Most of the services (Value Added services) in airtel wont take any user consent before enrolling mobile users to the service. Services like mobile TV, heart break-up packs, other value added services will be shown over the net and if the user clicks on it unknowingly/accidental the services wont ask for any confirmation or a take a consent about the charges (with a check-box) that would be levied on that services. Also the charges that would be levied on the service would be shown towards the corner which wont drag the attention of the user.

I have been charged money unnecessarily for mobile tv even though I am not interested in it. When we make a call to the customer care the only answer we get from them is that we have shown interest in the service and opted for it. I strongly believe that it is always better to take the user consent (either with a yes or no option or a check-box ) before enrolling them to any value added service.

All the members in my family were enrolled in to one or other value added service unknowingly/accidental. I believe lot of people using the mobile services from different operators are facing similar issues.

AirTel — For Valueadded Services.

Dear Sir,
I Mr.Ray Satish .Y., my contact no.[protected], using this airtel no.from last one year.
I have complain regarding the value added service, which is the Jumanni alert service. which is chargeable, is not activated from my side, Inspite of doing serval complain from last two month & visiting their relationship center, they have not resolved mine problem, inspite of this, they have added & have send in the bill. Therefore i have not paid the bill of the last month.
I hope that this problem will be resolved as soon as possible .

AirTel — Value Addition Services

Dear Sir,

I would like to draw your urgent attention to the unfair promotional practices carried out by Airtel & other mobile service providers. The point of debate this time is the Value Addition Services offered by the mobile service providers in the form of Caller Tunes also popularly known as Hello Tunes/Dialler Tunes or Welcome Tunes.

Its not long ago that the introduction of caller tune facility was regarded as a great value added service until it fell prey to the malicious promotional practices of the mobile service providers like Airtel. To be precise, I have an Airtel no. on which I have activated the caller tune facility for which I am charged Rs. 30/- every month by Airtel. Additionally, Rs. 15/- is deducted for any song selection as a Caller tune. Initially, I really enjoyed the service until I heard a much uninvited tone which said, “is gaane ko apni caller tune banana ke liye * aur 9 dabayen, gaane ka shulk 15 rupaye aur masik shulk sirf 30 rupaye”. This promotional AD spans 6-7 seconds which starts from the very moment the receiver’s mobile rings. Important to note is that almost 80-90% of the times, a person attends the call in the first 6-7 seconds which renders the Caller Tune facility redundant.

Now, the million dollar question is “why are these mobile companies carrying out their advertising & promotions out of customers’ pocket; why are we being charged for promotions executed by them; do I pay my hard earned money to satisfy their advertising needs?”

As recompense, I would like to seek answers to my above question to which I strongly doubt would be any justifications with these mobile companies. Hence, I strongly protest this malpractice & demand immediate cessation of the same.

AirTel — Value Added Services (VAS)

Unauthorized charges have been deducted from my account yet again. It seems Airtel have stooped to such a low level to tide over their decreasing profits that they hve been activating some unvalued services without the approval of customers. Its a sincere request to all to please DONATE SOME ALMS/ CHARITY to BHARTI AIRTEL.

I agree, the Airtel IVRS system does not work. I had started an Internet service pack with them through the IVRS system. I was shocked to see my phone bill indicating that the internet service had not been activated. I have been pursuing this issue with Airtel for the last one week but no resolution is in sight.

    Hi! my self Guruprasad working for Grohe india Pvt ltd in Bangalore and using airtel corporate sim given by my company. without prior request for internet for corporate sim airtel has activated internet service to my no. and according to their bill i had used apprx 560MB internet browsing thru my no. and my company has got Rs 9910/- as internet bill and my co. has deducted that amount from my salary as per my company rules.

    Airtel — fraud in internet billing

    i had a connection of airtel internet connection. They started giving me bills at so higher charges. I was shocked. I contacted them but no response

    AirTel — Internet Bill Problem

    I am using Airtel Broad band connection. In my Sep'08 bill, I got that on a perticular day airtel charged Rs. 1500 Approx for internet using, but i didn't use that. I lodged a complaint on 4th Oct and again on 1st Nov, but till today i couldn't get any call from Airtel.
    When i got this month bill, it is showing that i have to deposit it IMMEDIATELY else my phone will be disconnected.

    i am haveing a mobile nokia5310 hand set.and taken settings for internet on mobile but iam not able to semd a mails from yahoo id to my friends from my mobile.from last 20 days i am faceing this problem.you now i contacted to customer care so many times but they are not able givig the compleet information, and today all so i am contactd to the c care stiil they are not giveing the information.and one more thing i want give complaint on airtel c care.officers allso to day i am spoken to 3 peoples one is mr syed and vinodkumar.(hyderbad) thye are directly disconcted the line 3times while i am speeking.pls chek and do the need ful

    AirTel — Mobile Internet Billing

    Airtel charged exhorbitant GPRS billing without informing customer about plan details. The activation cost is not explained by sales professionals. Total misselling and charging. The company could not provide proof of activation of services and puts the blame on customers. Fraudulently charges Rs 15 per MB usage while unlimited usage is only Rs 500 per month these days. Airtel blames customer for not selecting a right plan, while no plan is explained and blind charges to Post paid bill amount. No redressal. Beware
    I am sending you an email to [protected]@in.airtel.com with all the conversations that have been engaged with Nodal Officer and Apellate and no acceptable response has been received. They have not even understood the issue. My contact details are also sent.
    Your company and Airtel is both involved in this scam.
    Go ahead and drag both those son of to court.

      Hello,
      I had recharged my Airtel dongle sim no. [protected] with 3G pack of Rs.255 on 29 May 2013 but I am getting 2G speeds on it. It shows 3G on my device but the speeds are very low like in 2G. I have even checked it using in another areas, but still getting 2G speeds. When I contacted customer care firstly they didn't solved my issue and said it will be resolved only after 6 June 2013. I am facing lot of difficulties due to this.

      AirTel — regarding 3g recharge

      Today i have recharge my airtel sim with 750 for 3g internet speed. My 3g is already activated. But after i recharge i dont get any increace in my internet speed before. i recharge i ask to customer care regarding speed they told me after doing the recharge of 750 i got the internet speed upto 300 to 400 kbps but im geting the speed of 10 to 15 kbps after the recharge of 750. Its working same like odnery gprs which works on 2g. M trying to cal customer care but they are not giving any response to me. Plz help me thank you.

        I am was using airtel boardband connection at Hyderabad for more than 4.5 years and recently relocated back Bangalore.
        Airtel customer care at Hyderabad, promise me to have airtel broadband connection re-install back at my location in bangalore with in 3-4 days. Based on the conversation, i had opted for Airtel broadband connection shifting. It’s been more than a month, i could not able to get connection back in spite of 4 to 5 complaint (escalations/follow-ups) at Airtel customer care. Airetel representative collected all the proofs moth back and every time they will provide connection with in 24 hrs.
        I don’t have any clue that's happening. every now and then i get a call from different person from airtel and gets to hear new reasons and excuses.
        it’s been such a bad experience to get a broadband connection back.
        Even getting Airtel customer care assistance through phone itself is a pathetic experience... such a bad IVS system i had not experience so far from any customer care... i had wait for 20-25 mins to talk to customer care....

        Note: I am one of customers using airtel mobile service for more than 12 years … Now i am thinking to taking a boradband connection to different service provider. I am curious to know what’s happening with Airtel.

        Airtel — crappy customer care

        1. Every cell in my body revolts in disgust at their crappy crappy customer care.

        2. I wish all the best to those who call those customer care execs.

        You can't punch in the date in your date of birth column. Just sick sick programmers and incompetent indifferent managers. I feel like throwing up.

        4. Tried calling them. Got disconnected twice. Nobody gives a .

        5. I could go on like this. Their crappy crappy "mCheck Pay Airtel" micro, nano crap window, their clueless customer care execs, etc etc.

        6. They got millions and millions of subscribers but their service is crappy crappy crap .

        Bharti Broadband — New Connection Horrible Experience

        Airtel Broadband connection - on 7th August I have made full payment by cheque given KYC Document and filled the form.. I was assured that the internet will be installed in the next two days.. Its been a week now.. my form number is 259592.. Mr. Santosh and his supervisors from Bharti either dont recieve my phone or they say it will be installed today itself.. Horrbile Service from Bharti..
        I am sending you the contact details in the prescribed mail ID, the cheque that was issued to me due to your inability to provide the service got rejected due to technical grounds and I was expecting a fresh issuance of cheque which I have never recieved.

        Some somewhere is terribly wrong with Team Bharti!

          HI, i ma started iEnglish service in Airtel DTH on[protected] and and service started and i using 1 day. and Rs, 30/- deducted from my account. after 1 day i am gating SMS like "Channel update: iEnglish service is being stopped on airtel digitalTV w.e.f. 15/4/2013.The paid amount will be credited to your digitalTV account by 25/4/2013" but still am not gating refund from airtel am alos log compline in custmer care but no resloution.

          2nd issue i am facing problem in vedio quality and i log compline in custmer care. after 2 day whithout visit at my home and without my confermation compline closed. and gating SMS your comline has beed closed and issue resolve.

          franckly saying airtel DTH service is very very poor dont take airtel new connection.

          I am having airtel prepaid connection. I have a lot of problem about the service so provided by the Airtel. There is always network problem so i am never able to make the calls whenever i really need to make the same.Also my Balance gets deducted without any reason.When tried to talk with the customer care executives, either it does not get connected and by chance if it gets connected, the executives are not able to answer any of the queries.Also they are rude while answering.

          Airtel — poor service in roaming

          Sir,
          I am using a AIRTEL postpaid no[protected],

          when i came for roaming, i face lot's of problem...
          1] i was facing network problem - (even i was in a city range) - i get a message " network can't access".

          by the same time how are try to contact me and they get a message " the dialed no is not in use".

          2) then i can't view my intermediate bill statement, for that i contact airtel - customer care(compliant no:[protected], they replied me this is a technical problem, we try to rectify two working days, but now 10 days gone, now i contact again, they tell, we can't help you. you can contact Tamil nadu customer care. but still the problem is not salve.

          i thought, when ever i was in roaming.. i face like this problem ... and they are not help less.
          in this bill.. lot of price difference was there,
          (contact TN customer care is chargeable ... )

          please give me a solution as soon as possible...

          Airtel — Poor roaming connectivity and poor customer care service

          I am a prepaid customer of Airtel GSM for last 3 years. Now I am having a Airtel Prepaid sim of Secunderabad for last one month. Since my arrival in Kanpur there is no incoming or outgoing service in my mobile no. [protected] . People sitting at Customer care of Kanpur Region even not knowing the location of Secunderabad/ Hyderabad and their parent state. When I told them that it is AP then they were asking about the location of AP. Further the number of AP Customer care told by them [protected] is not existing or incorrect. when I further queried about the correctness of no. they have roudely disconnected the line stating that my no. belongs to other region and this much only they can do. when I complained about the same to his superior, he was simply favoured his collegue (If required I can tell the name of person). Kindly look into the matter.

          Airtel DTH — Poor service and not resolving issues

          I have Airtel DTH connection (Big mistake!). Most of the time it does not work and following message is displayed on TV screen:

          "Inserted view card is not an Airtel view card or it may not be inserted properly. Please insert a valid viewing card correctly again.
          Error Code: 2"

          Even after several complains, they do not resolve the issue. Worst part is that, they mark and complain as resolved without taking any action on this.

          I am tired of complaining and still there is no resolution. Is there any way I can escalate the issue to get it resolved permanently. Is there anybody who can help me in taking legal action against them?

          AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Poor Service and Wrong Information

          I had purchased Airtel digital TV connection in Oct 2009.(1750/- plan). I was entitled to get 15% cash back as per the terms and conditions provided by Airtel. However even after the 3 months, the amount has not been refunded back into the account.

          The customer care is highly un-responsive and customers are taken for a ride.

          AirTel — Poor quality of service

          Dear Sir/Madam:

          Good afternoon.

          I have several ongoing issues with your Bharti Airtel Ltd which are as listed below. I need to put it into one mail so that it will be easy to comprehend and understand to other parties who may be invloved in this matter

          1. I had paid a refundable deposit for international roaming in the month of February 2009 for the number [protected]. Upon my return from Dubai I had requested for refund of the deposit. I have several ackinowledged letters as well as emails to support my statement. Till date this has not been resolve and the amount paid has not been refunded.

          2. I had again in the month of February 2010 paid a refundable deposit of Rs. 4500 for activation of international roaming, for travel to Europe, on the mobile number [protected]. The roaming was not activated and no reason has been given for this up until now. Instead, without my permission my April 2010 bill amount has been adjusted. Please note that one of your cusotmer care representatives called me and informed me that a cheque for Rs. 4500 was being mailed to me and I have a record of this. I was utterly surprised to hear that the bill has been adjusted without my permission. When I called 121 to enquire about this matter, i was told to hold the line and the call was disconnected. I called 198 and wa again disconnected.

          3. I was billed for internatinal SMS's in the past month and the current month for the number [protected]. I again called customer care and told them that all SMS's sent were to local numbers and not to UK, country code 0044. It is elementary that you cannot send SMS's to local numbers by prefixing 0044.           i am brought a new connection of AIRTEL after that i have done recharge in that no.
          just after two days my no. is barred and the reason behind that the retailer submit rong document for that no.
          after that when i am call customer care for that they told me that submit your documents again but when i am go to thier office they told me that your no. is parrmanently barred.

          I am Ranjit Srivastava. I have Airtel DTH connection (customer id no [protected]). At the time of installation, Engineer have not properly fix the dish resulting cracks in wall.
          After 2-3 months of installation, I am facing problem of "No Signal (error code B001)".

          Everytime I lodged complaint, engineer is not visiting to my house on single conmplaint. I have to follow-up 3-4 times. And when engineer comes to my house, he does the temproary solution by just moving direction of dish.

          After few days again this problem comes.

          Last time I lodged complaint at starting of July (before 5th) for which no engineer have visited to me house till 19-July.

          I am fedup with the very poor quality of service by Airtel DTH.

          Please advise me what can I do for this.

          I have two DTH connections at my home in Faridabad. I had registered a complaint with customer care vide regn no 3840621 because none of my sets were receiving any signals since past three days. I was told that the issue would be resolved by 4 pm on Monday, i.e. 13-Sept-2010. However, when no one contacted me till 5:30 pm, I rang up the customer care again, only to be told that now my resolution time is 5:30 pm on 14-Sept.

          I had faced the same problem last month also, during which time it took a week's time to get the problem resolved. The service charges were duly deducted from my account, but apparently it was just a temporary fix, as the issue has resurfaced now.
          Not sure how long I can bear this undue harassment. If this continues, I would be forced to switch to some other service provider.

On 13th they told me that the same will be started very soon but when i called on 14th they denied for starting services for national channels and told me to recahrge for paid channles than only the free channels will released.

          When we speak with the dealer he replies only to speak with cutomer care serices and gives the toll free number which is a recorded CD and by the time it gets connected it gets disconnected automatically.

          I had raised a complaint 2 weeks back and service request number is 4421563.
          I was not getting any channel, the error being, "No Signal Found" and raised complaint.

          After calling continuously for 3 days, an engineer came to my home(Don't know his name) and worked for 3 hours.
          I was delayed by 3 hours to go to office but still waited for them to fix.
          By the end, i got some channels but some were still not coming.
          And also, to add on, this is not fixed, it varies every time.
          Then they said, problem is with the set top box(which we purchased from airtel 3 months back)
          and hence will come and replace it with new one the very next day.

          Now it is one week and no one has come and I feel very pathetic about the whole behaviour.
          No one is picking my call now and Customer care says the service request has been closed.
          How is this possible?This is how they deal with their customers?
          We had paid 5 months rent and took airtel dish which I now think was a mistake from our part.
          Very sorry to say but horrible customer service they have. Very very disappointing.

          call back within 4 hours or 1 hours. Some time I told them that I want
          to talk with Supervisor then they response me that Supervisor is busy
          I call them that I can hold more than an hour but they response me
          that he will call back you. But I cant get any response.After that I
          made another complain on 02-May-2011 vai e-mail then I got a reply
          mail that we are we shall revert to you within 24 hours. But again I
          didnt get any response.
          So Sir/Mam I requested to you plz do needfull and Plz
          dont take my problem as an individual person these types of problem
          facing lots of consumers with difference issue. But the companies dont
          care to solve these problems.

          On date[protected] I hv register complaint of audio problem in airtel customer care, they hv suggested that there engineers will come and rectify the problme, engineer arrived and change the direction of dish antena, and went away, next day he again arrived with the audio cable and charged 100 rs for the service but problem was not rectified and then engineer told that the problem is in hd setoff box but whenever I called in airtel customer care they commited false commitment and sent the massage that your problem has been resolved but actually problem was not solved. Airtel customer care told that your address is wrong, if my address is wrong then how their engineers reach to my home and changed the cable and carged rs 100 for the same.           I have Airtel DTH connection (Big mistake!). Most of the time it does not work and following message is displayed on TV screen:

          "Inserted view card is not an Airtel view card or it may not be inserted properly. Please insert a valid viewing card correctly again.
          Error Code: 2"

          Even after several complains, they do not resolve the issue. Worst part is that, they mark and complain as resolved without taking any action on this.

          I am tired of complaining and still there is no resolution. Is there any way I can escalate the issue to get it resolved permanently. Is there anybody who can help me in taking legal action against them?

            I am no getting calls, when some one try to call me they hear the message like "the person you are trying to call is either switched off or out of calling area"even though i have full signal in my mobile .and i am unable to do out going calls too, and i gave a complaint to the customercare regarding the problem they told me that the problem will be solved with in 48 hours, i have given the complaint one week back till now the problem is not solved

            Since, the airtel network infrastructure burned down in July 2008, its network coverage has seriously diminished. Especially in Anushakti Nagar-Mumbai where from about 40000 residents, 12000 have an airtel connection. Absoloutely no network coverage in the whole of the colony, leave homes where the network is absolutely zilch, also in open spaces, and you need to run here and there to get a single inkling of overage. Many have started shifting base to odafone as it gives better coverage atleast. Airtel wake up before you lose your customer base and start working on your coverage in mumbai especially Anushakti Nagar

            i am facing the problem of no network at all in many parts of nashik including Devlali.
            the problem is since 27th November. The Airtel agents here say that because of not paying dues & taxes the government have demolished the airtel towers.
            Please confirm the same, so that we can change our servise providers as soon as possible.
            And we are expecting some compensation regarding the inconvience faced my all the airtel customers.

            I am a customer of airtel & am using airtel from 3yrs.My experience with this co. was very bad coz. of network issue its ok when u r outside home but as soon as u enterd in side the house ur network goes out. a years ago i complian to the customer care & they solved this out too. but now again its happening .

            Im a Punjab airtel customer. I faced problem of no network when I came to Bellary Karnataka in January though I paid Rs. 188 roaming free. It didnt help and I had to get a duplicate sim after going back after a month.
            Now I came to Karnataka yesterday and the same thing has happened though I recharged with Rs. 306/- (No. [protected]) and my wife's No. with Rs. 188 ([protected]). Im not able to make or receive calls since it says no network. My wife and I are facing the same problem. All other networks work except Punjab Airtel. Pl resolve as the numbers are important. Or else the case would be dealt with legally as my money is lost and many important telephone communication is also lost.

              Ipad has no dialling option.......I m struck in a system flaw since I don't have an iPhone to make the call to 59059 so that my num is verified....

                My number is [protected]. On 25 April 2013at between 1 AM to 4 AM i
                called to customer care for unblock my outgoing calls but when i told
                to operator he told me that why are you calling. Why did you need to
                call late night and where did you call.Today i lost Rs.26000 in
                business on behalf of that block outgoing calls. and your operator
                don't know about it. today it happened with me. Maybe tomorrow it will
                happens another one.You hired unsincered operator that purpose is only
                attend the duty they do not solved the customer problem and misbehave
                with customer . Yesterday i requested to port the number then they
                call me to don't port it and we can solved the problem but they can't.
                They activated service automatically on my number and debit the money
                from my mobile balance. I received more than 40 company call(computer
                call) in two days whereas DND is activated on my number.

                Airtel — getting computer calls

                I am currently visiting europe, and have been getting regular calls on my cell from a number, [protected] . Since recieving the call would be expensive ( due to international roaming), thus i always try to call back the number and its always switched off, even when i call immediately after recieving the call, it comes as switched off.

                Can it be a computerised number ? This is a nuisance and disturbance.

                Airtel — misbehave by the customer care boy

                i called to the customer care service to the airtel on 07/03/2010 sunday at 02:20am for my queries buy the guy responding to me really disappoint with his rude behaviour. he argue with me n said is thid the time to call go n take sleep when i said its the duty of you to clear the queries of your customer he says you come n do the job. i said then why should co. pays you he said you are not my payer sur bt i am the loyal and old customer of your company i have 8 airtel connections 6 postpaid and 2 prepaid in my family earlier i was quite satisfied but this thing really disappoint me. i called from [protected](prepaid) mb. no. you can check his rude behave from your records for internal training at above time and date. and he also said you will see wht i will do with your this no. now you will cry i said ok and he deducted rs.30 from my balance in my pre paid no. when i asked about his name he suddenly disconnect the cal so its a request as ur old and loyal customer kindly take strict action against this and refund my balance otherwise this will make a negative impact on the goodwill of your such a prestigies co.

                AirTel — Misbehavior of the Customer Service

                HI,

                I have been getting repeated misbehavior calls from airtel on my mobile [protected]. Inspite of paying all the bills, airtel is calling me from[protected] and asking me to pay the outstanding.
                I have paid all the bills sent to me. When I asked her to send me the outstanding she asked me to wait for one more day. And now at 14:40 pm on 21, April, 2011 she asked me 10 times if I have received the bill, if I have checked the email.
                It gives me an impression that all the employees of airtel and dumb and stupid because they cannot understand statements in one go.

                Please stop all this abuse and do not disturb me.

                AirTel — Misbehave by customer care

                Sir,
                In my number [protected] the caller tune was activated automatically. I came to know at 9:09 pm. Regarding the issue I talked to Mr. Chandan Kumar. But the way of talking was not good & he disconnected the call. Again tried to contact customer care but the customer care service was deactivated. Then called from a different number [protected] at 10: 25 pm and talked to Mr. Vimal but he didn't respond well. He misbehaved with me and given the number of Mr Vikrant [protected] and said do whatever you can do against me.
                Please take appropriate action against the respective customer care executive Mr. Chandan & Mr Vimal.

                  I opted for Airtel Broadband connection by applying online, and it was promptly responded by couple of your executives. These representatives (Hemant Kumar – [protected]) of Airtel took filled form; relevant documents (Address proof and PAN card) and Rs. 500 (Form CEF Nos. 3365083) for plan Rapid 80 GB on 24th May 2013. They assured me that in couple of days I’ll get the connection done. But on asking about Rs. 500 waived off in case of an online booking offer, got a negative response!! In next 3 days I receive some calls for feedback of the service, “Service”? I updated them that the connection has not been done yet! Now for every other call received got an assurance of getting it in another couple of days. But when nothing happened, contacted Airtel Broadband Customer Support, Sector 7 Dwarka office for Airtel Broadband and also [protected]@in.airtel.com and all I got nothing convincing and each gave their different opinion.
                  1. Airtel Broadband Customer Support – As per them they have SLA of 7 days and will definitely get the connection within these days… But nothing happened.
                  2. Sector 7 Dwarka office for Airtel Broadband – As per them they already had their “Engineer” looked in and have some technical problem which will be resolved in another 5-7 days and then I would definitely get the connection.
                  3. [protected]@in.airtel.com (Rahul Kumar) – “We regret to inform you that we are unable to provide you the airtel broadband connection at the requested premises, as the given area is technically not feasible for our services to provide with.

                  Further, the refund amount has been processed and will be delivered at your premises within a time period of 30 working days. ”

                  Now am unable to understand what actually the case is and should not be they have proper operating process, for customer and not to harass customer?
                  Airtel should have checked and looked into their technical capability to provide new connections before making any fake commitments or they should not have send their collecting agencies person(which always in hurry to collect document coz they are going to get money) to collect document.

                  Firstly I think in these scenarios they owe an explanation on entire thing, an apology for all the trouble and harassment along with the connection ASAP. And definitely work for better process.
                  Else, if at all the refund has to be initiated then too they owe an explanation on entire thing, an apology for all the trouble and harassment. Why we have to pay and wait for 40-50 days, make all the calls, take up all the mental harassment and could not imagine of the service for which you have logically already paid for.

                  So now you people tell me isn’t a frustrating process, why you people are running this big company if you cannot provide good services.

                  Please help me to resolve this complain.

                  Airtel Broadband Connection — COnnection not provided and refund was not processed

                  Hello,

                  I am amit mudgal, mobile number : [protected]. I applied a new airtel broadband connection on 6/08/2011 in Bangalore.

                  TBLR of the application is 273912. Manager that gave me the connection was Prakasha. The amount I paid for the connection was Rs 999. I gave a ICICI Check numbered 663842 to BHARTI AIRTEL LTD. Money got debited from my account on 12/08/2011.

                  I was supposed to get the connection in 2 working days (09/08/2011). But till 22/08/2011 i dint got the connection. In between i raised multiple complaints to get the connection.
                  Complaint Numbers for getting the connection: 2423350.

                  On 22/08/2011 i raised cancellation request. Request Number : 2614632. It was told to me that refund will be processed in 8 to 10 working days.

                  I again verified multiple times but noting has happened. I had raised following complaints:

                  Complaint Number: 3205638 (I don't remember the exact details for this call)
                  Complaint Number: 3395002 (It was told to me by 10/09/2011, i will definitely get my refund back)

                  But when i din't got any response back from airtel. I called airtel again today (10/09/2011). They are telling me new stories that refund department has not received any application. Though as per airtel records they have received that on 10/08/2011, stating installation can't be possible (got this info from customer care executive).

                  I have raised another complaint on 10/09/2011. Complaint Number: 3806998. This complaint has to be resolved by 17/09/2011. But i seriously doubt that.

                  Following are my questions:
                  1. Why was I given the connection, when the site doesn't had enough connection (I was contacted by airtel itself for a new connection)?
                  2. Why is refund not made even though numerous complains are raised? Are their any SLA's involved? If SLA's are their then provide me the copy , so that i can verify any take necessary action.
                  3. Why customer care executive disconnects the call? I had faced this as the biggest issue. I had to make around 4 calls each time to raise one complaint.

                  Finally i wanted to say. I had already suffered enough i guess, made enough calls etc. I believe if the problem is not resolved by 17th of September (17/09/2011) and my questions are not answered. I had no option but to go consumer form. Please understand the gravity of the situation and kindly process my refund ASAP.

                    I am appalled by the responses that I am getting from Airtel executives over last few days. I am tired of explaining the situation and everyone seems to be calling with either no knowledge of my problem or with some other agenda.

                    In my earlier mail and/or discussion with Airtel, I never mentioned that 444 was not credited to me. I had clearly stated that I did payment of Rs444 TWICE and both time it went into some dedicated account and not to my primary account because the 444 plan has recently changed by Airtel.
                    I had been doing recharges of Rs.444 from freecharge.in since long for full talk time, but this time due to change in 444 plan it got into a one month package that I don’t want. So, total of 888/- was gone into a plan that I need to finish in one month. I cannot even use Internet from this dedicate account. I cannot presume myself finishing even 444/- within a month.

                    I had a discussion with executive of Airtel, and I was assured that one of transaction of Rs 444/- will be rolled back. Since then I got calls from Airtel where somebody says there was no transaction on 20th and other says it is already credited. I am tired of getting calls from Airtel and explaining the problem again and again.

                    Today I received mail from Airtel stating -
                    We wish to inform you that you have already received benefit associated with recharge of Rs.444/-. Please find benefit associated with recharge of Rs.444/-:
                    Denomination-Rs.444/-
                    Benefit- Talk time of Rs.444/- in dedicated account 5
                    Validity- 30 days
                    You can balance and validity by dialing *123*5#.


                    I am now sick of the way Airtel executives are handling this. They are not even trying to understand the problem here.

                      Sir i have recharged with rs.8 for 3g internet but after i recharged it does not connect to internet and showed no network access, i asked customer care for help they said me to keep main balance above rs.1 i did, after that it connected but my main balance deducted rs.4 and again it does't connect. i left morning i try to connect because i have already 2g internet balance so it was connected and again i asked customer care now they saying you should contact at time itself now we cant do anything. pls refund my rs.4 with rs.8 3g balance.

                      I have been calling the Airtel customer care to activate an Airtel 3G connection in my cell number: [protected] 3G (compatible). I have called Airtel 121 & Airtel 12118 for the activation on 25th June & 26th June. The only response I got was 03 to 04 messages stating that activation will be done within 04 hours which is still pending. Hence I request you to kindly for expediting the same.
                      My airtel 3g data card bearing number [protected] is still not activated.I have doubt that retailer and company isinvolved in a big fraud case as now they are avoiding me.its more than 10 dys.kindly help me at least get my money back.

                          I am Dhivakar here, I have been using airtel Pre Paid connection bearing number [protected] for last couple of years. I did a recharge to mentioned number on 26 March 2013 for the amount of 500. The amount was debited to my banks account and i haven't received the recharge balance credited to my number.

                          I have connected Six times to customer service till now on same issue and still my issue have not been solved. As advised by Airtel representative i have sent them all the details required including my bank statement. When ever i call the representative, I am fooled with false promises like call back and other irritating reasons,however nothing has happened solved till now.

                          I am really unhappy with customer service and their false promises. As per TRAI, a compliant on pre paid recharges needs to be solved well within 7 days. Its been more than 2 months and nothing has happened in this case. I have spend more than 3hrs talking to airtel representative on this same issue again and again.

                          Please find my detail below. I kindly request you to get it solved at the earliest. I am happy to provide you with more information.

                          On 29.12.09 I recharged my mobile for an amount of Rs.202/- I had earlier balance of Rs145.00 totalling to Rs347.00.On 1.1.10 evening while trying to contact my friends to wish them, I was shocked that I got only Rs0.46Ps only available.

                          On saturday I contacted ur customer service dept. from your Arcot Road showroom office.I didnt get a proper response from your office to find out the reason. Of late when I contacted by dialling 121, I was told that I spoke to your service people No 56263 which in no way correct. First of all I HAVE NOT SPOKEN TO ANY OF YOUR SERVICE DEPT PEOPLE. 2. I WAS NOT AWARE OF THAT NO.3.FREQUENTLY I GET YOUR SERVICE MSG BY SMS WHICH I NEVER USE.
                          on Saturday when I spoke to one Mr.Vinod from your office I was promised that I will get the refund in full on 5.01.10 at 6.00PM.But so far I have not got any amount to my mobile.

                          On 6.01.10 while talking from your show room office to your Santhome office one representative by name Ms.Uma who gave me the recklessand arrogant reply and flatly refusing to refund the amount of Rs.347.00.
                          I have been penalised by your office for no fault of mine.Will you please look into the matter and arrange to give the refund.

                          I have recharged in Airtel for my prepaid number using the transaction ID[protected] for Rs.99. It was stated that I would get a full talk time for 99 rupees with a validity of 21 days. But I got a recharged amount for Rupee 1 and the remaining 98 rupees is shown as special account balance. I am not able to make call or send sms using the special account balance. Why has this happened?

                            THe error code that was displayed on TV was B001. I do understand the nature of the problem and have done all initial checks, later called to customer care (which is STD bangalore) and explained them about the problem. After hearing Customer Care Rep said a guy will come the next day morning(current day Sunday) and he will try to resolve it. I told him first I will not be available as my office working hours are from 9 Am to 7 PM and by the time i reach it will be some where 8 pm are so. As customer care are for 24/7 I requested them to send a guy today itself (due to unavailability), he says its not possible. I also explained if not today till next week the problem cannot be solved. I told him to connect me to supervisor, he did something the call got disconnected. Again I called to the customer care, explain patiently everything that has happened, she too did the same.

                            They dont have an answer for the question about 'will they be not charging the day that I haven't watched due to problem from airtel end'. This is the way customer care executive and Airtel treats the customers.

                              Hi,
                              I am Ramani K N from JP Nagar-7th phase, Bangalore and this mail is regarding the Airtel Broadband connection I had applied for. My application number is TBLR645496 & Installation ID is 14567907. This was the first time I opted for Airtel connection with high expectations but sorry to say I got a pathetic experience in return.

                              A representative from Airtel franchise at JP Nagar-7th phase came and agreed to provide the connection within 2-3 working days and took Rs.500/- as security deposit but after taking money he didn’t come back at all. I got some lame excuses from him when called several times. The representative’s name is Gopi his number is +91-[protected] & his manager is Gowda whose number is +91-[protected]. It seems that just for the sake of achieving targets these people are cheating the customers.

                              I hope Bharti Airtel Ltd. takes disciplinary actions against those who attract the customers just by words and not by their service & ensure thst such cases does not happen again.

                                This happened yet again with Airtel but different scenario.

                                3 months back my airtel connection (no : [protected]) got deactivated for false bill claim. I have raised a complaint on in the same forum.

                                As per that, I asked them I don't want this no anymore so once you resolve it I would like to surrender, but they said that they will keep me posted on the resolution soon. You can easily verify that in the comments section in the above link as well.

                                At that point, My card deactivated and issue was going on and I have been waiting for their call. But No further intimation or communication happened from there side.

                                After 2 months , All of a sudden, I have got a bill of Rs 955 for the period 20th April - 20th May.The thing is I dont even know whether my card got activated or not, even if it is I didn't get any kind of intimation about my card getting activated.

                                So called customer care 30th May, Told them this. He verified and told me another surprise thing that my card got blocked from 14th May for Zero usage.

                                Then I was wondering Whats going on like

                                First, my card got deactivated in feb and never got any intimation when it got activated.

                                Second, for Zero usage why should I get a bill for 955Rs?

                                Third, As per his statement,They blocked my card on may 14th for Zero usage, then
                                why the bill is till May 20th?

                                I have asked him all the above questions, he said he said he has no answer and why dont u go to Airtel outlet directly. Then I have also asked him I Want to deactivate this permanently, He said for that you have to pay the outstanding amount. Then he cut the call abruptly.

                                I Wonder whether Airtel has any process for itself. Poor customer service (Its better if you remove all the customer care services), false bill claim. No proper answer. Its pathetic.

                                I sincerely request the concerned dept to take severe action against Airtel and help me to deactivate this number without any issues.

                                AirTel — Not providing bill

                                I am having airtel postpaid connection ([protected]) and subscribe for ebill. But ebill has not been sent to me for last three months. I called customer care for that issue they suggested that bill can also be downloaded from the airtel.in. So I've started doing that but for last month even on website also itemised bill was not available again I called customer care but nothing happened. For every month just to get bill i've to call customer care and even after calling atleast 15 times nothing has been happened yet.

                                They have confirmed me that your CUG account has been activated inspite of that they have not given me the discount of CUG in my final bill.
                                I have visited the customer care centre twice, but they have not responded back.

                                  even after writing from 11th may 2013 my problem isn't resolved yet & airtel even barred my outgoing now.
                                  I tried to email airtel appellate <appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com>, but i get a reply that I didn't mentioned my mobile no. in the subject line(which i did in the format I was asked for, i.e., my ten digit no. without space or any special character.)

                                  The scene is I've been committed for plan 149 from the airtel MNP representative when i opted for MNP from IDEA to airtel, but I've been charged with plan 200 something. With no proper response from airtel I sustained myself from paying any bill amount.

                                  Airtel has now barred my outgoing w.e.f. today i.e., 1st june 2013. I called airtel 198 & asked them to un-bare my outgoing but in vein.Now I won't entertain any kind of charges/rental for this day(01/06/2013) & onwards as I wasn't allowed to use my number from 1st june i.e. today.

                                  I 'd attached scanned copy of my original subscriber form with the plan name highlighted by using paint for their reference.

                                  Airtel Postpaid Plan — Wrong Plan

                                  Sir,

                                  I, Sunil Kalamkar, was using Airtel prepaid service three months ago. A Airtel executive, Mr. Aniruddha Dahane came to me and asked to convert my prepaid to postpain in their "Padmashali" plan, which has 1500 min Airtel-to-Airtel free talktime, Rs. 150 rent, and Rs. 0.75 local outgoing. Because I have in my family large number of Airtel users, I agreed for this plan and with the fee of Rs.150, I changed it to postpai, but since then I have not got the above-mentioned plan as of yet.

                                  When I called the executive, he replied me that after first bill, it would be changed to the plan, I waited for two months and paid two bills thereafter. I was repeatedly keep calling Mr. Dahane for the same, and a week ago, I got a call from Mr. Rakesh Gjimwar who I was told is the Manager of Mr. Dahane, that if I would pay the current month bill of Rs. 250, even if the month was not completed, my Retail Plan will change to "Padmashali." I paid the bill immediately on May 29, 2008, but my plan is yet not changed.

                                  I want to file the complaint against Mr. Aniruddha Dahane and Mr. Rakesh Gajimwar.

                                  I had 02 prepaid life time sims the airtel guy visited my office & coxed me to convert it into post paid, he said that if the other no is also added i would be able to talk on other no @ 10p. Any ways i submitted the documents since i was in my office all i was carrying with me was my voter id, photo & pancard. So i paid the guy 400 rs & xerox of documents were given

                                  Now i never saw that the address mentioned om the voter id is wrong (courtsey our election commission)

                                  The guy came for verification & turned it negative. Thereafter the horrific tale started first of all after i recd the sms that the outgoing calls are stopped due to negative verification, i contacted the agent, he told me to submit some other documents & politly said "not 2 wrry i'll get it done" after making me run around from piller to post finally they said that it cannot be done, they will not refung my money.
                                  On top of it if i want to retain my old no's as prepaid i have to shell out Rs.175 per connection. So i was left high & dry of Rs 800 appox and the airtel guys went all the way laughing to the bank.

                                  Airtel Postpaid complaint — Billed for calls I never made

                                  Dear Sir,



                                  This is regarding the Airtel bill that I received for the month of October 09 for which I was billed for a 4 hour 20 minute long STD call, which I never made! I am sure that such a call was never made from my sim and can prove the same. Please read on.



                                  I have been using an Airtel postpaid corporate connection with the no:[protected] for the past two years (before that I had been using a prepaid connection). Although I have always felt that the bills that I used to receive were outragious and far beyond my actual usage I did not get ample proof for this until now. Last month on the 11th of October I received an unbilled amount of 467.59 which was around 400 rupees more than that of the previous day. I was very sure that it was a mistake from Airtel's part and immediately called up the customer care to rectify the matter. They replied saying that they can resolve it only next month(november) as they dont have the details of call history availiable to them (what sort of customer service is this? There was no transparancy at all). I very well knew that if I dont keep tab of these complaints I made Airtel will easily throw my complaint out of the window. The two reference numbers that I received from Airtel Customer care for the complaints I made are as follows F56800695 and F[protected]. I believed that the customer care executive told me and temporarily rested my case.



                                  On November 3rd I received the bill for the month and I checked for the detailed bill in the Airtel site and to my shock I saw that they have claimed that I made a 4 hour 20 minute call to an STD number that I knew and had billed me 390.00rupees for the same. I have never made such a lengthy call because I very well know that I never made a call of more than 20 minute with my number. I can prove my claim because the handset I have been using for the past 3.5 years is a Motorola L7 handset and of late (for about 3 months) the battery capacity has dwindled so much that I cannot make a call of more than 25 minutes using my cell as the battery goes dead after that. The call history of the previous 4 months is proof for that. My cell was with me and not in use for the time mentioned in the detailed bill.



                                  I made a complaint to the Airtel customer care on 10th of November and they gave me a reference number of 29290620 stating that they will resolve the matter and get back to me before 2:00pm on 12th November. But they did not get back to me. So I called up the customer care again and this time they say that the issue is resolved and that I had made that call. And when I repeatedly asked them for an explanation for the same they said they dont have any and adamantly insisted that I better pay up the bill and that the issue is resolved from their perspective. Now I am forced to pay the bill for the calls that I have not made. And because of the unbilled issue I was not able properly use the cell also for the month of October.



                                  I would like this issue to be resolved and Airtel should stop cheating its customers. Anyways I am going to discontinue using this connection as this time they crossed the limits real bad.

                                  I think you are cheating the customers. I sent a mail about the signal problem at our area, since 2+ years No actions as of now.
                                  I am roaming right now, with Rs: 66.00 card, they said 1 paisa/ minute & 1.2 paisa for roming/std, but I didn't see that is happening.
                                  You junk company billing is very differently -- I made a some std call which was about 12 seconds ... your junk system shown that 100 seconds and costing me Rs 1.50 and the same for when I received a call also. ... Is your system fault? you wanted to chaeat your customer.

                                  I hope if you are not chaning your way of working .. Dec 31 will answer airtel. Now I can say with 3 years of experence you are a company.

                                  Bharti Airtel Mobile — Wrong Bill

                                  From past 5 years I'm using Airtel mobile number [protected]. As I was verified my last month Bill number[protected] dated 21.12.2009 and the bill period 20.10.2009 top 19.11.2009.
                                  Generally I'm not receiving the itemised statement. But this time when I requested the Customer care they have sent the itemised statement to my official mail id on 04.12.2009 and when I cross check that I found that they charged September month cost also in between the October and November month bill. (in page number 6,7,11,12,13,15 and 16). When I requested to the customer care on 03.12.2009 and I was not got any answer from them. Once again I have approached customer care on 04.12.2009 then they informed me that they have raised the complaint with SR No.29744250 and then will get back to me with in 7th of Dec,2009 as my bill due date was 9.12.2009. Till now I have not received any mail or call from the customer care. Now I was in doubt that they may be many times they have generated this type of bills as I was not aware as I'm using this number[protected] from past 5 years.

                                  Airtel mobile service postpaid — Wrong billing

                                  Airtel has done a wrong billing and asking me to pay for it. from my mobile call was not made to a # and they continue to accept their billing error.

                                  on 20-Nov, they have done a billing for Rs.1100+.. my average mobile bill amount is only less Rs.400 or so and it has never exceeded this amount.

                                  they are talking about a 5 digit # call.. one call made @ 7:36 am for 1 hr 30 min (Rs.546 bill amount only for this call) and anohter call @ 7:43am (7 min. from the start of the first call) for 1 hr. 33 min. (Rs. 564 charged for this call)

                                  Airtel repeatedly says, they are charging as per their server report.

                                  we never made call to this # and I would like to proove my case and make them understand.. would be helpful, if you could suggest me a way out.. thanks.

                                  Airtel Mobile Plan — Wrong billing

                                  I had been offered mobile plans from airtel in writing on 06 july 2009. I had more 15 numbers working as on date and increased total connection to 25 then and was assured verbally that my all plans would be activated within few days. This plans were lot cheaper then earlier plans. But I was charged according to old plans and so a very heavy amount was paid by me. The service personnel asked me to activate 5 more numbers (She told me that bosses are not approving plans since number of connections were less even after they readily offered me plan before, from their end only and without any obligation to number of connections). I then took new connections but again all bills recieved were not correct as per plan. I am constantly writing about this problems to all the senior personnel of the company. I had written more than 100 mails and called more than 50 times to 121(customer complaint), nodal officer(which works when there is no response from 121, within 10 days. I am repeatedly asking thm for contacts of grievances department which looks into issues when there is no response from nodal officer but they are not providing me with same.
                                  My second problem is they do wrong posting of cheques at their end for example if we paid cheque of Rs. 5000 for our one no. b then they post it in our No.c account and our number b is blocked. This harms image and reputation ofmy company in the eye of my employee who is using this number. They are also disturbed by the continious calls recieved for the outstandings which has been actually been paid. I am totally fed up and feel like puppet in hands of airtel since they know it is not easy to change our numbers and they keep on harassing me by their calls. I had paid more than Rs.25000 on there mere assurances that these amount will be son adjusted in my account.

                                  I have an airtel mobile for the past few years and, off and on the service provider gives trouble wherein callers find me out of range when I am not or they find my phone switched off when it is not.Since the past two days I am not able to call or receive calls even though full signal is there.However , without making any calls at all on a single day I am being billed for Rs 100 to Rs 150.
                                  When I want to call them also their website is not at all user friendly and is unable to give me a number which I can call from a non airtel mobile.
                                  Going down to the airtel centre is a sheer waste of time because there is always a long queue.I wonder what right such companies have to operate in our country when they are downright dishonest in their billing and cannot provide the basic services.

                                  I can understand your problem, these are the tactics by which such companies cheat their esteemed customers.

                                  In my opinion the only way to overcome this problem is to approach appropriate Consumer Forum.

                                  Consumer forums are very effective in these type of cases. and court fee is also nominal.

                                  I received a bill of Rs.3394.00 on[protected] before which I have contacted Ms. Nisha Rajput the Nodal officer
                                  for disconnecting my internet services. After which I came to know that my bill is not paid. My plan was Rs. 399 where i was told that upto 10 GB is free. After the conversation with the Nodal officer she told me that there is no plan as such. then I told her that the Airtel Branch office is Vasai(w) directed me in such way. After a long conversation she told me it was their mistake and wrong plan was applied to me. I was directed to pay the different amount i.e[protected]=799. I paid Rs.800 at Vasai Retail shop. Today[protected]
                                  I recieved a call from the Airtel office that I have not paid Rs.2595. Presently my plan is Rs.599

                                  I had ported in from tata docomo to airtel, I am supposed to get 10p/min airtel to airtel call rates for certain numbers but i am being charged 50p. None of my complaints are being treated seriously and I have been calling costumer care for almost a week daily to get this thing resolved. These guys have gon down to the extent of faking call transfers and disconnecting the calls and given wrong number of the nodal officers. I
                                  I really feel so sorry for customers who leave their existing service providers just to join Airtel...

                                  I'm an Airtel customer (and desperately trying to move out under MNP and facing fraudulent tactics by Airtel to either deny or delay the request) for over 6 years and from my experience I am telling you that Airtel is probably the worst service provider in the country now. Their business comes first for them customers come only later.

                                  Airtel has generated an Incorrect bill on 22/08/2011 while my bill generation date is 11/09/2011. There are several mistakes in this bill:
                                  - The total bill amount is Rs.31576.48 instead of Rs.1432.80
                                  - Activation Charges put as Rs.3999.00 which should be 0.00
                                  - DSL Registration Fee put as Rs.10000.00 which should be 0.00

                                  Airtel Postpaid — Very bad after sales response

                                  Airtel sales guys have been calling us for converting prepaid SIM to postpaid. After going through the prices, we agreed to change. An Airtel sales guy came on 26th Sep 2011 and took the needed documents and photo from us. We were asked to pay Rs.350 towards activation charges and new postpaid SIM. 3 days later address verification too was done. We understand that Postpaid SIM has been activated. We have so far not received the postpaid SIM.
                                  Now Airtel customer dept says that we need to pay again Rs.50 towards the SIM.
                                  These guys are just cheats. Till they get our money, they will be behind us, thereafter, none of these cheats bother to check whether the service has been rendered or not. These guys have no conscience...just loot the customers. All these guy will pay for their sins.

                                  All the guys who wish to go for postpaid Airtel, be ware of this fraud by the company.

                                    I used to believe that Airtel was the best service provider and I used to tell this to my friends and peers. But it seems this is my unfortunate luck that I have bought the DTH Connection of Airtel.

                                    I encountered this poor service and came to know about the low Quality support level when I am trying to shift my pace and facing such inconvenience from your end while doing so.


                                    I raised a request on Thursday (30/05/2013) morning for the de-installation of the airtel DTH for the house shift that I had planned for Saturday. The service engineer raised a request for the same and updated me the status that the engineer will come to visit my old premises tomorrow (Friday) by 4 PM.
                                    I waited and waited, I re-called for the status update. And now I was notified that the engineer will come at 5:00 PM Friday. I waited again but no one called. I recalled the Airtel DTH call center and was updated once more that the engineer will come very soon as your call has been escalated.
                                    Then I received a Message that the issue has been resolved. However no engineer came for the de-installation and hence no issue was resolved.
                                    I called again the next morning, on Saturday at 8:00 AM and I was informed the service request has been CLOSED. That was simply WOW!!!
                                    I asked for the call to be escalated and the escalation team assured me that they will get an engineer within 4 hours. They even gave me the contact no. of the engineer ....but that was always unreachable.
                                    I waited for the DTH engineer to come and de-install before I move out of my old place. But NO one ever came.
                                    Now I have reached my new location and then Once again I called the DTH call center and they promised me that this time they will surely get an engineer assigned.
                                    The engineer called me and said he needs 125 /- for the de-installation. As I have already moved my place I asked him to perform the de-installation and then the re-installation and then I can pay him here for both. But he had his own excuses as he can't come to this place as it does not come in his Zone. When I earlier placed the initial call I was informed that the engineer who comes for the de-installation will also perform the re-installation. And now I came to know it isn't what you promise or tell the customer.

                                    I request you to please tell what is under your limits and just not give false promises.


                                    ****Please note this I have changed my place and I can't go back there for the de-installation. It was a mistake from your end that you couldn't provide me an engineer when I wanted even after my repetitive reminders. Now it is your responsibility to a single engineer who can de-install bring the connection to my new pace for the re-installation. At least you can do this much for a customer satisfaction.


                                    The best thing to tell you is that while I am drafting the email, I got a MSG again from Airtel that my issue has been resolved and hence asked for a Satisfaction survey. And as you know there has been “NO” resolution of the issue till now. What do you suppose I should give in for the survey?

                                    I subscribed for Airtel DTH with customer id [protected] with annual subscription. I paid for the whole year & apart from that subscribed for few la carte channesl & paid for them a lum sum amount of rs 500/-. After few months I was intimated thru sms that I have a minus balance & recharge immediately, which I did, but after few days again yhis wasrepeated. I immediately intimated the customer care to cancel all my additional packages. This request was not met & again I received the sms to recharge imediately. The customer care rep is not available easily inspite of several tries. Suddenly today the services to my DTH have been stopped. I want to lodge a complaint regarding it.

                                    I just registered for Airtel prepaid, but i didnt work well after all. My friend called me but it said that i'm out of service..Also I sometimes find it difficult for send message to my friend.
                                    i complained customer service regarding disruption srvice with almost making 10 to 15 times call.each time they kept you waiting fot 5 minutes approximately and last extend you date for solution.it has past 5 no action is being taken only an extended is given with uttermost surity.

                                    I personally request all new customers not even try to plan to buy this horrible service from airtel buy tata or any other but pitfull by a airtel. they are money chasers won, t money only

                                    I shifted my residence 2 days back. Am still not able to get a technician who could come and fit the antenna at my new residence.

                                    Customer care says they need 6 days for a shift. (Good Customer care after sales service!!!)

                                    But if i buy a new connection today i can get it fixed on the same day. There are slots available for technicians on the fly. I do not understand the logic.

                                    I am without TV for the 3rd day now. Hail Airtel!!!!
                                    Luckily the Technician arrived yesterday night and got the connection working.

                                    However, the attitude of the people at the Customer Care center wasn't very appealing.

                                    Airtel DTH — Very poor Service

                                    I have booked a Airtel DTH connection on 18th May 2011 by paying Rs1590 with installation which includes the megapack for 2 months plus cash back of Rs 250, and i was told that installation would be done on 19th May before 12Noon but after Waiting and calling for the entire day no one came uo for the installation. On 20th around 4PM installation team came for the installation and did the temporary installation and promised to come again next day for the complete installation and took Rs.200. As soon as they moved after two hours the singal were lost and i keep complainting at the customer care and the installation guy but no one turned up.

                                    Now i registered a complaint at the call centre complaint no. is 8231247 and again i was Promised that someone will rectify the complaint, but again i recieved a message which says that The problem has been resolved. I mean no one has visited my place the problem remain as it is now when i gave call at customer care again i was told that someone will attend within 2hrs. time but no one turned up.

                                    Now after going through all these things i just want to remove this airtel Dth connection and want my money which i have paid should be refunded. Airtel doesn't have any service thing and only false commitment.

                                    Please resolve this matter and refund my Money.

                                      I am carrying airtel digitel TV connection since 2009. Cust I'd [protected] and is registered in the Name swamprava rath. It is many times that I have faced the problem of no signal which I do not see with other dth TV but this time these people have crossed the limit. After repeated calling and reguest more than ten times no one visited my house for any correction but every time airtel send SMS saying your problem has been solved. They do not forget to deduct amount everyday inspite they could not resolve my problem..two three times engineer called me but I kept waiting for them only, they never came...at last I told them drop the connection that also they are not doing..plz suggest.....

                                        I am from Kolkata and I have this airtel postpaid connection ([protected]) from last 4 years. Till last 1 year they were issuing the receipt for the online payment made my credit card smart pay by auto debit every month. Now they have stopped issuing receipt to my mail id where they are sending e-bill saying that it is order of the company, not to issue payment receipt, even if you insist also they bluntly reject your payment and say they are helpless,
                                        Since I need receipt to get it reimbursed. When I call and inquire, they say they helpless and cannot provide the e receipt for the payment which sound ridiculous. They are denying the payment they have received. I have no clarification for the same.
                                        It is mandatory to provide receipts to the consumer for the any payment received.

                                        Let me know how to deal this grossly illegal activity of Airtel.

                                        Bharti airtel, post paid — not getting receipts

                                        i have been airtel post paid customer for close to 3 years.
                                        i pay my bill through reach communications, shenoy nagar branch, Chennai.
                                        when i pay by cash, i donot get receipt, the employee/agent says that i will get alert on my mobile.
                                        the latest incident being, i paid cash of Rs.515 on the due date on 8/04/04.till now neither did i get an alert nor has it been updated on the billing account.When i call 121 they are not accepting the complaint as i donot have receipt no's.
                                        such type of similar incidents have been occuring frequnently at reach communications.
                                        they are not maintaing bill books, registers, complaint registers, etc and are not divulging their names even. all these are aginst minimum customer service standards and hold bharti airtel services responsible .
                                        i have registed numerous complaints agianst reach communications, but nothing has happened.

                                        I am Mrs Arati Nandi of Salt lake, Kolkata. I am having post paid connection no.[protected], which I have been using since 3-4 yrs. I used to get bill in time earlier, but since last about 6 months I am not getting bills at all. Instead I have to visit every time before expected date of payment due to the nearst Airtel Mobile franchise, namely, Trisul Communications, Block BF, Salt Lake city, Kolkata and after knowing the amount due from them I pay there. This causes undue harrassment every time and moreover I am not getting bills that need to be produced for reimbursement. I have complained a no. of times to the airtel franchise office, without any respite. I have another connection for datacard for which I get bill regularly on time.
                                        If no step is taken within next 7 days I will have no other options but to withdraw my Airtel post paid connection.
