i uses a Airtel mobile sim card. from last day my incoming and out going services are closed by Airtel company without giving any warning Or alert Or not giving any pre information about closing the services. When today i call to cust. care they said to me submit the documents and they said that we had sent a sms to you regarding to submitting documents and closing Incoming and out going services. But i did not get any sms about the doucment .

I AM SHIVA MY NUMBER [protected]WITHOUT INTIMATION DISCONECT THE OUTGOIN FACILITY ON 28/01201, WHEN I ENQUIR AIRTEL NEAR KAMAKY THETER BSK NOT RESPANTING PROPRLY & SERVICE TO WORST ,I WILL WAITNG FROM 6 DAYS THEN HE TELLING YOUR NUMBER AS BEEN DISCONECT IN FEW DAYS,

Dear,

Your service is very valuable for us.
but right now it seems you have stopped the incoming facility to my mobile no. [protected].
Please stop all services and start only the incoming and outgoing. I don’t need any other service than the incoming and outgoing.Please don’t send any promotional sms/calls.
I have already requested you by sending sms to 121 to block the unwanted services. You are taking away my hard-earned money. So stop it immediately.
Pl. do irritate by calling again and again.

    19th April 2013 i have requested to cancel my number [protected] through customer care. After that several guys called me to conform the request,
    Then i got the next month bill and account is active, they said there is new bill cycle so pay that amount and raise new cancel request. I payed the amount and raised the complaint. Its in May. When i paid i have paid all money due and canceled it. Even there status says it cancelled. but they generate June month bill now and says that also i need to pay. I have not used there service from April onwards why they are charging for june also.. I have requested several time to cancel the connection, why they are become active automatically ? Looks like they are trying to charge as much money for the customer who are leaving the service. Some one should take strong action against them.

    To be simple. If i request cancel, cancel the account on the day i have cancelled and charge any out standing due. Why they keep account active every month and charging it ?

    AirTel — Cancellation of service

    Sir

    I had registered a request bu airtel to close my post paid service as i have migrated to another city. The customer service says that they can cancel the service only after i receive a call from the customer service. My problem is i cannot take mobile at work nor am i available on any other number from 8.30 to 19.00. As per their reasoning i cannot close the service which i find ridiculous. Any help would be appreciated.

    Airtel Data Card — miss guiding and now overcharging to save their employee.

    i Prashantroach bought a connection from airtel last month, i was told that the downloading speed will be 40-45 kbps.
    when i used it it was very slow so i called the technical support, which was of no use.
    from the day of purchase i have visited the airtel branch at 32sec, chandigarh, at least 10 times from the DAY of purchase.the speed never crossed more than 7 kbps, now today i again went there
    with my notebook and showed the problem to the enginear present there, he told me that it will not exceed more than this, , i was not left with any other option but to cut the connection as it was not solving my purpose, i asked for the refund and they are refusing, , i told them that since it is so slow i cannot download any stuff that i want, my airtel number for data card is [protected]
    and my plan was 599, which is plan||, which says that 1 gb is free, and will be charged rs.3mb
    now they have given me a bill of rs 2400 plus, , ,
    to save their employee they are putting the burden on me, ,
    i know that i havent even used it that much as the downloading was not happening, i only used it for surfing, , not even every day, , then from where did this huge amount come.

    i agree the customer support is not good, , they do not give the right suggestion
    accept one or two executives, rest are the same
    in my case i have called sector 32 chandigarh so many times to give me a solutio to my data card problem and even visited atleast 10 times in a month but it wasnt effective at all
    in fact when i told them that i am gonna un-subscribe to and buy some other service provider who gives more speed, they retaliated and have now given me a bill of rs 2, 400plus...
    when i havnt used the data card to make any calls or sms, and the downloading speed not exceedind 7 kbps, , how can such a huge bill come, ,
    for this to happen first of all the speed should be gud, ,
    then if i had to download so much i could have chosen the 999 pack with unlimited downloads
    and not 599 plan that i am using...
    airtel is no gud any more...

    AirTel — Cancellation of airtel service

    All,

    I had been using airtel for more than 2 years and i had enable ECS direct debit option for making payment easy. As i was planning to relocate to UK, i opted to cancel my account with airtel.I had requested airtel for cancelling the account on Sep 12th 08 and was confirmed it would be cancelled by 14th of Sep by phone. After making a request via phone also i had mailed them officially for deactivating my account, i instantly got a reply that airtel customer care person would reply in 24 hours but no action for the mail.

    My account was not deactivated till november and amount from my bank was debited every month inspite of making formal request for cancellation by mail & phone. From the time i observed a bill statement generated for october month I had been reminding about my cancellation atleast four times via email but no replies from any airtel customer service.

    Finally after deducting the amount for november i got a mail from airtel customer service that your account is deactivated. Please see the mail below... Mail says deactivated and bill generated for zero usage but Rs 158 has been deducted from my account which is reflected in my account.

    Airtel — Stop India_Pack

    There is no way by which I can stop India_Pack on my Airtel Cell number +91-[protected].
    I have been charged Rs.10 every week. Please Stop this service. I am loosing unnecessary money every week.
    I have been also receiving messages from 56363 every day.the messages are of no use, they just send primary school gyan which i dont need at all.Every day these stupid messages are disturbing me.the most worst thing is i am not able to unsubcribe the service and ends up paying Rs 10 every month.

    Does any one has every unsubcribed this successfully?

    Airtel Data Card — Unavailability of service

    I have taken Airtel Data card on 08/06/09 for unlimited access by paying Rs. 7500/- for six months from Haldia (WB) from an Airtel Data Card dealer. But from the first day there is no service. The highest speed is 0.35 to 1.45. I have incurred a heavy loss due to this slow service. Un-numbered calls and complaints made but of no use. The only reply is "we are looking into this and hope to solve the issue very soon." I have asked them to take back the device and make my refund. Taking into consideration that they have improved their services, I took this data card, but they have proved that I am wrong. I dont understand how they are running there nationwide service this this poor quality of service. Why they play with valued customers ? Where is the end ?

    Airtel — Billing even after cancellation of connection

    I was using Airtel Broandband connection for more then 2 years. before moving to US i had made a request to cancel the connection on phone. they called me 3-4 times and after that they confiormed on phone that my connection is cancelled. after one month 1 got the Bill for the month, i mailed them the details with request id's that when it was cancelled how come i got the bill. even affter writing them 2-3 times they have not confirmed anything and i didn;t got any proper response for that.
    I want you to pleeeese deactivate this india pack subscription immediatly..

    I have given request to Air tel for change bill plan 999.00 to 49.00 dated 29.8.09 req. no. is 22405319 again I have Call 21.9.09 req no is 28477458 but the last 2 month bill is comming 999.00plan i am not using data card last 1.1 2 or 2months
    i am crossponding through email airtel say to first pay the bill then
    airtel not send me new 49.00 plan bill till Date 06.01.2010

    Please deactivate my Dadanet subscription from my mobile no. [protected]. I'm no longer using it but inspite of that they just cut it. Everyday they charge me with Rs 5 or 10. So please do something.

I call'd the customer care on that time and i inform that . They told me it's taken as a complaint and it will rectified in two day they give me an complaint number also. But still i din't get any answers from there . Today i'm not able to connect the customer care executive also . It's not a bigger amount for me but they are not responding me.
    I bought a Airtel 3G modem, but now i'm totally regretting the decision, its so slow, its worse even than the mobile internet facility, its not been even a week since i bought it and now i wonder is their any way to surrender it so i can get any other connection?

    Airtel — Wrong billing after cancellation

    I was using Airtel CUG plan as the name is cug plan but they have charge almost double amount.
    While taking this connections-[protected]-[protected] the airtel dealer told me that you pay 1000/- rs.we will deduct from the bill amount.He is Mr.santosh,his dealership is located at bandra (E).
    He promised me many benefits with this plan but within 10 days only i received a bill of Rs.1000/- for [protected] andRs. 500/- for [protected]..god knowns for what they charge me this much,wen i haven't used that no's.when i asked, santosh told me this will get adjusted in ur next bill,but every month i was paying 1500/- rs.without any benefits.As he promised me that 1000 mins.will be free within CUG after wards it will charge you.but no 1000 min.was free and that amount also they didn't deducted,even though we kept paying the bill for 3 mnth ,thinking that they may deduct to next month bill,but they didnt.
    finaly i decided to cancel the both no.[protected]/...125,lastly we asked to santosh will you pay back my 1000/- rs as security deposit ,than he told me to pay half amount and half will get deduct from ur security amount.

    The same i did it,but after that i started getting harresment from airtel service people Malad ..they use to call me every day,i used to explain every body but even though they use to call again n again and they will be behaving very badly.

    One day i received legal notice against of my bill,in that notice 1 no.was there of Mr.Sandeep Sood,i have explained everything to him with proof but still he has not rectify the problem,and still he has not called any time neither he is replying to my mails.For harrasing only service people or CC pepole will make a call like it is free for them but nobody will turn up after explaining my problems.

    Its kind request to pls.solve my problem,either pay back my 1000/- or adjust that amount into my bill.

    Airtel — Bill coming even after connection cancellation

    Hello,

    Worst after services of Airtel broadband, i experienced this when i requested for cancellation of my airtel landline connection as i was shifting to another location.
    when i asked airtel to shift my connection to new location they took almost more than a week(which is just a click away) to check whether this can be done or not, after a week or two they returned saying that this cannot be done then i ask them to please cancel my connection as i am no longer using it. i did everything from my end in the 1st week of may, but the airtel department did'nt took my complaint seriously though i have all request number's, interaction id's or ticket number's with me.

    Result: They are not closing my connection and asking to pay all the rentals which are piled up due to their delay in processing my request and this rental is still increasing after my repeated complaints to airtel. and my connection is still working even after complaining for 4 months.

    please suggest.

    Hi,

    I have purchased Airtel data card almost 2 + weeks back. Card number [protected].

    I think this was really a bad decision on my part. I raised complain same day when connection was activated mentioning that this does not give me speed to work.

    Most of the time it does not connect ( as signal is really weak). After I raised the complain I was told that this will be resolved before 30th of May. Someone from Airtel visited my house on 26th May and said there is no signal in this area.

    I waited for 30th and called your customer care almost 15 times since then but everyone says please talk to my manager. When I talk to manager he says he will get back within 2 hours. This has happened almost 15 times and looks like no one cares after selling the instrument.

    I really need help here else I don’t have any other option other than going to consumer forum to get my money back (Instrument cost).

    Before purchasing instrument I called your customer care and they said me “if your Airtel mobile has signal data card would have and they gurantee it to work”. I also asked from showroom on ITPL road to tell me the speed, they said minimum 2 mbps. While for me any web page does not open – I just keep refreshing it.

    My house location: Flat number 20011, Prestige shantiniketan. Whitefield road, near ITPL Bangalore.

    I tried to connect every time from above address.

      This is Santhosha Naik and the Airtel Postpaid number is [protected].I have taken this
      connection for my family member.Now they are receiving the unwanted calls from
      international numbers to this number.So we are getting irritation from these
      fake calls.

      We are not expecting any calls from abroad. I am request you to please BLOCK
      ALL INTERNATIONAL CALLS(Incoming calls) TO THIS AIRTEL NUMBER([protected]).


      As per the discussions held with the customer care they have suggested me to drop an email to '[protected]@in.airtel.com' with request in detail. Thye have responded for my email with long explanation about "National Customer Preference Register (NCPR) by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).".But they have not answered my question.I wanted to block all internation calls to Airtel postpad number [protected]. We are not expecting any International calls eventhough we are getting some fake calls etc...why we need this facility?Could you please BLOCK/DEACTIVATE international calls to this number.This is my humble request.I have no complaints about the sevice.Kindly action my request and respond me soon.

      I am getting frequently unwanted marketing calls and SMS from Airtail service provider. I want this practices should be immidiately stopped.

      I has submitted the Name Tranfer Service request ( Recieved at you vega centre, pune on 06.08.08). Its quite disgusting that you are not acting on this request for so many months now. I have to claim around Rs25000/- on official phone calls but in vain. This number was on my companies previous officer, Mr. Salil Tandon.

      I am a platinum customer, but never got any proper answer despite around 5 visits to your Vega Centre office as well as numerous call on 121.

      Eventhough, I have not called, I have been receiving the calls from the following mobile numbers since 15 days to confirm whether I have called to them.

      In the matter, I have already made the compliant at Airtel Gallery located Vashi. However, I have not received any positive response.

      Airtel Postpaid — Deactivation request

      I had 2 postpaid connections with a common bill. Several months back i disconnected one of them. Even after that for months I was getting charged for an amount from my bill for that no. I had given several complaints to Airtel for the same. Apart from that the music on demand was activated on my mobile without even my asking for the same, for which also i gave several requests for deactivating it.
      Around 1 and half months back I gave a request for the deactivatio n of this mobile no. also. The no. shows does not exist on calling but still the bill has been sent to me. No reply has been received by me for any previous complaints, nor even refunds.
      This is the 3 rd time I am facing issues in disconnection. Every time i ask for closure of a/c some problems come. Sometime they refuse any complaint, even refuse the complaint no., or say that there was a request to restore, this time they even went to the extent to tranfer it my brothers name, who attended call for verification.

      Barti Airtel (Cellular services) — Deactivation of number (No incoming/Outgoing)

      About 03 weeks back My CUG number was deactivated beacuse of non-varification of address & the same was re-activated once I re-submitted them the documents on thier request.
      Surprisingly yesterday i.e.26.03.09 my number has again been de-activated on the same grounds and no intimation has been provided before doing so.Then I approached Mr.Krishan([protected]) & he again asked me to submit the address proof whereas the same were submitted twice to him only, He said, the documents have not reached the Mohali office hence they have done the de-activation.I Resubmitted them the documents at about 07.00pm in the evening which he had scanned & forwarded to someone & assured me the activation will happen in 1hr which didnot happen then I reapproached them at their sector-13 (Hisar-Haryana) office & contacted Mr Sunil Jangada ([protected]) & he assured me that activation will happen in next 01 hour at that is, about 09.00 pm .
      But surprisingly even today that is 27.03.09 still the number has not been activated.

      From around last 6 months, one airtel number is annoying my family a lot. Even after warning him, we are getting calls from this number. He uses very bad language. Of course, we ignored his calls, but it's very sensitive and disturbing when it comes to family to keep receiving daily such miss calls.

      We even raised a complaint to Airtel asking for any support or facility to block receiving any calls from a particular number. It'd be really useful for us. But, the suggestion we got was to change our numbers. How could that be a solution? Chaning our number due to some irresponsible jobless . Please implement this solution.

      This is that trouble creating number.[protected]. Please look into this matter. This complaint is honest.

      I recd a SMS from AIRTEL in DEC09 that they are planning to send one gift to me as I am an postpaid customer.
      After one month iI called them and found that the gift was returned because no one at home.

      I have now talked their call centre may be 10 times to find out.

      I have been receiving dirty messages from a mobile number.
      When I called Airtel customer care to block that number for me they refused saying that facility is not available.

      I guess you ll not read this mail.... still im writing

      I changed my airtel prepaid # [protected] to postpaid in CUG Rs.200 pack ( your executive came to our office and processed). After two, three days i informed that my address is reported as "Low profile address" and i have to pay Rs.400 as deposit, mean time my outgoing call also disabled.

      I had paid that Rs.400 and informed in Cust. care and they enabled my outgoing calls.

      After some days without any intimation to me they cut my outgoing and incoming calls. When i called your cust. care they said my no is disabled prementaly... i wrote mail to your nodal and appellate officers for your surprise they asking me to pay again Rs.530 to retain my no.

      without generating even 1 bill i have paid Rs.550 to airtel (Rs.150 from my prepaid balance and Rs.400 as deposit).

      I just want to request / share only two things Mr.Sunil

      * I have completly moved from airtel and i'm sure i wont come back

      * The amount i paid is still with Airtel.... Pls keep that amount as my new year gift, Pls share that amount with your Stake holders too.

Thye have responded for my email with long explanation about "National Customer Preference Register (NCPR) by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).".But they have not answered my question.I wanted to block all internation calls to Airtel postpad number [protected]. We are not expecting any International calls eventhough we are getting some fake calls etc...why we need this facility?Could you please BLOCK/DEACTIVATE international calls to this number.This is my humble request.I have no complaints about the sevice.Kindly action my request and respond me soon.

      I have taken this postpaid SIM for RSI CUG [[protected]]. Yesterday I have
      received a call from [protected] for address verification, I met this person
      with my Identity Card at my office. He clicked a picture of my I-card and said
      your SIM would be activated tonight by 9:00 PM but you have to make a call at
      59059. I tried this number but each time I received not registered on network
      issue.


      Today I called Santosh at [protected] number, He said your SIM would be
      activated by 2:30 PM today itself. I was waiting whole day then I received a
      call from Santosh that I missed than I called him again and he said madam your
      tele verification is not done yet so please keep waiting.
      Even i have drop an email this regard at airtel.[protected]@in.airtel.com. But nobody respond me properly. I have tried several times at [protected] [Mr. Puneet from airtel], now this person is not picking up my call.

      How airtel claims that Airtel cares their customers. I could not believe this.

        I have not initiated to download any such application/VAS. Also by previous experiences I m sure that more balance will be deducted from my account as soon as recharge. Kindly deactivate these services and credit the charges back to my account.

          I was in roaming and done the recharge of RS 249: 3G Internet Pack for my airtel mobile no : [protected] on 20th June 2013 via my ICICI mobile banking app. The Amount was deducted and I got the confirmation SMS of successful recharge, but it was not working and when I checked the balance it shown me 0.00 MB data .Customer care executive told me that I haven't done any recharge but after a couple of minutes he told me that I have used the data, but I haven't used it since I haven't received it till now. Another important thing is that the executive was talking like a illiterate person and instead of listening my complaint, he was interrupting me and forcing to listen his words and he disconnected the call. When I re-tired several times , I was unable to connect to a customer care. Please help me.

          Airtel — Not got the recharge offer ammount & tired of customer care

          Dear Sir / Madam,

          My self Vivek Patil & cell no [protected] residing in Maharashtra state, I have got an sms on 26 march 2008 offering that recharge with 265 & get full talk time + 50 extra balance for Airtel to Airtel for 25 days validity & this offer ends on 1st April.
          On[protected] I have recharged with 265 Rs but I have not received Airtel to airtel balance so I have called to customer care on 27 march at about 8.53 PM there was person Mr. Shivaji who said to me that server is down & we can not launch complaint now & call after half an hour.

          After that on same day at about 9.45 pm I have called then there was Mr. Shahid who took my complaint & given me reference no[protected] & said the tht balance will credited with in 72 hour & asked me to wait for tht time, I did the same but after 3 days when it was not done

          so again I have called on 31 march at 7.40 pm to ask for the same there was Mr. Mahesh who talked with me very rudely not even listened my complaint number just go on talking uselessly & his talking was such non sense that if would have been in front then I would have kicked him & the same person said me that you have to wait for another 48 hrs & I have forwarded your request & the you will get the reference Number by sms but not sms came & neither I was satisfied talking to him.

          So again called same day at 7.55 pm & talked to Mr. Lal & clearly said him to launch the complaint against Mr. Mahesh of misbehaving & regarding my balance he said me same that I will forward request now & the balance will be credited in 48 Hrs. So I asked him if it is not done then I will take serious action then he said you can do what you think better. So he has forwarded that complaint & given me no [protected].

          Today it is April 4, 2008 but still the balance is not credited & this is second time I am writing you mail since I have faced inconvenience from customer care always & last time also I have mentioned that was true your customer care is third class. It was my bad luck that I have switched to airtel from Hutch, at least the Hutch cust care is much better than your company & they send the complaint number by sms & with name the person with whom we have talked. Also even some time they take feedback by sending the inquiry against there executives.

          Also I want to ask that I have taken this card which is having 2 years validity & I have got the airtel to airtel balance of rupees 2400. my validity ends on 08 march 2008 & this month I was having balance of airtel to airtel remaining at about 120 Rupees that was deducted directly saying that it was for one year only & that time also called customer care for same but the given me the same answer, not even launched my complaint. So I have requested them to convert my plan to friends plan also I am ready pay charges for that but they said it will not applied for your plan

          Your company can deduct balance on time but does not credit the balance on time & customer has to beg to all peoples to do the same.

          it is second time I have faced the problem so take it seriously since I have waste my time after Airtel company, customer care .

          Even yesterday that is 3 april i have send mail to all top peoples of the company ie to appilate authority, nodal officers of mumbai & west region but still not corrective action taken by them.
          i agree with you buddy. the same has been doen with me also. i got tired of airtel people. they dont respond at all.

            I have enrolled for an Airtel Broadband Connection on 22 June 2013. I was told by the local Airtel executive that the connection would be installed within 4 days from then. Whenever I was calling customer care asking for status, I was told that there is 2 more days delay expected. But all of a sudden after 2 weeks of wasting my time, I was told that there is not network feasibility in my area. I don't understand how they can keep the customer waiting for so long (longer than what their policy say) and how the local Airtel executive didn't warn me that there no network connectivity in the area that he manages.

            AirTel — Broadband order

            I ordered broadband on the 191/10/2008, issued a cheque of 1600 (2months subscription ) but still dont have my connection .

            It takes only 3 days for the setup, i have nt heard back from anyone and to top it all the cheque issued got cleared .

            The customer care guys shuffled me from one department to other
            n i m still waitin at the mercy of airtel to give me my connection .

            As a consumer is this all i can do ?

            AirTel — Broadband Delay

            I have applied for Airtel broadband connection 22/Feb/2009, (It was for very urgent purpose that is the only reason I has chosen private provides).

            Sales guy Chandramohan from airtel came to my home, collected the money and all the required documents in the same day (surprise he came on Sunday?????).
            Till now he is not attending my calls NO RESPONSE !!! he told me with in 2 days I’ll be getting connection!!!

            I was trying to launch a complaint in customer care in the same week, but they said with in 7 days I can’t launch a complaint, I would take 7 days to complete the work. I don’t know why Chandramohan had given FALSE COMMITMENT like 2 days?

            3 times I went to Airtel guindy Chennai office, I met Mr Babu, I got bit response but no use. I got only PVC pipes and wires, what can I do with these???

            Meanwhile I had launch a complaint also in customer service (Service Request No:[protected] [useless service…..]

            I called Tech engineer Mr Bahsha he told me he don’t have a “pair”, I don’t know what it is? With out pair why these people are taking ORDERS?
            now he is also not attending my phone calls.

            Will I get my net connection or bills?

            I asked for the cancellation of airtel broadband
            the said it wil take not more than 7 days
            now it has been more than 15 days no sign of them .
            they said all the item such as modem wire etc and more wil all be taken in 7 days
            but no one came .
            i want them to cancel my airtel connection asap .

            It is for your kind information that on 22/5/2010 we booked a braodband wide there form no.610919 dt.22/5/2010.
            for which we had paid advance payment of rs.2000 wide chq. no.670527 of icici bank dt.22/5/2010 which is encashed from our bank.

            in there form no. 610919 they had promised that they will install the broadband upto 28/5/2010 by there executive Rajesh whose c.p. code is21838
            but inspite of contacting them so many times they dint inform us that they cant install it in our area because D.P. is not available. and because of there assurance we disconnected our BSNL broadband also and after that when we finally told them to install it that time they were saying us that its not possible to connect broadband connection and also told us to give us more customers so that a new D.P. should get installed, infact we had already gave him one more coustomer but he was asking for more.

            Sir, during the time when our broadband was disconnected we had to face a lot of problem. The study of my son suffered alot and he has to use d cafe. so you r requested to ask the company to pay the compensation of harassment, along with our deposited money to the company of rs2000 along with interest and also the time we had wasted with there executive, on disconnecting BSNL connection and then re-installing it has no compensation.

            sir you are requested to advice the company that they should not harass there coustomers like this.

            Airtel Broadband — Airtel Broadband Cancellation

            I am Ananth Prabhu. I used to have a Airtel Broadband Internet + Phone connection at my old address in Ghatkopar Mumbai. I had to shift to a new address in Mumbai In the first week of July 2010 and since the Customer service executive told me that it would take 2 weeks for a connection movement - i took a new connection at my new address.

            I also requested that my old connection be canceled in Mid July. I provided the customer care executive my new address to arrange for the old modem / telephone pickup etc. I even received a Pro rata bill in July and hence i assumed that the connection had been canceled.

            However, 2 months later around end of September / Start of October - I started getting harassed for payment of pending dues on this Phone / Internet connection. I explained them that I had requested cancellation long ago and that I had taken a new airtel connection again. I was told that - since I had taken a new airtel connection - all i needed to do was provide with the new number and the cancellation would take effect. This happened atleast 10 times from the start of October to November end.

            Even after this I kept getting further calls - and at the end I got fed up and called up the 121 service number. The customer service executive explained - that the Airtel customer service system had undergone an upgrade in July end / August start and hence my 'in-flight' cancellation request might have got lost. He then took a new cancellation request and put in the full story behind my case.

            Soon, after I got a compromise call from some Customer service executive who asked me to pay up Rs. 1,894 for August. I explained about the pro-rata bill in July. I was told that she would talk to her supervisor and get back to me - which never happened.

            Since then - the service charge has gone up to 7.5k Rupees - for a connection I haven't used - which I had requested cancellation on time.

            Even though I have raised multiple complains about the same and even tried mailing [protected]@airtel.in - I haven't gotten a satisfactory reply / explanation on why my connection wasn't canceled and as to why I received a pro-rata bill in July - if i hadn't requested for a cancellation. Even if i were to assume that the initial cancellation didn't go through - even after talking to 20 (or probably more) customer service executives since September - none of them cared to make sure that the connection would get canceled - while I complained about the wrong billing / cancellation etc.

            The only wrong thing I did here was that I didn't keep the cancellation number from July - since I assumed that Airtel would ethically proceed with my cancellation request.

            I am now being completely HARASSED for 7.5K for no mistake of mine.

            I have given for cancelation 24 hours before and i went to T Nager office to submit my land line........ They are saying not accepted as it is still acctive the belive system and say go back and come after 7 days,,
            Why are these people sitting in the showroom A/C whole day.... to have fun????
            They can take the instrument and say we do the needful.
            They say go to customer care 198 No

            When I called them I spoke to 9 people in total and not one was kind to customer.

            The lady says throw the instrument outside and go.
            when i asked explanation in the counter that How many people do i have to explain the counter says we dont know.

            there is no connection between the Customer Care 198 and the counter.

            They call themself Airtel Group

            They are very bad behaviour and T NAGAR manager says " I DONT want to HEAR your problem" for submiting the No....

            My Land line No is 42125929....

            If I call 198 they put me on hold for 15 min for one simple canclelation
            HOW CAN WE BELIVE SUCH SERIVE.
            NOW I AM SURE THEY ARE GOING TO MAKE ME PAY EXTRA AND GIVE ME TROUBLE.

            only my Monye and time is wasted...

            Airtel Broadband — Delay In installation

            I have approached airtel broadband for connection on 4th Aug 2011. Till date they have not installed the connection. When contacted several times in showroom and thro mobile they are not bothered and asked me to cancel the request of getting connection. Several mobile calls to installation manager and others has resulted in vein. I request others not to think of purchasing airtel broadband when other options are available in the market. I am awaiting the payment made for connection after cancellation.

            WE had complain for cancellation for broadband service on 28th nov 2011 for land line number [protected] but still it hasn't been disconnected and every month we are getting the bill and they don't answer properly and dnt reply to phone also every time they make false statement only they will disconnect the call also in between will arguing against them we denied for justice. MR.manjunath tells us that if you continue with service then your bill will be resolved but if don't continue with service you have to pay your bill. MR.santhosh told us that concern person will will visit you home within 24 hours for cancellation but no one has come for that purpose. We are students so they call during college time and argue with us that your phone are not reachable so please help us . We wait for justice

              I have placed a request for cancellation of my Airtel broadband connection on May 21st. At that time, I was told that the cancellation will take 7 days of time. After 7 days i.e., on May 28th, executive from Airtel had come and collected the telephone and modem. I was told that my connection is cancelled. However, till date the connection is not yet cancelled. The bill amount is sent for all those days for which I haven't used the broadband. Now, when I'm seeking a revised bill (i.e., only for those days I have used the broadband connection) I'm getting answers from the customer care saying I have to pay the whole month bill. I don't mind paying the bill for the number of days I have used the broadband but if I am asked to pay the bill for the days I haven't used the broadband, it is unfair. Many complaints have been raised but no action is taken. This is not the first time I'm facing these kind of issues with Airtel, we have to follow up like dogs in order to get our problem resolved. NO is -1476025 . but from 12 may to 18 may CC excutive called me twice or thrice a day and gave me suggestions for change the cancellation but i told every time that due to FUP and financial problem iam not able to continue this connection . some time excutives are very rude and misbehaving to me . and today is 21 and I again called to Customer care for asking ,why is so much of delay in disconnection .but they told me that on 18th of may i told thier excutive that continutaion of my connection but the fact is that i never told such a thing i[censored] can plz check airtel recordings . And again they gave me another REF no. which is .[protected] and they gave me another 7 days . PLZ do some serious and necessory actions Iam very much fed up this is not a right way of treating customers . And i[censored] can PLZ forward this to MR.                 Refund of Modem caution deposit and Modem cost

                Dear sir,
                I have selected the Rs.950 plan for 3g services and the speed i get is 12 Kbps at the max when I download anything.While watching a 5 min video it takes me 10 mins to buffer it.
                So i just do not know what to expect from these. The speed is even worse than 2g that i used to get on mobile internet like 2 years ago. I would not pay a single penny when you send me the bill if you continue providing me with this speed.

                I have taken a new sim([protected]) from airtel and recharged it with 3g plan 45 rupees for 150 MB. Speed was good my mobile use to get 3-4 MBps speed. After using my 150MB, Later i recharged with 3g Plan 99 rupees for 300MB. to my suprise
                Since few days speed was 60-85kbps pathetic ,paying for 3g services and using below 2g services was disgusting.
                Thanks airtel for your wonderful service. My first experience with airtel.

                Hi ,

                Registered a complaint with Airtel for 3G speed and no recovery.

                I got a call from ROSLINE from Airtel team stating that " ur problem has been resolved and there is no problem on the network. I asked her that this is what usually u say and I have faced This problem already 5 times and she told no sir there is no problem and u can check the speed , I told ok I ll check and hanged up". After sometime
                I had a check with my 3G speed and it remained the same where it is not crossing 0.02 Mbps.. So I got irritated and called up Airtel CC again and they told that the complaint has been closed. This is not fair closing the complaint without the feedback of customer. So again they haven taken a complaint and here is the complaint number "COUTL[protected]" registered on 18-aug-2012 17:10
                Now my 3G validity has expired and anyway I connect it in usual plan of 10/10kb 3G plan for checking speed .

                I have purchased airtel 3G dongle with sim on 09th Nov 2012, they have activated it on 17th Nov 2012 that too 2G only, after my repeated complaints,
                they have activated 3G on 26th Nov 2012, after that, now, the speed of 3G connection is around 80kbps, at the time of purchase, they promised me 7.1Mbps, now, i am not able to reach their customer care which having arrogant staff. this is my bitter experience with airtel, i am heart fully advising all don`t buy airtel products

                i have recharged airtel 3g on repees 650/- as per company plan the data o[censored]ses 3 gb on full speed and after unlimited data up to 80 kbps speed for a month.
                but when 3 gb data is over the speed is around 10 kbps. when i told airtel customer service he told me the speed is arround 10 kbps.

                  I have a 3G connection for my iPad since the past 1 year. I have been paying all my bills regularly and before time every single month. I have had repeated issues with not getting 3G connection and this happens every 3 to 4 days and then I write to airtel presence which then reverts back saying it will look into my problem & then in about a week it sorts out the issue and I have 3G for the next 3 to 4 days again. Then it goes off and the whole complaint procedure has to be repeated. I have done this for the past whole year. I am totally fed up with how arrogant they are. They charge me for something that they don't provide.
                  I haven't had 3G now since the 22nd of June and despite repeated complaints and call backs nothing is sorted out. They give the standard reply each time and I am totally frustrated and angry.
                  I took this connection so that I can use skype on my iPad and chat with my children who live abroad. There was no other reason for this connection as I have a mobile number and a landline number. I specifically mentioned this when I took the connection and I was assured that I will get 3G where I live. I was only never told that it would be a life long struggle with numerous emails and phone calls and complaints to get what i rightly pay for. Without 3G I cannot use Skype. Please help me out.
                  My iPad connection number is [protected] & my alternate mobile number is [protected] with Airtel.

                  Airtel — No reply despite of repeated complaints

                  I am facing an small technical problem in the service provided by the Airtel .Usually after making a call we receive a message from the company which indicates the cost of the last call and Balance Talktime available to the prepaid customer.but due to some technical problem from the company's side i am not receiving the same.
                  I have lodged three complaints with the customer care and despite of continuous reminders the problem is not solved and only repeated assurance is given by the customer care executivesthat the same will be solved in 24 hours.
                  what should i do in this case.

                  Airtel — not giving service despite charging for it

                  i am basically from rajasthan. i had taken Airtel new connection in himachal pradesh (kangara), as i am on training for my bank PO post there.
                  on 28th october 2009 i recahrged it with 50/- topup to reduce my local and std call rates to 50 paisa on airtel and 60 paisa on other network. the servicce automatically got deactivated on 29 oct 2009 and my call charges got jumped to 1.5 rupees/min.
                  despite frequent request at customer care centre daily, there is no satisfactory answer from their side neither they have reduced my call rates yet.

                  kindly do something as this may be happening with others also.

                    I bought a mobile connection 7 or8 years back,I got a message for submission of the documents so I submitted in their office. Again after some months I received the same message so I submitted the documents again.now they've disconnected my number without any intimation .I called their customer care but of no use.they said take new connection as for old connection nothing has been done.please help to resolve the problem.

                    An automated call from airtel was made on my mother's mobile number
                    [protected] and when i came to know its a marketing call i disconected the
                    call. Since then airtel has debited my prepaid account for Rs 30 twice and
                    inspite of repeated complaints no money has been refunded. airtel doesn't
                    have a single evidence which proves that i subscribed to their Mitti Ke
                    Rang Service. i don't have any idea from where i can get help. A few days
                    after that the service was also deactivated quoting "Verification Failure".
                    How on earth can you activate the number, credit the balance and then
                    deactivate the service. and if the number is not active how on earth can
                    you a charge a customer for a sense less service like MKR??? is?sombody
                    listening?

                    FYI i have submitted the documents thrice and your champions don't even
                    have a record of that. i was told that i will be called by your "esteemed
                    company" before EOD today but as expected you guys know how to charge but
                    not to serve. a complaint has been filed on a public forum. find the link

                      My name is Diksha & I have Airtel Prepaid Connection [protected].
                      On 2nd July 2013, around 11:15 A.M., my mobile main balance was 150/-, at 11:15 A.M. I got two messages from AW-CVHTUN,
                      that I've charged 51/- for choosing a service Hello Tunes. My deducted balance was 99/- only.
                      Again in the afternoon around 1:45 P.M. I got two messages from AW-FFMUSC that I've been charged 30/- for choosing a service Talk2me, which in real I didn't chosen, never. & now my remaining balance is 69/- only.
                      I'm afraid that, airtel will deduce my remaining balance on the name of such unwanted & useless services, as my last mobile balance was deducted completely by the same process.
                      I want Airtel to return the exact amount, deducted from my mobile Main balance on these services.

                      i am getting an awful response from airtel. they have activated some services from airtel live on their own and i keep on losing money. without my registering, i started getting jokes from airtel. also, they have themselves put a hello tune to my number for 1 year which i never asked for and deducted 200 rs . i have lost more than 500rs. they tell me to call 121 to deactivate airtel live but that is not working. i am highly pissed by their clumsy handling.
                      moreover the costumer care executives keep on repeating that i have asked for the services and have downloded from the net which is not the case.

                      My airtel number is [protected]. I have been trying to stop this VAS service but still I am not able to. This is extremely disappointing. I have told to STOP service to 121. The 121 service is useless as it says that there is no service in my name and still I am getting cricket updates. Please look into this matter as soon as possible.

                      True. I am prepaid mobile customer of Airtel and am being charged for services which I have not subscribed for. For ex: Getting charged for daily bollywood pictures subscription. I was not even aware of such service exists untill I am getting charged from Airtel. It is almost impossible to find a way to UNSUBSCRIBE. Airtel MUST include a number and instructions to UNSUBSCRIBE for all the messages that they send to the customers. In USA, I think it is illegal for any company to not to include a way to unsubscribe for any kind of subscription services in their communications to the customer. I am not sure if it is the same case in India. Someone from Indian government legal agency should look into such matters and take action.

                      Sir,

                      1. It is informed that deduction from main balance have been deducted Rs. 0.30 at frequently intervals without browsing the internet. Due this reason i have switch off the mobile since last two days for maximum times.

                      2. Whenever mobile is switched on a dialoge seen on desktop that "INVALID USER & PASSWORD" and deducting 30 paise. The same can be verified from your records also.

                      3. I have contacted many times for the same and calls are transferred to seniors without noting down the complains by your Customer Care and after holding a long period no response given by the seniors.

                      4. You are requested to resolve the problem on priority and credit the debited amount. The same problem was also happened earlier with me and on resolving the amount credited.

                      I have never activated any service through call or SMS but still they have activated such unwanted services on my Mobile. They have deducted almost 200rs or even more without even telling me. When asked that who started all these services, they told that I have called them and SMS them. I do not have such waste time to call or SMS them. I am really very angry from them after such a incident.

                      Few days before same thing happened on my Husbands Mobile also. If want some strict action to be taken to Airtel Prepaid Service, so that they never dare to do this again.

                      Hope I will get just and no one else will suffer like I did.

                      I been receiving sms from Airtel that "Games has been renewed,You have been Charged Rs.3.There was no request made from my side, However i did Dial *121# and service message received that this service has been stopped.To my surprise next day i got the same message saying that Games has been activated.I called the call center and complained that this kind of services is not required and ask them not to send this messages.After complaining to call center and Dialing *121# from past 1 week i have received 16 messages.How can Airtel harass and charge the customer who have not requested for services they want.

                        I have ported my no. [protected] to Airtel from Vodafone because Airtel has better postpaid plan then Vodafone... At intial time the network of Airtel working well in all my nearer are.. but since last 25 days Airtel network not reaching in home inside... I have to stay outside if I have to call or receive call.. I have complained on 15th June,2013 for such problem at customer care (121) of Airtel they commited me to solve the proble in 4 days. After 4 days on 19th June, I have calle again on customer care and asked about my proble, they accepted that some issues are there in the area where my home is and commited to solve the problem in next 72 hrs.. Then after I have called here local agent but the result is same give some time. After 72 hrs and till date I am calling customer care but no proper answer. I just getting a foolish commitment from all customer care executive and also from nodel officer " Your problem will be solved but we dont guarantee in how much time". What is this? is this a statement of a worldwide company ? After 15 days they still want more and more time but not committing how much...

                        I have lost my side business for computer selling, which I does from my Home.. I lost my all customer during this 25 days.. minimum of 15000/- Rs.
                        I lost just because of lower connectivity of Airtel network at my home... What Airtel will give a compansation for this ?

We are having our office in this building at Basement which is fully centralised air conditioned and well air circulated.                             Airtel 3G sucks
                            Airtel is really a thief .
                            Horrible speed, sometimes give 15kbps......

                            Earlier also I mailed them but after a long process of 15 days I begin to get a fair speed of nearly 1 Mbps (Although they promise a "blazing speed of 7.2 Mbps") . Again after 6-7 days I began to get very low speed .

                            I think its airtel new policy to give good speed for some time just after the complain and then back to there true face.

                            Airtel is really more corrupt than Indian Government .

                            Really this time I am not going to pay my postpaid bill .

                            Customer care gives different mobile number to contact which are switched of 24 hours.. Most of the times not able to contact toll free and other customer care numbers.

                            there speed is so slow that even the fb chat got disconnected automatically .... forget about booking a ticket from irctc .....

                            I would suggest everyone to not to buy any thing from this corrupt company.

                            Airtel is going from bad to worse...

[protected]) from Karshni solution. mane airtel ka fixed plan unlimited plan liya 650 ka but airtel ne mera wrong plan activated ker diya mera data card bhi nahi chal reha ta to mane airtel ke customer care per call kiya tab mujhe pata chala ki mera plan wrong hai airtel ne mera aisa plan activate kiya jo koi galti se bhi nahi lega . mane badi muskil se apna plan change keraya uske baad unone 4000 ka bill de diya hai uski compalin kai baar karayi but abhi tak koi solution nahi hai uske then after data card me hardware problem aayi hui hai wo detect bhi nahi ker hai mane uske liye airtel me complain kerayi to wo bolte hai jise liya hai useke pass le jao.

                              na ye airtel wale sun rahe hai aur na ye karshni solution . Karshni solution to mera call be received nahi ker rahe hai me continue 15 din se call ker reha ho .

                              I have a airtel connection with number [protected] since 2006 & have always made the payments promtly & never exceeded bill amount of 500 rs in 5 years but all of a sudden I received a bill of rs. 2617 which is way beyond my normal usgae limit & Airtel claims it's GPRS Data usage. I had activated 3G services for using internet on phone & made some usage but not so much that Airtel claims. It was 100rs for 100 MB package I had activated & they said I would get a notification/alert on usage of 80% but I never received any alert. Hence I was under a impression that I am within the 80% limit but when I received the bill it said I have crossed usage limit & the bill was excess. Now they are not only denying to provide waiver but also cancelled my number without any notification. This is impacting my business too. I need a stringent action to be taken against airtel for inconveniences caused to me.

                              I checked my balance on[protected] it showed me 3700 G.B is balance, But on[protected] morning it showed me 00.00 Balance After a great shock I tried to contact customer care after a long struggle I contacted Mr.krishnamurthy Divisional Manager cell no.[protected] he promised me that he will fix the problem within 24 hours and he also gave me complaint No.[protected] and he told me that 3G plan Rs. 751 was stopped I asked about my balance or my history details he promised to help me. After two days I tried to contact him but he is not available some one spoked and again promised me to retain my balance,but nothing was happened then again I contacted customer care and I spoke to Mr.Srinivasan Supervisor told me he will contact within four hours. He contacted me yesterday night in mobile No. [protected] at 11.08 P.m. stating that my account has been reactivated so my balance was gone and in future i have to make recharge to get new balance but I was totally confused with is reply. one person telling that plan was withdrawn and another person telling that my account was reactivated but no one answered me about my balance 3700M.B. i have paid Rs.751.00. Sir please consider my struggle with Airtel and please take action regarding above issue and oblige.

                                I made a transaction of rs 1000 for extra talktime benefit on basis of airtel official website . Here they provide 1100 rs on recharge of 1000 but they gave me 873 rs .
                                When contacted them , they said within 24 hour you will get 123 rs more.
                                After 24 hours I contacted them and they replied .... you got what you aspect .using intenet transaction you will get so and so.
                                You should have recharge through retailer.
                                What nonsense is this. They should mention there for this difference of internet recharge and retailer recharge.

                                  I am writing this to complain on the airtel services and the irresponsible behaviour of the airtel staffs.

                                  I applied for an airtel broadband connection about three months ago. I called up this number [protected] and a person explained about the tariff plans.

                                  I chose the plan where I have to pay Rs.5000 for 5 months which gives a free usage for the sixth month inclusive of a wifi modem.

                                  The very next moment a person came and asked to fill in the form and collected the money. His number is [protected].

                                  After that they never responded for a long time and I was not able to reach them either. Then one day when I was able to get them over the phone they said it is not possible to give a broadband connection in my area as the allocated bandwidth for my area is already filled.

                                  So I asked them to cancel my application and refund the money.

                                  As per my request the application was cancelled on March 23rd - 2013.

                                  They said the money will be refunded through check to my address within 2 weeks time.

                                  The two weeks is long gone and still I dint get my money back.

                                  If I call those two numbers about it they say it will be refunded within two or three days everytime but I really lost hope in them and decided to complain about it.

                                  The manager who spoke to me claims to be Prakash from the Kodambakkam branch. I don't know how far it is true.

                                  He is too lethargic in his reply and he doesnt seem to care about anything I tell him.

                                  I am very very unhappy about this whole incedent and regret calling airtel for a broadband connection.

                                  I would like you to take this complaint very seriously and get my money back as soon as possible.

                                  Bharti Airtel — Refund of our money.

                                  We had booked our new broadband connection (Receipt No- 420014) on 26/10/2008. Each and every formality was copmpleted accordingly.We Had even given initial payment of Rs.800.
                                  But due to certain personal reasons, on 26/10/2008 only we cancelled our broadband connection.They told us that it will take about 45 days for cancellation processing.Our payment will be refunded within 45 days only.
                                  But 5 months had almost passed there is no reimbursement of our money.We had even gone to the office(where we had booked)not once but 10 to 15 times but we havn't got any proper response. The customer service is really very poor, they are not at all concerned about it (only show interest initially when to launch or provide new schemes or new connections) but not bothered about after services.
                                  Kindly, look into the matter .

                                  i m monil shah and a customer of airtel. my mobile no. is [protected] .due to some airtel fault rs .30 were deducted from my airtel balance without any reason on 7/08/09 . i called airtel customer service nd asked for the refund but than they told that i will get in 48 hours. but the refund was not made, my coplain no. is 104809 than i conacted airtel consumer service again bt they delayed and kept delaying it.Today 20 days are over but they are not refunding me the money back. PLEASE take a strict action against AIRTEL COMPANY .

                                  Bharti Airtel — Not yet refunded my MONEY

                                  I applied for a Broadbaand Connection from Airtel on 21-Feb-2010 but unfortunately they could not provide us the connection due to some technical issues and these people agreed to refund the installation charges i.e. Rs.1000/- within a weeks time and now it has been more than a months time I have not yet recieved the amount. When I tried contacting the Airtel people there was not even a single person who actually wanted to take the ownership of my issue. I spoke to people like Arun, Hemanth, Gopal etc.. All these people only promised to refund but no one has yet refunded...
                                  So I kindly request you to take a suitable action against this company. I strongly believe CONSUMER FORUM will definitely help me.........

                                    I did online recharge using my Indian Bank Debit Master Card for Rs330 on apr24,13.But recharge did not happen and amount got debited and not credited by Airtel team till now. transaction id 718950.Ref no. CBNRA[protected] .Compliant number is PR[protected].Unique Service Request number is CONRC[protected].They mentioned that as per Airtel records the Transaction was not successful.They told to check respective bank operator for further action in this regard.I contacted bank and they have no records and I requested Airtel team to check with bank if they had put back my money.I repeated mail them with my bank statement and they do not resolve at all.The issue happened in april and till now(july) it is not taken care of.Airtel Team closes the ticket without proper communication.
