My name is Dheeraj . I m using airtel mobile postpaid corporate connection service ([protected]) from last 4 years.
Few days back when I needed internet at home I called up airtel to know the plan as I had an Airtel broadband connection in my earlier apartment but due to shifting of home it got disconnected because airtel has no telephone lines in this new apartment. So I had an unrequired devices and investment with Airtel . So I called up Airtel guys to check if I get connection back or any other immediate alternative solution.
They mislead me and without given whole information and of about half an hr talk they convinced me to use your mobile as internet device, I was existed to know as I felt it’s a better option they told me to call technical guy, I called technical deptt. After having long conversation they convinced me and miss lead me to start this without any hassle, without giving me the whole pros and cons and terms. I happily start using it now because of some miss happening in the family I left the town in my absence I given the device to my colleague who works with me (I am a freelance Web IT guy). Under the impression that it never go beyond my credit limit because whenever it touches the upper limit the system automatically barred my phone at many occasions in the past .
After few days when I came back, On very first call to customer care which I made just to check for the upgradation of internet plan, as my colleague said it is working fine you may go ahead with this, I get shocked to hear my unbilled amount, I was told : your unbill amount is approximately Rs. 8900/-, when I said my credit limit is just 2600/- then she replied “you don’t need to worry if you have not got any sms or call from our side it may be less after discounts and all the deductions. It may happens some time; right now I’m not able to clear because bill has not generated”. She asked me for meantime you should upgrade your net package and I immediately did so.
I was again haven’t received any sms or call, few days after I again checked again same reply and this time bill touched to around 17-18K +.
Few days after I made call again to customer call wanted to clear my doubt about my bill, but after telling the whole story he told me to contact Nodal Office (Mr. Firoz : XXXXXXXXX)
I called Nodal Office tried to contact Mr. Feeroz, but thr was an different guy on the other side replied he is busy, I will solve your problem but after repeating the whole story again he was unable to solve the query replied: call some other time and send an email to airtel nodal officer, I immediately sent a mail to airtel but even after three working days till date I hadn’t received any. After regular daily reminders there was no response. Next day I called on the given number, Meantime, I also requested customer care to pls stop my services with immediate effect, they replied with sms “ thank you for calling we will get back to you on 27 April”, i.e. exactly 20 days after I log the request. In between I also started try to communicate with so many different guys on daily basis.
After few days I again repeat the all steps, this time executive provided me one more number of Mr. Vishal (nodal officer) I talked over ph repeat the whole story he felt it’s a fault from airtel but you have to pay we will compromise to 50% I said why I comprise on 50% even if you are accepting your fault, he replied sir, I will revert to you soon. Wait for my call, till date I have’nt talk to the same guy again.
In between I received call from another deptt. In response to my disconnection query Mr Lokesh was on the other said wanted to knw the reason I told him the whole story he said I need to check the records he did and replied and he also admitted that the this fault is from airtel and said we are sorry sir we will discountinue this number, I asked what will happen to my bill after disconnection of number, I am not going to pay any bill. He replied OK. I said alright then pls send me an sms regarding the same but after disconnecting the call I have’nt recevided any confirmation call or sms I tried to call him back but that number is not having incoming facility.
Very next day when I was travelling I get a call from a member of same Mr. Lokesh’s team for confirmation of discountinue of services for the same number I said yeh go ahead but what will happen with bill (the same Question I asked to Lokesh day before) he replied that is not our deptt. You may be contected through our collection deptt. I asked for lokesh then he connect me to lokesh. Now this same guy who assure me a day before and agreed upon the fault from airtel side refuse to say anything and
Was telling me same thing again and again like a parrot ‘this is your usage charges you have to pay, this call is regarding dicotinue of services, I have to close this file please confirm me pls confirm me blah blah.. (now this is too much Bull %#$#%#) ’
Today I received a letter with the same line ‘please pay your pending amount’
- Nothing in response to my query all going to well. Airtel just bothering to Just pay …pay …and pay
I am unhappy with Bharti Airtel on the following accounts:
1. After disconnection of my airtel home broad band connection, after a month Airtel called and said: u can resume same services again in your community, but whenever I go to airtel outlet they replied there are not any such services in your apartment. You have to wait, Now my modem and handset lying with no use. They wasted my time and investment like anything.
2. On this issue (exciding bill on my mobile internet, and discontinue of mobile services), The bill states my Credit limit as Rs.2600/-.Inspite of this, my Usage was allowed till around Rs 9000/- and Plus (19k till date now), I wasn’t informed when my usage exceeded my credit limit.
3. Point to be note here before this I majorly called airtel to pls don’t bar my connection whenever it touches 2600/- of my limit. Surprisingly this time they wait till 19000/- amazing services. I recived first sms of excedding limit of (when it reached 19000/-) on 24 april that is approx. after 20-30 days after I received the bill.
3. The Airtel representative continuously harassed me over the phone for a month when I was trying for a solution, they are ready to listen but after hearing all the bark they said, just pay and Enjoy!.
4. Airtel authorities aren’t answering my mails/Queries (sent around 10-12 mails on daily basis). I mark mail daily they only reply with “we will get back to you in three working days” and never get back.
5. They never refer to the actual cause of the problem just look into the billing amount and start arguing and harass.
Kindly look into the matter at the earliest.
For reference I am having all the email communication with airtel and airtel must be having all my conversation with them as every call is payable and recorder for their training purposes.

AIRTEL tamil nadu india — about hello tunes and amount automatically vanishing
jus now i searched a song and sent msg to the displayed no.but i didnt got any reply msg about hello tune, also im having b/w set , ive been deducted for using airtel live. eventhough i had informed many times...airtel is cheating money in different ways
