Airtel — FRAUD COMPANY

BELOW METION COMPLAINT I HAV GIVEN BUT TILL THE TIME I HAVNT GET ANY CALL OR ANY CONFIRMATION REGARDING THS FROM AIRTEL.
THEY HAV JUST KEPT COMMENT OVER THE PROBLEM AND TRYING TO AVOID ANS OR SOLUTION TO THS MATTER.

I REQUEST TO KINDLY LOOK IN TO MATTER AND THS IS NOT ONLY HAPPEN WITH ME IT HAPPEN TO MY FRIEND ALSO EVEN THEY GOT SAME REPLY FROM FRAUD COMPANY AIRTEL

DEAR SIR,



I am using airtel service since last 5 year and using two airtel no which is [protected] and [protected], but unfortunately this time I met with incident for which I haven’t got good response from 121 services



I got call from airtel executive last Thursday i.e. on 3rd dec, 2009 as I was getting previously regarding new scheme in which executive offered me 30 paisa flat outgoing with zero rental plan and also life time CLIP free so I Agreed to that scheme and she send executive to my place and collected Document and 700rs CASH which was deductible from my monthly bill amount



But after 2 days she was not picking up call and then I complained to 121 customer service and my ref no are 29789864 but not get good response



I got call from no [protected] and her name what she told Is NEHA and calling from malad office. And the executive came to my place his name is ANIL.

And he gave me airtel customer copy and he signed on that.

please suggest me on ths matter ASAP

I got same reply what u said when i complaint in December to airtel...till that time ur team is working on ths till date???

So when u took so much time to resolve One Complaint of Your Old and Valuable Client then I dont think That you are able to give proper after sales services.

I also got cheated in same way some where around march 2009, and when i complaint to airtel office, they told me that our team is working on solution and even i complaint to airtel nodal officer but it is of no use...it is very shameful that such a big company doing fraud like this...now i got how airtel company has became big...hatsoff to you guys...cheaters

Airtel India is the greatest fraud network . . . . i made a sms booster and recieved recharge succesful sms too . .. but they were taking 1 rupeesms from my balance which came to my knowledge after 3 days . . . . now cant even call the customer care service . . . i am here some unwanted messages from them but speak to care service . . . . this is the 3 rd time i am getting this problem . . . they cheating us a lot u people please be aware of it . . . . . Pleasse stop using this this FRAUD AIRTEL NETWORK . . . .
just recently i had started using Airtel number though i took that sim card few months back. day before yesterday i contact to the customer care about my plain & tariff , & after that i was interested to Airtel to Airtel economic plain for night time & that gentle man guided me that i have to make promo @ 33 INR. & that will be call charge night 11 to morning 6 (IST) it will be charged @1INR=20 mnts during that specified time & it will be cut down from my main balance. yesterday i made that promo & after that i put 20INR topup. after that midnight i am going to avail that facility but it wont works . so i contact CC executive Mr Nimai Bor & i explained him all things & then he told me there is that type promo & then i asked him that's mean my promo was not activated & he agreed that my promo is activated but might be by mistake they cut down money from my main account so i need to talk with their Supervisor. then he connected me to his superior Mr Debesh Saha. & Mr Saha told me that as i am carrying other promo so i cant avail that @33 INR promo , then i told him i asked day before yesterday CC executive that what is my current plain & what will be economy for me if i am going to talk Airtel to Airtel at the mid night & he guided me to go promo @33. i informed to Mr Saha politely so why i dint avail that promo?? Saha explain me 1000 of things in a nice way & of course he is trying to be very smart & he told me i have any other promo so i cant avail this, i told him ok I am agree but can you tell me why 2 days back your CC executive misguided me?? then Mr Saha told I am not asking him details that i have any other promo going on so for that CC executive might be forgot to inform me that @33 promo will works if i have any other promo. then i told Mr. Saha that i had asked that CC executive whats my current plain & then he told he my current plain after that i asked him what will be Airtel to Airtel economic plain for night time & then he guide me. after that Mr.Saha i guess dint get any handy excuse so Mr Saha provide me [protected] & this is for nodal officer & i can contact him morning 9.30 to 5.30 so he can solve my problem or i can mail that nodal officer. so this is my Experience.


so my conclusion/Bottom line is..... I have never seen such worse customer care services in my life.Airtel is a fraud company.They only believe in selling their product but not in providing services to their customers

    I have been getting a message saying that I have renewed for the airtel's [protected]@5 service and rupees 5 has been deducted from my balance. I have not subscribed to it. but it is deducting money every day. I called customer care and told them about the problem but they cut the call without intimating. Immediately i called again and told them that i called few minutes before and i did not get any respone. He asked me to wait, in order to check details but he did not come back. i waited for 20 minutes on line. And when i call again it is not allowing me to connect to the customer care executive anymore. Instead asked me to dial *121# . But eventhough no use. Plz deactivate this service on my number. My number is :[protected].

    Yes Airtel is making this kind of fraud. It is just a way of making money to them out of 100 customer only 10 customer will check for all this kind of messages. what about another 90 customer without knowing to them airtel will be taking 5Rs every day.

    Same thing happen to me also, Airtel deducted 30 Rs from my account without my knowledge.When i call the customer care they reply saying that it happen by mistake. I dont know how it will happen by mistake.

    Airtel make this mistake to earn money.

    My question is why they should not pay for their mistake? When we delay paying the bill by mistake we are paying the fine of 100Rs. Why there is a difference between customer and service provider.

    Let Airtel also pay for their mistake. Let them pay stolen amount * 100 as a penalty.

    We spend our time calling customer care to reverse the charge all is waste of time and effort for us.
    With due respect i'd like to request for deactivation of fhm services in my no.-[protected]. This service has been deducting rs.5 everyday since last month.
    so, it would be cool if you deactivate it.

    i was very happy being an aitel coustomer frm many years but lately i am very pissed with this fraud company.i have been activated with FHM services from airtel and they deduct 5 rs everyday from my account.this is the 3rd time they are doing this.2 times i called them up and told them to deactivate the service, it does not appear for a couple of days and then again it comes up.today i tried getting in touch with airtel customer care, they kept me on hold and deactivated the call.and now i cannot get through the customer care no at all.i am surly planning to shift my services from aitel if this problem goes on, as i feel with these kind of experience that airtel has become a company to grab money with irregular services.AIRTEL do something for this no :[protected].

    Airtel — Deactivation of FHM@5 subscription

    Respected Sir,
    I'm being charged Rs. 5 for [protected]@5 service per day without using it. I have placed a Complaint at Airtel Customer Care (121) but I'm not getting any satisfied response from their side. It happened a week ago. It was deactivated. But it has been activated again without my knowledge. Kindly stop this service as soon as possible as I cant afford this deduction any more.       I have requested Airtel DTH to close the connection and refund the balance amount Rupees 959 in my account [protected] last month. They have done CPE recovery on 03/04/2011 after following up with them for 30 days. Even after CPE recovery they have not refunded my money. Am following up with them daily basis, there is no response to emails, service request are being closed down without being resolved. Its one of the worst service providers. Request the authorities to refund my money at the earliest.

      I am also experienced. Airtel DTH refund service is really pathetic.

        Subject: REMINDER 3: FINAL REMINDER & COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS WITH AIRTEL SERVICE AT TWO NUMBERS

        Dear All,

        It comes with a lot of grief as the patience I displayed, Airtel was truly unworthy of the same. I hold a number 88..226...(You can know the two numbers I complain about thru the complaint number as its unsafe to put them on a public forum) I had visted the Airtel office and met Mr Nand Kishore with all the below mentioned problems and he was supposed to revert back to me by 8th April Thats the next day with a solution. As they had not creditted back the amount I had paid in the initial(500 rs). I called three times to Mr Nanad Kishore on 8th, which you can also check in the gemntleman's call log, but neither did he honour his commitment, nor did he call back. Then Mr Saurabh Kumar, one of my aquaintance working with Airtel who had met me when I was talking to Mr Nandkishore, called me as I had called him after calling nandkishore and tried offering me a solution. He said that 200 rs will be immediately creditted and then 100 each will be creditted every month. When I asked that I want to speak to Jyoti, to whom nandkishore reports, he suggeted he will be able to give the solution. Trusting the same, he offered me to give an immediate discount for the mistake Airtel had committed in not paying me back my 500 rs., he offered 200 rs discount immediately and 100 each for 3 months which follow. Not satisfied with the solution as i did not trust AIRTEL, i agreed as he was an aquaintance. With the problem with the other number, he told me he will take around 4-5 days to revert, I agreed, and I waited. It has been 20 days and I have no response nor any communication. I paid the previous bills on both numbers, as directed, and as 88..226... was on dispute I reduced the amount which was on discount and paid, but accidentally i miscalculated and still paid more, The disputed amount was 602, and what I did not pay was 457 or so, as it was disputed. I was getting conactant calls from Airtel on the number from gurgaon and I told them thats its in dispute and I am still awaiting a response.

        Yesterday I recieved my Bill intimation on my cell, which said that my bill is 544. Now when I felt it was more as the calling i did did not exceed 390, i called them up for clarification. I realise that I have recieved 135 rs as discount, which comes with the freedom 249 plan and still did not get the discount of rs 100 which was promised to me. When I asked them as why did I not get it, they say, there is still no mention of the deposit amount paid. Why? When I gave you all details and still there is no update, do i have to fight everymonth now to get my own money. When i asked him in what section was the 200 rs dicount given last time, he said that it was for custmer loyalty and to oblige me but is no where mentioned that it was for the return of the 500 rs I paid in security deposit. lodged a new complaint no 37150970 with my shazad alam. (I have a recording of the conversation, if you wish, i can send it across to you, and it is a customer call where the customer care wasted 1 hr and still no solution)

        I really do not know how the organisation is run and what filthy customer cheating practices you might follow, I am tired, agonised and over with facing such trauma with Airtel. I want that my 500 rs that i paid in the initial, be refunded to me Immediately, I am not willing for a month to month adjustment.

        With my another number 88..226..., I am still to get a revert, and no details have been given till now. I am not going to pay the charges for a service I have not used. The reversal of Rs 602 has still not happened, after repeated reminders, Visiting your ofiices, showrooms, wasting my precious time, wasting fuel, causing mental stress...and the list of damage is endless.

        Kindly do not send me auto generated mails, I want people to write mails readin everything. There is a chain of trailing mails, and I guess there would be someone in the airtel who would care for the company, and not like to run away from responsibilities(like all I have met till now), and hence will read it all and can solve.

        Bharti Airtel — Airtel not providing receipts for prepaid recharges

        Airtel outlets in Ahmedabad have stopped giving receipts for the cash they accept form the customers towaards Prepaid recharges.

        They say that we provide sms confirmation for the transaction..and that's it, no receipts/tax invoice are provided as they have a rule not to provide the same.

        The complaint has been put on 121 and also to Nodal officer Mr. Keyur karia's and also with appellate officer Niti Sharma's office.

        How is this possible that Airtel is accepting cash from customers and not giving Tax invoice/cashsale reciept for the same.

        It seems that Airtel is doing cash business and not reporting teh same to tax authorities and generating a lot of Black Income.
        They have finally provided the receipt.
        Remember, It is cool for stand up for your own rights. Read the article in the Sunday times 2 weeks prior or so, regarding the Anna Hazare Movement.
        Companies who make false promises and who dupe, we should stand against them, together. Spread awareness, spread light.
        This chalta he attitude results in pulling us back. We work to earn for us not to fill pockets of cheating companies and corrupt people.
        I know that a lonely stone gathers no mass, but together, we can bring down the biggest of cheating companies. Together we can make a difference.
        I completely agree, Airtel is a company which does dupe people like this. I read your whole mail. Too long, but shows the whole picture. The fact is they also tell you to go to consumer court if you do not find answers or solution, because they know such act either does not occur from customer's side, or if it does, it is going to take a long time in our judiciary.
        They have 1 cr customers, even if they charge 1 Re a day from them without knowing or in some miscellaneous head, they earn 1cr, which goes in their pocket. Rather 1Cr is the number of people who took Airtel till date, I guess lot would have left it by now.
        Their VAS team has targets to achieve, and so they do charge here and there extra to keep filling Airtel's pocket, thats their job.
        The best way is that you forward this mail to all your friends and tell them to keep forwarding ahead. When more people know of it, they will understand every time 1 Re or 2 Rs or any amount is charged extra, where is it going. This will help them take either take MNP or close the number.
        This will also help more people, as they wont be fooled by AIRTEL as they will prefer other telecom providers over this cheating company.
        PS: This is a post of 1st May which I could not feed here. Post of 3rd may is just about to come.

        Friends another discovery!!, The customer care had asked me time till
        4th may to revert on this. I got two calls on Friday but could not
        pick up due to being involved in some other work. Remember, one does
        not know it is the customer care number. There were msgs too that we
        had called you from x number regarding your complaint but as we could
        not get thru you we will call back. The msg was sent twice as the call
        was also twice. In evening when I got free from my work, I called the
        cust care and told them to call me anytime as I am free now. The
        gentleman said that my complaint is closed because I did not pick the
        phone. So here the complaint does start on your request but closes on
        theirs, not on to your satisfaction. I asked this senior person to
        open my complaint and keep it open till I tell them to close it, means
        till I receive a solution. On Saturday whole day I do not receive a
        call and I call to check up on 198 and a senior person tells me that
        the complaint was closed, and raises another complaint. So even though
        I telling the customer care guy and he confirming that he will keep
        the complaint open it never actually happened. It is good that I
        record all their conversations, else they can any day refute and say,
        we never said this!! It is a complaint made on 31st march and a month
        has passed but no resolution. I am so pissed with the organization
        that I will deactivate(or take MNP to Vodafone or Tata docomo) 3
        airtel numbers and 2 airtel DTH connections that run in our home if I
        do not get a solution by their committed date. How can pvt sect
        organization be so lethargic and un professional.

        Just writing two lines of apology does no good, I have gone thru this agony and stress since March. Yesterday noon an executive/manager Kunal called and said he will resolve the problem. He asked me the details again and said he will refund the Rs 500 by evening and will call me once the money is being refunded to my account. He took a time till evening yesterday, I still await if there could be any response(The conversation is recorded).
        I also recorded conversation with the Airtel Office Owner from whom I took the connection where he clearly states that the 500 rs that I had deposited is not reflecting because of some error, and he will make sure he will pursue and get me back my money.
        My question is, It is my money that I deposited, I have been asking for it for more than a month now, How long should a person wait for his own money? Why cant they listen to the customer when he says he has not used a service and he has been charged wrongly, cant they see the credit history of the client, whether he has paid all bill on time or not: when he has done till now, why not now, cant they see their own fault in it?

        Not just that, is the system so paralysed that it takes more than a month to resolve queries. Is no one except the top management not capable of solving a customer's problem. And if so, we should try getting Mr Mittal's number, and should only call him to resolve our queries.

        I hope you are taking a note of the same Mr Ranga, I would like to see the promptness of your response. The request is, I have gone thru enough agony, stress and pain for more than a month(and I know that Airtel is not a customer delight provider that it would go out of the way to please it, coz let me be honest, if it does, I will surely mention that too here, I mention good as good and bad as bad), If the queries cannot be solved, then do let us know soon so that we can take necessary actions.

It was deposited at Airtel Showroom at Kiran Path Chauraha, Kiran Path, Mansarover to Mr Naresh wh is the owner(His number is already mentioned in the comlaint) with the customer relationship form 18823.

        How can this be possible that you eat up the money i give as security deposit or activaion fees, which you are supposed to revert to me? I am not going to fight again for this number too, I need a refund of this number now. I have had the agony, stress and pain with one number and I am not willing to take it again for this number, I have lodged the complaint, I have given all details. I need my money back for this number too.

        Mr Ranga, I do not want to let you go thru the shame of asking apology again for this mobile number and its complaint hence I need the refund now.

And I justfully asked for my own money! how would you feel if you go to the bank and it refuses to pay you your money? And so proudly you claim that to be solved.           I have been given Airtel DTH connection with recorder on 28.04.2011 after very painful/agonising experience from your organisation. The installation was promised on 22.01.2011 and after vigorous followup by me it was at last installed on 28.04.2011.
          After the installation to my surprise I am finding that the transmission is of very very poor quality. The channels are very blurred and is worst than local Cable operators distribution signal. The installation person has informed that the transmission quality will be of what I am getting. If this is the case then what is the use of taking DTH connection from your company. All other operators are giving very much better quality as is seen by me with my neighbors in my apartments who are using Tata Sky, Dish TV,Big TV. Some of the channels to name a few like NTV, ABN,NICK,SVBC,Gemini News, Gemini Movies, Subhavarta and many of other channels are not shown and these channels are getting stucked up and the set top box does not respond to any channels after this. Again and again the Set top box is to be restarted by switching off the power to the box.
          I am also not given HD Cable along with the set and the installation person has informed that it is not available with him and after receiving the same he will be providing it. The Set top box being a HD equipment, I am amused that the pre requisite of supplying of HDMI Cable in order to watch HD channels is not met and what is the fun of having taken a HD Recorder, which only your company has to understand/explain. As promised while booking the connection, the HDMI Channels have not been activated and the message that the channels are blocked message is coming if we try to view the HD Channels.
          I request you to immediately rectify these errors of transmission and see to it that the quality which is expected of a DTH TV is made available to me. If for any reason you are not able to maintain or provide me the quality of DTH transmission as being advertised by your company through various modes and is not up to the industry standards I think I have every right to return the connection and take the full refund from you for not being able to give the required quality of service.
          Hope you will resolve the issue on top priority today itself.

            I am airtel customer from last year. I am R.K.Choudhary from Jharkhand,my mob. no. is [protected]. The problem is that from the two months ago my mobile balance is deducting regularly even i have not activated anything.sometimes it deduct Rs30,sometimes Rs20,sometimes Rs10.........and sometime in made negative balance........... and so on. And now generaly it deducts Rs30 without providing me any information.I have complained about it in the call center but no any steps have been taken.Even then I called to the customer care and he also not received any call and if received,then cut my call latter.Is this a method to treat any customer????? this is not good.so please see to this problem and take some steps.if this problem would not get solved in few days then i'll leave this sim and would start using another.And one more thing return my all money back.Almost Rs100 has been deducted from my mobile balance.It is very shameful..

            So I called up 198 for registering my complaint and found out that one of the Airtel Service “Airtel Astrology Services” was activated on my phone without my consent. The customer care executive told me that he is going to transfer my call to his senior executive and then call is droped,i tried a lot bt could not make another call with customer care executive again and i found that suddenly there was no option for making call with executives.

            For no fault of mine and not subscribing for that service as above my account has been deducted of Rs. 30/- without my consent.
            I also sufering with same problem with my another airtel no [protected].

            A weekly subscription was activated on my mobile no. [protected]. I called to customer care they told me that they can not give money back but they will stop this service. I said ok stop this service but after a week they cut my balance again and my call was disconnected when i call on customer care.then i called using my friend mobile and they told they will stop service but it is running till now and on 16.02.2011 this is 3rd time when my balance is cut.             Idea — Deducted mob.balance.

            I am an IDEA customer from last FIFTEENTH months. I,RAVINDRA KUMAR CHOUDHARY at Bokaro from Jharkhand, my mob. no. is [protected].The problem is that from the 12th months ago my mobile balance is deducting regularly even I have not activated anything. Sometime it deduct Rs30,sometimes Rs20,sometimes Rs15 and also Rs 15 had been deducted on Dated 10th May. without providing me any information.                 My Dish TV (Customer # [protected])is not working since 25th April and inspire of daily reminder you guys are not taking any pains to get it fixed. It was a big mistake I took Airtel DTH

                On 25th I tried to call at 12150 but your representative didn’t pick up the call. Then on 25th Apr I have sent the sms HELP at 54325 and I got a message that your representative will call me but no one called me till now.

                Again on 26th Apr I called at 12150 and complained about the problem with complaint # 7362815. I was told that this will be fixed before 5:00PM on the same day (26th Apr) and I will have to pay Rs. 100 fixing this issue. Still no one from Airtel DTH has approached me to fix this problem.

                You want to charge back to customer for fixing the problem where as you don’t understand that pains that we have to take I am already paying you the subscription charges where as I am unable to avail these services since 25th because of negligible response from your team.

                Daily I am calling you guys and every time I call I get a complaint no 7439136 on 28th Apr, 7397291 on 27th Apr, 7362815 on 26th apr

                You people have really crossed the limits is this the way you treat your customers?

                there is going to be no response from airtel dth you will have to file case in consumer court in following format I too had the same problem and am filing the case shortly my cus id is [protected] and my no is [protected] call me and take help free of cost .
                mail me and i will send you the format and guidence to file a case in consumer court

                It takes Airtel several (3 to 4) weeks in order to listen about any issue. Note that this is not the time that they take to resolve the issue, just to acknowledge it.

                  i did send the email yesterday.you give 24 hours time.now but i think your given time period expire.why you did not solve my case.

                  I am anees akhter.My airtel no is [protected].Getting an Airtel
                  prepaid connection was the biggest mistake of mine in my life till now.I am
                  facing problems with my balance.. when i did recharge this
                  number([protected]) than show my balance. but after some time my balance
                  automated deducted.till now i had lost 40 rupee balance.My number not show
                  negative balance. than why you did deducted my balance.i will go against to
                  you.Please as soon as my problem.i have only one pack 98 GPRS.I have no other
                  service.

                  I tired contacting 121 their customer care number but no response as it is
                  automated and takes too much of time. I called a post paid customer care
                  executive who was not helpful either and only told me to get back to 121. On
                  the third inquiry with the post paid customer care executive i was given a
                  number[protected] which no one was picking up. After searching on the
                  Internet. I got a toll free number 600 600 for problems related to recharge of
                  prepaid an amount of six bucks was deducted from my prepaid account. I then
                  searched for the email id which was [protected]@airtelindia.com.

                  So much for automated systems and so much for customer care. I guess if i
                  recharge i will lose the entire amount. which I do not understand for what it
                  is being deducted.

                    My number [protected] have requested for MNP from Reliance to airtel on 19th April and provided the related all docs on 19th April, still now whenever I go to airtel office, they will tell that it will done and when i call some customer executives will tell the status will updated today or tomorrow,some will tell they can't see any update on my no ,pls visit nearest airtel office. So I have visited Airtel office many times. I am totally disagree & fed up your system and customer relation officers, because they are are not support with us. I have also discussion with your customer care center over phone various times and they have given many request reference numbers, which are as follows CMPRO[protected], CDAMN[protected] and CDAMN[protected]

                    Current issues

                    1)If MNP status is not known by this adopted operator-Airtel .I can't believe what a dumb customer service such a giant like Airtel is having (some can see the status /some can't see..Some miracles in back end)

                    2)TRAI doesn't hold this service providers for any such issues caused to customer ,if we are not ready for MNP .why to showoff that we will PROMISE to upgrade in 7 days which we are totally INCOMPETENT of?

                    3)Finally ,let me if Airtel doesn't require me to upgrade ,i don't care and neither i respect Airtel for this .I will be happy with my already stupid service operator-Reliance

                    AirTel — Regarding MNP

                    Hi,

                    I have applied for MNP on Airtel website to change my exist service provider into Airtel.

                    First of all after putting the request they call after 10-15 days stating that you can change your existing service provider to Airtel and after 2 days their executive come and collect the documents.

                    Now after collecting document NoBody is responsive even after calling to concern persons many time they are redirecting to me somebody else.

                    If this kind of services Airtel providing before taking the service then what will happen after taking the Airtel service?

                    I'm having Airtel no.([protected]). I hav been in this network since 1 year.I,ve decided to port out from airtel to vodafone.First of all I sent the request message for unique porting code more than 100 times but still I did not got any response.Then after sending some request they sent me one invalid code.Then I called customer care & complained.Once again I sent the request message for code then they sent me the code & I sent it to vodafone & they told me to wait for 7 days & vodafone people told me that Airtel service provider has rejected my MNP request.I am fed up for 3 to 4 months regarding MNP.I think Airtel is not the company with good business ethics they just harass consumers.Till now I have not got any response from Airtel I even email then some many times.
                    I am a Airtel prepaid connection holder since 8-9 years. The call rates 50 paise per min is not for my usage. I opt for mnp from airtel to vodaphone on 25/7/2011& also i got the mnp code on 11.17 am.On 26/7/2011 @10.24 am, i got retention offer as 1/2 paise per sec to all the network for 6 months & the offer is continue after the 6 months peiode, by your compeny reprasentetive to my mobile[protected], so i opetd to retain to airtel. The offer is activeted after 10-12 days on repeted call to your custamer care people, & your people informed me that, someone has recharged my mobile no with Rs 33/-, (which is not done by me) & the mnp offer is delaid for 1 month. On enquering about the same with custamer care people, they told on 29/8/211 the offer 1/2 per sec has expaired, which is only for 1month, and 30paise per sec is actived to my no .But when retention offer is given to my mobile([protected]) no as 1/2paise per sec to all the network for 6months & the same will continue even after 6 months, has not been fullfilled. But till date i hade not made a single call for 1/2 paise per sec plane form my mobile([protected]) no. On 30/8/2011 i called your custamer care people regarding the same (1/2 paise per sec), they told me that my no [protected] has activated by the 30paise per sec offer & also i talked to the floor manager who could not resolve my issue & esscaletd my quary online to the higher ups regarding 1/2 paise plane & told within 48 hrs compeny people will get to me in this reguard, if thay dont not turn up, he told me to log in to 121airtel.in & complin the same. Till data 10/9/2011 time 8.10pm no one called me on in this (mnp offer)regard.So do needfull in this offer 1/2paise per sec as early as possible, if not i wiill had to to complin to the TRAI regarding malfunctioning of the mnp offer, i got all the records/proof in this reguard, it is not blakmailing, it is a request

                        Cannot deactivate from AIRTEL mobile TV

                        i downloaded AIRTEL mobile TV app on my NOKIA E63, & while browsing the channel packages i accidentally subscribed to one of the packages ie
                        All channels pack @Rs. 40/week for 20 min.
                        without any messages Rs. 40 was deducted from my balance.

                        When i tried to unsubscribe immediately i couldn't find any option o[censored]nsubscribing. I tried sending message UNSUB to 54321 many times but with no results.
                        i removed the application that very day, but on sunday 24th april, Rs. 40 was deducted from my Airtel mobile automatically.
                        when i called Airtel customer care they said they cannot do anything & that i should go to Apalya.com site & unsubscribe from there itself.
                        But there is no option o[censored]nsubscribe or deactivating the service anywhere in Apalya.com site.

                        i want you to resolve this issue as soon as possible. I cannot keep on losing Rs.40/week for application that i dont use.

                        I was having the same issue. Since 4 months AIRTELhad been charging me 199+18%Tax
                        I called up Customer Service.
                        First lady told they cannot even unsubscribe me from AirtelTV
                        I called up again. That customer service executive gave me a waiver of 199.
                        But didnot waive off the tax.
                        So I again called up the customer service.
                        After lots of calculations and discussions,
                        Airtel gave me waive off for just 2 months.

                          Issue happened in following steps:

                          1. SMS Pack not started for Mob: [protected] in Dec 2010.
                          2. For that bill Generated of Rs 3600/- only SMS (Total Bill 6192/-).
                          3. Mobile Number Got disconnected.
                          4. Filed a complaint at [protected]@airtel.in at 22 April 2011
                          5. Received Outstanding Dues letter from Airtel

                          6. We had a discussion with Mr. Mr. Ashwani Gandhi and a lady receiving the call.
                          They committed a wavier of 3092/- and asked to make the balance payment.
                          7. After this payment your number would be restored as we are facing loss to our company (marketing no).

                          The only Problem is Now Mr. Ashwani and the lady are denying their commitment to restore our number [protected].

                          Please look into this matter immediately, as all the payments of all our number is outstanding. And we will not make any payment
                          without resolution of this issue.

And then after we utilized SMS service and SMSed some thousand SMS's. Thereafter a month later we have received a bill of more than 6000/- Rs, in which more than half amount was SMS usage amount.
                          After having lot of discussion with the Customer care team at 121 we are unable to receive a waiver on the same. Whereas our marketing number [protected] is now permanently disconnected.

                          We want the problem with bill and waiver should be resolved so that we can make the payments of all the bills immediately. Until this problem is resolved we find no bill clearance of all above mentioned number.

                            I am holding Airtel prepaid sim card. I received a call from airtel agents suggesting for prepaid to postpaid conversion. I got convinced and a guy named Jeetu Pavale([protected]) came for collecting necessary document on April 07, 2011. I was assured that the whole process wud take max 7 days. I was charged Rs.300/- for the conversion and received the receipt (Receipt No. 106449) and a welcome kit (sim card inside). But till now it is not activated. I have been calling the airtel representative who came for collecting the documents since long and that fellow is not at all picking up my calls. Pissed off calling hundred time daily to the Airtel representatives and on the top of it they assure me tht the complaint has been registered and I would be getting call from the responsible person in 24 hrs. Also provided me with the Request No. 37027043. Its been a week but didnt receive any calls from them!

                            This agent is seriously spoiling the name n image of Airtel.
                            My question is - Is there any way through which I can check if my documents have been submitted with Airtel or not.
                            I m afraid that by doing this kind of act they are just making fool of general public.

                            I need your help in letting me know whether my application along with the necessary proofs has been submitted or not.

                            I have been charged Rs. 300 as the conversion fee.

                            And if my documents has not been submitted that means these agents/representatives are making us fool. Its like a business for them...collecting money from people and filling their pockets.

                            Please dont suggest me to visit Airtel Relationship Center. If I hd to visit ARC, I would have approached them in first instance only...we trust these agents coz we cant spare time for these processes.

                            and on the top of it nothing can compensate the mental trauma I m facing coz of this.

                            Please let me know the status of my application or else give me the contact number of the concerned person who could assist me properly.

                              We have taken new airtel land line connection combo plan 2 months back. Since last 5 days the broadband is not working and we called the customer care 198 and 121 but we did not get any response. Some how we could able to speak with the customer care executive ms akansha jain the previous day but she was very rude and did not registered the complain regarding our broad band connection. We have already paid the bill of last two months and still it is reflecting we have not paid the bill amount.

                                Its been 1.2 years im using the Air tel Digital TV. The box stopped working from last 12 days and i raised the complaint 10 days back. The funny part is if you call customer care no one will attend the call.
                                I got a call after 3 days and i gave the complaint and thy provided me with a case number. Its been another 7 days im doing the follow ups with engineers and fell to **** thm. As the response is pathetic. I have given my address details and case number to the same engineer more than 6 times. He dont have a data base neither he dont know what the complaint is. Excuses are like leave applications...I dont have digital box in stock..i dont have screws to tighten...wat d **** ? ...
                                I have decided to cancel this **** for ever and never will use Airtel in my lifespan.
                                Anyone who have the power to raise this kind of issues...pls react against them.

                                My customer ID is [protected]. I am also facing the same problem. Many channels like AXN, Zee Cafe, Filmy, VH1 Music, ETC Music, CNN-IBN to name a few have the same error--"ERROR 2: Inserted view card is not an Airtel view card or it may not be inserted properly. Please insert a valid viewing card correctly again. ".

                                On calling customer care they told me that i will have to pay for the "service" of the engineer as well as for a new card as there is problem with my card. What i don't understand is that Airtel provided me with this card and its just 1 year 1 month old, why should i be paying for their faulty equipment? Who will pay me back the money for not getting these channels for all these days?

                                Even my DTH has a problem that it takes around 1.5 hrs to switch on. I had a similar problem 6 months back and now I am facing the same issue again. The service engineer came to my house and replaced the settop box without even checking the old one. After that he tells me that I don't have sufficient balance. I told him that I had about 320 in my account. He told me to recharge so that he can proceed with the swap. On asking him why I need to recharge when I have in access of 300, he tells me that 450 Rs will be charged for replacing the set top box. What was astonishing is that he was replacing with an OLD STB and the warranty for the same is just 3 months. And if something goes wrong again I need to shell out another 450.

                                I can see there are many people facing similar problems with Airtel DTH. It looks like they just want to mint money by their so called "service" with their below par electronic equipment. 2 replacements in 1 year for a STB clearly shows the quality of STB.

                                Customer care and service engineer are both very rude and they don't care about customer satisfaction. I got a sms stating that my complaint is "resolved" when the service engineer was having an argument with me!!

                                I have spoken to customer care to try to solve my problem. But all i get is another complaint No 7434103. To lodge my complaint I had to speak to customer care for 50 mins. I have spoken to following people today 28th April : Sunaina- senior executive, Koel - manager.

                                Any new person looking to buy a DTH connection please learn from my mistake and save your hard earned cash!!.
                                I will definitely not recommend it to anyone and I am hoping that consumer forums can help me else I will have to pursue legal route against Airtel DTH as I am tired of the blackmail that if I want the service I need to pay for "service" visits, when all they is do is replace their faulty equipment and deduct the amount directly from the account without informing the customer.

                                Airtel makes money not only by way of subscription charges but also by way of installing pathetic hardware that self-explodes every few months.

                                Sending emails to them is like talking to bots. The calls made to customer support never let you talk to what might be a human.

                                  I got Broadband Connection in Apr 2009 on my landline No[protected]. Due to repeated errors in billing I requested closing the Connection. Airtel assured me that the error will not be there on landline as details of calls made are sent with the Bills. So, I terminated Broadband and agreed to use only Landline Services from Jul 2010.
                                  I noticed overbilling in Aug and lodged repeated Complaints of DSL charges of Rs 60/- being billed eventhough Net was terminated. Airtel agreed to waive-off these charges. I waited for 3 months but neither waiver nor stoppage of DSL charges was done. Hence, I asked them to permanently close the connection and adjust the last bill against Excess Charges. Airtel continued to lure me with many offers at least rates. Their Mr Ashish Pandey Mob [protected], team Leader Noida, promised immediate waiver of Balance and restoration of Outgoing Calls on payment of Rs 2000/ which I did same day.
                                  For last 10 days I am getting Messages of discontinuation of Services if I donot pay the Balance Amount immediately. My effort to contact Ashish meets with NO REPLY
                                  and the SMS TO LODGE COMPLAINT shows error everytime. Finally, I contacted his assistant Mr Raj on 27/04/2011 and he promised to expedite waiver. Yet I got a threat today to pay the amount or forego the Connection.
                                  I am a House-wife of a middle-class family and fed-up with such ruse. Kindly help me at the earliest as my elder daughter in USA has only this No to contact. Please also send a BSNL Landline-cum-broadband service request form to enable me to switch over to more reliable ISP.

                                    Hello, I''d taken a new Airtel digital TV connection on 10-Mar-2011 of Rs.3450/-. But I''d to cancel it (on the very same day) due to some technical reasons: 1) Dish connection on our society terrace not allowed. 2) No east window open in my flat (this was not intimated earlier during ordering). I''d registered my complaint regarding the refund on 14-Mar-2011 & was assured on 16-Mar-2011 that I''ll get my money in the next 7-10 days. After waiting for more than 20 days, I again called your customer care on 07-Apr-2011 & got a reply that I''ll get my money in next 48 hours. But then even after a week no refund was received. I again called up 14-Apr-2011 & the representative asked to send an email complaint. I did that also but in no respnse till now. I then called up again on 17-Apr-2011 & was assured of refund within 48 hrs. But still I havent received my refund amount. Every time I call up their Customer care I get a different answer or a promise that I''ll get it in next 48 hrs.                                     Still my issue is not resolved. Havent got my money back.
                                    A couple of different representatives have given me a call asking me about the complaint & whether it is resolved.
                                    Cant they check the current status & details of my complaint in your system. Also there is no concrete reply from them. They keep the phone saying they will get back to me in 2 days.
                                    But those 2 days will never come.

                                        I'm a airtel GPRS subscriber for the last 4 months right now.I usually recharge with the Rs299 recharge voucher and enjoy the GPRS service in both my mobile phone as well as in the PC.I was quite satisfied with the service whatever they are providing.

                                        But last time I came across my shocking nightmare when after recharging with a new Rs299 voucher I was informed that there's been no updation to my GPRS valid period which is 30 days.And as soon as those 30 days was completed my connection was cut off.

                                        Even though I'd recharged again with 2 valid days to spare they have denied service to me till now, which is 28 May, 2008.I got even more shocked when I called to the customer care and they told me that they don't have any such records of me recharging.I don't have any idea how come they don't have any records, because I've e-rechareged with a Rs299 topup and I've the comformation message of the recharge indicating "RECHARGE SUCCESSFUL, on[protected] at 08.25PM...TransID[protected].


                                        I don't know what to do now.After that I've called the airtel customer care several times, but they say they can't do anything since they don't have any records...I'm at the receiving end now.It's certainly not about money.It's about being a aware citizen.Had anyone recharged with a Rs2000 topup and found that they don't have any record of him recharging with that recharge then what would've happened.

                                        It clearly shows their non professionalism in this business.Error happens with every one.But there should also be the try to solve
                                        make up for the error.Thank you...

                                        I have already taken a gprs plan Rs.98 per month free browsing with 2GB downloading free with MOBILE OFFICE & I have 1800MB left after that when i am using gprs, it is aking my main balance.

                                        I got a top-up of 98 to which I am entitled to get 2GB of gprs usage through my mobile.
                                        But after activation of the service also when I browse internet the ammount is beong deducted from my mail account balance rather than being deducted from my dedicated balance for internet browsing.

                                        I called customer care but did not got any satisfactory response.

                                        Yes, even I have the same problem, when I registered for GPRS service for Rs.45, they say (customer service) that it has been updated for Rs.44, which I recharged 15 days ago, and they cut off the call line.
                                        now I am not able to reach them in any form, the IVR is routing to 121 and I get an prompt SMS to use 121 service, there also calling to customer care executive is not accessible.
                                        if cheating is having at this level, and cheat minimum of 10 Rs each from Airtel customers, then Airtel will be the richest.

                                        Airtel — Deduction of balance from main account rather the dedicated GPRS account

                                        Even after my dedicated data balance account was active(checked by dialing *123*7#) suddenly my account balance was getting reduced from my main account for internet usage. After loosing quite an amount i called customer care but they did not respond properly. Even they dont know how mobile office settings operate. One guy told me activate zero balance account while other asked me reactivate same plan..nothing helped
