The airtel complaint number: 45863562
The Broadband and phone[protected] both are not working which has cause serious loss to business as we have provided this number to all our customers.
Airtel has not given a call back to us and even after talking to customer care they will take another 4 hours .
Even if there is a resolution of complaint i want aitrtel to compensate our business by makign next 3 months of broadband and landline free .
This may act as a deterrent or may not as they may still not care of monthly billing of Rs 1500 .

AIRTEL tamil nadu india — about hello tunes and amount automatically vanishing

jus now i searched a song and sent msg to the displayed no.but i didnt got any reply msg about hello tune, also im having b/w set , ive been deducted for using airtel live. eventhough i had informed many times...

airtel is cheating money in different ways
I am unable to make or receive calls on my airtel mobile for the last few days in Bangalore. I have enough currency and validity. Many of my friends in Bangalore have similar complaints and in fact have switched to other service providers.
Please do the needful.

AirTel — Not get proper service from Airtel

I am suffering not having proper service of network from Airtel since last few years.
I compline several times but thay are not really work on it.
What should i do now?

AIRTEL POST PAID CONNECTION; GPRS VS AIRTELLIVE — OVERCHARGING OF BILL

MY MOBILE NUMBER IS [protected]. FROM LAST MONTH I HAVE BEEN USING INTERNET ON MOBILE. I ENQUIRED THE PROCEDURE FOR USING INTERNET AND CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES MISINFORMED THAT AIRTEL LIVE WAS FREE. THEN SUDDENLY SMS OF RS. 7200/-LIABILITY CAME. AIRTEL DOES NOT INFORM CUSTOMERS TO USE GPRS FROM DAY ONE. I HAVE BEEN OVERCHARGED AND BILLED FOR RS. 9500/- WHEREAS GPRS WOULD HAVE COSTED RS.499/- I HAVE SENT SEVERAL MESSAGES ON 121airtelindia. SEVERAL CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES HAVE RECORDED MY COMPLAINT. I AM WAITING FOR REDRESSAL.

Airtel mobile connection — OVERBILLING; GPRS VS AIRTEL LIVE

THIS IS REGARDING MY AIRTEL MOBILE CONNECTION [protected]. I HAVE REPEATEDLY INFORMED AIRTEL REGARDING OVERBILLING ON ACCOUNT OF AIRTELLIVE WHICH RESULTED DUE TO LACK OF INFORMATION/ASSISTANCE. Airtel Services — getting no service

i have deposeted my documents twice, bnut again they are asking for documents, and my services have been blocked, and i didnt recive any call from customer care asa they were doing this, so now im planning to go to consummer court as you guys make fool of customers.
I have spent over 30 days, 200 calls, multiple emails and tried to escalate my problems but have got no resolution. My complaint is :
- Network connectivity (nop signal in my house)
- Overbilling (billed for blackberry inspite of disconnecting the service.
- Incorrect billing (Billed for downloads I have never done)
- Service denial (GPRS disconnected and then I am now charged for GPRS)

I have registered multiple complaints with airtel, visited their office, sent email etc but have got no help.

I have many mails and taped conversations.

AirTel — No SERVICE On my phone

Dear Sir,
I ma suffering problem in my cell as we are unable receive any call on my phone no [protected] as this is very difficult situation as no body is here to solve this prob on 121 and 198 i called thrice on thse no but the staff there is not serious for the customers.they are simply making the clients fool. please do something .
i had taken a number [protected] of airtel maharashtra and i live in pune. I have problem with text based message service ...I donno how it got activated but when i requested the customer care people they have no clue whats happening(they directed me in different ways - no idea worked out).My doubt is that some hackers must have intruded in to their territory...and i am paying for that???????

AirTel — No network even after 3 years of continuous complaining

My mobile number is [protected].I have this service of Airtel activated since 3 years.Ever since i activated it, i came to know that i have zero network at my billing address.I have since then being complaining about this right from the start where i was given false promises & assurances that the network problem at my place will be solved.It has been 3 years now that nothing has been done.Whenever i call or write to them about this i have been getting stupid & idiotic answers that they are taking stringent steps to improve network all over Mumbai.When i asked that i was not concerned what they are doing to Mumbai, I was only concerned what they were doing to solve the problem at my place.There were still these type of answers from them & they again & again promised that the concerned department will call to me very soon & that they will survey my area.The concerned department never calls up at the first place, though i had got a call from them 2-3 times, no action at all was taken at all.They have even gone to an extent of calling me once, asking about my problem, I explained to them everything but they wrote falsely in their report that they had called me up & they had solved the network issue at my place, causing me to re-open the complaint right from the start.The nodal officer whereas the other superior officers do not even have the courtesy to reply to my emails or even call me once.Whenever they do reply once, i always get the answer that my complaint is in process & will be solved.This has been going since all 3 years.I even requested them to at least install a network booster at my place if they were not capable to solve my complaint, but their reply comes never mentioning about the network booster, needless to say i recieve the same idiotic & stupid answers again.Now since such a long time has passed, i cannot even discontinue this service due to my business reasons.Please somebody help me out of this, i will be thankful to that person forever throughout my life.

I have applied for the broadband connection from this company and have lost Rs. 500 and they never came back to connect.
I have spoken to the call center exec. they always say that the guy will come tomorrow but he never comes.

My office is in the heart of the city and the signal strength is erratic and on account of this almost every called is dropped half way through. For every call I receive, I have call back to continue with the talk. This erratic service is not only at my office but also at my residence, which is also in central city limits. The Service Request No. allotted to me is 27646976 for the recent complaint dated 16th June, with a promise to revert back with a solution by 23rd. Today is 26th and there is no call or mail from them. I am Airtel customer for the last 10 years and the response being given to me is pathetic. I have been losing business and my clients are getting irritated as most of the time they cannot reach me.

Kindly advise what action can be taken to solve this issue.

Airtel — Online recharge of Rs. 265

I had a airtel no [protected].On may 29th 2009 I went to your Bazullah road office and requested whether they can keep the cell no in safe custody for six months since I was leaving for US for six months.I was told that they can hold the no only for 3 months and suggested that I need not give any letter to that effect and my no. will be cancelled and outstanding bill amount will be adjusted with the caution deposit .They also asked me to cofirm with your office on direct line provided .I did so and got the same information as told by the assistant. So l left for US without giving the letter.

Now I was registered as a new customer in the same Bazullah road office and the No [protected].
From friday 23rd oct Icould not make any outgoing call and from 26th the service is suspended.I spoke to a lady explained her the entire episode and she asked me to send this E Mail to you.

In an nutshell I need not pay any dues for the old No,and you should restore the service for the new No.

Another request is whether you can ALLOT THE SAME NO.[protected] since I have to infom all my friends the new no which is time consuming and I may miss some of my friends.

Bharti Airtel India Limited — delay in services

Dear Sir/Mam,

I recharged my airtel number([protected]) with Rs.395 for using internet service but I couldn't get the mobile office settings for three days
I called in service centre,they transfered my call to internet technician dept. but they neither talked to me nor they called again...I tried again and again but they barred my call and I had to suffer a big loss due to no internet connection.
I wasted lot of time,went 2 times to airtel office,n then the next day I got the settings.
my 4 days of internet service has been wasted.

kindly take necessary and appropriate action.

I m Rakesh Mishra n m using airtel for last 5 yrs bt now i have realised that i made a drastic mistake by selecting airtel. I think i m sinner as i m using airtel n if i m nt sinner then airtel is surely sinner.. On 19.02.10 i recharged my number with Rs. 80, however i was debited Br Rs. 1 for every msg i sent, Ideally i was nt to be charged as i had 500 sms free on daily basis as i recharged with Rs.80. I lodged a complaint with customer care ( Complain No.[protected]. thereafter till date (23.02.10) my problem is yet to be rectified. whenever i called customer care to know about my problem either they have kept me on hold for more than half n hour or they have disconnected my cal. This can be vouched from the record of Airtel.

I m just going thru the mental hazardness only due to this. This is the last tym when i m asking for help to them if mine problem is not getting rectified even now also then i wl be forced to go to consumer court.

on 16/03/10 ,i bought a new airtel sim(jharkhand circle) with no.[protected], the services were not started ..at evening around 6:00 i got msg that welcome to airtel after that retailer did an easy recharge of rs 74 .and i got balc of rs 66 but the expire date of service was not shown.pls do need and activate the no. as early as possible with rs 66 as balance...

I was submit the request of change of ownership of my mobile connection from my brother name to my name i.e from parveen ahuja to amit ahuja. I was submit request on 11 mar at faridabad neelam- bata road airtel outlet , i submit all documents as they required along with payment of Rs. 1377 (including outstanding+unbilled amount), but up to now nothing is done when talk at customer care they are saying send again scanned documentd and payment of rs 265 as unbilled amount, when alerady in my account there is rs -565. Please tell me what i do , please help me in solving this problem.

Bharti Airtel Ltd. — Suspension of services/delay in balance transfer

I have been a customer of Airtel for more than five years with my post-paid mobile No. [protected]. Since my advance rental was due to expire on 27th March, 2010, I submitted my application to the Airtel office (Challenger Computers, Club Road, Punjab Bagh) on 24th March, 2010 for converting my post-paid connection into pre-paid connection. For the purpose of conversion, the services to my said number had been suspended and a new SIM was provided (No.[protected]. Whereas the company assures the conversion from post-paid to pre-paid connection and vice versa within 24 hours, but in my case, the mobile services have not been restored to my number even after three days. In spite of my repeated requests to the Challenger Computers (Mr. Devinder, [protected]), nothing has been done to restore my mobile connection. Will Airtel compensate me for suspending the services to my mobile number?
Even in the case of my another mobile connection, i.e., [protected], which was being converted from post-paid to pre-paid on 21st January, 2010, the balance left in the account has not been transferred/refunded even after a period of over two months. I have registered a number of complaints in the matter, but no action has been taken by Airtel.
It is regretted to state that the company has been failed to give satisfactory services to its customers even after registering numerous complaints against it.

For the last month we the people at Dalgate area of Srinagar, Kashmir are not getting proper service from the airtel. we have been complinting to their customer care but they have been dodging us since saying it will be resiolved soon but of no vail.[protected],[protected],[protected] are the referance numbers to the complaints lodged.. My cust id is [protected] .I have problem in airtel DTH so I made a service request on 29th April 2010 ( Service req. no 2580310) ,it was agreed by customer care that service engineer will come & solve the problem but no one came but the SMS came on mobile that your problem has been resolved .(without solving it) its big cheating. so again I lodged a service req. ( no 2590638) again no one came but the SMS came on mobile that your problem has been resolved .(without solving it) its big big cheating again .So I lodged another service req. no 2602974 third time still no effect.

I’ve tried to get in touch with Airtel regarding the problem I’ve been facing with my DTH for the past 4 days.



Neither the 1800 no or the land lint (020-40..) is any good. Am really surprised that an organization like Bharti is so poor when it comes to delivering after sales service.



My customer id is [protected]. I’ve paid for the entire year of subscription and had then taken a top up of WB for Rs 11/- as I got delayed to pay this my entire connection was disconnected. Now after repeated calling them I was forced to pay Rs200 thru my credit card and was assured that the same will be activated in 45-60 minutes. That was 18 hours back and the status of my connection hasn’t changed.



I’ve called airtel customer care atleast 30-35 times, even visited the office where I was very conveniently told that we can’t help you as we don’t have access.



This after sales is ridiculous and frustrating. Would highly appreciate it if someone could call me and sort out this problem.

I have taken an Airtel Broadband connection on 20th of June. Firstly the intercom facility was provided in 10 days time and now the wireless connection is not working since 09th July. A complain was lodged on 10th of July having complaint no 34928962 and I am talking to the customer care executives almost twice daily. The call had been on priority since 13th of July but so far the same has not been rectified. I have spoken to many executives including Hussain the floor incharge but everyone wants 24hrs in which they do nothing. Coincidentaly I came across Rakesh who looks after this area but he himself is very frustrated from the organisations working. My mobile number is [protected]. If such is a case of working in NCR then GOD only knows what would be the status in PAN India.

Airtel — Erratic services - Need compensation

Dear Customer care,

I am being charged full amount by the airtel despite its defficiency in services for erratically stopping outgoing as well as blackberry mail services on Tele No [protected]. I want them to be penalized for the same. The services have impacted my critical messages and telephone calls.

The Airtel tele No [protected] every month was debarred for outgoing services despite the bills were cleared and no bill was pending. On enquiring the Customer care of Airtel stated that there was technical problem. On repeatedly facing this problem I had to surrender this number and take Vodafone. Now the Customer care is asking me to pay the pending bills. I have asked them to send the bill duly corrected as they never provided me the promised services and caused me harrasment in terms of non reciept of mails as well prevented me from making important tele calls during those periods.

I have asked them to compensate me for there inadequate services

Airtel Mobile — GPRS erratically functioning

The GPRS on my mobile is irratically functioning. Frequently it gets unattached due to which I am not able to use internet. A complaint was also made to Airtel customer support who say it would be resolved within 7 days. If such is the case what is the use of having GPRS. Will Airtel not charge the rental for the number of days (hrs) it is not properly functioning? Why it should take so much time to resolve a technical issue? If asked for contact number of their technical wing, the same is being denied. The complaint redressal system of Airtel is not transparent at all.

I have been trying to change my pre-paid phone service with Airtel to post-paid. I gave all the necessary information eg.photo, id proof for the transfer since 3 weeks but not a thing has been done about it, i have called several people in the said company and spent hours been put on hold and been promised that i'll be given the proper service but nothing, i am so frustrated with Airtel and i am in the process of getting a new connection from another mobile provider. Everytime you call the help line you have to talk to a machine for a very long time and in the end there is no result, i can't believe that in a country with 1billion plus people you still have to face machines every day, it is totally frustrating!!!

i wanted let you know the disaster service experience from Airtel which i am facing now
coming to point, I am using Airtel Digital TV connection and facing lot of troubles with it
at the time of installation too i faced lot of troubles and for a week for the installation (which is supposed to be held in 48 hours)
and now i want to add a new channel "MOVIES NOW HD" since 8 days to my package but i am unable to do
i hv called number of times Airtel customer care people they are saying our staff will come and change the direction of dish antenna but no one is coming
they said it ll be solved in 24 hours but after 11 days also there is no response they given me a complaint number of 6122703 then later the issued a new one after chasing them
for 5 days on phone now my complaint number is 6231967,( i got this 5 days back still no response)
and reaching customer care people is a bitter exp cause the line will cut in middle and some new one ll pick up the call and we have to explain the entire thing from the beginning
what is the is disaster service do they think what customer wll do?
we are paying LAKHS of annual bill to Airtel from our company through mobile, broadband and digital tv connection
even also we are getting this kind of service
what we are supposed to now?
if i didn't get proper reply from them i will go to any extent in legally
because they should know how much the customers are suffering with their worse services

same problem is being faced by my friend also.
He has called and registered requests two times in order to de-install and reinstall his airtel DTH antenna. On both occasions they closed the caseafter sending a sms quoting the case is successfully resolved without any staff visiting his home.

Even the customer care service persons give very poor response.

Issue: Unable to add HD chanels

Resolution needed:

* Get the engineer come home align to the new satellite as being promised for last two months.

* Compensation: Provide me two months of free viewing of HD channels

* Post two months, provide the offer of Rs. 40 for all HD Channels then on. as this was the offer, when I lodged the complaint.

I have a airtel land-line connection with broadband service.
My plan provide me both calling and using broadband, none of then is working from last Saturday i complain for 5-6 times to send representative and solve this but no action is taken place.

Now when i call customer care of airtel the make my call on hold and don't talk to me any further. This connection is used in my office and since it is not working the orders are not coming which effect us in loss of thousands of rupees as order goes to other seller and also we does't able to get connected through net over that place which provide us great trouble in urgency.I have also given advance payment of 14 months. and have only used this connection for 2 months till now. kindly help us get compensation and in solving this problem.

Had requested for wifi installation on 25 june2011 whose request no.48131254 and i had especially mentioned to 198 complaint department tele caller MANISH TAMRKAR to please forward a request to install the same on 3rd July 2011 as it was a sunday and we all are working, so it could be convenient for us. But it was not installed. I again called 198 from landline on 5 july 2011 and requested the same, whose request no.48510952 and the date and time for installation: 7JULY 2011 11:21AM, which has not been installed till now.
I had requested for parallel connection installation on 28 June 2011 with request no.:[protected] and i had told 198 complaint department ROHIT RAKESH TAHAYAT to please forward a request to install the same on 3rd July 2011 as the reason was same as stated above.But to no avail it was also not installed on 3rd July 2011. I again called 198 and expressed my dissatisfaction to Manish Tamrkar on 5 July 2011 and told him to complaint against the same,he said he has written and forwarded the complaint.I took the request no.:[protected] for installation of parallel connection on my fixed landline whose date and time of installation as given by him:7 July 2011 11:28 AM, WHICH HAS NOT BEEN INSTALLED TILL NOW.
I called 198 today i.e. 7July 2011 at 2:30pm had conversation with POONAM DUBEY and expressed my anger and dissatisfaction to her and she promised that these services will be installed today itself. But nobody from airtel has come till now..

Im very much disappointed writing this complain. Last time i complained about no proper network services and when i call customer care,no proper guidance and many a times the line is just on hold.

last time i complained about unneccesary deduction of amount on my phn. It was rectified after an engineer called me from Mumbai( I guess).

But the disruption in network service remains. I had been to NZ for almost two months after my problem was rectified about unnecessary deduction of amount for nothing. I returned a fortnight ago,and i experienced proper internet services only for some hours,probably,later i didnt have any internet on my phn for 5-6 days. Then it automatically got proper.

But later then again i have frequent disruption of internet. Secondly, I recharged my phn for 10,000 free text mssgs(local and STD),but to add to my anger,when i sent my mssgs to multiple recepients,it deducted 0.9 paisa for many local recepients. Presently, im not able to send mssgs to many contacts. When i send mssgs to multiple contacts,it sends some and it fails to send some.

This is not the first day,its almost more than a week,it could be 10-12 days.

And to add to my disappointment,im not able to make calls from my phn to any contacts. Yes i recive calls and text mssgs,but not able to call any.Im not able to send text mssgs to international contacts either.

And to top it,when i called customer service,im not able to get thru,it says ""dial 121 to knnow ur balance"" And fortunately when i get connected sometimes,I get doubly disappointed when customer service are not able to understand me for having english language problem,and i still bear all that and try to explain them and try to get some help from them,they promise to connect me to their superiors,but everytime im put on hold for more than 10 minutes or it could be more if i dont disconnect.

What should i do,throw away the sim and buy a new one? What guarantee i have that my new sim will work well,will i have to send my contacts the mssgs for changed number,JUST BECOZ AIRTEL CANNOT PROVIDE PROPER SERVICE?????
The pathetic service I ever used. I switched to Airtel from Idea in hope of good service (through MNP), its worse….. call service just hangs up, when tried to call, will get ‘This service is not available on your mobile phone’ message, and when I give call to my mobile I get ‘This is a invalid number’ message. But mean time I CAN ACCESS DATA….(that’s strange). To fix issue I tried(for 45 min)to contact (so called)Customer Care (121/198),,,,, its a “JOKE”, even after making proper selection to talk to Customer Care Representative…. at the end I’ll get to hear ‘Thank you for calling Airtel, good bye’ even before talking to representative. Amazing is I got same response even after trying from my friends airtel mobile. Its happening repeatedly. Dono whats the fuss with service

If they are not able to provide good or at last normal service to the customer they need to free up the resources so that some one else will utilize.

On 6.9.2011, I was informed by Airtel through SMS that they will change the direction of the dish in view of change in the operating satellite . The services went off on 20.9.2011. I have,since ,been persistently requesting their Customer Care through phone , mail for restoration of services ,but they have failed to respond,despite several promises made .When I asked for refund of my subscription charges and installation charges ,they have refused to respond. I request your intervention to wake up Airtel and not to cheat with big Ads.

Airtel has sold me a datacard for 2500/- and did not provide the service for two months.

The datacard is locked to the Aitel service provider. I am not able to use that card for other service provider.

Even though I am brutally cheated by the Airtel, I still have to beg them for the service because the datacard which I purchased from Airtel is not working with other service providers.

I think this is restricting the user from having the benefits of the telecom revolution.

I see no reason why I should stick to the Airtel only, My datacard should work for all the service providers, then only customer like me can have a choice to choose the alternative when they don’t get service from the service provider for the money they paid.

Airtel — Huge Delay in internet connection installation

Hi,

On 6th January, 2012 I requested Airtel to install broad band connection in my home by paying 800 rupees to an Agent. Till now they have not provide the connection. I called MR Kalyan ([protected]) more than 300 times to him. Many times he even did not lift the phone. I requested him in all ways. But no result I found. He keeps on postponing by saying today evening or tomorrow morning like that.

As internet connection is not available I was unable to put reply for many important mails .Due that I lost very good opportunities in my career. Still I requested him many time to establish connection in my home. Today I called him more than 50 times but he did not lift the call. I completely fed up with these people. And I decided not to take broadband connection from Airtel. Kindly send back my money as I don’t want connection from you. My CEF no is HY410304.

I have been airtel user from last 5 years. and nominated as golden customer as they called. My number [protected] was prepaid and i have submitted all the documents to make it Postpaid. I got the new SIM too from relationship center, yavatmal. It's been 1 and half week but still the SIM shows me no service. For this conversion airtel claiming only 72 hrs of time. And also they barred the customer care call on my alternate number. What should i do now. I want my service soon as i have only number to get in touch.

1.I recharged my Airtel 2G plan from airtel online website for rs 199 as this option was available on the airtel website itself the transaction id is 942679 on 30 may 2013.
2. I paid the money from SBI net banking.. I had put in a request for change of name(from my dad to me) for my airtel mobile no. [protected]. I was told that i will have no service for a period of 10 hours.     I am writing this complaint in connection with some service from airtellive which is activated on my cell phone and Rs 3 is charged everyday. I have not subscribed to any such service.       Hi,

      I have taken a new Airtel DTH Service and paid 2390/- for the service. It worked for 2 days and later i had a problem with the signal and there was no audio/visual. I kept calling the customer care for 6 days and they had not sent anyone to look into the issue. I asked for a disconnection and they disconnected the service. It has been more than 4 weeks since i disconnected and no one has come to pick up the equipment and hasn't yet refunded my money.

      It was the mistake from their side. The dish was not properly installed and they did not respond to my calls for 6 days. They provided a very poor quality of service and I would expect to get a full refund.

      When I called up today (4th May 2011) the customer care executive says that my account is in negative balance. I don't understand how my account is in negative balance when I haven't even properly used the service.

      Can anyone help me in getting my money back?

          Respected Sir,

          This is Binu here and is regarding my application for a new Airtel connection in Bangalore. The reference number is CEF NO: TBLR 236832.

          I am having health problem and was undergone a surgery to my stomach few weeks back, so I used to work from home by company provided laptop through broadband connection. I was having an internet connection which was a data card, in between I got an advertisement for Airtel broadband through a notice paper dropped on the door step. I called on the number provided - [protected] (Mr. Anand Reddy). Next day morning he came to collect the advance Rs. 1300 (2 Mbps unlimited) along with the documents required for connection - rental agreement, HR letter from my company, permanent ID proof and a passport size photo on 28th of April 2011, Thursday and he confirmed that the connection will be provided on Friday or maximum Saturday and will be treated in an urgent basis. Trusting his word I disconnected the existing connection effective on Saturday. I didn't see any body turning up till Saturday evening and I called Mr. Anand and he told he will call back in 2 minutes. I called 5 - 6 times and the reply was the same (will call back in 1 minute). I didn't get an response on that day.

          Sunday morning I called and he told that one Mr. Ramesh will come and set up the connection by 11:30 AM, nobody came and I was keep on calling to [protected] (Mr. Anand Reddy) and there was no response. As I needed connection on Monday morning for logging into my job I kept on calling and he didn't picked up. Then I tried from my mother's cell phone and seeing a different number he picked up and told he will call back in 2 minutes. As there was no calls I tried from mine as well as mother's mobile and no response. He picked up when I called from my friend's mobile and then the same story repeated, no response for further calls. Ignoring the doctor's advise to take rest I went to office on Monday and today (Tuesday). None of my calls were responded and evening when I called from a friend's mobile he picked up and talked some thing which was no understandable, then he provided some channel manager's number - one Mr. Naik ([protected] and [protected]), one numeber was on call-waiting when I called, when I called gain he didn't pick up both the numbers. I sent a SMS to this mobile number stating that I will escalate this in Consumer court forum and also to nodal and appellate officers of Airtel and there was no response.

          I was fine if they could have told that new Airtel connection is going to take 2 - 3 weeks, then I wouldnt have disconnected my previous connection till then or would have gone for BSNL or other service provider who will give connection in 2 weeks time. I doubt whether they (Airtel) know what is customer satisfaction. Few irresponsible guys in the team can lead to make the name of such a reputed company like Airtel to a notorious service provider.

          Sir, I kindly request you to look into this and to do the needful so that they can give me the connection or can refund the amount stating that the connection can't be provided. I hope you would have understood my frustration and embarrassment which made me to write the whole story.

          Kindly help me in this regard.

          After so many follow ups and chases I got my connection enabled last week. I gave the price for modem but they provided me an old modem. Now the connection is not working, once i switch on the modem it will take nearly half an hour to get connected and in between the connections it used to drop. From yesterday the connectin itself is not working.

          I dont know how much I will have to call/follow-up/chase/escalate/write in forums etc to get the connection fixed.

          I used to work from home and it is a real pain with these kind of quality and response from your team.

          Just think what you will feel if you are not getting the monthly salary and you have to make 100 calls and follow ups to get the same and after that again the same problem happening in the next month also. Just think what you will feel ???

          Is this is the way you handle customer ? You don't have any value for customers ?

            I do not want any such service and i am also not requested for that. how the airtel company activated this service.

            If the Airtel wants money they can try some other option rather than charging its customers without their knowledge.

            I'm facing the same problem since last 5 days. I have been forcefully subscribed to some WorldCupVideoSat service and each day a deductio of Rs 3 or Rs 5 is being done. I've called the customer care at least four times. Two times it got disconnected while they "tried" to resolve the issue. Two times they noted the complaint and told me that I'll be unsubscribed. But nothing has been done. I'm receiving the SMS alerts everyday.

            Not only this, I've been charged Rs 99/- for some Alladin game I never downloaded. Is Airtel listening.

              My name is Dheeraj . I m using airtel mobile postpaid corporate connection service ([protected]) from last 4 years.

              Few days back when I needed internet at home I called up airtel to know the plan as I had an Airtel broadband connection in my earlier apartment but due to shifting of home it got disconnected because airtel has no telephone lines in this new apartment. So I had an unrequired devices and investment with Airtel . So I called up Airtel guys to check if I get connection back or any other immediate alternative solution.
              They mislead me and without given whole information and of about half an hr talk they convinced me to use your mobile as internet device, I was existed to know as I felt it’s a better option they told me to call technical guy, I called technical deptt. After having long conversation they convinced me and miss lead me to start this without any hassle, without giving me the whole pros and cons and terms. I happily start using it now because of some miss happening in the family I left the town in my absence I given the device to my colleague who works with me (I am a freelance Web IT guy). Under the impression that it never go beyond my credit limit because whenever it touches the upper limit the system automatically barred my phone at many occasions in the past .
              After few days when I came back, On very first call to customer care which I made just to check for the upgradation of internet plan, as my colleague said it is working fine you may go ahead with this, I get shocked to hear my unbilled amount, I was told : your unbill amount is approximately Rs. 8900/-, when I said my credit limit is just 2600/- then she replied “you don’t need to worry if you have not got any sms or call from our side it may be less after discounts and all the deductions. It may happens some time; right now I’m not able to clear because bill has not generated”. She asked me for meantime you should upgrade your net package and I immediately did so.
              I was again haven’t received any sms or call, few days after I again checked again same reply and this time bill touched to around 17-18K +.
              Few days after I made call again to customer call wanted to clear my doubt about my bill, but after telling the whole story he told me to contact Nodal Office (Mr. Firoz : XXXXXXXXX)
              I called Nodal Office tried to contact Mr. Feeroz, but thr was an different guy on the other side replied he is busy, I will solve your problem but after repeating the whole story again he was unable to solve the query replied: call some other time and send an email to airtel nodal officer, I immediately sent a mail to airtel but even after three working days till date I hadn’t received any. After regular daily reminders there was no response. Next day I called on the given number, Meantime, I also requested customer care to pls stop my services with immediate effect, they replied with sms “ thank you for calling we will get back to you on 27 April”, i.e. exactly 20 days after I log the request. In between I also started try to communicate with so many different guys on daily basis.
              After few days I again repeat the all steps, this time executive provided me one more number of Mr. Vishal (nodal officer) I talked over ph repeat the whole story he felt it’s a fault from airtel but you have to pay we will compromise to 50% I said why I comprise on 50% even if you are accepting your fault, he replied sir, I will revert to you soon. Wait for my call, till date I have’nt talk to the same guy again.
              In between I received call from another deptt. In response to my disconnection query Mr Lokesh was on the other said wanted to knw the reason I told him the whole story he said I need to check the records he did and replied and he also admitted that the this fault is from airtel and said we are sorry sir we will discountinue this number, I asked what will happen to my bill after disconnection of number, I am not going to pay any bill. He replied OK. I said alright then pls send me an sms regarding the same but after disconnecting the call I have’nt recevided any confirmation call or sms I tried to call him back but that number is not having incoming facility.
              Very next day when I was travelling I get a call from a member of same Mr. Lokesh’s team for confirmation of discountinue of services for the same number I said yeh go ahead but what will happen with bill (the same Question I asked to Lokesh day before) he replied that is not our deptt. You may be contected through our collection deptt. I asked for lokesh then he connect me to lokesh. Now this same guy who assure me a day before and agreed upon the fault from airtel side refuse to say anything and
              Was telling me same thing again and again like a parrot ‘this is your usage charges you have to pay, this call is regarding dicotinue of services, I have to close this file please confirm me pls confirm me blah blah.. (now this is too much Bull %#$#%#) ’

              Today I received a letter with the same line ‘please pay your pending amount’
              - Nothing in response to my query all going to well. Airtel just bothering to Just pay …pay …and pay
              I am unhappy with Bharti Airtel on the following accounts:
              1. After disconnection of my airtel home broad band connection, after a month Airtel called and said: u can resume same services again in your community, but whenever I go to airtel outlet they replied there are not any such services in your apartment. You have to wait, Now my modem and handset lying with no use. They wasted my time and investment like anything.
              2. On this issue (exciding bill on my mobile internet, and discontinue of mobile services), The bill states my Credit limit as Rs.2600/-.Inspite of this, my Usage was allowed till around Rs 9000/- and Plus (19k till date now), I wasn’t informed when my usage exceeded my credit limit.
              3. Point to be note here before this I majorly called airtel to pls don’t bar my connection whenever it touches 2600/- of my limit. Surprisingly this time they wait till 19000/- amazing services. I recived first sms of excedding limit of (when it reached 19000/-) on 24 april that is approx. after 20-30 days after I received the bill.
              3. The Airtel representative continuously harassed me over the phone for a month when I was trying for a solution, they are ready to listen but after hearing all the bark they said, just pay and Enjoy!.
              4. Airtel authorities aren’t answering my mails/Queries (sent around 10-12 mails on daily basis). I mark mail daily they only reply with “we will get back to you in three working days” and never get back.
              5. They never refer to the actual cause of the problem just look into the billing amount and start arguing and harass.

              Kindly look into the matter at the earliest.
              For reference I am having all the email communication with airtel and airtel must be having all my conversation with them as every call is payable and recorder for their training purposes.

              Airtel Internet Conx — Paid for Internet Conx but never connected

              Dear Sir,

              I would like to express the kind of bad experience which I am facing until today about the Airtel Internet connection. I met an Airtel agent name Manoj from Airtel office, Bhikaji Cama Place . It was on the 01-feb-10, The next day he came and took all my details and money for the new installation and told me that I would be getting connection within 4days which never happen. Everyday I called him but he is an expert in making different stories everyday. Is this how Airtel is flourishing their business. I am a fool with such a crap company where I need to learn my lesson and disclose to all my friends before they fall into the prey. Airtel has lost a valued customer, which is going to be a big impact for them to close down. I wonder how Airtel works when it takes 5days to a max to get an MTNL connection. Until today I am without a connection nor my money has been refunded.

                    I have postpaid plan and I just using ezmail value added service. Its working good.
                    If I want to stop this service i just go through sms and write like STOP and send
                    on 121 and its always give me name of the service and I can easily stop the service .
                    But airtel not provide good service with another service provider like "Fusion Lounge Subscription Service" . Its not listed out with (Start/ Stop) service and suddenly deduct amount. If I want to stop this service directly with (Start/ Stop) service then its not showing me list of other service like "Fusion Lounge Subscription Service".                         I have activated DND service on my number +91-[protected], even though today I get unwanted calls from Banks for credit cards and many other things. And the important information which has to get via sms will not be recived by DND service activation. If I want to get an sms from JUST DAIL they say me that your number has DND service activated.

After that i am regularly complaining but still my complaint is pending. this is realy very shamefull for such a big company. I want the action must be taken within a day.

                                I want to bring this issue in your notice that Airtel is very bad service provider in Indian market.
                                I have a prepaid airtel number and i was working in office and my mobile was on the desk on still mode(Doing nothing).After few minutes,i started getting messages from AL Hello Tunes that "Thank you for choosing HelloTunes.You have been charged Rs 30 for 30 days.To stop this service call [protected]"

                                and got the second msg also that "you have been charged Rs. 15.Your Hello Tune has been changed to Humko Tumse Pyar Hai.To search your favourite sog sms to 578785."

                                Its a trick to charge customer for any Value Added Services...I have a sympathy with Airtel that they are doing such crap with the customers.I have a better idea for Airtel that they should stand outside Mandir with a katora in hand.What a pathetic service provider that they didn't even ask for customer's approval for such services.

                                what a disgusting service provider airtel is? Total 45 Rs has been deducted fro my balance.After that i call Airtel customer care and the person on other side aarguing with me that i had subscribe the service and when i asked him to transfer the line to manager then he disconnected the line.For the sake of chillad(few money),airtel doing such disgusting thing...

                                Biggest mistake that i have Airtel Service.......

                                A very bad service provider as well as customer care also. Now i am very much frustrated and irritated from the Airtel service.
                                Request you to kindly look into this matter and take strict action agaist this service provider.

                                The same thing happened with me yesterday. I was charged 45 for Hello tunes, even though I never subscribed to it. I angrily called the customer service and they refunded my money.

                                For english literate people it is easy to understand what happened and they can call CS dept. The real misery is with the people who cannot read english and thus never realize why their balance goes down by Rs.30 every month without talking. My maid servant pays Rs90 per month because he was automatically subscribed to cricket scores and caller tunes !!

                                  Airtel- I am user of Airtel network services. My no. is [protected]. My problem is that I can’t keep balance in my account because of their deductions. Whenever I recharge my no. they activate services daily n cut money from my balance. My balance always remains NIL. I have to use my cell only for incoming calls. I am afraid that if I keep balance they again cut all the money. I have complained so many times but they says that they can’t do help for me. I am not only there are so many users who also facing this type of problems but no one have the courage to come in front.
                                  I request you please take necessary step against above service provider. and refund me my money.

                                  I m not satisfy with u. When there is a balance in my account I m facing same problem. Plz take a permanent action. Tomorrow I called 121(customer care). Ur representative call me for hold. I waited about 16 minutes but no one attend call again and finally I have to cut the call and they charge 3 rs for it. My services automatically activated. Amount is deducted from my balance. I request u do not give me stress next time. I have registered for DND on 27th april. my registration no. is S[protected]. U asked me for 7 days but right now I m receiving ur service call n msg. I request u that plz don't allow me next time for complain against u.

Although i missed the call, but i am concerned about how did the calling person got my number. I would appreciate it if you would look into this matter.

                                      Hi All

                                      I thought the customer service center in Kodambakkam is one of the worst but latter found that its not just one location but the concept of customer service itself is not there with the private cellular service providers. All of the private service providers are computerised,a good thing, but they dont seem to understand the need of automation.

                                      Recently I had lost my mobile and wanted to get a duplicate sim card and went to the Kodambakkam Airtel Customer Service center run by a francise. That day there was power cut for the entire day (9 to 5) and hence when I went there they informed me that they cannot help. When I asked them what is the next nearest center it was T.Nagar, but that was also without power and the next one was Anna Nagar, but they don't know if there is Power in Anna Nagar.

                                      If the entire operation for a customer service center is Computerised, then how is it that the customer service center is functioning without a UPS backup for the computers/connectivity. When I raised this issue with the customer service center, they said they dont have any minimum requirement like having a UPS backup for being a service center.

                                      Then I talked to the customer service for checking if Anna Nagar center is with power backup they said they dont have such data. When I asked to talk to the Manager he also was not able to help and forwarded me to the Nodal officer who only said I need to go and see if anna nagar has power or go to Kodambakkam when they have Power and can take a feedback for further use (without commitment to inform me of action taken on this).

                                      I think TRAI has to put in some basic regulation on customer service like
                                      - number of center per area and per customer base - so that people get access to customer service
                                      - minimum ablity to work across Power outrage

                                      A typical customer service example.
                                      1) When I had told you what is the issue - Poor customer service at Kodambakkam center and stating that you dont have even simple Power backup for the computer when you claim only 100% online working how do you expect better customer service.
                                      2) You asked me to give all contact details - phone number, address, etc but not your contact number and gave only generic email id to respond to
                                      3) When I had not yet sent you the details within two days, you assumed that the issue is closed.

                                      I would prefer you post all questions you have on this forum and I can respond to that as I don't want to wase my time on telephone with you after 10 time calling your center and nodal office on this issue when unresponed/indifferent reply, so if you have any questions that you want to understand beyond what I had given in the issue let me know in this forum.

                                        Airtel Landline services SUCK!! The custmer care simply disconnects the phone whiel you are discussing your problems with them...the customer (s)care insists that the problem reported by us is not correct and whatever we may say, they just mention that there is or was a problem with the handset installed on the fixed line!!

                                        Amazing Airtel....Airtel has just lost it completely and they are not willing to provide any call details even if you view the bills online. They just ant you to pay up blindly whatever they ask for!

                                        My phone was disconnected for a period of 10 days without any reason and now they are denying that this was ever the problem with the phone.

                                        Airtel is a FRAUD and they are simply cheaing the innocent users...We had written to the nodal officer and they neither answered the calls nor did they responded to the emails. Please be careful with Airtel, look out for other options around before signing up the services with them.

                                        Airtel Landline — Poor Service

                                        I have been using airtel landline since 1 year, i have subscribed for only landline plan, but they have added broadband scheme into it for which i have been paying the broadband rent every month

                                        i have lodged many complaints in customer care but they never listen to customer's complaint, they think that customer have enough time to call on customer care for their complanits but they never listen to them. they are only to extract money from the customer and fulfill their pockets with their heavy scheme.

                                        i am resident of faridabad where no tata indicom and mtnl service provider is present. We have also applied for BSNL services but they are worse than airtel, so i don't have other option except airtel but they are so dumb that they dont bother of customer complaints

                                        Your call centers are untrained and do not understand the problems notified to them and they keep insisting that whatever they are mentioning on the system is what the best way to describe the issue!!                                         I hope you remember me and would be able to recall our discussions a year back on the poor services by Airtel!

                                        Just to site another example, I hd lodged a complaint with your call center on 13th March 2012 at 22:59, ticket #: [protected], which was to be attended on the 14th March 2012 by 10:30m.

                                        I called again as a follow up to this complaint and I was informed by yoru agent Vijay Bhargava that your engineer Rakesh had attended the complaint on the 14th March 2012 at 09:16am and he had met my wife...just to inform you, my wife is a working women and leaves the house by 8:00am every morning and I leave fo work around 09:30am or so...Rakesh had closed the ticket on his own and your call center agent refused to pass the call to the supervisor as I wanted to escalate the matter!

                                        Needless to say, I strongly believe that Airtel services are absolutely useless and good for nothing! If this is the treatment metted to an ex-employee (I havd worked with Airtel for 4 years approx). then, don;t know what would be happening to all those innocent people who have been duped by your sales team to sign up for the services and pay a good amount each month to Airtel.

                                        Letr me knwo what you would like to say in defending this incident, I would be waiting to hear the story.
