Prepaid Balance theft By Airtel by automatically activating AL friends chat service

Dear Nodal Officer,
I,m the customer of Your Airtel prepaid No. [protected].I had register my no. in your DND service and a month ago airtel had automatically activated AL Friends Chat service at my no. and starts deducting Rs 30 pe sms. I had complained several times on your customer care but they said they will look into this matter and disconnect my call.Today Airtel has deducted Rs.10 from my prepaid Balance eventhough my balance was Rs. 1.83 only.and send the SMS stating that My chat service has been renewed.When i checked my balance it was Rs. -8.83 (minus Rs. 8.83).So pls look into this matter and disable all the addon services that has automatically been started by Airtel itself on my No.and Return all my prepaid balance that your co. has taken.

Airtel — theft of balance by service provider

Dear Sir,
I am T.V.Bhaskara Chary. I am a customer to airtel having mobile number [protected]. My service provider is daily deducting rs 5/- in my account without any intimation. when I requested for the last 5 transactions I came to know that they are cutting the amount for some games club membership. I dont know waht type of service is that. Even they are not intimated me that I have been charging Rs5/- per day. till today I have been charged Rs. 30/-. If I havent noticed this they may cut all my balance out. In return they are not giving any service in this regarding.
I am humbly requesting you to take necessary action to give back my balance back.

    This is Ravichandran, B. ([protected]) from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

    Last week I got a call from a mobile number saying that "Hi I am Jeeva (Tamil Actor), would you like to talk to me ........" I disconnected that call and doing my work. After 5 mins I have received a message saying that "Rs. 15 is deducted for the activation charges...".

    I called your customer care no 121 and after many difficulties i was able to talk to your "officer/staff". I have explained her everything and she replied that "sorry we can't refund your amount since you have activated something..." I have requested her to stop all these nonsense calls & message, she said that she will be de-activate all these with in seven days.

    And yesterday[protected] I have got a call from[protected] this number when I was riding I could not pict up the call. After sometime I called back to that number, call was picked but no response, so i disconnected the call after 10-15 seconds. I have got a message saying that "last call charge is 10/-......"
    AGAIN I called your CC no 121 and AGAIN many difficulties I got your officer/staff called "Saranya". I have told her everything she replied me we do not have any records for that........... I asked her to give it some other higher "Officer/staff" she passed the line to "Supervisor Deepa" AGAIN I explained all the stories she said we do not have any records now but we will be able to tell you the reasons by today before evening. I got a mss from 121 "thank u...... reference no CBDCC[protected]"

    NO FURTHER STEPS/ACTIONS TILL NOW!!!!! I do not want to write you harshly. I know these are the tactics doing by the Airtel company to get the money from the customers and when the customer ask for any questions/enquiries AIRTEL officer say something else. For that also you are charging the customer!!!!.

    Please take necessary steps/action and refund my amount (15+10) 25/- rupees as soon as possible.

      Sir/Madam

      This is regarding my attempt to Port Out my Mobile no. from Airtel to Vodafone.

      I am trying to port out my airtel mobile no.[protected] from airtel to vodafone since 4 months. Initially they rejected my port out due to false claim - that i asked them to do it. But I DID NOT DO SO.
      Then, I called customer care to resolve the query. They asked me to resolve it by sending an SMS to 121. But that SMS was actually for CANCELLING the port-out request. I was fooled by the executives again.
      All this happened in Feb, 2011.

      Then I contacted the Appellate Officers but they also have taken 3 months to simply port out my number. They delay my calls, suddenly disconnect my call, never follow-up, give reasons of technical faults mostly, Always say that its not their concerned department, keep me on hold for a very long time, and always ask me to apply for a new port-out form.
      IT IS VERY FRUSTRATING.

      Over past 3-4 months, I have talked to the following persons in Airtel-Appellate Office:
      Anuradha, Piyush, Nidhi, Kunal, Sanchita and Rituraj.

      They always ask me to repeat the same story again. I am totally fed up.
      These people are not able to SIMPLY PORT OUT MY NUMBER, inspite of being the higher authority of the company.
      They give false suggestions and only delay the matter.

      I request you to kindly look into the matter immediately.

        I have bought 3G usb modem from a shop. I have invested Rs. 1908/- For 3G modem & around 109 for Activation. I have been told that you will get speed around 256 kbps. and after lounch 3g you will gate 3.6 mbps But now I am getting speed which is shown by modem is:- maximum-56 to 92kbps (Few minutes in hours o[censored]se) Minimum- 0 to 12kbps (maximum time of the day) Average- 6kbps (the average speed after use for a hour).airtel not having customer complaint portal.

          This is with reference to landline no :[protected], a broadband service is associated with this number and the internet was not working from past 2 days, more than 48 hours, one can feel the heat o[censored]navailability of internet for more than 2 days.

          From past 2 days i have called the customer care for more than 20 times and spent around 30min for each call, but still its not resolved.

          Tried calling nodal officer, but it was a waste of time as i couldnt connect to him even after calling him more than 6 times.

          Unfortunately i could see there was only one technical guy running around entire R.T.nagar area and he doesnt know any technicalities and bluffing around. my office will be closed by 6:30 everyday, but unfortunately i could see one executive updating the status as the issue was resolved after attending our place at 8:30 in the night.

          No one could help me with this and the issue is still pending, with we wasting 2 days without any work as we are into web development, one can understand the problem without internet.

          I seriously dont know wr to complaint or what to do, Please do someone help me, Final conclusion is i lost hopes on AIRTEL (One of the leading telecom serv ice provider with very good reputation)

          Airtel Broadband Connection — Internet not working even we submitted the fee

          Hello Sir/Mam,
          i had given Rs1500 for airtel wi-fi new connection on 16 sep 09 to airtel agent Mr. Deepak by hand cash......But he submitted d check to airtel and after one week check was bounced and connection is disconnected.....We talked to Mr. Deepak and airtel engineer and airtel officer Mr. Parvesh of mohali......
          But no one is giving response to our connecting internet connection.....its now 48 hrs passed dat no one in airtel is listening to us,,,,,,,and i m sick of airtel service.....Please help me sir,,,,,,

          Airtel Broadband — Internet not working even after 2 complaints

          Hi Sir/Madam,

          "No rpoper installation done"

          The Airtel Connection was given to me after repeated complaints to the Local Area manager in Koramangala (Bangalore) and had a lot of difficulty after paying the amount in cash.
          After paying for the full installation charges; i was promised that connection will not create any problem. but since last three weeks i have used my internet only for 3 days.

          Its been a really frustrating situation for me as currently my exams are going on and even after 2 complaints my internet connection is not working.

          It seems that the complants are not taken seriously. In that case please disconnect the same and refund the amount immediately.

          Please act against such fools who bring bad new to the company.

            I am using Airtel broadband high-speed internet plan. It’s a 4MBPS plan (Impatience 1399) which comes for around 1500 Rs. /month (including all the taxes) I am a regular bill payer too.
            My AIRTEL land line number for this broadband connection:[protected]
            This plan has one limitation that if the user crosses 25GB download limit the internet speed automatically reduces down to 256KBPS for the rest of the month, which is very slow as compared to 4MBPS.
            Complaint number for billing cycle 26th April to 26th May: 868880 (current month)
            Complaint number for billing cycle 26th march to 26th May: 868880 (last month)
            Both complaints still not resolved though issue being the same every month
            For last 2 months I used 4MBPS speed for only 10days (26th march 2011 to 30th march 2011 i.e.5days and 26th April 2011 to 1st may 2011 i.e. 5days) and I am paying Rs.1500/month for 4MBPS connection but in reality I am using only 256kbps speed very slow internet from 26th march 2011 to 5th may 2011. Just because of some technical issue in AIRTEL system.

            Now my complaints against AIRTEL are as follows
            1. My speed was reduced before I cross this 25GB limit. It’s happening for past 3 months out of which 2 months I lodged a complaint but did not get any solution from AIRTEL.
            2. I took this matter to Nodal desk last month they promised this will not happen again still I am facing the same problem this month.
            3. Customer care executives are so irresponsible at AIRTEL they don’t even bother to call back even if they say that they will. Every time I have called back to AIRTEL customer care. In fact many times in last 2 months my complaint was marked as resolved without my concern or without making sure that the customer is satisfied with the solution or not.
            4. AIRTEL people do not understand what my problem is, they are just considering this as a limited quota of download exceeding case and they are just ignoring the case BUT I AM SURE THAT IT’S A BIG TECHINICAL PROBLEM IN THE AIRTEL SYSTEM.

            I got there auto generated mail saying you have crossed the quota on 1st May 2011 but till that day I had downloaded only 15GB.On Airtel.in website when I login I can find out how much MB of data I have downloaded there I can see a day to day log of downloaded data and it shows I have not crossed the limit of 25GB till today (5th may 2011) but I got the mail saying I have crossed the limit on 1st may 2011 itself and my speed is reduced since that day. I have kept all the airtel.in information in a picture format which can explain how there system is showing that I have not crossed the 25GB limit. (Please see the attachment) Last month same thing happened I got mail on 30th march saying I crossed the limit of 25GB but when I checked on Airtel.inmy account I found that I have not crossed 25GB limit.
            I confirmed this with airtel customer care executive Mr.satish pani yesterday that this information is proper or not so he confirmed that whatever data of download has been shown on the airtel.in site is completely true and we can trust on that information. He also said that someone will call tomorrow from airtel and they will solve this problem. I got a call from[protected] Mr. Kishore gudhekar today morning at 9.15am (date 5th may 2011) I explained my complaint to this guy again because he was in the impression that this is just quota exceeding case but when I explained him the problem he straight away said I can’t help you with this and you mail nodal desk but I have already did that so he just disconnected the phone. To my surprise when I later call airtel help line I came to know that this careless person marked my complaint as resolved. When I had a talk again with customer care at aitel, Mr. kander Trivedi reopened my complaint and said that I will get a call back within 4 hrs but I really don’t trust AIRTEL now…

            I tried calling many time to this number in different times of the day but still nobody picks this phone.
            Last month once I got lucky and some female picked up the phone at nodal desk I explained my problem to her again from the start (NOTE: I guess they don’t mention the problem when a complaint is pending they just put it aside) and I asked for an apology letter if it’s the problem from AIRTEL side. She agreed that it’s a problem from AIRTEL side but she denied my request to give me a letter of apology from AIRTEL instead she said I’ll put a mail saying this was AIRTEL’S mistake and this will not happen in future. I dint get any mail from her and sadly just next month I am facing the same issue and my speed is down to 256KBPS.
            I have placed many mails to nodal.[protected]@airtel.in but from their side too I see no efforts to solve this issue.

            I am fed up of calling such worst customer care of AIRTEL which includes the NODAL desk and the irony is for such irresponsible and careless customer service they even charge me for every customer care call too!!!!

            Please help me.

            Airtel Broadband — reduction in high speed without use

            high speed of broad band is reduced without use of given range i.e' 10GB every month which is serious concern. Request look into the matter at the priority please and convey the remedial measures taken in respect.

              my name is abdulsafeer and ma mobile no.is [protected] i hve been using airtel network for past 3yrs as der s no network coverage in our remote area i had decided to change to idea network during that interval one of airtel executive named as shreedar from bagalkot with a mobile no.[protected] contacted me and promised me saying that he wll sort out the network problem within 3days and asked me stay in current network trusting to his word i cancelled my port in request but nw he is escaping from his word by saying that ders server problem. nw im n dilema i hereby request plz to take strict action against such executives nd sort out my network problem so that common man like me wll not lose trust in Indias no.1 network. i hope that ma request wll be granted

                have been registering complaints for[protected] since past a year and consectively since past 4 days..but all in vain coz non get resolved....
                my bills are not being delivered to my address or mail id so i do not know my outstanding or due date, still have been paying bills according to the last ddate on the last bill recievd..aftr many complints my address is still the old one..
                my phone is not working, it is without dial tone sinc 6 mnths but all complaints falling deaf on AIRTEL CONSUMER SERVICES...
                my networ is disconnected due to non payment of bills whch i have been paying regularly evry mnth since past 4 years,not a single bill missed its payment, an today no payment is d reason cited for disconnectiong services.
                AIRTEL TROUBLES ITS CUSTOMERS AND ITS CALL CENTRE PEOPLE HAVE NO RESPECT WHILE DEALING WITH ITS CUSTOMERS..
                they say openly i[censored] want to continue wid us , ok or else u can switch to other networks, do not bother us.

                  I stay in an apartment, and your CC agent doesnt know about this (strange)

                    Dear Sir,
                    I want to know that who gives the right to the telecom companies to forward any customers personal details to any other stupid companies who starts disturbing us 24 hours by sending "SMS" and VOICE CALLS. I am having a Airtel number [protected], everyday im receiving more then 30 sms and voice calls. I tried to connect to airtel customer care but there also they just start their pre-recorded computerized massage regarding their stupid plans and then disconnect the call without transferring the line to the customer care executive. i have sent a mail to [protected]@in.airtel.com also, i have sent a sms also by typing " START DND" to 1909 but there is no response.

                    Now it seems like i have done a crime by taking a airtel connection. i am frustrated with this.

                    Iam still getting promotional offers from AIRTEL even registering in DND service before ONE YEAR.
                    please take necy actions immediately to stop all kinds of promotional offers from AIRTEL.
                    I frequently get a PRE RECORDED computerised call from AIRTEL inviting OFFERS. pl stop these as soon as possible.
                    You can send sms "START DND" (without quotes) to 1909 - it has worked for me (i have airtel prepaid)

                    It is very annoying. After sending START DND to 1909 the reply states that the promo messages will stop only after 45 days. This is the heights of incompetance.

                    The un-wanted calls and SMSs are not stopping.
                    Over 65 SMSs and numerous tele-sales calls have already harassed me since my last telephonic complaint as noted above.

                    Changing my telephone no is not a viable solution.

                    Urgent help is requested.

                      I am not sure this is just my observation...this is my 8th complaint in a row in just 3 months after porting my number. I recharged and no benefit credited. Second I enquired about some recharge and they informed different benefits of GPRS what is present in actual. It is a total loss of Rs. 300 at my three mobile numbers. Also i lost my patience when i sent a sms to port my numbers and didnt get any UPC code when i tried porting all three Airtel numbers. Believe me dont ever choose AIRTEL.                       It is highly pathetic and shameful..that still I didnt get any resolution of my money that i lost in recharges. You people are such a shame on such a nice group of Bharti. Also TRAI has recently announced that customer complaints are highest with AIRTEL. That's why major banks especially ICICI also removed your company from prepaid mobile recharge seeing that you don't refund in case of no recharge.
                      You people proving yourself cheaters.. Don't you shame on yourself by writing that you have resolved the problem. Can you explain what resolution you made till now? It is highly sad to tell all AIRTEL users that you are with one of the most corrupt and fraud company. I am porting the number out.

                        Hi Sir/Madam,

                        I got a airtel connection from Gurgaon, Hariyana. My number is [protected].
                        I activated Mobile office service after recharge with 98 Rs. (for 2 GB) and requested for automatic renewl of this service (each month). I also got message from Airtel for same and used internet in April 2011. Now again I got the message (at 3rd May) that your service will be activate automatically within 72 hours if you will have the appropriate balance.

                        I had 156 Rs of balance so, today I should have the Mobile office service activated and the balance of 58 (deduction of 98 for Mob. Office Service) but as per now I don't have a single Rs. of balance as well as service is also not activated.

                        I tried a lot of times (7 times in 2 dyas) to contact customer care representative, but either they disconnect the line or misbehave with me.

                        I totally fed up with this type of irresponsible behavior and I don't have any option.

                        I hope some action will be taken against this and i can access the mobile office with proper balance in my account.

                        I also want some punishment for responsible person and company (Airtel).

                          will dey pay attention to that....

                          i think companies are short of revenue, datys why dey r generating it thru illegal ways...:P
                          nd also speed of Airtel GPRS coonection, my god, amazing speed.....
                          just 500-600bytes/sec.....
                          r they providing GPRS service of 19th century or wat.....nd please tell me where to complaint bout all of above....???

                            I am Chirag Bodar. I purchased a new SIM on 12-Apr-2011. I have submitted my duly filled application along with all required documents/photo.

                            Airtel barred outgoing calls for my number without any communication or intimation (probably on 29th or 30th April). I came to know about barred outgoing calls only when I needed to make an outgoing call which is on 2-May-2011. I did recharge on the same day 2-May-2011 (curiously which was allowed without any problems). I called up their customer care immediately on same day (2-May-2011). Airtel told me to submit address proof related documents again. Reference number for this conversation is CWBAR[protected].

                            I went to Airtel office on 3-May-2011 (Opp. Jayadeva hospital, Bangalore). Airtel front office guy again made me talk to Airtel customer care. Customer care person told me that address verification is not done, so number will be recycled. I will also lose all the amount I have as my balance. Reference number for this conversation is CWBAR[protected].

                            I can assure you that I did not receive any calls related to address verification neither my friend whose number I have given as reference.

                            I would like to continue using this number. In any other case, I am determined to move to consumer court.

                            Note: I am already using one more SIM from Airtel with same address since more than a year now. May be if this detail can help in resolving the issue. I have also provided reference numbers of the communications in case Airtel wants to have more details about my number/address etc.

                              I have been facing this B0001 and video problem for last 20 days. 15 days ago, I have registered a complaint in airtel customer care. They said a engineer will come to my home to solve the problem and this is the same answer for last 12 days still engineer does not come.                                 Dear Sir , Madam ,
                                This is to bring to your urgent notice that ,
                                Inspite of repeated re - assurances ( details given in mails below ) , more than 50 days have passed but Airtel Cutomer Care has not transferred the landline and broadband connection ( A/.C No.[protected] . We had given the Landline reansfer request 0n 8th FEB 2011 even bofore we left gurgaon .

                                There is absolutely no feedback from Bangalore costomer care as to when the connection + broadband will get installed , only acknowledgement mails are send against the complaints mailed ( details of mails attached below ) .

                                On May 1st 2011 , I was forced to write a mail to the Ombudperson at Bharti Airtel , even then there is no response from Airtel .

                                Being completely put off , i asked for disconnection of this account and have applied for a fresh landline connection on 27th April through your customer care representative Mr. Mahabaleswar ( contact no. [protected] ) . he filled the form , took Rs. 500 cash , committed that landline will be installed in 3 days , again 8 days have gone , and even the new connection has not been done .

                                This is simply cheating and harrassment of the highest order .

                                I hope that , this time this issue will get solved once and for all . Me and my wife still use airtel mobile , I have a corporate connection , but > 50 days to shift a landline connection has forced me to re - think about Airtels service abilities. This is how a company starts loosing its loyal customer base when they are pushed to make alternative choices .

                                  The Broadband and phone[protected] both are not working which has cause serious loss to business as we have provided this number to all our customers.
                                  Airtel has not given a call back to us and even after talking to customer care they will take another 4 hours .
                                  Even if there is a resolution of complaint i want aitrtel to compensate our business by makign next 3 months of broadband and landline free .
                                  This may act as a deterrent or may not as they may still not care of monthly billing of Rs 1500 .

                                  Airtel Services — getting no service

                                  i have deposeted my documents twice, bnut again they are asking for documents, and my services have been blocked, and i didnt recive any call from customer care asa they were doing this, so now im planning to go to consummer court as you guys make fool of customers.
                                  I have spent over 30 days, 200 calls, multiple emails and tried to escalate my problems but have got no resolution. My complaint is :
                                  - Network connectivity (nop signal in my house)
                                  - Overbilling (billed for blackberry inspite of disconnecting the service.
                                  - Incorrect billing (Billed for downloads I have never done)
                                  - Service denial (GPRS disconnected and then I am now charged for GPRS)

                                  I ma suffering problem in my cell as we are unable receive any call on my phone no [protected] as this is very difficult situation as no body is here to solve this prob on 121 and 198 i called thrice on thse no but the staff there is not serious for the customers.they are simply making the clients fool. please do something .

                                  AirTel — No network even after 3 years of continuous complaining

                                  My mobile number is [protected].I have this service of Airtel activated since 3 years.Ever since i activated it, i came to know that i have zero network at my billing address.I have since then being complaining about this right from the start where i was given false promises & assurances that the network problem at my place will be solved.It has been 3 years now that nothing has been done.Whenever i call or write to them about this i have been getting stupid & idiotic answers that they are taking stringent steps to improve network all over Mumbai.When i asked that i was not concerned what they are doing to Mumbai, I was only concerned what they were doing to solve the problem at my place.There were still these type of answers from them & they again & again promised that the concerned department will call to me very soon & that they will survey my area.The concerned department never calls up at the first place, though i had got a call from them 2-3 times, no action at all was taken at all.They have even gone to an extent of calling me once, asking about my problem, I explained to them everything but they wrote falsely in their report that they had called me up & they had solved the network issue at my place, causing me to re-open the complaint right from the start.The nodal officer whereas the other superior officers do not even have the courtesy to reply to my emails or even call me once.Whenever they do reply once, i always get the answer that my complaint is in process & will be solved.This has been going since all 3 years.I even requested them to at least install a network booster at my place if they were not capable to solve my complaint, but their reply comes never mentioning about the network booster, needless to say i recieve the same idiotic & stupid answers again.Now since such a long time has passed, i cannot even discontinue this service due to my business reasons.Please somebody help me out of this, i will be thankful to that person forever throughout my life.

I have been losing business and my clients are getting irritated as most of the time they cannot reach me.

                                  Kindly advise what action can be taken to solve this issue.

                                  I had a airtel no [protected].On may 29th 2009 I went to your Bazullah road office and requested whether they can keep the cell no in safe custody for six months since I was leaving for US for six months.I was told that they can hold the no only for 3 months and suggested that I need not give any letter to that effect and my no. will be cancelled and outstanding bill amount will be adjusted with the caution deposit .They also asked me to cofirm with your office on direct line provided .I did so and got the same information as told by the assistant. So l left for US without giving the letter.

                                  From friday 23rd oct Icould not make any outgoing call and from 26th the service is suspended.I spoke to a lady explained her the entire episode and she asked me to send this E Mail to you.

                                  In an nutshell I need not pay any dues for the old No,and you should restore the service for the new No.

                                  Another request is whether you can ALLOT THE SAME NO.[protected] since I have to infom all my friends the new no which is time consuming and I may miss some of my friends.

                                  I called in service centre,they transfered my call to internet technician dept. but they neither talked to me nor they called again...I tried again and again but they barred my call and I had to suffer a big loss due to no internet connection.

                                  I m Rakesh Mishra n m using airtel for last 5 yrs bt now i have realised that i made a drastic mistake by selecting airtel. I think i m sinner as i m using airtel n if i m nt sinner then airtel is surely sinner.. On 19.02.10 i recharged my number with Rs. 80, however i was debited Br Rs. 1 for every msg i sent, Ideally i was nt to be charged as i had 500 sms free on daily basis as i recharged with Rs.80. I lodged a complaint with customer care ( Complain No.[protected]. thereafter till date (23.02.10) my problem is yet to be rectified. whenever i called customer care to know about my problem either they have kept me on hold for more than half n hour or they have disconnected my cal. This can be vouched from the record of Airtel.

                                  I m just going thru the mental hazardness only due to this. This is the last tym when i m asking for help to them if mine problem is not getting rectified even now also then i wl be forced to go to consumer court.

I was submit request on 11 mar at faridabad neelam- bata road airtel outlet , i submit all documents as they required along with payment of Rs. 1377 (including outstanding+unbilled amount), but up to now nothing is done when talk at customer care they are saying send again scanned documentd and payment of rs 265 as unbilled amount, when alerady in my account there is rs -565.                                   Bharti Airtel Ltd. — Suspension of services/delay in balance transfer

                                  I have been a customer of Airtel for more than five years with my post-paid mobile No. [protected]. Since my advance rental was due to expire on 27th March, 2010, I submitted my application to the Airtel office (Challenger Computers, Club Road, Punjab Bagh) on 24th March, 2010 for converting my post-paid connection into pre-paid connection. For the purpose of conversion, the services to my said number had been suspended and a new SIM was provided (No.[protected]. Whereas the company assures the conversion from post-paid to pre-paid connection and vice versa within 24 hours, but in my case, the mobile services have not been restored to my number even after three days. In spite of my repeated requests to the Challenger Computers (Mr. Devinder, [protected]), nothing has been done to restore my mobile connection. Will Airtel compensate me for suspending the services to my mobile number?
                                  Even in the case of my another mobile connection, i.e., [protected], which was being converted from post-paid to pre-paid on 21st January, 2010, the balance left in the account has not been transferred/refunded even after a period of over two months. I have registered a number of complaints in the matter, but no action has been taken by Airtel.
                                  It is regretted to state that the company has been failed to give satisfactory services to its customers even after registering numerous complaints against it.

                                  For the last month we the people at Dalgate area of Srinagar, Kashmir are not getting proper service from the airtel. we have been complinting to their customer care but they have been dodging us since saying it will be resiolved soon but of no vail.[protected],[protected],[protected] are the referance numbers to the complaints lodged..                                   I’ve tried to get in touch with Airtel regarding the problem I’ve been facing with my DTH for the past 4 days.



                                  Neither the 1800 no or the land lint (020-40..) is any good. Am really surprised that an organization like Bharti is so poor when it comes to delivering after sales service.

I’ve paid for the entire year of subscription and had then taken a top up of WB for Rs 11/- as I got delayed to pay this my entire connection was disconnected. Now after repeated calling them I was forced to pay Rs200 thru my credit card and was assured that the same will be activated in 45-60 minutes. That was 18 hours back and the status of my connection hasn’t changed.



                                  I’ve called airtel customer care atleast 30-35 times, even visited the office where I was very conveniently told that we can’t help you as we don’t have access.



                                  This after sales is ridiculous and frustrating. Would highly appreciate it if someone could call me and sort out this problem.

                                  I have taken an Airtel Broadband connection on 20th of June. Firstly the intercom facility was provided in 10 days time and now the wireless connection is not working since 09th July. A complain was lodged on 10th of July having complaint no 34928962 and I am talking to the customer care executives almost twice daily. The call had been on priority since 13th of July but so far the same has not been rectified. I have spoken to many executives including Hussain the floor incharge but everyone wants 24hrs in which they do nothing. Coincidentaly I came across Rakesh who looks after this area but he himself is very frustrated from the organisations working. My mobile number is [protected]. If such is a case of working in NCR then GOD only knows what would be the status in PAN India.

On enquiring the Customer care of Airtel stated that there was technical problem. On repeatedly facing this problem I had to surrender this number and take Vodafone. Now the Customer care is asking me to pay the pending bills. I have asked them to send the bill duly corrected as they never provided me the promised services and caused me harrasment in terms of non reciept of mails as well prevented me from making important tele calls during those periods.

                                  The GPRS on my mobile is irratically functioning. Frequently it gets unattached due to which I am not able to use internet. A complaint was also made to Airtel customer support who say it would be resolved within 7 days. If such is the case what is the use of having GPRS. Will Airtel not charge the rental for the number of days (hrs) it is not properly functioning? Why it should take so much time to resolve a technical issue? If asked for contact number of their technical wing, the same is being denied. The complaint redressal system of Airtel is not transparent at all.

But it was not installed. I again called 198 from landline on 5 july 2011 and requested the same, whose request no.48510952 and the date and time for installation: 7JULY 2011 11:21AM, which has not been installed till now.
                                  I had requested for parallel connection installation on 28 June 2011 with request no.:[protected] and i had told 198 complaint department ROHIT RAKESH TAHAYAT to please forward a request to install the same on 3rd July 2011 as the reason was same as stated above.But to no avail it was also not installed on 3rd July 2011. I again called 198 and expressed my dissatisfaction to Manish Tamrkar on 5 July 2011 and told him to complaint against the same,he said he has written and forwarded the complaint.I took the request no.:[protected] for installation of parallel connection on my fixed landline whose date and time of installation as given by him:7 July 2011 11:28 AM, WHICH HAS NOT BEEN INSTALLED TILL NOW.
                                  I called 198 today i.e. 7July 2011 at 2:30pm had conversation with POONAM DUBEY and expressed my anger and dissatisfaction to her and she promised that these services will be installed today itself. But nobody from airtel has come till now..

                                  Airtel network services — No proper service

                                  Im very much disappointed writing this complain. Last time i complained about no proper network services and when i call customer care,no proper guidance and many a times the line is just on hold.

                                  last time i complained about unneccesary deduction of amount on my phn. It was rectified after an engineer called me from Mumbai( I guess).

                                  But the disruption in network service remains. I had been to NZ for almost two months after my problem was rectified about unnecessary deduction of amount for nothing. I returned a fortnight ago,and i experienced proper internet services only for some hours,probably,later i didnt have any internet on my phn for 5-6 days. Then it automatically got proper.

                                  But later then again i have frequent disruption of internet. Secondly, I recharged my phn for 10,000 free text mssgs(local and STD),but to add to my anger,when i sent my mssgs to multiple recepients,it deducted 0.9 paisa for many local recepients. Presently, im not able to send mssgs to many contacts. When i send mssgs to multiple contacts,it sends some and it fails to send some.

                                  This is not the first day,its almost more than a week,it could be 10-12 days.

                                  And to add to my disappointment,im not able to make calls from my phn to any contacts. Yes i recive calls and text mssgs,but not able to call any.Im not able to send text mssgs to international contacts either.

                                  And to top it,when i called customer service,im not able to get thru,it says ""dial 121 to knnow ur balance"" And fortunately when i get connected sometimes,I get doubly disappointed when customer service are not able to understand me for having english language problem,and i still bear all that and try to explain them and try to get some help from them,they promise to connect me to their superiors,but everytime im put on hold for more than 10 minutes or it could be more if i dont disconnect.

                                  What should i do,throw away the sim and buy a new one? What guarantee i have that my new sim will work well,will i have to send my contacts the mssgs for changed number,JUST BECOZ AIRTEL CANNOT PROVIDE PROPER SERVICE?????
                                  The pathetic service I ever used. I switched to Airtel from Idea in hope of good service (through MNP), its worse….. call service just hangs up, when tried to call, will get ‘This service is not available on your mobile phone’ message, and when I give call to my mobile I get ‘This is a invalid number’ message. But mean time I CAN ACCESS DATA….(that’s strange). To fix issue I tried(for 45 min)to contact (so called)Customer Care (121/198),,,,, its a “JOKE”, even after making proper selection to talk to Customer Care Representative…. at the end I’ll get to hear ‘Thank you for calling Airtel, good bye’ even before talking to representative. Amazing is I got same response even after trying from my friends airtel mobile. Its happening repeatedly. Dono whats the fuss with service

                                  On 6th January, 2012 I requested Airtel to install broad band connection in my home by paying 800 rupees to an Agent. Till now they have not provide the connection. I called MR Kalyan ([protected]) more than 300 times to him. Many times he even did not lift the phone. I requested him in all ways. But no result I found. He keeps on postponing by saying today evening or tomorrow morning like that.

                                  As internet connection is not available I was unable to put reply for many important mails .Due that I lost very good opportunities in my career. Still I requested him many time to establish connection in my home. Today I called him more than 50 times but he did not lift the call. I completely fed up with these people.                                     hi, my number is [protected](UP.west), i had not subscribe games mania subscription and yesterday a message noticed me that i am subscribed to games mania subscription. and give back the deducted amount. yesterday rs 5 was deducted and today when i saw my balance it showed a deduction of somewhat rs. 9. this is disturbing me. please do spmething as soon as possible otherwise i will go to consumer court. i am using my number for last 8 years, it will be very painful to leave airtel if i have to face these type of cheap tricks. really it is very shameful act.

                                      Hi,

                                      I have taken a new Airtel DTH Service and paid 2390/- for the service. It worked for 2 days and later i had a problem with the signal and there was no audio/visual. I kept calling the customer care for 6 days and they had not sent anyone to look into the issue. I asked for a disconnection and they disconnected the service. It has been more than 4 weeks since i disconnected and no one has come to pick up the equipment and hasn't yet refunded my money.

                                      It was the mistake from their side. The dish was not properly installed and they did not respond to my calls for 6 days. They provided a very poor quality of service and I would expect to get a full refund.

                                      When I called up today (4th May 2011) the customer care executive says that my account is in negative balance. I don't understand how my account is in negative balance when I haven't even properly used the service.

                                      Can anyone help me in getting my money back?
