This is regarding my phone# [protected]. On thursday evening, suddenly all my outgoing calls were failing. Though I was able to receive call, send and receive SMS and browse on 3G. I called customer care for help - but what I was told that my account is active and that I 'restart my phone', 'reinsert SIM', try with a different phone. When nothing worked, he mentioned he will log a ticket and that I will receive the ticket number by SMS. Nothing came ever. On friday (yesterday) I logged a service request online. To my horror, later when I checked, the SR was closed[protected] with comment that "Issue resolved online". I think at least the customer should be consulted to verify it is really resolved before closing it out. No intimation - but status closed and still calls failing. I can only submit feedback - and I said "dissatisfied" and that "issue is not resolved". No response so far. Called customer service again last evening, and now they asked me to contact airtel retail outlet with documents to get a new SIM. If that does not work, I should contact my handset's retail store.
One of my friend suggested making a payment, thinking maybe credit limit has reached. I paid my rental amount and outgoing calls were resumed within an hour. What I now understand is that I reached credit limit so outgoing was blocked. None of the times, did the customer care reps. told me about this, I never got any SMS or phone or any communication that I need to pay to continue calling. This is just so irritating and frustrating. Should not the customers be let known that credit limit is reached - make a payment and calls will be resumed, instead of giving incorrect information all the way to frustrate me even more. I took airtel connection assuming being one of the largest network, they will have good customer service. But I am DISAPPOINTED big time!

Airtel — Inappropriate Service and Poor Customer Care

I brought an Airtel Postpaid connection from Airtel Relationship Centre in Chakala, Andheri (East). For the first two weeks i was having problems about srevices.
After many customer complaints and visiting Airtel Relationship Centres, my complain was resolved.
After a month i got my first Airtel bill and i paid the same on the very same day by cheque. i got a sms a few days later that my bill has been delivered. Althought i didnt understand what that sms meant. i cheaked with my bank and found that my cheque has been debited from my account.
Now, its nearly a month from my first bill and today when i tried to call my friend, i hear a voice message saying that outgoing facility is not available on my number. On calling customer care, i have to go through a series of recorded messages and finally when i get to talk the customer service representative my call gets finally hanged up.
i dont know why customer service is so pathetic in Airtel. I have been a customer of Airtel for past two years, always to have been in trouble with the service. Now i cant call the customer care with my cell and if i am trying with my landline, same thing happens, when the calls transferes to the customer care executive, my call drops.

i really dont know what to do and i am really getting frustated. i am thinking of changing my network to some other service which gives better service and has atlest some concern for its customers.
This is with regard to Airtel Services. On April 14, 2010, i called my friend and disconnected after 6 minutes.As usual i received the instant balance status, but it was Rs.129.64 from the actual balance of Rs.163.64.I tried to contact the customer care for enquring it. That day i was not able to contact them. The next day on April, 15 2010 i called the customer care and enquired about it. They said Friends chat has been activated on my mobile. I informed them that i haven't activated any services and filed a complaint. They took a complaint and promised me to help in this issue.Today April 16, 2010 i received a call from Airtel services Department saying that i had activated the service through wap on April 14, 2010 12.30 pm. I said i haven't and they didnt agree. Then i asked how long it has validity. Now they said i have de-activated also by requesting the customer care the previous day.It was absolutely a non-sense. Finally i lost Rs.30 due to Airtel's poor customer care and services.I have again asked for the refund, but i dont to what extent it is going to help me. Due to few people's carelessness the entire Airtel is being blamed. I request for the proper Customer care to be given by airtel, as i using in this network for last few years. I am happy to be a customer of airtel except on few irritating service activation and deactivation.

    Sir, I am getting very poor signal ranging 45 to 53 all times, and the picture quality is so wavy and noisy. Airtel customer care is indifferent to my complaints. So far the same service engineer attended my home 3 times who is completely dull headed and do not understand the actual problem and try to absolve from his responsibilities. I am getting headache watching Airtel TV now. I want maximum escalation possible for this problem.

      Hi,

      I want to share my frustration after waiting for so long time. I love to use Airtel network because of its sophisticated network. But they are purely money-minded. Earlier I have been charged 1 paise/sec for STD calls. But once when I went out of station for 20 days, my call tariff has been increased to 1.4 paise/sec. Twenty five days back I have opted for mobile number portability, but I have been informed that my call tariff will be reduced to 50 paise/sec. But they have not done it. My balance is getting over soon as and when I recharge my mobile.

      I want justification for this.

      AirTel — calling tariff

      i'm using airtel sim no [protected] i'[m in airtel home plan ... in which tariffee come aittel to airtel 29paise airtel to other 50paise.... i don;t know why airtel company is me... and charging 50paise even for airtel to airtel nos.... its really annoying please send me solution to my mail [protected]@gmail.com or [protected].... wat blady airtel company managers and workers... sooon.....

        Bill generation even after disconnection request

        I am writing this email with so much frustration with airtel service and the so bad experience with 3G dongle I was using.


        Okay let me tell you the story....
        I was using subject mentioned 3G postpaid dongle and I felt the service was not worth paying since I faced many issues related to speed and network.
        Hence I decided to cancel this service with Airtel, so I called customer care in the month of MArch-13...

        After using your services for more then 5 years in Delhi & mumbai, now i feel cheated.

        My account no. is [protected].

        On June 8th, 2013, i registered a request to your call centre for purchase of new remote, since, my old was not working. I was sent a distributor list & was asked to buy directly. I called each of them & they all refused having any remote. I visited airtel gallery in Thakur Village, Kandivali for help. The executive there helped me log a request with customer care.

        The request no was 30969821 with assurance of resolution in 24 hrs. I gota call on Monday after 48 hrs to begin with, that too to say no stock available till tuesday, 11th June, 2013. I was fine with that & agreed to pay the 200 + 125 INR for the same. This guy reported to the complaint request saying that customer is not ready to pay, which i was completely unaware of. Then I got no info till 12th June, when i got a message saying the issue has been resolved, which was a complete shocker & call is closed.

        Without any resolution, the customer care refused to help & reported call is closed. When i again called the customer care, they saud they will take appropriate action & gave me a new request number after i spoke to some Sr. Supervisor Mr. Manoj. Request number[protected]. Again assurance of 24hrs. But again no help, apart from a lady calling on 13th morning to ask, whether any solution was given?

        Further, in the evening 13th june, 2013,again i spoke to Sr. Supervisor Mr. Arvind, who committed 24 hrs with assurance till 4pm on 14th jun. Request number[protected]. He stated he will personally call for the escalation. Still nothing happened & in the evening today,14th June at 6 PM when i spoke, he refused to help saying it's raining in Mumbai from last 3 hrs & we cannot help you anymore.

        Was it raining from last 6 days?

        Is it so hard to get a remote from you guys. I have been metally harrased & all this while money is getting deducted from the account.

        After getting frustrated, i requested for disconnection & request was logged in 5 mins straight.

        I would like to get all my money refunded back along with the extra balance on this account.

        I am completely fed up & would request you, without frustrating me any more please remove all equipments from my house & refund me the money for this equipment & the balance amount.

        I have made my mind to log a complaint in consumer forum against Airtel.

        Airtel DTH — Harresment from Airtel Customer Care

        Hi,

        Sorry to say Airtel DTH karnataka is giving worst service I ever get by any service provider in any area. I recently shifted from Hyderabad to Bangalore, have annual subscription for Airtel DTH (My biggest mistake), initially struggled for getting installed at my new place but that doesn't happen till date.
        On the top of that they added salt on my wounds by changing it now my balance is showing negative. Since one month I am struggling to change it back to original till date I have no luck.
        Customer Service of Airtel is pathetic, customer care executive doesn't have any vaild information and every customer care executive have different version of solution.
        I need email-id or telephone number of top notch management of Airtel DTH to contact them and inform them how their executive giving mental touture and harressment to the customer.
        Please help me in filling case against Airtel DTH in consumer court.

        If any airtel representative reading this, please do something otheriwse I will drag this to news and consumer court.

        Hello,

        I want to bring to your kind notice that on 12th Aug 2010 I recharged my account for Rs. 5490/- to upgrade my normal STB to HD DVR STB and I had been allotted Service Request Ref No 3547712 for the same. Now till date my STB has not been upgraded.

        I received fake calls from your executives at regular intervals that they will change the same in a day or two but it never happened. I also called your helpline number numerous times but all in vein. It’s my humble request to please check my account for no of calls I made to your helpline. Your executives always simply put me on hold and than disconnect the call. Otherwise also, they never took my complaint seriously and always promise me to change my STB in 24 hours but as usual it never happened. If you don’t believe me, please check all call recording for reference.

        I also got one sms from your side mentioning above request no and for further assistance I can contact at [protected]. Now, this number always remains either busy or on call waiting. Once I got lucky and one person pick up this phone and after listening to my problem, as usual I got the same answer that my STB will definitely be changed with in 24 hours and once again as usual it never happened. I’ve even used your Online Query / Request / Complaint Registration Form for complaint but nothing happened as usual. This time I am using e-mail and hope this time, someone responsible in Airtel would understand how a common man being harassed by their executives.

        I am so sick of Airtel. I bought its STB after using its mobile service for very long but never thought this kind of poor customer service. Please once again it’s my humble request to kindly check all call centre recording for reference and to look in to the matter personally to resolve my issue.

        Airtel — Harrasement on name of providing service

        I have also face the same issue , Took the Airtel connection after 3 month we shifted to another placed , as they had promised they should have shifted my broadband connection in 3 days but for 15 days they keep saying they are facing some technical issue and they will do it same at last shamelessly they come up the truth that they can't shift so i should apply for new connect , how shameless they are .i dun know even if they see there face after waking up in morning , but i did mistake again and applied for airtel broadband connection , this time they took my money and didn't even gave the connection the time they promised , and its been already 9 days and today they said it will take another 3-4 days , i will fool to trust them again , as i have already fooled myself by deciding to take Airtel connection now i have asked for refund of my amount they saying it will take 20 days but seeing the comments i don't think they going to pay me back ,

        I guess Airtel has started new business to keep themselves alive in business i.e by cheating the people taking away money which are earned by 10 times hardship then what they are doing for earning , I suggest they should start begging on road instead od cheating people atleast they won't have to bear the curse of the people which they recieving now ,

        I am so irritated that today i am going to crush my airtel simcard and DTH connection also , i don't want to see anything associated with Airtel

        Message to Airtel : - Money is not everything , Live with some dignity .
        Today i also i checked with the sales person here in RT nagar but i see his attitude quite as he is not picking up my call or even if pick up, cut the call saying he will call me after 5 min and that 5 min has not over yet, this has been repeated 3 times .

        AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — HARASSMENT

        i usually dont prefer calling customer care but I need to mention the most most pathetic service provider award goes to AIRTEL DIGITAL TV. I have been following with them for rellocation of Dish from May 22nd 2011 and today its 1st of july 2011 and no engineer has come till date. As if the engineer is coming walking from andaman nikobar. they have taken more than 4, 500 rupee from me and still not given me desired package. There is this employee so called supervisor called Navin. i really dont know what people have seen in him while recruiting him. He is good for nothing, and just keep on assuring customer. i sincereing SUGGEST DONT GO FOR AIRTEL DTH.

        Airtel DTH — Harassment by Airtel

        Dear Mr. Ajai,

        I did not had an option but to write to you regarding pathetic and disturbing post installation customer service. We have a HD recorder DTH connection that we have taken recently on June 17th. After multiple calls to callcentre, one of the technicians dropped in to look at the problem of poor signal level. He observed that a damaged dish was installed and he promised to send someone for replacement the next day. Thus we have again embarked on a journey of calling up and writing to customer care everyday.

        It has been more than 15 days and there is absolutely no resolution in sight.

        Subsequently I have searched the internet to find out contact details of the person this can be escalated. I was shocked to read similar problems being faced by your customers and the extremely poor post installation service by Airtel DTH. Shock is more from the fact that a leading company like Airtel does not have processes in place to help harassed customers.

        May I request your goodself to direct your team to resolve the problems being faced by us.

        Airtel — Harashment with the service

        I AM VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED AND UNHAPPY WITH THE AIRTEL AS THE SYSTEM ITSELF IS SUCH THAT NOBODY SEEMS TO BE BOTHERED ABOUT THE CUSTOMER GRIEVANCE AND U PEOPLE HAVE TAKEN ME FOR A RIDE AND MADE BE A SCAPEGOAT HAVING BEEN WITH AIRTEL AND MAKING THE PAYMENTS ON TIME, i was started complaining about the network from the first month when i started using Airtel. I was not getting the network neither in my room nor at my office. Then whats the use o[censored]sing such service.

        ALL IN VAIN AS MY GOING TO THE AIRTEL HEAD OFFICE IS OF NO USE TILL DATE, neither i got a call about the issue nor got a mail though the communication persons. I have also try to reach to one of your communication person Ms. Purnima Sethi (purnima.[protected]@airtel.in) by mail i didn't received any feedback from the her side too.

        I have also asked for my call details and any any team member from the local distributors for the due bill settlement but still i didn't receive any reply on my issues but yes definitely i will receive a rude call or a notice from the your side .

        I have sent the above mentioned matter with my last mail, but still i dint received any answer from any of them.

        By considering my complaints regarding the service i got 2-3 calls from your team members. I have shared my issues with them and i have asked for for my bill details as well as one coordinator for the settlement. Still i didn't received any response in this case. Please check with your team. One more thing i would like to add here is i got too more warning mails before my issue get solved regarding the dues.

          I had received three bills for phone number[protected] which was never installed in my house. After several complaints made at the customer care number 121, I stopped receiving the bills. However, after that Airtel has sent me several notices and a lawyer's notice calling for payment o[censored]npaid dues of INR 2584 on the said number. Even after several complaints to the Karnataka nodal officer and the appellate department, the problem has not been resolved.

          AirTel — Phone Connection

          Complaint againt : Mr. Anish Ahmad-[protected] & Airtel

          There is no response from Airtel agent side though many reminders & correspondence.

          I would like appraise you again the following:

          Earlier the Airtel No. [protected] provided by you has been deactivated without activation. Rs. 500 has been paid against issuance of this no..
          Later, in lieu of above no., new no. has been provided ie [protected]. This has been committed by you that no one time payment ie Rs. 500 has to be paid against this no.. However, I have received the bill of Rs. 554/-. This has also been deactivated because of this no. was recently deactivated other customer no, & wrongly provided to me which has been confirmed by Airtel on mail. Bank statement, wrong calls were being received on this no. continuously.
          After that, this has been requested several times to Airtel Agent to assist to get the new no. but there is no response from your end.
          If I pay Rs. 554/- for this no. also, I would pay Rs. 1054/- without getting any number till date.

          I would request you to get registred my compalint for the solution & to get me the new number with out paying any amount further.

            My name is Ravi and my telephone number is [protected] and [protected], I am using Airtel mobile from past 4 years. In the month of December 2012 Airtel has activated 3G GPRS on both the sim card without my consent. I did not send any email or SMS or called their customer care to activate the service. I came to know about this in the month of April 2013. I wrote several emails with all the details relating to my account and called airtel customer care to reverse the charges along with service tax that I paid from past 4 months. Every time the case is closed stating that they did not get any response from me whenever they called me for details. I checked the call list on my mobile and I do not have any calls from Airtel. Without checking the details or doing any background check they have closed this case. When I have already provided them with all the details can't they dig into the details and check if its their mistake or not. I have paid Rs.250 + tax per month on both the mobile from past 3 months. I don't understand why they cannot communicate over email when I am doing so. Whenever I write a email I get a response saying they will get back to me within 48 hrs and they never do so.

            Airtel — Non activation of GPRS within 48 hrs.

            I have recharged my sim with Rs. 498 voucher for activating GPRS for a month on 24th november 2009, but my GPRS service is yet not activated although 48 hr duration is over. Few months back same problem occured and a total of 3 days of my 30 days GPRS service was wasted.

            Airtel — Activated 3G Service unauthorized

            Hello,

            My name is sudhakar and I have been an Airtel customer from last few years. In my two last month bill I see a huge bill of Rs. 3500+ /- for one of the value added service. I was never informed by the customer care that I was entitled for any such services.

            When I got a call from the customer care center if I wanted to opt for this service, I very clearly told them I do no want to use this value added 3G service. In-spite of that they have activated this service without my permission and now they have billed me three thousand rupees . This is not acceptable, hence I will not pay them the amount till they sort out this issue and produce the bill as per my usage.
            I have sent so many mail to provide me the proper bill,never got response on that,every time customer representative will call and ask us to pay the due bill.
            Very poor service beware of airtel in any service .

              In the month of May, our broadband connection was not working for about 10 days. We raise a request to customer care, and was given assurance from their manager (Janet). That our bill will be taken care, by giving the waive off. In the mean while I transfer the connection from my roommate to my name. I received the first bill of 1130 (Bill #[protected] and account number [protected].
              I thought that 1130 amount is after waive off. So I paid the bill on the same day, I recieved the bill.
              Then I got another bill (Bill #[protected], account number [protected]. With bill amount of Rs 330.
              When I call customer care, and talk to his manager. He told me that it is my fault that I have paid the bill on time. And Now I have to repay the bill of 330.
              I told to customer care, and was assured that my generated bill will be of only 20 days, because only for that time, I have used their service. But now instead of giving waiver, they are asking for full money and saying that it is my fault.

              Airtel Broadband — Faulty service , dreadful customer service

              Extremely frustrated dealing with Airtel. Bunch of . The customer servive was trying to explain me, that ONLY DELHI people would be getting compensation for faulty service and that Calcutta customers are not entitled. When asked about company policies, he mentioned, they are not supposed to send it to customers. (bunch of BS)

              For 3 days my telephone connection was dead, so did the DSL services. They engineers shows up on 3rd day in the evening, after calling them for atleast 10 times. Had to follow up regarding credit for another 7 times, where I had to kept explaining them what had gone wrong. Finally, did got 150 Rs compensation. It was a bitter sweet win. ITs not about 150 Rs but more about ethics.

              Food for thought : If it was so called company's policy of not giving compensation for faulty line, the supervisor wouldnt have given me the 150 Rs compensation.

              Its pathetic, the explaination they come up with. Its not shame on them but on US, consumers who take their BS. If the service aint working, WE deserve compensation. Its our RIGHT.

              Every time i call up the Customer Care they say they have closed my Request as Resolved.
              & state that they have taken a New Complaint.
              The next day i call up they say this is Resolved & when i complain that none of the Airtel staff have attended nor it is Resolved since the day i Complained they again say that they are regiestering a New Complaint.
              This is very Frustrating & Poorest kind of Support & i strongly propose if the company is providing such Faulty Service they have to pay back to the Customers.

              AirTel — Bill for non service

              Sir, I have taken the broad band connection from airtel and availing their services.for the last 1 year. My A/c No. of Airtel is 14711309.My Internet was not working from 23rd April & I heard the message that due to maintenance, I it was not working. After a regular complaint about the same til 10th May2010, No action has taken. After that I've given instruction for closure of account on 10th may to customer care and after holding for more than 8 min. they have disconnected the line.Again I requested for closure on 14th May and they had given me the Reference number.But no action has taken and they sent me a bill for Rs. 637/- for that month. Then I had written a mail to Airtel, And I got the Automatic response with Unique reference number "Qrc1014531". Again I got the another two Reference number "33470656","1085753" on 5th June . But no action had taken. That time they never told me that first you will have to pay that bill then they will close the account. Again I complaint the same on 14th June 2010 and got another reference no "Qrc1080954". Every time I was getting the reference number only but no one ready to revert me for the problem. Apart from that Everyday I am getting call from customer care that your bill is due & when you are paying. After that They have raised three bill for the consecutive three months.
              Kindly do something.

              Airtel Broadband Services — Bill issual post connection closure

              My account number is 16510806, my airtel connection transfer was requested on 7th of sep 2011. This was not processed due to non feasibility of trasnfer. But still I was billed for the month starting sep 10 2011 to oct 2011. If the connection is not feasible, it is responsibility of airtel to inform the customer the feasibility information at the earliest and it is also the responsibility of airtel to make it clear to a customer the transfer procedure and also identify whether the billing needs to be terminated until the connection is transferred .It is not right on the part of airtel to bill a customer post this period without informing him in advance the rules. This is clearly against customer engagement policy and falls under the category of insufficient information porvided to customer during a process. Please take corrective action and send me an updated bill.

                  I have Submitted request for Port out my Airtel postpaid Number([protected]) in Vodafone on 6th June. Porting Request (AD192332).
                  But Airtel has rejected my request for no reason. Now whenever i contact customer care(121). They say that they have no information regarding this, and cut the call.

                  Earlier also 2 months back Airtel has rejected my Porting request without any reason. Customer care executives will behave like they don't know anything. they keep the call on hold for long time and then suddenly your call will be cut down.

                  Please take some serious action against Airtel Mobile network provider.

                  Airtel — Fraudulent rejection of Porting Request

                  I tried to port my airtel number to another operator on 12/06/2011. On 15/06/2011 i received one sms from the new operator letting me know that Airtel has rejected my porting request by invoking some contractual obligation(i really would like to know how any contract is made without the signature of both the parties ) which i came to know about after wasting some serious money and time in talking to customer care executives or maybe following company policy, listened to my whole story, kept me on hold for 5 minutes and then informed me that they have not understood, should i like to talk to their supervisor and they came online and again the whole charade was played out all at my cost of 50p per three minutes out of which i listened to Airtel music for 6 minutes and paid money for listening to it. what a gr8 way to cheat customers. bravo , i would request all business management institutes to put up this way of doing business on their case studies for future management students.

                  On Friday I requested for EBILL to be sent to the mail id [protected]@gmail.com for the month of June.
                  After Discussing with Airtel customer care i did the needful. It has been told by the customer care executive that the EBILL will reach with in 2 hours. But 3 days has been passed but i have not received EBILL.

                  I have never expected this type of act from Airtel.
                  Please send me the EBILL dated 18th june on the mail id [protected]@gmail.com.
                  I have submitted a Number Port request again today i.e. 26th june. Unique porting ID for the mobile number [protected] is AD314579.
                  I have cleared all my bills and number is also a normal number.

                  I am writing here As Airtel should not have any reason to cancel my porting request again.
                  Make sure that the Porting request should not be cancelled this time and it should be completed.

                    Dear Sir,

                    I am an Airtel Digital TV Customer and my customer ID is [protected]. I am facing "No Signal " problem and unable to watch any channel and I have created a service request with Airtel Customer care ( Requset #[protected]. I created the request on 12th of June an I got a call back from technician and he agreed to come to my place by 6pm on the same day. I waited for him till 7.30 pm and no one came. The very next day morning (13th of June) again I got a call from him saying he will come for sure by 6.30 PM . The experience was no different from previous day and finally I called customer care yesterday evening to know what's happening and I was shocked to see their response. They said My request was closed and the reason for that is "No technician " available !!! They wanted me to open a new request but I said NO and I made them reopen the old request .However the issue has not yet been fixed till this moment.

                    How they can close a request from their end for the stupid reason "Technician Not available" that too without asking or informing me ?
                    I am still not sure when the issue will be fixed
                    and I have a demand now. As I am unable to watch programs till now( 3 days) and this is because of their stupid servicing , they are not supposed to charge the rentals for these many days ( or until the issue is fixed).

                    I have an Airtel prepaid no.[protected] (SIM no.[protected]) was taken in Chennai on 9th November 2007 and the same was activated on same day, which worked up to 22nd December 2007 till 11 O’clock. After that there is no tower in my mobile. Then I approached customer relation centre (Laser Valley Telecom) at T.Nagar in Chennai on 22nd November 2007 around 6PM, where I have submitted my documents initially and explained the issue to Mr. Ram (mobile no.[protected]), Mr.Pandian/Miss. Kamakshi (Mobile no.[protected]). They have verified their dispatch list and found that they have submitted my documents to Main office at Chennai on 23rd November 2007.
                    After that on 26th December 2007, I have approached Mr.Nithin (mobile no.[protected]) at Head office at Santhome in Chennai and explained the issue. He took two days time and told me to refer their colleague Mr.Ganesh (mobile no.[protected]). I referred Mr.Ganesh over phone, he took days and finally he told me refer one more his colleague Mr.Karthic (mobile no.[protected]). Mr.Karthic has took three days and told me refer customer relation centre at T.nagar where I have submitted my documents.
                    Again I came back on 2nd January 2008 to customer relation centre (Laser Valley Telecom) at T.Nagar and discussed the issue with Miss.kamakshi. She ask me to give one day time. Then again I went customer relation centre (Laser Valley Telecom) at T.Nagar on 3rd January 2008 and discussed the issue with Miss.kamakshi.
                    Nobody is even trying to me helping me out or responding positively…. Every time I am even a period of time committed…

                    I would like to bring to your notice about the esteemed service provided by the Customer Care department of the stated organization

                    It all started on 17th February, 2008(Sunday) when I noticed that an amount of Rs 30 has been deducted from my current balance. (I had a balance of Rs 100.35 which was reduced to Rs 70.35).

                    On, 18th February, 2008(Monday), I called Customer Care (CC) ([protected]) from Durgapur, WB and prompt reply was given to me by the experts—“Your request is in process, Please call after two hours”

                    On Monday I managed to call at least 4 times, during my third call to CC a technical support representative (female) finally sought out my problem that I had activated Hello Tunes and a monthly rental of Rs 30 had been deducted from my balance.

                    To my severe disbelief (as I had not activated any Hello Tunes or anything like that) I once again called back CC, and during one of my successive attempts I managed to talk to the Technical Supervisor, who after a long interrogation found that the fault was on their side and registered a complaint against my number and promised me to refund back my 30 Rs within the next two hours.

                    I waited till Tuesday morning and yet seeing that no refund was made I called Customer Care again and then I was told a new story that my complaint is already registered with them but their server was down so I had no options but to wait for another two hours.

                    On Tuesday I called CC 4-5 times and similarly on Wednesday another 4-5 times but I was to remember that server side problems always took more than two days to make up!!!!

                    The same server side problem crapped up on Thursday,21st February, 2008 and being quite irritated, I finally asked CC what could be a probable answer to my problem, the first and the best solution offered to me was to wait for another dreaded two hours while a second better option was to bring forward the problem to their head office at Park Street, Kolkata.

                    Today is Friday, 22nd February, 2008, 11:55 am and neither I have got any refund nor have It made a call to CC yet. This is clear indication from the Company’s side that I must try some other carrier if I want better service than I have received in this case.

                    In this short span of five days I managed to call CC around 25-30 times and I conversed with quite a number of Airtel employees Ms Barnana, Ms Priya, Ms Debanjali, Mr Suman………. I am sorry if I can’t remember everyone’s name I talked with…………… and I specially remember Ms Dipannita and Mr Soumitra, who after receiving my call and keeping me on hold for about five minutes just disconnected my call—after all it is the usual procedure followed to deal with customers and I must say they just care for the customers at Customer Care.

                    I had taken a pre-paid connection from one of the shops in Saidapet Chennai. At that time, the person in that shop told to submit only the driving license photocopy, which I did.
                    I got the connection and was using it for around 10 days.
                    One day, my outgoing calls was de-activated. The reason was I have to submit address-proof documents.
                    Now, my first complaint is:
                    1) Why the shop person did not tell about it? Also, I never got any call from Airtel Customer service regarding address shop. I suppose someone from Mobile company should contact the customer within a week, if it is a new connection.
                    2) I tried to explain my problem to a customer representative. She mnetioned that address proof has to be submitted. I asked her where, and she mentioned that I have to go a Airtel retail store. I asked the location and she just disconnected the phone.
                    I am new to Chennai and the customer representatives don't help with the details, who will then?
                    Also, I don't know why not same process is being followed everywhere when it comes to new connections?
                    Yesterday i called up Airtel Customer Care (ACC), when upon asking the agent (Customer representative) to increase the volume as I was unable to hear him, the agent blindy disconnected my call. I called the ACC again and reported that the agent had disconnected the call blindly without even letting me know, when I spoke regarding this to the supervisor, he blindly told that it could be problem on my end (totally bull****), then I asked him that to check his previous logs he supervisor told me that there is no such logs and the last call I made was on 5th Aug.. which i never called (again bull****). I informed the supervisor that he agrees faithfully that the call was dropped, i ld assure that i ld never inquire about this incident and ll let go, he blindly told that its not fault on their end ( ****ing service) again told that it could be problem on my end and due to technical issues. The most interesting thing is that even my pets (dog) agrees that if they had done mistake, the moral is that there is no difference between dogs and the ACC supervisor. It was a pathetic and disgusting interaction, i guess the agents are far more better than supervisors.

                    I am prepaid Airtel mobile user & my no. is [protected]. Airtel has just started a Friend chat service on my mobile on Trial basis and without any information to me. It never wanted any such type of service but they started without my consent.

                    After 3-4 days they deducted a fee for this activation again without any information to me. I have never asked them to subscribe or continue this trial scheme on my mobile. Even on activation of this scheme on my mobile they didn't sent any confirmation message or SMS to me.

                    When I asked to Customer Care center then the reps (Dharam, Muthuk and Manjeet) talked very rudely to me regarding their scheme and refused to refund the money. They even asked me that if I want then I can sue them in Consumer Court and they will do like this only.

                    How could Airtel activate any scheme on Trial basis without my consent and without any information?
                    How could Airtel subscribe any scheme on my mobile without sending any message to me?
                    How could Airtel deduct any amount from my prepaid amount without any information to me?
                    How could Airtel customer care reps (Dharam, Muthuk and Manjeet) talk to me like this ?

                    Airtel is just Ridiculous. I just hate its Service. I will not recommend anybody else to have Airtel Service.

                    AirTel — Poor customer Care Support

                    I had a prepaid airtel SIM whose outgoing was bared after one month o[censored]sage , reason told documents not matched. At the airtel relationship center even after resubmitting the documents no action has been taken in 15 days. Staff are non-cooperative , not giving contact number of any higher authority to talk.

                    AirTel — Poor support and customer care

                    I have Airtel fixed line, broadband and Airtel digital TV. I am planning to close all relationship with Airtel due to their recent very poor support and very childish customer care behaviour.

                    I wanted a plan migration but even after 4 months of rigours attempts and daily calls to customer care, still my plan is not migrated to what I wanted. On top of it, they migrated to some other useless plan which is not at all required by me.

                    Don't go for Airtel. They have very bad customer care and support!

                    Airtel Digital TV is good at torturing its customers. I ordered a movie 'Chillar party' at 1220h on 04 sep 11. Promptly the money Rs 30, was deducted from my account but no movie came on. On calling up customer complaints four times no one could help me but keep mentioning that it shall be resolved. I wonder when it will be resolved.

                    Its usual practice for air tel TV to deduct money and give a stone face reply for not activating the service. This is happening too many times.

                      billing cycle is 25 to 26 i have 198 plan net on my number which is automatically renewed
                      month by month and it get renewed on 26 may and i got message on 10 june that you have
                      consumed 1800mb and after 2 gb you will be charged normally .so i called on customer care se
                      suggest be to get activated 199 plan in which he told me that i will get unlimited data 2 gb
                      with good speed and that less speed but it will not cost me any thing extra and block the
                      previous plan of 198.



                      from 13 june 2013 my internet stop working and when i called customer care executive at 10:30
                      he told me sir you services are barred due to excess o[censored]nbilled amount that is 22000 rs
                      and if you want to get access to internet you par 9154 rs .

                      he also said that you have deactivated you internet in mid of the month so yu will be given
                      only 1 gb free and rest will be charged as per bill plan .

                      sir why i will be charged when i was given 2 gb nd i aleady got charge 198 and i didnt even
                      consume 2gb and i also paid 199 again and still my services got barred why....

                      AM I

                      1. Not paying bill on time from last 10 months
                      2. If there is a condition like this why i was not told earlier.
                      3. Why while activating new 199 plan and deactivating 198 plan you executive didnt told me
                      that you have be given on 1 gb and rest charged in 198 plan.
                      4. Even after paying 199 why my services got barred.

                      a Call within 2 hrs but its almost 8 hours i didnt get and call to resolve my query.

                        I Kishor Chillal purchased Airtel 3G Data Card ([protected]) Internet Service on the confirmation that the monthly charges would not exceed beyond Rs.750 and also it was assured by Airtel team that the there is no roaming applicable for Data network but when I checked my bill for the month of 12th Jun 2013 I was chraged Rs.1826 which is really a matter of concern.

                        One payment was done twice thru Citi Bank Credit Card on 22/11/09 Vide Ref. No.[protected] and 430288 amount 2341.34.
                        I got confirmation from AirTel on 22/11/09, that the payment is taken twice and will be adjusted in next subsequent billings,
                        Bill No.[protected] Dated 113.58 dated 06/01, Clearly showing the excess payment and amount 113.58 adjusted again excess payment taken and additional payment was reflecting as -2034.84

                        Bill No.[protected] dated 06/02, amounting 479.75, Clearly showing the excess payment and amount 479 adjusted again excess payment taken and additional payment was reflecting as -1555.09

                        Suddenly 21/02/09, AirTel Disconnected my number and when contacted, it was informed that amount is outstanding and they reverse my payment 2341.34.
                        This payment was no where reflecting in my account, I confirmed from Citi Bank executive and also see my credit card details online, nothing is relfecting till 06/03/09 7:10 pm

                        Keep sending mail to AirTel and contacting 121, I am just getting a reply that payment is reversed and amount is outstanding, but where it is reflecting? I already send the my latest statement to AirTel which is not reflecting any reversal almost one month is passed.

                        No senior person is coming on line and executives at 121 is not able to resovle the issue,

                        I dont know where to go????

                        He should immediately file a case at consumer court against Airtel. In such type of cases normally Courts thrash mobile service oroviders. He should not only get refund but also a good amt of compensation.

                        AirTel — Data card

                        I had bought an airtel data card(wireless internet broadband connection) last month.
                        - It does not work now because of data mismatch in the backend(operator mistake) they are not rectifying it after repeated complaints and not ready for a refund also.i paid2999rs for the data card and 1000rs as deposit.
                        -The speed claimed by airtel is 236kbps, but the speed never goes beyond 16kbps.

                        Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

                        AirTel — Billing and network issue

                        Myself Sukhwinder Singh. I had my airtel nos.[protected], [protected].I want to make ur kind attention towards my problem concerned with above nos. I had purchased above nos. from M/s Nandini Comm. A/city about 5 months ago, but a problem arised when both of my nos. Where not working properly (network related) even in residential areas of A/city. Then I complaint to customer care (121) about this for more than 4 to 5 times whose complaint reference nos. are 21865315,[protected],[protected] etc. But the result was nil. At last I said to customer care that I will not pay the bill unless my problem is solved, because the problem tends to my business loss. Then there were two bills which I had not paid after this incident. Now a person named Mr.Raj Kumar from A/cantt Airtel office send a recovery boy named Mr. Lalit and asked me to call Mr. Raj Kumar and then I called Mr.Raj Kumar and told him about the whole problem. But he not avers refused to solve my problem but also said that he will send recovery boy who will sit round o’clock at my house unless I will pay my Bills. The way of talking of Mr.Raj Kumar was very bad & rude even then I told him that if he solve my problem I will pay the bill But he not take any attention towards it. He not even thinks about company reputation.
                        So, in vein I want to say that now you have came to know about this give me a reason why should I pay my bill.

                        Airtel — 3G Data Card Bill related issues

                        I have taken an Airtel 3G DataCard on 1st February 2011. While issuing the datacard I was told that the Free usage will be given on pro-rated basis and my bill will be calculated from 1st to 20th. During the usage period, I have called them several times to confirm this and to give my outstanding bill amount. However their customer care (which in my opinion is the worst ever service) said that it will be available only when the bill is generated. Finally now, they have created a bill calculating the pro-rated basis from 1st Feb - 10th Feb and asking me to pay 15000 ruppees.

                        I have been calling their customer care to try to explain these details and their customer care quality is poor to such level that they are recording some irrelevant details in the customer complaint and not providing the solution.

                        Every time I call to follow up the complaint, the customer care people put me on hold for 30 minutes and drop the call.

                        I do not know what sort of customer service is this and I may be ending up in paying this bill which is a total fraud.

                        Customers Please be aware of such looters.

                        The issue is still pending and my service has been disconnected temporarily.

                        I have accepted the service only after confirmation from the Airtel contact centre executive that the monthly charges won't go beyond Rs.750 and once the limit is crossed I'll be getting the benefit of 2G with only browsing facility but there won't be additional cost to my monthly bill.

                            AIRTEL PHONE AND INTERNET CONNECTION — Landline and internet connection not working

                            Sir,

                            I, Radha Chaturvedi, is holding AIRTEL land line number[protected], located House No. 9, F2 Sector, Mayur Vihar Colony, Ashoka Garden, Bhopal - 462023, M.P. since[protected]. I have also activated INTERNET CONNECTION on the line.

                            On 3-6-2009, the landling and internet connection was not working and I lodged a complaint with customer care executive Mr. Abhishek at 1230 hrs. who gave me a complaint no. : 20488696 and assured that the landling and internet connection will function before 1730 hrs. on 3-6-2009.

                            It is now well past 1200 hrs. on 4-6-2009, and still the landline is not functional. No one from Airtel has botered to call me or to inform me of the delay in starting the line which for all practical purpose has gone dead only after 3 days of installation!!!

                            You are requested to kindly provide better service and do the needful please.

                                  Customer care executives from air-tel told me to call on number 543211 to change dialer tone(Song).When am calling in this number not getting any customer care executive and they are taking 3.rs per minute. I tried 3 times but getting information that all are busy or call will be disconnected and taking charge 3Rs. Customer not getting any benefit from this .

                                    Past one month the balance on my Airtel number [protected] is deducting automatically. I get a message from Airtel saying Thanks for downloading a value pack from Airtel for Rs.xxx. Some time it deducts Rs99, some times Rs65 n some some other amount which varies according to my balance. Every time it happens, I call the customer care. They say, sir you have downloaded a value pack. When I say I have not done it and act tough on them, they give my balance back, saying, sir you are our valuable customer so we are reversing the balance this time. But if it happens again we cannot help you.

                                    Once a customer care supervisor agreed that it seems to be a technical problem. He said that it will be forwarded to the technical department and I will never face the problem again. But its repeating again and again.

                                    Its really been frustrating. Is this a new way of Airtel to loot its customers and fund its scams.

                                    Airtel — Automatic caller/hello tune activation against Prepaid Cell Connection

                                    Airtel is just cheating. I did not opt for caller/hello tune against my Airtel Prepaid Cell Connection. Airtel activated it automatically.

                                    i am ananda a consumer of airtel in orissa circle having mobile number [protected] beg to state that, last night after making a call to a local number beside the call charge a sum of rupees 45/- had been deducted from my account. i contacted with customer care and came to know caller tune service activeted by pressing * button . but i am sure sir i never press any button during that call . repeat i never press any button during that call. automatically that service activated .please solve my problem and return my deducted said amount for which i shall ever grateful to you.
                                    I am having two connections( [protected]--Prepaid) without hello tune and ([protected]-Post paid ) with hello tune Imagine (remix) .

                                    Surprisingly SAME HELLO TUNE of my other postpaid connection got activqted vide SMS no -6782 & 6781 .I might have pressed some button to close some UNSOLICITED SMS from your end.KINDLY Deactivate your all prmo SMS from both the connection for future years so I may not be trapped like this.

                                    Needles to mention that getting hello tune in my prepaid connection I had to call up your helpdesk executive and then select some tune which got activated after few hours.But in the forced injected hello tunes for [protected] all these stages were not there.

                                    Kindly arrange to refund the charges duducted from the account for activiting hellow tune and extend your good genture to customer which normally airtel does.I have already informed to your helpdesk and ref no is indicated at the subject.

                                    Airtel — pure activations

                                    hello hi airtel has become worse that they are showing that they are no 1 but this not where the distributors and the dealers are doing preactivations and selling the cards in numbers at low price they company is becoming worse that the are killing people hard earned money and the government doest even care like this company nowadays every thing is only with the money distribuor like mayura agencies in katpadi vellore is the worst amd bks traders in vellore are the worst where the distributors do sell the companys demo cards at rs 2000 to 5000 and even do lots and lots of preactivations and wasting the comapany prepaid card for where the airtel company is giving more and more commision but or utter waste

                                    AirTel — deduction from my balance

                                    I am a user of Airtel Mobile service with Mobile No. [protected]. frequently i am receiving messages that enjoy download games with http//gclub and deducting amount from my available balance.

                                    Before this I lodged 2 compalaints and thought that it may be stopped. Today i received a call from Airtel custer service and they inform me that in future it will not happened. But today at 3.30 afternoon again it happened and they deducted Rs.20 from my balance. Due to which i am feeling very uncomfort and planing to change my mobile service from Airtel to any other Mobile service because I can not afford this much loss.

                                    Kindly take personal interest and take necessary step to stop this type of deduction and inform me otherwise there is no way to change my mobile sevice.

And there is no chance to complain to Airtel customer service because they always say that the pack is activated by you and it is not activate automatically but the question is when they inform me about there pack?                                     Huge balance getting deducting from my no [protected] automatic ,After checking i found that a value added service called "star of the month" is activated on my number, but I HAVE NOT REQUESTED FOR ANY SERVICE. this service has been unwantedly been activated in my number by airtel hence balance has been deducted. I called their careline several times but always call gets disconnected. this is creating a big mental hazardeous to me .I kindly request you to look after this matter and credit my balance immediately and reply as soon as possible.

                                    i am currently in gurgaon.My account balance is deducted automatically.at 1:47PM 5 rs is deducted from my account.I received a msg that i renewed voicecricket service.whan i call to customer care they said that I activated the service by today at 12PM... by dialing a no.
                                    But I don't activate any service. One more thing If i activate the service by today how they can renew it today.... Its a trick to trap annocent customer.. plz help me to get my balence and take action to this fraud company..my mobile no is [protected]

                                    Hello Sir

                                    In my mobile automatically the services getting activated without me knowing.
                                    Yesterday Radio service get activated on 6 P.m. and 30/- deducted from account.
                                    Today some Ravi Teja event get activated on 6:28 P.m. and 15/- get deducted from account.
                                    What’s going on.
                                    I tried to all ur customer care nos. like 198, 121, 1211, 12118, 59830, 54321300, 1909, 12321, [protected], 4121 but no where direct call connected to customer executive.
                                    Please do the needful help.
                                    And plz credit the amount of these services in my account. And deactivate these 2 services, I am not interested at all.
                                    Without my permission how it’s getting activated.

                                    Airtel — Deducting my balance by automatically activating payable services

                                    sir, since last two two days Airtel is activating payable services on my mobile no. [protected] .On 16may11 they charged me for downloading a game even i didn't download any game.On 17may11 they charged me for online radio service but i didn't activate any service like this. when i contacted customer care they told me that u have surfed the internet and downloaded the game.but i surfed the internet for 4-5minutes and i have only surfed the site www.rediffmoney.com except that i didn't surfed any site then how can i download a game.while contacting to customer care i didn't get satisfactory answer from them.
                                    i am not getting positive attitude from you people

                                    Bharti Airtel Limited — Automatic Activation of Various Services and Deducts Money from my Account

                                    Sir/Madam,

                                    I have a prepaid airtel no.[protected] under my name Kulbhushan Hasija.
                                    From last few months , I dont know what is the problem with Airtel.
                                    They activated services on my number at their will and charge me without my notice and request.
                                    Last year they activated Cricket Pack Rs.5 per day for 8 months and then they activated a Shahrukh pack and then a game which I didnt knew at all and they charged me like anything. They are cheating me and my illiterate country people at their will.2-3 months back on my representation telephonically they have stopped all such services which I never need and now once again they have activated Videos Unlimited Pre Subscription Services on 5/07/11 and charged Rs.2 per day for which I have never requested.
                                    In view of the above , I hereby request to please look into the matter and save my hard earned money and thousands of my Indian friends from being cheated.

                                    But same has been done again w.e.f 27.07.11, 29.07.11 and 31.07.11 by activating Hanuman chalisa and some hungama pack which I have never asked for. That means the coy is continuously looting the innocent mobile uses all over India.
                                    That is very clear that their hands are in our Pocket is very free, and they are looting at their will. The magnitude of the problem is in Some Lac Crores.

                                    This is Binay from Hyderabad, I am working in IBM as a System Admin. I have issue with Airtel service provider, I am using Airtel sim previously 3.5 years but in a few month i am facing lot of problem they deduct my balance every day. Allready they deduct my hello tune charge after that They are sending some SMS regarding hello tunes and cutting my balance. I was tryied to contact with customer care about this problem but they are no attending my calls really i am very fed up so please kindly help to resolve this issue. My mobile no. is [protected].

                                    My name is Alpesh Tomar from ahmedabad i am using airtel sim card since last near by last 7 month .I am the regular cutomer of airtel
                                    but i am not happy the service of airtel . Because the company is deducting unnessecary balance from my accoun . On 14/10/2011 at near by 11 pm
                                    i just made a call to my friend and after disconnecting the call what i have seen that company had deducted 20 rs from account . I got the message that your caller tune service is started but i never told them to start all these bull .When i called the custumer care one of the person recive the call and told think to him .After that he told i cat refund your balance .Then i told ok no problem dont refund the balance but just transfer the call to
                                    your manager or supervisor, so what the answer i got from that gay the supervisor is on in office i will not transfer the call .After doing so many argument at last that gay has transfer the call .He transfer me to someone to the person whose name was lokesh chaudhary again i explain whole
                                    think to him .These gay is saying that after all conversatoin that you not get balance back and he is also not giving any satisfactory answer to me . After all these thinks i have also made the complane for think and that extra deduction of my balance of my call charges . My airtel to airtel call charges are 10 paise per minite and other mobile 60 paise per minite . On 14/10/2011 at evening at the time of near by 7 pm i call on my one of my friends number who is using airtel only and i have talk to her for 3.17 minites according to that company have to deduct 40 paise but they have deducted 90 paise, and after that i asked that according to what you have deducted these charges, then what did they answer we dont have any detail of your call charges what is going with my number and also gave me someone personal mobile number and told that talk to her in morning. why should will call any personly? .And these is not first time they had done several times all these thinks but because i am not getting time that why dont done the complane . so now i want answer for all these thinks .i hope that i will get the positive support from your side ...My contact no is [protected] you can reach me any time on these no and my email id is [protected]@gmail.com .Hope that you will also not going to demotivate me ...

                                    Airtel — Deducting amount for activations

                                    I didnt activate any subscriptions/activations,but my mobile amount is deducted for some activations.Then i call up to customer care 121,and deactivate my activation.But again after some days same problem.This is repeating till today.why that stupid activations are activated even if i didnt activate it. Why the great "Airtel" frauding the people like this.Its not only my problem,almost everyone face this problem.I request you to please dont deduct money from our mobile simply.

                                    agian today[protected] u guys have fraudly charged 20rs again saying some service such as RM service is activated
                                    as soon i got the notification i have deactivated it using stop service but i have lost 20rs
