Well, I had been having this mobile number [protected] since the last 7 years. But Airtel has started my prepaid balance theft. It has happened like when I recharge a get a balance say Rs 30/- overnight that reduces to 0 and by next day it touches negative figures. This has happened 3 times by which I have lost around Rs 300. A complaint was lodged at the Airtel customer care where assurances were given that it was a mistake and that they will get that corrected. But the same continued even thereafter.

It seems that Airtel is now a front organization for organized theft business.

Particularly, since now that I have moved to a different place (due to work) and the number has been used by my parents, who are not that aware of these tricks that were played felt cheated after the same happened repeatedly. It was only then I came to know of it.

To me it is not the money but the harassment that my parents had to suffer. I seriously feel like moving to the consumer forum with the issue and would use my corporate links too (if required)
Sorry Airtel. This has not been resolved. The balance still appears in negative. Please return any balance that was deducted without any notice.
One time airtel deducted my balance for using GPRS. I called Customer care and get back that money successfully. Otherwise no issue from airtel.

    I am Mr.Jitendra Kumar Singh from orissa an existing Customer of Airtel Mobile Service Orissa since September, 2010. My Airtel Mobile Number is +91-[protected],When ever I am calling to customer care 198(TollFree)/ 121- customer care no one is responding to my call, I hav tried many times since last 15days and the same result I m getting , some one picked up the phone and then disconnecting it ,hence being rigid of this type of customer care I have decided to portout my number from airtel ,for that when ever I m sending Sms as Port [protected] to 1900 Re 1 is everytime deducted from my balance but the reply was “your request could not be processed. please try after sometime” in this way I have lost more than Rs100.00, when I dialed from another airtel mobile and complained all about the above said matter they told me that your request will be solved soon ,but atlast I found there is no action and having no response from airtel since last 15days now I m here to complain,Hence its my request to you that please enquiry the matter and solve the case as soon as possible and help me to port out from this cheater telecom airtel,if here also my complain will not be solved then I will 100% sure break this sim and through this sim in dustbin and in my family 15 members are also using airtel I will port out their mobile also to other network and I hav the power in my hand and I can do it and advise all my friends not to use airtel connections,hence kindly help me to port out from airtel.

    Airtel/ mobile service — airtel not sending UPC code

    Hello,

    My Airtel mobile no is [protected] and I am staying in Mohali punjab.I wish to switch to Vodafone due to Airtel poor service and zero customer care (unethical practices).

    I sent PORT [protected] to 1900 many times but I am not receiving UPC code which needed for MNP
    .

    i will advice all my friends circle to stop using Airtel and port out their number from airtel to another operator as this cheater company airtel is always cheating its customer and taking money fraudly
    what the hell r u talking airtel not at all taking any steps to solve my problem pls solve it or else i will file a case of frauds against ur telecom bcs i hav the proof now that ur not serving me properly and deducting money always for the sms that is not benefitted to us
    I am trying to call Airtel customer care from last 25 days and not able to connect to the customer care because the call from my mobiles to customer care was fully ignored by airtel, I have sent many mails to the Airtel customer id's, event to the nodal office id's but there is no response inspite of continous follow-up. This is very frustrating as neither I am able to contact them nor they are making any contact and I am facing lot of issues. Also to add nobody is picking the phone in the nodal office of Airtel.
    Dear sir I m Jitendra kumar singh using airtel connections for a long time and after being frustrated from the worst service by airtel when i tried to port out my mobile number to bsnl now airtel is not sending me porting code instead for that particular sms everytime Re1 is deducted from my balance, like this i m always sending sms in format PORT [protected] to 1900 but the same error evrytime rs deducted and in reply ur request could not be processed pls try later after taht when ever I am trying to call Airtel customer care from my mobile [protected] since last 25 days not able to connect to the customer care neither 121 nor 198(Toll Free) because the call from my mobiles to customer care was fully ignored by airtel, I have sent many mails to the Airtel customer id's, event to the nodal office id's but there is no response inspite of continous follow-up. This is very frustrating as neither I am able to contact them nor they are making any contact and I am facing lot of issues. Also to add nobody is picking the phone in the nodal office of Airtel. Iam using airtel service since 2005, mobile number [protected], but i think airtel is not providing us opportunities as compared to other net works in J&K.Yet we have to pay very high call charges when we make call on other networks.Neither i agree with with the GPRS, Customer care, services.I sent port [protected] to 1900 many times but all in vain.Now please send me my UPC code so that i would join other network.

      Harassment met at the hands of Airtel Executive ,Franchise and Airtel in principal for not installing the Airtel Broadband connection inspite of collecting initial amount of Rs. 500/


      Dear Sir/Madam,
      That I have been embarrassed to apply for Internet broadband connection on the 26th Feb.2011,whereby initial part payment of Rs. 500/- were collected by your executive vide receipt no. 1584006 dt. 26th of Feb.2011 ,assuring that the connection would be installed by 28th Feb.2011 but did not happen till date- which is clear cut violation of the norms agreed upon.
      Hence you as a principal are liable to be held responsible for it besides your franchise,M/s Gem Marketing P Ltd, Sanjay Place Agra.
      Though, it was sought to be brought to your knowledge but failed to have a talk due to faultly tel. no./not getting the number.
      That the notice were sent to your franchise vide speed post on March 9,2011 but they did not care to respond inspite of receiving it.
      Even, the personnel of your vijaynagar office were told all about it oiver the mobile, but they too did not care to it.


      That acting on the misreprestation , I am entitled not only to recover the loss actually sustained but also any profit which I would have gained. Which in the present scenario is Rs.2000/- in addition to Rs.500, paid to your executive.
      That you are requested to remit the amount to me at the earliest but not later than 15 days from the date otherwise the matter would be taken to the court.
      That the notice is being sent to you on this day, May 1,2011.

      Bharti Airtel / Broadband Connection — No response from Bharti in case of discontinuation of services

      Hi, I am Pankaj from Chandigarh. I have requested Airtel customer care to discontinue my broadband/landline connection as I was shifting from that location but till time its not done.

          Airtel Mobile Services — Poor signal and Regular disconnection

          Poor signal and Regular diconnection.
          Hello,
          I am Rakesh Chaudhari, We have two Air tel prepaid mobile connections at home. The probelm is poor signal and frequently disconected the calls.
          I called customer care couple of time also visited the Airtel showroom they also informed that to call cutomer care and they will look in to the matter inspite of 3 to 4 calling to cutomer care still we are facing the same problems.

            I bought a airtel plug and surf modem...it costed me 3500/- and was promised a lot of things like speed of 256kbps...wherein i only used to get the speed of 15kbps....when tried to return the modem and get a refund by reaching to manager level people...no one listened...looking at the fact that companies in INDIA seriously can loot common people...i gave up and stopped using the modem within 10 days of purchase...and still received a bill of somewhat around 1300/-...i still have the modem and feel...which reminds me that i will never ever use AIRTEL ever in my life....plz advise is there anyway i can get refund...

                  I have Deactivate the broad band connection #([protected])
                  on 16-Feb-2011 and return the instrument like modem Telephone at
                  airtel outlet (chandanagar) Hyderabad. and paid the due amount up to
                  16-Feb-2011.
                  because i have been transfered to the banglore location from 16-Feb-2011.i am not statying in Hyderabad
                  why are you sending the bill from 16-Feb-2011 after the deactivation of the connection.

                  I have the request for the cancellation Form that i got at the time of
                  returning the instrument on 16-Feb-2011 and receipt of payment on 12-Feb-2011.As a proof of Deactivation.

                  I will not pay any bills after coming deactivation(16-Feb-2011)

                  please stop the sending bill otherwise i need to take appropriate legal steps of sending unwanted and illegal bill after deactivation from Airtel as a harrashment.

                  Airtel — Bill after de-activation of connection

                  Dear Sir,

                  I was a customer of Airtel broadband.
                  I had an airtel broadband connection with the airtel no[protected].
                  I had paid all my dues in the month of July, 2009 and then called Airtel Customer care to de-activate my broad band connection(ref requesd id: 243352 dtd 4th July, 2009). Since then I am not using the airtel broadband service but my bill for the consecutive months are being generated by Airtel.
                  Sevaral times I talked with airtel customer care executive regarding this issue and they told me that I need not to pay anything. I have following request ids with me[protected].
                  But from last 4 months people from airtel are mentally harrassing me by asking about due amount whereas I don't have any due amount to pay.

                  Please let me know the legal steps and advice from the Indian Consumer Forum so that I can defend myself from the unwanted harrassments by the Airtel Broadband customer representatives.

                  Airtel Broadband — Billing even after Deactivation

                  I availed Airtel Broand band services last year till 5-Aug -2010

                  I have asked for disconnection on 4- Aug-2010 and I have cleared the unbilled amount, They even collected the equipment and gave me the receipt of the same

                  Problem :

                  I am still receiving bills for the Number stated above and when contacted the customer care, they are giving meaningless explanations.How can Airtel generate bill for a deactivated Number.

                  My Earnest request you to solve this issue and need an explanation form the service provider.
                  This is totally lethargic on part of airtel. So far i have mailed several times to [protected]@airtel.in and [protected]@airtel.in. They have opened 2 tickets 38826796 and 38766180 thats it. Till now i havent received any communication regarding solution of this non sense issue.

                  What is happening?

                    AIRTEL (All India Racket & Troop of Ectoparasitic Looters) looted my Rs.480/-on 27.3.2011 from main balance of [protected] in regard to which series of complaints lodged. In response to my 6th reminder one telephone came today on 30.4.2011 at 1717 hrs from the no.[protected] claiming itself a person from corporate office,offered me a charity of Rs100/-in lieu of my genuine Rs.480/-. Initially this offer was of Rs.50/-. In this pattern this charity offer may reach the target of Rs.480/- after 70 th reminder. I wonder how I have been with these people since more than five years ? Despite perennial reqests they are not providing the address of their PIO. Any body reading these lines pl suggest how to move to judiciary against this fraud?

                    Airtel — wrong deduction of Rs.480/-

                    Wrong deduction of more than Rs.480/- from the main balance of [protected] on 27.3.2011
                    Dear Sir/Madam,
                    (1) There is a saying that “History repeats itself”. But it had not become a history at all when airtel had kindly refunded me my Rs.500/-. Even then the same phenomena was repeated today on 27.3.2011 and Rs.480/- appr was deducted from my main balance towards checking e-mails as done in case of earlier deduction of Rs.500/- on 28.2.2011(refunded on 15.3.2011).
                    (2) Today on 27.3.2011 while I started checking my e-mails my internet balance was 70 MB appr and main balance was more than Rs.480/- in respect of my no.[protected] . Suddenly the net was disconnected and my internet balance reduced to ZERO as well as my main balance to 18 paise
                    (3) Then I recharged 50 MB to my another no.[protected] through *222# and writing these lines for perusal of airtel people through this platform.
                    (4) What is happening with my account time and again? Are they playing deduction-deduction?
                    May I hope that immediately my deducted amount Rs.480/- and internet balance 70MB be refunded?

                    In response to my e mail the airtel refused to refund through some Mr D.Karthik to whom I requested again for reconsideration through the mail mentioned below:
                    Dear Mr.Karthik D,
                    1) It was not your money which has been looted and that is why such an unethical, rude and improper reply you have sent to me. I am not aware of your status, competency in the esteemed organisation airtel but at least minimum understanding is expected.
                    2) Mr Karthik, for your kind information it is stated that I had subscribed 2 GB internet for one month (using same thing since 5 years) valid till 10.4.2011.When my internet balance was 70 MB then I started checking my mails and in between the episode happened. If I suppose that in viewing few mails 70 MB was consumed then why not I was disconnected from the net as was done after making a loot of Rs.480/- from my main balance. I had never subscribed for “use & pay” GPRS rather it was a 1 month contract for using 2 GB.
                    3) Running internet through mobile is the very first beauty of airtel. Time & again you go on saying to remove mobile office setting. I have not set it; rather you people had sent it to my mobile. I have already removed other connection settings. Now this is to request that whenever I subscribe to 2 GB it works with so called mobile office very smoothly up to three fourth of the internet balance but the moment it enters into last quarter of the internet balance it attacks on the main balance. Why not it is running right now? Because internet balance is zero. Then why not it was disconnected at the moment when my internet balance became zero. Instead your system attacked my main balance.
                    4) Pl notice one thing that todays all correspondences (more than morning session) have been done in Rs.5/- only even then 41.3 MB are left, out of 50 MB subscribed today through *222# in respect of my no [protected] then why there was a loot in respect of the no.[protected]?
                    5) I hope that you will reconsider my request and favour the justice.
                    6) Moreover, if you are not competent enough, then please forward my request to competent authority and also let me know up to how many days / months / years I will have to beseech for the refund of my genuine Rs.480/-
                    7) If possible, please forward me the name and address of the PIO.

Moreover for the sake of my gratification pl allow me to lodge 480 requests before you people with a hope that some time you will feel that when there was sufficient balance in the account then instead of renewing the month contract of 2GB why the system attacked the main balance? Else it cd have been disconnected.But nothing was done which was profitable to customer rather profit of airtel was looked upon.
                    This is as per my counting 3rd request. Soon I shall be knocking and beseeching with my 4th request.

                    (i) Try to be honest and refund me my genuine claim of Rs.480/-
                    (ii) If my said no. is non contactable then how I have been getting disturbing & unnecessary phone calls (viz y/day on 5.5.2011 at 1700 hrs from the no.[protected] by some Mr.Deepak) repeating only recorded lines that the deduction was correct.
                    (iii)Think on the fact that when I am fully confident that the usage made on 27.3.2011 was only for checking 3-4 mails and at the same time if your record is also true then only possibility is there of tampering which have emerged in my mind by noticing the fact after 27th March I have recharged 2GB 02 TWO times and no irregularity was observed till 0.3MB balance was lying in my account.This may also be due to the fact that you people knew that a particular customer(murgha) is counting his internet balance daily & tampering was now not possible OR due to the fact that poor main balance did not attract you people.

                      no the issue has not resolve yet...i m still unable to open even a basic page such as google quickly... the speed still is below 20 kps its only 2-3 kbps which is too low...for mobile office
                      on top of this the 198 is not taking the complain nor do they are provide the complain number... that is doing the window dressing...

                        I would like to provide you with an entertaining piece of news. Owing to the supposedly lazy Airtel people at the offices of Airtel UP East, there is a serious amount of network congestion in the Hostel and surrounding areas in IIT Kanpur.

                        What is interesting is that since the MNP has come into picture, people are now switching over to other mobile service providers. It is good, isn't it, the lazy people at the Airtel office will have to work less and there would be no pressure on them.

                        I am very happy to mention that people at IIT-Kanpur are now switching over to other services as well. Maybe after some days I will also do the same.

                          i am kumar sheth and vishnubhai patel using airtel billing card [protected]/[protected]/[protected] etc.. in cug plan other was paid instated pf [protected] remaining amt was 4318 due bad condition bill was unpaid, from collection agency some1 called girl name preeti shah was abusing in ph and harrshing to my family and friends making fool using very bad words i want to complain against her and collection agency for doing this task with me and my family member. i need their mailing address after that only bill gonna paid . i have did police complain i have each and every recording with me whatever she spoke with me and my family.

                                Airtel is shaping my torrent traffic without my consent and are not admitting to doing this. Quite frankly speaking I think this is wrong and illegal.

                                I question their ethics and their loyalty to their customers.
                                I had the same issue. I[censored] call up the customer service, hey pretend they have done nothing to block torrent - they blame it on the torrent software. The interesting part is he torrent worked for me for half a day initially before hanging. I think these people have a nightly batch job which looks for torrent activity and only thiose gates are then shut off.
                                On my plan I pay for 6GB of data activity and I should be allowed to use it. Unfortunately these people are so unscrupulous and unethical. I used to have good regard for Airtel Broadband services - but after this torrent episode I have lost regard for them.

                                  I have recently switched to Airtel from Vodafone. The Airtel network seems to be very weak at my home making the cellphone ineffective from any communication. I frequently get no signals, dropped calls, broken voice. This is making it very hard to use Airtel in the locality.

                                  I live in Abhishikta II, kalikapur (9th Floor). Every resident I have talked to has opted out of Airtel due to similar network problems. Can this problem be solved? or do I too have to opt for another network that works here?

                                  I am residing at mankhurd(eastern suburb) here airtel network is so weak that whenever i have to make a call from my cellphone i have to go outside my house and make a call. Its Ok, but whenever my important incoming call come, the network says that my cellphone is switch off, how pathetic it is, my contacts are very important for me and airtel like giant cellphone company show this irresponsibilities than there will be a one day when i am out of my commission agent job.

                                    I receive so many promotional SMS.
                                    I have activated DND Services so many times.
                                    But it never worked.
                                    I receive SMS names as TM-####, TD-#### etc.
                                    I have asked Airtel Customer Care but they never listen instead they always speak in attitude.
                                    Sometime they disconnect the call when they put my call on hold.
                                    I don't know why they do this. They have disconnected my call so many times.
                                    and about DND, it never worked.
                                    I also have sent emails to them regarding this problem on [protected]@in.airtel.com.
                                    they always say it will start working from next week. but for last one year, I'm tolerating bulk SMS Service.
                                    I am so much frustrated, sometime I get so much angry that I through my mobile on the floor.
                                    This is really pathetic and ridiculous.

                                    Please take a serious action, or if this website is just to earn money from ad then shut it down.
                                    because I have complained on this website before also but no action was took.

                                    I agree, I am also having this same issue. The Airtel guys are just fooling around. All they want is you to go away. Or they keep asking for names and content of the messages that you are getting so that they can file a complaint, but nothing happens. The SMS'es are quite sickening. In fact, one day my friend received an SMS that says, if you want to send SMS even if the number is DND then we can help you. This is openly breaking the law.

                                    I wonder if Mr. Sunil Mittal ever uses his own customer service or not. If he did, he would know - that customer service SUCKS!

                                      This is C. Sudha rani, with the airtel digital tv customer Id:[protected] installed in the first week of April, 2011. It has been activated after 3 days from installation, that too making somany calls to dealer and customer care department.The package was at Rs. 1790/- for 7 months. But we are not getting many channels, which have mentioned in the package. I have complained somany times to customer care without taking the complaint number. I thought that they are unable to solve the problem and I want to go to consumer forum for the same. So I called again on 27th April, 2011 to customer care, and taken the complaint number as 7422570, and customer care executive expressed his feeling that I can go to consumer forum if the problem hasn't been solved within 24 hours.. Again I have called on 28th april, regarding the complaint. Same thing has been repeated by customer care department of Airtel Digital TV. I think Airtel digital tv makes life hell really.
