 plan on which they were offering a 50% discount thus a total Rs 1000 as final applicable rental.
    2) ones i found that they had wrongly done so asked them to correct the mistake and they activated the correct plan (within 5-6 days)

    The issues are;
    1) Bill no[protected] for my No [protected](gurgaon) for period 23rd July to 22nd August.
    a) Chaged me for two seperate plans ie 225.81(23 to 29th) and Rs 1548.39 (30th to 22 Aug) ie Total of 1774.2 insted od 2000. Offered only Rs32 discount instead of Rs 1000. Thus an over charge of Rs 741.94
    b) for a total of 906 MB of data usaged charged me Rs 961.53 and gave a discount of 631.47.As per the plan 3072 GB is free so the discount should have been whole of Rs 961.53. Thus an over charge of Rs 330.06

    As a good customer i paid the whole billl(ie including overcharge) and decided that i could takeup with airtel as this could be time consuming.

    After hrs of torchorous explaination over days they agreed to correct the mistake and promised to adjust Rs 774+ Rs 50 + Rs 210 = Rs 1034.Though not the whole 1104.25. But i accepted that as a settelment.

    2) Unfortunatelly they did not keep the promise The New Bill ie No[protected] for 23rd Aug 2012 to 22Sept 2012 did not reverse the wrong billing and has again overcharged.I had bought an I phone in July and asked airtel to activate an IPhone 4 S plan.

    I would certainly like that i be billed correclty for the due charges only.

    Dear Sir,

    I am using airtel mobile from last 10 years and in November 2012 I changed my company and so I requested for change of CuG plan from my old Co to new Co plan

    I got it changed successfully in November itself and airtel has issued me a bill for shorter duration in old account and rest in new account and when i checked the bill of my old account i found that they have levied 537 Inr extra so i requested customer care for reversal of those charges and they agreed

    But to my surprise the same has been transferred to my new account then again I requested for the reversal, they agreed but since then they are levying the same 537 Rs as one time charges in every bill of mine.

    I have logged more than 10 request and also dropped mail to 121 and Nodal officer of Noida more than 10 times but of no use

    This is Ravi Kumar Sharma, a business owner from Meerut (UP)-India. I got a new number activated from Airtel to get some support in my business. I took their plan called Solitare fixed billing Rs. 1590 plus taxes per month in which i was told that i would be getting 10000 calls per month, unlimited messages, national roaming and 8 GB internet.

    First month, i received their bill on a prorata basis and i was asked to pay Rs. 1000 which i paid at their collection counter in cash.

    The next month (August, 2013), we started receiving calls from Airtel that the bill is due. My father attended two calls from Airtel office on August 11, 2013 and August 12, 2013 that the bill is for more than Rs. 4000. He was a cardiac patient and he died after that call dated August 12, 2013. No one knows now how the executive spoke to my father.

    Now that i am free from all the death ceremonies, i feel highly irritated and furious about the following:

    The wrong commitments made by the marketing staff regarding the fixed rental.
    I had clearly asked the marketing personal as to what will happen if i exceed the 8 GB or the 10000 call limit. I received the reply that my services would be stopped. Now they say that you went over the 8 GB limit that&#039;s why the bill is over Rs. 4000. Two questions :

    I just used around 100 calls for the month. What happens to the rest of the calls. Also, If i exceeded the 8 GB limit for my internet, THEY SHOULD HAVE INTERRUPTED MY INTERNET...

    I am sorry to say that i feel cheated.

    The number is disconnected since August 12, 2013.

      Dear Sir,

      I have taken Airtel's Fixed Line, Broadband and IPTV (Triple Play Service) in June' 2009 paying a deposit, installation and connection charge of Rs.2499/-. My connection was installed in 2 days with a old Telephone Instrument where as I had paid for a Cordless Instrument. I was told that the new instrument was out of stock and the same will provided in next 7 working days. But till date the new instrument is not delivered.

      In this regards I have been given regular complaints to your customer care but no action is yet happened. Every time I get the answer from the executive that we will provide a new hand set and give 100 % waiver on your bill after you buy the same from our dealer. This also has never happened in last 3 yrs.

      On 9th April' 2012 I had given a complaint for handset problem where-in I am not able to hear the conversation properly and I was told by the executive that my handset will be replaced and on further query of replacing my hand set with a new one since I was not provided the same at the initial stage and for which I have been placing complaint time and again. The executive replied that it is already 2 year and more we cannot do anything but to disconnect your connection if you have such problems. The conversation ended there in. Then I received a call from your executive at your Delhi office inquiring about my complaint and I have to repeate my same old story again. He told that we will provide you with a cordless set from our dealer and you have to pay Rs.1100/- and after installation and confirmation from your end we will give waiver of 100% on your next bill. I mentioned that I have been repeatedly chasing up this case for last few years and nothing concrete has happened yet and if it is not resolved then I have to take decision of switching to another operator. He assured me that the new instrument will be provided in next 2 day and he will confirm me the complaint no after next 10 minutes discussing internally. No call has come yet and nothing has been take care.

      To my utter surprise today around 1.30 pm while i switched on my TV I found that the connection has been disconnected. I checked the land line and broadband and connection is disconnected. i called up customer care and they told that you connection has been disconnected on you request only and if you need to re-connect then you have to pay re-connection charges and unpaid bill amount after that you connection will be installed else we cannot do any thing. I inquired of the previous facts but he was not in a position to reply he simply replied that I am sending a request for re-connection and you have to pay the dues immediately.

      Sir with due regards I request you to kindly give me proper justice since I have been harassed by airtel for no mistake or fault of mine. I have been paying my monthly bill dues well in time and have been following up for my handset repeatedly but airtel is not responding to my complaints rather harassing me.

      Thanks for the concern and feedback. To update you, I was contacted by one of your executives on 20th April' 2012, was told that you connection will be restored within next 24 hours and we are arranging to deliver a new cordless handset at your billing address by 11.30 am on 21st April' 2012. But till today the connection is not activated and no one has even come to deliver the handset.

      Further today I received a call from Ms. Ritu Kholi (Retention Team Executive) from telephone no [protected] at 6.38 pm and was assured that my connection will be activated by next 4 hours and the activation charges will be waived off in my next bill. Fuher when I asked for the handset replacement she informed that she will discuss internally and give a call back in next 5 minutes. Till now no call has been received.

      If you are really concerned kindly resolve the issue with re-activation of connection and replacement of cordless handset.

      Dear Sir,

      This is to update you that I received a call from Ms. Ritu Kholi at 9.40 am and she informed that my connection activation intimation has been initiated and it will be active by next 4 hours. I inquired regarding the new telephone instrument she replied that she has arranged to deliver a new instrument which will cost Rs. 1400/-, I have make the payment at the delivery and she will provide me 100 % waiver on the same in my current bill. She also confirmed to send me a Email regarding the same so I will not have to pay the current bill and in the next bill the balance amount will be adjusted only the differential amount has to be paid.

      As communicated my connection has been activated by 1.00 pm yesterday . But the new handset is still not delivered and the expected mail from Ritu Kholi is still pending.

      Today I have received a mail from [protected]@airtel.in that the handset has been delivered but the same has not been delivered. I will forward the same mail for your reference.

      Kindly intervene in replacing the new instrument and giving me 100% waiver of the instrument cost. Since Airtel makes promises but never keeps the same this is burning example in this regards.

      Trust that I will get proper justice at the earliest.

        My mobile phone with airtel company has had mutliple complaints of deducting money without any reason.
        But on 14th April Saturday when I was in Mangalore, the out going calls were barred without assigning any reason and without notice. It caused me great inconvenience as I had to go out to make calls or borrow some friends phones to maker calls. Next day [Sunday] and also Monday [16th] the airtel office was closed at Manipal. On Tuesady they told me to resubmit the documents which I promptly did and even after reqpeated requests the counter staff and the area manager informed me that it would be restored within 24 hours and since that did not happen I even lodged a complaint at the Manipal Police station on18th.Today is 19th and it has been a great problem for me as I hold a position where at times the phone would be in silent mode and usuaslly I would call the concerned number, but now that is not possible. The said phone has a currency of Rs. 298 and yet I can't make outside calls. May I request you to provide me assistance to get the facility back and grant me compensation for the inconvenience caused for all these days. After getting the money I would be more than happy to change the net work with the same number.

ON 09.04.2012, I RECEIVED A MESSAGE FROM AIRTEL AS FOLLOWS- "YOUR 225 BOOSTER PACK EXPIRES TODAY. PLEASE RECHARGE AGAIN WITH RS.225 AND CONTINUE TO ENJOY REDUCED CALL RATES". SO THAT NIGHT AROUND 8.47 PM I RECHARGED WITH RS.225 WITH TXID [protected].

          BUT I COULD NOT SEND ANY FREE SMS NATIONAL / LOCAL ALTHOUGH 9000 SMS ARE FREE WITH 90 DAYS VALIDITY.
          WHEN I SENT LOCAL SMS FROM MY MOBILE AN AMOUNT OF RS 0.75 WAS DEDUCTED AND THE AMOUNT WAS DOUBLE WHEN I SENT NATIONAL IE RS.1.50/SMS.

          ON 16.04.2012, I RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE FROM AIRTEL- "YOUR FREEDOM PLAN EXPIRES IN 3 DAYS. PLEASE RECHARGE AGAIN WITH RS.22 AND CONTINUE TO ENJOY REDUCED CALL RATES". I COULD NOT REALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT IT MEANS.

          I COULD NOT CONTACT CUSTOMERCARE OFFICERS VIA AIRTEL PORTAL 121. HENCE I REGISTERED FOR MOBILE PORTABILITY ON 17.04.2012 AND GOT THE UNIQUE PORTING ID AS AT 374143 & EXPIRY DATE IS 02.05.2012.

          AFTER THAT A PERSON FROM AIRTEL MOBILE NO.[protected] IMMEDIATELY CALLED SINCE I HAVE APPLIED FOR MOBILE PORTALBILITY. I WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH HIS REPLY AND ANGRILY ANSWERED HIM. ANOTHER FROM AIRTEL CALLED ME ON THE SAME DAY NO.[protected] AND REQUESTED ME NOT TO CHANGE FROM AIRTEL AND HAS GIVEN AN REQUEST REFERENCE NO. RPOCN [protected].           Airtel is the proven worst services & customer care...

          I applied for the network portability 3 times. I think customer executive is having one criteria that they shoul make a call atleast once to retain the customer... So what happened is... The next day... I receive a call from airtel customer centre. A lady asked that whether I have applied for network portability... I said yes... Then she asked me why... I said that I am fed up with the services, plan changes without intimation etc. She suddenly cut the call... Thats all...

          After 15 days... I again applied for PORT... That time it was too filthy response.. I recieved the call from airtel customercare number and I attended... Very next moment at 0:00:03 seconds... They cut the call...

          This is how airtel cares customer... I have been using the airtel from more than 6 years. For retaining the number, I used to be in airtel itself. Now... Even though they make big big advertisement of network portability, They are not given the liberty or freedom of changing the network also...

          Really Its very very very very waste to spend time to write the blog on this bull- network. Only network coverage is good. But AIRTEL is worst in call rates, sms rates, boosters, customer response, plan changes without informing, deduction of balance unnecessarily, putting some numbers as TOLL FREE and charging the cost after clicking it, giving poor connectivity to the other service provider(particulatly to aircel) who are their local competitors...

          This is not the way of doing business...


          Its a damn worst time I am being associated with this network... All because of to retain my number... Today also i have applied for PORT... Lets see... what will happen this time...

          Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal, Mr. Manoj Kohli or Mr. Sharlin Thayil... Admit that your customer service & call rates is the worst... I never get these type of feed back from any other friends who uses the other service providers...

If the service is not stopped immediately and the money so far collected is refunded immediately I have the option of moving to the consumer court. I need an instant reply on my mobile phone.

                      Crooks working at Airtel are trying to steal my number!
                      Hi,
                      My name is Menas Ahmed and i own a Airtel number [protected] for the past 5 years or more in Hyderabad, AP. This is a paid number and i paid a lot to the agent to get that number. Initially it was Post-Paid, but later i converted to pre-paid. Due to my work requirements, i had to travel abroad frequently for 2-3 month stints. And during these period i always use my number in international roaming to make & receive calls and SMS. All my banks are registered with the same mobile number and the number not working means i cant even log-in to my bank online.
                      Even though the mobile is life-time valid, airtel says that you need to recharge every month. I had some balance already. I did not recharge for 1 month or more and the phone was working all well till february end. In February last week, i noticed my phone was giving error "Sim Registration Failed". Suspecting it is a validity issue, i immediately recharged with 333INR twice and nothign happens. I send one of my friend to the airtel office Madhapur and they looked into the details and they recharged for 34INR saying that the account will get activated immediately. Nothing happens, so i call the customer care and they tell me that 34 is not the amount and i need to recharge with INR 27. I re-charged that amount and still nothing happens. After that i recharge with INR 50 again.
                      Since March 1st week i have customer care several times and then they say i need to re-submit the identity proof once again to re-activate. I sent all my valid identity details and my friend submits them in a airtel retail store at Kukatpally. After a week, nothing happens and when follow-up, they said that they lost our documents submitted and asked us to re-submit once again. I submitted the documents and even after a week, nothing still happens. Called customer care numerous time and all the time they ensured that the number was still in my name and i need not worry. They even said it was "active, but awaiting documents". All the time, they also said that my account has balance about INR 780 (approx) which is about the amount that i recharged.
                      So i attempted to submit the document at the main office in Begumpet. They did not accept the documents because i had a one letter spelling mistake on my name in my BSNL telephone bill submitted as address proof. They were very reluctant that they did not wanted to accept my documents. For the new connection, they would not mind whatever mistake was there in the forms!! all through the interaction there was something very fishy always. I then sent my Voters ID card to my friend so that he can submit my voters ID card as address proof and my passport as my identity. My friend tried to submit the document today at Airtel BEgumpet, But then now come up with the story that the number is allocated to someone else since March 4th. And only thing i can do is to call him and try to negotiate. How come a number working on my name 3rd week of February be allocated to someone else in March 1st week?
                      It all sensed very fishy because, since February i try calling my number to check and the airtel message was "this number is temporarily our of service". The message was the same everyday and even today. The message was still the same immediately after the airtel agents told that the number was given to someone else and my friend came out of the airtel. But after 10 minutes, when i try to test call the message started to say "the airtel number you are trying to reach is currently not reachable".

                      Enough is enough and its against my consumer rights. I am planning to go legal now and planning to file a case at consumer court. The pathetic service of customer care is irritating.

                      Will never ever again buy any airtel products again. I have sent instructions back home to disconnect airtel internet, landline and IP TV. Government services are much better and Airtel is not any more Airtel !!!!!!

                        I converted my Tata Docomo prepaid number into Airtel prepaid through mobile number portability on March 2012 at Madhapur Airtel Relationship center, Hyderabad.On the eve of 7th April 2012 they barred my outgoing calls because of some document submission problem (according to them), but by common sense one could know that without submitting the documents how my Tata Docomo service changed to airtel?Probably they lost it somewhere. Anyway when on sat evening I went to Airtel Relationship center, Madhapur, Hyd at around 8pm they said it is closed & they can't help me out of that.I had to wait till Monday because Sunday was again a holiday.On Monday afternoon I re-submitted my documents (I have a copy of that form which I submitted) at Airtel Relationship center, Madhapur, Hyd after waiting for 1hr with a token in my hand. I was committed that my outgoing calls will be active within 24hrs. But till today it has not been resolved & when I am trying to connect to Customer Care Executive the call is getting disconnected abruptly due to their technical problem. I just need to know how many more times I need to visit the airtel office again & again.Whose fault is this & who is suffering for that.

                        aritel prepaid connestion — Regarding lifetime facility

                        My name is guptheshwar prasad i am from ranchi my problem is i get prepaid connection one year ago and in march 2008 i recharged my connection to 499 life time super value vaucher at that time validity shows 2024 and after 10 days it is showing 2010 and then right now it is showing Aug 2008 when i called costomar care they are telling SMS your problem i do SMS 50 times but there is a no responce from costomar care service.
                        My lot of money has been wasted now still it is continue becaus life tiem facility if not given to me. i think your costomar care service is not only horriabel but terrible also. Airtel costomar care service is nothing but very dangerous concostomar. We got fedup with airtel service so do action as soon as possible otherwise i do not have a any other alternate to take the service of another companies.

                        So i kindly requested to go over that matter and take the appropriate action.

                        I am using samsung mobile C140 with an offer of airtel prepaid of 100 minutes free per month calls of airtel to airtel local calls from 01/05/2007 till 15 days back, but now the offer is not activating, when I informed to the customer care they are also not solving my issue instead of they are saying " You should recharge your balance" I will agree for that but my offer period is not yet completed ( it is absolutely for 2 years )
                        finally I am not able to use my offer minutes.

                        Airtel Prepaid Service — Service not being restored

                        I have a airtel prepaid "Lifetime Service Facility" connection for many years now. Since last month I am facing a strange problem and after repeated complaints to Airtel, nothing has been sorted out. Suddenly from one morning I notice that all incoming calls, sms and outgoing sms facility has been barred. Those trying to reach me get a message that my cell is "switched off". I have complained to Airtel over phone and online. Till now, I have received numerous mails from the customer care executives (a new one everytime - don't know why they maintain Unique reference no. when they don't track the complaints with it - one unique ref no given is[protected] asking the same questions over and over again to which I kept on answering back with great patience. I now understand that they use this technique to delay the process till finally the consumer loses his patience and gives up!

                        I have suffered great loss because of this irresponsible service of Airtel. I think this is enough harrassment for me to raise this issue to Consumers Forum. I am always travelling, and would therefore like to know how to take it forward. I would have preferred to continue with this connection, if Airtel could have resolved this problem, as all my contacts are aware of this number.

                        Airtel Prepaid — Barring of outgoing calls

                        I am "Shivani Singhal" , my airtel no- "[protected]" has
                        been barred from making outgoing calls since 15th Oct,2010.Today on 18th
                        oct,2010 I have received a message that I have to submit the documents .
                        My airtel no. is six months old and have already submitted my documents
                        when i got this number at Noida , where I used to stay . Presently am
                        staying at Lucknow , and paying roaming too.
                        I refered the matter to customer care no.- [protected] at delhi and I was told that according to TRAI directions you have to submit one additional passport size photograph with address proof , these documents are to be submitted at CUSTOMER CARE , DELHI . I then made contact with UP East Airtel customer care no. - [protected] , he also directed me to submit the required documents at DELHI. How come I have to go Delhi to submit documents which I had already submiited at the time of purchase of SIM and why cannot they be accepted at the place of present address .
                        Moreover, I have paid for validity upto 2011 and recently recharged my phone for Rs. 200.

BUT THE GIRL CALLED ME AND DISTURBED ME TOO MUCH THAT I GOT HARRESED MENTALLY.....AND DISTURBED VERY MUCH. THE EXECUTIVES FROM OKHLA OFFICE EVEN ABUSED MY EMPLOYEES AND PARENTS.
                          SEEING THE ABUSING AND HARRASMENT I FINALLY DECIDED TO MAKE THE STOP PAYMENT OF THE CHEQUE GIVEN.

                          Dear Sir,

                          I am a corporate postpaid connection user of Airtel, my mobile number is [protected] this number belongs to the CUG of Ricoh India limited Kolkata branch, I have paid my last mobile bill on 13th May 2008 at the ICICI ATM drop box located at Shakuntala Park like every other month. The due date was 24th May 2008 & the cheque number was577609 dated 13th May 2008 on ICICI Ballygunj Branch for Rs 629.20. Till date the cheque has not been produced at the bank for clearance and today I have received a fresh bill of Rs.1274.25, as per the connection status credit limit allocated is Rs.2300.
                          Suddenly today afternoon I found out that my outgoing has been stopped and on calling up 121 one robotic type of a guy told me that I am taking your complaint and we will get back to you by Friday, it was as if I was talking to a IVRS system. Please tell me where is my fault? I am not at all depressed by all this, it is airtel who is loosing revenue if I am not using your facility, in Today’s world nobody gets stuck if stupid and senseless people like you all behave so rudely even with corporate customers. As you can see clearly a copy of this mail is being sent to corporate HR department of Ricoh and to our regional heads also, this will only help you to gain bad reputation and help other service providers to gain ground by your childish acts. I had a talk with Mr. Nabendu Roy of Airtel Kolkata ([protected]) today afternoon who deals with our account and always assures us by saying that he is the single window messiah for us but when he came to know about my problem he told me that he is riding a bike and he will get back to me shortly but he hasn’t found time or cared to get back to me yet. It is almost 9o’ clock at night.
                          I would request you to trace out the cheque and try to be a bit less rude to customers who give you revenue month after month.

                          Airtel — COMPANY MISBEHAVIOUR AND HARRASMENT

                          I HAVE RECENTLY CHANGED FROM POSTPAID CONNECTION TO PREPAID CONNECTION, AFTER SEVERAL INSTANCES OF NOT RECEIVING BILLS ON TIME.
                          BUT EVEN AFTER CHANGING, I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD TAKE 72 HOURS FOR THE PREPAID CONNECTION TO BE ACTIVATED.BUT IN CONTRARY, IT TOOK MORE THAN 4 DAYS.
                          ALSO, NOW THEY HAVE STOPPED MY OUTGOING WITHOUT ANY PRIOR INTIMATION, AND WHEN I HAD VISITED THE AIRTEL RELATIONSHIP CENTRE(PANVEL), THEY WERE LEAST INTERESTED IN SOLVING THE ISSUE, AND EVEN WENT TO THE EXTENT OF SAYING THAT IF I WANT TO COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM, I CAN GO AHEAD.

                          I am having airtel Postpaid card my number is [protected] and this is CUG card and other CUG user did nt pay that bill and my number's bill are fully paid everytime after that airtel collection people call me and my relatives and spoke with them with very bed language after that i made complain in airtel customer care but no resolution from them side so what i have to do now ...

                          Bharti Airtel — misbehaviour by employees

                          I had a mobile post paid number from Airtel. There was a delay of just one month as I was transferred from Gujarat to Mumbai I could not pay the bill. However Airtel did not call me or even send me a mail but today they have started calling all my freinds and relatives for some legal action. One Miss Neha Malhotra cell no [protected] is doing this from Airtel and when I enquired with Airtel they did not give the details of the employee. They should have atleast called me once as the amount involved was negligible and had I refused to pay then they could initiated any legal aption. Spoiling anybodys reputation like that is not ethical and illegal. Therefore you are requested to take corrective steps to check such misbehaivours.

                          I have been getting repeated misbehavior calls from airtel on my mobile [protected]. Inspite of paying all the bills, airtel is calling me from[protected] and asking me to pay the outstanding.
                          I have paid all the bills sent to me. When I asked her to send me the outstanding she asked me to wait for one more day. And now at 14:40 pm on 21, April, 2011 she asked me 10 times if I have received the bill, if I have checked the email.
                          It gives me an impression that all the employees of airtel and dumb and stupid because they cannot understand statements in one go.

                            Hi,

                            This is to bring in to notice the wicked game Airtel played with me. I had an airtel

                            broadband unlimited connection number [protected]. I never knew the plan, cause an Airtel agent gave it to me

                            saying this is the best plan for you, you will be charged just Rs 600 for 100+ KBPS transfer

                            rate for unlimited data transfer. I was amazed and got what he has promised for full 2 years.

                            That is 100+ transfer rate, unlimited data transfer for 660( including taxes). I was over

                            satisfied, but few days back I changed my house and got my Airtel connection transferred. To

                            my utmost surprize my transfer rate dropped down to 15+. I called up Airtel, and what a

                            stupid excuse they gave me "sir the speed you were getting was actually a technical glitch at

                            our end, and now it is rectified and you will get this much speed only". Technical glitch for

                            the last 2 years, I was struck, technical glitch for 2 year. And moreover, is it my fault if

                            Airtel has a technical glitch that lasted for 2 years. This is the worst thing I have

                            encountered in my whole life. I am a software engineer my self and never saw a technical

                            glitch lasting that long. And moreover its Airtel's fault, why do I suffer cause of that?

                            People move ahead and I moved backwards with Airtel, I was getting 100+ transfer rate and now

                            it has come down to 20. I am so so disappointed with the treatment Airtel gave me. They

                            didn't even tried to compensate me, they just asked me to disconnect my services if I am not

                            satisfied. Following are the names of Airtel officials in the hands of whom I got this

                            harrasment:

                            Airtel India — Harrasment unlimited (Airtel is bad)

                            Let me introduce myself as Anbu Nirai who lives in Chennai and has had the Airtel postpaid connection for a number of years. For about two months I find that the tower signal is sporadic at best when it comes to my house (the ground floor portion). I made it a point not to pay the monthly bill and represent the cause as I thought that would bring about the desired attention to the problem and a resolution can be reached.

                            I made a formal complaint regarding the No-Signal problem around the second week of this month. I was told that the issue would be resolved by the 30th of this month. In-between my outgoing facility was terminated and I made an appeal on the grounds that a resolution to my problem had not been arrived at. The agent I spoke to apparently consulted with a superior and told me that she would release the line as the No-Signal problem was in the open status.

                            An agent called me in the latter half of today (when I was in my workplace) and informed me that the No-Signal problem had been rectified. Seconds later I found that my out-going facility was terminated once again. I called the so-called Costumer Care of Airtel (with tremendous difficulty I might add - just couldn't get a human being on line) and informed that I'll go home and see for myself if the No-Signal problem had been rectified and that they should release my line until then. I also added that if the problem had been indeed rectified I would happily pay the bill online at that very moment.

                            But then the agent I spoke to seemed to be determined to keep repeating the same thing over and over again and failed to see reason even after putting me on hold many times to consult a superior. The conversation was so painful that I realized there was no basic respect-element throughout. I made it clear then that there was no point in paying for something when you do not get the service that you deserve.

                            When I was on my way home I received an SMS from 247 asking me if I was happy with the resolution provided. To type YES if I was happy and to type NO if the problem still persisted. (I wonder who designs these things...to send an SMS of this nature to a person whose outgoing facility has been terminated). However I tried replying NO but then the message wouldn't go through.

                            On reaching home I was shocked to see the state of affairs to be the absolutely the same and that Airtel had the AUDACITY to lie to me about rectifying the No-Signal problem. I wanted to make known that the problem still persisted. Cold Shoulder treatment again.

                            I am a sensitive person and the whole exercise is stressing me tremendously. I am seriously beginning to wonder if anybody from Airtel really cares. I also realize that if I pay the bill I'll have to wait for another month to put pressure on the Service Provider to give me proper service.

                            Can Airtel really provide service to self respecting people or just to those who grin and bear and feign satisfaction? I wonder. I AM HURT.

                            I want to complain about this BAD SERVICE. Moreover, I have used this number for a number of years and YET I have to make a decision to go to a provider who can provide the necessary tower signal to my house. I am not even sure if I can retain this number even by going to another Service Provider through legal assistance. However, I am mighty keen not to let these irresponsible people have the last laugh.

                            GIVE PROPER SERVICE and get the payment. This is good.

                            GIVE IMPROPER SERVICE (even lie) AND GET THE PAYMENT & disconnect the outgoing facility if payment is not received...This seems to be the AIRTEL IDEOLOGY (STUPID AND VILLAINOUS).

IN FRACTION OF SECONDS I RECEIVED A MSG THAT SONG (CHUNARI CHUNARI) HAS BEEN ACTIVATED ON MY NO AND I HAVE BEEN CHARGED RS15 FOR DOWNLOAD AND RS 30 FOR RENTAL.AND VERY NEXT MOMENT I DEACTIVATED MY HELLO TUNE . I AM VERY UPSET THAT AIRTEL ALWAYS CHARGE ME FOR VALUE ADDED SERVICES WITHOUT MY REQUEST FOR ACTIVATION. KINDLY HELP ME REGARDING THE SAME.

                            I just want to share my experience with Airtel DTH. I have recharged my Airtel DTH account [protected] in June 2010 for Rs.500. My account is credited with Rs.500 after recharging
                            from the recharge coupon. After 24 hours my account was suspended. When I called customer care, they didn’t have any clue why they have suspended my account. After number of follow up, they replied that some other customer claimed that amount and my account is debited without informing me. when I asked to get my money back, customer care executives disconnected by call several times?????. Now Mr. Naveen and Mr. Rakesh from Airtel DTH needs a proof of that the recharge coupon that I used to recharge my Airtel DTH account almost a year back.

                            Is this a Joke????

                            My Friends if you are using this service and recharging with recharge coupon then keep it and do not throw, else you will be the next in this list.

                            Today I received a call regarding the above complaint and the executive inform me that I can go for the consumer court and telling me that I have used someone else recharge voucher.

                            They are now misbehaving me and ask me why I didn’t complaint on this issue earlier. I have spoke to around 10-15 executives in Airtel DTH and now they are abusing me over the phone.

                            Friend do not avail Airtel DTH service, please go other DTH providers like TATA SKY. I have another DTH of TATA SKY, they are the best.

                            Your executives call me and blame me for not having the recharge voucher that I used to recharge my account a year back. This is simply ridiculous and you are not bothered to rectify the mistake that you have had from your end.

                            Dear Friends, they are not rectifying their mistakes and their executives call me and inform I can move to the consumer court
                            This is Shailesh Kumar ([protected]). I have recharged with Rs. 330 on 4/Jul/2013 and suddenly I checked on Sunday and found my Balance to Nill. I recharged with Rs. 200 on Sunday again and called Customer Care, This is what the summary of Customer Support.

                            1. I have called on Sunday at around 9:50 PM IST.

                            2. Laxmi took this call.

                            3. As per her, They deducted 330 for data usage, I have asked that why did you cut off my Main Account money when I am using Data Plan for 149/Month.

                            4. As per her, You have consumed your data so we started cutting off from your account.

                            5. My concern is that when my data usage limit is over, I should have informed that data usage has been over now amount will be disconnected from your main account however I did not get any information and suddenly found that Account is Nill when I had to make a very urgent call which caused heavy loss for me. As per here we cut like that only, we do not inform customer.

                            6. Suddenly I check my data usage for this month and found that I have only used 1.98 GB of data for this month using Smart Phone features than, I asked her that I have used within the limit so that no amount should be deducted by your so called policy.

                            7. She said, Sir we have reduced down from 2 GB to 1 GB for this plan hece we are charging you for .98 GB surprisingly I got an SMS today itself mentioning that you have 2 GB of plan. My asked same to her, She said we reduced down you have to pay. Is this a way to scale down without informing us.

                            8. I was not quit happy with her and asked her to transfer this call to any senior, she said that she is the last point of escalation. No further help will be done.

                            9. Later on she said that okay, let me transfer this call to my manager and put me on hold for 10 min and then she realized that I am still waiting for transfer then she hanged up the phone without and I was surprised and felt foolish.

                            This is very frustrating that, people get cheated and they do not have any fear from Govt. I would request to please help us in this matter.

                                  I had requested for port in of one of my mobile numbers ([protected]) to Airtel network since the other no. is of airtel ([protected]). both the nos. are in use for more than 5 yrs and registered in my name. What shocked me was that the driving license issued by a Delhi Authority was rejected on the ground that the photograph is not clear. Other photo IDs with me (PAN card, Voter ID) have even more unclear photos. These documents are issued by govt. authorities and the manner in which they are published are beyond the control of the users. In such scenario, am I supposed to run to these authorities till the IDs come out as good a finished product as to satisfy all the service providers?
                                  I am facing this even though the same ID has always been accepted by many other service providers including airtel itself.
                                  Above all, the people sitting in the outlets behave like sarkari babus, very discourteously rejecting the document without applying their mind.

                                    I am a second year MBA student at Sri sathya sai institute of higher learning prashanthinilayam,puttaparthi Andhrapradesh. I brought an Airtel sim on 22 march 2012. I had submitted my Local Residential certificates Duly signed by the authorities my Pan Card Issued by the central government my college Identity card and my Andhra Pradesh Road transport corporation Bus Pass issued at Vijayawada when i was doing my B.COM at Andhra Loyola College. The number was Rightly working for 10 days then they asked me to submit the same documents again they reopened the blocked incoming outgoing. but now again they have blocked my incoming and outgoing leading to lot of problems for me i request you to look into the matter so as to solve it. I dont know what is happening and why they don't accept the residential certifiacte issued by the university and the pan card issued by the central government. I Request you to look into the matter so that it is solved as soon as possible.

                                      I have transferred from Hyderabad and wanted by Airtel Digital TV re-installed. Its more than two weeks of struggle and Airtel people have refused to do so. Several times I have loged requests/complaints by Emails & also customer Care nos. Last two of the requests/complaints reference nos are 17809814 and 17901703. These were reference provided by Airtel. What has happenned latest is discribed in my below email (originally written to Airtel) : -

                                      Dear Saket,

                                      Thanks for the concern showed from your end but as I told you during our telephonic discussion today(your call through Phone number:[protected]); I was confident that Airtel people here will not attend the cause.

                                      Two Engineers from Airtel arrived today to our house address; I mention once again: 5E1, Harmony, MIG 2, Rajarhat, Kolkata - 700157.
                                      Below are the comments from them listed in order from the time they entered :
                                      1. The antenna given to us while getting an Airtel DTH service is of no use.
                                      Reason Quoted: They have got the contract from the society of installing a Mother antenna. Hence the connection shall be made from Mother antenna. While negotiating the contract they have signed that no separate individual antenna will be installed.
                                      We agreed to given reason and asked them to provide the service in whatever way they can.

                                      2. Our set-up box is use-less. We should purchase another set-up box from them which is rather the basic simpler version.

                                      Reason Quoted: Our set-up box is Recordable one and they cannot provide this service here. Hence we will have to get a new one.
                                      We asked the difference in the two refusing to buy a new one.

                                      3. The recordable one (the set-up box we have) requires two wires/cords while they have only one cord.
                                      We gave them two 12mtrs cords; which we had to buy from Airtel during our installation last time.

                                      4. They still refused. They asked us to call an electrician at our cost and get the second wiring done upto the place we want to keep our set-up box and then call them. They will come and make the connection.
                                      This was indigestible for me. I asked them to stay back till I call the customer care to make confirmation on the same point.

                                      5. They told us that they cannot wait here for this "Tamasha".
                                      I told them that If I can wait for their time for more than two weeks; why can't they wait 5minutes till I confirm from Customer care?

                                      6. They told me that they are busy people and have no useless time to wait. Hence they left my house.

                                      The people who visited were Shibnath Biswas (Contact: +91-[protected]) and Tanmay Pal (Contact: +91-[protected]). I am surprised by social etiquette's trained/tought to them.

                                      My observation and deduction from the situation
                                      Airtel sales people make any commitment with the societies to get order without considering interests of Customers.
                                      Still there are always ways to upgrade the installed technologies BUT your people are not at all interested in putting effort & time to do so. They are happy with easy money they are getting. They simply refuse to install the second cable and asked customer to get an external service; specially when the whole society has cabling and Mother antenna from Airtel.
                                      We are paying for the installation, the cables and set up box but still we are asked to get external Electrician for installation. I am surprised to know the "latest scope" of your installation service Engineers.

                                      I have two questions:
                                      1. Why this set-up Box was sold to me, if airtel cannot provide service...that too for such Basic reason? We Buy Airtel's new system, we pay for usage, we pay for installation service and now we also pay to Airtel (or support by paying Electricians) so that Airtel can develop/upgrade themselves to provide the respective service to us. Unbelievably complicated situation.
                                      2. This is a case where the service provider has ceased or refused to provide the committed service. Hence why not all the investment made by the customer shall be returned to him?

                                      There are two solutions:
                                      1. Do whatever you can to install my Airtel service within 1 week. I don't wait any longer now. I will use local cable service providers till then and cost shall be born by Airtel. /OR/
                                      2. Take back your Set-up Box; Antenna, Cables etc and return all investment I had made.
                                      I need your option by end of this week. In event of no-solution to the case, I will be compelled by non-professionalism of Airtel to go to the Consumer Forum court for the resolution.

                                      Its a really long time for you to understand my pain.
                                      First request - In Feb from Hyderabad to intimate about the transfer.
                                      Second request - First week of April confirming arrival at Kolkata (providing contact details and address)
                                      Its two weeks from then now. Result - No service.
