I have a prepaid connection from Airtel. During the time of registration, i opted for the NDNC registration. But after a month of service, suddenly they started making promotional calls to my number and suddenly one day they activated a pack and deduced 2 rs per day making my no. unusable. I mailed them a no. of times for a response but got only auto response. But after more than 10 days,...

My airtel dth is no working since 18.04.2011 and the complaint has been made from time to time on help line and each time they given me request no. and committed to provide service within 24 hrs. but before completion of 24 hrs the sent me massage that ur complaint has been resolved but I never my complaint resolved. They r debiting my account but till date I m waiting to get my problem resolved . According to me AIR TEL DTH is the most worst service provider in our country

      Airtel is shaping my torrent traffic without my consent and are not admitting to doing this. Quite frankly speaking I think this is wrong and illegal.

      I question their ethics and their loyalty to their customers.
      I had the same issue. I[censored] call up the customer service, hey pretend they have done nothing to block torrent - they blame it on the torrent software. The interesting part is he torrent worked for me for half a day initially before hanging. I think these people have a nightly batch job which looks for torrent activity and only thiose gates are then shut off.
      On my plan I pay for 6GB of data activity and I should be allowed to use it. Unfortunately these people are so unscrupulous and unethical. I used to have good regard for Airtel Broadband services - but after this torrent episode I have lost regard for them.

        HI,

        I have recently switched to Airtel from Vodafone. The Airtel network seems to be very weak at my home making the cellphone ineffective from any communication. I frequently get no signals, dropped calls, broken voice. This is making it very hard to use Airtel in the locality.

        I live in Abhishikta II, kalikapur (9th Floor). Every resident I have talked to has opted out of Airtel due to similar network problems. Can this problem be solved? or do I too have to opt for another network that works here?

        AirTel — weak network

        I am residing at mankhurd(eastern suburb) here airtel network is so weak that whenever i have to make a call from my cellphone i have to go outside my house and make a call. Its Ok, but whenever my important incoming call come, the network says that my cellphone is switch off, how pathetic it is, my contacts are very important for me and airtel like giant cellphone company show this irresponsibilities than there will be a one day when i am out of my commission agent job.

        So please it is a request from me sir make your service better and dont lose your respective customer.

        My attitude straight forward is very clear because Airtel is a very giant in indian market and public always have good faith on this company but if you show irresponsibilities in your work than you should make it clear and atleast give a explanation to the people why there is a problem
        My sincere request and suggestion for you is ...Please avoid Airtel...because even I had a issue with it...It doesn't give value to its customers...why to love people who doesn't care us??
        AIRTEL IS THE NUMBER SERVICE PROVIDER IN CHEATING AND NOT IN PROVIDING GOOD OFFERS, NOT IN PROVIDING GOOD SIGNAL QUALITY.
        IT PLAYS WITH CUSTOMERS...ITS A BIG CHEATER...

        Had sent the details promptly to the email address mentioned but what i have received is an automated mailer but no resolution. no one has contacted me about the issue. meanwhile my phone is worthless at home. I'll look for another week and then move to another network which works where it matters. thank god for number portability.

          Hi,

          My number is [protected].
          I receive so many promotional SMS.
          I have activated DND Services so many times.
          But it never worked.
          I receive SMS names as TM-####, TD-#### etc.
          I have asked Airtel Customer Care but they never listen instead they always speak in attitude.
          Sometime they disconnect the call when they put my call on hold.
          I don't know why they do this. They have disconnected my call so many times.
          and about DND, it never worked.
          I also have sent emails to them regarding this problem on [protected]@in.airtel.com.
          they always say it will start working from next week. but for last one year, I'm tolerating bulk SMS Service.
          I am so much frustrated, sometime I get so much angry that I through my mobile on the floor.
          This is really pathetic and ridiculous.

          Please take a serious action, or if this website is just to earn money from ad then shut it down.
          because I have complained on this website before also but no action was took.

          I agree, I am also having this same issue. The Airtel guys are just fooling around. All they want is you to go away. Or they keep asking for names and content of the messages that you are getting so that they can file a complaint, but nothing happens. The SMS'es are quite sickening. In fact, one day my friend received an SMS that says, if you want to send SMS even if the number is DND then we can help you. This is openly breaking the law.

          I wonder if Mr. Sunil Mittal ever uses his own customer service or not. If he did, he would know - that customer service SUCKS!

          I am also having this same issue. My Airtel mobile number is [protected]. I have registered on DND in the fully blocked category and my registration number is S[protected]. Still promotion call and SMS are coming.

            This is C. Sudha rani, with the airtel digital tv customer Id:[protected] installed in the first week of April, 2011. It has been activated after 3 days from installation, that too making somany calls to dealer and customer care department.The package was at Rs. 1790/- for 7 months. But we are not getting many channels, which have mentioned in the package. I have complained somany times to customer care without taking the complaint number. I thought that they are unable to solve the problem and I want to go to consumer forum for the same. So I called again on 27th April, 2011 to customer care, and taken the complaint number as 7422570, and customer care executive expressed his feeling that I can go to consumer forum if the problem hasn't been solved within 24 hours.. Again I have called on 28th april, regarding the complaint. Same thing has been repeated by customer care department of Airtel Digital TV. I think Airtel digital tv makes life hell really.

            every time NOT REACHABLE What is this [censored], , , In my family every one uses AirTel in mobiles i never get not reachable till now...

            And Now 2 MAY 2011 6 AM ...I lost the signal of my AIRTEL DIGITAL TV this is not the first time...

              Worst Customer Care for Pre-Paid clients - It is like a government unit.

              I am having a really bad experience with Black Berry Services on airtel prepaid. I have been wasting 1-2 hours daily on customer care (both 7070 and 198) but no one seems to have a clue as to what needs to be done. So many times people just put me on hold for like 10 minutes before cutting the call. Every time I ask to speak to a supervisor - I am either cut off or put on hold and then cut off.

              Here are the details of my issue:
              - I had my blackberry curve 9300 handset (with number [protected] from Delhi) stolen on 23rd April on which I had Rs. 399 monthly BB4 plan active from the 10th of April
              - I purchased a duplicate sim card and a new blackberry curve 9300 on 24th April. The same day I called up the customer care (both 198 and 7070) - explained them the same and I was told the service will be activated in next 24 hours
              - In the next 24 hours the service is not activated - I call up the customer care again and I am told the same thing. The service will be restored in the next 24 hours. A complaint has been registered with the server team - and they need to activate the service on your new handset.
              - The same story continues on 26th and 27th also - the service will be activated in next 24 hours. Every time I tell them that I am hearing the same response from customer care - I am told that the complaint is escalated and it will deifinitely be solved.
              - On 28th - the cutomer care executive (7070) tells me that If I really want the service to be restored immediately then I should deactivate the current BB services and then reactivate again. This way the services will DEFINITELY work. Based on this suggestion - I deactivate the services and again activate the services leading to deduction of Rs. 399 from my balance. However the services are not restored.
              - I call up the customer care (7070) and they tell me the same story again - The server team need to activate the services and will be done in next 24 hours!!!! This is unbelievable. I was asked to deactivate the services and then activate so that the services will start working immediately!!! This is cheating the customer! Ask them to deactivate and then reactivate the services!
              - I have tried to call the customer care three times today - and asked to talk to a Supervisor. Every time I have been put on hold for 8-9 minutes and then the call is cut!! What is happening in Airtel Customer Care - I am thinking of I should file a complaint against such behavior. So much of my time, effort and money has been wasted since Sunday.

              Sincere advise to all consumers - Please switch to Vodafone or some other Service Provider using number portability option. I am definitely going to do so.

                Hi Sunil Sir,

                2nd Open complaint since 8th,Feb 2011. I had a n issue regarding a refund of Rs.300 which was suppose to be adjusted every month. I called up to discuss the same. The agent was good for nothing ..I asked him to escalate the call to his Manager. He said I am not in a mood and my Manager is not in and started misbehaving. With half an hour I started getting call from Punjab (several PCO and mobile numbers ) Later I discovered that he was the same agent with whom I spoke to in Airtel. He has been very abusive and threatening on call. He had all my personal data which was against the Data Protection Act.

                What are you going to do about it? I haven't heard anything about it till date.

                According to the policy I called up at id-appellate & the illiterate females attenending the calls simply terminated my calls when they did not have the right answers. Please let me know what is the resolution ? Is Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal available to take care of this case personally or not ?

                  PFA the chain mail which I have been writing to your company. No resolution been given till date.
                  Need you to intervene. I have sent the copy of the mails to TRAI & Ministers. You know it well that no one is going to do anything so your agents also behave in a same manner, the way you behave.

                  After listening to the whole story yolur agents reply -- He is unable to find why did I write a mail.
                  (Doesn't it sounds funny ?) That proves that notes are not left on my a/c. Complaints never been marked.

                  Hi,

                  I thought you might be having all the complaints registered on my system.

                  I was in Delhi using the BB service from MTNL & a very satisfied customer. On
                  30th May 2010, when I moved to Noida (Ph:[protected] I got attracted to the
                  IPTV deal and the service was provided to me within no time.

                  Since then, I have gone through nightmares. Most of the time my Broadband was
                  not working. However TV was working..Time to time obstacles were there.
                  Engineer use to visit and it use to work for a time being.

                  Now, its is a torture , On every month after 18th My Broadband stops working &
                  I have to call customer services. They are good for nothing. Either they'll
                  place the call on long hold or terminate the call , if I ask them to escalate
                  the call further to their Supervisor or the Manager.

                  Luckily, I spoke to Mr.Sagar Dubey who was very apologetic, knowledgeable,
                  patient and has promised to reolve the query. He did not terminate my call in
                  the mid & assured to reolve the problem permanently. My complaint is nothing
                  against Mr.Dubey. I wish if Airtel has a team of Sagar Dubey's.

                  However, I have suffered for almost a year now. I have been paying the bills in
                  time without using the services. How are you going to compensate it. What
                  actions been taken till date for not resolving my problem ? Is there anyone in
                  Airtel who can listen to those calls which were hung up on me without listening
                  my query.

                  I had a word with TRAI & the lady asked me to spk to Vikrant Pandey or Imran
                  Khan. However, when I called up the agents picked up the call and they were
                  extremely rude and said they won't escalate the calls further as they are not
                  in.

                  My question is why whenever any customer calls in for their problem why these
                  agents say that the next level is not in the office.

                  What is Mr.Sunil Bharti Mittal is going to do about it ?

                    I applied for the Airtel Broadband connection on 9th of april 2011 in Madhapur, hyderabad. A sales representative came at my home and collected my ID proof xerox, electricity bill, photo along with 1800 rupees for the 3 months charges and promised me that connection would be through till 11th of april.But they failed to get connection to my home even after a week passed , they told about some technical difficulty/hurdle and asked for more time since they need permission to dig the road. but on 16th of april I refused for more time and I asked for the cancellation of the connection and asked my money back. They took my cancellation request but since then I have been waiting for my amount.

                    Please do the needful and return back my amount.

                      Hi,
                      We have fixed landline connection of airtel from last few years with three numbers(4233834/35/36, Account Number:[protected] registered under company, Satyam Software Solutions Pvt Ltd. One of the line[protected] went dead on 13th January 2011(due to some technical fault at airtel's end) and inspite of regular complaints(for which various reference numbers were alloted by customer care department); nobody from airtel took care of it for next two months. I even stopped the February month bill payment in March 2011 for few days so that somebody from airtel will pay attention to my plea and fix the problem so as to get the bill cleared from our side. But on the contrary, they stopped the outgoing services for the rest two numbers also. In late march 2011, airtel's collection department talked to me regarding the bill payments and convinced me that the dead phone lines will be activated in no time & the bill amount for malfunctioned line will be waived off if I pay the bill instantly as it was airtel's year closing and if the case stretched further, they will not be able to help me out as per airtel's "some" policies(Never heard of such policies before). Instead of hearing my grievance for loss of business due to malfunctioned phone line and corresponding unactivated phone lines, they told me that we will not be liable for even the waiver if I didn't pay the bill immediately.

                      As these are my business numbers and I need to continue with the same numbers in future too, I sincerely gave cash payment to airtel on the same day(29 March 2011) and got the "waiver letter" which stated an adjustment of Rs. 1400/- to be reflected in the invoice generated after adjustment date i.e. 29 March 2011. Now the situation is that airtel is asking for the payment of 1400/- as balance from last months bill(February/March 2011, the waived off amount). Even after explaining them the whole story and providing scanned copy of the so called "waiver letter" to airtel's representatives via email: [protected]@airtel.in on 09-04-11 & [protected]@yahoo.co.in on 21-04-11, services to my landline was discontinued from 15-04-11, reason being, non-payment of due amount of Rs. 1400/-.
                      I kept requesting to the airtel representatives that my lines should be activated as the waiver was provided to me last month but to no avail.
                      Even today, I had interactions with representatives of airtel for the issue to be resolved but they again started playing the same game, insisting me to pay the bill amount for last month(March 2011) & then only my request for waiver will be logged and my lines will be activated. I have clearly told airtel representatives that this waiver should have been logged immediately after issuing of waiver letter and my phone lines should not be down just because of this silly reason. I have also assured airtel that I will be paying the bill amount but not before my lines get activated and a suitable compensation provided for the loss of business. On this, the representative at the collection office of airtel said that he will not give any assurance for loss of service & the corresponding compensation and clearly told me to pay the bill so as to log the waiver and activate the phone lines.

                      I hereby want to put this request to the concerned authorities that this service provider is manipulating the consumers on its will. The various departments meant for consumer support and grievances are just to misguide, compel and fool customers at various level so that the consumer doesn't have option other than abiding to airtel's rules & policies which the consumer has no idea. I would like to bring in notice, as these phone numbers are my primary business numbers and due to discontinued services from last 14 days and in the past months, I have incurred a substantial loss of more than Rs. 1000000/- in my business. Pain & suffering due to loss of peace of mind, time and energy in explaining airtel's executives at various levels are of no count and match.

                      Will certainly ask this forum that my request should be heard and proper legal action along with penalties should be levied on airtel. Airtel should also be advised to remove this conspiratorial behavior from its various departments which are meant for customer support and not for fooling & looting people.

                      Will somebody update me, when our landline connection will be activated? Even after paying the bill amount, the services have not been established and the executive above(Mr. Rakesh Ranga) without confirming the actual details has been replying to my post at various forums in the same manner. Is airtel so unorganized that not a single person is able to solve the issue or give an exact time & date for the services to get established along with an appropriate compensation?

                      I strongly condemn this practice of airtel to curb the plea of consumer by posting back such replies.

                      What kind of a LOUSY excuse is that?
                      I hope that your concern is a realistic one as we are in contact with your representatives on daily basis. My personal contact details are been provided to various departments of airtel so that the issue can be resolved ASAP. Airtel is having my contact details from the first day, we had these landline connections established in our premises. Even the monthly bill contains my contact details. I have even left my contact details at all the forums which I have been writing to.

                      Even still if your team is not able to contact me, than I must say that airtel is full of worthless people and it should boast of itself being a number one provider of telecom services. For you information, please find my contact details again:

                        Daily I receive a message from AD-54321 and it states as follows " thanks for downloading pernilla wall 38 from airtel You have been charged rs 99... thanks for using games club subscription service from Airtel. You have been charged with Rs.5. live cricket on mobile tv http://airteltv.co:8080"

                        I tried to call the customer care but he falts refused to refund the amount deducted They are not able to provide me solution, also daily I have to waste 30 minutes in speaking with the Customer Care. Some Customer care officers are not trained properly and they say I have did something wrong, I will then cut the call and try again to the Customer care and get a correct person.

                        Why the Airtel defrauding users?

                        Same thing has happened on my wifes android also and this daily and how much is Airtel earning daily by cheating its customers. Airtel you should be ashamed for doing this.

                        Daily I receive a message from AD-54321 and it states as follows "You have been renewed for ##GamesMania Subscriptionfo subscription service from Airtel. You have been charged with Rs.5. live cricket on mobile tv http://airteltv.co:8080"

                        I have to call the customer care daily and they say it has happened by mistake and refund the Rs.5. But they are not able to provide me a permanent solution, also daily I have to waste 30 minutes in speaking with the Customer Care. Some Customer care officers are not trained properly and they say I have did something wrong, I will then cut the call and try again to the Customer care and get a correct person. I spoke with a SME by name Raghu (he says he is a senior person), but he is fit for nothing, he does not understand what I say and orders me to call customer care daily to get the amount refunded. Mr. Raghu dont you have any sense?

                        Why the Airtel is not training its Customer care officers properly?

                        Since I'm questioning im getting my money back, imagine how many Lakhs of customers would be charged like this daily and how much is Airtel earning daily by cheating its customers. Airtel you should be ashamed for doing this.

                        Daily I receive a message from AD-54321 and it states as follows "You have been renewed for ##GamesMania Subscriptionfo subscription service from Airtel. You have been charged with Rs.5. live cricket on mobile tv http://airteltv.co:8080"

                        I had to call customer care and spoke to first person who says i activated it, but when i was trying to explain i didn't activate anything he says its only my issue. i have activated it. when i asked for manager he put me on hold for 3 min and then disconnected the call.
                        I again called back and spoke to a lady called Renu who does not have a last name. both were not able to speak english or hindi properly, i would say hardly able to speak. She says i am going to some WAP site every day that is why i am getting this message. when i explained i am not going to any WAP sites she puts me on hold and come back after 5 min and says she is taking a complain and will if the issue is from their side they will refund the money for 4 days.
                        When i asked for a complain number she says i will receive it by sms. Which i have not received so far.

BTW A person named Manoj contacted me on 02nd May 2011 and promised that he will get back in 24 - 48 hours with a solution, till this minute I have not heard from him.

                        I haven not got any solution yet, but your company is taking Rs.5 out of my pocket every day without my permission or concern. And you know, what they call taking money without permission as? Are you people trained enough to solve the customer problems? I doubt.

                        I have just 2 questions to close this

                        1) What is Mauj services? I have never heard of anything like this
                        2) Airtel has been debiting amount from my prepaid account on its own. I have been refunded only for some of the wrong debits, what about the remaining amount that has to be refunded to me? will it get refunded or ...?

                        Please dont cheat people like this and steal money from them. I think customer care officers are innocent and the Airtel server has been designed to cheat the people. AIRTEL DOWN DOWN!!!

                          But after 2 days she was not picking up call and then I complained to 121 customer service and my ref no are 29789864 but not get good response



                          I got call from no [protected] and her name what she told Is NEHA and calling from malad office. And the executive came to my place his name is ANIL.

                          And he gave me airtel customer copy and he signed on that.

                          please suggest me on ths matter ASAP

                          just recently i had started using Airtel number though i took that sim card few months back. day before yesterday i contact to the customer care about my plain & tariff , & after that i was interested to Airtel to Airtel economic plain for night time & that gentle man guided me that i have to make promo @ 33 INR. & that will be call charge night 11 to morning 6 (IST) it will be charged @1INR=20 mnts during that specified time & it will be cut down from my main balance. yesterday i made that promo & after that i put 20INR topup. after that midnight i am going to avail that facility but it wont works . so i contact CC executive Mr Nimai Bor & i explained him all things & then he told me there is that type promo & then i asked him that's mean my promo was not activated & he agreed that my promo is activated but might be by mistake they cut down money from my main account so i need to talk with their Supervisor. then he connected me to his superior Mr Debesh Saha. & Mr Saha told me that as i am carrying other promo so i cant avail that @33 INR promo , then i told him i asked day before yesterday CC executive that what is my current plain & what will be economy for me if i am going to talk Airtel to Airtel at the mid night & he guided me to go promo @33. i informed to Mr Saha politely so why i dint avail that promo?? Saha explain me 1000 of things in a nice way & of course he is trying to be very smart & he told me i have any other promo so i cant avail this, i told him ok I am agree but can you tell me why 2 days back your CC executive misguided me?? then Mr Saha told I am not asking him details that i have any other promo going on so for that CC executive might be forgot to inform me that @33 promo will works if i have any other promo. then i told Mr. Saha that i had asked that CC executive whats my current plain & then he told he my current plain after that i asked him what will be Airtel to Airtel economic plain for night time & then he guide me. after that Mr.Saha i guess dint get any handy excuse so Mr Saha provide me [protected] & this is for nodal officer & i can contact him morning 9.30 to 5.30 so he can solve my problem or i can mail that nodal officer. so this is my Experience.


                          so my conclusion/Bottom line is..... I have never seen such worse customer care services in my life.Airtel is a fraud company.They only believe in selling their product but not in providing services to their customers

                            Yes Airtel is making this kind of fraud. It is just a way of making money to them out of 100 customer only 10 customer will check for all this kind of messages. what about another 90 customer without knowing to them airtel will be taking 5Rs every day.

                            Same thing happen to me also, Airtel deducted 30 Rs from my account without my knowledge.When i call the customer care they reply saying that it happen by mistake. I dont know how it will happen by mistake.

                            Airtel make this mistake to earn money.

                            My question is why they should not pay for their mistake? When we delay paying the bill by mistake we are paying the fine of 100Rs. Why there is a difference between customer and service provider.

                            Let Airtel also pay for their mistake. Let them pay stolen amount * 100 as a penalty.

                              I have requested Airtel DTH to close the connection and refund the balance amount Rupees 959 in my account [protected] last month. They have done CPE recovery on 03/04/2011 after following up with them for 30 days. Even after CPE recovery they have not refunded my money. Am following up with them daily basis, there is no response to emails, service request are being closed down without being resolved. Its one of the worst service providers. Request the authorities to refund my money at the earliest.

                                Dear All,

                                It comes with a lot of grief as the patience I displayed, Airtel was truly unworthy of the same. I hold a number 88..226...(You can know the two numbers I complain about thru the complaint number as its unsafe to put them on a public forum) I had visted the Airtel office and met Mr Nand Kishore with all the below mentioned problems and he was supposed to revert back to me by 8th April Thats the next day with a solution. As they had not creditted back the amount I had paid in the initial(500 rs). I called three times to Mr Nanad Kishore on 8th, which you can also check in the gemntleman's call log, but neither did he honour his commitment, nor did he call back. Then Mr Saurabh Kumar, one of my aquaintance working with Airtel who had met me when I was talking to Mr Nandkishore, called me as I had called him after calling nandkishore and tried offering me a solution. He said that 200 rs will be immediately creditted and then 100 each will be creditted every month. When I asked that I want to speak to Jyoti, to whom nandkishore reports, he suggeted he will be able to give the solution. Trusting the same, he offered me to give an immediate discount for the mistake Airtel had committed in not paying me back my 500 rs., he offered 200 rs discount immediately and 100 each for 3 months which follow. Not satisfied with the solution as i did not trust AIRTEL, i agreed as he was an aquaintance. With the problem with the other number, he told me he will take around 4-5 days to revert, I agreed, and I waited. It has been 20 days and I have no response nor any communication. I paid the previous bills on both numbers, as directed, and as 88..226... was on dispute I reduced the amount which was on discount and paid, but accidentally i miscalculated and still paid more, The disputed amount was 602, and what I did not pay was 457 or so, as it was disputed. I was getting conactant calls from Airtel on the number from gurgaon and I told them thats its in dispute and I am still awaiting a response.

                                Yesterday I recieved my Bill intimation on my cell, which said that my bill is 544. Now when I felt it was more as the calling i did did not exceed 390, i called them up for clarification. I realise that I have recieved 135 rs as discount, which comes with the freedom 249 plan and still did not get the discount of rs 100 which was promised to me. When I asked them as why did I not get it, they say, there is still no mention of the deposit amount paid. Why? When I gave you all details and still there is no update, do i have to fight everymonth now to get my own money. When i asked him in what section was the 200 rs dicount given last time, he said that it was for custmer loyalty and to oblige me but is no where mentioned that it was for the return of the 500 rs I paid in security deposit. lodged a new complaint no 37150970 with my shazad alam. (I have a recording of the conversation, if you wish, i can send it across to you, and it is a customer call where the customer care wasted 1 hr and still no solution)

                                I really do not know how the organisation is run and what filthy customer cheating practices you might follow, I am tired, agonised and over with facing such trauma with Airtel. I want that my 500 rs that i paid in the initial, be refunded to me Immediately, I am not willing for a month to month adjustment.

                                With my another number 88..226..., I am still to get a revert, and no details have been given till now. I am not going to pay the charges for a service I have not used. The reversal of Rs 602 has still not happened, after repeated reminders, Visiting your ofiices, showrooms, wasting my precious time, wasting fuel, causing mental stress...and the list of damage is endless.

                                Kindly do not send me auto generated mails, I want people to write mails readin everything. There is a chain of trailing mails, and I guess there would be someone in the airtel who would care for the company, and not like to run away from responsibilities(like all I have met till now), and hence will read it all and can solve.

                                Bharti Airtel — Airtel not providing receipts for prepaid recharges

                                Airtel outlets in Ahmedabad have stopped giving receipts for the cash they accept form the customers towaards Prepaid recharges.

                                They say that we provide sms confirmation for the transaction..and that's it, no receipts/tax invoice are provided as they have a rule not to provide the same.

                                The complaint has been put on 121 and also to Nodal officer Mr. Keyur karia's and also with appellate officer Niti Sharma's office.

                                How is this possible that Airtel is accepting cash from customers and not giving Tax invoice/cashsale reciept for the same.

                                It seems that Airtel is doing cash business and not reporting teh same to tax authorities and generating a lot of Black Income.
                                They have finally provided the receipt.
                                Remember, It is cool for stand up for your own rights. Read the article in the Sunday times 2 weeks prior or so, regarding the Anna Hazare Movement.
                                Companies who make false promises and who dupe, we should stand against them, together. Spread awareness, spread light.
                                This chalta he attitude results in pulling us back. We work to earn for us not to fill pockets of cheating companies and corrupt people.
                                I know that a lonely stone gathers no mass, but together, we can bring down the biggest of cheating companies. Together we can make a difference.
                                I completely agree, Airtel is a company which does dupe people like this. I read your whole mail. Too long, but shows the whole picture. The fact is they also tell you to go to consumer court if you do not find answers or solution, because they know such act either does not occur from customer's side, or if it does, it is going to take a long time in our judiciary.
                                They have 1 cr customers, even if they charge 1 Re a day from them without knowing or in some miscellaneous head, they earn 1cr, which goes in their pocket. Rather 1Cr is the number of people who took Airtel till date, I guess lot would have left it by now.
                                Their VAS team has targets to achieve, and so they do charge here and there extra to keep filling Airtel's pocket, thats their job.
                                The best way is that you forward this mail to all your friends and tell them to keep forwarding ahead. When more people know of it, they will understand every time 1 Re or 2 Rs or any amount is charged extra, where is it going. This will help them take either take MNP or close the number.
                                This will also help more people, as they wont be fooled by AIRTEL as they will prefer other telecom providers over this cheating company.
                                PS: This is a post of 1st May which I could not feed here. Post of 3rd may is just about to come.

                                Friends another discovery!!, The customer care had asked me time till
                                4th may to revert on this. I got two calls on Friday but could not
                                pick up due to being involved in some other work. Remember, one does
                                not know it is the customer care number. There were msgs too that we
                                had called you from x number regarding your complaint but as we could
                                not get thru you we will call back. The msg was sent twice as the call
                                was also twice. In evening when I got free from my work, I called the
                                cust care and told them to call me anytime as I am free now. The
                                gentleman said that my complaint is closed because I did not pick the
                                phone. So here the complaint does start on your request but closes on
                                theirs, not on to your satisfaction. I asked this senior person to
                                open my complaint and keep it open till I tell them to close it, means
                                till I receive a solution. On Saturday whole day I do not receive a
                                call and I call to check up on 198 and a senior person tells me that
                                the complaint was closed, and raises another complaint. So even though
                                I telling the customer care guy and he confirming that he will keep
                                the complaint open it never actually happened. It is good that I
                                record all their conversations, else they can any day refute and say,
                                we never said this!! It is a complaint made on 31st march and a month
                                has passed but no resolution. I am so pissed with the organization
                                that I will deactivate(or take MNP to Vodafone or Tata docomo) 3
                                airtel numbers and 2 airtel DTH connections that run in our home if I
                                do not get a solution by their committed date. How can pvt sect
                                organization be so lethargic and un professional.

                                Just writing two lines of apology does no good, I have gone thru this agony and stress since March. Yesterday noon an executive/manager Kunal called and said he will resolve the problem. He asked me the details again and said he will refund the Rs 500 by evening and will call me once the money is being refunded to my account. He took a time till evening yesterday, I still await if there could be any response(The conversation is recorded).
                                I also recorded conversation with the Airtel Office Owner from whom I took the connection where he clearly states that the 500 rs that I had deposited is not reflecting because of some error, and he will make sure he will pursue and get me back my money.
                                My question is, It is my money that I deposited, I have been asking for it for more than a month now, How long should a person wait for his own money? Why cant they listen to the customer when he says he has not used a service and he has been charged wrongly, cant they see the credit history of the client, whether he has paid all bill on time or not: when he has done till now, why not now, cant they see their own fault in it?

                                Not just that, is the system so paralysed that it takes more than a month to resolve queries. Is no one except the top management not capable of solving a customer's problem. And if so, we should try getting Mr Mittal's number, and should only call him to resolve our queries.

                                I hope you are taking a note of the same Mr Ranga, I would like to see the promptness of your response. The request is, I have gone thru enough agony, stress and pain for more than a month(and I know that Airtel is not a customer delight provider that it would go out of the way to please it, coz let me be honest, if it does, I will surely mention that too here, I mention good as good and bad as bad), If the queries cannot be solved, then do let us know soon so that we can take necessary actions.

She said there is no activation fees reflecting on their system(I have the recorded conversation as the proof). So that means I will have to fight for this number again, to get back 500 rs. I lodged a complaint and she gave me a complaint number 37219545. It was deposited at Airtel Showroom at Kiran Path Chauraha, Kiran Path, Mansarover to Mr Naresh wh is the owner(His number is already mentioned in the comlaint) with the customer relationship form 18823.

I am not going to fight again for this number too, I need a refund of this number now.                                   I have been given Airtel DTH connection with recorder on 28.04.2011 after very painful/agonising experience from your organisation. The installation was promised on 22.01.2011 and after vigorous followup by me it was at last installed on 28.04.2011.
                                  After the installation to my surprise I am finding that the transmission is of very very poor quality. The channels are very blurred and is worst than local Cable operators distribution signal. The installation person has informed that the transmission quality will be of what I am getting. If this is the case then what is the use of taking DTH connection from your company. All other operators are giving very much better quality as is seen by me with my neighbors in my apartments who are using Tata Sky, Dish TV,Big TV. Some of the channels to name a few like NTV, ABN,NICK,SVBC,Gemini News, Gemini Movies, Subhavarta and many of other channels are not shown and these channels are getting stucked up and the set top box does not respond to any channels after this. Again and again the Set top box is to be restarted by switching off the power to the box.
                                  I am also not given HD Cable along with the set and the installation person has informed that it is not available with him and after receiving the same he will be providing it. The Set top box being a HD equipment, I am amused that the pre requisite of supplying of HDMI Cable in order to watch HD channels is not met and what is the fun of having taken a HD Recorder, which only your company has to understand/explain. As promised while booking the connection, the HDMI Channels have not been activated and the message that the channels are blocked message is coming if we try to view the HD Channels.
                                  I request you to immediately rectify these errors of transmission and see to it that the quality which is expected of a DTH TV is made available to me. If for any reason you are not able to maintain or provide me the quality of DTH transmission as being advertised by your company through various modes and is not up to the industry standards I think I have every right to return the connection and take the full refund from you for not being able to give the required quality of service.
                                  Hope you will resolve the issue on top priority today itself.

                                    I am airtel customer from last year. I am R.K.Choudhary from Jharkhand,my mob. no. is [protected]. The problem is that from the two months ago my mobile balance is deducting regularly even i have not activated anything.sometimes it deduct Rs30,sometimes Rs20,sometimes Rs10.........and sometime in made negative balance........... and so on. And now generaly it deducts Rs30 without providing me any information.I have complained about it in the call center but no any steps have been taken.Even then I called to the customer care and he also not received any call and if received,then cut my call latter.Is this a method to treat any customer????? this is not good.so please see to this problem and take some steps.if this problem would not get solved in few days then i'll leave this sim and would start using another.And one more thing return my all money back.Almost Rs100 has been deducted from my mobile balance.It is very shameful..

                                    I have never subscribed to Airtel dada service, portfolio service but the service provider is activating those services and charging 35 rs per day though i have complained several times to Airtel customer care .my mobile no is [protected]

                                    Airtel — Balance Cutting Problem

                                    I am an airtel prepaid customer for the last 3 years. My name is Priyanka Shrivastava and my airtel prepaid number is [protected].
                                    On sunday at 10:27 pm,[protected] I checked my balance and found that my account was deducted of Rs. 30/-.
                                    So I called up 198 for registering my complaint and found out that one of the Airtel Service “Airtel Astrology Services” was activated on my phone without my consent. The request reference number for the same is CBDAS [protected]. The customer care executive told me that he is going to transfer my call to his senior executive and then call is droped,i tried a lot bt could not make another call with customer care executive again and i found that suddenly there was no option for making call with executives.

                                    For no fault of mine and not subscribing for that service as above my account has been deducted of Rs. 30/- without my consent.
                                    I also sufering with same problem with my another airtel no [protected].

                                    Sir, I am writing this email to you to reach a solution to my problem which is unknowingly burdened on me.

                                    A weekly subscription was activated on my mobile no. [protected]. I called to customer care they told me that they can not give money back but they will stop this service. I said ok stop this service but after a week they cut my balance again and my call was disconnected when i call on customer care.then i called using my friend mobile and they told they will stop service but it is running till now and on 16.02.2011 this is 3rd time when my balance is cut. This weekly subscription is of Rs. 20. By compliming many times they refund once but did not deactivated this till now.

                                    that firstly i'm unable to contact airtel customer care whether to dial 198 or 121 there is no announcement of talking with customer care n call get disconnect.
                                    second problem is this that my balance is getting decrease since last three days with 30 paisa and sometimes with 50 paisa
                                    while i have no any active service on this number.
                                    sir i'm sick n tired o[censored]sing airtel....
                                    i want my money back otherwise i'll never use airtel. please help me to tell me why is this being done only with me..

                                    Idea — Deducted mob.balance.

                                    I am an IDEA customer from last FIFTEENTH months. I,RAVINDRA KUMAR CHOUDHARY at Bokaro from Jharkhand, my mob. no. is [protected].The problem is that from the 12th months ago my mobile balance is deducting regularly even I have not activated anything. Sometime it deduct Rs30,sometimes Rs20,sometimes Rs15 and also Rs 15 had been deducted on Dated 10th May. without providing me any information. Since tiIl about Rs.300 had been deducted from my mobile balance. I have complained about it in the customer care, but no any steps had been taken. Is this a method to treat any customer????? this is not good. So please see to this problem and take some steps. If this problem would not get solved in few days then I'll leave this sim and would start using another. And one more thing return my all money back.It is very sharmefull.

                                    you have not called me once after submitting complaint then i used this sim regularly but i done no balance to it then after in June month i gave this sim card my brother devendra and now on he is using this sim but keeping low balance because of this deduction problem.


                                    now i am using tata docomo and i am happy.

                                      dear sir,
                                      please register my complaint my mobile no.[protected].im facing problem from 3 days date is 26 april 2011.regarding activation of cricket awithout requst daily.i always call customer care they deactive the service then its automatically active and now im not able to use customer care too.im not fool that i waste 3 to 4 hour to connect airtal customer care and if it picked nobody give responce.
                                      if you do not do any thing regarding my problem then i want to portable my connection from airtal to aircel.
